Asami was getting frustrated. Her wing was acting funny ever since she crashed into that tree. She wasn’t sure if she was worried about it however. Who wants to be around all the couples at the school on Valentine’s Day anyways? She didn’t like it. Sure she had been asked out before but it was as if all the boys had created a pact to break up with her before Valentine’s Day or wait to ask her after it.

She groaned as she pushed away the thoughts and jumped up, flapping her wings. She couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her wing. It just wasn’t flying normally.

“This is soooo not fair,” she grumbled as she gracefully landed in a clearing. “Everyone gets a Valentine and I get a screwed up wing.”

"I'm lost." This was the conclusion Deus Solomon had reached having spent hours wandering the woods the previous night.

It had started off normally. He'd gone into the woods to fight a spirit. Well that was normal for Deus at least. Even so he'd slain the spirit just as he had intended too but when he got done chasing the darn thing he'd completely lost track of where he was. His terrible sense of direction certainly didn't help things much. He was completely lost before long wandering deeper and deeper into the woods.

Despite this he looked impeccable. He had on his tailored black slacks, a white button down, and a black suit jacket over it. The button down was unbottoned just beneath his neck to allow him room to breath. But otherwise the entire suit looked like it was fresh from the wash. Hours of wandering in the woods didn't change the fact that Deus wanted to always be seen as an elite.

It also didn't hurt that his spirit butler was there to keep him looking impeccable even in the most dire of times.

As such when he finally emerged into a clearing with a girl with... Something? No.. It was like a vague impression of.. something there on her back. It was like it was on the periphery of his supernatural ghost sight. Even so he couldn't make out what they were. Was she being haunted? He didn't think so.. Still, that was odd. The protection they had felt very strong. Whatever blocked him from seeing it was derived from some very ancient magics..

Divinity? Ritualistic? Faith? All of these things could conjure up ancient magics of amazing potency. But for now he'd ignore it. "Valentines day.. eh?" He said with a sarcastic tone. "What stupid holiday.." He pressed his fingers against his forehead. "Idiotic couples impose on each other fruitless expense all to prove their 'love' when all they are really doing is judging each other based on who spent more.. Valentines just turns romance into an idiot's game. And the only one that wins are the corporations that make money from it.."

That was classic Deus style. Just run up and start talking with no introduction or invitation. He really had no shame.

Asami turned quickly at the sound of his voice as he approached. Another Anti-Valentine's Day fan? She closed her wings and walked closer to him. She didn't bring her rosary with her so there was no use in trying to hide them. She did, however, swiftly removed the small knife that hid underneath her sleave. She didn't have any intention of hurting him but she couldn't say the same for him. She did enjoy the fact, however, that they saw Valentine's Day through the same eyes

"Who are you?" She asked softly, slightly tilting her head so she could look at him closer. He had the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen before and he looked really nice in his black and white suit. But why was he all the way out here in a suit?

Deus drew closer to where he could properly see her. However as he did she seemed to notice him and react. Rather than a cheerful greeting though he got a stubborn demand for his name. He smirked a bit, somewhat pleased by her reaction. But even so he wouldn't admit it. He let out a small breath turning from her, and throwing his arms up in mock resignation. "Man.. so rude.. Demand a person's name without offering your own." He said with a thin frown. He had an obvious English accent over his Japanese. Mashed languages to match his mixed blood. Tall like a foreigner, pale skilled like a Japanese, blue eyes like a foreigners, etc. He tucked his hands into his pockets as he looked away from her letting out a slow breath.

"I suppose that's to be expected from the low breed." He said taking a few slow steps towards her, eying the wings on her back with a frown. He really didn't know what to make of that. There they were. The real an genuin articles. For all he knew he was talking to a letigimate angel or something.

"Deus Solomon, your majesty."He said sarcastically, sticking out his tongue with a thin grin as he did so. An angel or annoying girl, he would treat them all with the same dispassionate condescending teasing that he was practically known for.

Did he...did he just call her a low breed?? What a jerk? What did he expect her to do? giver him her name and spill her life story to him? She put her knife back where it was and glared at him.

"You don't have to be such a jerk," she replied, crossing her arms under her breast. "My name is Asami Do. I didn't mean to offend you."

She honestly didn't like the fact that he was upset with her. She doesn't like it when anyone is upset with her. She wasn't trying to be rude and even though he looked hot with his peircing blue eyes and black suit, doesn't mean that she was all that happy with the fact that he was insulting her.

She felt a cramp run through her right wing and winced as she tried to shake it out, trying her best not to make it all too noticeable.

Deus laughed dryly. "You call me a jerk and then apologize... I see sincerity isn't your strong suit." She didn't offer her name but them he didn't ask. It wasn't like he particularly cared what her name was.He pushed his hands deep into his pockets as he eyed her with those blue eyes. What DID interest him was how polar opposite they were. His own crystalline blue eyes and hair both matching his frigidly cold personality. He fiery red hair and eyes causing her to snap but almost instantly she retreated behind a wall of meekness. It was like she couldn't decide if she wanted to let him have it or play nice. Either way Deus was enjoying watching her squirm.

It was amusing to him. As if he'd found his complete opposite. Even her deep red eyes told him so. Which was fine. He enjoyed people whom had some fight in them. In the list of incredibly annoying people that comprised the human race people he could at least pick at without getting too sensitive were highly ranked in 'least annoying'.

But let's be clear, they were still annoying. He didn't like ANYONE enough to consider them not a huge bother to death with.

He cocked an eyebrow towards her wing as he stepped forward. "I believe.. and you'll forgive me if I don't recall but I don't make a habit of paying much attention to the things other people have to say... But I believe that you said something about your wing being injured..?" He said removing a hand from his pocket and motioning towards it.

This could work out for him. She was in a spot of bother and he could help her out a bit and then she'd lead him out. Seemed like a plan to him. Better than rotting here.

She eyed him suspiciously as she moved her hands to her hips.

"I didn't say anything about my wing so you can go ahead and go home," she replied with a glare. She turned and looked up at the opening above the clearing. It was getting late and the sun was starting to move behind the trees. She didn't want to have another unsuccessful night. She ran into the middle of the clearing and launched into the air. She was up for a few seconds until pain shot through her body and she fell back to the ground on her side. She let out a scream of frustration as she sat up.

She turned to see if the boy was still there and, of course, he was just standing there looking at her.

And so she brilliantly retorted and rushed off to try and fly away on those wings. At this point Deus seemed to pale a bit. It was somewhat annoying. If she managed to fly off then he was screwed. Stuck in a forest presumably until the day he died. If she fell then she was just being idiotically stubborn and further injuring herself. Both options were equally unappealing. However when she crashed even he had to wince. It looked like it hurt.

Asmodeus clapped. "Amazing. 10 points." He said holding up a board with her score. Where he'd gotten it was something that didn't need addressing.

Either way. He sighed heavily and planted a hand firmly on his face, the other crossed his chest as he shook his head in obvious exasperation. "I know you're no fan of mine but abusing yourself is ridiculous." He said with a frown. He stepped towards her and eyed her wing. Looking for the injury or the flaw.

He took a knee, grudgingly since it meant his pants knee was now dirty, and extended a hand to her. "Sorry your majesty but you're just going to have to walk out of here like a person.." He said suppressing a grin. "However not before we set the wing and make sure it's not moving around. If it's a fracture it could result in the bone chipping. If it's not then that's fine but there's no reason to take a risk." He walked back across the clearing where he opened up a duffel bag he'd hidden in the brush earlier.

He came back with a roll of bandage. "I play a lot of baseball and wrap my hands to prevent callouses.." He turned, posing dramatically as he pushed his fingers into his hair taking on a distant gaze. "What would I do to make it up to my adoring fans.. if my hands were course..?" He said melodramatically.

"Anyhow." He tossed the bandages at her forehead. "You know how to use these right?"

She grabbed the bandages and chunked them back at him.

"Quit calling me that!" she yelled at him. "Why are you trying to help me? Why can't you just leave me alone? Why do you care? You're so conceited and stuck up and you don't seem likke one to help anyone so wont you just go home? You don't care!"

During her rant she had stood up and was now so close to his face, she could see all the blue strands in his eyes. She was getting annoyed and she just wanted to be able to use her wing. She was tired of being grounded.

Deus flinched a bit as he was hit before he laughed. However his laughing stopped when she blew her lid right in his face. Getting closer to him and yelling with her full force. It seemed he'd really manged to tax her nerves. He tucked a hand into his pocket and leaned forward, unwavering meeting her gaze at the uncomfortably small distance. He wore a thin smile.

This was interesting.

"AS angry as you get the reality is you're just being stubborn, right? Whether or not you like it, you need me.." He said before turning and picking up the bandaged. He glanced over his shoulder. He held the bandage out towards her. "It's no good if you don't set it.." He said calmly. "As angry or upset as you might be acting any other way is just reckless. Even if you turn down my help will you really wind up better off?"

He retracted his hand clutching the bandages. "Why not throw away that useless pride and just admit defeat?" He said before tossing the bandages to her once again. He turned looking to the far side of the forest. He really wanted out of here. But not asking for her help was his own way of being stubborn. Not that he'd admit it.

She knew he was right. She wasn't really in the mood to admit it, but she didn't want to be left alone out here. She looked down at the bandages in his hand and back up at his eyes.

"I..." she started, blushing as she glanced back at her wing. "You'll have to wrap it. I can't reach it and I would need to extend to so it can be wrapped properly."

She looked down at and shook her head, knowing in the back of her mind that he wouldn't do it. Even if he knew that she needed him to. Even if she really wanted him to.

She blushed at the thought and shook her head once more.

".... Tch.. girls are.. sly.." He said with a thin frown. "You owe me." He said pointing to her. He turned and picked up the bandages once more unraveling them. He walked around behind her eying the wing with a frown. He knew the general methods for treatment of a broken bone and he knew how to properly set one. But even so this was something he'd never done before.

He reached out, touching the wing gingerly. It was somewhat surprising. They felt like real feathers. More importantly as he placed his fingers on the flesh of the wing he could feel.. warmth. The warmth all living things had. The feeling of blood circulating and life. It was strange. These were a real genuine part of her body. He couldn't understand why but suddenly he felt a bit nervous.

After a moment he snapped out of it, quickly setting to work. He used a long stick nearby and smoothed it out. He then retracted the wing to it's resting position before placing the stick and wrapping the wing around it so that the stick could keep it straight. The whole process took a bit of time and by the time he was done the sky had begun to loose it's color.

He finished and dusted his hands off. He walked around and planted his hands in his sides. "Oi.. We should be all set." He glanced towards the waning light. "But it looks like we need to get out of here.. After dark it becomes dangerous. Besides animals and things there's also mundane risks like twisting your ankle on a root in the low visibility." He planted a hand in his side and looked around. "You know the way?"

His hands were soft and it felt good. No one's ever touched her wing like that before; like he really actually cared about what happened to it. She felt a little nervous and weird littl butterflies were jumping around in her stomach.

When he was done he asked if she knew the way out. She grinned slyly, a knowing look etching its way into her eyes.

"That's why you wouldn't leave me alone!" she laughed. "You didn't know the way out! And you call me the low breed."

She scoffed, the grin never leaving her face. This was too good. At this rate, with the sky this dark and her wing out of service, it would take a few hours to get back. She decided to play a little joke on him.

"Well," she sighed. "Looks like we're camping!"

Oh this was priceless!!

".... That's ridiculous." Deus said looking around idly. He was getting somewhat annoyed. So she was onto him?! He couldn't let a low breed scoundrel like her get the upper hand on him. He wanted to yank that red hair right from her head but he remained as calm as ever on the surface. He was still in control here! She owed him! Besides he was a suave guy! He could turn this around!

He turned to her and frowned a bit, looking somewhat saddened. "After I went through all that trouble.. This is how you repay me." He said putting on his best saddened act. However he mocked having a sudden realization. He walked towards her looking to her with a ever growing smile. "Wait.. I think I see what happened.."

He turned dramatically on his heel to face away from her, using the back of his head to press against his forehead, throwing out his best melodramatic tone. "You are trying to keep me all to yourself out here.." He turned looking a bit embarrassed. "It seems you have been swept up by my masculine charms and now want to.. sleep with me out here all alone!" His fake expression slowly faded in a sly grin of condescension.

"Oh hoh~! Girls sure are sly.. To think you had such a despicable plan~! Trying to take advantage of me~"

This was the weirdest thing she'd ever seen. Asami crossed her arms and watched his crazy little act. She did owe him and there was no way she was going to leave him out here. She was just having fun. Now he's claiming that she wanted to stay in the forest so that they could have sex?! WTF?! Well, now it's time to play.

When he was finnished, she put on her seductive smile and slowly crept up to him.

"You're right," she replied as she got closer. "This entire time I've been creating some type of plan to get that suit off of your body."

She was now less than a centimeter away from his face. She moved her hands up and ran them down his chest slowly. She leaned up so that her lips were slightly brushing his ear. She ignored how good his scent was and focused on not bursting with laughter.

"Now," she whispered, "there's no way for you to escape..."
