A car rose into the air before flying forward, compelled by unseen forced. It's body twisted and wrenched with the sound of grinding steel into a spear-like shape as it flew. It's massive two ton body slammed forcefully into the ground, sending chunks of metal and street flying. The people nearby turned away running quickly.

All around a police perimeter had formed rapidly. However as soon as they emerged their guns shattered apart, breaking down and flying away from them. Their cars became ammunition, crushed by his power into levitating two ton wrecking balls. The man stood with a thin smile as he eyed the boy. "Next..?"

"Shit..." Jameson said panting heavily. His body was already at it's limit. He couldn't henshin into a kamen rider. He'd just be crushed by his own suit. He'd already ditched every metal thing on him before setting out on the mission. But that meant that a lot of his own weaponry was out of reach. All he had left was the evoker and his own power but a fat lot of good those did him.

The man was tall with dark hair. Floating in orbit around him were five large steel balls formed from cars. Closer to his body were several dozen smaller spheres which were made of various objects but for all intents an purposes were a portable arsenal. They could double as instant armor, attack, or both. It was an impossible fight. He had too much power and could control too much metal at once. And the city had so much metal within it that it wasn't easy to get him away from his unlimited armory that was.. well..

Almost everything.

Jameson had done well so far just to stay alive. Much more and he'd be toast. He'd have to put his faith in the 'Hyakuji Effect'. Which was that whenever something made a mess in this city kids would show up to fight it. The cops were useless, hell even Zect wouldn't be much help with their weapons all being metalic in base. At this rate he'd be lucky if the JSDF didn't just cut their loses and bomb the streets.

"You... were .. Cypriss' best.. friend.." Jameson said through grit teeth. "Why?! He LOVED this city"

"It's BECAUSE I'm cypriss' best friend. Even now. I won't let you stop Johnson's plan." He split one of the metal spheres into hundreds of metallic spike before firing them all off rapidly at the detective. "Johnson's going to bring him back! And he'll make us all immortal. Don't you get it, yet?! This is the ultimate ideal world! A world without death!"

Jameson summoned his barrier and took off quickly around a corner. He slid, falling and rolling before throwing up another barrier to stop another round of the spikes. "Damn damn! I'm gonna have to use that! My forbidden powers...?! No.. first I should try to use the persona!"

"Don't YOU get it? The person Johnson brings back won't be Cypriss. Cypriss is DEAD. Dead is the ENDING! There is no second chance! The clone he makes won't be Cypriss! He'll be someone whom is burdened by his existance! Everyone will tell him he is, they make him act like he is, but the memories he'll have are someone elses and that will burden his heart! He'll wind up resenting you all and you all will resent him for not being the original! Don't you understand something that simple?! A CLONE IS NOT THE ORIGINAL! IT'S A NEW PERSON! A PERSON FORCED TO BEAR THE WEIGHT OF A FACE THAT PEOPLE ASSOCIATE WITH SOMEONE ELSE! THAT'S TOO CRUEL!"

"Hahaha! You're so idiotic! That sort of mentality is just cheap talk. Sure we all like to think we're snowflakes. No two alike. But if my body is recreated and my memories are in that body then what am I but myself?"

"A CHEAP IMMITATION! I won't let you do that. You already took my best friend away from me. I'm not gonna let you take his death away from me too!" Jameson said forcefully as he pulled out his evoker.. Surely someone would come.. He had to believe in that.

Because this was a fight he couldn't win on his own.

Hopefully it wasn't too late.

Ever since she had taken off with little notice a month or so ago, she'd had the occasional feeling of wondering whether or not she would actually return to this city. She'd gotten so used to being able to vacate at a moment's notice that the idea of return was, surprisingly, quite appealing. More recently, however, she'd had the nagging feeling of something dark lurking in the back of her mind. It started out as an annoying afterthought, and progressively increased to something that occupied the forefront of her mind more and more. It was enough for her to finish up what she was doing, and get back to her new-ish home in suburbia as soon as possible.

The only problem was...she had no idea what the cause of the subconscious disturbance was. Did someone break into her apartment? She'd have to check that out first.

Robyn walked into her dark apartment slowly at first, taking in her surroundings to make sure everything was as she left it. Her hand rested cautiously on her holster as she scanned the shadows, sliding her other hand against the wall until she reached the light switch.

--click--

She dragged her gaze over the interior and...not a single thing had moved.

"Nothing amiss here,"
she commented nonchalantly as she finished her walk into the mediocre living room.

Still, that nagging feeling lingered. She stood in the middle of her apartment, hands on her hips as she continued to scan. Of course, her cell phone would've been a good place to check for information. She closed the distance and picked up the device on her kitchen counter, switching on the display and noticing there were absolutely zero messages. Over a month and no contact from the agency? This was strange.

As she stood in her kitchen, she suddenly felt a soft but distinct rumble overtake her living quarters from either a huge crash or explosion off in the distance. Hyakuji wasn't known to have earthquakes from anything other than a brawl of some sort; a city hosting super-powered kids tended to be prone to those sorts of things. Not uncommon, and yet...

It took half a second for the wheels in her brain to click and everything suddenly seemed to make sense.

This was it.

She shoved her phone in her back pocket, grabbed her jacket, and headed back out the door with urgency. The Robyn she knew a few months ago would have left things the way they were unless some form of payment was involved, but she felt strangely compelled for some reason.

The clicking of her heels was swallowed by the fleeing citizens of suburban Hyakuji as she walked briskly in the direction of the commotion. The feeling she had earlier continued to grow as she neared the scene, pushing past the crowds of people adamant to vacate the area as quickly as possible. From around the corner of a building she saw chunks of debris flying through the air, and she knew she was in the right place. But she still had to figure out who was involved...

...Of course. Who ELSE would find himself at the center of such a predicament?

She saw the cause of the damage--some guy who seemed to have control over the metal objects in the area based on the crumpled cars and lack of street lights. It would be interesting to see how her guns reacted to it. Elemancers weren't her favorite choice of enemy as her more traditional confrontation styles were less effective, but the least she could do was give Jameson a hand. It was her first real opportunity to attempt to not be a cold, hard bitch in battle and could stand up for compadres...but she wasn't going to make any promises. Old habits die hard.

Robyn pushed through the remaining crowd and crouched behind a large pile of concrete from a crumbled car imprint into a building. She missed the whole correspondence between the two, but wasn't too concerned with the details at this point. She threw a small rock in Jameson's direction to get his attention.

"Hey! Sorry I'm late. Need a hand?"

"What? A hand? With this guy? Naaaah!" Jameson said sarcastically pressing the gun barrel to his head. "Bee arr bee"

The source of power for a persona summon was subconscious fear. It was the palpitations of your heart as the gun barrel pressed against your skull. It was the terror that gripped you even if you knew there was no danger, no bullet. It was the psychological terror that made your palms sweat, your jaw lock. And it was overcoming it through force of will.

"Per

So

Na."

He said before pulling the trigger, causing an explosion of white energy which suddenly turned solid before shattering into a million pieces over his head merging into two towering figures.

"We art thou."
"Thou art we"
"Brothers immortal. CASTOR!"
"POLLUX!"

The large figured riding his black skeletal steed burst forward. His lance was drawn forward like a jouster atop a hellish steed. His speed was impressive but then it had no legs or conventional means of locomotion. A warped dark figured atop a black steed of bones. Truly an impressive sight to behold.

HeavyMetal threw out his arm sending several of his cannonballs towards the large figure looming towards him. They exploded like bullets. Giant, city devastating bullets.

This time it was Pollux's turn. As soon as he got in range Pollux raised an arm into the air. "ZIO!" Jameson roared, and the creature completed it's task. Summoning powerful lightning bolts one after another to incinerate and blast apart the flying spheres of steel.

The cannon in Castor's chest began to gather energy. "HEATWAVE!" Flames shot from it in a massive scorching blast. "GOD'S HAND!" Castor continued to his target dropping his lance and swinging his fist around. A large red over-sized fist of pure energy swelled from his hand, it rushed forward before impacting the man with an explosion of force. The ground shattered apart. The windows nearby broke. Winds swept the streets.

"ZIO! ZIO! MAZIO!" Jameson continued, giant bolts of pure electric wrath shot down from the sky continuously. Every time the light faded a new blast emerged sending a blast of concussive force and wind along with the light.

The air became silent.. rumbling reverberated through the streets. Jameson panted heavily. "Dio.." He said weakly.

Castor raised his arm, a while healing light enveloped Jameson healing his wounds and fatigue. "That... should do it.."

Slowly the dust cleared revealing a melted smoldering crater of molten hot steel. The concrete and street had been blown to smithereens. The entire area looked like a meteor had impacted. Jameson felt remotely good about it. "So that's what it's like to go all out..?"

From the center of the crater the black melted charred rock moved before shattering apart. Heavy Metal emerged with a smirk. "Took almost all of the steel in the area to shield from that blast. But this is a city. There's always more."

"............... fuck." Jameson said with his shoulders drooping. He turned to the girl. "Yeah, I may need an assist."

Robyn remained crouched behind the giant boulder of concrete while Jameson summoned his colossal attack. It was quite a spectacle, and forced her to pull the side of her jacket up over her head as the windows in the surrounding area shattered and rained shards of glass down upon those unfortunate enough to be on the streets.

She had no idea how she'd managed to hold onto her hearing amongst all of the large-scale attacks she'd witnessed since her transfer to Hyakuji; maybe it was some sort of subconscious defense mechanism that kicked in. After the wave of heat, flames and energy engulfed its target, Robyn wondered if she'd meandered her way out there for nothing.

"Took almost all of the steel in the area to shield from that blast. But this is a city. There's always more."

...Looked like she wouldn't be completely useless after all. She had to wonder what this guy's deal was that he could withstand such an attack. Despite his apparent strength, she couldn't help but stifle a laugh at his comment.

"Seriously? This guy sounds like he walked right off of a budget X-Men movie remake."
Robyn glanced over at Jameson who looked better than he had when she first saw him. The girl couldn't help but be impressed that he possessed such a massive power when initially she thought his only skill was reading people as she discovered on their first meeting.

She stood up from her makeshift shelter and briskly walked over to Jameson. She probably should have made more of an effort to cover herself on the way over, but being visibly concerned about the potential for attack from the enemy wasn't really her style. Besides, she kept a visual on him out of the corner of her eye in case he got ambitious.

"Are you good for round two? We're gonna have to give Magneto two targets to worry about."

The street was now completely deserted. That was all fine and dandy, she was a fan of keeping collateral damage to a minimum when possible. A guy that could emerge from an attack with that much of a blast radius with no visible scratches was a force to be reckoned with. What a way to start her first day back.

"A single, concentrated hit might work since the 'massive engulfing blast' approach doesn't seem very effective. If it's strong enough and aimed at the right spot, no amount of architectural metal can withstand it,"
she kept her voice low as she explained her theory. "Of course, you two seem well acquainted, so if you have a better plan..." Robyn brushed a hand over one of her seemingly empty gun holsters. "...if not, I'd rather keep my pot shots to a minimum to conserve ammo. If you provide cover, I can try and find the best place to hit him, but it might take some running around on my part unless this guy cooperates."

Did Jameson even know what she could do? The thought never crossed her mind. She'd disclosed her use of weapons, but didn't really go into detail on how the whole process worked. First battle with the "boss," maybe she'd even have fun with this. The familiar pre-fight feeling--a combination of anticipation, adrenaline, and a drive to defeat--began to build inside of her as the corner of her mouth curled up in confidence.

"Lead the way, Mr. Willicott."

"So much destruction..." Lavender commented as she approached the scene. The aeromancer was just having her usual night out, chilling out at a nearby cosplay-themed cafe with her usual favorite cakes and fruit tea until a crowd of terrified civilians just came running by, followed by the police trying to restore order and telling everyone to get as far away as possible. Needless to say, the owner of the establishment was among those who soon followed the warnings made by the police; and Lavender soon found herself alone as the owner and patrons ran for their lives. Indeed, anyone would've also followed suit - except that Lavender isn't simply anyone.

Pushing her way past the panicking crowds, first things first Lavender wanted to find out just who or what was responsible for ruining her evening like that. And logically, the best way to find out is to go against the flow of the crowd to see just where they are fleeing from. The aeromancer glanced over her shoulder at a police officer shouting at her, telling her it was not safe to continue towards where she was headed. A warning that the amethyst-haired aeromancer conveniently ignored, instead upping her ante by riding the wind and going airborne, deciding to take to the skies after tiring of having to push her way past panicky citizens and being accosted by police and rescue workers. Besides, at this point she was also starting to run into the first signs of carnage - overturned vehicles and massive hulks of debris that began to impede progress on foot. So why walk, when she could fly?

And that was when she saw him. Jameson - it didn't surprise the aeromancer to know that he'd get involved, and the guy standing in the middle of a molten crater probably played a hand in this. Lavender hadn't seen so much destruction in a long time... not since the Kingdom Hearts incident the last year, or the usual violence and stuff in Iraq... or most recently, the raid on the Wo-Shing hideout. Now that was a rather recent one. Landing next to Jameson, Lavender took a moment to size him up, taking note on the detective's condition - which currently is 'a little banged-up'.

"Run into any trouble Jameson?" Lavender asked as she balled up her fists, as miniature violet cyclones swirled around them, causing her hair and long skirt to rustle in the wind.

"Just a bit." Jameson said to Lavender without taking his eyes off the enemy. "This is it... the 'Hyakuji Effect'...." He said with a grin. He turned towards the man clenching his fists. "Get out of my way Shiko!" He said firmly.

"Heh... Shiko.. It's been a long time. Not since Cypriss disappeared... died. Not since he died have I heard it once." He reached deep, his muscles strained and the ground began to rumble and crack . He thrust both arms upwards before a large pipe burst through the ground spraying water and flooding the streets.

Using the distraction he darted out of the crater area back towards the gathered crowds and back to where there were more cars he hadn't already used up. He levitated one into the air crushing it before flinging it towards the flying aeromancer with an impressive force and speed. Meanwhile he formed several smaller steel bullets from a small piece he'd kept, firing them off rapidly at the other girl.

"Alright then. I'll provide cover. You get around where you can get a decent shot." Jameson said with a confident grin. In truth he wasn't all that sure of what else he could do without using overpsyche. But for now he'd at least try. This guy was by far the most powerful of the Johnson Eight. Jameson was secretly very glad he was fighting him here rather than on a submarine made entirely of metal. Either way this wasn't the time to be sitting here thinking. It was the time for ACTION. Jameson dashed forward towards the enemy.

Shiko pointed downwards using Jameson's pants zipper to drag his pants around his ankles.

Jameson tripped and fell. ".... Ow. Should have seen that one coming.." Jameson rose to his feet again and transformed his clothes using his Arcadia uniform into something a little more 'elastic band' and a little less 'zipper'.

A sudden hiss was heard was the water pipelines beneath the city streets rose out of the ground and burst open, spraying water all around and flooding the streets. The aeromancer caught a glimpse of their enemy transforming a car into a ball of scrap metal before sending it flying towards her like a cannonball. Ferromancy? Or magnetomancy? Whatever the case, she wasn't about to let herself get nailed by a 1-ton steel projectile traveling faster than a speeding Porsche. A violet-colored cocoon of air streams swirled around Lavender as she increased her speed, performing a barrel roll in midair to avoid the incoming projectile.

Being in the middle of a city clearly meant their adversary had a virtually unlimited supply of ammunition - they'd either have to find an opening whereby they can nail him with a single decisive strike, or get him far away - like the mountain or forest beyond the city outskirts where there is little to no metal for him to use. "Aerowhip!" Lavender called out as she pointed an outstretched right hand at Shiko. Lavender's aura flaring as four ribbon-like air streams streaked from her arm towards her adversary, aimed to coil around and immobilize his limbs and at the same time, to lift him off the ground.

Batter up! Lavender thought as she raised her left hand, cocking her arm back in readiness to throw a punch, as the swirling air streams around her hand gained speed and intensity, until her fist was encased within a violet cyclone. If her attempt to immobilize Shiko worked, the aeromancer would then follow up by diving in and attempting to throw a left uppercut!

"Time to get moving! That water pipe better not lead to my apartment..." she thought in mock concern as she jumped around some piles of debris to avoid the rush of water that hit the street. She looked up and saw the flying purple-haired girl lend a hand to the fight. While it was interesting to see someone who could fly, she wondered how far out Jameson's scope of relationships went as they seemed to know each other.

Having little concern for that, she focused on the task at hand. The other seemed able to avoid the flying car, but she was less fortunate as to have one giant piece to dodge. Instead, she quickly ducked behind a stray car in the street to nearly miss the barrage of makeshift bullets. At least it wasn't a rain of icicles or fireballs; dodging bullets was more up her alley of expertise. It seemed like their enemy didn't have a constant pull of metal, but instead had to focus on specific pieces so she should be fine drawing her weapons as long as she kept a low profile with them.

While the other girl served as a clever opportunity for Robyn to move in, she materialized one of her handguns and drew it out of its holster. She carefully moved around the side of the car and slowly navigated to another vehicle for cover. The girl held the gun out at arm's length in both hands and aimed over at the intended target, and as she did so, her right eye began to subtly glow with a blue hue.

Her self-generated aiming point became visible, but only to her, as she pointed it at the enemy. One of the downsides of this ability of pointing out weaknesses was that a moving target was difficult to scan, and he wasn't exactly immobile. Also, the further away they were, the less accurate identifying the exact spot was. Her current distance was too far away, causing her to curse under her breath and pull the weapon in closer to her body to prepare for movement.

Robyn looked over her shoulder to see where Jameson was and to see if he was covering her, and...

...his pants were around his ankles and he had apparently faceplanted.

Awesome.

The girl rolled her eyes and darted forward while he found himself a more suitable outfit, moving to a location opposite of the direction the metalmancer was facing while he duked it out with the third party. Robyn pulled her weapon out once she was settled behind another pile of building rubble and re-assumed her firing position. She dragged the aiming point over Shiko's exterior, hoping to locate his one vulnerable point.

"Come on, where the hell is it...hold the fort down a little longer, Jameson. And...whoever you are,"
she said quietly to herself while she focused on her target.

The man stood his ground as the whips moved in to ensnare him. In reality he wasn't afraid of being captured at all. He cocked back his fist, clenching his fingers tight as he gripped his hand into a tight ball.

He dropped his arm and lifted his hand with barely minimal effort. Forming a wall of steel from the scattered remains around him. A wall which she was rushing towards top speed. "Idiot." He said with a frown, rolling his eyes. Rushing in straight ahead. This city really was full of people with no skill. They always just reacted in the most obv-

Jameson pulled his trousers up and rushed in towards the enemy. Soggy, sore, and exhausted. Boy this day was off to a great start. He used his barrier out in front of him as a spring board to leaping into the air and come crashing down on top of the steal wall. He formed a second longer barrier so that Jen would slide along it over the wall and back up until she were crashing directly down on the enemy.

"An oldie but a goodie." He said locking eyes with the main and sending a mental assault into his mind to prevent him from concentrating on his elemancy. "Let's go girls. The ol' one two. Non lethal shots if possible. I'd like to ask him a few questions."

For a moment there it would appear that there was no stopping Lavender's incoming attack as her aerowhips ensnared her opponent; unless he possessed above normal human strength he would be finding himself bound to the spot - it would be as though his limbs were tied up and raised above the ground, essentially making him a sitting duck to an impending punch from Lavender whilst traveling at a high subsonic velocity, and at the instant her punch is thrown, a combination of aeromancy and the momentum of her dive could potentially accelerate her fist to mach speed. Needless to say, the aeromancer's plan was about to fail epically as she appeared set to crash into a wall of steel formed by Shiko.

There was no way Lavender could stop or make a sudden turn without sustaining serious damage from the G forces, so instead the aeromancer's eyes narrowed as her emerald pupils burned with the fires of resolve. No where else to go... but straight through, as Lavender's blood began pumping furiously - the sudden rush of adrenaline causing her to seemingly perceive her surroundings in slow-motion as she prepared to throw her punch - no longer readying an uppercut at her adversary, but instead an attempt to throw a straight punch in hopes of busting through his defensive barrier.

Of course, the catch is Lavender had never attempted to throw a punch against a defense at such speeds - and for a good reason; a high-speed collision between flesh and steel won't end well for the former; whether or not her punch could break through was not a concern to Lavender at this point, one thing she was thinking at this point is that she knew this was going to hurt her - badly. "Wha-" Lavender exclaimed as her flight path suddenly changed, sailing instead right over Shiko's defensive barrier and putting her on a collision course towards the man!

"Let's go girls. The ol' one two. Non lethal shots if possible. I'd like to ask him a few questions."

"Got it," Lavender thought as she appeared set to land right on top of Shiko - instead of readying a punch, Lavender simply continued forward in an attempt to tackle the ferromancer, hopefully in an attempt to either put him in a restraining lock or pain compliance hold, or to tackle him to the ground and mount him in an attempt to do a "ground and pound" maneuver.

"NON-lethal? That's going to change my game plan a bit..." Robyn felt the slight twinge of annoyance, reminding her of why she had such difficulty "playing well with others." Once she had an alley of attack set-up, she was not keen on following someone else's orders. However, the feeling died away as she realized it wasn't that big of a deal. If nothing else, it would actually help her conserve energy, and it meant her shots wouldn't have to be as strategically placed as she originally thought.

The two others maneuvering for physical hits against Shiko made an additional obstacle for her to fire around. Robyn's main experience was firing on people rushing toward her, not so much aiming precisely for hostage-like situations where she had to aim carefully between friend and foe. She'd contributed to the rescue of a few people here and there, but nothing much like tracking a super-powered fight up in the air.

Nonetheless, she didn't want this fight to take any longer than it had to, so while the main destructive force was occupied handling Jameson and the other girl, she kept a trained eye on his movements from behind. She had no idea how he manifested his power, whether it was some sort of psychic ability or if he needed his hands to control it. The shoulder was a good, non-lethal place to aim for as it would at least put one arm fairly out of commission for any sort of physical attacks.

Robyn built up a charge to her weapon and locked onto the enemy's right shoulder as best she could. The shot would be enough to tear through the flesh and bone, but not so strong as to blow his arm completely off like a shotgun. She squeezed the trigger and fired a blast of energy just before the other girl's attack made impact, hoping to at least throw him off balance so the aeromancer's offensive move would connect.

One unique aspect of her weaponry (aside from the fact that it didn't use bullets) was that no bullets meant no gunpowder, and no gunpowder meant no explosion to create the sound of a shot. This quality was extremely helpful in masking her position when necessary although some sort of a sound could be traced, especially if the shots got bigger.

The timing of her attack would make it so if the shot didn't connect with Shiko, it would pass through and miss hitting either of her counterparts unless they made a sudden (stupid) move into its path. Let's just hope they're keeping their eyes peeled.

As Lavender tackled the man at full force he was sent spwaling backwards, crashing had into the dirt and collapsing after a painful cracking sound. The bullet screamed through the air before erupting into his shoulder resulting in a spray of blood. The man lay still, groaning. Mental and physical pain coursing through his body.

Jameson cracked his knuckles as he moved towards the man. "Time to figure it out... all of it." His eyes took on a blue glow.

"I accept all of whom I am.."

"My courage that makes me strong.."

".... My fear..."

He hesitated. The fear.. The fear of using this and dying? Could he accept that? Leaving everyone behind again. It seemed once more he was falling into those same old habits. Using and abusing his body. Throwing his own life away. He was always ALWAYS going to wind up doing this wasn't her? Using the forbidden power that he knew would be the death of him..

Jameson had laid in the streets, blood dripped from his nose as he stared listlessly ahead. His nose was throbbing in pain from when he'd hit the concrete face first. His whole body felt numb. His eyes were blinded with searing white-hot pain. His entire body was useless. He couldn't feel much of anything. He was distant from it all. All he was aware of was the crimson pool forming in front of his eyes. And the very real possibility he'd die.

He'd only been saved then by the doctor. Even so he had used this power again against Xemnas. And then he'd come back from it all. Miraculously. He'd be saved and sent back and he swore to never use it again. But he HAD used it. Against Mastermind... He was always always tempted to use it. It was so... easy.

Jameson exhaled and his eyes stopped glowing. "I don't accept.. that part of me." He grabbed Shiko up by the collar before sending a right hook crashing into his face and sending him sprawling. "Who needs fancy powers, anyhow?!" He walked forward dragging the man up with one arm. Dragging him along the dirt before lifting him and slamming him into a wall. "Tell me everything about them!"

"Tch!" Shiko spat into Jameson's face. A mix of spit and blood. His face contorted with rage and pain.

Jameson narrowed his eyes and grit his teeth. "We don't have time for this!"

"..You're right. We don't." Shiko said with a frown. "Damn.. If you idiots hadn't gotten involved it'd all be over by now."

"Too bad." Jameson said pressing him into the wall. "We're involved."

"I was planning to stop Johnson on my own."

"..What...?" He motioned around them. "All this? You're telling me you did all this while planning to stop him?!"

"I couldn't let him figure it out. I had to kill you to maintain my cover until both the Liberty and the Zion were in one place so I could destroy both at once! He's been too careful."

"...The what and what?"

The man sighed shaking his head. "The Zion and Liberty! The Zion is our submarine. The Liberty is our ship. We developed the cloning facility on the Zion but a number of our scientists and their leader were on the Liberty. Destroy one and they still have the other! You have to eliminate both! Only NOW are both ships together! I was biding my time until now. I used a drug to artificially enhance my power. I planned to sink both at once. Then he ordered me to stay here.. I think he was onto me."

Jameson sighed heavily before it turned into a growl of rage and frustration. He cocked his hand back slamming it into the man's face sending him sprawling once more. "AUGHH! YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT! DO OYU KNOW HOW MUCH TIME YOU'VE COST US? HOW MUCH DESTRUCTION YOU CAUSED?!"

"I know.." He said before spitting blood and a tooth out. "Jesus.. God damned cripple." He said rubbing his jaw. "Listen all we can do now is go! I can still get us to them. And soon enough I'll be dead. So I'll pay the price for my crimes, no doubt. But there are bigger fish to fry.. Your people need to kn-"

Jameson grabbed him jerking him out the way as a bullet lodged itself into the ground. Jameson and Shiko turned at once.

Far away from the scene of the melee a man sat upon a nearby roof with a rifle. "So, I've been seen?" He said rising from his sniping position. "I guess I shouldn't have tried to snipe an empath."

He leaped off the roof, however as soon as he hit the ground he turned into a streak, crossing the distance in an instant before slamming his fist right into Jameson' face and causing him to fly backwards. But before Jameson even impacted the man grabbed him by the collar zipping away with him at top speeds..

Shiko groaned sliding against the building. "Damn.. Damn..." He turned to the other two. "We need.. .The psychic... We need to get a message to his.. crew.. Do any of you know any way to contact them..?" He said groaning as he held his side, wincing in obvious pain from ribs that were likely broken.

Dangerously Cheesy.
Robyn watched both attacks connect with their intended target and, to be honest, she was surprised. She frowned and blinked in disbelief, standing up from where she'd positioned herself behind the rubble and lowered her gun arm to her side.

"Well, that was easy."

Even easier than that, Jameson had taken over grabbing the guy by the collar and punching him a good deal until he started to talk. Not bad for someone with a limp and one eye. Robyn made her way over to the small group, keeping a focused eye on the one guy in case he made any sudden movements. Strangely enough, he didn't. For someone who endured a gigantic attack, she expected a bit more. Maybe he was just good at pretending to not be hanging by the last string of his life.

She listened carefully to what dialogue was being exchanged between the two, and little of it made sense. It was obvious to her that there was a bigger picture, likely one that had its roots set in long before she came to Hyakuji. While she wasn't exactly sure who was who, it was apparent that there was a central bad guy and "he" was being targeted by both Jameson and this other crazy guy.

The gun shot caused Robyn to duck instinctively, but before she had a chance to move to cover, the perpetrator made himself know. Good Lord, another one? It was enough to make her wonder if Jameson had more enemies than friends. She saw the individual jump from the top of a building, immediately drawing her firearm and pointing it in his direction. This guy was hostile, and...extremely fast.

As soon as he darted toward the group, she fired off a shot but he was faster than her reflexes and aiming abilities combined. Thus, she was little help in preventing Jameson from getting sucker-punched right in the face. Feeling a sudden urge to give this guy a taste of his own medicine, Robyn lunged forward after he landed the blow, but to her dismay the two seemed to disappear before her eyes and she was left attempting to tackle a gust of wind. She stumbled a step or two and clenched the hand holding her weapon even tighter in frustration.

"Goddammit..."

She looked over at the remaining two groupies, one she hardly felt she could trust, and the other she didn't even know (though was fairly convinced she was on her side). What a predicament.

"We need.. .The psychic... We need to get a message to his.. crew.. Do any of you know any way to contact them..?"

Robyn was at a loss for words. Psychic? Who the hell was he talking about? There were probably at least a dozen psychics in Hyakuji alone...but maybe she could make the safe assumption that it was someone tied to Jameson.

...Except it seemed like everyone in the damn city was tied to Jameson in some way. That wasn't going to narrow the search anytime soon.

Then she recalled the personnel files that she had "accidentally happened upon" and glanced through one day while hanging out at the Agency. One of them had to be a psychic...it was nagging at the back of her head. Didn't Monty have some sort of cognitive abilities? But even if he did, how the hell were they going to contact him, or any of them for that matter?

"I have no idea where anyone is...I got lucky even running into Jameson. And I'm far from being anything close to psychic. The only means of contact I have is a cell phone." Robyn looked over at the other female counterpart to see if she knew any information, or if she just happened to be a friendly bystander who wanted to lend a hand. "Is there anyone left at the Agency?"

"Bloodstains - they're a pain to get off clothing!" Lavender groaned as she got up after the other girl landed a shot on her opponent's shoulder, and due to their close proximity it was inevitable that the aeromancer received a few blood splatters from Shiko. Lavender stood aside as Jameson took over, grabbing the man by the collar and giving him a good punch in the face. As if having a gimp leg and one eye wasn't enough, this was a Jameson that had been pretty worn out by the earlier fight. "...Jameson?" Lavender queried as the detective began bleeding at the nose again - one of the telltale signs of having overtaxed his psychic abilities. Zion and Liberty? The other man mentioned something about a submarine and a ship, as well as a cloning facility.

Lavender threw herself to the ground as soon as she heard the gunshot, only to see Jameson push Shiko to the ground, narrowly avoiding a bullet that was either meant for him, or the ferromancer. But before the aeromancer could react, whoever that had just fired the shot had already reached the ground and surprised the detective with a sucker punch at superhuman speeds. He's fast! Lavender thought as the other girl fired a shot at the blurred figure, only to miss - he was at least as fast as herself, if not slightly more so, possibly even as fast as Chizu.

And in the fraction of a second it took for Lavender to process what had just happened and before it crossed her mind to give chase, he was gone - and along with him, Jameson. Psychic? Lavender cocked her head as Shiko spoke up. "I'm afraid I don't know any psychic that might fit your description," Lavender sighed, being at her wits' end. Wait... didn't Jameson change into his Arcadia uniform just now? The aeromancer focused her thoughts, attempting to reach out to Jameson. "Jameson, Jameson! Can you hear me?" Lavender relayed her thoughts.

"I'm heading over to the agency to find out," Lavender commented - word had gotten around town about the detective agency set up by Jameson, and even if the aeromancer hadn't had any interactions with the WDA she still remembered the place's address from a name card. That being said, the aeromancer began to take to the skies again, rising on a downdraft of air that appeared as a swirling violet disc beneath her feet, looking towards Robyn and Shiko one last time to see if either of them have any objections.

"Wait wait. Jameson's not the most important thing right now!" Shiko spat. "Didn't you just hear me?! I need to get in contact with his crew." Shiko said dragging himself to his feet and lurching forward painfully. He placed a hand against a wall leaning heavily.

"The two ships are what's important. There's a second vessel which is going to take Johnson away to a secret island where he'll never be found. They have to destroy both the ship AND the submarine or else this was all for nothing! There's a scientist on the submarine named Leon Gingrich. They have to eliminate him or everything they did today accomplished nothing!"

He coughed, collapsing to one knee. "The two ships... They were a safety measure. The Zion had all the technology on it. The Liberty had the scientist on it. If one was destroyed the other had a backup. The sub is destroyed the scientist could rebuild the technology. If the scientist died the sub could clone another! That was their plan! They made it impossible to destroy them by having a failsafe system."

"They are planning to sink the submarine in the ocean where no one but their underwater agent torrent could access it. Then if they ever need the tech they can go salvage it. And if they all die new clones will automatically be generated under the ocean in that submarine and those clones will be teleported to the surface when complete. It's a flawless system. The ONLY chance we'll get to stop it is right now! We destroy both the sub and the ship in this final chance where they're together and we win. So it's VITAL we send this message!"
