He felt kinda bad having to leave poor little Haien to be cuddled to death by Ru, but since they were too busy with their own business he decided to go on with what they originally had in mind. After a quick trip to the infirmary, he took the half-dragon to an adventure around the school to get the new student use to the scenery. By the way, considering what kind of school this is, claiming a school tour as an adventure is not an understatement. Along the way they could see various students flocking around here and there, going about their after-school business. Seeing lightnings and fireballs whizzing past their heads is not unusual. Or perhaps floating mechanical drones and flying little dragons, to high tech looking screens and summoning magic fields, those he originally thought was never possible was possible. There's practically everything here. Here, nothing is impossible. "Welcome to Hyakuji," He said with a smile. |

It appeared that Sikura would be the only one receiving the tour in the end, but that wasn't necessarily her fault. What she was worried about was if this boy, Seth, would really turn out to be a wolf. They had stopped by the nurses office, where she got patched up, and even got some new, better, bandages on her hands and arms. Feeling much better, Sikura followed the boy in mostly silence, simply observing. She had to admit the people here were definitely more... dangerous than back home. What a double edge sword this would be. The horned girl honestly wasn't sure whether she should be relieved or terrified. On the one hand, she would probably not have to worry about ki... repeating that incident. But at the same time, she might be the one ending up dead if a predator took the abuse too far... Sikura shuddered a little bit eying the other students suspiciously as she passed. Normally one should be amazed that such things could even exist, but normally one wouldn't be an element-less half-dragon. The technology was did pique her interest a little, but she was, to be perfectly honest, a bit too worried about the other 'powers' and 'abilities' on display. "Welcome to Hyakuji," "Th-thank you." Sikura said softly, her gaze sweeping over the other students occasionally as she slowly started to wish she were back home... just a little bit. |

While everything around them are all bright and happy, he couldn't help but notice her less than cheerful attitude. While it's not exactly out of place to see gloomy amd grumpy new students, Seth couldn't help but feel a twinge of concern to anyone whom exhibits anxiety or fear. Particularly this half-dragon next to her. It's not that hard to notice (with the help of V). Her wary glances towards the others, silent and reserved along the way from the infirmary, yeah. As much as he wanted to know more about her, he's learned enough not to pry too deep into personal matters. Let's just go ahead and enjoy the tour, shall we? "As you can see, this place is pretty big. Going on foot, we probably can't even cover half the school for today," He said, slowing down his pace to match her short steps. "Any place you want to see first in particular?" "... Is there anything wrong?" What? He can't help himself. He just wouldn't feel good when there's someone being downright terrified right besides him. Edited by Fin, Jan 28 2011, 03:30 AM.

At this particular moment, Sikura realized one important fact. The way she had been going on would most likely have to change. Not that she had any idea how to go about that. She couldn't just start letting things go, no no no. There was no telling what would happen if she even attempted that. But she more than likely wouldn't be able to just resist damage as she'd done in the past... Well, she could always rely on running away right? Sikura's thoughts on the matter were interrupted as Seth spoke, saying how they probably wouldn't be able to cover half of the school due to how big it was then asking if there was anywhere she wanted to see first. She supposed she should find out where her classes were first, but at the same time she didn't want to go inside again just yet. But again, before she could finish her train of thought, the boy spoke again asking if there was anything wrong. Now here was something else to think about. Should she just go on and tell the truth? Or should she lie? "W.. with such power..." She frowned a little bit glancing out at the students warily. "I don't want to die." 'How selfish...' The frown deepened a little for a moment before she shook her head before speaking barely above a whisper. "I... c-can't..."'Won't' "defend myself..." |

Ack. Oh boy. Not again. He was pretty sure it happened once before, someone breaking down right in front of him. Well, not really breaking down, more like sulking, that boy did. But this half-dragon girl right in front of him was definitely showing signs of depression and, and... uh... Well, just say that whatever it was that was troubling her, it was greatly troubling the tour guide as well. "Uh... uhm..." Great, greatgreatgreat. Now look what you did. You decided to poke into another person's personal matter (again) and you've awakened some dark and terrible memories they never wanted to remember. This is really kinda like what Oliver told you about. Well, that's not important right, now. As much as he wanted to dig deeper into her personal life (what are you, a creeper?), the bigger part of his brain was telling him to, to... deal with the problem first. Whatever the problem was supposed to be... "We-well... see, you... you don't have to worry about... uh... dying here," That's it? "If... uh... Don't worry! Yeah, you don't have to be scared! Uhm... if there's anything that tries to hurt you, I'll protect you! Yeah." ...Idiot. Truly. An idiot. |
