"HUP!" A fist flew through the air at high speed.

"HAH!"
Downward heel strike, aimed for the head.

"TOH-HA!" An elbow towards the mid-riff, followed by a knee strike.

It continued as such, Izumi River dealing blows after blows at the imaginary enemy he's facing, quickly and surely crippling him down to a lump of big red meaty chunk with bits of bones everywhere. Not exactly an impossible feat for someone three times stronger than any normal human.

Once again he repeated the movements, again and again, sweating himself out, his hood flapping about as he threw blows after blows everywhere he could reach, his silvery white hair plastered to his forehead, warming himself up in the cold-but-not-that-cold winter atmosphere. Yeh. Nothing quite enjoyable as warming yourself up right before some ass-whooping showdown, uh... I mean... some Butt-Kicking Arts class...

Uh...

Right...

He just arrived early, that's all. His class for this period happens to be Martial Arts, so he headed straight to the Athletic Field right after the first period. Lo and behold, there's no one here. Fuming slightly at the utter lateness of the teacher and the others, he decided to do some warming up before they get to business.

"HUAAA!!" A speedy roundhouse kick, delivered to smash the ribcage of his imaginary ene-

SMASH!!!

"Ack. Uh-oh."
He stared at his foot, now implanted in the wooden wall. Apparently he got a bit too excited about beating up some people he didn't realize he'd gotten waaay at the edge of the hall. He withdrew his legs, staring at the foot-shaped hole on the wall for a moment before dismissing it. "Not my fault. They should have spent money to make this place bigger," Apparently he didn't know about the money crisis the school was having.

"Oh today I start teaching~ Today I start teaching~ Today, today is when I start teaching~"

Cerium had a certain bounce in her step. Not that kind you people-things. Just a certain jubilation about going to class. Albeit tht first official class she was attending. She'd been rather lazy about it before and it had taken a bit of a talking to from Nickle to get some sense into her. She was actually rather excited about it now. She wished it could have been an outdoor session, she preffered field training after all. However such was life and winter was a cold hearted-

"Ara? Someone's already here." said Cerium looking inside the gym at the boy with his foot stuck in the wall. She went in side, he hips swaying, "You've got a lot of spirit, but your principle is all wrong. Maximum effect with minimum movement." She stood loking at Izumi, her finger touching her cheeck. The boy might not have been expecting anyone to show up given the recent stream of teacherless gym periods. However Cerium was here now, dressed in a pair of white sneakers, tight fitting track-suit pants and a white tank top.

Her katana hung by her side, although right now it looked more like a nodachi. She'd been fooling around with it earlier and hadn't returned it to normal. She went up to the wall, examing the the damage Izumi had done before looking at him sweetly, "You'll stay after school to fix that, mkay? And no skipping, or else I'll fiiiiind you~" Cerium then turned away from him and took several paces to the front of the gym area and then looked over her shoulder, "Seeing as you're a good student and came earlier, Sensei will correct your mistake."

Cerium's feet shifted, legs apart, with left leg more forward than the right. The right leg shifted in a perfect horizontal line until its kneecap was resting exactly behind the left leg's knee. Cerium then pivoted around very quickly, raising and extending her right leg up into the air and kicking out to a point above her head. Izumi would feel a rush of wind move past his ear from the force of the kick, but of course no damage was done. Cerium then lowerd his foot and place her hands on her hips and grinned.

"Remember, it's all in the hips~!" to which she promptly started gyrating her pelvis from side to side.

"Class is in session! Cerium Ryuko-sensei will make you stronger than before!"

         I hate Science Class.
Come to think about it, I hate every class except cooking.
         Freaks, freaks, and more freaks.
Everyone seems to have some sort of crazy abilities.

Oh well, but I guess you don't like your classes, either, right?
Especially Martial Arts, it would seems, you have been complaining about Sensei every time you meet Selene-San and me. Well, he does sounds a but nutty, but call Master Yun Sensei a middle age lunatic with none of his screw tighten is really too much.
Actually, strange for you to be complaining about Martial Arts, aren’t you a Martial Artist? So, Master Yun Sensei's style is just not for you, I see.

"This sucks." You commented as you dragged your feet towards the Field, "what drove the school to hired that madman for their Martial Arts Teacher? I just don’t understand." Now, Yume-Chan, it's not nice to make negative comments on our teacher's sanity, right?

Hey! It's the teacher announcing the start of the Session, Yume-Chan, be quick.
Wait, that's a ladies' voice, had Master Yun learned a Gender-Blending Martial Arts or something?
"A ladies' voice" you commented, with a smile, just what makes you so happy all of a sudden? "So they finally got ride of that middle age pervert, hope this new mentor is a good one!" You got exited and ran into the field.

"Sorry I'm late, Sensei." You reported to the beautiful girl who seems to be the new Martial Art teacher, now that's what I call an upgrade, she's really pretty. "My name is Xia Zhimeng," you introduced yourself, "But Sensei can call me Yume-Chan if you want." And smiled.

Kaze sprinted her way to the Athletic Field. Oh boy! It was this class again--Martial arts. How can she ever forget this particular special class? First class meeting and she got to fly after getting quite a humiliating hit from one of those knights that Grand Master Yun made them face. Lets also add that she FAILED (emphasis on the fail part) to take out her sword from the ground while one girl from the entire class managed to pull it out without trouble. So yeah, this class is pretty much implanted on her brain.

"Oh no. I'm NOT failing again." She told herself, determined to make up for what happened the first time.

Her blood boiled with excitement as she finally reached the field. She scanned for a little while until she found some of her classmates. She dashed towards them and immediately looked for master Yun. Oh...so...he is not around? but wait, there is a female instructor present. Could she have taken his place?
"Kaze Mizuki Aikawa, present sensei." She introduced herself. She glanced at her two classmates and nodded once in greeting. Just in time..class was about to start. Yosh! Time to put up or shut up!

Well, NOW they decided to come. Perhaps the word 'late' doesn't exist in their dictionary, eh? He's very tempted to tell them off for being late to class, but for some reason, the rush of wind fom earlier caused by the teacher's demonstration somehow paralyzed his brain for a bit. JUST A BIT THOUGH. He's not the kind of guy to be scared of a little show-off kick.

By the way, where's the rest of the class? He can't be the only guy in a class full of girls.

... Not complaining.

But still, he really hoped that more would show up. That way there's more chance of finding some really strong people for him to challenge. Although, someone like that Hiro guy might prove to be a little bit too much. Meh.

"Right, right. So the teacher's here, can we start the class now?" Perhaps it needs to be reminded that he's not the kind of guy to care about common courtesy?

Cerium looked around, seeing that only two more students had showed up. Ah well, the number of students wasn't important. She remebered her high school days of playing hookey. Ah youth~
Still! For those who had decided to show up she wasn't gonna let them slack off! Besides, more still could show up. "I'm not going to call you lot anything as of yet! If you want names then you need to show me your stuff! As of right now, you are all just rocks! Rocks that need to be chisseled into wonderous heroic statues!" This was martial arts after all, it was all about strengthing the body.

Once the body was strengthened, then it would only be natural for the mind to be able to cope with any punishment that followed. Cerium began walking towards the students, he hand resting lazily on the hilt of her katana, "Because you've been trained by Master Yun to some degree this year, I assume you all at least know basic martials arts stances and movements. Therefore, because it is your first class, we are going to take it a little slower."

Cerium whistled and through the door appeared, well it looked like a metal version of her! Cerium snapped her fingers and the several blobs of metal were extracted from the metal woman's body, forming around the students arms, ankles and necks in the shape of metal rings. They were only 3 kilograms each, not uch extra weight, but in due time, it was going to get heavier. If the students noticed, the same metal rings were also on Cerium's body. "We shall start with form basics, just to make sure you haven't been slacking off. Follow my movements."

Cerium dropped into a starting position, feet apart, knees slightly bent, chin up and arms at her side, "Oh, by the way, it is in your own interest to keep up. You don't want to get stabbed." Cerium then began to move in the following combination. Right punch, left punch, right punch, left punch, round house kick, double punch, roundhouse kick and double punch again.

"Those are the movements, now keep up!" Several metal orbs now floated around the participants of the class. At each movement, an orb would fire out a long, thin metal spike. If the particular body part was not where it was meant to be or lagged behind, well let's just say the speed of the movement could be the difference between getting no cut at all to being partially stabbed. However, Cerium was leading by example, anything the students went through, she would as well.

Meanwhile.... Towards the back of the class...

Hyakuji's sophomore from the countryside, the one with the dark skin and a flower in her hair, quickly fell into their instructor's stance in response to the teacher's stabbing warning,
"OOooo craaaazy! Just like Ol' Grandmaster Yun, in't she? Eheh!" Fuu whispered ecstatically to her neighbor, and probably would have nudged them too if she wasn't so caught up with all this fancy metal-ring gear.
"Um.... He wasn't crazy. He wasn't even old -- ow!!" They hissed back.
"Woops am I distracting you?" She spoke between movements, keeping her eyes on the teacher... who wasn't too bad to look at, Fuu noticed. "I wonder if she recognizes me, eheh! Especially now that I'm wearing pants, ya--"

There was a thud, which Fuu couldn't really see what had happened out of her peripheral vision at the moment until the class had slowly moved onto the next stance which let her throw a glance over her shoulder. "Oh there you went! Did you know you just fell over? Eheh!"

"This is a bit on the light side, I more used to 20 or 30 Kg," you comment to your self in a very small volume as you put on the metal rings, "well, seems we are going to do something sane today, great." And then you smiled.
And then you started following Cerium's movement as the metal orbs fires metal spikes.
        Hey! These orbs are dangerous!

Kaze focused her eyes on the new instructor, trying to familiarize herself with the movements. Right punch. left punch. another right punch, then left. a round house kick, double punch, roundhouse kick and double punch once again. Alright! Kaze began to execute the specific moves, trying to be as careful as she can. Those spike-firing orbs weren't a joke. This task needed to be as close to perfect.

"Yosh, watch your angle." She said to herself, glancing once at the orb that was floating around her.

Let's see... three, plus two on the wrists... nine, plus two on the ankles... fifteen. Not too shabby, but not that great either. All in all it totals up to fifteen kilograms. He grinned smugly as he swung his loaded hand around like a windmill. This training weights are nothing compared to what he goes through everyday. Being able to live normally in an environment of three times the normal Earth gravity made these metal shackles feel like babies toys. He sighed once before taking on the demonstrated stance. This is seriously dull. How the heck can you improve in fighting when all you have to do is punch the air?

Even as he said that, he still performed as he was told.

Right jab, left jab, right, left, roundhouse kick, double punch, roundhouse, roundhouse-

...wait...

The metallic blob of air hovering behind him convulsed, and shot out a single spike of metal right at him. Struck by a sudden realization, without even bothering to look, he immediately flung his right hand back, placing the metallic shackle in the way of the incoming giant needle, deflecting the attack with a fairly loud CLANG! ... Phew. That was close. "Hah! Think you can surpass me?" He said with a wide smirk.

Cerium smiled. Even though some of them hadn't gotten it entirely right they were at least able to get through the routine. Cerium then smiled broadly and clapped her hands, the metal blobs came back towards her. "Very well done on the warm-ups everyone! I must say I am impressed to say the least. But now we can get down to the real stuff." She pointed to the one side of the hall, "Everyone! Take your positions! Hajime!"
She waited for them to get into place before moving in front of them, holding the hilt of her sheathed katana like some kind fo cavalry captain.

"The important thing about martial arts is being able to take on any opponant and figure out their weakness. Now I know I said I'd take it slow on you, but to be perfectly honest, I'm bored with that~" The sweetness in her voice was enough to induce a toothache, "And in anticipation of my own boredom, I've decided to let you lot have some really decent opponants to battle!" Cerium then stuck her two figners in her mouth and gave a loud whistle.

The ground would then begin to shake as a series of massive forms came through the doors of the gym. Towering well over a meter above most of the pupils, stood a small heard of minotaurs. Cerium beamed, "These are the Tauren, mighty earth spirts that the Elemancer tower is letting my borrow for the purpose of this class. They might not have much technique, but they're strong enough to punch you clean through a wall~ Don't mess them up too badly, otherwise I'm gonna have to answer to Ryuko-sensei at the tower~" As a note, every student was still wearing their shackles.

With a loud battlecry, the tauren charged forward, their hooves shaking the ground. It was going to be a one on one battle with each student getting their own tauren to battle. "This is gonna be fun! And I'll be giving you all pointers along the way! Heeheehee~"

As a note, the Tauren are not made of earth, they're just earth spirits, like guardians if you will.

"Oho! OHOHOHOHO!!! NOW THIS IS MORE LIKE IT!!!" Yelled out Izumi, positively delighted that they're going to do something more beneficial (and fun. Though how being attacked by a minotaur considered fun is anyone's guess) than some stupid moves practice. Anyone can punch, anyone can kick. But not everyone can take on a two meter tall minotaur. Well. That's something you don't see everyday.

Well, whatever. The main point here is to knock the crap out of them. He crouched slightly, glaring right into the eyes if the one charging madly right at him with a glint, his mouth curling upwards slightly as adrenalin was pumped throughout his entire body. Nyahaha~ So thrilling. There's no time to enjoy the moment, though, as the thundering of its hooves gets louder and louder, forming more and more hoof-shaped holes on the wooden floor of the compound they're training in.

It got close, too close, in fact, that Izumi could practically touched it if he extended his arm forward just a little bit. But who the hell wants to stay in their path and gets themselves trampled to death? Not him, no way. With the ground shaking, deafening roars of the minotaur slamming on his eardrums, he made his move. A bluish magic circle appeared under him, glowing brightly, reducing the gravity in its perimeter to a quarter of the Earths gravity. Without waiting for the minotaur to take another step forward, he jumped. High. Aided by the Fractional Gravity Circle, he managed to jump right over the minotaur without much of an effort, lightly landing on its shoulder. As he sat down on the swaying shoulder-ride, he raised his right hand up high, a circular magic barrier formed over his knuckle glowing a bright yellowish-brown, indicating the high strength of the Physical Barrier. "Sorry. Sensei told us to beat you up," Not even hesitating, he brought the fist down hard and fast, the barrier should serve its purpose to amplify the damage.

"Oh no." you commented, you hate opponents with Earth elemental attacks.
Since fire assists earth, your fire based martial arts is weakness to useless against opponents of Earth Elemental origins.
Without anything plans at hand, you started running away from the monster chasing after you, you just need more time to think.

If Fuu had a game face she'd be wearing a determined brow and cocky smirk, much like that Rivers kid down in front. But the girl appeared to have left it in the trunk for today, because when faced with a barrage of menacing magical creatures, all the girl could do was grin a happy smile that reached her ditzy looking eyes.

"Hellooo Mister Tourist!" She spoke gleefully, adjusting her knockers in her push up bra calling the teacher, "Ryuko-sensaaaayyyy. We're allowed to use our powers, ya?"

.... Despite everybody in the class already having to leap into action.

See? Being at the back of the classroom has all the advantages after all! Although she had a bit more time to react, Fuu wasn't the most strategic of the Martial Arts students. Even as the bull mutants continued plowing through the area, the school girl stayed silent, focused, facing the one coming right at her and....

PUNCHED her fist into her palm!!!........ then bowed to her opponent.

Kaze stood still, watching as the tauren rushed towards all of them. The other students who were with her already made their moves and in a little while, she was gonna have to move as well. The minotaur that was closing in on her had furious eyes and she could feel the aggressive energy of the beast.

With a slight smirk, she prepared herself for the incoming attack. Blue aura began to appear and cover both of her legs. This was the perfect time to use wind walk against a huge and brute opponent. These Earth guardians are physically power but not so much when it comes to speed.

The minotaur, already close enough for an attack, raised both of its arm and slammed it down in an attempt to crush her. Fortunately, Kaze was able to slide to her left to avoid the hit. The ground trembled because of the minotaur's blow and it's arms plunged deep into the ground. Kaze took this opportunity to land a hit on the over-sized bull. she got behind the minotaur and gathering all of her energy, she sent a powerful kick to the back of the beast's knees.
