Jameson dashed down the streets. He was in his typical getup for cases. Thick black boots and black jeans with a white button down. his vest was swapped out for a black trench coat that hunk to his knees. All topped off with his signature crisp white fedora with a black band. This kind of white and black outfit outlined his views on life perfectly. At least they did at one time. Perhaps a modern adaptation would have just a little more gray in it.

Maybe a tie?

HAH. As if he was ever going to wear a tie like a goddamned desk monkey. No, he belonged out here on the streets. Black gloved hands balled into a fist and holding his hat respectively. Legs pounding the pavement as his heart raced in his chest. Adrenaline and unbridled joy pumping through his veins in equal amounts. His whole body was pushing to it's limits. Even if his bad knee was throbbing. Even if his lungs were burning. Even if his muscles ached..

In his limits he approached a state that felt fully alive. This was the best. He was having a great time.

He took a turn, sliding to a crouch before spotting the suspect. First with his mental powers then with his one good eye. He darted forward crossing the street perilously. Cars slammed their brakes and yelled insults but Jameson had no time to consider this sort so triviality. Who had time to think about following the LAWS when there was CRIME TO PUNCH.

Either way he took the street before it emptied into a large open area.. too many minds all crowding him at once.. the guy was near but he couldn't pinpoint his location. He grit his teeth dashing around looking quickly.. He had to be there..

Daisaku sauntered through the streets of Hyakuji with a sort of lackadaisical stride, his hands slid nonchalantly into his pockets and his gaze shifted slightly upward to get a better look at the clear, blue skies above. Having become accustomed to fending almost entirely for himself over the past year, such concepts as regular excursions to the grocery store had become almost totally alien to the young man. However, if his experience thus far had been any indication, it was nothing if not a viable excuse to get out of his dormitory and into the heart of the city. As he marched along without a care in the world, Daisaku whistled a decidedly laid-back tune whose origin he couldn't quite place his finger on. After a while, however, he stopped, let out a deep sigh, and looked around to get a feel for how close he was to the store. If nothing else, he looked to be the very picture of complacency; just a pleasant youth enjoying a stroll downtown.

That being said, all it took to snap Daisaku out of this relaxed state was the interruption of a rather familiar face. As he rounded a corner and neared his destination, the boy caught sight of a rather energetic detective making a mad dash down the street. He immediately identified this super sleuth as none other than Jameson, the Fourth Year he had encountered the day he arrived at Hyakuji. Despite remembering him walking with a cane, however, the man sprinted about frantically with the speed of a trained athlete. Clearly fueled by little more than adrenaline and pure spirit, Jameson rushed off as though in search of something or- more likely, given his profession- someone. Daisaku saw him slide into a crouching position behind cover before scoping out the surrounding area with incredible attention to detail. Once satisfied with his thorough surveillance of the city streets, Jameson darted across the street without a moment's hesitation, causing no small amount of disarray in the process.

Intrigued by this turn of events, Daisaku was already grinning with anticipation of just what his friend was up to. Without so much as giving it a second thought, the Spiral was off in pursuit of the detective, throwing the busy street into further chaos as he chased after the man. Though his powers were dormant at the moment, the young man's athleticism was still nothing to shake a stick at. Having started out fresh, Daisaku quickly caught up with Jameson, looking every bit as eager to serve up some justice despite not knowing who, exactly, the sleuth was going after. "Jameson! Fancy meeting you here!" Daisaku said brightly as the two sprinted side-by-side. "I don't suppose you could use a hand with whatever it is you're up to?"

Jameson spotted Daisaku. Damn, Jameson didn't have time for his friend in JUSTICE today. He was extremely busy with not dying or letting the criminal get away. Not to mention that he had to stay focused on where this guy was. "Tch... no time to talk!" Jameson said catching the guy. Their eyes met and immediately the chase resumed.

They took off at top speed but both were obviously showing their wear. That's when the obvious answer occurred to Jameson. He shouldn't BLOW OFF the boy, he should RECRUIT him! Maybe Daisaku could catch him faster? Daisaku was fresh and not exhausted. This was basically a brilliant idea. "HEY YOU, COME ON!" He shouted back at the boy as he rushed off towards the suspect.

He waited for him to catch up, speaking between panting breaths. "THIS GUY. BAD THING. EVIL. NEED TO CATCH." He said pointing to the man before slowing up and grabbing his knees, panting heavily.. Daisaku could catch him.. He was confident of that. Meanwhile Jameson had bigger issues.

Like the crippling pain in his leg that sent him to the ground with a contorted expression.

Though Jameson initially seemed to be blowing Daisaku off, the perplexed Spiral quickly pieced together the details of the situation. His super sleuth comrade was visibly focused on catching his prey and, in fact, appeared to have the target in his sights when Daisaku arrived on the scene. Eager as he was to punch some burning justice into the hearts of criminals everywhere, he saw the logic inherent in Jameson's train of thought. After all, Daisaku's methods were far from subtle, whereas the world's greatest detective most definitely possessed a myriad of techniques for subduing even the sneakiest of villains without even the slightest detection. He saw Jameson lock eyes with his prey and, after a stare down so brief that Daisaku nearly blinked and missed it, the chase was back on with the detective in hot pursuit of this wrongdoer. "Get'em, Jameson! Give him a taste of your unbeatable fighting spirit!" He called out enthusiastically to the detective.

However, it soon became clear that both of them were suffering from fatigue. If only because of his bad leg, Jameson was beginning to slow down, whereas the perpetrator of the undoubtedly-heinous crime was breathing rather heavily, as well. It was at this point that the sleuth decided to make use of Daisaku's services and recruit him to his crusade. "HEY YOU, COME ON!" He shouted. Immediately, the Spiral focused on the detective, standing at attention with a fiercely determined glare as he awaited further instructions. "THIS GUY. BAD THING. EVIL. NEED TO CATCH." Daisaku's trusted ally shouted out between heaving, exhausted breathes, hunched over out of sheer fatigue. Lazily, he lifted his arm up and pointed at the escaping villain. "Evil?" Daisaku cracked his knuckles as his eyes slowly turned green. "Say no more."

With a small, quick burst, Daisaku activated his Spiral Energy. A faint aura of shifting colors formed around him, casting even the darkest alleys of Hyakuji in a brilliant display of pure, unadulterated fighting spirit. The front of his hair had also changed to its characteristic shade of gold, signifying that his transformation was complete. Displaying a marked increase in focus, Daisaku gauged the distance between himself and his target. Once he got a good estimation in-mind, the boy disappeared from plain sight, leaving behind not so much as an after image. As though he had teleported to his destination, Daisaku instantly reappeared in front of the criminal. Despite charging into the boy in full sprint, the man bounced harmlessly off as though he had hit a wall of solid titanium. With a confident smirk, Daisaku grabbed the man by his shirt with one hand and hoisted him off the ground.

"I think that's far enough." He stated before driving the man into the ground with just enough force to render him unconscious.

The man was forced to the ground. He slid along slamming into the hard concrete. Meanwhile Jameson darted after them at a slower pace. His knee was throbbing but it was nothing Jameson couldn't handle. He'd been through a lot of hell in his life and this knee had never stopped him then. If he allowed injuries to set his pace then he'd never be able to accomplish anything.

Either way he moved along behind the boy as he tackled the man. "Be careful.." Jameson said with a frown. "This man has connections to Gaia Memory distribution... Which likely means.." Jameson spotted it too late...

The man had a USB in his right hand pressed into his leg..

MASQUERADE.

The man transformed, his body was covered in a hard black substance. A mask formed over his face. His strength and resiliency increased by threefold. While not much to the duo of super powered teens. With the aspect of surprise it might be enough for him to send one clean kick into his pursuant's gut and escape.

Which is exactly what he was attempting.

"Be careful..." Jameson said cautiously as he approached Daisaku and the unconscious criminal. "This man has connections to Gaia Memory distribution... Which likely means.." However, he cut himself off before he could adequately explain the situation to the young vigilante. Of course, Daisaku had absolutely no idea what the Gaia Memory distribution was, but he could only imagine that it was nothing good. Judging from his rather concerned expression, Jameson seemed to have spotted something of considerable importance, leaving Daisaku to try and locate it through his own powers of observation. He examined the man in search of anything out of the ordinary that might clue him in to the nature of this organization- perhaps a tattoo or a marking of some sort on his skin. Unfortunately for the Spiral Warrior, he didn't find what he was looking for until it was too late.

Daisaku caught sight of what appeared to be a USB in the perpetrator's hand just as he inserted it into his leg. He immediately underwent a strange transformation into a masked figure covered from head-to-toe in what appeared to be black armor. Despite having been knocked out scarcely one minute earlier, the man was instantly rejuvenated by the bizarre device. While Daisaku was still processing what had just occurred, he leaped to his feet and, catching his pursuer off-guard, delivered a powerful kick to the young man's gut. Despite his incredible resilience, Daisaku was slightly staggered by the attack, suggesting strength at least slightly beyond the normal limitations of a human being.

Though he managed a quick recovery, this slight hesitation was all the criminal needed to make his escape. Not wasting a second against the two superhuman teenagers, he darted off the very instant he completed his attack on the Spiral. It seemed the chase was back on. "I've never heard of this Gaia Memory Distribution thing." Daisaku mused, scratching his head in bewilderment. "Whatever, you can fill me in later. Should I still take this guy out or do you also have some awesome power you want to show off?" He grinned, stretching his legs in preparation for yet another showdown with his newly-super powered opponent. It had been, in Daisaku's opinion, far too long since he had last faced off against a fellow superhuman. He was in desperate need of a chance to shake off the rust, so to speak.

Jameson smirked at the boy's gung-ho nature. This kid would likely get himself in some real trouble just like Jameson had so long ago. And yet Jameson knew it was practically inevitable. Jameson just hoped he found some good mentors to guide him through it all without winding up in too much trouble, or getting himself killed. "Honestly they're not that tough. They're usually only a pain due to.."

Several footsteps were heard as more men looking the exact same as him came in around the corner, pinching the two into an encircled position..

Posted Image

At least ten of them spread around the duo silently..

"numbers.." Jameson said with a pale expression, wondering why he had tempted fate by even STARTING such a dumb sentence. Even so here they were. The Masquerade dopants. The infantry of the Gaia Memory distribution forces. Jameson had no other choice now than to fight them.

"Hope you're ready for a fight kid."

Daisaku let out a disappointed groan as the perfectly identical men in black slowly encircled the duo. "Aw, man, if you told me they were evil minions, I would've shouted 'Henshin' before I transformed or something." Moving past the missed opportunity with a cavalier shrug, Daisaku cracked his knuckles and curled his lips into an excited grin. His only real source of disappointment was that they had brought to the fight a mere ten soldiers. One hero of his caliber would tear through such faceless goons like tissue paper- two was practically overkill. Still, anxious as he was to act once more as an agent of justice, Daisaku was in no hurry. Keeping a watchful eye on the five targets nearest him, the boy waited patiently for one of them to make a move.

The first to act was the man standing directly behind Daisaku. With surprising agility and an almost catlike tread, he made a swift dash for the Spiral Warrior and was followed shortly thereafter by his indistinguishable colleagues. One of their numbers attempted to strike at Daisaku with a furious cross, but in little more than the blink of an eye, he had whirled around a full one hundred-eighty degrees and deflected the blow with the side of his forearm. However, the sheer momentum gathered by Daisaku's lightning-fast movements didn't simply redirect the punch; the man was very nearly knocked off his feet by the force of the Spiral's block. Daisaku, meanwhile, attempted to keep this fluid counterattack going and extended his arm to deliver a wild hay maker to his vulnerable opponent.

Unfortunately, these minions were a fair bit more competent than the average tokusatsu villains in the sense that they actually made good use of their superior numbers. Before he could knock out his target, Daisaku found himself on the receiving end of a flurry of blows aimed at his center of mass. With a abrupt duck to evade the first of the oncoming punches, the Spiral Warrior began a series of increasingly nimble dodges reliant entirely on his own impeccably quick reflexes. Though he appeared to be keeping up with the endless barrage fairly well- much to his attackers' frustration- Daisaku knew that he would have to go back on the offensive if he wished to make any real progress. As luck would have it, his search for an opening was not at all fruitless and, in fact, yielded results almost immediately.

Daisaku's next trick appeared more befitting of a street brawler than any sort of martial artist, but to a young man nearly untrained in hand-to-hand combat, results were results. Pushing off the ground with his back leg, Daisaku propelled himself forward and, soaring underneath a powerful hook, rammed his shoulder into one of the men's stomachs. On contact with the charging Spiral Warrior, he was immediately knocked off of his feet and launched several meters down the street. Daisaku, still holding on to his first target as they flew away from the mob, pulled his fist back and lashed out with a devastating punch. The resulting impact drove the man to the ground with enough force to practically drill through the pavement and into the dirt underneath. Chunks of debris were thrown about as Daisaku made his landing, now free to contemplate his plan of attack until his remaining opponents caught up with him.

However, the foot soldiers wasted no time in closing the gap between themselves and the Spiral Warrior. As they regrouped in preparation for their second engagement, Daisaku caught sight of what appeared to be a thumb-drive which had ejected itself from the defeated man's body. Realizing that couldn't afford to stand around in deep thought, he simply crushed it underfoot and turned to face the remaining members of the Gaia Memory Distribution. They were already in the midst of their next frontal assault, but Daisaku was ready for them this time. Calling upon what little formal knowledge of martial arts he possessed, the warrior spun around full-circle and, with a powerful spinning back kick, struck down the soldier unfortunate enough to be slightly faster than his comrades. Yet another USB drive shot out of his body as he was thrown about like a rag doll by Daisaku's strike.

Not wishing to be ganged up on again, Daisaku utilized his great speed and disappeared once more. He reappeared in front of the unconscious man as he landed on the street, catching the thumb drive and taking a moment to examine it before crushing it in his hand. "How're you holding up, Jameson?" He asked his ally, searching him out on the chaotic battlefield.

Jameson lashed out with his psychic powers, trying to throw off the men around him. Unlike his friend he didn't have any super strength in his normal state. As such he used the mental assault as a cover to retrieve a similar USB device like the enemies had. He clicked it forcing it to release a loud declaration.

SKULL

"Hen.... SHIN!" He shouted slamming it into his belt, transforming in a spiral of electricity and power. His body was covered in black armor, with white ribs and a skull-like helmet. As well as his white fedora.

He held out a hand. "Be ready.. I don't stop until it's case closed!" His enemies dashed him but he was ready now. Using a series of solid blows he managed to keep the distance between himself and his enemies. He took the memory out and clicked it before sliding into the slot at his side. Electricity formed around his fist as he clenched it tight. "Memory break....RIDER... PUNCH!" He roared sending a powerful punch at the enemy sending his flying back and ejecting the memory which ejected and shattered simultaneously.

He exhaled slowly... Seven left... He pressed the memory back down. "MEMORY BREAK!" He roared, rarely did he try two in one go but he couldn't do anything else at this point. "RIDER KICK!" He spun around and slammed his foot into the head of another sending him sprawling and ejecting the memory...

Between his two and his partner's two there were six enemies left. Jameson breathed heavily.. the energy dispersal of two in a row was exhausting.. doing it three more times was going to be rough.. It didn't help he was already exhausted. "Oh, I'm fine. Having lots of fun back here." He said trying hard to make his breathing a little more even.

Daisaku was a bit surprised to see that Jameson had, in a manner not unlike the foes they were dealing with, morphed into an armored form at some point during the heated battle. The change was, to say the least, a bit more noticeable than Daisaku's own transformation, but he supposed that such powers were likely par for the course among the students of Hyakuji High School. He did, however, notice that Jameson was breathing a bit heavily in spite of a valiant effort to conceal his exhaustion. Still, the enemy's forces were already wearing thin. It was pointless to worry about such matters when victory was within their grasp. "Alright, but if you wanna pull out early, let me know and I'll clean up whoever's left." Daisaku called out to his weary partner, reflexively feeling a slight twinge of concern for the detective's well-being.

At this point, there were three targets left for Daisaku to deal with; the remaining three, it seemed, were Jameson's responsibility to deal with. The trio made another foolhardy attempt at rushing Daisaku, which was met with approximately the same degree of success. The Spiral dodged their strikes with such swiftness that he appeared as little more than a red blur, leaving each punch to fly harmlessly through the after-images he left behind. Slowly and methodically, the anonymous attackers moved to surround Daisaku, eventually forming a triangle around their single target. Their strikes were perfectly coordinated, forcing the Spiral to act quickly if he wanted to safely emerge from their midst.

Shifting to one side to avoid an oncoming crescent kick, Daisaku lowered his center of gravity and focused on the man standing directly in front of him. He curled his hand into a fist and, taking full advantage of the leverage he had gained, hit him square in the jaw with a powerful uppercut. The masked man was plowed off his feet and into the air, his USB drive emerging at the very peak of his ascent. Daisaku whirled around to face his two remaining opponents just as his third victim fell to the ground. One of the duo was already going after the Spiral, while his lone remaining ally, in visible desperation, had pulled a street sign from the sidewalk for use as a makeshift weapon. Having approached Daisaku without support, the closer of the minions was little more than target practice for his vastly more powerful opponent. After blocking a roundhouse kick with the side of his arm, the young fighter dropped his enemy with a cross.

The last of their forces gave a mighty, two-handed swing with the street sign, but Daisaku merely hopped over it and landed gracefully before the man. Unfortunately for him, street signs weren't exactly made with combat in-mind, and as such, were quite awkward to wield. As Daisaku attacked with a back fist, the most he could manage was to heave it in front of his body as a means of defending himself. However, the Spiral Warrior easily smashed the improvised weapon in half and followed through until he connected with his enemy's face. Just like his comrades before him, the man was knocked out cold by Daisaku's blow, his memory ejected and ceremoniously crushed under Daisaku's sneaker.

"Done and done." He smiled, clapping the dust off his hands in a show of admiration for his work. Having dealt with his own targets, however, he was quickly reminded of Jameson's state of exhaustion. No doubt he was still feeling the fatigue that had plagued him earlier. "Jameson, how'd you make out? You holding up okay?" He asked, searching for his partner.

He took the skull memory from his side, reaching with his other hand for his gun in it's holster. The Skull Magnum. He reached out firing several shots forcing the enemies back with a rapid burst of fire. He sprinted forward into the cluster, firing rapidly into one of the enemy's gut. He was tossed to the side by one of the other two. He rolled and got to his knees firing a burst to keep the enemy back before taking a kick to the head..

He groaned a bit as he knelt down. using one arm to brace himself. He fired off a series of shots to keep the enemy at bay as he panted breathlessly. He drug himself to his feet... one more time.. He clicked his memory. "Ma..maximum drive.." He slid it into the gun and pulled the front forward locking it into burst mode.

"Skull Punnisher!" He shouted firing a burst of large blasts at the three, the blasts exploded violently sending the three memories out shattered all at once. Meanwhile Jameson felt a sudden intense drain. He fell to one knee with a groan. His chest heaving.. Finally.... "Y-Yeah.. a bit exhausted but I'm okay." Jameson said as he took a minute to relax.

Daisaku found Jameson just as he finished off the last of the enemies with a powerful, energy-based projectile. Despite this impressive display of combat proficiency, however, the detective wasn't given much time to revel in his triumph. Immediately after laying claim to his victory, Jameson dropped to one knee and let out an anguished groan, as though his stamina were completely drained. This seemed to go far beyond ordinary fatigue, if his heaving, labored breathes were of any indication. More perplexing, still, was the fact that he seemed to be plowing through his attackers without any significant opposition; they were dropping like flies before his myriad of techniques. Perhaps, Daisaku considered, he had suffered some sort of debilitating injury before he had arrived on the scene in the first place, and it had simply carried over into this more powerful, armored form.

Regardless, the Spiral Warrior certainly didn't need to think twice before rushing to his friend's aid. The second it was apparent that the threat had been neutralized, Daisaku's hair and eyes returned to their natural colors, signifying that his Spiral Power had been deactivated. He rushed over to the kneeling super sleuth, quickly checking to make sure that he wasn't bleeding. Of course, Daisaku's medical knowledge was all but nonexistent, so that was all that he knew to check for. "Are you sure you're alright, man? You look pretty shaken up." He said in a most concerned tone, his uneasiness reflected just as much in his facial expression as in his voice. "Do you want me to get you back to your dorm room? I mean, those guys might come back, y'know?" He scratched the back of his head, unsure of what to do in such a situation.

Now that he thought about it, their attackers certainly did seem quite similar to the sort of enemies he was used to dealing with. Much like the Anti-Spirals, their lower ranked members were almost complete without an identity of their own, attacked in large groups, and rarely bothered to uphold any sort of secrecy or subtlety in their methods. Then again, that seemed to be true of most any evil organization's infantry. Jameson was almost definitely Daisaku's best source of information on the subject, and getting him to a place where he could safely rest was his first order of business either way. "C'mon, at least let me get you out of the street." He suggested, offering his hand to help the detective to his feet.

"I'm fine." Jameson said brushing him off and standing on his own power. He didn't need this kid freaking out. "I'm not worried about more coming.." He said firmly as he walked over to the detained. He took ShockWatch off his wrist and hooked it to his gun, using the web shooting power to bind the enemies and then he took out StagPhone and called in the capture to the police.. For now they were detained..

"Because that's exactly what I want.." He said spinning his gun and clicking it in his side holster. He took ShockWatch and StagPhone and hooked them to the back of his belt. All these gizmo's were pretty useful. He turned and faced the end of the alleyway..

A man in a neat black suit stood, one hand in his pocket, the other holding a briefcase. A black hat's brim covering his face. His silhouette somehow radiating a malign intent as he looked in on the two boys. "Excellent work, boys.." He said with a smile. "Yes, excellent indeed... Unfortunately I can't allow you to leave with my men like this.."

He clicked the thumb drive. "STAR" It said in it's loud mechanical voice. His body trasformed, his entire form gave out brilliant blinding light. He was covered in rough burning golden flesh and radiated intense heat. His eye flew brilliantly with red light. Large clawed hands formed on thick arms. His size easily overwhelmed both of them together.

"I was trying to lure out this guy.."

"Hmm..." Daisaku scratched his chin as the duo's next opponent revealed himself. "This one's a bit bigger than what I'm used to." He mused. Indeed, this towering behemoth easily dwarfed both combatants, and his very presence seemed to cause the surrounding area to noticeably heat up. This was clearly no random minion of whatever organization Jameson was after. He was the real deal, so to speak- and, by extension, Daisaku's first legitimate taste of what this Gaia Memory Distribution was capable of. Of course, the Spiral Warrior was more than perceptive enough to recognize a potential threat when he saw one. He was simply far too confident to let it effect him in the slightest, especially just after his previous victory.

In fact, judging exclusively by his relaxed, thoroughly unconcerned expression, Daisaku seemed to just want to get it over with and be on his way. For the second time since he departed from the school's campus, the young man removed the mental seal keeping his Spiral Power dormant. The resulting burst was near-identical to Daisaku's earlier transformation, albeit slightly less extravagant. Within a fraction of a second, his metamorphosis was complete, and Daisaku stood before his adversary in the same form in which he defeated the juggernaut's underlings. Though he almost immediately lamented his neglect to cry out "Henshin!" or some similar phrase in the face of this peculiarly appropriate situation, his frustration showed only in the form of a brief, frustrated grimace.

"Alright...Well, wish me luck." He said to Jameson with an almost casual smirk, as if he were going up to bat in a friendly game of baseball. As he stared down his target, Daisaku adopted a rather limber fighting stance and began slowly circling him in an attempt to get a feel for his reflexes and coordination. With any luck, he supposed, such a huge opponent would be lacking in agility, even if his foot speed was still comparatively impressive. Neither he nor Jameson was at full strength at the moment, though on the same token, they weren't weakened enough that there was any cause for alarm. At least, not in the Spiral's opinion, there wasn't.

Once satisfied with his assessment of his foe, Daisaku charged forward in a typical display of overwhelming power and speed. Needless to say, despite what appeared to be a degree of carefulness, the Spiral Warrior's strategy still amounted to little more than attempting to land a solid blow as quickly as possible. He did, after all, need to set the tone for the oncoming battle. So, with a swift, deceivingly graceful dash, the Third Year launched himself toward the armored giant, pulled his fist back, and, once within range, leaped into the air so that he was at eye level with the beast. Daisaku clenched his teeth and threw his fist at the man's face with incredible force, hoping to start the fight off on a solid note.

The creature released a brilliant powerful blast of light. not only slowing his punch but releasing a blindingly bright flash that would have blinded him if he'd been looking directly. Through the clenched eyes of a man throwing a punch though Daisukle probably merely got dazed by the flash. The punch hit but soon Daisaku would also learn of the intense radiating heat flowing from his body. The creature had a powerful defense, it seemed.

Jameson cursed under his breath dragging himself to his fighting stance. The boy was strong and brash. Really in more ways than one he reminded Jameson too much of himself for Jameson to be comfortable. This kid really was going to get himself in some deep trouble one of these days. Luckily today Jameson was there to have his back, and with that the boy resolved to a course of action..

For any other the situation might have been overwhelming. But Jameson wasn't any other. He was used to situations like these. Thinking on his feet was a honed skill. An enemy with high defense meant he just needed to keep the fight at a distance where HE was strongest. And with the Skull Magnum that wouldn't be a problem. Secondly he needed to coordinate the boy's attacks a bit.

He oppened suppressing first on the enemy, a rapid release of shots groups in the beast's chest to keep him from attacking the boy. Meanwhile he darted forward and placed himself at the boy's side. "Get back, carefully think over what you can and can't do against a foe like this!" He said fiercely.. It wasn't like he was trying to reprimand him but at the same time he needed to be clear about this. Rushing in wasn't the answer here.

Meanwhile the enemy absorbed the shots with relative ease. A barrier of intense heat seemed to drain them of some of their power. Meanwhile his claw began to shine as he was readying to go on the offensive!
