If you want in this plot line then you have to participate in this thread. It'll become clear why as it progresses but yeah. Lack of participation here means no hopping in later.

~Dear Olly-Tan

"...Tch. He's found a way to make that nickname more annoying.."

I am heading out with Chetri to buy some necessities. As such I leave the place in your care. Should anyone not allowed come by make sure not to let them in! Keep the doors locked and don't go near the windows.. .Er.. uh.. for various reasons...

"...I know they have snipers, idiot."

Anyhow, just be careful. We'll be back soon. If anything goes wrong just go to the basement door and used the code 1107. LAST RESORT ONLY.

".....I'm kind of terrified to know what that door does."

~The World's Number One Super Sleuth

"...Hurm.." Oliver sat the note down and smirked. Now was his chance. He leaned back in Jameson's chair interlacing his fingers... And he sent the call. To everyone. The entire staff. A message to gather at that place so strictly forbidden to enter. It was time that the WDA learned everything and were given their opportunity to make the choice for themselves.

That is what Oliver had decided.

Damn, that kid is bold. V muttered in his head, amused.

"You're not gonna complain like you always did with Arcadia?"

Nope. V replied curtly.

"You mystify me sometimes..."

Seth trudged along the snow covered sidewalk with V in tow in his head, covered in the trench coat he got from Oliver for Christmas. Their destination, the dingy office of the Willicott Detective Agency. Yes, he knows they are forbidden to even get near that place by Jameson. And no, he doesn't know the consequences of disobeying him. Hence why he still decided to go.

Another reason is that he had been called by someone from within the office itself. Oliver had sent a call, summoning him directly to the agency pronto. Once he received the message, he got up immediately from his bed and immediately made his way to the agency without hesitation. He did say it before. Just give him a holler and he'll come to help.

Upon reaching the front door, he gave a few sharp rap. Seth wanted to stay outside until Oliver answered, but V proceeded to take the doorknob, turned it and pushed the door making just enough opening for him to slip past the doorway. Wh-Hey, V! It's not polite to just barge in!

"Whaaatever,"
V closed the door, but he left it unlocked for the others. Turning around to face the only occupant in the room while taking of the trench coat and placing it on the coat hanger, he said with a smirk, "So. Decided to be selfish for once, eh?"

Speaking of barging in,

"I got your message~ eheh!" She seemed perky today, despite the snow and cold weather but she had never really found enough money at the end of the day to buy one of those trench coats everyone was wearing lately. It was always some sock-world or kareoke that were the big money eaters for Fuu...... besides the fact that winter creeped up on her so fast in Hyakuji.

Gosh. Was it already that time of Year? The end of it?!

She had gone on for quite sometime without any new lead on her villiage's sword theif. Although she didn't mind that Jameson took half her pay for his sleuthing services, Fuu was starting to wonder whether she should ask him if any progress was made. Of course, now would be a bad time to ask, seeing as the big man himself was not here, only Oliver and Seth.

Fuu didn't appear too concerned. After all, if a villiage (even if it were a secret one,) had imploded or something, she was bound to hear about it on the news, right? So she turned to her colleagues with a frivolous grin and said,

"First you want us out, now ya want us back. I knew you'd miss me Olly-kun!"

"Hey Oliver, what's up? I got your message." Jen said as she entered the WDA office, the purple-haired girl wearing a winterized military jacket in M81 woodland camouflage, along with a pair of drab olive-colored cargo pants and brown trekking shoes, acknowledging him - along with Fuu and Seth - with a smile and a wave. Jameson had made it clear that they stay away from that place, but given that Oliver calls the shots for the WDA in Jameson's absence, Jen was not about to disregard his message. And thus far, it seemed that two others aside from Oliver had also defied orders to stay out of the WDA office.

" Ok Oliver, what's this about?! I don't want Jameson to take my head off." Crow stated as he walked into the office. He was dressed in a short sleeve T-shirt, and a pair of blue jeans, with a pair of brown boots on. He didn't make it a habit to dress In layers all the time, seeing as his body temperature was Higher then most.

It had been a slow day for him, he had just left the elemancer tower from some training, and to be honest, he thought it was best to avoid the WDA, at least that was until Oliver gave the call to some in. Unlike the others Crow knew what was going on, but out of respect (more like fear) of Jameson, he decided not to say anything to anyone about what was going on.

" I expect you have a good reason for calling us all to our death's? Cause if not I'm coming back to haunt you when Jameson kills us." He stated in a slightly joking tone, as he leaned againsts the wall, eyeing everyone in the room. This was just another meeting that Ayato had missed. Was the kid still in the WDA, or had he left? Well either way they had found Cherti, and she packed enough firepower to more then make up for the few members that were missing.

"I do." Oliver said leaning forward and rising out of Jameson's chair. He walked around the desk and leaned back on it so he was standing with the other's arms folded across his chest. His tone as serious as ever. "First off Jameson and Chetri are out of the office on business as such we have some time before he gets back. So I decided to call you in. I've been thinking on this for a while and now I've come to a conclusion." He paused and exhaled slowly. Looking down at the floor.

"Besides," He glanced to Crow and Fuu. "You two have already been in here.. We're not stupid, you know?" Oliver said with a light chuckle as he rubbed his neck before turning away from the two to face the group as a whole.

"Jameson is... effectively running a suicide mission." He said with his tone taking on an edge. "And anyone with him is caught in that same danger. He wasn't kidding when he said this was bigger than anything we've done. Imagine the danger in the missions he's taken you on. Now imagine how dangerous one he WOULDN'T is? It's not going to be pretty. It could get real ugly. We could die."

It wasn't the time to hold anything back. That was what he resolved. With no lies or persuasion he'd fairly give them the chance to walk away. "There's no reason to come. you won't be payed for it, you won't be fired for not coming, you won't be praised, and most likely you'll wind up hurt. There's absolutely no reason to come.."

Oliver looked down and clenched his fist. "But... it's.. it's all my fault... Jameson is going into that dangerous place and it's all my fault! If I hadn't come here he wouldn't be in danger! But I going back to them won't resolve anything! Jameson will come for me! Because he's an idiot! I got him mixed into this and now there's no way I can make it right but to face these enemies and get killed. But then Jameson dies too! If we do it alone we're toast! Which is why..."

He exhaled, his breath became shaky and it was clear he was on the verge of tears as he spoke. In truth this was all hard to admit. It went against everything he'd ever learned to ask for help like this. To beg and grovel and involve outsiders in dangerous affairs.

"Which is why I asked you all here. I'm going to give you the choice Jameson wouldn't. Fight or Flight." He said regaining his composure as he stared ahead. It was up to them now. If not even one remained he'd understand. This was a hard choice for anyone.

"Oooh! I'm in, eheh!" Fuu answered, raising her hand in the air eagarly, facing the expressionless and business-like young man. ".. Wait, no. Changed my mind. Saki-chan needs to think about it, ya." Then she crossed her arms and retreated towards the door.
Her giddy demeanor had quickly vanished as Oliver's warnings put a damper on her spirits. No pay, no recognition, very high chance they could DIE. Like the assault on Wo-shing, these same warnings had made her shy away from fighting a fight that wasn't hers to begin with.

Facing Jen with a conflicted and pained expression, she simply stared at her friend.... Knowing her to be the kind of girl she was, that girl was sure to say yes. Jameson was a stingy boss, but he was more so a great daddy. Without him, the WDA wouldn't be a family. It would be nothing. And without him, she would have nothing. Taking hold of both Jen's hands in hers and shaking them enthusiastically,

"We're in this together, always, ya!" Fuu said to her through a worried grin, "Zanda-san, I wanna fight."

"Ugh...Oi oi oi..." A deep groan and a series of hiccups came from the doorway as it closed neatly behind her. "Today's as good a day to die as any." Aki bemoaned. Her voice was slightly grim and gravely, like an old Japanese sailor. Like the others in the room, she'd received a message from their would-be leader and like any intelligent human being with a desire for self-preservation had decided to stay away. At least until she realized she needed to pick up her 'final' paycheck since it didn't seem like he planned on coming back. And if the office was going to turn into a war-zone or something anyway it seemed prudent to her bike she'd left in the garage overnight. Speaking of last night...

Aki did her best to avoid Seth's eyes, looking down for a moment scratch the back of her head after scanning the room and catching his spiky black hair in her sights. After what had happened last night she didn't really want to acknowledge him at all, or as little as possible at least. Part of her felt pretty bad about defenestrating him from the second story window of her apartment like a bad ex's luggage. The rest of her was too hung over to apologize or even talk about it. Her head felt like it could split open at any minute and spew an all-percussion marching band out in every direction like Athena's goddamn drumline.

Normally this would lead to a day spent doubled over in the dark to the sound of the alcoholic's mantra appropriately titled 'never again'. For whatever reason though, she just felt an overwhelming need to get out of that apartment today. Brushing her hair and changing into a suit had proved a daunting task when the sound of traffic was practically enough to bring her to her knees and so she hoped she wasn't completely unrecognizable like this. However the one upside to feeling this shitty was that even if they had something to say about it she simply didn't care. Which inexorably lead her to the moment at hand.

To say she was joking about dying was difficult to prove or disprove, but Aki had managed to catch the gist of Oliver's speech about a suicide mission. Try as she might to stay mad at the detective for screwing with their family dynamic, she couldn't deny the tug in her heart that begged her to go help him. He might be a bit of a selfish asshole for running off and splitting them up like that, but he was still her boss. About the coolest one anyone could ever ask for too and dammit if she didn't love him for it. "Don't count me out just cause of how I look...but I could really use a glass of water..."

" Huh what?! Olly you little snoop!" Crow said in defense of Olivers assumption of what happened between him and Fuu, to be honest Crow was to confused himself about the whole thing and didn't want to argue about it, and on top of that they had more important issues to deal with.

" I have been in this since me, and Jameson first learned about it. That guy damn near melted my brain, and I want to mess his face up, worse then I did his big friend!" Crow stated as he made a fist, a intense flame, burned in his eyes, and soul. Crow had spent time in america training for this, and he would be damned if all that went to waste.

" The boss is like a father, and without him there is no us! I won't leave him alone like this, cause even if I asked him too.......he wouldn't abandon me......" Crow spoke in a booming voice, but trailed off with a bit of compassion at the end. Jameson would never leave Crow, or any of the WDA in anything they couldn't handle, he was the head of their flock, and by god, the little chicks where going to save the momma hen. ( Or one eyed rooster in this case)

Seth gave a hopeless sigh. Either he didn't realize how truly dangerous the whole situation is or he just didn't care. For once both Seth and V had the same thought in their mind. He approached Oliver, Seth raising his left hand while V raised his right, then they both knocked lightly on Oliver's head.

"Idiot,"

"Baka,"

"Dummkoph,"

Where did you learn that?

"Haven't I told you? Just give me a call and I'll come straight to help whether Jameson likes it or not,"
He said, placing both of his hands to his side, giving him a confident smile that seriously contradicts the mood. "I think we'll be fired if we come, but if we got out alive he's got no reason to complain. If we die, ...well... ... he can't fire us. That's something positive... right...?"

Riiight... way to ruin the mood even more.

"Nonono! We won't die! I promise you that!" He blurted on, not wanting to take Oliver's spirit down any further. Aaand, just in the nick of time, whether convenient or not, a familiar voice called in from the doorway. He turned around just in time to see the door shut and-

Ack.

Standing there was Aki, groaning and hiccuping and obviously drunk. Again. Not exactly an impressive sight given her condition, but enough to take his mind off anything else. His mind had subconsciously reeled back its memory log to the big event last night. That includes the event the next morning of the said last night, where he was unceremoniously thrown out of the window from two stories high up like... like... ... He was thrown from the window. 'Nuff said.

Not that it mattered much to him. Obviously she's startled to suddenly find a guy sleeping in her room. Right. Maybe startled was an understatement. He couldn't get mad at her anyway. He'd be surprised himself if he was in her shoes. If she's avoiding him because she felt guilty then he has to tell her that he's not mad at her. That is, he would. If it wasn't for the fact that he's avoiding her gaze as well. The event from last night was probably a little bit too much for him to handle. He averted his eyes from her, his face slightly red and scratching his cheek.

Awkwaaaard.

... Riiiiight...

"I'll get you some,"
He said, darting straight to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Not for long though, as he came back holding a glass full of (surprisingly enough) crystal clear water. Holding it up to her, he muttered, "Uhm... Aki, sorry... for startling last time,"

Jen looked at Fuu with concern as Oliver briefed them on the situation at hand. So it seemed that some people - dangerous people, she might add - were after their colleague Oliver, and Jameson was trying to stop them, but according to Oliver, trying to stop these people was effectively a suicide mission, and trying to join up with Jameson could get themselves killed as well. Jen remained silent, solemnly contemplating what she'd been through up until now. Truth be told, while she thought of herself as a brave girl, Jen was very much afraid of death - afraid of how her family would cope with a life without her, and fearful of dying before she got to do the things she wanted to do with her life. But for all her fear of death, since when had she not stared death in the face, and emerged triumphant? Whether it be a psychotic half-demon and his seven deadly sins-themed henchmen, a horde of aliens with an ancient Egyptian theme or the Heartless, her skills and knowledge have allowed her to come out ahead every time.

"We're in this together, always, ya!" Jen gave Fuu a reassuring smile as the country lass took hold of her hands and shook them enthusiastically. Did she not confront death in those labyrinthine caves beneath Hyakuji in that treasure hunt? Between the giant spider and her spawn, and the dragons - together, in the face of death with Fuu and Oliver? They'd faced great odds before, and they'd do so again. "Zanda-san, I wanna fight." Jen nodded at Fuu's decision. So be it, then. While the information came only as vague hearsay for her, didn't Jameson somehow get himself killed once during the Heartless incident? But with her and the rest of the WDA around, they sure as hell aren't going to let that happen again.

"I'm in too," Jen added. "For Jameson, for all of us, I will fight."

Oliver couldn't help but smile sheepishly at their unanimous vote to help. Truly this was a room full of complete idiots. Every last one of them was mentally retarded to the degree of being beyond salvation. And yet he was glad for this complete lack of common sense. They were just like Jameson. Broken in some way so that they couldn't respond reasonably to mortal peril. Perhaps someday Oliver would also be broken by them. Perhaps he already was.

"Okay then. Let's do this." He said with a smirk as he eyed them all. He moved away and opened the desk taking several files out. "Before I came to the U.S. I was enrolled in Bel-forest Academy. A U.S. high school equivalent of Hyakuji. Or so it would seem. In reality it's a military recruitment front. They find especially talented kids and begin early recruitment into their special ops. I was one such kid. They had me on a fast track to black ops. Before.. well.. Hyakuji happened."

"One of our top agents went missing. Cypriss N. Quatrain. By the time I found him he'd... broken. It's hard to explain but he was stolen of his heart and turned into a monster by demons.. Anyhow Jameson resisted the same effect. He didn't loose to the darkness. This instill doubt in me about my path I was on.. so I defected.."

"Soon after my former black ops team also defected for unknown reasons. And now they're here for me for more unknown reasons..."
He planted his hands on the table. "When they approached Jameson they called themselves the Johnson Eight.. Two died in a fight the other day against Jameson and Chetri. That leaves Six remaining.."

"Six elite. deadly. Super human Government trained black ops agents. Versus us."

"Still in?"

" Wait Cypriss? I remember him....quiet guy, seemed kinda emo when I meet him...." Crow said out loud as he thought back on the few times he bumped into the guy, while he didn't know him that well he had a few memories.

" Oh Olly blah blah blah! Danger, death. Its all the same to me. I'm in this for you and Jameson, and well trained killer or not, I'm always down for a good fight....we are all family, and this is what family does for each other." Crow stated as he put on Jameson's patented smile, and thumbs up, to hell with gimmick infringement, Crow was in a good mood.

" We won't die, we will make it through this, and we will all come back here to have fun and poke fun at boss, cause that's what family's do....." Crow said as he walked over to Oliver, staring at him with a positive gaze. Crow knew this wouldn't be easy, but he also knew that with everyone's help, they would all survive.

"Yup!" Fuu interjected before Crow. "We can take 'em, yaha!"

She may have been a complete moron for still agreeing to do this, and especially on those terms. However the peppery girl didn't appear to have any problems about the set up at all. Instead, she had a number of questions to ask their stand-in leader.

"When do we leave?" More importantly, "Do you have a plan, Zanda-san?" Facing Jen now, "Do you think they will change their group name now that two of them are dead, ya?"
Her voice began to sink into background noise as she paced around the back of the office. "I'm so glad our boss wasn't dumb enough to call us the Jameson eleven..... but it is starting to sound trendy actually... ya....."

"That sure is some history..." Jen murmured as Oliver went through his personal history about his past at Bel Forest academy, a training institute not unlike Hyakuji or AHS - or that SEED Institute thingy that Lavender mentioned, albeit with more sinister motives compared to the previous three, frowning slightly as Oliver went through the part about how he was drafted into special ops, and how he subsequently defected, and the enemy they are about to face.

"Six elite. deadly. Super human Government trained black ops agents. Versus us. Still in?"

"Yup!" Fuu interjected before Crow. "We can take 'em, yaha!" Them, versus former elite black ops troopers with super powers? Why not? Perhaps, this could be an ultimate test for her survival skills - it almost made her think of the movie "Red" starring Bruce Willis.

"Now that's an amusing thought Fuu-chan; the Johnson Six versus the Jameson Eleven," Jen commented on Fuu's remark that they may need to rename their group after losing two of their members, chuckling slightly before looking at Oliver with a more serious expression. "So what's the plan then?" Jen asked.
