Midori stood waiting near the back end of the park. She was unsure of who exactly she'd be meeting up with. All she heard was that someone was gathering up, or attempting to gather up people to form a group to keep out evil organizations from Hyakuji.

That was a noble cause, and Midori relished the opportunity to do some good as well as hone her skills. She heard that the gathering place was, surprisingly, in Doki-Doki Land.

An interesting choice, but then again this place was full of things far stranger.

She waited for whoever had called her here to show up. She had been told not to worry about bringing weapons, so she kept her claymores in their pocket dimension. All it would be was training today, trials maybe.

She wondered just what she had gotten herself into.

A bokken landed near her feet almost instantly as soon as Zylor had seen her. It was time for him to begin recruiting the people he would need to help him curtail this crime in the city. “In order to be a master of yourself you must first learn to master your speed. After speed comes strength, then endurance and lastly will come the test of courage. Once that is done you will be ready to learn how to inspire fear.” A voice came out of speakers near her. The entire park was empty for the day courtesy of him renting it for an entire day.

“First we shall spar with bokkens until one of us can no longer spar. Our next phase will be the training with batons and then we shall move up to actual weapons that I have saved for such an occasion. Are you ready for me to begin or should I give you a moment to prepare?”

"<Very well then. I have no objection to that.>" She had been prepared for strangeness. This wasn't so surprising to her. She picked up the bokken.

It had been a while since she had actually felt the full force of a weapon, even a practice one, in her hands. Her family crests made the weight of an object almost a non-issue.

It seemed that this person intended to have her expand her horizons in defense and combat. She was ready to do so.

"<I am ready.>" Time to go to work.

Obviously this girl had no fear. So he could not exploit that in this coming fight. But he did have a supply of nasty tricks up his sleeve. His voice echoed over the speakers once more. “Very well then.” With that he flipped off of where he had been standing and landed near her with a bokken in his hands. “Let us see if you can master this first lesson, the aggression of a tiger.”

Relentlessly he began to hammer at her with a series of blows with the bokken. He was clad in his vigilante garb including his mask, but no utility belt or sword hung at his waist at the moment.

So that was who had called her here. She had no time to focus on that though, as he immediately came to attack her!

Instinctively, she took to a defensive style, blocking attacks or deflecting them to avoid damage. Just because it was a training weapon didn't mean it wouldn't hurt if she got hit.

He kept pounding with attack after attack. "<I cannot defend forever. I must use his own relentlessness against him.>"

She attempted to deflect one of his attacks in such a way so as to force him to expose his side to her, where she would strike.

If that didn't work, she'd be taking a hit for sure.

She managed to expose his side but only for a fraction of a second, and then he readjusted himself so he was no longer exposed to her. “Speed is relative. Slow down the combat in your mind and think of what to do next. You would be dead by now if these were real swords.”

At that he sheathed his bokken. “Later we will resume the lesson of the tiger. For now however we shall work on a new lesson. Knowing how to fight multiple opponents at one time will be your next lesson. Leave the bokken behind you will not be requiring it for this lesson.”

He was much quicker than she had expected. And to add insult to injury, he brought up something that she should've thought of herself. The time she had spent not fighting had made her forget that a battle is won in the mind. Physical attributes can only go so far, the greatest of battles are won before anyone makes a movement.

She dropped the bokken and followed Zylor. "<Patience Midori. Focus, keep the scenario before you in your mind. Very well. Where are we going now?>"

Bumper cars would make an ideal way to teach this person the next lesson. The lesson of fighting on multiple fronts in combat if the need should arise. One he had learned a while ago and had decided to pass on to her. Of course only if she was willing to learn the next lesson of course. Pulling out a small coin. “Heads, we resume the aggression lesson. Tails you learn how to fight multiple opponents.” He hurled the coin into the air.
