((OOC: Doesn't count as a thread to post here. This is main plot-related but not an uber event. More just a chance to get more back story on the Kaimu kids in the band and develop further with them. It starts in the middle of things so if you're in just post like you've been there the whole time or are coming in late. Also sorry, the song for this single post actually isn't on youtube yet so no fancy embed like usual.))

Christmas was swiftly approaching and like usual many of the businesses in Hyakuji began to have special events or promotions befitting the season. For Underground 10 they typically had a special night where they got some bands to perform between the usual mix of dance music.

In what was perhaps the most awkward of acquisitions, River City Ransom had been booked to play. Due to the nature of the blackmail Principal Hitagawa had received publicly the whole situation was deemed a fluke accident of someone's powers and no fault was placed on any of the bands; especially the one really at fault. The band themselves couldn't turn down the gig based on their reputation for playing any offer. Plus, the student council informed them they couldn't back down either and so far they still had to consent with their wishes.

Underground 10 had its most packed night of the year from the event. Naturally a mix both from those sincerely wishing to see the event and those who knew the truth of what happened at the Town Festival and snapped on the chance to cross paths with RCR once more. The concert had been going smooth thus far and River City Ransom's performance had remained uninterrupted; a surprise to the band on stage. Though perhaps it made sense. Interrupting while they played would cause a ridiculous scene and perhaps run counter to any actions. They'd already announced at the start of their set they'd be sticking around for the rest of the party after they played; perhaps a poor idea despite their use of it for showmanship.

They'd been playing for close to 45 minutes and having just finished a rather energetic song Tatsuya stepped up the mic with his usual confident grin. "Hey everyone," he spoke with a cheerful laugh, "We want to thank Underground 10 for putting on this event and offering us to play... and of course all of you for coming out to see us despite the snow."

"We've got some new songs we've been working on," he continued, "So to end out the last two songs of our set we're going to debut them for you. This next song is a little different for us. Rika and I wrote it recently due to some stuff the band has been going through..." As his words trailed off Tatsuya glanced to his right at Aya who nodded and returned a reassuring smile as if to suggest everything was fine.

[Cue Song: http://www.aimini.net/view/?fid=GLOxQLxqT4ZhRwklP5XJ]

Slowly, all the members of the band exited the stage as Rika pushed the stand she used for her synths forward while Daigo handed Tatsuya an acoustic guitar in exchange for his regular one. Alone, with just the two of them on stage, Rika began a melody on her keyboard that slowly faded in and once it hit its peak Tatsuya joined in with his guitar shortly before singing. His voice surprisingly solid despite being softer than their usual tunes.

Everything you plant will die
The seasons all will pass you by
All your plans will go awry
So, who's afraid to live?
Not I.

Despite the mostly acoustic nature of the song it packed an immense amount of energy that seemed perfectly punched with Tatsuya's voice. With both their faces locked into a very sincere look he began the next verse.

Everyone you know will lie
Those you trust will make you cry
All hello's end with goodbye
So, who's afraid to love?
Not I.

Suddenly, the music shifted into the chorus as Tatsuya continued to belt out the words punching them now with extra emotion. Those in the crowd would have to be heartless to remain unaffected even in the least; it was the stuff that gave listeners cold chills.

And I'll let this go
Keep it to myself
If no one knows, I'll be fine
But even so, it's hard to walk that line

As they shifted back to the verse, the rest of the band remained watching the performance from backstage. "It was really sweet of them, but they didn't have to," Aya whispered softly to Daigo and Kazama.

"You know how they are," Kaz laughed, "Shit... even if it is all sappy that's a damn good song."

"It was so touch and go there," Daigo added, "You know how we all feel. But I think it hit Tatsu and Rika the worse. The only thing they could do was work on that song and keep occupied on it or they would have worried themselves to death."

"It was some bullshit," Kaz added in his usual rude tone, "Everything we went through... everything we had to begrudgingly do... our reputation as a band could be shot in a moment at this point. We did all of that and then it seemed like still we were going to lose you."

"You're the glue that holds this together and the one that started the band in the first place," Daigo concluded off of Kazama's comment, "Safe to say... I don't think the rest of us would have become friends without you. I know if something had happened those two would have wanted to succeed in your honor but after everything we did there probably wouldn't have been a way if one wrong thing occurred. Until things turned for the better... they felt like they were losing everything."

"I see..." Aya mumbled softly as her gaze turned back to the stage slightly in awe.

Liars look you in the eye
You will fall before you fly
And no one here can tell you why
So, who's afraid to laugh?
Not I.

As they returned to the chorus, Tatsuya kept pitch on and tossing forth his most powerful vocal performance. They were out there in the crowd. Many of the same people that listened to them with open ears and minds at the Town Festival. And they had betrayed them. They had their reasons, but it still didn't change what had occurred. And even after all they did their wish almost wasn't granted. If things hadn't gone different what would they be doing now? What would have been the point of terrorizing Hyakuji like they had done?

And I'll let this go
Keep it to myself
If no one knows, I'll be fine
But even so, it's hard to walk that line

'Cuz everything you plant will die
Those you trust will make you cry
And no one here can tell you why
So, who's afraid to live?
Not I.

So, who's afraid to live?
Not I.
So, who's afraid to live?

Not I...

As Tatsuya's voice held out the last note it seemed to grow weak as if he were unable to control it properly. As the Rika played the outro, Tatsuya tucked his head down to avoid looking at the audience and quickly moved offstage to the rest of the band where he began to exchange out the acoustic for his regular guitar.

"Tatsu," Kaz asked as he tossed an arm around his shoulder, "You okay, man?"

"I'll be fine," he added as he rubbed the sleeve of his flashy overcoat across his face and then turned to the rest giving them a reassured grin, "Come on, we have one more song and we need to end with a bang."

"Right," Daigo nodded in agreement as he dragged Kaz and began to head back out on stage.

"Thank you," Aya commented once they were gone, "And Rika... I-"

However, Tatsuya quickly cut her off, "Now's not the time to talk about it. But you don't need to thank us. Daigo and Kaz felt the same way; they can just act tough." Together, the two laughed about this as Aya picked back up her bass and together they went out to the stage to join the rest.

On stage, Rika had finished the song and leaned to her mic, "Alright everyone, we need just a moment to get things set back up and then we'll finish things up!" Saying this she began to pull the stand with her synths back to their spot before moving to help everyone else get set back up.

" So he came back?......." Ikki mumbled to himself as he watched RCR perform. Their music was quite soothing, and the melodies where quite enticing. How could people who write such beautiful music, be evil? It didn't make sense. But Ikki wasn't here to listen. He was here for Tatsuya, he had been unable to get the guy out of his mind since the day of the festival.

He was greatly interested in the young man's fighting style, and his ability to copy moves that he has seen, it wouldn't be the first time Ikki encountered that ability, but then again this was the first person he saw with the ability who didn't seem to flaunt it.

" Hmm now how to get to him without causing a scene?" Ikki said as he leaned back againsts the wall, scanning the room around him. He wasn't here to fight, just to speak, he had no real anger towards RCR, he saw what they did as nothing more then a prank, that seemed to piss off a large portion of Hyakuji's students.

" Well guess I better sit tight until I have an opening. Wonder if he will remember me...."

"We could always ask for a autograph. That way I can at least learn their names and then make their tongues swell inside their mouths so they can't counter-spell should we end up fighting." Shad suggested in a low voice only Ikki could hear, also leaning next to the wall, chewing on a Mandragona. The radish that looked almost like a person was almost completely eaten, struggling and shaking in his grasping right hand.

It was a cinch to infiltrate the Underground 10, using his size magic to appear at least 6'1" with the ruggedness as a adult. A bit of enlargement grew a shadow of a beard on his now sculptured chin, along with hair on his head and so on. The bouncer, not even aware of size magic's existance, let him in since he seemed decent enough. (Of course, later on, he'll use reduction to turn back to normal size. Looking like a adult irriated his spinal cord and knees.) Still, it made a good disguise for the time being.

"Gotta say, the music seems a bit cold but speaks to me since I often ponder why death doesn't scare me. Probably because I lost interest along the way." Shad nodded to the next song, tipping his toes to each of the beats, keeping the rhythm in his head for the time being. "The only thing I don't agree with is the 'every plant will die' thing, since I have a knack for gardening." He chewed on the mandragona some more, ignoring the squirming for the time being.

What
Tarin sighed and wondered if she was wasting her time. After all, it seemed pretty vindictive to still be tailing a high school band for what amounted to a very large scale prank. True, it was in incredibly bad taste and unnecessarily malicious, but it was a still a prank nonetheless. She supposed she could have let it go, but there were a couple of things that really bothered her that she simply couldn't ignore.

First things first, for what seemed to be a simple prank on the surface, the true cause of the event was very quickly covered up. The "official" explanation for the spontaneous clothes destruction was attributed to some kind of superpower malfunction, which Tarin and pretty much everybody present there knew was a rather blatant lie. Second were those untraceable calls they had been making. In conjunction with their access to that specialized gas, it meant they were working with some sort of unknown benefactor.

So, here she was, spending a perfectly good night that could have gone to studying up more on supernatural threats tailing the members of a random high school band. As always, Underground 10 was packed, dimly lit, and noisy, which made it easy to hide within the crowd. However, that didn't stop her from recognizing a couple of familiar faces, doubtless people who had ideas similar to hers. While Tarin would certainly be one of the first few to celebrate if RCR had suddenly dropped dead, the idea of starting a fight in a crowded nightclub was not at all appealing. Then she noticed Ikki in the crowd and sighed, but did not make any move to announce her presence. Hopefully he would have the common sense not to start anything.

Star really had to learn how to go looking for trouble in the daytime. Being solar powered was such a hassle when all the interesting stuff happened at night. That didn't stop her from jumping up and digging out her best party outfit when she got word of RCR performing in Underground 10, of course. She twirled a lock of long blond hair around her finger, putting on her best excited expression as the band finished their song.

Star clapped her hands together, cheering with the rest of the crowd and looking like she had absolutely no idea about what happened during the festival. It scared her sometimes how completely effortless it was for her to look like she couldn't string two sentences together.

I won't tell if you don't... she thought to herself with a smile and a giggle as she disappeared back into the crowd, avoiding a boy that looked like he had finally mustered up the courage to go talk to her. She really didn't want to have to deal with a distraction like that right now, even though it would be fun. She had to keep focused on RCR and whatever it was they were up to. She wasn't too happy about the fact that they had managed to get away scot-free.

In her hometown, before powers were involved and when the playing field was much smaller, Star had always enjoyed fixing situations in her favor. There were very few people that she actually hated, but the one time she had worked up the energy to be malicious and vengeful, she had ruined one girl's reputation to the point where she had to transfer schools. She couldn't do that on a playing field this big, but she still felt like she needed to do something.

Star stumbled, bumping into the person in front of her. She took a step back, placing a hand on her head. See, this is what you get for zoning out. Focus, Star. she told herself, rubbing her head and looking up. "Sorry, I--" Star stopped, her eyes widening when she realized that the person she had bumped into was Tarin. She blinked, putting on her cheeriest smile. "Ah, Tarin-chan! I didn't think I'd see you here! Are you enjoying the music?"

The brainless act was really starting to wear thin with Tarin. Star knew that sooner or later she would have to drop it, assuming, of course, that Tarin didn't know better already.

Everything you plant will die
The seasons all will pass you by
All your plans will go awry
So, who's afraid to live?
Not I.

How did she end up here again?

Everyone you know will lie
Those you trust will make you cry
All hello's end with goodbye
So, who's afraid to love?
Not I.

She only wanted to tour the city and get familiar with the place.

And I'll let this go
Keep it to myself
If no one knows, I'll be fine
But even so, it's hard to walk that line

She wanted to show Yumi; and she might as well considering how she didn't plan to leave anytime soon.

Liars look you in the eye
You will fall before you fly
And no one here can tell you why
So, who's afraid to laugh?
Not I.

Not until she graduated Hyakuji High anyways.

And I'll let this go
Keep it to myself
If no one knows, I'll be fine
But even so, it's hard to walk that line

She remembered being curious about the large crowd gathering.

'Cuz everything you plant will die
Those you trust will make you cry
And no one here can tell you why
So, who's afraid to live?
Not I.

Then everybody was pushing and pushing.

So, who's afraid to live?
Not I.
So, who's afraid to live?

Pushing to get in she presumed until...

Not I...

Until now when Asami's eyes glittered looking up at the performing band. Only moments ago Iroa had been looking left and right hoping to find someone she might recognize so she wouldn't have to be alone in this place. Yet after watching the performance of even just a few songs, however, Asami was mesmerized. The music, the vocals, the passion, the excitment! It was a brand new experience for her.

But more than being touched by the song, Asami was touched by the performance. The band was standing in the spotlight performing for all to see. The radiance... the beauty... would it.. would it be possible for her to one day be standing on a stage like that also? Her hand reached up unconsciously as though trying to grasp hold of that brilliance...

NICE DRIVE!
Moments later everything was set back up and just as the rustle of the crowd had grown slightly Tatsuya approached the mic once more now that the band was fully assembled again on the stage. "Again," Tatsuya spoke eagerly, "We'd like to thank everyone for coming out tonight to see us. This is our last song and it's another new one we just wrote a few days ago; hope you enjoy it~"

Slowly a light intro began on the keys from Rika which was quickly joined in by Kaz on the drums. All at once Aya started up on the bass mixing in a very punchy sound as the melody Rika was playing began to vary. Stepping up to the mic Tatsuya began to sing as passionately as always in what was decidely their most pop-sounding song yet.

It's not enough
It never is
I tell myself
I can't take this

Tomorrow comes
I'm back in
Playin' dumb
And waitin' for

Suddenly the music changed as Daigo added in guitar finally to the song giving back their usual rock feel while the melody Rika was playing dropped to simply faint background sounds.

Something I could never find
To come knock, knock, knocking down my door
But waiting's such a waste of time, so
Here we go

All at once they broke into their usual style of chorus as Tatsuya joined playing his guitar as he sang. Daigo and Aya jumped around the stage cheerfully as they played enjoying the beat on the song.

Break me down
And build me up again
I can take it
The remaking
The more we know
The less we understand
So live the rebound
Welcome to the breakdown

Coming out of the chorus Kaz kept the beat going as Aya played a rather impressive little riff on her bass to lead back into the verse again proving once again she was perhaps one of the most talented members of the band despite her generally meek attitude.

Forget the day
Forget the clock
Forget yourself
And don't stop

'Cuz soon enough
You find out
The only truth
Is the breaking down

And everybody does sometimes
You're lie, lie, lyin' on the floor
Life is in the way you learn from it
Lose or win

As they returned to the chorus Daigo joined Tatsuya singing along on the chorus. Each member of the band seemed entirely wrapped in playing their hearts out for this song. In truth, it held a great deal of personal importance to each of them and their current situation.

Break me down
And build me up again
I can take it
The remaking
The more we know
The less we understand
So live the rebound
Welcome to the breakdown

As typical for most rock songs they then moved to a chorus. But, of course, being such an atypical band rather than on guitar Rika began to race her fingers across the keys of her synth playing a solo as the rest of the band grinned with enjoyment at the sound.

Then, quickly, they went into a rather stripped down version of the chorus which Tatsuya sang in a softer tone as he gave the audience an encouraging grin to enjoy the song themselves.

Break me down
And build me up again
I can take it
The remaking
The more we know
The less we understand
So live the rebound
Welcome to the breakdown

Everything broke back in a final time triumphantly to the chorus as Tatsuya, Aya and Daigo all jumped in the air while playing in perfect unison making for a pretty cool effect. They had started the song going full blast with all their energy and they were ending it as such as every member joined in singing the final part of the chorus.

Break me down
And build me up again
I can take it
The remaking
The more we know
The less we understand
So live the rebound
Welcome to the breakdown

Welcome to the breakdown
Welcome to the breakdown
So live the rebound
Welcome to the breakdown

As their instruments rang out and the crowd began to cheer Aya waved shyly to everyone. Tatsuya spoke into the mic for a final time, "Thank you everyone. We're River City Ransom and we hope to play for you all again. Like I said, we'll be hanging around for the rest of the night and we're always happy to meet and talk to our fans so don't be shy."

Collectively the band began to pack their gear off stage as Underground 10's DJ began to blast their usual mix of dance music. The lights dimmed for the stage leaving the band no longer a focus for attention giving them time to get all their stuff packed up and backstage.

They didn't particularly want to stick around for the rest of the Christmas party given what had happened at the festival, but it was a part of their contract for the gig so they had no choice. Once they had this short reprieve working all their instruments and amps backstage they would be fed to the wolves; in a sense.

" Looks like now is my chance!" Ikki said to himself, knowing that Shad could have heard him. Without looking for danger, he fired up his air treks, speeding off towards the stage. He was going to make sure he got a chance to talk to Tatsuya at least once before they left.

He let out a loud grunt as he pushed off the ground, soaring threw the air like a bird. His air treks let out a small squeak as the wheels touched the ground, sending Ikki into the backstage area.

" Man you guys are either really stupid, or a lot more powerful then any student we have." Ikki said with a smile as he brought himself to a stop, just a little away's from the group, he wasn't there to fight, unless they showed aggression. He was there more so to talk to Tatsuya, and understand why they did what they did.

" Or there is a third option....you guys where paid to do it, and now you wanna just put the past behind us. Well either way I forgive ya! Although you did ruin a good pair of pants that day, and you did kinda see my girlfriend Tarin naked, but oh well I'm willing to let dead bodies lie." He stated in a rather friendly tone, as he looked around the group, they where in fact just a group of kids like him.

" But your the one I came to see." He stated as he pointed at Tatsuya.

One tip to always go by, never grab onto the shirt of a Air Trekker when attempting to stop him from doing something stupid. Even in his new body, Shad was still too light as his feet were lifted off the ground, 'flying' horizonally with mouth gaping open. Of course, he didn't scream or wail since this experience was nothing like getting shot out of a cannon (resulting in multiple burns) or launched into a castle head-first via catapult (3 broken ribs and was in a coma for 4 months).

So, basically after a few seconds in flight, Shad's eyes widened as Ikki came to a sudden stop, his fingers quickly loosing their grip as he flew right past Ikki and into a pile of discarded wooden boxes. The impact was thunderous, shattering the boxes like cardboard as clouds of sawdust gathered around his body. "I...I'mmmm o-kay."

Using arms to stabilize himself, Shad stood up with multiple puncture wounds on his flesh, his right eye covered in blood. "Tch...." He muttered, a bit annoyed by the way Ikki acted and the fact those bandmembers were so rude. How the heck will he get to learn their full names if they run out on their fans?

"Ikki, this isn't a social moment. You never call a person stupid when they outnumber you. But I digress, you fellas never did your paperwork and had them approved by the school, so it either means you're out of town or you have a strong backer that has strong influence." Shad's eyes were deep just looking straight through them, expressionless, emotionless. "My clothing and hat cost about 450 dollars, American. I doubt any of you care."

He now stood in front of the backstage exit awhile saying this, his arms crossed sternly. "What I do care is that one of you negated my spell, which is hereditary, not acquired. Which can mean some of you are mages. In a way, your actions can be counted as treason against the City and the Magic Council in the usage of black magic gas. I will be lenient, however, if you tell me where the main supply of that clothes-destroying gas is stored." (OOC: Note-Shad thinks the gas is magical and not man-made.)

"Huh, it looks like somebody did their homework," Daigo laughed as he sat down the guitar case he was carrying and turned to directly face the two boys that had rushed backstage after them.

"Do you really think we could be bought off," Tatsuya scoffed back to the boy's suggestion about their motives as he turned and slapped away the finger pointing towards his face, "As things are right now, We could sign a record deal at any moment we wanted and go pro. We've just agreed to wait till we finish high school. Money certainly isn't something we're lacking."

"And we certainly don't care about how much your clothes cost, dumbass," Kazama added as he raised a hand and materialized one of the handguns he had wielding at the town festival and pointed it towards Shad. However, moment later he laughed and lowered the weapon letting it vanish again into nothingness.

"I was the one that counter-spelled you family magic or whatever; you could say I have an unorthodox wand. And I also don't give a damn about that either. Do I look like someone that has something to do with a Magic Council?" Kaz questioned as he crossed his arms slowly.

"The gas also wasn't magic," Rika added in a cold dry tone glaring towards Shad, "You must be a newer student then. If you had a history here you'd know what we used during the festival was something that originated from the school itself."

"Someone did their homework though," Tatsuya added with a laugh as he looked from Ikki to Shad, "We didn't have papers nor were we properly enrolled in Hyakuji. Things have been so hectic we were able to slip right in unnoticed."

In the center of the group Aya shuffled nervously well knowing that in some way the entire ordeal was because of her. The others had told her not to take the blame, but how could she not? As it stood all five of them were going to be drafted into a knock down drag out fight with everyone from Hyakuji at the rate things were going.

"It was a ballsy move to come back here," Daigo spoke up, "But we do have you outnumbered and we didn't come here looking for a fight. None of us are proud about what happened at the festival and if we had a choice it wouldn't have happened like that... but we have our reasons. So I suggest you let this go and allow the crowd out there to have an enjoyable night."

"Nice performance. If I must say it, I'm impressed," He said to the whole band, giving a smirk and a thumbs up. "I'm not sure what you guys did to get on the bad side of these two, but, uh... beware of the shorty. He's got a short fuse,"

Izumi River was leaning on the wall at the back side of the stage. How he managed to get there in the first place was anyone's guess. As usual, his hood hung over his head giving him a shady look. But if one looked closer, they could see a bright glint in his eyes. Something that only happens when he sense trouble brewing. Though his trouble sense isn't exactly useful, since he always seems to choose to stay with the trouble than to stay away from it.

Pushing himself off from the wall he cast a Fractional Gravity Circle under his own feet, reducing it to about a third of Earth's normal gravity. Immediately he jumped over the heads of the two intruder, leaving the Gravity Circle to dissolve to nothingness, before landing lightly right in front of the rest of the band on a blue magic circle that was definitely not there before. He straightened up, extending his hand and said with a strangely ominous and honest smile, "Izumi River. Nice to meet you,"

Isn't he strangely polite. By the way, he have no hidden intention other than wanting a handshake. Seriously.

" Oh you think the numbers game matters to me? I would gladly take you all on! But I'm not one to push my luck, even though after what you did, I'm sure some of the students out there would be happy to come to my rescue..." Ikki stated with a smile as he stared at the group. They where all powerful, but none of them interested him....except Tatsuya.

" But like I said I didn't come back here to fight I came back here to deliver a message. And its to you Tatsuya." Ikki spoke as he looked at the young man who just made his way to the back. It would seem as if he wouldn't be completely alone if something went down.

" I don't care how many pranks you pull on the school, it doesn't bother me...but if you ever come here to fight....." Ikki fired up his air trecks as he speed past Tatsuya, stopping a few inches behind him. " If you ever come here to hurt my friends....I will see to it that I kill you....understand?" He spoke as his tone turned deadly and he began to give off a demonic energy as his eyes flared up red.

" But please enjoy your time in the city.....but be careful, you have made some powerful enemies..." He spoke as he turned to leave. In truth the rest of them he could care less about, but Tatsuya stirred something within Ikki that made him want to fight, that made him crave it. It was a feeling he couldn't describe.

"Tatsuya," the band's frontman answered Izumi as he shook his hand slowly and then turned his gaze back to Ikki. The newcomer must have been new to the school as he wasn't frothing at the mouth for a chance to fight them. Ikki had shot off the usual heroic drivel everyone at Hyakuji seemed fond of making.

"Anyways," Tatsuya continued, "For the time being we're still puppets. So if we do come to fight it's not on our own will. If you and your classmates were smarter you'd have figured it out by now instead of just wanting to sling a punch at the first possible target. We have to get things packed away so we don't have time for this right now. Come on, everyone..."

Turning, Tatsuya began to walk away further backstage to head towards the VIP that had been granted to them by Underground 10. Following his lead, one by one, each member of River City Ransom turned and began to walk away until only Aya was left. Her face seemed to hold a deep level of sorrow and her lips parted as if she was about to speak, but she hesitated.

Shuffling in place she finally spoke up, "I don't mean to offend you, Ikki-san, but you really shouldn't be so hard on them. They did all this to help me... they didn't have a choice. I can't.... I can't say more...but..." Turning she walked away following after the rest of the band, but as she moved a crumpled piece of paper dropped from her grasp. If anyone present tried to call after her about dropping it she simple sped up her step vanishing as she rushed to catch up to the others.

However, whoever was first to pick up the paper and open it would find the contents rather surprising. Written in Aya's own perfect and careful handwriting were three words. Three words that would make everything that had been troubling the school clear:

"Kaimu High School.....my Japanese may be a bit rusty, but what the heck is a Kaimu and why haven't I heard of this place until now?" Shad muttered the name of the enemy, upon picking up the slip of paper off the floor. He was going over plans of attack in his head when those musicians left the area, kicking himself for thinking too slowly and not being quick enough. 'Next time, I'll neutralize the Counter-Speller up close.' He thought, knowing that guy was now one of his top priorities.

"And you. I still owe you a painful and gruesome punishment for hurting my spine over at the mountain." Shad hissed at Izumi, who foolishly gave away his full name to him. "Not to mention kicking my hat into a 50 mph highway, which I admit was scary as heck with all those near-misses and collisons. I do hope you came here not just to greet the band but also to apologize for kicking my hat."

One does not simply eat one packet of mee goreng
"Why the hell do I want to apologize to you?" He growled, bending down and glaring at the short one with clear intent of flattening him like a pancake. Damn, this guy is frikkin' annoying, for a reason he himself do not seem to know. "As if I'd care about some moss-obsessed short-stuff. ...Gimme that," And true to his word. Noticing the small slip of paper in his hand, without any warning, he immediately snatched it away for himself to read.

Sure. Clear. Indeed. Very clear. Not to the newcomer, though, as he stared blankly at the piece of paper in the shorty's hand. Kaimu High School? Well, OBVIOUSLY it's another high school. But of course, not the one to know anything about whatever happened that stirred so much hostility between the band and the two, uh... classmate (assumed) of his here, he simply concluded that they were a band from a school called Kaimu High School. Of course... just because a slip of paper was dropped by one of them doesn't exactly make them students of said school...

At least, that's what he thought.

"Pah. Whatever,"
He spat, tossing the piece of paper over his shoulder, letting it flutter delicately to the ground. He then marched forward towards the exit, with as much concern about whatever that had just happened as he would with mosses.

...He's not deaf, though. The conversation between the band and the two classmate of his was, in a way, intriguing.
