Aiko lies down in the grass, and looks up at the clouds. "Ahh, what a beautiful day." she said while she was all relaxed. Aiko found a leaf, crawled over to it, and picked it up. "I'll put this is my nature collection." Aiko sighed. The leaf was all brown, since it was winter. She took out a plastic bag, placed the leaf inside, and sealed it. Aiko then lied back down. |

Taiyou decided to go out for a while, after what has been going on at school. He wanted a break away from the strange and bizarre events that happen daily. The cool winter breeze was blowing the dead leaves across the street that Taiyou was walking on. For a nature person like himself, he really hated the cold. He was dressed in a long sleeve sweater and jeans, completes with a scarf and head cap. The mild coldness was creeping in trough Taiyou's body, causing his body to shiver. "God I really hate the cold," Taiyou said to himself as he crossed the street. He loved to be outside, but the cold winters keeps him inside for the most part. Taiyou wanted to head to park he hasn't visited yet and relax for the rest of the afternoon. He planned on sleeping for a while, and brought a blanket with him in his backpack. As he found the park that he was looking for, he noticed something weird about the park. For some reason the park had little to no visitors at all. Taiyou started to feel a little depressed at the sight he had behold. He did love the noise of people talking and moving around to go with the sounds of nature. Heart pressed Taioyu moved on to the center of the park. Before he laid down for his afternoon name he noticed someone else laying on the grass. He could see her blond hair flowing down her back as she seemed to be picking up something. It appeared to be a leaf, a nearly dead on to be exact. She seemed quite disappointing at her lifeless finding. "She was probably looking for something a bit more lively," Taiyou thought to himself. Looking around he quickly found what he was looking for. A green leaf picked up by Taiyou as he examined it. A few tiny holes litter the leaf, but he was she this would be okay. Walking behind this girl, Taiyou crouched down and placed the leaf in front of himself, "If I may ask is this something that you were looking for?" Taiyou said it in a low voice to not scare her and tried to present her with a smile, though the cold was making it hard for him. |

Wrong...in all the right ways.

Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host. But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean. -Maya Angelou Aurora glared as she slammed the door to her apartment. The damn hot water ran out again, and she was cold. It didn't help that it was cold as Shiva's tits out here in Japan, and all she had to stay the cold was a thin jacket. And she had to go to work in this skimpy uniform? It was needless to say that Aurora was not happy; not in the least bit. She stormed through the park to get to work, not paying attention to where she was going and not caring about what was going on around her. "Damnit...I better not be late..." Aurora checked her watch and saw that at the rate she was going, at the speed she was traveling, she was going to be a half and hour early. Aurora sighed and looked up at the gray day, sighing and kicking up dead leaves. She hated winter; hated how everything died at this time a year and how all the little teeny boppers thought it was "cuddle weather". This romance stuff just got in her way. Still walking and looking up at the sky, lost in her thoughts about eyes as gray as the clouds above, Aurora tripped over a pair of feet. It didn't take much for her to catch herself, but the fact that she was lost in thought enough to trip over a pair of feet only further fueled her irrational anger. Aurora turned around, her red hair sweeping around in her ponytail. Some blond haired chick was laying in a pile of dead leaves, and her boyfriend stood, shivering over her. "God, don't you kids have somewhere to go?" Aurora growled, shoving her hands into her pockets angrily. "Isn't there a school or something around here?" Don't get it wrong, Aurora wasn't mad at the kids, she was mad at herself. But that didn't mean she was going to act nice and friendly--that wasn't her M.O. It did mean, however, that she was going to snap at the smallest things she saw. Unfortunately, that meant these poor kids were her targets. Put a firecracker in water and watch it spurt angrily before going out; that was Aurora in her finest moments. |

Winter with no snow. What was the world coming to? Even despite the definite lack of white powder dusting the skeletal tree branches and ground the wind was bitter, plucking at scarves and reaching icy fingers down the back of necks. Already Adele found herself wishing she had worn something heavier than a sweatshirt, the hood pulled up to both keep her hair intact and trap some of the heat escaping from her body. She hadn't even had the forethought to bring along a scarf, stupidly believing that it would be plenty warm where she was going. Wrong. So far Japan had proven to be anything but, with the exception of the day she had arrived. She was pretty much positive that the weather was taunting her for being unprepared by making it so ridiculously cold, laughing at her as she shivered up and down the streets, searching for a grocery store like some stupid, illiterate hobo. Surely there had to be someplace here in this damnable town that catered to a woman of her refined tastes. In other words, Easy Mac and Campbel's soup, the kind of 5-star cuisine that she had grown up on as a lass. So far, though, there was only rice and fish, the latter of which was staring at her with a goggly-eyed intensity that was most certainly not appetizing. Yes, fresh food was all well and good, but what did that have to do with making a hamburger? Nothing unless you wanted to add fish to your burger, something she most certainly did not. Hands shoved deep into the recesses of her pockets, shoulders up about her ears, it was almost too easy to miss what others would have considered a touching little scene on the hilltop. A pale-haired girl examining a dead and decaying leaf, at least until a boy brought her a green one. Charming, really. Unfortunately for them, Adele didn't do charming. Nonetheless, there was something quaint about the little play unfolding as she watched the hilltop through narrowed eyes, wondering exactly what they had done to deserve such nice childhoods. No matter. That wasn't for her to decide, after all. She was about to turn away when another form came wandering up the hill, gaze fixed elsewhere, somehow managing to trip over the only pair of feet extended in a five mile radius. Had she been a kinder person, Adele would have attempted to stifle her laugh. Being Adele she did no such thing, especially as the woman lashed out at the children for her own misgivings. Priceless, actually. Before she was even aware of where her feet were taking her the Italian woman was climbing the hill, swift, silent steps drawing her closer to the motley trio, unable to resist the temptation of a good confrontation. What could she say? Life had been extremely boring as of late. "Now now," Adele tsked, not bothering to mask her snide tone, "Don't go blaming some kids all wrapped up in their puppy-dog love for your inability to walk straight." She had finally come to a halt, hands still jammed into her pockets for warmth though standing straighter than before, no longer hunched over to keep warm. The faintest hint of a smirk was tugging at the corners of her lips, eyes, as always, devoid of emotion. "It's not becoming of a lady," she added derisively, not even bothering to make the vaguest hint at an apology. If she was this cold maybe and argument would warm her up. |

The winter was all quiet to Aiko when it was cold without any snow. "Dang it..... I just wish there was snow. I could play around in it and have snowball fights which would be so much fun. It snows in the mountains, though." Aiko raced to the mountains while thinking what to do there. She thought of doing something incredible. It was building the biggest snowman in the world. |

The insensitive words of the raging redhead, caused Taiyou to drop the leaf he had pinched between his pointer finger and thumb. From his squatted position, Taiyou stood straight up for a few seconds. The harsh words rang through Taiyou's ears, making him a bit irritated. What Taiyou truly hates most in this world is people with a rude, disrespectful personality. With this said, Taiyou made his move as soon as he stop this train of thought. Whirling around to face this unwelcome guest, Taiyou immediately moved right only a few inches away from her. His face was on her left, no more then three inches apart from each other. Taiyou looked dead at her cheeks, making sure not to break his sight from her. "No, we both don't have anything else to do but laze around in this park," Taiyuo said sarcastically, trying to match up her statement. At this time someone else came out of the blue. Taiyou didn't take his stare away as he heard the words "Don't go blaming some kids all wrapped up in their puppy-dog love for your inability to walk straight." came ringing down to his eardrums. This new woman's words had partially truths, but Taiyou wanted to make something clear to both of the. He pointed his right index finger at the little blond hair girls postion saying "We are not boyfriend or girlfriend, we just meet not more then a minute ago." Taiyou had a strange feeling at that moment and stopped his death stare at the redhead and had a look. He was right to look, as for some reason the blond haired girl wasn't there. Looking around, Taiyou could see the girl running off towards what seemed to be a mountain. This sight really did put a confused expression on Taiyou's face. |
