"If I may darling, but this does not concern you nor do I wish to hurt you, because you are not the target of... my anger?" "Too bad," replied Chizu, her red eyes narrowing dangerously. Her voice was low, coming out almost in a growl as she glared at Roz. "Because the way you're going, you'll be the target of mine." She glanced at Nickle as the lightning around him suddenly changed color, her eyes widening. Kinclex? Or was it a ploy on Nickle's part? It was hard to read, but what wasn't hard to read was the effect it had on Roz. "M-My choice... Is to fight against you... and Arcadia." Stupid... "My choice..... is........to... FIGHT!" Red flames rushed outwards from Roz, heading towards Chizu. Her eyes narrowed and she pushed off on the air with her hands, a blast of wind launching her higher up into the air as she avoided the blast. The wind behind her twisted around the flames, smothering them as quickly as she could. Wind whipped around her, sharp and cold against her skin as it tugged at the fabric of her clothing. Loose fabric flapped around her, the rustling sound filling her ears as she righted herself, hovering again. Her fist clenched, she drew the air into it, preparing to counterattack, when she saw Nickle move. She stopped for a moment, her fist clenched so tight that it trembled. ...Why? Why would anyone pick Wo Shing over Arcadia? She couldn't understand it. Or maybe it was that she didn't want to. Because admitting that she understood it would be admitting that she had once been that way, that had it not been for the decisions she made, for the friends that had stood by her, for the people that had both kept her sane and been brave enough to call her out on her mistakes, she could have been in Roz's place. The people that had helped her get strong...Damon, Nickle, Lavender, Kaede, Coryn, and Jameson...and the people that now were now dependent on her strength...Setsuna, Quinn, her aeromancy students, even Spike...She had a responsibility to them. A responsibility to be who she was now, and never again fall back into this. This insanity, this desperation...The willingness to fight and throw away her own life... She never wanted to be there again. She didn't enter the fight between Nickle and Rozanny. Instead, she forced herself to watch. Because she understood that she didn't have a place in the fight. Nickle had made it personal, had made it his own. She knew that, and she could respect it. Respected it enough to not look away, even when it was clear how it was going to end. Even as it ended. She felt a tremor run through her body, could feel her shoulders shake, her mouth setting itself into a tight line. But she didn't look away. Because somebody had to bear witness. Somebody had to share. Because she understood. She knew that this would leave a heavy burden on him...that no matter how inevitable it was, it would hurt. And she couldn't help him if she looked away, couldn't take some of the burden onto herself. She let the air beneath her drop, landing on the ground in a crouch across from him. Chizu stood up and met Nickle's eyes. She didn't say anything, she didn't move towards him, didn't try to hold or touch him in any way. There wasn't anything she could do or say that wouldn't trivialize it, that wouldn't make it seem like nothing happened here. Instead, she just faced him, and hopefully he would be able to read it in her expression, in her eyes. She was never good at offering comfort, at expressing love. So she didn't try. What she could offer, she did, silently. Understanding, and ultimately acceptance. Strength, if he needed to take some of hers for the moment. Loyalty. A willingness to share the burden. All those things, she offered where she stood, waiting quietly for his reaction. |

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)

"I wonder why these Wo-Shing would want so many containers filled with gasoline." Shad sniffed, trying to understand the meaning behind the pile of burnt corpses next to a few plastic containers filled with fossil fuel. Naturally, he was used to the smell of dead people being torched so it didn't really bug him a lot. The other Riotroopers who escorted him to this seemingly abandoned room, on the other hand, retched and quickly left for the nearest bathroom. So far, he had seen a few of the crimes that Wo Shing were guilty of in different rooms, but wasn't sure what to make of them. Granted, he had never seen a modern crime so he was a bit ignorant on criminal doings, so he kept writing in his notebook about what he encountered. Once in a while, he checked the dead bodies in the hallways that the others took out for ID or at least a wallet with a driver's license. Sadly, no luck. It was if the goons had no identity to speak of, and it was unlikely the survivors would talk under pressure. "Oh well, no hidden stairs here. Might as well write it down." He muttered, writing the offenses seen into his notebook for the time being. After all, it wasn't as if the building would blow up, destroying all of the evidence in one swoop. Shad also made a note about spray paint on the walls in japanese, so he'll come back with cleaning supplies to mop it up properly as he walked out with one of the full gas containers in his right hand, the shotgun in his left. The gas can was mostly for evidence since his gloves didn't have fingerprints on them to begin with. |

IZUNAAAA DROP!
|
Dominique took a deep (unnecessary) breath to clear the (nonexistent) butterflies from her (equally nonexistent) stomach. "It's...SHOWTIME!!" She cried, her voice booming through the intercom and shaking the cavernous walls as the engines on the dragonoid ship suddenly went into overdrive. With little effort she activated the hanger's launch prep, a pair of massive doors opening slowly in front of her. The technopathic terror could hardly contain her excitement, nearly blowing the doors off the hanger herself to just get them to open that much faster. Far above the light of day began to shine down into the shaft, illuminating the area and shimmering on the ship's fearsome metal carapace. It was time. On the surface a few hundred yards behind the warehouse, the ground began to shake violently. Concrete in various parts cracked like lightning bolts with fissures forming far and wide across a massive area. Beneath the concrete, a large pair of metal doors began to open, revealing the giant hanger hidden beneath the surface. Deep and cavernous, even the light shining down didn't quite allow one to see the bottom. But down below a bright light shimmered in the distance like a great fire and music began to echo forth, growing louder the closer it came. The great dragon-shaped frame grew quicker and quicker as it accelerated upwards, the music barely remaining clear over the echoing roar of the engines. All at once it seemed to explode into the sky, obliterating the clouds as it shot up like a dark god escaping its hellish prison. Sitting in front of the sun its shadow covered the battlefield as it slowly floated above the invading Arcadian forces. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" A hyper, feminine voice yelled excitedly, her voice washing over everyone like a great energizing blanket designed to inspire anticipation in its wearers. "The moment you've all been waiting for! The concert of a lifetime! The celebrity you all love and admire! The delightful DJ, the jovial jockey! The Technopathic Terror herself: Dominique Q. Rosenblade is here!!!" The warship slowly lowered itself above the main stage, the battlefield with weapons and disco lights arming simultaneously. "And you're in for one hell of a night!" Dominique giggled, sounding astoundingly genuine rather than uncomfortably threatening. "Hmm...maybe that to die for pun was better...Ah~ I guess I should ask Ada, she didn't really tell me what she thought before. Hm? The intercom is still on?! Shit shit shit! Wait, now the album will have to be rated higher cause I swore...can we charge more for an uncensored album? Let's do that! Oh wait, it's still--" A click signaled the shutoff of the com as stage lights suddenly began to fold out of the hull. At the same time, a large array of AA cannons pointed downward at the enemy force. "Wo Shing Headquarters, ARE YOU READY TO PARTY?!" Dominique shouted as a simultaneous explosion of music and gunfire suddenly shook the air. "Let the farewell tour begin." She said with disturbing smirk. |

Lilith chuckled, Jameson seemed to be a child at the moment. A crying child, having a temper tantrum. But as he sent down the lightning the men fell, Ada would be struck forward, almost a resuscitating her as her chest jerked upward from the strike. Lilith's eyes closed as the lighting fell upon her, so he would choose the path which would only lead to one thing. Retaliation. Jameson could never let the hate the stop with him, instead he brought this hate to the forefront against them. Her experience in such a world was very clear and her age had shown, sure she did it but it she understood what it would respond with. Would he? She cried in pain but managed to let out, "HAHAHAHA," the pain almost inspiring her further to kill him. Her lust to destroy him, to rip his throat countless times and torture him despite however he may plead and ask against it. "Your calling the kettle black aren't you, some defender some protector! Your but a blood stained tyrant, mad with power just like Ishida aren't you? Wait, at least he remained honorable but you...Caligula! Nero! Those must be the real Caesars that ugly bastard represents!" Lilith retorted with contempt, her eyes burning passionately but they closed, she'd be the bigger person even if she was a demon. To think she'd be put into such a corner over the life of another human, it was not a story she'd take put with much pride but... "But I will do it." she added as she got back up, as she moved her hand over towards the communicator while placing two fingers on her temple casually and the thumb on to the communicator. Making it all part of the motion, but she was preparing her ki all through her body for her grand attack. Her other hand remained clenched as her eyes kept closed. Taking a deep breath, concentrating on doing it and remaining calm, she remembered the final thing that Dominique had told them. Kill all those in the Wo Shing base proximity, she'd stall him to her death in this physical realm and return to hell with Jameson. This would be their tomb shared, where they would share in hell as well. She would give them a speech of a true commander, for this was a swan song. "All Four-Niners, you are ordered to stand down and surrender. Immediately. My fondest wish was to see ourselves free on a magnificent ship commanded by an angel to our freedom but alas, we stayed grounded to our tenets, we defended this place honorably unlike those before us. May the angels sing a glorious hymn, beautiful music for our fallen comrades and may we hear it upon our deaths for serving our sentences, Lilith out." the demon ordered. Hopefully Dominique had caught her references to her about the ship calling her an angel and about her music. She played the part looking slightly defeated but saw the demon-Ada getting up, hearing her speech...Ada shook her head slightly, as she began to walk down the hallway with tears in eyes but remaining strong. She understood clearly from the communication what her partner in crime was attempting. Ada could not take what she was doing for granted, the shock had made her body adapt to things faster and she was still in action. Edited by Zero, Nov 20 2010, 05:07 PM.

Alastor didn't exactly get too far amidst all the commotion that was going on. He had wanted to try reach the stairs and get below, but the Wo-Shing thugs seemed endless, not matter how easily he and Selene's valkyrie managed to cut them down. "Dammit, this is-" Alastor stopped dead as he felt the ground beneath him begint to tremble. In fact it began to quake! He could see cracks forming throughout the cement as he was near enough to the door with Selene and her valkyrie. As the shaking and quaking increased, Alastor shouted out, "Turn around! Something's coming!" -------------------------------------------------------- Nickle stood there for a moment, looking over Rozanny's body as she slowly faded away from the world, closing his eyes for a moment. He knew Chizu was there. He'd felt her land next to him. There were a thousand things running through his mind right now, a thousand things he wanted to scream and shout and cry about. However, it wasn't the right time to do that. He opened his eyes and looked at her, not wanting to show her any weakness. That was one thing about their relationship, they were both strong and as such, didn't show each other their weaknesses out of concern for the other worrying too much. Nickle was even worse about because he had his pride as a man. However, the fact that they both knew this was there. She knew how hard it was and knew he was going through a tough time. He appreciated not coming up to him and hugging him to make it better. They were in a battle, now wasn't the time or the place. "Chizu...I..." Nickle wasn't given the luxury of finishng his sentence as he began to feel the ground beneath him crack and split. Something big was coming! He could feel it under his feet and with his body. It felt like a city was busy raising itself out of the earth! So much electrictricity! Nickle ran towards Chizu, sheathing Kaneryuu in such a precise motion it showed hours, if not days of practice to get it perfect. He grabbed her and took off, aiming to exit through the hole in the ceiling and not a moment too soon either! Just as Nickle clearly the airspace above the warehouse, he saw a ship that looked like something out of a mecha campaign emerge. Had Eiji had that thing under his command all this time!? His grip on Chizu tightened and he gritted his teeth. This was the worst kind of trump card to be faced with. That ship would tear half the city apart before anyone could really do anything about it. Nickle flew towards a rooftop that seemed pretty much safe and placed Chizu down. "I'll be back. Stay alert and don't do anything stupid." Nickle looked over hsi shoulder at the ship, about to turn and face the ship full on and strike, but stopped, turning back to Chizu for a moment. He looked at her, his gaze hard and unreadable as to what powerful emotions boiled under the surface of it. However, they all released in one way. Nickle kissed Chizu. Full on and passionately. The split second of euphoria was over as soon as it had begun. Nickle turned, taking a run up off of the roof and spreading his wings to fly directly at the airborn ship. Nickle served around the cannon fired as best he could before shouting out, "Storm King!" and transforming his body into a living lightning bolt and firing himself at the ship. He impacted, but he wasn't planning on doing any real damage to it from the exterior. Thanks to the free-forming ability his elemental boy provided, he was able to move along the ship's metal to one of its access points. Once inside, he could easily move along the metal of the circuits and take the thing down from the inside! At least that was his plan anyway. Who knows what awaited him inside this thing. There was definately someone inside after all those announcements. There was possibly a crew as well. He had to be on high alert. |

The last of the guards were finally dispatched with a throw into a nearby concrete wall by Hajime when the whole place suddenly shook again, more powerful this time and lasted longer than before. Dread immediately filled his heart, and he wondered if he took too long to take out these Wo Shing mooks. Without waiting for the rest of the Riotroopers to finish up and regroup, Hajime immediately bolted for the doorway that was now open to them, running at full pelt while wondering a hundred things that he could possibly find on the other end of the door. When he finally reaches the end of it, he came out to a very large chamber that Hajime could tell right away was a mechanical hangar, and that what it was holding here earlier and the source of the dread that Hajime was feeling all this time was slowly rising out of it into the sky; a large, black dragonoid machine of grotesque design. Sound Cue: Grotesque Figures ~Battle with the Colossus~ “Sir, orders?” Turning around, Hajime saw that his Riotrooper platoon has already regrouped with him, and some were similarly looking up to see the giant dragon ship rising up into the sky, their helmet hiding whatever emotions that were going through them. “Get back to the surface and spread the word to all combatants; get everyone to evacuate the area as soon as possible.” Hajime said after some thought. “That thing is going to cause some civilian casualty if we’re not careful, now go!” “Sir, what about you?” The platoon asks. “I’m gonna go up there and see if I can stop that thing.” Hajime replied earnestly, before turning around and sending a telepathic message to Machine Tornador which he had left on the surface to come to him. "Don't worry, just go; this isn't a farewell." Sound Cue: A Despair-filled Farewell ~Battle with the Colossus~ The Riotroopers quietly acknowledged, maybe with some doubts of course and also some worry for their appointed leader, but reached the consensus however that they won’t be able to do much now but leave this in the hand of their more capable Riders. As the last one finally exited the hangar, Machine Tornador finally flew in from above the ceiling door where the dragon ship went out from, and slowly hovers down besides Hajime. Without wasting time, Hajime jumps up over the railing to land deftly on top of the bike, before making it fly away again high up into the sky fast. As he approaches it, he finds it ironic that he himself, a dragon would take on another dragon, albeit a mechanical one at that. It was like a battle out of a fictional epic story, and one that Hajime hopes to win at all cost. As the dragon ship began filling the sky with a veritable wall of AA gunfire to which Hajime could only swerve, turn and even barrel roll to avoid them as he closes in on the ship, he focuses to calm himself and clear of all otherwise useless thoughts, to reach the Nirvana of his own inner strength, to revive the combined power of his basic forms. Sound Cue: Revived Power ~Battle with the Colossus~ The Alter Ring around his waist began to shine an ethereal glow and letting out a repeating sound of ominous charging that was constant and level. Taking a deep breath and letting it out, Hajime then presses the buttons on either side of the belt with the palm of his hands, finally allowing the sound to pick up in frequency and whine higher and faster. When it finally reaches the crux of its charge, the dragon crest horns on his helmet splits opens into six, and his form blurred and shined in an instant, before revealing his change into Agito Trinity Form. Once he was near, and noting that someone familiar was also making his reach for the dragon ship, the sigil of Agito appeared before him, and he immediately made Machine Tornador suddenly brake in mid air, which launches Hajime forward with his feet pointing at the side of the dragon ship’s hull: he too doubt if he can destroy or disable the ship from outside at least so he decided to Rider Shooting Kick his was in and maybe find a weak spot inside. |

"Yooooooooooosh!" The giant ship showing up only meant one thing, Kouta would let go of the Gouram and transform back into his Mighty Form, with the giant bug merely catching him on his back while it avoided the AA fire...aimed at the ground for whatever reason...by remaining high up in the air undisturbed. With that, Kouta felt it was time to call forth an old friend, one he hadn't used in a long time but felt the necessity to do so... "ROBOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Within the downtown area several houses and buildings began moving out of the way for whatever reason, revealing a gigantic metal hangar door that opened up and began raising two gigantic constructs of red and gold: a jet fighter and a robot that stood a good fifty meters. Upon Kouta's call they had launched forth and flew towards the warehouse district... "G-COMBINATION!" And with that, the two vehicles of justice combined in middair while Kouta and the Gouram flew towards it: the G-Thundergate became a jetpack with two large cannons folding over the shoulders while the head of the birdlike craft became a crown that completed the Kaiser's look...to which Kouta would jump off the giant bug and into the green gem that adorned its forehead, being teleported to the core of the machine and activating it fully. With a single eye flash, the machine was on as Kouta roared... ![]() "G-COMPATIBLE KAISER!" Of course, with Kouta's sister no longer present as the G-Thundergate's pilot, Kouta was piloting the powerful machine on his own, operating at with less efficiency now that he had to manage the entirety of its systems by himself. Regardless it was a showdown between the ship and himself...meaning that he had to work twice as hard in order to save the city...of course trying to use his stronger attacks would prove to be troublesome...so instead he had to start off simpler while he adjusted to everything... Kouta clamped his two hands together, the blue gems on the back of the hands began glowing while the rocket thrusters that were at the end of each forearm began powering up. All that was left for the command that would actually launch the attack...! "DOUBLE SPIRAL KNUCKLE!" The two forearms intertwined by their fingers launched forth, before rotating in midair as they streaked towards their target. The speed of their rotation increased more and more, creating a giant tornado that followed the projectile, aiming to tear through everything and anything that stood in its path: the giant ship! The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)

Shad skidded to a stop, checking behind, both sides and to the front for the source of the weird shaking beneath his feet. His fear of advanced technology was getting larger by the second, sending shivers down his spine and rattling his teeth, his knees wavering in and out. "W-what is this? Where's the voice-" And then the roof fell apart like wet cardboard, falling in chunks all around him interrupting his sentence. Thankfully, none of the chunks crashed down upon him, but he was overtaken just the same just by staring up into the disco lights. His jaw dropped and began to foam wildly, his eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets and tearing up and his nose dripping two streams of blood down on the floor. Also, his underwear became a bit extra gassy than usual as a result, since this was his phobia working on overtime. He didn't even notice all the machine guns and AA cannons lined up that the giant airship had, he could only stare in a complete daze as the color drained from his skin. In his head, he could recall the terror of walking into the world of modern man, dodging cars in the streets as well as motorcycles and other mechanical vehicles that seemed possessed. Likewise, he thought televisions had somehow trapped humans inside and attempted to free them, only to find out later that it was broadcasted. How embarrassing. Wait....there was something off about this machine. Even with the lights shining down on him, a rough shape could be taken upon squinting his eyes. The blood flow from his nose and the foam in his mouth stopped and reversed itself until the color was back in his flesh again. His eyes refocused, the glasses shading the pupils for a better look-see at the behemoth above him. "Is that....a dragon? It must be a dragon, nothing man-made can be that big and fly." The violent shuddering of his body stopped, as he cracked up with laughter, holding his stomach and laughing with joy that it was nothing more than a over-sized, obose metallic-like dragon with some weapons attached to it. Shad breathed a sign of relief that it wasn't a machine, but knew that he had to begin taking out the long-ranged weapons that it carried. "Boy, is my face red." he chuckled, placing down the rifle club but held into the gas canister. "In any case, might as well do my thing." Already, he began to do the math in his head, aligning distance and velocity between him and the metal beast to get a firm gathering of it's full measurements. |

Jameson grinned broadly to the woman. "So even you can be reasonable.." He clutched his hands into tight balls. "Then let's proceed..." He said firmly.. The persona shifted, reaching out with his arm he gathered a new more massive power... "first up.. I activate the aura... ELECTRIC AMP!" Suddenyl the air itself began to crackle with energy. all aorudn anyoen whom used ELECTRIC POWER or ELECTRIC TYPE ATTACKS would fidn their power had just increased dramatically. Meanwhile Caesar wasn't done yet. "Ziodyne!" This time all the smaller bolts from before came down as one massive enormously powerful electric pillar straight for the girl. "Second up.... Physical mastry!" Jameson extended his arms drawing in the power of Cesar. His body suddenly pulsed with power. His muscles tightened as his entire body became stronger. His eyes narrowed as he clutched his hands into fists.. For the first time in his life... he felt STRONG. Really strong! It was amazing! He dashed in at full speed clutching his hand into a ball as he took a swing at her face! Edited by Cypriss, Nov 21 2010, 06:01 AM.

"Shadow Six-Actual, to all Platoons, get clear as soon as you can. This place is a mess." It would be the last order she'd give them for the battle, she knew. There wasn't much left to it, and there wasn't much point. It was curious mix of the battle being both under control and horribly out of it. The quicksilver nature of warfare was well known to those who lived on the battlefield, but to anyone else, the strange paradox between order and chaos, victory and defeat, strength and weakness, occurring for everyone simultaneously was not something easily understood. Troops took cover at the roar of anti-aircraft guns fired at the ground. The weapons used by the Riotroopers were simply not rated to bring down a capital ship. Even Sidebasshar and Jet Sliger, the most heavily armed of the support vehicles, were at most meant for antitank roles. This was just a little beyond what "normal" equipment was designed to deal with, and so all they could do about at this point was to deal with the remaining casualties for evac, quickly loading up vehicles with the injured and dying and driving them away, to a safer, more secure location for proper treatment. Meanwhile, after sending Kouta aboard his robot, the Gouram made another round to the burning battlefield, and stopped near Miyuki, beckoning the Rider to get aboard. "Please manage the rest. I'll leave organising and cleaning up what's left to you." she told her subordinate "There shouldn't be much left to do, in anycase." "You sure about this Captain?" Otogiri asked, almost reading her mind. "I've never been accused of keeping myself out of trouble." she joked, before hopping aboard the Gouram. The Riotrooper gave her a quick salute before resuming the business of coordinating the platoons. There were still people lying around, and those without a means of getting out of this battlefield were to whisked away to somewhere that wasn't in danger of being vaporised by a giant robot battle. Meanwhile, riding the mechanical bug like a surfboard, Miyuki rapidly approached the CompatiKaiser as it engaged the Dragomashin, and leaped in front of it's head. A moment and a flash later, she found herself in the cockpit of the docked support vehicle. |

As Selene and Alastor fought their way deeper into the Wo Shing hideout the body count continued to rack up as Alastor and her Valkyrie mowed down the thugs that had been trying to stop them, and at this point the English heiress was starting to get a little queasy over all the bloodshed. All of which felt pointless to her - what was it with all those Wo Shing thugs and their blind loyalty to the gang? Progress was slow and painful - even though none of what Wo Shing had thrown at them thus far had presented a significant threat to Selene, the Valkyrie, and Alastor they were certainly doing a good job at slowing them down and preventing them from getting to the lower levels of the hideout. The corporate heiress could only wonder - just how many citizens of Hyakuji had sold their souls in service of Wo Shing? It was easy to lose track of time under such circumstances, but Selene felt that give or take it had barely been half an hour since the start of the assault. Eventually however, the corporate heiress became aware that for some reason or another the waves of Wo Shing thugs had thinned out and finally stopped altogether. Either the order had been given by their superiors, whoever they might be - been given for them to pull out, or they'd run out of henchmen to throw at the coalition of Arcadians and Riotroopers. "It's just like that time..." Selene murmured under her breath - after Hiro's mass rally at Traverse Town ended with a surprise assault from Heartless they'd all swarmed towards the cross gate and took the battle to the World That Never Was. However, the respite in the action appeared to be a prologue to something worse. There was little time for introspection as the warehouse hideout appeared to shake - first a slight rumble, which caused the English heiress to wonder if it was another tremor that an earthquake-prone nation like Japan tends to experience every now and then. And then it got worse, and the entire Wo Shing hideout felt like it was quaking right down to its foundations. "Turn around! Something's coming!" Selene could hear Alastor call out to her over the rumbling and quaking, and at this point the hideout appears to have had it as the structure began to heave and give way, cracks appearing on the floor and such. "Cor blimey, look at that!" Selene gasped as she pointed skywards through a hole in the roof - and what was once the sky she instead saw the massive frame of an airborne mechanoid, shaped like a dragon. But what shocked the English heiress was the voice that came on air that told her just who was controlling the thing. "Dominique!?" Selene exclaimed in disbelief. She'd lost all contact with the DJ since the Kingdom Hearts incident. But just how did she come to be under Wo Shing? Selene flinched as a rain of gunfire descended upon what was left of the Wo Shing hideout. "Alastor! We need to get out of here!" the English heiress called out worriedly, afraid that the structure could collapse on them at any moment. Lavender had felt it - those air currents could only be made by thrusters, and really big ones at that. Whatever created those air currents were probably also responsible for the tremors that were now so intense they were threatening to bring the house down upon their heads - and the fact that the structure had been significantly compromised during the earlier battle wasn't helping at all. "Bloody hell!" The aeromancer cursed as part of the ceiling collapsed on a nearby doorway, preventing her from backtracking, more curses followed as automatic cannon fire ripped through the room she was in, the aeromancer raising her telekinetic shield just in time to avoid getting shredded by a barrage of autocannon fire and energy beams. An explosion behind Lavender drew her attention to a squad of Riotroopers that had just blown a hole in the wall, who were apparently in the midst of getting as many people evacuated from the scene as possible, and in all honesty she couldn't have hoped for a better timing. "Thanks troopers!" Lavender expressed her gratitude as she bolted out of the hole made in the wall, with merely a split second to spare before the ceiling gave way, making her way out of the warehouse hideout and out into the open to behold an awesome and at the same time terrifying sight. The aeromancer could only watch agape with shock at the spectacle that loomed in the sky above her. "What could I do?" Lavender thought. Given the size of that thing even her best aeromancy attacks probably wouldn't even register as a scratch on this mechanized behemoth. But where her powers would fail, her special ops training and battlefield experience might just provide the answer. Or at least that was what she'd like to believe - if only she could get her hands on some C4 or similar explosive charges; she might be able to fly up to the thing and possibly gain entry to its interior by using an explosive device to blow a hole in a blind spot. But in the meantime, the aeromancer kept her distance from the scene of an impending mecha rumble, doing her best to help by not getting herself into trouble. |

IZUNAAAA DROP!

"Good sweet crap! Fans rushing the stage already, I hadn't counted on being THIS popular!" Dominique lamented excitedly. It wasn't unusual for someone so talented and beautiful to be desired by so many at once, but they were going to kill the concert before she killed them at this point! And that simply couldn't happen. "Sorry, sorry but none of you have backstage passes to this show, you're just supposed to enjoy the music then die!" She said very matter-of-factly. This was why people put out fliers for concerts in advance, it kept mixups like this from happening. You know like '20$ cover charge' and 'no flash photography' except in this case it was more like 'enjoy the concert peacefully, then get blown to smithereens!' Was that really so hard to understand? "Graviton Shroud up! Ugh, you guys are already inside aren't you? You're starting to really annoy me and that's no way to get an autograph!" With the slight mood shift, the lights suddenly started using fewer primary colors and more dark reds and blues, dampening the mood of her music as well. With the barriers online, the spiraling fists of the Compatible Kaiser hit against the Dominique's significant defenses, rattling the ship but protecting the hull. "That's really unfair y'know! This is why show, you don't get to have a ship too!" Whats worse was that his was almost as cool looking as hers, only losing because of the improvements she'd made to the lightning and sound systems which were way clearer and could handle a lot more bass than whatever he was working with. "You can go away now~" she hummed, the giga graviton armament targeting the Kaiser as the rio-troopers and others on the ground were still continually pounded with cannon fire. The force of gravity collected around the mouth of main gun, spiraling purple energy forming into a single massive ball. In a blinding flash it erupted towards the bright red mecha as Dominique's massive brain turned to those who had already entered the ship. Someone or something was winding it's way through her circuits at a pretty fast speed (not fast enough for an integrated AI based an already unfathomably brilliant person to follow) and one of those guys with the fancy cosplay outfits. The hole in the hull was already slowly repairing itself behind him, but Dominique decided to let him be for the moment since he wasn't causing any trouble. Yet. He was in her venue now anyway so if he needed to be bounced, he'd be bounced pretty darn quick! |

Its bedtime! Bed=Ethnic Time=Cleansing

The sounds of breaking bones, was all that could be heard as Ikki ripped the leg off of a man, and threw it to the side. He was still torturing the man, who had shot him earlier, and to be honest he was enjoying it. His dark red eye's shot the man a death stare as he yelled to be killed. " What? Kill you?! But I'm not done playing?....Oh alright you big baby!" He said dryly as he eyed the man. Disgust building in his stomach. How can you call yourself a warrior, but beg for death when you get a couple of limbs ripped off? It was shameful to say the least. Just as he was about to rip off the guys head, the entire complex started shaking. Ikki looked around, trying to see if it was just a Wo-Shing operative who could help him pass the time with a battle. " Hmmm seems like there is a party going on out there! Well don't wanna keep them waiting.... Oh you, eh ill just leave you here, don't worry death will claim you soon. He said as he quickly made his way towards the surface. He had no idea what was going on, but anything was better then the boredom he was having now. ======== " Well hasn't this been a productive day?" Crow said as he rested on a small pile of wo-shing grunts he had dealt with. It seemed as if they had finally given up, which suited Crow fine, he was tired of sending people away in body bags. He turned his gaze upward as he could hear sounds of a battle going on outside. He let out a soft sigh as he stood up. He gently dusted himself off, before taking a look around. " Wo-Shing! Ha! If this is the best they could do, we should have dealt with them a long time ago." He stated as he slowly made his way back top side. |

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
|
Okay, the measurements were in and quite frankly, Shad was a little disappointed. If that flying beast was in fact a dragon, then it was probably only a few years old at best. The few century-old dragons that he knew of were big enough to be mistaken for a small mountain range, preying on small towns once every 20 years. Still, his eyes sparkled for the thrill of hunting a real-live dragon like the elders in his 'lost' village. In any case, it was still a massive target but with guns. At any time, it could turn it's attention towards him and unleash never-ending napalm bursts designed to torch until nothing remains, not even ash. Shad bawked at a old memory of the village graveyard, filled with empty coffins filled only with magic essence of mages that were burned by adult dragons decades before his time, but quickly snapped out of it. 'No sense carrying this around.' He thought, eyeing the gas container. He dashed to the right and moved forward, knowing that currently his magic wouldn't be enough. First, he'll need a strong distraction to keep the dragon from harming him and his friends. Then he'll look for a weak spot and keep blasting the same area over and over until the scales are as brittle as glass. Then finally, he'll fire his flare gun (which is licensed) to signal the other Arcadians to attack that small area. Okay, the plan needed a little revising, but what mattered right now was not holding onto the red gas canister. Since, after all, even a small flame could cause it to detonate prematurely. Jumping over some crumbled parts of roof and stacks of fallen bricks, he made his way out of the fallen warehouse area, only to find Miss Lavender who apparently was trying to keep out of harm's way close by. "Sempai!" He yelled, somewhat out of breath as he ran over to her position and placed the large red container at her feet. "Can you hold onto this highly combustible gasoline container for me? The cap is sealed tight so it won't be dangerous. I have to find Hiro-sensei, now. Thanks!" He didn't give her a chance to say no, running back over to the fallen warehouse and bringing out his special flute from his pocket. 'Now, to find Hiro-sensei so I can at least have some protection against the dragon's attacks when I provide the distraction. ' He thought, awhile searching for Hiro amongst the rubble. |

"Miyuki!? What are you doing in here!? Do you even know what you're doing!?" Kouta was rather surprised at both of his partners, first at the Gouram for picking Miyuki up without the command to do so...and for Miyuki for actually joining him and taking her place in the cockpit Shoko was meant to sit in. On one hand he had a backup pilot now, it still wasn't enough to draw forth the Compatikaiser's full power. "No, I don't...just give me a second to figure everything out." It's really all Miyuki could say on the matter, this was a foreign environment to her and all... After all, the only people capable and authorized to activate the Overgate Engine was the Battle Force. Kouta still had access to that via his brace...however Miyuki lacked such a mechanism on hand. "Man...whatever, just follow my lead and I guess we'll be fine!" Kouta mused with a sigh, not bothering to wait for Miyuki's answers. The ships main gun had been targeted at him, a weapon that reminded Kouta of various other ships...in particular one commanded by the most dysfunctional crew ever. "Hang on! This is going to get rough! E-Field, EXPAND!" Kouta roared, calling forth the yellow spherical shield around the machine while Kouta jerked the controls, pulling up as hard as he could to get as far out of the spheres path as possible. As strong as the barrier was, as strong as the machine's armor was, a direct hit would finish them off. Even then, just being near the thing bypassed the E-Field...to the point where parts of the leg armor were crushed in the process. That was too close. Either way the Spiral Knuckle's returned and docked...and Kouta just continued his attack. From higher up, the units green chest gem began glowing, the initials for BF being illuminated in the process... "HISSATSU! KAISER....BAAAAAAAAASUTO!" A large beam of his own, in the shape of the two gigantic letters shot forth and down at the ship....! Edited by Yosuke, Nov 22 2010, 02:12 AM.
