In answer to Spike's question, Mike responded at first with a silent gaze.

At least with that other guy agreeing to step out of the picture, things went back to being nice and simple for Mikey. Barely smiling, the gargantuan guy began closing the vast distance between them with a long-legged run up.

"Eii~! This is the only time sempai is ACUTALLY making the first move!" Fuu gasped, jumping closer beside Jen and Alexander and adding, "III would know!"

Keeping his eyes up, he was not focussed on "more-trouble-than-he-was-worth," Spike, but actually the set of lockers and combinations behind him. Too busy thinking about how short the kid was and the right moment to bend his knees, his spectators were not sure how successful this vicious tackle was going to be. Even though there was a lot going on, there didn't seem to be as much written on his face...

Fuu took one look at him and with all her insight, she decided to add,
"What a psychopath!! Can the pit stains on his shirt BE any more obvious, Jen-chan?"

Sorry for the huge-ass delay on this post... Like 2 whole weeks...
Spike was taken head on by tackle and slammed into the lockers. His head shook as it hit the locker. That hadn't really been something he'd seen coming. Well, he might have if he'd been paying attention, but he'd been unsure what was going on when it happened. He should have just jumped whoever was attacking. That sort of thing worked.

Well, it was no time for some damn retrospective. Spike's back was against the lockers and Mike was right in front of him. You couldn't just press from a tackle and expect to win so this was a chance to counter-attack.

Pulling his arms up he grabbed onto Mike's sleeves, then Spike slammed his head at Mike's. A head-butt might not be the best move, but he was a bit pinned at the moment so he didn't have much choice. "Heh heh." Spike was still excited for the battle to continue

As the lockers rattled, Mike raised his fist about to drive it into the spunky boy's nose when he realized something. What if the boy had a speech to do in front of the class tomorrow, or a job interview, or something. Damn I better not go for the face--

BAM.

"Oh HE is smelling the cheese~~!" Fuu commented excitedly, despite her companion staggering backwards and holding his forehead in a disorientated manner.

This kid is the sort who started fights around school. Mike was an idiot to believe that the same kid would show up for a oral presentation or was looking for a job... This kid was off the rails...

"...This kid is off the chaaainn~~~!" Fuu continued to egg Spike on, despite it being against school policy.

Mike dropped a sweat, wishing that his loud-mouthed friend wasn't such a busy body. Despite that, he bounced back, getting tired of the same old moves not working on Spike, Mike was going to turn this into a fist fight. He closed the small gap between them and aimed a crudely executed punch direct to Spike's gut.

Spike pressed his forehead as he slouched off of the lockers. Nobody wins in a head butt. He knew that before he started. How had he forgotten?

His body was starting to actually... Well, the damage was starting to take it's toll. But he hadn't had a good fight in a while and he wasn't going to drop-out midway. He intended to continue this fight until it was done. Or at least until it got pathetic. Spike clenched his fists, the right still hurting from the earlier uppercut.

He nearly laughed when he realized there was a commentary going on behind the fight. He wasn't sure if he was being cheered or jeered. It was Mike's friend after all, but still. It was a bit of a change-up.

As he prepared to attack he saw the fist coming in and swung his arm in to avert it. He didn't manage to block it, but he pushed the sudden fist up from his gut to his chest. It wasn't much better but his opponent was hitting bone and he wasn't gonna buckle down from a punch to his chest. Lifting his left he threw a punch at Mike's face. No scream this time, unfortunately.

Without the usual blood thirsty holler that came along side a punch from Spike, Mike was taken by surprise when his fist connected side on with his face, knocking his glasses askew and cutting his bottom lip. He felt his head throbbing from the headbutt just now, and all this additional hurt that was just starting to become apparent to his body, (after the initial thrill of the fight had subsided.)

"Things look good for Spike-kun -- ano, wait!!"

His head had taken a lot of hits today, but Mike didn't want to let this punch be the one to take him down. Taking a moment to wipe his mouth with the back of his hand, he shared a moment's glance with Spike before going at him again, not changing his target area. But this time, he going to hit him with two fists one after the other, instead of just one.

And hopefully to keep that going for as long as he could.

"Various sources," Jen replied in regards to Alexander's question. "Ninjitsu, medical journals, Chinese medicine books... Chinese martial artists call it Dim Mak - the art of striking pressure points. But a good part of it is really just simple medical science," the purple-haired girl said a matter of factly before taking hold of Alexander's forearm in one hand and the using her other hand to rub the area where she did her 'Vulcan nerve pinch', alternating a few times between circular and linear motions, then finally gently slapping the pinched area a few times. "There! That should leave your arm feeling better... if not, I suppose it means you need to consult a sinseh (先生 - a practicioner of traditional Chinese medicine) for help."

"Things look good for Spike-kun -- ano, wait!!" Jen turned her attention back to Fuu, only to catch the country lass giving her blow-by-blow fight commentary of the match between Spike and Mike just as Mike took a cross from Spike, the blow landing on the side of his face, hurting his lower lip and knocking his glasses askew.

"Looks like Mike really felt that one! But wait, he's still got fight left in him!" Jen added as Mike recovered from the impact, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand before going on with a one-two combo. And Mike comes back strong with an attempt at a one-two combo!"

Spike was in an awkward position. He tried to step back but he was right in front of the lockers so that didn't do much for him as the fist hit him dead in the gut he gritted his teeth and pulled his arms back. He'd just have to take the shot. But he didn't see the one-two coming until he heard the fight pick up it's second commentator. The second nailed into his gut, and he didn't have any backing up this time.

Spike buckled forward over the fist. Damn... I'm not... The fight really was starting to get to him. But he was gonna keep going. Spike wasn't ready to go down just yet though. He still had at least a few more punches in him. Spike pushed himself away from Mike, rising back to his feet. Like he was gonna stop at that.

Kicking off the lockers Spike pushed his body forward to try to slam Mike to the ground. "ORYA!"

He had hoped that by hearing the wonderful pitter patter of locker combinations rattling with each punch he delivered, the fight would be over soon. This had after all been one of the longest, most confusing, most POINTLESS brawls the guy had been involved in. But he credited all that to his resilient opponent.

Mike felt Spike's body slam and let out a small "-oof!" on impact. But he didn't keel over backwards like the kid was hoping and that was because, "....I am the bigger man."

He sneered, reaching out and attempting to seize both the delinquent's upperarms, pressing them into the boy's body. He didn't have those steamy grappling techniques that Fuu knew how to do, and god forbid he was ever going to grab another guy's lower back. And without his magic mouthgaurd, Mike honestly saw no way of bringing this little roach down for good.

"Fuu--" His voice seemed heavy, knowing his defeat was eminent, "Fuu... What.. What do I do..?" He asked desperately through gritted teeth.

"Whoa-- it looks like one of the fighters is asking us for advice!" Fuu said excitedly turning her wide eyes to Jen, clearly missing the point. "What a twist!"

Spike was surprised as he not only failed to knock over Mike but in fact got his arms grabbed. After a cursory attempt to break out of the grip he slumped a bit. Maybe he should just admit he'd lost. It didn't really seem like it was going anywhere fast, but... He didn't like to admit to a loss.

He considered kicking Mike in the nuts but... No. He wouldn't. No man would do that. It wasn't something one man should do to another. Ever.

Mike's apparent uncertainty about how to end a fight surprised Spike. He thought about it. Well it was over when one guy got knocked out or exhausted or ran away or gave up... Well he wasn't running away or giving up... "Knock me out?" When he was suggesting that maybe it was time to give up.

Naw, Spike still planned to win.

What do you think I've been trying to...

"Argh..." He groaned outwardly, something strange and completely out of character for him. Mike must have been extremely disappointed with the situation. And why wouldn't he? He felt like crap that had just been stepped on more than once and was certain there was bits of him that were stuck to the bottom of somebody's shoe.

But Spike looked like he had already given up, all limp in his grasp like that.

He let go of Spike, balling his fist up in the air, looking like he was about to bring it down on the kid's head like a mallet. WELL... That should have been the case, only Mike didn't appear to have it in him to follow through, just standing there with his hand up. But no body could tell what was going on behind his eyes because his glasses had suddenly gotten really shiny.

Mike had realized that Fuu and Jen were no where in sight, and there was no point in dragging this fight out any longer. He lowered his hand, pocketed them, and tried to walk away.

In this moment of hesitation, Spike could have done anything to Mike and he would have had to take it.

As Spike was set down he sighed. He had to admit that he didn't have anything. He looked up to see Mike's fist, and immediately crossed his arms to take the blow, but if didn't come down on him. Mike turned and walked away. "H- HEY!" Spike wasn't really sure how to react. Usually when the other guy walked away he felt like the winner but this time he felt like he'd been spared and he didn't like that at all.

"This isn't over yet!" Spike hollered down the hall, but he wasn't really in it either. He supposed he just wasn't sure how to admit he lost. Since arriving in Hyakuji it seemed like he'd lost a lot. "I'll beat you next time!" Fine. He could admit a loss, or at least he could admit to not winning. But he could at least declare that he'd win next time.

Spike stuck his hands in his pockets and walked the other way, even though it was actually the wrong way to get to his class. He clenched his fists. He would definitely win if they fought again. He decided it and had no intention of budging on that, even if he wasn't sure how he'd beat the guy.

"Two idiots" you commented as the fight between the two guys you have been watching for the past two or three minutes come to an end. "Total armatures, especially the one with pointy hair, what kind of an idiot would have such an hair style? Give me a break, only morons and lunatics would have such a hairstyle."
Yume-Chan! This is not a nice thing to say, especially when the guy with spiky hair is walking in your direction!

Spike decided to be the bigger man and scoffed off the comment that he was an amateur. But to insult his hair was going too far. His father had given him this haircut. He couldn't accept it being insulted.

He came to a dead stop. He wasn't ready for a fight now. He'd just gotten to the end of that one. He needed a couple-few hours to rest before he could go another round. "You. Me. After School. Under that Old Giant Tree. Got it?" He made his challenge and walked away before she could answer. If she didn't show up he'd have to hunt her down.
