lol, so negative and yet you still give it half points? in my book 2.5 = average as it's the halfway mark. If an average game manages to illicit this much GROAN then i am glad i don't buy games much. otherwise an informative and thorough review, just feel the score doesn't reflect the assessment. |

I won't lie my love for the series may have given it a slight boost. But despite the short-comings the refreshing battle styles where at times fun. |

Just wondering, but could you give a brief review on the Nintendo 3DS? Sure, it's not a game, but from what I understand, it's really expensive. I just want to know what is so special about it and how it improves the gaming experience. |

Unfortunately I probably won't do this for quite sometime. I just don't see it as something that I need to spend $250 on. But if I change my mind, I will review it when it comes out here in the US. |

Ok sorry about not putting up the dead space 2 review, but between playing the insanely fun online multiplayer, and school, and work, I haven't had time for much time to write reviews. But one of the biggest games of this year is released next week. Marvel Vs Capcom! And I will probably be attending the midnight release and will write the review after I play it for awhile, either that or the next morning, along with the dead space 2 review. Also I may due a pokemon black, and white re-review if I deem it needed, but don't hold your breath. Well that's about it guys so I hope to get active with law school finally slowing down for me, so that's all the info you will need for now. XOXO Crow! |

Ah its been awhile! Well I have to say being a big fan I enjoyed the hell out of making this review so I'm going to write it so I can get back tot the game. Marvel Vs Capcom 3: The Fate Of Two Worlds Overview: Well let me start off by saying that the story is pure crap, I mean Wesker, and Dr.Doom work together to bring the villains of both worlds together to fight off the hero's and by doing this they bring unwanted attention to Earth, and doom us all. Yea thanks a lot guys.... But forgetting the crappy story for a minute the game plays great! The controls are responsive, and your characters all feel different, but even the heaviest character feels light, and quick, which is saying something about a capcom game, seeing as Street Fighter 4 felt sluggish to say the least. Every character has a unique fighting style, but the quicker your character, the better you will be, I played a few online games last night, and already I'm seeing Spiderman, Deadpool, and Dante, as a team, which is overkill cause these guys are the quickest in the game. Well besides Viper. The campaign is what you would expect to see from any fighting game, although I won't spoil anything the final boss is frustrating to say the least. The game has been made easier for people who have never played the fast paced fighting game, to jump right in, and tussle with the big boys. And I have to say, even my little sister can be deadly with the simple control scheme. The online play, even after the midnight release, was bustling with play, with guys just jumping into the game, and I have to say I'm quite impressed with the level of talent that I have seen, the battles online are quick, and deadly so you better be quick or before you even blink it could be over, all in all if your hardcore like me, you will enjoy the online a lot. I didn't feel the need to say this, but for the sake of the review I must. The game looks AMAZING!! It was well worth the wait to see the game look this damn good, Capcom wasn't lieing when they said they spent months on the character models, the characters look sleek, and beautiful, with great detail where even when your character is moving at lightning fast speeds, you can still make out the body.. But then again Capcom is known for their great work in that regard. All in all this game should be picked up by hardcore fans who want to jump online and brawl with the world, and also the casual gamer who just wants to play with friends. Concept: Bring together the worlds of Capcom and Marvel for a third time, and give comic geeks everywhere orgasms? Nice....... Graphics: Beautiful....need I say more? Sound: The battle commentary is slightly annoying at times, but hearing the screams of your enemy never felt so sweet. Playability: Easy to pick up, hard to master, even for the most seasoned veteran. Entertainment: If you enjoy fast paced battles, with your favorite comic hero's then this game is a must. Final Score: 5/5 |

Ok quick announcment for all of you with ps3's and 360's. If you are a fan or not, please download the Dragon Age 2 demo. If your not a fan, just delete it when your done. The reason I ask is because if they get a certain number of downloads before the game is released they will give away the first 2 DLC's for free. So please help cheap ass Crow get free DLC.... Thank you... P.S I'm not that cheap..... |

Ok a few things I wanted to post here to let you guys know. I don't understand how I almost missed out on it, but my manager has given me a copy of Bullet Storm to play and review, so expect that this weekend, and what not. Also its looking like I'm gonna get a 3DS, so expect a review of that on the 27th....it better be worth the price. Also I'm getting dragged to NY for the release of pokemon Black, and White (Kinda got signed up against my will) so if I'm MIA for 2 days you know why. But that's all, other then me going back and reviewing old games that some of you may be still on the fence about buying now that they have a price drop I'm gonna help you make that hard choice. Well that's all see ya in the next review. |

Well let me post this quickly so I can get back to Black and White. Well here is a review of a DS game I wanted to get, but got side tracked with other things, but due to having too much inventory, my boss was forced to give it too me! I have wanted to do this review for awhile, and here it is! ![]() Golden Sun Dark Dawn Well its been about seven years since the last game was released, and I have to say WTF Nintendo?! Well gripes with Nintendo aside, I'm happy to see the series back and looking better then ever. The game starts 30 years after the events of the 2nd game, and things have not calmed down in the land of Weyard. Even after Issac and the others saved the world, things haven't gotten much better. Since the 2nd entry large vortex's have begun to pop up, causing destruction in their wake. Issac and Garet the two hero's from the first entry have taken it upon themselves to study the vortex's and try to find out the source, and set things right. But this is a big task, and so the two call on their children for help. You play the game through the eyes of ALL the children of the original 4 hero's. While I was kind of sad to see Ivan and Mia never got together (Fanboy hopes I know) it is quite refreshing to see that they are all alive, and well, and that their kids look mostly like them. (Ivan's daughter looks NOTHING like him, and Garet's son is a bigger ass then his dad.) And while it took me awhile to warm up to the kids, they all really do adopt traits from their parents, and it feels almost like its the original group, something I think they where going for from the start, but in doing that they didn't really give the kids their own identities. The main thing the game does well is bring back memories from past games, with places, people, and enemies from the past *Spoiler* but after awhile it stops feeling like a new game, and starts feeling like they where just trying to refresh the first two adventures in your mind, before they release another game. You will spend most of the game traveling dungeons, and solving puzzles, to get the next item, or get to the next town, and while the quest seem annoying at times, and tend to pile up quickly with 'Go and grab that then come back' style adventures, they find a way to keep things fresh with the puzzles, that are all original. The battle system is still simple, and easy to pick up, and hasn't changed much since the last games. Your best friends are still the Djinn, each creature has its own ability that its up to you to use to their full potential, and these little guys are your summons of the game, while I won't go into complete detail here, I will say that the summons look amazing, and are quite powerful, and can turn the tide of almost any battle. While the graphics aren't the best by any means, but they are still up to par with a lot of the better looking games on the DS. Concept: Bring back a series from the grave, but force you to play as their children, in an exciting walk down memory lane. Graphics: Not the best, seeing as Dragon Quest kind of sets the standard right now, but is still pretty good looking. Sound: Great tunes to hum too, but still feels kind of lacking. Playabilty: Feels smooth to play, and the battles are fast paced, but in no way to difficult. Entertainment: If you have played an rpg it will feel like 2nd nature to play this, if you have never played an rpg I recommend starting with this one. Final Score: 3/5 Edited by Crow Hiroshima, Mar 5 2011, 09:02 PM.

Alright sorry this review took so damn long, but I finally feel like I have played enough of the game to give a review of it, and have to say I'm impressed with what they have done.![]() Dragon Age 2 Rise from refugee to champion. That about sums up your task for this game. You play Hawke a man or woman (See they know girls play games) from the town of Lothering. Your town is destroyed in the darkspawn attack in the events from the first game. And to be honest despite what you did in the first game, it doesn't influence much about the second and they kinda mess with some cannon in one instance, but I won't get into that here, let's just say it slightly annoyed me. Despite the lack of a real story in the beginning, things pick up still slightly early into the game, and despite the one thing that you lack is a true enemy early on, they still give you plenty of people to hate, and love respectively. If its one thing that bioware does well, its learning from past mistakes, and they did that well with DA2. Unlike the past Dragon Age conversation system that was to be honest slightly boreing, the correct this issue in this game by taking the conversation system from their other smash hit Mass Effect. The conversations flow more smoothly this time, allowing you to keep interest, and stay engaged in the story, and is a welcome upgrade from last time. The combat is where this game truly leaves the original behind. The combat may seem like hack and slash early on, but after getting some new abilities things quickly get more strategic. I have to say the mage may be the best class this time around. Battles can be quick, and with a lot of enemies, things can get out of hand if you haven't done your partners tatics right, but overall they do a pretty ok job of staying alive early on, its in the later stages where you have think carefully about how you want them to fight. The graphics are a step up from the last game, and the character models are a joy to look at, and while you tend to track the same dungeons over and over, I found it a relief seeing as I never got lost, and I hope that's what bioware was shooting for. Concept: Come from nothing to make a name for yourself in this sequel to my fav game of 2009. Graphics: The best for the series, and maybe the best for bioware yet. Sound: Few games have a score like Dragon Age, and with that said the music is beautiful, and captures every moment perfectly. Playabilty: Fast battles, and smooth gameplay, what more could you ask for? Entertainment: Good RPG elements, with a great story at its core, with plenty of characters to love, and hate, makes for a great follow up to the orginal. Final Score: 4.5/5 |

Whew! Been awhile, and the sad part is I have played plenty of new releases. I plan on putting my reviews of Portal 2 (LOVED IT!!!) Brink (eh), and LA Noire (5/5, sorry had to ruin it.) So expect those reviews hopefully before the end of the week. Oh and Hiro there was a arcade game I wanted you to review if you have played it. Might And Magic: Clash of Heroes. |

Ironically, I was thinking about picking back up my share of this now that I have a working 360 again. Clash of Heroes is actually an HD upgrade of a DS game that I've played extensively so I could certainly review it~ |
