Here I will be reviewing movies, games, anime, tv shows, ya know crap your on the fence about watching. Also I will try to make it as spoiler free as possible, but no promises. Well before I start I guess I should ask those who care. Do you like the idea? |

Seems okay. How about you review this first and tell me if it's a good idea, when it would be a lot better to use the Angel Sentai instead. I mean seriously? Power Rangers Samurai? That's the best they could come up with for a title? Sure, I was down with ninjas, but Americans posing as samurai? Not a chance. Not to mention it is pretty obvious they don't have the same cities that the monsters blew apart, and they'll require more extras than ever before. http://www.powerrangers.com/seasons-samurai.html# |

Well its time for my first review, like I said I will try to make it as spoiler free as possible, but then again no promises. But due to the fact that I can't read japanese you can expect this to be very spoiler free. Well today I will be reviewing Pokemon Black for the DS. This game came to me a few days ago from play-asia.com (Great service, but get stuff shipped through fed ex...mainly cause I work there and we would love your business.) And to be honest I have a hard time putting it down at times. I mean the game is beautiful, and the pokemon are quite 'interesting' this generation, while some are cool, others seem like game freak are running out a idea's, but in no way does that mean things are stale, game freak did a great job at reinventing the way we look at pokemon, and the way we experience the game. Overview: You jump into the shoes of a young trainer from Kanoko Town in the Isshu region, a region so far from the others, that the only way to reach it is by boat or plane. Prof. Araragi comes to your house to give you a present. In the box are the 3 starters of the Isshu region. After choosing your little starter ( I choose Pokabu by the way )you, and your friends start your journey through the Isshu region, battling other trainers, collecting gym badges from gym leaders, and putting an end to the evil team Plasma. Now all of this is done in the well done, tried, and true pokemon way. As you start out you will capture other little pokemon to add to your team, and you will use them to battle the many trainers that await. In certain towns (I haven't been in one other then the first town yet that hasent had one to be honest) there are gym leaders for you to battle, and if your lucky to beat them (and I mean LUCKY these guys are tough this year, weather you have the type advantage or not) they give you a nifty badge that symbols your greatness. But while traveling the Isshu region you will have lots of encounters with the evil Team Plasma. These guys believe pokemon should stand alongside man as equals, good intentions, but they have the wrong way of getting their message across, and when they get outa control its up to you to stop them. The game also takes cue's from its past brother's and implements many wifi features. The c-gear is the poketch of this generation (and if ya ask me A LOT more useful) and has many features that allow you to see who around you is playing the game, while in the c-gear if someone around you is playing the game you will get up to the minute updates on their battles, where they are in the game, and how many badges they have. It allows you to swap friend codes on the fly, which when your in a hurry is a great feature. It also allows for instant battles, without having to backtrack to a pokemon center, and a host of other features. At the moment of writing I don't know much about the dream world, due to the fact that the servers for it are down because of the high volume they got when the game was released, it won't be back up till mid october, so trust me when its back up I will edit the review to address that. Overall this game makes great strides to keep pokemon on top of gaming, and it does not disappoint, its a great game, with plenty to do, and see, and I frankly can't wait till it comes out in the US so I can enjoy it in my native language. Concept: The tried, and true pokemon formula comes through to deliver a great game again. Graphics: Beautiful to look at, I must say this is game freaks best work. They really pushed the DS to its limit. Sounds: The cries are still adorable, and the music score is their best yet. Playability: The battles are smoother, and a lot faster this time around. Entertainment: Its pokemon, you either love it or don't. Final score: 5/5 |

Umm...could you explain to me something? What was the deal with the going into the 'shimmering vertical line' and coming out as a different person on the other side from the game intro? |

Lol I think you saw the intro wrong. It was just a ceremony of N being crowned. |

I mean after the crowning. There were cutscenes of the trainer walking around afterward, I just want to know what that shimmering vertical line in the center of the screen was about. |

I'm gona try to review black ops this week, but I'm still working on my reviews of BBS, and Halo reach. For you halo fans....can't believe I wasted 45 bucks on that game I don't even like halo! But between that and work I'm gona try to get everything in. Since my boss won't let me log on from my phone at work anymore. |

haha, halo games are just shallow shooters. There's not much to love. the reason it's popular is because it's easy. |

Thank you cyp! Finally someone who isn't riding Halo like a rodeo show! I swear the midnight release of that damn game was frustrating. Now I play halo when I'm at my friends house and he makes me play it, but overall I'm a GOW fan. |

Well time for my 2nd review, although it should have been my first, but eh whatevs. Sorry for the short review I got a lot of stuff on my plate with school, and finals, and I wanted to get this done finally since I started on it like 2-3 weeks ago. I will try to have my other reviews up asap. ![]() Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Well I'm sure that quite a few people have played the Kingdom Hearts series, but in case you haven't ill give you a run down of the story. Overview: On a stormy night on his home island a boy named Sora is given a weapon called the 'Keyblade', and is thrust into an adventure spanning many worlds. Together with his friends Donald, and Goofy they travel to many disney worlds, helping the denizen's of the worlds. But this game do sent star Sora or his friends, Birth by sleep (Will be referred to as BBS from here on out.) follows the journey of three new hero's. Terra, Aqua, and Ventus as 3 friends, who all want to be keyblade masters. In the game you will follow the same KH formula. You will travel the many disney worlds helping the characters there ( In the case of Terra, making things worse.) And defeating bosses. The battle system is where this game truly shines. By equiping ability's you can make your character much stronger, but none of them come close to the power Sora is capable of, but that in no way means you won't feel like a badass. By combining the many ability's you will gain, you can create even more powerful abilities to supe up your chosen keyblade welder. The lock on system, as well as the camera could have been better, but to be honest, on the psp that's too much to wish for. The story is pretty decent (not that it has much to play off of, I mean 358 was ok) with plenty of twist and turns, I won't spoil anything, but the origins of Xemnas blew my mind. Not to mention, it sets things up pretty nicely for KH3. All in all this game is worth the buy. (I'm sure Hiro will fight that with all his might lol) Concept: Travel the many (NEW) disney worlds righting wrongs, and uncover the truth behind Sora, and Riku's journey. Graphics: Beautiful need I say more? They pushed the psp to its limit. Sounds: Utada still sounds beautiful, and along with the great music the game has the feel of every cutscene down to a T. Playability: The battles are fun, although battles in cramped spaces, or with flying enemies get's pretty rough due to the camera. Entertainment: Great game that everyone who is a KH fan should play. Final score: 4.5/5 Edited by Crow Hiroshima, Oct 22 2010, 12:58 AM.

Just a quick update. My rewiew of Black ops will be scraped. The game was horrible, the controls where sluggish, and the target indicatior never shot where I was aiming, so head shots are hard as fuck to pull off. But Fallout New Vegas is EVERYTHING I wanted it to be! I will have my review of that by wed of next week hopefully. |
