Alex was making his way to the escalator to get to the second floor when he noticed Jonny taking a detour. "Hey, where are you going? The escalator's this-," He stopped mid-way through his sentence, gaping as he saw Jonny suddenly jump onto one of the pillar and scaled his way up to the second floor in less time than it would take for Alex to say escalator. "Now, really..." Alex muttered with a small sigh, shaking his head, opting to take the less tiring route and climbed the escalator. You could hurt someone like that, thought Alex. He said that, but the small prideful portion of his heart feels as though Jonny was challenging him to a duel between traceur. Having to escape countless pursuits from the mafias, he believed himself to be a very accomplished traceur. No. Control yourself. The showdown is pointless in itself. "Where did you learn to do that?" Alex asked, the moment he reached Jonny on the second floor. |

"Well, let's start over there shall we?" Yuki followed Selene's gaze as she noticed a home furnishings store up on the second floor. A bit of sprucing up was what her room really could use! Everything looked rather cold and bleak at the moment, but a few wall hangings, new bed sheets, and a throw rug or two may be just the trick it needed. Yuki allowed Selene to take the lead even after their destination was determined and she was pretty sure she knew how to ride an escalator. She was inwardly still excited about her new rice cooker; luckily the Japanese diet consisted of enough rice where she would get plenty of use out of it! That, and it was perfect for lazy days when she wouldn't want to cook any substantial meals or spend money by going out. As she climbed onto the moving steps of the escalator behind Alex, she took in her surroundings. There were so many stores here! She would definitely have to....come back on her own time to check them out when she wasn't with an entire entourage that would bore of her antics. There was a stationary shop, a store devoted to candles, Jonny jumping up the walls... Hold on. Yuki gasped and found herself clutching to the railing for fear of, strangely, her own life as she watched the boy scale the walls and other architecture to make his way up to the second floor. She was just waiting for a foot or hand to slip and him to fall to his doom...but luckily, he landed safely on the second floor. The girl, suddenly feeling quite weak from watching the slightly terrifying spectacle, allowed the escalator to carry her up the rest of the way before stumbling off of it and shakily walking over to Jonny and Alex as they made their way toward the store. "Where did you learn to do that?" Alex asked inquisitively. Yuki, on the other hand, had something else on her mind. Not wanting to potentially suffer another heart attack, she asked her own question...which was more of a request if anything. "It looks like you've been doing...whatever that was...for a while! But maybe from now on we can take the escalator up and down floors?" She gave a slightly nervous laugh, really not wanting to see one of her new friends splat onto the shiny tilework below despite however many years of experience he had. However, if he decided otherwise, that was completely up to him. Maybe she would just have to get used to his methods of reaching other floors of buildings, however unorthodox. Jonny did, however, seem very unphased by what he'd just accomplished as was apparent by the nonchalant way he went about looking through their next store. Yuki let out at sigh at her probable lost cause, then looked over her shoulder at Selene and Sokkenai, flicking her head toward the store with a smile signaling for them to follow the rest of them inside. |

"All right, head count!" Selene announced merrily as she led the way, removing the beret from her head and folding it a bit before putting the headdress back on, giving it a more compact, militaristic look as she made an (terrible) impression of a drill sergeant, 'counting' the heads in the shopping group - Alex, Jonny, Herself, Sokkenai and Yuki. As the rest of them proceeded to the furniture store on the second floor via escalator. However, Jonny decided that a ride up an escalator wasn't quite his style. "Jonny!" Selene exclaimed as Jonny suddenly busted out parkour moves, climbing his way up to the second floor. The corporate heiress glanced over to where Yuki was, and the pink-haired girl watched on in fear as she clutched onto the handrails, as if fearing the boy might fall to his doom. Jonny however appeared to know full well what he doing, and it was certain to Selene that he's had a lot of practice with it as the boy moved with agility and confidence, easily scaling his way up to the second floor with the ease of a ninja. Alex climbed up the escalator, arriving after Jonny did, and with Selene, Yuki and Sokkenai catching up at last. "Where did you learn to do that?" Alex queried. It wasn't ninjitsu, that much Selene could tell - it was what the French call "parkour", or free-running. Now that was certainly a curious part of Jonny's background - where and when did he take up interest in parkour? That was something Selene felt like knowing, as getting to know her friends' hobbies and interests helped her connect with them that much better, or so she felt. Yuki on the other hand, was genuinely fearful for Jonny's safety. "It looks like you've been doing...whatever that was...for a while! But maybe from now on we can take the escalator up and down floors?" The pink-haired girl pleaded, followed by a slightly nervous laugh. "Well, whatever the case, it appears you've drawn quite a bit of attention to yourself," Selene remarked as she leaned gently against a railing, looking about at the crowd of onlookers that had gathered about in the atrium when Jonny began his parkour stunt, and a few had even recorded the scene on their phones. Which left little doubt that there would be videos of Jonny's performance being shown somewhere on Youtube and other video sites. "I guess it remains to be seen whether that's a good thing or bad thing," the English heiress adjusted her headdress, returning it to its original poofy look. "Anyway, the show must go on," Selene nodded and smiled as she followed right after Yuki, who'd in turn followed Alex and Jonny into the store. "I think curtains, a carpet and bed sheets would be a good start for a newly-occupied dorm, what do you think?" The corporate heiress addressed Yuki and Jonny, who'd just moved into their respective dorms - which should by all respects have only the bare bone essentials in furnishing. If they're going to make their dorms appear more homely, then in addition to what she'd just said, perhaps some potted plants, wall hangings and accessories like vases and sculptures would also be a welcome addition. |

Sokkenai watched in amazement as Jonny started jumping up instead of taking the escalator, he was pretty skilled at it from just watching how well he did it moving extremely agile and precise. Even if Sokkenai thought he was showing off just a little bit he didn't bother saying it, after all since he was his new friend he didn't want to start any unneccesary fights. Smiling at Yuki's obvious worry over Jonny's safety Sokkenai thought that it wouldn't matter after all if he was skilled enough in parkour then he would know what he can or can't take on so he'd hopefully not attempt to do something that he couldn't take on. He walked into the store after everyone else and looked around the store there were a lot of things here that he could use to make his dorm look better but there was only so much space in his dorm so he couldn't buy lots or he would have trouble putting it in the room, so he began to think of what he should get. "I think I might get two Carpets, some plants, bed sheets and a lamp or two." Sokkenai thought to himself. Then he walked off to have a look at some of the plants there, with so many different types of plants it was hard to choose but he decided on a plant he thought it looked pretty good, he would probably have to buy everything else first lest he accidentally break the plant while carrying it around the shop. |

"My parents and I lived in an apartment for years before getting a house in the countryside. I guess I just sorta... turned the building into a personal backyard. And just got better at it as time went on I suppose, especially when doing deliveries to taller buildings." Geez, he'd not been expecting this kind of attention for a little climb. He hoped it didn't become some major point of discussion. "I think curtains, a carpet and bed sheets would be a good start for a newly-occupied dorm, what do you think?" He'd have to nod to that one, as it seemed quite right given the circumstances. He looked around some of the patterns for bed sheets, eventually a crystal themed one, finding the pattern of different shapes quite appealing. And better yet, there was a matching one for the curtains. He held up the piece of fabric, showing the others, to see their reactions to it. "This seems fairly good. What do you guys think?" |

Too late. It has already become a major point of discussion. That aside, he wouldn't disagree on Selene's comment on the necessity of a new curtain, carpet and bed sheet for a new dormitory. In his mind, all those stuff are unnecessary for a control center. But in this case, the control center also acts as his room. A curtain, a carpet and a bed sheet is necessary for a room. There's no need to buy an expensive one, thought Alex. His view on curtains and bed sheets are similar to his views on clothes. Just look at him. Plain blue. Simple. (But he doesn't know the sweater he's wearing is made from the highest quality Cashmere wool). He's not sharing his view with the others though. After only a few minutes of browsing, he settled for a plain brown curtain, a wool carpet and a diamond-patterned bed sheet. Total cost? 144,000 yen. Alex didn't care how much it was worth and upon calculating the total price, took out his Warehouse Gateway and entered the code 'C4ZI-442'. Almost immediately, a small portal opened up next to him and a small metal suitcase dropped out of it. He took it out and opened it, making sure there's enough money in it. 130k, 140k, 150k, perfect. He made sure to memorize the carpet's ID number so that he can have it delivered to his dorm room. The carpet was quite big. |

Being set loose inside the home furnishings store, Yuki glanced around to decide where she would start. What would be the one thing to pull the whole room together and draw focus...bed sheets! It seemed to be the place Jonny and Alex found themselves in as well, so she figured she wasn't completely off course by this decision. "This seems fairly good. What do you guys think?" Jonny inquired as he held up a sheet set. Although not something she would have picked for herself, she felt the colors would look good in his room, being a guy and all. "I think that will be perfect!" Yuki chimed in her opinion with a firm nod before moving on to select her own bedding. The bedding section was larger than she anticipated, with colors in every shade imaginable. She moved on to thinking about what colors she would want. Unsurprisingly, the first color she thought of was pink. "I do like pink!" she thought to herself with a grin as if the color itself was her favorite pasttime. Then she imagined herself with her pink hair sitting in her pink room with her pink rice cooker, and wondered if that wouldn't be a little bit overboard. Balance was the name of the game, so perhaps she would choose something in another set of colors. It didn't take long before her eyes fell upon a comforter-sheet set in pastels of blue, green, and accented with white giving it a sort of watercolor painting appearance. She was immediately calmed by the colors, and felt this was a good thing to have since, well, beds are for sleeping. She found the proper size for her bed and picked up the set, containing everything she needed for a completely made bed. Knowing she would need one, she grabbed a cart and tossed the package in. Next were rugs and curtains. Resolving to go with a "pastels in general" look than limiting herself to two colors, she picked out a fuzzy lavender rug to go next to her bed, and a set of thick green curtains that closely matched the color of her bedding. She grew more excited with each thing she tossed into the cart. She maneuvered the cart over to the lamp section, looking for something little to put on her desk or nightstand. Her eye was immediately drawn to a small lamp in the shape of a cat and decided her room would not be complete without it. Plucking it off the shelf, she tossed it into the cart. Nearly finished, she proceeded to find stuff to put on the walls. "What could I put up on the wall..." she thought out loud, scanning the store. Clocks caught her eye, and one in particular stood out for its unique design, and it overall meshed with her color scheme. Got the clock...now what? She was a little too immature to fully appreciate framed art, but she was in luck with another form of wall decoration. Always having been a sucker for cherry blossom trees, she was drawn into a vinyl wall decal that could easily be stuck to her wall to appear like it was painted on, but then could also be removed when necessary. It was about two feet high and five feet wide, and was the finishing touch she needed. Without hesitation, she tossed the item into her cart and made her way to the register. Quite a successful and drama-less trip, in her opinion! |

Selene tapped her right hand thoughtfully on her chin as Jonny went to the bedroom section - beds, mattresses, bedsheets... everything one needs for their bedrooms - and began checking through their selection of bedsheets. "This seems fairly good. What do you guys think?" The boy asked as he held up a sheet set. "I think that will be perfect!" Came Yuki's comment. "So, are you going to get the whole set then?" The corporate heiress nodded as she gave her remark, gesturing towards a pillow case and curtain set whose patterns matched the one on Jonny's bedsheet. As Yuki was browsing through what to get for her own bedroom, Selene wondered if she should get a new bedsheet set herself as well - thus far she's been keep a meadow theme - green with floral print. Which was fine for spring and summer. But the English heiress felt her bedroom could use some retouching to fit the seasonal theme for autumn. "So, Yuki-chan is really in love with pink, aye?" Selene asked as she thought she caught sight of Yuki glancing over a bedding set that was in a nice shade of carnation pink, almost matching the other girl's hair color. Meanwhile, Selene picked up a bedding set that fits into the fall theme she had in mind - a maroon colored background with a maple leaf print in rustic shades of yellow and brown; which does somewhat match her hair color to boot. "This one looks like a nice haul my bedroom... it certainly fits the Autumn theme well, doesn't it?" Selene asked the others with a broad smile on her face before dropping it into her shopping cart. Satisfied with what she'd gotten for herself, the corporate heiress pushed her shopping cart to the nearest cashier counter to pay for her goods. "I think I'm done over here, I'll wait for you all at the store's entrance," Selene called out to the others as she lifted the shopping bag holding her purchases above her head and waved it slightly, before gesturing towards the entrance, positioning herself next to a security scanner and a warning sign that reads 'No unpaid merchandise beyond this point!'. Setting down her shopping bag before her feet, the corporate heiress retrieved her PDA phone from her handbag, checking through a list of newly-received email messages, mostly coming from various Frostfire Industries staff regarding a wide range of subjects ranging from latest audit findings to updates in the contact lists. |

Sokkenai already chosen some decorations for his dorm involving a nice flower and a small clock now he had to go choose some bed sheets he settled on some nice light blue ones that where suprisingly smooth, they looked pretty nice to him so he decided he would purchase it and use it. As he looked around the store he saw the others all purchasing their things they chose lots of different colours to each other but everyone liked their own thing he picked up some curtains and a rather small carpet before throwing it in a shopping cart and carefully putting the plant down he then walked over to the cashier and payed for his goods and stood over near the entrance opposite of Selene. "Well, I'm pretty much set." Sokkenai thought to himself, strangely though he heard a crack and looked around but didn't see anything being broken dismissing it as nothing he waited and watched as his friends finished their shopping, anyone with the abillity to sense magic would sense a strong but also corrupt magic leaking from Sokkenai like the rest of it was being held back but a little bit was getting through whatever was holding the rest back.

Well, only one person actually commented on it, but hey, it was better than nothing. "So, are you going to get the whole set then?" Selene had obviously noticed it as well then, and Jonny nodded in response. "Yeah - it would rather silly of me if I didn't." He chuckled lightly, just doublechecking there wasn't anything else he wanted, before going to pay for all three. Just his luck though, that he ended up getting caught in the longer line. Well at the very least, he'd certainly be expectant of the mail the next few days... With that done, he made his way for the entrance, intending to join Selene at the entrance, as Sokkenai had already done. As he walked however, something strange happened. Without warning, he felt something, or perhaps even someone, shove him straight in the back, causing him to fall where he stood. Hitting the floor, he groaned in pain slightly, remembering that whenever he wasn't using his powers, impacts were still as hard as ever. Strange though, that looking back where the person should've been, that there was noone. "Wha-?" He muttered, before shaking it off as he got up. Maybe someone just got the jump on him... "You guys didn't just see the one who pushed me did you?" He asked, though he actually doubted they'd have been paying attention at the time. |

"There. Keep the change," He placed the small metal suitcase containing 150,000 yen on the counter and left it as fast as he came. Being the first one to finish his shopping, he had been waiting for the others at the entrance all this time. As they came out one by one, with Jonny being the last, ... Ah. Here's something interesting to take note of. When Jonny reached the entrance, he fell. Yup. He fell. As though someone just shoved him to the floor. Groaning painfully, he got up and asked, "You guys didn't just see the one who pushed me did you?" It was quite unfortunate that Alex had his eyes on the big video store just across. With his level of perception, he'd have focused on the culprit rather than the amusing moment when Jonny fell on his stomach. Not that he would thought of it as amusing, though. He just wouldn't care. His answer to Jonny's question foreshadowed his hypothetical action. "Huh? Uh... no I don't," is what he said, continuing to stare at the video shop. He then turned to Selene and said, "Can we stop by the video store next? There's a few video I wanted to re-" CRASH!!!! "HUARGH!" Alex yelled as he flew, quite literally, a few feet across the floor, landing hard on his back. Things couldn't have fared worse when his head made contact with the floor. A hard heavy painful contact, causing him to see stars and planets and spaceships with aliens. His whole life flashed before his eyes, catching glimpses of the person he hated, his master, Aria and Nick, his parents, a complex schematic of something with unintelligible words, ... He recovered fairly quickly from that, though. Shaking his head a few times was enough. What the hell happened?! Thought Alex. He sat up, twisting his head around and his eyes caught sight of a boy not much older than himself, wearing black and blue t-shirt with short khaki cargo pants, running with all his might. It wasn't hard to piece the two things together. "OI!!! GET BACK HERE YOU BLASTED LITTLE RUNT!!!" Alex yelled at the top of his lung to the scampering boy, quickly gaining even more attention to himself to add to the fame he already got for being crashed headlong by the kid. "GET BACK HERE SO THAT I CAN SMASH YOUR #$%^ AND YOUR !@% AND !@7S#@(*!@*(!WB(Y^!#98&#(*@0_p[;O!L@{$@_)!!!!!!!!!!!!!" ... ...... ......... Aria would kill him if she heard that.

Yuki finished up with her purchase at the register, counting out her money and handing it to the cashier. Once she completed filling out the shipping form, she headed toward the door to join the rest of the group. It looked like there was some sort of commotion going on outside. She had just caught a glimpse of Jonny pushing himself up from the floor and wondered if he had possibly tripped on something. She would have called him out, but figured some people don't like to have attention brought to the fact that they faceplanted in the middle of a mall. He looked to be alright, so she left it at that. Yuki continued to approach the group, until the atmosphere changed. She abruptly stopped as a feeling similar to a bunch of tiny pins prickling her skin washed over her. Her heart constricted and grew heavy from a sudden cold feeling...Yuki knew this state all too well. Something evil was lurking nearby, and its power was strong, but she was unable to tell what it was exactly. Her brow furrowed, and she found that the closer she drew to Jonny, Sokkenai and Selene, the stronger the feeling became. Was it coming from one of them, and they had been able to conceal it up until this point? While she didn't want to be suspicious of her friends potentially being some sort of evil monster, she was forced to increase her caution. It was only moments after she sensed the power that another event occurred. Yuki watched a boy run by and knock into Alex, causing him to fly a decent distance and land promptly on his back, something that did not look to be pleasant to endure in the least. Yuki gave a reactive gasp as she watched the event transpire, cringing slightly as he hit the floor with a thud. Then a number of obscenities flew, words she didn't even know existed, causing her to freeze awkwardly at the scene he was making. "Ah, Alex..!" She began to grow flustered as they received a number of nasty looks from the other mall-goers, particularly the families with small children tagging along. Yuki took it upon herself to issue a series of apologetic bows to the other guests in all directions, somehow keeping a case of dizziness at bay. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please forgive him! He's just very upset!" She hoped that the apologies would be enough to at least keep the other people from calling security and having them kicked out for being "unruly teenagers." If nothing else, it helped to result in rolled eyes and head shakes rather than death glares. Edited by Sujin, Oct 2 2010, 06:38 AM.

It didn't take long for the others to be done with their purchases. However, as Sokkenai approached the corporate heiress could feel her senses tingle as she picked up magical signatures emanating from him. It was a chilling and uncomfortable, a tell-tale sign of dark sorcery, commonly detected from individuals or places that have been tainted by use of dark sorcery - such as a necromancer, or a demon's hideout. "Looks like here's where we can start planning where to go next," the corporate heiress commented as Sokkenai and Yuki joined up with her, and no doubt Jonny and Alex would join them next. But as Jonny was heading towards their position he suddenly stumbled and fell forward, as if pushed from behind. "Jonny! Are you all right?" Selene asked as she ran over to where Jonny fell, the boy already getting back onto his feet. "You guys didn't just see the one who pushed me did you?" Jonny asked, as Selene looked around, followed by shaking her head to let Jonny know that she didn't manage to see who had so rudely shoved Jonny. Alex, having completed his purchases then approached Selene while eying the neighboring video store. "Huh? Uh... no I don't, Can we stop by the video store next? There's a few video I wanted to re-" Alex's reply was abruptly cut short as a fierce impact suddenly threw the boy aside, knocking him back a few good feet and sending him crashing to the floor in what appeared to be a painful bump, eliciting a cringe from Selene, who realized if it was her who got knocked down like that it would've also hurt a great deal. Nothing could prepare the corporate heiress for Alex's next reaction once the boy recovered from his daze, yelling at the top of his lungs and firing off a barrage of curses that would put a sailor to shame, something clearly not meant for human ears, as the boy quickly drew a crowd of onlookers about himself and his group. "I say, Alex! Mind the children's ears!" Selene exclaimed, shaking her head at the boy's Cluster F Bombs, while Yuki apologized to the crowd on Alex's behalf. Edited by Lawman, Oct 3 2010, 10:05 AM.

Sokkenai stood and waited for the rest of them to come over but as Jonny was walking over he fell over as if someone shoved him down Sokkenai looked at him, it didn't look like anything was broken but Sokkenai wasn't exactly an expert at determining that sort of thing. "You guys didn't just see the one who pushed me did you?" Jonny asked, Sokkenai looked around trying to see if he could see whomever did it but shook his head signaling that he didn't see who shoved Jonny down. Shortly after that Alex started to walk over with everyone buying what they wanted from the shop Sokkenai wondered where they were probably going to go to next but his train of though was cut short by Alex falling onto the ground and yelling lots of obscene and quite rude words which Sokkenai could only stand and look shocked as he sat there and pretty much swore his head off. "Y-you might want to calm down." Sokkenai said to him trying to assist the efforts of Yuki and Selene in trying to get him to stop swearing. |

And just as was expected, nobody had seen the person who had shoved him. He still found it a bit odd that noone had caught so much as a glimpse, but like already mentioned, their attention was probably elsewhere at the time. He brushed off any dust, deciding it was best to just move on. However, he took another look, just to be on the safe side. He couldn't quite understand it, but he had this strange sense of foreboding... "HUARGH!" He couldn't focus on that long however, as he turned to witness Alex being thrown a few feet into the air, before experiencing a hard landing. Jonny saw the boy that had apparently ran straight into Alex, running off as fast as they could. Alex's reaction to this turn of events was far more explicit than his own, with words that he wasn't even sure you could use on television. Everyone in their little group reacted with shock to such words, Yuki quickly attempting to apologise to the crowd on Alex's behalf, whilst Sokkenai and Selene berated him for the language. "Look, I'll go get him, and everyone can have a nice, formal apology, okay?" He said as he followed the boy through the shop... Only to find himself suddenly outside the shop and over the edge of the railing after the first corner. "Whoawhoawhoawhoa!!!" He was barely able to grab the pillar he'd originally climbed up, allowing himself to slide down to the ground. He looked back up at where he'd just been, wondering how they hell that had happened. "I swear I wasn't going quite that fast..." "You weren't." There wasn't even the pop of a sonic boom, as the hand smacked into the side of his face, momentum carrying him across the mall like a rocket. It took superhuman reactions and speed in order not to crash into something, Jonny running the instant he could get a free foot onto the ground. Now far from the shop he had started in, he looked back at the path he had just taken through the air, skidding to a halt on the far side of the mall. "What the hell...?" "What indeed?" He barely got an arm up in time to block, even moving at several hundred miles an hour. But even then, he could feel his bones cracking from the stress.
