Star had been in Hyakuji for a few days now. She had reunited with her father and Helios, who had somehow ended up here as well, had started dating Meglumar (who really hadn't seen that coming), and had run into her old mentor. At the same time, Star had started to fall back on some of her old habits, particularly her old business of running the grapevine. After all, her family had a long history with the grapevine, so it was only fair that wherever she was, Star should know the latest and juiciest rumors. And the most bizarre ones. Take for instance, the rumor that every night, some deranged lunatic came out and swept garbage all over the streets. Crazy college kids? Likely, but the funny thing about the rumor was that nobody seemed to be able to catch who was responsible, even if they waited on the streets overnight. If they looked away from the streets for just one moment, when they came back the streets would be overflowing with random junk. That was weird. And so, upon hearing that rumor, Star decided to get to the bottom of it. She picked up the phone and called up her latest and most interesting friend, Jennifer Chase. She had been sure that Jen couldn't resist getting to the bottom of this either. That was how Star ended up standing on a downtown street corner at around 10:30 PM that night, humming softly to herself as she waited for Jen to show up. She had a messenger bag slung over her shoulder, and Star's fingertips drummed lightly over the strap. Inside the bag was a camera, her cellphone, a notebook and a pen, and pretty much anything else that Star might need later on for litterbug catching. She also had gotten plenty of sun during the day, and was fully prepared, light-wise. The only thing that she needed was a partner. |

Jennifer couldn't be any happier upon receiving a call from none other than Star. For the past few days things were pretty stressful for the purple-haired girl ever since Xemnas was defeated and the worlds were restored to their original state. For one, Jen wished herself and her family over into the world of Hyakuji, and needless to say a lot has happened over the past few days, with her father trying to find a new job and getting a hang of a different pace of life in Hyakuji. It pleased Jen to learn that her old man managed to find work in the same named company he'd worked in - Frostfire Industries. As Jen was gradually beginning to settle in, she was wondering when she would be able to meet some of her new-found friends for some catching up. Going shopping downtown at the Majikku Mall would be nice! But so would a dinner and gathering session at Cafe Mahou! Or maybe some gaming at Abenobashi Arcade? The possibilities were endless. However, even Jen didn't expect Star to call her up to do some detective work. Sure, she had only moved into Hyakuji a few days ago, but being an avid member of online communities such as internet forums, social networking sites and blogging circles the purple-haired girl had come to learn a fair bit about Hyakuji. Like Domino Town, Hyakuji has its fair share of weird going-ons, and Jen had spent some time on the net reading up on the city's urban legends. So what was it with garbage appearing in the streets during odd hours of the night? And the junk had a penchant for appearing so suddenly - individuals who'd tried to keep watch all night have been said to suddenly see a large pile of junk when there had been previously nothing after something as brief as a toilet break, or even turning their heads away. Imagine Jen's pleasant surprise when Star contacted her to investigate this case together. Being someone who lives in search of answers to the universe's questions, getting to the bottom of a mystery certainly got Jen all excited. About 10 minutes after Star arrived at the appointed location, Jen arrived, dressed in a M81 woodland camouflage jacket and khaki cargo pants, her long purple hair tied up in a high ponytail. "Sorry Star, I'm late," Jen said as approached, waving at Star before pointing to the large military-style field pack strapped on her shoulders. "I have a lot of things to get ready." Jen ran through her mental inventory once more. Laptop? Check. Camera? Check. Modifications to include passive nightvision on optical systems? Check. Now all she and Star needed was a plan to catch whoever was responsible for this littering act red-handed. |

As the girls got in position of the street known for the strange trash collection they would find the very exciting NOTHING happening. They would be waiting for quite some time for ANYTHING to show up. ~~~~ Hours later~~~~ A small ghost wandered down the street slowly.. It eventually parked in the center of the street. It picked up a can putting it on his head. "I AM KING OF OF THE PARADE." He announced loudly to an audience of no one.... However very soon from all over spectral pure white creatures floated up from the ground en masses.Hundreds of them. Soon it was thousands. Lining the streets of the empty road ghosts filled every corner of the now abandoned city. Everyone was waving and cheering and it was the most festive of gatherings. The king of the parade sat down on a trashcan which was raised into the air by an enormously large head with slowly raised from beneath the streets. "So long as I have the crown I am king!" He announced from atop the trash can throne atop the head. The spirits cheered veraciously. Meanwhile the head seemed to puff out its cheeks. It's entire head (which was it's entire body) trembled and strained before he projectile vomited a parade of animals from his mouth. It seemed that now the parade was started in ernest. Meanwhile and old man stood beside the girls. Ragged clothes and torn jeans. But his face was beaming. "Ah! The parades come again!" He said cheerfully. It seemed that several hobos had gathered and mingled into the crowd of spirits. All cheering and whooping and dancing. Edited by Cypriss, Apr 10 2010, 02:31 AM.

By the time Jen arrived, Star was already setting the video camera up on a tripod that faced the street. She tilted it slightly so that the lens faced the street more fully. The reason for doing this was simple. The littering happened whenever the watchers turned around for a moment, but even if they missed it, Star was sure the camera would catch it. She grinned at Jen, turning to face the other girl. "Hey, Jen," she said. "I've got a fully charged camera, some extra batteries, and tons of memory, so I think I'm ready," she said. She paused for a moment, rocking back and forth on her heels. "Oh, I also had like, three big mugs of coffee." She giggled at the other girl, then began to settle down on the street corner to wait.
Star had been sitting on the sidewalk with her head in her hands, trying hard not to fall asleep when something finally began to happen. She sat up as a ghostly figure appeared in the center of the street, wearing a can on its head and saying something about the parade. "Jen!" she said, shaking her co-investigator sharply before running up to fix the camera. Doing her best to keep an eye on the ghost, she made sure that the camera was recording and that the fourth battery she had put in tonight was full. "This is the weirdest ghost story I've ever seen," she said to Jen. There were hundreds of them now, Star couldn't even count them. The parade king was sitting on a trashcan, and there were...animals coming out of a ghostly head? The sight was disturbing, and although Star had seen a lot of insane things in her life, on a scale of one to 10 this was probably an 11 million. Which meant that besides being creepy, it was also oddly cool. Star turned to the side as a hobo approached them, slipping her hand in her pocket and turning on the recorder as she turned towards the man. It was time to get some answers. Here's hoping her Japanese wasn't as bad as she thought it was. "Does this happen every night?" she asked. "What are they doing?" |

And when Jen arrived, Star was certainly wasting no time in setting up a surveillance network for the perpetrator of the act. That certainly brought a smile to Jen's face - she'd thought of the same idea; since the streets were filled with litter when no one was looking, the best way to catch the culprit red-handed would be through the use of electronic surveillance systems... or magic. Except that Jen doesn't believe magic exists, and even if it does using it would be beyond her ability. "Hey, Jen," Star greeted the purple-haired girl as she flashed Jen a grin. "I've got a fully charged camera, some extra batteries, and tons of memory, so I think I'm ready," she said. Star paused for a moment, rocking back and forth on her heels. "Oh, I also had like, three big mugs of coffee." "Brilliant idea, Star!" Jen beamed as she gave Star a thumbs up. "And let's see what I can do to tune things up with my technical expertise..." Jen procured her laptop from her field pack, and proceeded to set up additional cameras at other blind spots nearby, further extending the coverage of their surveillance network, with the cameras being patched into a program on her laptop to allow the two girls to see everything that the cameras pick up, it was almost like something a military communications specialist or a private detective would set up. "And in case you're feeling peckish, I didn't come ill-prepared," she continued as she dug into her pack and fished out a thermos flask of coffee, mint sweets, and... field ration packs, apparently purchased from a military surplus store. Jen grinned sheepishly at Star as she held up the foil packages containing these ready-to-eat meals, knowing that such stuff were probably quite alien to the blond photomancer. "They're better than they look, though." Jen said as she examined the labels on the packets. Ham and cheese penne, and Thai green curry chicken... pretty nice dishes, she must say. But anyhow... "Well, this is getting boring..." Jen muttered as she continued to stare at the laptop screen, she couldn't even take out her PSP to play, lest the littering act occurred when her attention was diverted! While her attention span and eye for detail was something Jen prided herself on, this was a night that would put even those to the test as hours passed uneventfully, until finally, something caused Jen's eyes to widen as she noted one of the video feed windows showing what the camera viewing the main street captured. "The hell?" Jen could not believe what she was seeing. "Jen!" The purple-haired girl jumped to her feet as Star shook her sharply. "I am not believing what I am seeing here..." Jen muttered as she stared at her surveillance network. Seriously, ghosts? The purple-haired girl watched dumbfounded as a small ghost placed a can on its head and declared itself the King of the Parade. Before she knew it, the place was soon swarming with ghosts. "This is the weirdest ghost story I've ever seen," Jen heard Star say to her. "Well, no kidding... I hope I'm not dreaming here," Jen replied, popping a Mentos mint into her mouth as a giant ghostly head rose from the ground and began spewing animals onto the street, eliciting much cheering from the spirits present on the scene. But Jen and Star would soon find that they weren't the only living ones present as an old man dressed in ragged clothes and torn jeans walked up to them, apparently enjoying the spectacle as he spoke happily about the parade having come to town again; and indeed several more hobos have arrived on the scene, joining in the ghosts in their festivities. "Does this happen every night?" Star asked the hobo. "What are they doing?" "It looks like a Mardi Gras parade to me," Jen mused as she watched the scene of celebration unfold before her. "And you mentioned the parade coming again... so how long has this thing been going on, and what are you all celebrating?" It was clear this old man knew something, and knowing the history behind this ghostly parade and the significance behind it, Jen surmised, would be a useful piece of starting information to get to the bottom of this mystery. |

"As far as I know you don't need a reason to celebrate!" The man said with a guffaw. "As far as I know you only need a celebration!" He said before mingling into the crowd of spirits. Hobos and spirits began throwing confetti of newspaper over the parade of marching animals. Whoops and laughter were heard all around. One of the ghosts walked into the parade before his legs began to stretch crazily. Soon he had legs three times the size of his body and was much like a stilts man. He then began juggling dumpsters as if they were balls. The trash was fling everywhere much to the applause of the spirits. Rather than trash of apple cores and banana peels it was balloons and streamers falling from the trash cans. Children joined in now. As time went on the spirits became more human and the humans became more like spirits. Even standing outside of it all Star and Jen would feel COMPELLED, only slightly though, to celebrate with them. An old man sat near the girls, drinking from a bottle. "The damned old fools gone and joined the parade.." He said sadly. "Won't see him again.." "Folk who join the celebration often find themselves not wanting to leave and become a part of it.. A parade is a special sort of thing. Everyone is invited. At first only wayward spirit children were there.. then adult ghosts appeared.. then people began joining it. The more they celebrate the more people who loose their place in the world just sort of fall in line with the parade.." He pulled down his hat before standing up with a sigh. "Well if he joined it.." His eyes disconnected into a daze as a goofy smile spread over his face. "I might as well go also..!" The king of the parade's head ride finally spewed the last flamingo from it's teeth and was ready to start the next stage. It held it's breath until it's ears burst into magnificent wings and the head began to slowly lift off the ground as the first float of the parade. |

Well, the hobo didn't turn out to be much help, because the next thing he did was rush right into the celebration. Star sighed, turning to watch the parade. The camera continued to run, filming the whole thing. It was a good thing too, because if it wasn't for the camera, nobody would believe her when she got back. Although come to think of it, the ghosts didn't look that weird anymore. A little off, but just like people at a weird festival. Everyone looked like they were having a good time, and Star did like a good party... Maybe she should join in. It would be fun, and they could stop the littering tomorrow. Anyway, they got what they were looking for, didn't they. They now knew what caused it. She turned towards Jen, about to suggest that they loosen up and have some fun too when another man spoke up from beside them. She turned towards him, her eyes widening slightly as he said that they wouldn't see him again. "Folk that join the celebration often find themselves not wanting to leave..." Star's eyes widened slightly at his words, watching as he also took off into the parade and disappeared in the sea of ghosts and homeless people. She turned towards Jen, doing her best to ignore the partying temptation going on in the streets next to them. "I don't know about you, but all of a sudden, I don't think we should go in there," she said, glancing back at her camera as she quickly ran what she knew through her head. The littering was caused by the parade. Ghosts and people showed up in the parade. If the second hobo was to be believed, children were the first one to enter, followed by adults, and later everyone that had lost their place in the world. Which was probably why Star and Jen hadn't lost their senses and jumped into the parade just yet. Even if they weren't from Hyakuji, they had homes and families and, in Star's case at least, a boyfriend. If Star was right, considering the current crowd, they would probably be the last to be drawn into the parade. She stared at the still running camera. "So...we know why it happens. What now? Do you wanna leave?" She should leave. She should pack up her stuff and get out before the parade caught her too, but she couldn't. Maybe it was the parade's allure, or maybe it was the part of her that just couldn't leave something unsolved, but Star wanted to get to the bottom of this one. "Y'know sir, that kinda logic doesn't fly by me," Jen replied with a raised eyebrow as the hobo told the two girls that one doesn't need a reason for celebration. "Hey wait!" But before Jen could do anything, the hobo was gone, as the homeless man ran off the pavement to join the parade on the street. Meanwhile, the parade just got more and more lively as more homeless people joined in the celebration, and as it went on for reasons Jen couldn't fathom the spirits looked less and less weird to her, looking more like costumed party-goers than ghosts; somewhat reminiscent of an El Día de los Muertos celebration. A tall ghost with stretch legs juggled trash cans around, but instead of leftover food and junk spilling out, balloons and confetti rained onto the streets. Jen blinked in disbelief as more humans joined the celebration, now besides ghosts and homeless folk, they were also joined by children. "You know, Star... I must say this is one lively rhythm," Jen mused as she found herself starting to groove to the parade fanfare, looking away from her laptop, which was still recording the footage from her surveillance network, opting instead to watch the spectacle with her own eyes, still swaying to the music. Jen couldn't put her finger to it... but she had this strange feeling to just jump in and join the festivities. And why not? She knew herself and Star to be the type who have a hard time saying no to a time of fun and enjoyment. Just surrender oneself to the music, lose yourself to the ecstasy of the moment. They'd found the answer to the question after all, and with the evidence caught on camera, all they need to do was circulate the videos around the internet. And as for the litter on the streets - well, that was the job of the road sweepers. So why not just party for now, to give themselves a pat on the back for an investigation job well done? "The damned old fool's gone and joined the parade..." Jen turned her head to look at an old man sitting nearby, drinking from a bottle. "Won't see him again.." he continued in a sad tone. This stopped Jen in her tracks, as suddenly it didn't seem like such a good idea, and that sentiment was echoed by Star. "I don't know about you, but all of a sudden, I don't think we should go in there," The photomancer said, eliciting a nod from Jen. "Right you are, Star," the purple-haired girl replied. What had she been thinking? "Damn, I think this parade has some kind of hold over those in the area..." Jen took a deep breath to steady herself, placing a hand on her temple before reaching into one of her pockets and taking out another Mentos mint, popping the candy into her mouth. "Folk who join the celebration often find themselves not wanting to leave and become a part of it.. A parade is a special sort of thing. Everyone is invited. At first only wayward spirit children were there.. then adult ghosts appeared.. then people began joining it. The more they celebrate the more people who loose their place in the world just sort of fall in line with the parade..." The man continued, as Jen copied down what he said on her smart phone. That explains why the spell of the parade hadn't taken its hold over them. Jen still had people she cared deeply about, and the same could most likely be said of Star as well. "Well if he joined it.." The man suddenly seemed to go into a daze as a goofy smile spread on his face. "I might as well go also..!" Before the man could join the parade however, as soon as he took the first step past the girls Jen let out a screech, a kiai (spirit concentration) shout commonly heard in Asian martial arts, delivering a forearm strike to the rear of the man's head, near the base of the skull, knocking him unconscious with a carefully-aimed and well-timed strike. "Looks like all those ghost myths I read came in handy," Jen commented. "Say Star, you ever read up on procession of the dead myths like the Wild Hunt in Europe, or the Nightmarchers in Hawaii? I think I'm starting to see some kind of connection here." "So...we know why it happens. What now? Do you wanna leave?" Star asked. Jen didn't think it was a bad idea - they found the answers to the riddle; they learned what caused the littering in the streets, but that only leaves the mystery half-solved; since that still doesn't do anything to stop the streets from being littered every time this parade of spirits comes to town. "I dunno... but before we leave, I think we should at least try to prevent those spirits from making a mess in the streets." Jen remarked as she folded her arms in front her chest. "HEY YOU! KING OF THE PARADE!" Jen shouted above the fanfare and cheering, trying to get the attention of the ghost that called itself the king of the parade. A WORD WITH YOU PLEASE?" Jen ran along the pavement, following the parade king's ghostly head ride, waving her arms and jumping. |

The king spotted the girls and laughed with glee. "How interesting~" He said as the girls joined into the parade but instead of Jubilee they demanded a conference with the king! He snapped and suddenly two large heads with wings for ears formed under them, actually they formed all over. All of these heads were smaller than the kings. It seemed that these were the floats. Though from what spirits they had been made was a mystery to everyone. "You may have no more than one word but no less than ten starting now!" He said with a gidddy laugh. However after a moment he counted and laughed again. "NO LESS THAN THREE NO MORE THAN FIVE, STARTING NOW!" He said chuckling and falling over backwards with laughter. "So what's up?" He said carefully counting his words. "You may both ask questions." He said very carefully. "But only yes or no." He admonished. These were his rules and thus rules of the parade for he was king. They found themselves somehow mentally bound now to questions with only yes or no answers. |

Star nodded at Jen's words, thinking back to those stories she had read. "If that's the case, we should be running," she said with a nervous laugh. "Don't both of those draw you in just by being in the vicinity?" She glanced nervously at the parade that still looked pretty tempting to go and join even though she knew better. Star found herself being suddenly grateful that she didn't decide to investigate the parade before meeting up with her family and her mentor, getting together with Meglumar, and reestablishing her place in the world. That could have been messy... Then again, you know, party for all eternity...she could think of worse things. Bad Star! Bad! Focus! She glanced towards the parade as Jen shouted at the king. Made sense. If they wanted to stop this, the best thing they could do was get at the source, and the Catholic-girl side of Star just couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that there was something inherently sinister about this parade. Besides the fact that it sucked up hobos. Her hand unconsciously went up around her neck, her thumb brushing over the crucifix that lay beneath her clothes. She lowered her hand before anyone could see, snatched the video camera off its tripod, and took off after Jen. At first she thought that the king wouldn't come over to them--after all, didn't the ghosts at these sort of things usually not pay attention to the screaming villagers on the sidelines--but apparently, she was wrong. Just showed what she knew about sinister ghostly soul-sucking parades of littering. She stood a little bit behind Jen, making sure to keep her feet planted firmly on the sidewalk as she watched the king. No less than three, no more than five. Yes and no only. Got it. She thought to herself, quickly making sense of the king's speech. It would be difficult limiting herself to yes and no questions, but the moment Star tried to ask something else, even just a clarification on the rules, she found that the words wouldn't leave her throat. It looked like the parade king was serious about this sort of thing. Well, damn. "Can the people leave?" she asked, asking the first question that came to mind. She made sure the recorder was still on so that she could record his response. There. Four words, yes and no question. I can play by your rules too, King-y!" Edited by Chizu, Apr 12 2010, 08:20 PM.

Jen grinned as the ghost that called itself the King of the Parade actually acknowledged the girls. She recalled in the texts she had read about ghosts tend to be incapable of acknowledging the presence of the living around them due to - among various theories - existing in a parallel space with a different concept of time as compared to ours, effectively making them (to mortal observers) some sort of a movie show reel being played out for all eternity. Of course, this theory only works if one were talking about apparition sightings, rather than spooks that are actually capable of interacting (sometimes unpleasantly) with the living, such as poltergeist activity and spirit possession. But then again, paranormal studies was hardly a subject Jen took the effort to read and memorize in detail, so much of what she knew about ghosts were limited to the sparse bits of lore that managed to leave a lasting impression on her. But in the case of apparitions, another legend holds that ghosts do acknowledge the living when addressed firmly. Jen nodded calmly as the King of the Parade told the girls that he would answer their questions, but only in the form of 'yes' and 'no'. Which meant, yes and no questions only, and their questions must be no shorter than three words and no longer than five. Here she was, faced with something that she isn't used to dealing with, or for that matter didn't even believe in. However, the purple-haired girl saw no reason to be frightened. Perhaps this was due to the side of her that hungered for knowledge. While there were many who would scream and run away at the sight of the incomprehensible, Jen instead felt curious. What!? Jen exclaimed in her thoughts as she tried to ask the King of the Parade how exactly the rules worked - if she were to play a game, she would only do so after being clear about the rules, only to find that their game had already started, so when she tried to ask about the rules the purple-haired girl found, to her disbelief, that no words left her throat. Jen cursed inwardly at the predicament she'd gotten herself into; for all the pride she placed in her logic, it was one of those situations when her logic simply fails. "Can the people leave?" Star got the ball rolling by being the first to fire off a question to the King. Yes and no only... so it's a matter of asking the correct series of questions, Jen thought. Now this was a tough one for her, given her usual style of asking questions in a more scientific manner. This one seemed more like some kind of guessing game. For now, Jen merely kept quiet to observe the ghost's response. Perhaps, like all rules she might be able to find a kind of loophole to exploit. Edited by Lawman, Apr 13 2010, 10:20 AM.

"Why would they want to?" He said, having never said that he had to answer in yes or no whether they had to ask questions in that manner or not. He tapped his chin. "You think linearly." He said idly. "A parade is fun." He said eying the event with a broad smile. Yes, he'd created something quite amazing here. A parade that was loved by all. "This time it's seven to nine words with no commas!" He said laughing voraciously. It seemed that this was his favorite new game. He had followed his new rule even while stating it which to him earned him MAD BONUS POINTS. However as they spoke the parade continued. "By the way you get three more each!" He said adding in an arbitrary limit because he felt like it. He didn't want to waste the whole event on just this even if it was fun. He had to keep the night lively after-all. |

Point taken, thought Star, glancing around at the celebration. Even constant partying would bore her after a while, but that was because she could...technically...in some countries...go out and get wasted and come back. For people that didn't have much celebration in their daily life, or for people that didn't have anything to go home to... Well, she could certainly see the appeal. His answer, though, was a little annoying. But she should have expected it. After all, nowhere in the rules did it say they couldn't be bent, and games like this usually worked that way. But if he could bend the rules a bit, then so could she. She paused for a moment and considered the new rules, glancing around and wondering what exactly she was trying to achieve here. For starters, an end to the littering. Explanations would be nice too. And...just in case something evil and sinister was happening here, maybe a stop to it. But the first two came first. Her eyes lit up, a sudden idea hitting her. The rules said that she could only ask yes or no questions, and use seven to nine words. Would it work? Well, there was only one way to find out. She smiled at the king, a mischievous gleam in her eyes. "I'd really like to know what's going on here," she said. Nine words exactly, and that was a statement, not a question. Sometimes, Star loved the English language. |

"Why would they want to?" The King replied, eliciting a raised eyebrow from Jen. That was not a yes or no answer! But then again, Jen had already sensed a loophole in the ghost's ruling - after all, he never said that he was bound to answer the girls' questions in the form of yes or no answers. "You think linearly," The King continued idly, tapping on his chin. "A parade is fun." A broad smile dawned on The King's face as he watched over the parade. Thinking linearly, as much as it pains Jen to admit it, the King of the Parade had just played her for a fool. "This time it's seven to nine words with no commas!" The King laughed manically, apparently enjoying his little word game session with the two girls. "I'd really like to know what's going on here," Star spoke up, as Jen studied what the blond photomancer said. Nine words, no commas. But it didn't sound like a question, making Jen wonder if The King would be obliged to honor them with an answer. But then again, it seemed that he left the rules vague to begin with. So he'd better not cry foul if they didn't play by the rules. "And tell me what became of those who joined," Jen added. Do they end up becoming a ghost themselves? Where do they end up after the parade is over That was what Jen wanted to know. The hobo said that those who joined the parade never returned, but what exactly becomes of them? Did they die? Or are they permanently lost in the realm of spirits? Things were looking interesting indeed for Jen. |

"Statements.. commands.. But only I give commands in the parade!" He said greatly annoyed by their presumptuous mannerisms. "So long as I have the crown, I am king!" he roared, suddenly their heads popped and the two would be sent tumbling back down to the ground as he scowled with frustration. They had RUINED IT! Such a good game! A fun game! But oh well, there was still the parade! Still fun to be had! it was his time now.. The parade seemed to have reached it's peak size now, jugglers and dancers, and confetti, and hobos that seemed like ghosts, and ghosts that seemed like humans=. All of it was now pounding and roaring and swelling outwards as they approached the end of the parade. The girls would see, at the farthest end of the street, was a white ethereal light. The parade would take some time still to get there but that seemed to be the destination. The king pulled the can closer to his head, to all around it appeared a regal crown. A frown furrowed onto his brow. The parade wouldn't end, and why should it? Everyone loved it. |
