NICE DRIVE!
|
Gasping in pain, his eyes wide in a sort of shock, Hiro Tsukasa held out a hand grasping onto Rozanny's shoulder weakly. His vision could barely make out her face but the faint voice sounded familiar. Blasts and shouts seemed to be heard but it was almost like they were miles away. He opened his mouth to speak and began to cough uncontrollably for a moment as he slumped down a bit further. "R-Rozanny?" Hiro questioned in a weak voice trying his best to laugh like he usually did when ontop of a battle but falling very short, "Alexia's... o-okay, right?" ==== "Listen to you all," Xemnas cackled as the initial few began to rush at him while some present began to make clear their own intentions, "You can't even form a united front! How do you expect to defeat me when your goals aren't even the same!? Will you all really stand by and let yourselves be ran ragged fighting and then on the off-chance you win it'll be just so another here can overpower you and steal Kingdom Hearts for themselves?!" Spinning his arms in a circle Xemnas crafted a barrier of Nothingness before him just as Nickle chucked forth Kaneryuu. The blade impacted the barrier and came to a total dead stop before clattering on the stone ground of the chamber. Next came Chizu at lightning speed appearing before Xemnas, as the Nothingness Barrier dispersed, and slashed into him violently as large cuts ripped through him from the shoulders spraying forth blood. This was compounded as Agito cut into his body as well in unison. Xemnas laughed wildly as if the pain were a mere amusement just as Chizu appeared back and unleashed a gale of wind. The rushing air slammed into Xemnas as his body began to flicker and waver. The mere after-image of his own teleportation, used before her first slash had reached his body, dissipated from the force of her attack. Xemnas reappeared behind the girl grasping the back of her head and forcing her in place, unable to move as her own gale of wind would slam directly into her just as he teleported once more letting her take the full attack alone. Whether Agito would be struck in the process as well was simply a matter of his own agility. Regardless, around the same time Xemnas vanished again was exactly the same moment Ganta's flames were rushing to mix with the blast of wind. The upside of this was that Xemnas was nowhere to be seen to meet with Ganta's powerful strikes. However, this also meant unless dire action was taken Chizu would not only be smashed into her own blast of wind, but also the torrent of fire as well. It was dirty fighting. Even Hiro Tsukasa, who possessed such magic to use teleportation, rarely made use of it unless it was the single sole means possible in a dire situation. But the ethics of a dying man were nowhere to be found in Xemnas' cruelty. Xemnas reappeared at the back of the room uncaring on the outcome for any of those facing him. "You're all so foolish," He scoffed as he began to reach inside his robes for something, "Did you really think it would be this easy? I've written this story down to its conclusion... did the information that boy died for delude your judgement into actually having a chance at this?" The direct approach had been taken already; defeat Xemnas. If this one criteria was passed the entire issue would be resolved. However, unsatisfied with waiting others had begun their own plan for victory. Netto's Gospel Fang crashed into the Heart Barrier and promptly vanished in a flash of light being utterly erased from existence. "Fool, are you really that stupid?" Xemnas scoffed, "The Keyblades... weapons formed from the heart... Just because they're not sentient did you believe they could pass? Once the limit has been reached no Hearts may pass or exist beyond the Heart Barrier. Just be glad you learned the power of my device via a mere weapon rather than your own life. NOW!!!" Shouting in an excited tone, showing off, Xemnas drew forth a second remote and prompted jammed down the large red button upon it. "Kingdom Hearts Manipulation Device Number Zero-Zero-Two.... The Heart Cannon," Xemnas mumbled slowly. Suddenly, Principal Hitagawa cried out in pain as she fell from her chair writhing and contorting against the cold stone floor in pain. Above, in the sky, the Kingdom Hearts Moon began to glow in a pale red light. Seconds later a concentrated beam of pure energy from Kingdom Hearts itself blasted down upon the tower. In a split second it instantly erased the four summoned Heartless from existence ripping a hole through the roof, a chunk of the floor outside the Heart Barrier and on down to drill a huge hole in the ground floor of the tower. The Altar of Naught creaked and groaned, the tower seeming to tilt slightly, taking far too much structural damage than would be considered safe. It was clear Xemnas cared nothing for anything else than his goal at this point. Not the Nobodies he sacrificed to complete Kingdom Hearts nor the Castle That Never Was; even the World itself was expendable if that was what it took. Unfortunately, while Ed's use of the friendly fire off ability was a smart move the effects seemed to only take effect outside the Heart Barrier proving the fact that the Hearts existing within were separated and totally alone in their fight without outside support. True to his words, as Xemnas said, the only factor for their gain in the situation was the ability for those within to exit at any point of their choosing and let the others take their place. Raising his arms, Xemnas summoned forth five spheres of pure concentrated Nothingness Energy and chucked them forth in various directions one aimed to strike each of his opponents. If the Spheres contacted anyone they would feel their own lifeforce begin being sapped away rapidly; even a slight graze would feel as if they'd suddenly had the wind knocked out of them. "It's over," Xemnas taunted, "I'll kill all of you! Five at a time, until no one remains!" |

"Damn that guy likes to talk. Even I don't like the sound of my own voice that as much as he likes his. Ha ha ha." Seth laughed. It was only a matter of time before someone jumped out of the arena and he wanted to make sure he'd be the first one to jump in when that chance came. Suddenly Xenmas activated something he called the Heart Cannon. The beam of light that followed his declaration made some impressive damage. It was a ways off from Seth's position but the resulting damage and shifting of the tower was enough to make him stumble. Recovering his footing he said, "Now that's more like it. I imagine that Kingdom Hearts itself has even more power than that thing. Too bad that you're not going to be the one using it." Maybe it was his slowly cracking sanity but Seth felt assured of his victory. "Only a matter of time. It's only a matter of time before you bite the dust. Must make you pretty sad that all your hard work will have been for nothing. Oh, I forgot. You don't have a heart or emotions or anything like that right? Well I guess it really doesn't matter to you. Heh, ha ha ha ha ha. In the end everything you've done, your entire existence is just as meaningless as you claim ours is. Wonder how you would feel about THAT if you could feel at all." |

No way... thought Chizu, eyes wide as Xemnas seemed to disappear in front of her. He had...teleported? But she hit him, right?!? She had to have hit him, she felt it! She let out a grunt as she felt a hand close around her hair, her head snapping back as someone pulled her back and into the path of her own attack. Her eyes widened as she tried to twist out of her captor's hold. Chizu's elbow snapped back in an attempt to elbow him in the stomach, and she felt her arm brush against folds of black cloth. Xemnas?!? There?!? Suddenly, the hand released her, leaving her with only a split second before her own blast of wind combined with Ganta's flames struck her. Chizu's eyes narrowed, all traces of her shock gone. She bent her knees slightly, the wind around her twisting to bear her in place in the air as she crossed her arms in front of her chest and uncrossed them in a sharp slashing motion. The gale heading towards her parted along that line, the wind going to either side of her. She wasn't so weak an elemancer that she couldn't even control her own attacks. The two separate blasts of wind suddenly turned around, crisscrossing in front of her as the torrent of flames crashed into them. As a barrier, it wasn't much, but it deflected most of the flames and their heat. She could feel herself get burned by some of them, but after the fight with Kinclex, one burn just felt like another. The wind around her faded as she landed on the ground, turning around sharply to face Xemnas. Her eyes narrowed in anger as he set a sphere of Nothingness her way. She seemed to disappear from view as the sphere neared her, reappearing in the air above him. One of her keyblades, the one in her left hand, disappeared in a flash of light as she raised her hand. "If that's how you want to play!" she shouted towards him. The wind around Xemnas would suddenly twist, forming a spinning ring about as thick as an inner tube that would hover in the air around him. The ring would suddenly collapse inward. If Xemnas didn't move, he would find that the ring had serrated edges that would soon turn messy if they caught him. ~ * ~ * ~ Star ran up the staircase towards the Altar, still in her drive form, the white wings that had come with it pressed against her back as she ran. Her eyes were still gold, and her hands glowed with light around the hilts of her keyblades, the only things that were still keeping her sane. She had to get to Xemnas. They had to finish this. She let out a scream as an explosion suddenly sent the tower shaking and she fell forward, holding onto the railing tightly for support. She hugged the railing until the tower stopped shaking, looking up with wide eyes. What had just happened? Everyone...please be alright... she thought. |

Meteor On Ready?
|
Ayane Isuzu had arrived to this final party too late. It had taken much too long to defeat Oxkito, it seemed, since even as she ran up the tower in the Faiz armor the sound of combat and destruction was resonating through the entire structure. When she finally emerged on the top floor, what she saw was confusing. The majority of those who had arrived before her were just standing around on the edges of the room doing nothing. In the middle of the room were five fighters doing battle against a lone dark figure. In the very back was a woman strapped to a chair. She didn't recognize anyone, but she wasn't stupid. The dark figure had to be Xenmas. Both of her fists tightened as she began to walk briskly towards the combat zone, picturing just how she'd tear him apart. However, she stopped only a meter from the Heart Barrier, puzzled. Something had separated that part of the room from the dimension making up the rest of the world. Even so, assuming it was made up of something like the portals used to traverse dimensions back in Traverse Town, why was everyone just standing around idle!? Why were only five people taking a stand!? "It's over. I'll kill all of you! Five at a time, until no one remains!" bellowed Xenmas from within the barrier. I see. Now it makes sense. However he did it, there can only be five inside that space. Tch... I have to sit it out and watch!? This is ridiculous! Ayane thought angrily, turning away from the barrier and walking back to where the other students were. One very real regret she had was having to leave Autovajin back in Dark City. Had it not been disabled by Oxkito's beasts, she could have at least tried to order it inside that barrier. Maybe it only repelled living beings? For now, Kamen Rider Faiz was out of the fight, benched. She used her spectator time to prepare the arsenal she'd planned to use on Xenmas. First, equipping the Faiz Edge, the blazing crimson beam saber she'd salvaged from AutoVajin before leaving it behind. [READY] Then, in place of the Mission Memory, she removed the Accel Mission Memory from the Accel Watch and slipped it onto the Faiz Phone, unlocking her Accel Form. [COMPLETE] Now all she had to do was press a single button and she'd be ready to take Xenmas on directly. All that remained once her Rider Gear was set up was to prepare herself mentally. This would likely also be the last time she'd ever use any alignmental abilities, so it was time to treat them as unrestricted use. As much as she could throw at this bastard, she would. Just you wait, Xenmas... just you wait. I'll give you what you deserve for destroying Hyakuji and creating this Hell... for forcing me to take this path... for splitting me from Aisia. For ruining my life... I will take yours. Count on it. |

The next person to arrive after Ayane did would not be making a dramatic spiel as to why he wanted to defeat Xemnas. It would be pointless to repeat what a number of people had said, after all. The fact of the matter is, Xemnas' ambitions needed to be stopped and this was the only way to bring their home back. The fact that this person was here was more than enough proof that he wanted to use everything in his power in order to save the day... Of course, that he was technically a she at the moment, and technically right now she didn't have much power left from the previous battle. Kouta "Kotoko" Azuma had to be carried here by a certain giant mechanical insect known as the Gouram, because for the time being, she was out cold. It wasn't that she was knocked out due to injury but...instead she was asleep of her own accord. 'I need all the energy I can muster for this next fight.' she said, before falling asleep while sitting down crosslegged on the back of the mighty beetle which soon carried her to this location, the final stage. One of her boasted two-thousand skills apparently. After being knocked into Growing form due to fatigue...Kotoko needed to rest up in order to face the final challenge, so she took a nap, even if it was at the worst possible time and place. It still begged the question how she hadn't fallen -off- the Gouram yet, however. Much like Kotoko, another female would be a little fatigued when she ended up here. Kazuna had opted not to transform after being knocked out of transformation earlier. After all, she had gone into her King Form, which was taxing to the point of near fainting. Her will to end things was the only thing carrying her this far...but how long it would last was another story entirely. Still, she had to hold on and fight...and for the most part ignored Xemnas' rant from inside the cage and focused on getting her head back in the game. Of course, she knew as is she probably didn't have a chance...which caused the youngest Rider of BOARD to uneasily look at the Rouse Absorber on her left arm. Could she handle a second transformation into King Form? Could she keep herself sane under the influence of all thirteen Undead? Would the power be enough to end the battle before she was finally turned into a Joker? Well, she'd find out when it was her turn... Edited by Yosuke, Apr 21 2010, 02:31 AM.

Netto grits his teeth. Netto: Keyblades are a no-go. I could try throwing rocks, but even if they got through, it's extremely unlikely Xemnas would actually get hit. That teleportation... He blinks. Netto: "Teleportation"...? He smirks to himself. Netto: I have an idea. Unfortunately, it seems Xemnas has more than one way of protecting Kingdom Hearts from us, so we'll have to wait until we're inside the barrier to execute it. For now...Randy! Slot in Slasher! Randy: Can do! What else? Netto: Hmm...some other reusable things...I'd say HeroSword and SuperVulcan oughta do it! Randy: You got it! Slasher, HeroSword, SuperVulcan, SLOT IN! A fairly plain sword appears in CrossD Spectrum's left hand, and an unrealistically large, 10-foot-long sword appears in his right hand. Netto: Just you wait, Xemnas. You may have set the battlefield, but WE'LL decide the victors! Netto's custom: FULL Netto's chips: N/A Randy's custom: 1/8 Randy's chips: Slasher (left hand), HeroSword (right hand), SuperVulcan Spectrum's current Subtypes: Sword/None (also Aqua from AquaCustom Style) Programs: AquaCustom Style, DarkLicense Spectrum's Health: 150% (MAX) |

"Thanks for looking out for my unreliable partner" Miyuki smirked, thanking the gouram and floating along beside it in Jack Form, conserving her strength in a lazy flight profile that at least made for good energy economy. Not tat she absolutely needed to. She still had an AP refill if it was required, and a 'King' form in reserve by using that card if it came to that, but she inwardly hoped it wouldn't. The category King cards, only recently sealed before this, were still untested, and uncertain. She really didn't want to use such uncertain things if she didn't have to. But it didn't really matter. If the need came up, she'd use them. She was prepared to go through any lengths to finally get it over with, prepared to play every card in her hand to resolve this nonsense here and now. So there, floating with her fellows (and a few rather unwanted people that noone cared about and wondered how they got in), she mentally checked herself and waited for her turn in the calm before the storm. |

The Black Reaper
|
Before Ganta could attack, his target had vanished. He whipped his head around to find him, and saw him behind Chizu, forcing her into the path of the combined attack. He growled with irritation, immediately drawing the flames away from Chizu. At worst, she would be a little singed from the attack. Sorry Chizu." He called. So Xemnas had teleportation powers, this was going to get irritating. Ganta slid to a stop as his claws dug into the stone floor. He had to try and get something done before his drive form was spent. However, he was distracted by the blast of energy from this cannon Xemnas had shouted about. He clung to the floor as it rocked from the impact, blasting a huge shaft down to the bottom of the castle. "Tch, show off, all he did was make a big hole." Ganta returned his attention back to Xemnas in time to see a ball of energy headed his way. "Damn it all..." He muttered as he leaped to the side. The ball passed him but grazed the tip of his tail. It instantly solidified into rock, and fell off, the heat drained from it. "Great, another new trick." Now that there were no more distractions, Ganta rushed towards Xemnas again. This time he released his keyblades for a moment to perform a single handsign. He was interested to see what kind of power boost his spell would have. "Igneus Praefoco!" a thick dome of flames suddenly formed over Xemnas, surrounding him with heat that would have made a smelting furnace seem cold. Once the dome was in place, Ganta formed 2 long whips from the lava surrounding his body, and grabbed his keyblades with them. He threw them both at the dome from different angles, hoping he could catch him off guard with the two-pronged attack. |

Roz almost freaked when she saw how much blood was still seeping out from the hole in Hiro's chest, she hissed softly and gritted her teeth when his hand grasped onto her sore shoulder.. the one that got burned when she fought against Noxi... Forgetting her own pain, she pulled him to her.. holding him much like a mother would hug their child.. "Hush...Sshhh" she didn't know what she could do to stop the bleeding,, "Alexia is fine.. I shielded her...and took the damage" The bubble of fire came close to them, it held within an unharmed Alexia sleeping.."Hiro.. how can I help?" Roz whispered caressing his head in worry,.. her hands shaking sooo badly.. |

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
|
"You could help by letting fix him up with one of my World's HealPatches, for one. Or maybe two HealPatches for both sides." SH said calmly, leaning down next to the other side of Hiro. Kyra had already brought out the medkit from her mouth, covered in slimy saliva, and handed it over to her master. "After all, unlike us, that white-haired albino in the cloak can't heal himself." "That's true, Master. But the fact that he resembles Wataru's nobody is uncanny, even though he doesn't have those red tips on the hair and the tan skin." Kyra said, ready to begin surgery to seal up the blood vessels and attempt to refix the spine. Even when the tower tilted a bit, she clamped down and held SH's arm until it was restablized. "That's why this is a parallel world, Kyra. Obviously, this is a 'clone' of our Nemesis, since he obviously wouldn't share any form of background or backstory on how he became a Nobody to begin with. Or why only thirteen of them have human forms and the rest do not." SH nodded, scrimmaging through scalpels and pliers in the medkit. "Brrr.....just thinking of that guy makes my digital skin crawl. He had the ability to command death and dimensions, in a way similar to Xemnas. Not to mention one of the main reasons he formed the organization was to take control of all 13 classes of Nobody Minions." Kyra shivered, discomforted by this fact. "I guess that since he is unwilling to help his Nobody brethen and keep the power all to himself, the Minions will refuse to work for Xemnas unless he turns them human once more." "Good point. It would be bothersome if he were to fill the room with Nobody minions like those other Organization members, considering the limited space available. But it does not make much sense since Maxer, who controlled time, considers Xemnas to be stronger than him, even with that stone on his person. Hmm...." SH frowned, trying to assemble the puzzle together in his head. "Meow." (Oi, Netto. Have your navi launch me through that hole in a Fastball Special. I want to WorldDragon Kingdom Hearts up there and absorb the darkness entrapped inside of it, so the Heart Barrier would drop.) Tango 'said', ready to jumpstart Hiro's heart if he began to fade away. |

Kaixa saw the attacks by everyone, and thought she was lucky she disn't enter that melee. But the bastard was good, and even being hit wasn't enough. But then he did some new thing, and she moved. Unfortunately, her split second dodge was too late, and her arm got hit, just above the key-polearm she held, and as she fell to the ground and tumbled up back to a respectable stance, she felt winded. "Damn, gotta not be hit again." She said to no one in particular, and ran forth, behind another attack and sliced diagonally with the key-polearm. |

Erin's teeth gritted together as he watched his allies fight. He wasn't as strong as them but being stuck out here watching the battle with Xemnas made his feel useless. He could rush into the barrier when someone got knocked out but... There was no point in doing that sort of thing. He'd just be there instead of someone who could deal more damage. He stood there watching the fight. Was everyone going to be alright? He'd been telling himself that everything would work out in the end since this whole multiverse mess started. "Damn it..." If he went up against that guy, what could he even do. Well, it wasn't like he had nothing. He had the powers of light on him at least. He could hit that guy as hard as he needed to. His eyes shot open, full of confidence. Yeah, if it came down to it he could fight but right now... "KICK THAT GUY'S ASS!" It was up to the guys already in the Barrier. |

Nickle watched as Kaneryuu impacted against Xemnas’ barrier. Nickle immediately retracted the blade and watched as the others attacked Xemnas, taking in his reactions to the lot of them. Nickle sheathed Kaneryuu, instead deciding to fight with his own powers this time round. The blades would be more of a hindrance than a help the way he say it, especially in chain-blade mode. His own lightning bolts were able to travel much faster at any rate. A type of laser, shields and teleportation…it wasn’t going to be an easy fight. The first two techniques, although basic in their concept were a strong power base. Coupled with a ruthless teleportation fighting style, Xemnas wasn’t one to be toyed with. The tower was beginning to take serious damage from the Heart Cannon and Nickle couldn’t help but be astounded at how Xemnas had thought ahead for all contingencis. However, he couldn’t dwell on the thought for long as a Sphere of Nothingness came swirling towards him. Nickle had seen it coming from a ways off due to having been watching Xemnas. He did a break-roll out of the way and decided to try an entirely new tactic. If Nickle could pull this off with a certain amount of success, then he could combine it with another elemancer’s attack. He began to run to the side of Xemnas, forming a ring of lightning in his hands and slowly making it grow larger and larger until it had about a quarter of a meter’s radius. He then formed another one immediately after and left them to orbit just in front of his left hand. He made certain to give both the rings a negative charge. He then pulled out something from his pocket. A gold coloured Abenobashi Token. Placing it in his left hand, he charged it and aimed to flick it towards Xemnas. Not the most eloquent of railguns, but that didn’t mean it wouldn’t pack a punch. He flicked it forward at tremendous speeds and as it felt in-between the rings of lightning, they began to orbit it on either side. Nickle then thrust his right arm forward, firing a Thunder Pulse and then splitting it into 2 bolts of lightning. As the bolts travelled, each one went through one of the rings orbiting the token. “Thunder Pulse Shotgun!” Nicke’s voice seemed to be drowned out by the thunderous explosion that was heard next. As the bolts of lightning passed through the rings, due to both of them being negatively charged, the mass amounts of electricity were unable to be in such close proximity. As such, the separated away from each other in the form of tendrils of lightning, aiming to capture Xemnas in a net of lightning and then have the railgun-token deal a critical blow. However, it would also allow Nickle to maybe see, if Xemnas’ teleportation could be disrupted somehow. |

For a moment, Hajime thought that his keyblade strikes finally did Xemnas in, albeit anti-climatically and way too easy for someone who was supposed to be the leader of an organization that thwarted the very existence of many worlds. And indeed, he felt his rage soften up a little knowing that he can finally put Hotaru to- Xemnas was laughing, and suddenly, he was no longer there. For a moment, Hajime realized his mistake of letting his rage fuel his fighting spirit just as Xemnas had mocked them, and no sooner has he turns to look for Xemnas, a gust of wind that Chizu had originally aimed at Xemnas now combined with flames from elsewhere was now aiming for them, and he could only react by pointing a hand towards it in a useless gesture of defense. Lucklily for him, Chizu was able to split and divert the wind and flames away before it would seriously hurt them, and Hajime muttered an inaudible thanks at the silver haired girl as she continued her assault on Xemnas. Hajime meanwhile, stayed his ground, fearing that Xemnas would try his disappearing trick again. There was no coordination between them, that much Hajime can see the truth in Xemnas’ word. He wasn’t sure of his place now, wasn’t sure if he really wanted to fight for Hotaru and all those people that had died, lost or hurt no thanks to the selfish reason of a heartless being. While the thought of betraying their revenge enrages him, his mind was clear on the fact that this was just not the way for them to go at it, especially not when they were limited by numbers. Hajime was still deep in thought even as Xemnas began chucking spheres of nothingness at them, and in response, Hajime charges forward, and using his two keyblades, he spun in place and tries to hit and bat the sphere back towards Xemnas like some over-sized glowing baseball. “Even if you kill one of us, a stronger one would replace us so nothing is lost.” Hajime said out aloud, feeling a bit chatty himself; something to take his mind off the doubts he was having of this fight. “We are brought here by your evils Xemnas; we lost our home, our loved ones, all because of your selfish deeds, and that fuels us to go on further than we may have imagined ourselves. By your own design, we will be your undoing!” |
