'I can't believe I'm actually here in this...weird ass academy. Never heard of a Japanese school that used a 4-year system, but at least it's similar to the system back at home. It'll make it easier to transition to, at least.' Priscilla Yamamoto thought to herself as she stood in front of the Fudo House dorms, a backpack slung across her shoulders, a suitcase held in one hand, and her trusty guitar case carried in the other. 'This is a high school, right? Since when did high schools have dorms? This is going to take some time to get used to.' Walking past unfamiliar faces to the Girls-Only dorm, Priscilla bit her bottom lip as she tried not to think about all the friends she had to leave back at the United States. It really wasn't fair of her parents to suddenly make her study here. She had only visited Japan a couple of times before on vacation, so she was at least a little familiar with the country, but to suddenly be forced to live here for at least the rest of high school? That was going to be hard... She did the assigned paperwork and whatever forms they needed to fill out and in exchange she got a single bronze key. The key to her new home for the next three years. She dangled it in front of her face, looking displeased as she walked down the hallway to where her room actually was. 'I hope it's at least nice looking. ...Or habitable. And I hope my roommate isn't some sort of harpy that will make me want to crush her face. Ugh, just thinking about girls like that...' The key slid easily into the doorknob and she took her first step inside. The room wasn't elegant. Far from it, actually. But it was workable, she guessed. Some decorations, a bit of personality, a very amiable roommate and she guessed she wouldn't mind living in it. 'Might as well unpack. I can explore the campus later...for now I just want to relax and play a bit.' |

"Yume ga asu wo yondeiru~ Tamashii no sakebi saa~ LETS GO PASSHON!~" a girl sung happily while carrying boxes with her. In addition to her clothes and other necessities, which have been sent directly to her room, these boxes have the things that really matters to her inside. That's right! These boxes are filled with Super Robot figures and DVDs. She didn't really pay attention to her surroundings, and was focused on finding her room so that she can quickly set up her figures. After walking for a while, she finally reached the room, and noticed that the door was already open. Placing the boxes she was holding beside the door, she took a peek inside. And there she was! Her roommate was there, checking out the room. At that moment, Mitsuki had a brilliant idea. Placing her bag on the ground, she quickly searched for her Gekiganger-3 mask. After all, entering the room normally would be pretty boring! Quickly putting on the mask, Mitsuki slowly sneaked into the room before jumping up to try and pounce the other girl from the back! "Gekigan Flaaaaaaaaaaaaare! DONDONDONDONDONDONWOOOSHBOOM!" Edited by Basu, Apr 4 2010, 11:53 PM.

'There! All set up.' Priscilla thought proudly to herself as she shoveled the last of her clothes unceremoniously into one of the closets. Her backpack was lying in a lump against the wall, her clothes where somewhat sorted inside of her closet, and her guitar case already had its latches open so that she could take out that beautiful Gibson and begin playing. And that's exactly what she would have done if it wasn't for one little interruption. "Gekigan Flaaaaaaaaaaaaare! DONDONDONDONDONDONWOOOSHBOOM!" "SON OF A BITCH!" Priscilla yelled out in perfectly good English, her reflexes already causing her to call upon her godly powers and summon lightning to surround her body. "Priscilla! Remember, you can't reveal your powers to anyone! Never use them unless you really have to!" Her mother's words rang in her mind and she quickly channeled the electricity into her fingers, out of sight from whoever the hell was getting a free piggyback ride from her. However, her control ended then as she stumbled backwards and the electricity discharged...straight into her foot. Biting down a scream, she collapsed onto her knees. "Ow...Ow ow ow ow..." She whimpered, her hands on the floor as she tried to recover her dignity and her strength. She turned her head back to glare at whoever had leaped at her. "Who the hell are you and why the hell did you just do that?!" 'Oh right. Japan.' This time in understandable, but fractured Japanese. "Who the hell are you and pleeeeaaaase tell me why you just did that!" '...What the fuck is she wearing?!' Edited by Tythanin, Apr 5 2010, 12:06 AM.

"SON OF A BITCH!" yelled the girl she was pouncing. Mitsuki really did not expect her to actually fall down on her knees, and she just kept holding on to the other girl. "Who the hell are you and why the hell did you just do that?!" the girl said while turning her head to actually glare at Mitsuki. And she said it in English too. Mitsuki's english is not exactly the best. Actually, its one of the worst in her class back in middle school. She knows some random words here and there thanks to super robot shows, but that's really it. "I amu Mitsuki! Its Karaoke! Let's go passion!" replied the girl to the best of her ability. The falling down of the other girl, and the shouting kinda have prevented her from being able to actually say a coherent sentence in another language. But then, the other girl quickly switched to Japanese. "Who the hell are you and pleeeeaaaase tell me why you just did that!" "Oh. Is that what you said just now? I figured it was something along those lines!" she replied with her mask still covering her face. Slowly taking it off, she then continued. "I'm Mitsuki Tsuwabuki, and this is my room. So I guess you're my roommate huh?" She then held out her hand to try and help the other girl up. "And sorry about that. You looked so defenseless I had to do that! It's a bad habit really!" "I'll say it's a bad habit..." Priscilla muttered in Japanese as she accepted Mitsuki's helping hand. As she got up to her feet, she realized that her attacker was short. Very short, at least compared to her. Kind of cute in a way, but her protesting back told her that it didn't want to have Mitsuki on it again for the rest of her life. "So you're my roommate? Nice to meet you. ...I suppose." She scowled and looked over the rest of the room, where she noticed that some of the girl's things had already been delivered. 'Wonder why I didn't see them earlier. Must've missed 'em.' "Anyway, I'm Priscilla Yamamoto. Transfer from the United States." She said, quickly taking Mitsuki's hand and shaking it. "No more leaping on stranger's backs, okay? Seriously, you...I mean, I could have seriously be hurt, you know. We might be young, but don't go around breaking people's backs. I need mine." She motioned to the mask that Mitsuki was holding. "I'm guessing by that whole getup there that you like uh...what was it? Cosplay? Kareoke too, apparently. ...Also sounded like you need help with your English too." |

The girl took her hand while muttering something, but Mitsuki wasn't really listening. She was a little concerned about the other girl, but more importantly, she's scouting for space for her model storage rack. She wasn't lost in thought for a while as the other girl interrupted her. "So you're my roommate? Nice to meet you. ...I suppose." the girl said with a scowl. Shaking Mitsuki's hand, the other girl continued. "Anyway, I'm Priscilla Yamamoto. Transfer from the United States." "Nice meeting you too Puris-Pupu-pureazu? Puripuri! Yeah, I'll call you that! Nice meeting you Puripuri-chan! You can call me Mitsuki if you want!" Mitsuki replied happily. That name was hard to pronounce, and Mitsuki wanted to be friends with her roommate, and a nickname is sure to help them get closer. "No more leaping on stranger's backs, okay? Seriously, you...I mean, I could have seriously be hurt, you know. We might be young, but don't go around breaking people's backs. I need mine." lectured the other girl. "Okay! I promise that I won't leap on people's backs anymore!" she said with an apologetic look on her face while scratching her head. Priscilla then motioned to the Gekiganger mask Mitsuki was holding on her other hand before asking her something. "I'm guessing by that whole getup there that you like uh...what was it? Cosplay? Kareoke too, apparently. ...Also sounded like you need help with your English too." "Actually, its not cosplay or karaoke! This mask is very important to me. You see... I got it from my grandfather when I was younger!" Mitsuki said while holding the mask tighter. "Oh, and don't worry about my english! Gaiking understands my burning heart perfectly, so I don't think I'll need that much help with that!" Slowly walking outside, she pointed towards the boxes that were placed near the door. "I could use some help with these though!" Edited by Basu, Apr 5 2010, 01:33 AM.

"P-..." Priscilla gawked at the other girl for a couple of moments, trying to wrap her head around that ridiculous nickname that Mitsuki thought she needed. "N-No. Don't call me that. Ever. I mean it. If Priscilla is too hard to say, call me...Shuurai. Yeah, I guess that'll work. ...Kind of." 'This girl operates on a totally different wavelength. This is going to be...interesting.' Priscilla thought to herself as Mitsuki explained where her mask came from as well as one of her...friends? Gaiking? Weird name for a friend...weirder that it would understand something like a burning heart or whatever. Stuff like that only happened in anime, after all. 'I guess I'll humor her, at least...' "Sure, whatever you say, kid." She sighed and walked over to where she saw boxes upon boxes of Mitsuki's things. "This stuff? Where do you want 'em?" She took one of the boxes, blinking when it turned out to be a lot lighter than she expected. Restraining the urge to shake the box like some giddy kid, she instead looked at Mitsuki and asked, "So...what's in these things? Can't be books or anything like that." "N-No. Don't call me that. Ever. I mean it. If Priscilla is too hard to say, call me...Shuurai. Yeah, I guess that'll work. ...Kind of." said Priscilla who looked shocked after hearing the nickname Mitsuki gave her. Placing her index finger on her mouth, Mitsuki gave the name a little thought. “Hmm… Shuurai, as in lightning bolt? Ooh! I know! I’ll call you Pringer! It’s the combination of Puripuri and Great Mazinger!” Right after saying that, she pointed towards the nearest window, and shouted. “THUNDER BREAAAAAAAAAK!” It doesn’t look like Priscilla particularly care about what Mitsuki is doing though, because she ended up lifting up one of Mitsuki’s box of things. "So...what's in these things? Can't be books or anything like that." “Oh, those? Those are my important figures. I’ve got the Robot Damashii Burnblade, a Soul of Chogokin Gekiganger-III and Gekiganger V, and some other things too!” replied the short girl happily while she walked over to the other box and lifted it up. “You can just put it over there! I’m gonna arrange them on my table in a bit!” chirped Mitsuki while motioning towards one of the tables in the room. Placing the box she was holding beside the table, she then opened her mouth again. “You said you were from America right? Are you a new first year student too?” Edited by Basu, Apr 5 2010, 12:48 PM.

"...Pringer." Priscilla said with a deadpan look as she hefted the box to check its weight. At least she was familiar with Great Mazinger. One of her hyper friends back at the US had really enjoyed super robot anime and could talk for hours on end about the stuff. Priscilla was never interested, but she knew what her friend considered the bare essentials as well as how to play some of their openings on her guitar. 'Some things never change. Wonder if the kid is going to make me play something too.' "Better than Puripuri." She muttered to herself as she dutifully helped carry the other boxes to where Mitsuki wanted them. "Yeesh, sounds like you have a lot. Don't you have better things to spend money on? Like, I dunno, clothes?" 'Ooooh, that was a lovely generic and dumb question. Clothes. Man, I barely spend money on my own clothes.' Priscilla mentally sighed before going back to her side of the room and fiddling with her things. "And no, I'm a second year student. I guess they just shoved me with you cause this is my first year being here in Hyakuji High." She reached for her guitar case, a smile coming to her lips as she touched the shining leather case. Her very own Gibson Les Paul Standard '08. She barely had a chance to play it, but every moment she did it felt like a brand new life was springing from her fingers. She almost reverently lifted it from its case and stood, hooking the strap over her shoulder and testing its weight. 'Perfect. It's like this guitar was made for me.' She grinned and plucked a few strings with the pick. Edited by Tythanin, Apr 6 2010, 01:57 AM.

"Yeesh, sounds like you have a lot. Don't you have better things to spend money on? Like, I dunno, clothes?" said Mitsuki's new roommate. Mitsuki didn't even have to think to answer that question. The answer was obvious. "Nope! I get my parents to buy me clothes so I can spend my allowance on other things!" replied Mitsuki happily. The girl was brimming with happiness, especially because Pringer didn't mind the new nickname. "And no, I'm a second year student. I guess they just shoved me with you cause this is my first year being here in Hyakuji High." continued her roommate who is now sitting down on her side of the room. It looks like she is about to take something out from what looks like a guitar case. Realising what is about to happen, Mitsuki quickly dashed beside Pringer and pointed towards the guitar. "You can play this really well right? Can you play Let's Go Gekiganger 3!? Or Shouri no V da! Gekiganger V!? Or both at the same time!?" exclaimed the short girl. With sparkles and glitters of happiness clearly shown in her eyes, Mitsuki is really excited about this! If her roommate can play those songs, then she will be the best roommate ever! If not then she will just have to teach her some songs! Well, less teach and more find musical sheets online so that Pringer can play those songs! |

"W-Whoa, hey!" Priscilla stammered, startled by how fast Mitsuki came over and sent a barrage of questions her way. "Look, I just got this guitar like...last week and I haven't had much time to play it. Just got it tuned before I left the US, actually, so this baby is brand new. Not sure if it'll feel any different from my old guitar, okay?" "Anyway...I do know that Gekiganger 3 song. My friend made me learn it. He was such a goof." She rolled her eyes. "No clue about the other song, though. I don't watch robot anime or anything of the sort. Not really my thing." She looked down at Mitsuki's happy expression and felt a small smile quirk up onto her lips. The girl's enthusiasm was contagious. 'Well, we are going to be roommates for a while. Can't hurt to humor her...she's friendly, at least. Too friendly, honestly. Aren't I supposed to meet some sort of cold tsundere next now or something?' "You want me to play Let's Go Gekiganger 3?" Priscilla offered. "Not sure I'll play it that well...it's been a while since I've played. But it should be fine...I doubt my fingers have forgotten where to go." |

Mitsuki wasn't really paying attention to Pringer when she said that the guitar is brand-new and what not, but her next sentence caught Mitsuki's complete attention. "Anyway...I do know that Gekiganger 3 song. My friend made me learn it. He was such a goof." The word excitement wasn't strong enough to convey what Mitsuki is feeling after hearing that. Having a roommate who can play her favourite super robot opening theme is enough to make Mitsuki to start jumping up and down around the room all day. And she would have done that, but then, Priscilla asked her something. "You want me to play Let's Go Gekiganger 3?" Hearing that, the fire that is already permanently burning in Mitsuki's heart burned up even hotter. The previously hot flame is now turned up to the maximum. No thermometer could possibly measure the temperature of the fire in her heart, because the fire in her heart has combined with Priscilla's fire that comes from her offering to play the song to create a flame. And when that flame is combined with Mitsuki's burning passion for this one song, she is invincible. "YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!" Quickly placing the mask to cover her face, Mitsuki then prepared her soul to sing along. Edited by Basu, Apr 6 2010, 12:22 PM.

"YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!" 'That much enthusiasm for a single song? Whew...maybe I shouldn't have asked. Holy crap.' Priscilla mused to herself as she saw Mitsuki placed that dumb mask over her face. She shook her head with a rueful smile on her face and began playing a few practice chords to get back into the rhythm of it. "Yeesh, to think my first song in Japan is going to be this..." Still, she had to admit that Let's Go Gekiganger 3! was a very catchy theme. It was the only reason she even decided to learn it in the first place...but she really wished she had the sheet music in front of her. Hopefully her memory was good enough. Her played the first notes and suddenly her fingers felt like they were moving by themselves. It was simply amazing the way the guitar seemed to respond to her every movement and a joyous smile grew on her face as she continued to play, her fingers running over the strings. This feeling...that was what she played for. Perfection. It was glorious. |

As Pringer started picking on that guitar of hers, Mitsuki started singing the song. This particular song is particularly important to her. Especially considering that she used to sing it together with her grandfather when she was younger. Even during her birthdays, her grandfather would sing that song instead of the typical happy birthday song. "Yume ga asu o yondeiru tamashii no sakebi sa LET'S GO PASSION! itsu no hi ka heiwa o torimodosei no te ni LET'S GO GEKIGANGER THREEEEEEEEEEEEE~" Shaking her head, and moving her body to the tune of the music. And she'd sing her loudest during the chorus. It was a fun song! Having a roommate who knows how to play this song in her guitar is just way too awesome. Mitsuki doesn't really know, or want to know how to play musical instruments, but singing super robot songs is another matter. Her grandfather taught her that singing these songs will ensure the constant burning of the flame in her heart, and Mitsuki liked that flame! "sora to umi to daichi to minna no PAWAA hitori ga minna no tame ni yuuki o dashite saa tachi agarouze! LET'S GEKIGAAAAAAAA IIIIIIN!" |

'Man, she has a loud voice. I guess if that so-called hot bloodedness was measured in how loudly you can sing, Mitsuki here would be like the most hot-blooded of them all. What does that make me? The goofy sidekick? I hope not.' Priscilla absentmindedly thought to herself as she continued to play. There was a slip up here and there as she forgot some of the notes of the song, but the overall tune continued to flow along perfectly and Priscilla finished the last couple of notes with a flourish, posing briefly before straightening and giving Mitsuki a small smile. "You like that? Not bad for a song I haven't played in a year." She grinned, feeling the warm feeling of a job well done begin to build in her heart. She gave herself a mental pat on the back and leaned against one of the walls. 'Hehe, I'm just that awesome.' "Still though...you can really sing. I hope we didn't disturb anyone...you were pretty loud there, Mitsuki." She said. "You shouldn't be that...passionate all the time. I don't want to get in trouble with the dorm mother or some weird hall monitor." |
