It had been a while since he had been in downtown Hyakuji. The young man walked down downtown carrying a rather large box with him. Not pumping into people was a rather difficult task in, and of itself. He had a souvenir with him from his other worldly trip. Well the souvenir was actually inside the box itself. Why does it way so much? The young man thought to himself, as he turned onto the block the shop he was going to was on. Stopping and looking around he found himself in front of a cafe`, and next to the cafe was what he was looking for. The Eldritch Influence book store, the sign read in front of the building. Opening the door a bell would ring indicating someone entering the shop. The young man placed the box gently down onto the counter. "Hey Hiro, special delivery!" The young man shouted figuring the man he was looking for was in the back room. The young man just stood there in his maroon colored tee shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. Looking over to the side of the room he could see a door leading into the cafe next door. Does Hiro own the cafe next door, or is it just a mutual business plan. The shop in itself hadn't changed much as it sill smelled like old books. Well it was a book store after all. The young man just chuckled to himself, as he picked up a candle. Man did this thing save my ass back in demon world. He was going to have and remember to thank Hiro for giving him the candle before he left. Now he just had to hope Hiro heard him come in. |

Hearing his name being called Hiro poked his head out from the back room and noticing the source of the call he smirked slightly as spoke, "Well, there's someone I've not seen in awhile." Laughing he emerged from the back room and began walking to the front of the store to greet his guest. Luckily Hiro had only been sorting some books in the back room rather than anything of particular danger like usual. Overall, it has been a quiet and simple day. At least so far; Hiro Tsukasa was never one to hedge bets well knowing the dangers of the city mixed with the unpredictable nature of the very things he kept in the back room. "So what brings you in?" Hiro laughed cheerfully as he took notice of the box he was carrying. He had said special delivery. Was it something for Hiro to identify? A relic with an unknown purpose or power? |

Loto couldn't help but smile at Hiro laughing. It was good to see people laugh especially when it came to Hyakuji. "Oh nothing special, just one of the souvenirs I brought back for you from my little trip. My parents said these bones were pretty rare, and held a great deal of mystical energy. When I told them about you they said you could probably put them to better use then they could. Don't worry they've all ready been purified, so you don't need to worry about any visitors." Loto patted the box allowing Hiro to know its contents. Loto didn't want to just come right out and say the bones had come from a powerful demon. After all most people in Hyakuji didn't know about demon world, and having been a high school student of Hyakuji. He knew if the students ever found out about it they want to explore it. "By the way what’s with the cafe next door? Last time I remember it was an empty building." He asked pointing his thumb over to the door between the shops. After all he had been gone for all most three years, and he still needed to be brought up on things happening around Hyakuji. |

"Bones huh?" Hiro asked with his interest suddenly piqued, "Was there any more info about them?" There was nothing Hiro enjoyed more than being given some new magical relic to delve into, discover its mysteries and then file away into the back room. "And uh, as for the cafe," Hiro continued picking back up on the question Loto asked, "That's Cafe Mahou. A Maid and Butler styled cafe that I opened not too long ago when the building next door went up for sale. Between the two places I almost offset all my pay docks from the school..." Hiro let his words trail off as he let out an exasperated sigh. Talking about money was never one of his favorite subjects. Hiro's eyes, however, remained locked on the box studying it carefully. It was true that the contents had a great deal of mystical energy. Reaching out with his mind he could feel the spiritual pressure resonating from the very box itself. What could be the significance however? |

So he does have something to do with that cafe next store. Loto was suddenly reminded of something else he had brought with him. Reaching into his jeans right pocket he pulled out a spherical object. The object looked solid with various markings on it. "Well they said it was probably a lord or the henchmen of a lord. I went back to the site where they killed it, and found this." Loto would toss the spherical object towards Hiro. Hopefully the man would catch it. "I don't know if it’s directly related to the bones, but my parents believe it’s some sort of dormant...well let’s just say they believe something is sleeping inside of it. You can consider it a thank you for helping me out on my little trip." Loto honestly had no clue what the spherical item was, and had even fewer clues if the markings on it meant anything. He was honestly hoping that Hiro would be able to sort everything out. "How have things been in Hyakuji, since I left on my trip?" Loto asked while looking at the back of some random tarot card box. |

Hiro caught the spherical orb fumbling just slightly as he never seemed quite on par with things unless it was combat and then inspected it slowly. The second it touched his hands he seemed to feel a surge of energy, almost as if it was resonating with his own for some reason, but then it vanished. "I see," Hiro answered cheerfully, "Well I'll play around with these and see what I can figure out later after the store closes up for the night. I haven't had anything new to investigate for awhile so thanks. And I assume you mean those candles helped out in the Demon Realm?" Setting the orb down gently so it rested against the edge of the box to prevent it from rolling around Hiro continued answering the other question Loto had, "As for here... things have been crazy as usual. But as you can see we're all still here and at least for right now things are pretty calm. I'd say you came back at a good time." |

"Yeah those candles came in pretty handy. It’s not fun when something that uses fire is trying to eat you. A bit of advice when in the demon realm fighting fire with fire does not work. It’s not like I was worried about you guys or anything. Hyakuji has some pretty tough individuals especially when it comes to the ninja guild, elemancers, and well yourself Hiro. I was just wondering if there should be anything I needed to watch out for. Seeing as you say everything is nice and calm. I guess I really don't have to worry about kicking something ass." Loto placed the box of tarot cards back down, as he made eye contact with Hiro again. "Speaking of the elemancers I see they rebuilt the tower. Do you know whats been going on over there? Oh and is there any one new in town I should be aware of?" Loto asked with a general tone of curiosity in his voice. It had been a while since he had been to the tower and a heads up on who was who would be nice. Especially since he didn't know who was still around and who wasn't. |

"Let's see," Hiro said as he began to think for a moment. His hand instinctively returned to the orb Loto had handed over rolling it about on the desk in a contemplative manner as if it was helping him think. Again, he felt a jolt of spiritual energy as if the Orb was calling out to him but the point was still unclear. "I know the Tower was recently renovated," Hiro continued, "However I'm not sure who is over it now. You'd have to just go inquire inside I guess. I never frequented the place very much as you know." Laughing a little Hiro removed his hand from the Orb once more as it glowed a dim light which he happened to not notice. "What about you? What do you plan to do now that you're finally back from training?" He asked in a curious tone. He had been years, literally, since he'd seen Loto. It was both impressive and a little surprising to think he actually finished the training he'd set out to undergo. |

"Yeah you seem to avoid that place like it had the plague, or something." Loto had closed his eyes to contemplate what Hiro had said so far. He was going to have and stop by the tower at some point then, if not just to get an idea of what was going on there. Hearing Hiro's next question he opened his eyes to look at the man again. "Well I'm currently renting an apartment in suburban Hyakuji, and I use to run a food cart as a part time job after school. I'll probably run my food cart full time now that I don't have anything better to do. You know with not having to deal with the High School and all." Loto had remembered some of the things the high school had put him through. It was good he didn't have to deal with gym any more. In his mind he would rather face the seven, than attend another one of the high school’s gym classes. "It just seems like I have more time on my hands then what I know what to do with. I guess I'm just bored after being in the demon world for so long." Loto gave out a small chuckle at the thought of actually having nothing to do. |

"Well," Hiro laughed at Loto's last comment, "Knowing Hyakuji, I'm sure it won't be long before something interesting turns up. I mean all it really takes is just one random thing to set off a whole chain of chaotic events. I mean even these bones or this Orb could be some new crazy situation." He spoke jokingly and as he mentioned the bones patted the box and upon mentioning the Orb grasped for it holding it up again between them. It was quite true, however. Just awhile ago it had been Hiro unearthing the Millennium Ring in Egypt that unleashed the terror of Bakura and his lord Zorc. And hadn't the Crystal Skull in Hyakuji's Museum been one of the factors that drew the Lich to infiltrate the school? However, there was a great deal of irony in what Hiro Tsukasa had just said. Not implied, but rather in truth as suddenly the Orb began to glow a bright crimson red as it pulsed supernatural energy; bolts of power crackling out from it. Hiro's eyes widened in surprise realizing the resonations he felt earlier were in fact from something being sealed inside the Orb. Bright light exploded forth blinding Loto and Hiro for a moment and as their vision returned a woman stood atop the front counter holding her hands on her hips triumphantly. ![]() "HA-HA-HA~ I am the Snow Queen, Yuki-Onna~" the woman spoke in energetic and cheerful voice that was entirely ill-fitting were she a true Yuki-Onna. Hiro seemed to study her for a moment then glance around the rest of the store slowly. Yuki-Onna were a type of Japanese ghost or demon and Hiro had encountered some of them before; this certainly wasn't one. Loto had said the Orb was from the Demon Realm so the chances whatever it was being a demon was likely, but not a Yuki-Onna. "You can't be," Hiro began slowly, "Your skin isn't perfectly pale like snow... they usually wear traditional kimono's.... the walls and windows of the store aren't frozen over... actually the room doesn't feel any cooler at all..." Child-like frustration was growing across her face as Hiro chipped away at the claim point by point proving without a shadow of a doubt she couldn't be what she claimed. "But Yuki made this costume all by herself," the woman exclaimed in anger, "And it puns off my name," quickly she pointed from Loto to Hiro and then crossed her arms slowly, "You Mortals should respect Yuki's humor..." |

Loto was half blinded for a few seconds, before his vision came back to see the orb was gone. In its place was a young looking woman claiming to be a Yuki-Onna. Hiro then began to an explanation of why the woman wasn't one, as the woman's frustration built. Loto gave Hiro a look that said what did you do now? Loto placed his palm on his forehead for a brief moment. Its probably best that we don't get her upset. Who knows what she is capable of doing. Only something like this would happen in Hyakuji. He thought while looking the woman up, and down for a bit. "You'll have to forgive us you caught us off guard with your grand entrance. Your costume is very nice it brings out your energy and cuteness. Now Ms.Yuki, why don't you explain to us why you were cramped up in such a tiny sphere?" Hopefully by getting her to tell them about the sphere she had popped out of. They would maybe be able to figure what type of demon she was, and what her connection to the bones was. That was if there was a connection to begin with. |

"Silence Mortal!" Yuki's voice squeaked as she shouted cheerfully in reply to Loto's request. Huffing in fake anger the girl scrambled down from the counter beside Hiro inspecting him as if looking over something one was about to purchase. "I am Yuki Unsere," she announced triumphantly, "Expert Maid and self-professed Cosplayer! My family served the Scarlet Clan of demons until they were attacked. I was sealed in this Orb to remain hidden from the attackers. Then you found my Orb and I was released upon Hiro's touch due to his supernatural energy." "And as such," She crossed her arms slowly narrowing her eyes to fake-glare in anger at Hiro, "In recognition of your magic, which exceeds even some demons, I am now your Servant." "Hum," Hiro began as he let out a sigh of relief. It was a bit of a troubling situation, but on the other hand it could be a lot worse. It wasn't a new threat. It wasn't bad. She was at least cute. "Well... this is an interesting gift, Loto," Hiro continued, "And I suppose I can't just opt out?" He asked turning back to Yuki. "Nope," she answered cheerfully and succinctly. |

Loto eye twitched a bit when he was told to be silent. Its hard to tell if she is upset with that kind of attitude. Well at least the worst thing she can do is probably make a bad cup of coffee. She had also mentioned an attack and the Scarlet clan of demons. At least it gave Hiro a starting point of that box of bones. "Well for all I knew, it could have been some demon that would have eaten your soul. Then again I'm actually glad it turned out to be something like Ms. Unsere here." Loto looked at the side door then back at Yuki, and then Hiro. He repeated this action again as if thinking of something. "You know Hiro, since she is a maid why not have her work in the cafe? It will at least give her something to do. I just hope you got a place for her to sleep. I doubt it look good if you were caught sleeping with one of your employees." Loto wasn't sure if Yuki could return to her dormant state, so just encase it was better to make sure Hiro had room for house guest. Then again with a bundle of energy like Yuki around, Hiro was bound to get involved into some sort of mischief. |

"Yuki will stay where her Master stays!" Yuki exclaimed happily as she suddenly hugged Hiro squeezing him as tight as possible and forcing him to choke and pat at her back to be let free. Gasping for air he hunched over the front counter desperately trying to breath once more. "Good idea, Loto," Hiro spoke between gasps, "Passing her off as a Cafe Mahou employee would work and not raise much suspicion." Regaining his composure Hiro stood back up straight and looked to Yuki with a worried glance. Scarlet Clan? Hiro had heard of them before and this was never a good thing. It was fine for now, but what if they sent someone for her? "I guess that means these bones belong to one of the Scarlet Clan demons then," Hiro said as he tapped his fingers on top of the box still resting on the front counter, "I'll probably try to purify them later just to be safe and make sure they don't give anyone trouble. Heh, you must've had some rough times in the Demon Realm, Loto, if demons were about that are so infamous even I recognize the names." |

Loto didn't like the look Hiro had given to Yuki. "Hiro what’s up you look a bit concerned?" The catching what Hiro said it was sort of obvious of what Hiro might be thinking. I see he might be worried about someone from the scarlet clan, or then again he could just be worried Yuki might kill him with one of those hugs. Loto closed his eyes when Hiro mentioned the word demon realm, as if trying to remember something. "Well yeah you could say that after all I was nearly eating all most every day. That was just the T-Rex sized demons. The mortal sized ones just wanted me dead for being mortal. There was that entire fight I had with the Zodiac demon Ox. You do not want to lose a fight with a demon that wants to devour your soul, as you can tell by me standing here I won. Though it did kick me around a lot to the point I was laid up for a year." Loto rubbed his temple as he went into a deeper kind of thought. "Actually there is another reason I came here today, besides to drop off gifts. There has been something I've wanted to ask you. It involves my parents, but first I want to hear more about this Scarlet clan from Ms. Unsere. That is if she is willing to tell us about them." He wanted more information on the Scarlet clan; if they were as infamous as Hiro said they were it could mean general trouble for Hyakuji. |
