The Celestial you were born to love![]() What is the name everyone calls her? Celestial Lewis How did God create her?: A Female Does she have any other names?: Candy Diamond She’s graced the earth for how long?: 19 years How much does she weigh? (shh we wont tell): 135 lbs. How high does she stand?: 5'9" How will I recognize her beauty?: ![]() What does she spend her time doing?: Eldritch Influence Employee Is she in school? What is she?: college junior and substitute teacher at the high school Is she smart? Athletic? I need to know: Intellectual What class does she look forward to?: Art What class does she dread?: Gym What makes this beauty so special? Does she have a special ability?: She wields a Broom like a magical staff, and is faster and stronger when Maid Celly-Chan. Her ultimate attack is Shining Heart Cleanser which she strikes a pose and the shouts the title aloud and then waves her Magical Broom to send a purifying beam of holy light that cleanses enemies or greatly injures evil/dark individuals. She can do various other, smaller attacks to impure people but they don't have a 100 percent chance of working all the time. If she stays in maid form for too long she eventually passes out and automatically turns back into her normal self. Other attacks Beauty Embrace When striking a pose and the title is shouted aloud it gives a pure hearted person a boost of energy and damages an evil hearted person. Celestial has somewhat of a unique (and probably cliché) ability. She can read minds, simply put. She does have the ability to turn this ‘power’ on and off, if not she’d be getting flooded with everyone’s thoughts. She has learned to control this ability quite well. Evil Side take 1 Evil Side take 2 Due to forces beyond her control she also has an ‘evil’ side per say. She only takes over Celestial’s body when Celestial is threatened, or is overwhelmed with emotions, and this is also semi-controlled, or so Celestial hopes. The girl looks completely different from Celestial herself and has a better mind reading ability. She’s able to use it at long distances by using a very unique method; butterflies. She is able to find out specific information from these winged creatures about anything she wishes. What are her dearest possessions?: a purse with everything a girl needs in it, her sketchbook she carries around everywhere, a heart necklace, unknown of where she got it, a cellular device used to telecommunicate with other life beings (or a cell phone to talk to friends and family), four rings two on each hand, a silver bracelet. Where will she retire at the end of the day?: A small apartment near Hyakuji high and downtown We want to know more about the girl behind those pretty eyes Is her personality beautiful too?: From her power Celestial has a split personality. She can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Her good side is the one in control most often, only switching if she feels threatened. Her good side is a fun loving girl who loves to dance and draw. She’s an optimist who tries to see the good in everyone, which gets her in trouble when she’s trying to find the good in people that don’t believe they have any. If she was seen on the street she will most likely be with a guy, making friends with guys seemingly much easier than with girls because her personality is fit for a guy. She is innocent in the fact that she doesn’t realize when she’s flirting or when someone is flirting with her. Her bad side is completely different. Sometimes mistaken for an angsty or misunderstood teen, she looks at the world with a half empty way of thinking. She is disappointed with nearly everyone, and is pessimistic. She is harshly brute and sarcastic, not caring who she hurts with her words or actions. She is always looking out for Celestial and her own self. She had one weakness, something that could break her if anyone found out, but she was locked tight. Does she have a set schedule?: No, but she works at the bookstore a lot when she isn't substituting classes or at class herself Does she have a dark history? Tell us about her past..: Celestial was your average girl, or so it would seem. She hid her intelligence, afraid that people couldn't accept her for who she was. She loved school, even with her lack of friends, and moving constantly. She wrote poetry and stories all the time, it was one of her favorite pass times. But her favorite was her art work. She constantly carries a sketch book around, always looking for something to draw, to expand her horizons, to get better at what she loved. She wanted to be an artist one day, but the chances of that were slim. Bringing us to her family. She wasn't born into the perfect family, quite the opposite in her opinion. Her father, was the leader of a mob industry. It wasn't the best choice in careers but he got by. Their work was focused on selling illegal, and some of the most powerful and expensive drugs, all around the world. He was constantly traveling, which gave him the idea to tell his young children he was a travel agent. Although they found out long before he told them what his real job was. Celestial's mother was Irish and a devoted Catholic. How she got involved with her father was beyond even her comprehension. But they were in love, he had to love her a lot to marry an Irish woman over an Italian. She gave him two beautiful girls, Celestial and Emi. Emi was older than Celestial by about 4 years. She ran a business that was more so run by mob children than anything else. She was the president of the company, and wealthy at that. When it came to Celestial's love life before coming to Hyakuji, it was pretty much non existent. She seemed to intimidate people, for reasons she didn't even know. She was herself, and maybe that in itself would intimidate them. Whenever she found a boy crushing for her, she was forced to move, whether it be to a new school or a whole new country. They were always on the move. Although with her fathers line of work they had to be. After living in Hyakuji she found love, and was in love, but was still single. After falling for Sousuke, deeply in love, he had left, like most men in her life. He came back and they tried to keep the relationship going, but it wasn’t working. She missed him sometimes, and was still in love with him, but hadn’t seen him long enough to tell him. Another person she seemed to pine over was Sephiroth. He was completely opposite of who she was and any guy she’d thought of dating, but there was something about him. Something she couldn’t explain. She didn’t know how she went from having no love life at all to being with one and loving another. Her love life was complicated. But after a long and complicated love life she had found the person of her dreams. Of course people always said the person of your dreams is usually right in front of your face, well he was. They were friends in Hyakuji but she never really thought of him like that. Then she left Hyakuji for a few months to explore the country, and when she came back her outlook was changed. She ran into Nickle the first day and they have been dating ever since. Then one quiet night he proposed to her. She was so in love with him, she couldn't say no to him. She said yes and their wedding was starting, slowly, to get planned. Her time at Hyakuji High went by fast. She soon became a senior and graduated. Although her original plans to move back to her hometown to go to college, she decided against it after meeting so many influential people in Hyakuji. Her favorite teacher, Hiro, had even offered her a job at his newly opened bookshop. She took the job and went to Hyakuji College part time when she wasn’t working or enjoying life. She still loved hanging around friends from Hyakuji High, and even making new friends from the high school even though she was older than them. After finishing college she went around the world looking for a job to teach art, but finally decided to stay where she loved. She came back to Hyakuji and accepted a substitute job that paid more than any normal teacher back in the states. She loved working with the gifted people of Hyakuji and learning about the different things that were possible that she never even imagined. There were a number of assassination attempts on her life, even as a young girl. She watched her best friend, unwillingly take a bullet for her (He didn't know it was coming). That made her emotions even more fragile, and even to this day it haunts her. That bullet was meant for her. The people that were after her father seemed to think that if they got to his youngest daughter they'd get what they wanted. And for the most part, that was true. Even at Hyakuji they had found her, but her father paid the ransom to get her free. Why he didn't take her out of the school after that she doesn't know. But nothing that bad has happened since. The girl behind the character Can you even Roleplay? Show me: "You're going to this school whether you want to or not!" A woman yelled, as her child sat and protested, her voice as loud as the woman’s. "I refuse! First you make me move here! And now you make me go to a school for the 'gifted'?! It sounds like a school for retards!!" She yelled at her mother, not paying attention to anything else but her opinion. The girl was Celestial, her mother Emi. They were fighting for the fifth day about Celestial going to this new school. The school was Shin Hyakuji High School, the school for the gifted they said. What they didn't know that basically everyone that went to that school had some kind of power. Some could control the dead; others could even control the elements. It was no normal school but the brochure had insured an educational time. As she boarded the train to Shin Hyakuji High she gave her mom one last glare while mumbling under her breath "I knew they'd ship me off." Her father actually made the conductor stop the train as the engine started to roar. He pulled Celestial out of the train, practically throwing her against the wall. "You don't give your mother that look you hear me! We're sending you away because after all these years you still have done nothing to benefit this family! Look at your sister! She's going to be a wealthy girl one day! What do you have to show for yourself?!" He screamed at her, not caring who heard. "Yea because my sister can steal ideas from people and use them to her own benefit, that’s REALLY making something of herself. I'm doing well in school, getting average grades. I was even working on getting a job! Just because I don't kiss your ass all the time doesn't mean I'm not trying! I don't want to benefit this family! I want to be my own person and make money for myself! Not your stupid company! Or so you say it's a company! Should I tell everyone on thi-" She said quickly being cut off by a backhand across the face. "Shut up Celestial! Go now! Go and make something of yourself! And don't come back until you do! We'll give you money, whatever you need. But I don't want to see you again if you haven't done anything good with your time!" Her father yelled one last time before shoving her back towards the train, quickly walking away. He didn't wait to see if she had gotten on safely, he simply took her mother and walked towards the exit. Celestial fell back in the train, a random person helping her up as the train roared its engine, speeding off into the night. She sat in the only available seat away from everyone, avoiding meeting anyone in fear of them wanting to get too close to her. So she sat there, watching all the people heading in the same direction as her, wondering if they were all heading for the same place. She watched them converse, some meeting for the first time, others lifelong friends. She wished she had that. The last time she had a real friend was in 6th grade, and even that got screwed up when she was forced to move for the third time in two years. Yes she hadn't known Rob that long but even now, years later they still talked on the phone at times. She didn't think of him as a boyfriend, she thought of him more as a brother. He felt the same for her. Now, five years later he had finally admitted to having a crush on her in 6th grade. It didn't damper their relationship one bit, but she always came to Rob with her guy problems, he always knew what to say. She had little time to tell him about her going to this new High School, he had been busy with his own schooling so they weren't talking much on the phone. She figured when she got there she'd get money from her parents and get a cell phone so she could call him more. Her parents had even offered to get her a cell phone just to make things easier on them. But with her stubborn personality she still refused, not wanting to start over at a new school again. Yet here she was, on a train heading to some far away place. She sat in the seat, drifting off to sleep. As the world faded the dream began. It was Celestial when she was a little girl, when she had first found out that her dad wasn't a travel agent. She was in the backyard, playing with her sister when she heard her father. She hadn't seen him in days because he went on "a business trip" as her mother called it. She followed the sound of his voice with her sister, finding her dad a few houses over in the neighbor’s yard. They snuck in the back, hiding behind a gate that separated their yard from everyone else’s. As Celestial and her sister, Abby peered through the thin empty spaces between the fence they couldn't believe their eyes. For one, there was a whole bunch of what looked like foreigners sitting at a table. In the middle of the table was a suitcase filled with money, along with a pound of cocaine and different types of drugs. Even though they were both still very young they knew what drugs were and knew they were bad. Why was their father involved in something like this? To this day Celestial and Abby have never told their father what they saw. He eventually told them what he did for a living when they were old enough to understand. They still couldn't believe their father was a part of something as intense as the mafia. Her mother had almost divorced her father a number of times due to the mafia getting in the way. Her father was pure Italian whereas her mother was mostly Irish mixed with German, native American, and a few other things. Her father, Brando's family had never really accepted Emi as a part of their family. It was pure Italian before Brando decided to choose love over family. Although now her mother was okay with Brando's tie in the mafia, a rather large tie at that, Celestial could never accept it. She also couldn't accept that her sister was also working in a company made of mafia children. She hated that part of her life and hoped no one would ask her about it. Celestial was always a bright student. She was always the smartest in her class. And because of her moving constantly she was always looked at as the nerd or geek. She did wear glasses, and her skirt and dress shirt always made her the laughing stock of the school. But she did meet a few friends, not many she still kept in touch with, but she was happy with the memories she had of them. Another thing that separated her from the rest of her peers was she never really had a boyfriend. Yes she had met guys and they suggested things to her, even asked her out a few times, but she seemed to show no interest. She knew she'd have to move again soon so why bother? And like every teenage girl, she had crushes, mostly on teachers. She liked intelligence rather than trend, and there were very little students that had the kind of intelligence she was looking for. So she had crushes on her teachers, the smartest people she knew. And not all of them were crushes, some turned into more. She didn't like to talk about her experience with her one teacher last year, not because she was hurt by it, or even embarrassed. She just thought people wouldn't understand. Celestial woke up as the tires of the train screeched against the tracks, coming to a sudden halt. She was there, despite the three hour train ride. She got up, stretching and yawning before departing the train, walking directly over to the map of the city. Yes she had one but it was buried in one of her three suitcases. Celestial walked around, trying to find her new high school. It was located a few blocks from the local plaza. She smiled as the branches on trees blew in the wind, the sweet summer air making her forget about everything that happened as she was getting on the train, although she had quite a few bruises from being thrown against the wall. How about them mashed potatoes?: The proof is in the pudding ![]() Edited by Kayui, Feb 8 2009, 01:48 AM.
