The Black Reaper
Duo took the intense winds better than most of the others who had been hit by the sudden counter. Before he was blown away much further, the powerful boosters in his suit kicked in to stop him from getting blown away more than a few yards away from his target. "Well that's certainly an annoying ability." He muttered irritably. "But it'll take more than a little breeze to slow me down." He prepared to go in for another swipe at the Organization member, but stopped as one of his allies brought up the plan of wishing. Wishing? He thought about it briefly, and it began making more sense as he thought. They didn't have many other options at the moment, so it was more than worth a try.

Focusing, Duo stored his scythe and drew forth his keyblades, Death's Fang and Death's Judgement he had called them. As he hovered over the mass of Heartless and their leader, he raised the weapons and pointed them both at the door straight in front of him, and made his wish. "I wish I could stop all this killing, and protect all the people I have met here. wish that all of us could have back what we lost, regain the things we thought gone forever, I wish to go to where the enemy is so I can make that happen. Now, open, open to that world you damn door!" Duo yelled out the end of his wish, focusing all he had on that desire.
__________________________________________________________

Ganta continued to hack his way through more and more of the endless tide of black forms, dodging attacks and striking back with his burning keyblades. The Heartless started to surround him, trying to get behind him while he focused on the other creatures coming after him. With a metallic hum and a clang, he drove his blades into the ground, bursts of flame shooting out of the ground around him, driving the horde back for a moment so that he could leap back over them to the relative safety amid his comrades.

"Wishe's, huh? I'm up for anything at this point." He held out his keyblades, flames still dancing along their lengths as he began to make his wish. "I wish to go back to my home, to my family and friends, to my own world where I belong. I wish I could go to the place these guys are hiding. I wish I could go there so I can defeat them and finally go home." He poured all he could into that wish, the flames around his weapons growing hotter and purer till they were white, and shining like the sun.

The Wolf
Kazuma stood surrounded by disintegrating black corpses of all shapes and sizes, holding the combined Keyblade Snow Flame in his hands. He had heard what Nickle had said, and for some reason felt an inexplicable sense of rightness in the statement. The Heartless who had retreated momentarily began rushing forward again, and as they came, Kazuma took out two scrolls and flooded them with magic. Without warning two blue magic circles appeared, covering an area of almost fifty feet. At once snow appeared over the entire area of the circles and one vanished. The other began to rotate and contract till it was fifteen feet wide, creating a tornado of razor sharp snowflakes ten feet thick with a five foot area in the center where Kazuma was. With his barrier in place, Kazuma held Snow Flame in front of him in the direction that he knew the gate and Nobody to be, and focused with all his might on what he wished for most. I wish to return to the place I consider home. To do that, I need to defeat the Nobodies, and to do that I need to get to the World That Never Was. Therefore, my wish is to go to the
World That Never Was.
At this, a bright white beam of light shot from his Keyblade, pierced the barrier, and connected with the gate.

Koori arrived on the scene in his CREED in the middle of Nickle's speech, and was completely unconvinced. Instead, he be began attacking the Heartless with Light infused bullets shot from a pair of automatic guns sized for his CREED. This, however, had little effect on the massive numbers of Heartless. After a while Wolf stepped in, appearing sitting on his shoulder as usual, "Koori, that's not working. Maybe you should try what that man suggested."

Koori stopped shooting and looked at her, "I guess so, after all looks like it might work better than I thought," he said, looking at the screens in the cockpit where beams of light were starting to converge on the gate below. "Well then let's see here. First I need one of those Keyblades. He closed his eyes and focused on forming a blade from his soul, and in the hands of the CREED formed a Keyblade. "Well, that wasn't too hard. Now then, 'I wish to go to the World That Never Was.' he said, pointing the Keyblade at the gate. Nothing happened.

"I think it needs to be something you wish for from the bottom of your heart," Wolf said.

Koori's face grew serious and he looked at Wolf, "In that case, 'I wish to return my childhood friend Sakura, who's mind was used to create the AI "Wolf", to a physical body. To do this, there needs to be peace. And so, I wish to go to the World That Never Was and defeat the Nobodies.'" At his words Wolf blushed, but looked pleased, as a beam of light shot from the Keyblade and connected with the gate.

"A wish huh? How strange." Zexus Ritter said as he calmly walked through a horde of Heartless, knocking away any that approached him. He felt strange. Not full of rage and hatred this time, rather he felt...Sadness. Deep in his heart. Something had changed in Zexus...No. Something was changing in Haru, and he was feeling emotions he thought were long lost. Sadness for the worlds lost, empathy for the lives lost, and hope that people wouldn't lose anything after this.

Not like what he had lost.

"I know damn well what I want to wish for..." Zexus muttered as he drew his guns. They began to charge with energy as he walked. "Sadness, despair, falling into an abyss and losing my soul..." Zexus pulled the trigger, firing out an image of Zexus Nacht that solidified. Both extended their arms, forming a pair of twin Keyblades in their hands.

"You who disturb our worlds, we wish you to disappear! NOW OPEN THAT DAMNED GATE SO WE CAN GRANT OUR WISH!"

Unfortunately, both Taiga and Ayane were not experienced with the use of the Keyblade. Taiga's had only appeared entirely by accident a mere day ago, whereas Ayane was more than often on the receiving end of a Keyblade User than actually being one herself. Taiga saw it as being a weapon that had a strange effectiveness against Heartless. Ayane saw it as being a key that would unlock the death of whoever was responsible for creating this horribly twisted world in the first place.

Wish?

They weren't fond of such half-hearted things. Wishing for something didn't make it happen. Effort, hard work, violence... things like that were what actually moved the world forward. So while Taiga did, deep inside, wish to return to her world... and while Ayane did, deep inside, wish to be back in Hyakuji before any of this happened... neither one of them brought those wishes to the forefront. Instead they both focused on the here and now, tearing through the Heartless horde without so much as a word.

Leave the fanciful wishes to the other heroes. These two were warriors, unable to trust relying upon something as silly as a wish to actually accomplish their goal.

After all, neither one of them knew the true power of the Keyblade.

Aisia, Liz, and Nayuki now heard everything.

It was strange when the Nobody attacked and then just left like that. Weren't the damn bastards supposed to be good at manipulating dark corridors and exiting from there?

If so, why did this one go through the trouble of leading them here?

Otoha thought that it was similar to how Xaturoh didn't seem to know how to use hers, but this was too convenient. Even Nayuki realized this, but was all the more intent on following him, because she knew everyone else would.
The reason behind it was now made much clearer when he egged them on and Otoha was able to read the subtlety between the lines. It also didn't seem to make much sense either, because if she was right, the Nobody really seemed to want to betray his leader Xenmas if he were leading them towards their world.

"... It's a trap," Otoha said finally after hearing his taunt from above the skies in the Denliner.
"Even so, if he's really leading us there to their world, wasn't that what this Hiro person wanted to do in the first place? Strike at the very Heart of the Matter?" Nayuki asked.
Aisia facepalmed. "That... was a terrible pun, Nayuki-san."
"Eh? What pun?" Nayuki asked, but Liz waved them off. "We don't have much time. Whatever it is we should do, it should be to help them down there! They're getting swarmed by Heartless!"

With that, the DenLiner opened its weapon compartments and started launching weapons at nearby Heartless around the general perimeter of the group in an effort to keep them at bay. Meanwhile, all three Riders leapt from the train to join in on the battle, all of them transforming and unleashing their keyblades as they did!

A wish, huh?... Heh.
What's up, Otoha?
I dunno. A wish kind of feels retarded if you don't work for it, doesn't it?
Don't you have one though?
Just one.

She thought back on Hajime and Hotaru briefly in her mind.

To bring everything back to its proper balance.
Ehhh... for a person of chaos, you have some pretty strange priorities.
Hey, the more pure an innocent a thing is, the more fun it is to corrupt! You can't improve any more on shit, after all!
... I hate you sometimes.

"Nee, Kivat-kun. Do you think we'll be able to go home after this?" Nayuki asked.
"You already asked that earlier!" Kivat yelled.
"I'm serious this time. Would this Kingdom Hearts that Hiro spoke of have any way of bringing the worlds back?"
"..." Kivat said nothing for a while.
"Nayuki-san, let me tell you something about wishes," Aisia said. "Wishes... are useless by themselves. They need to be accompanied by a strong heart that desires that wish."

Aisia then approached the growing mob of Heartless and pointed both of her Keyblades at them.
"That's why I'm going to move towards my wish with my own hands... my wish to see all the worlds restored to normal!"
Behind the Kiva mask, Nayuki smiled. "Mhmm. I guess you're right. I want to see the same thing come to pass too!..."
"<Hey, Ladies, you can stop mucking around now and actually get to the asskicking part,>" OtoLiz said. "<From start to finish, let's do this at a climax!>"

With that, all three riders ran towards Oxito with keyblades out and ready to attack, slashing and hacking their way through the Heartless mob as they did!...

Katerine arrived after the Den-Liner. Side Bashaar this time, though, was left in a side alley. Away from the fighting and in the border to the second district. What she had though was her Blaygun, and she seemed pretty adept at using it now, parrying attacks with the blade before kicking and shooting. But soon she'd be overwhelmed. Facing off against a rather large heartless, she holstered the gun as it charged.

Seconds later, she tore through the heartless and those behind him, slashing away with two blaygun-looking keyblades. Wish? She wished she was back to where things made sense, even if irrational. She had a purpose. Kick ass, the wish can come afterwards.

Yosuke

[THUNDER]

Rather than rouzing the card inside the Blay Rouzer, Kazuna had sent it through the Blue Spader's, which was separate from her actual AP Cache. Still, the image of the Thunder Deer projected itself and imbued it's powers unto the bike...creating a barrier of electricity around the vehicle. What Kazuna intended to do with the Thunder powered bike was obvious...

She'd ride it right through the Heartless swarm, ramming and shocking whatever poor darkness spawn got in her way. Regardless she arrived just in time as the way to the Nobodies homeworld had been figured out. If all it took was a wish...then very well! The bike came to a halt and Kazuna merely hopped off, drawing the Blay Rouzer in one hand and summoning her Spade themed Keyblade in the other...

Her wish was to bring a smile back to everyone, and if it meant cleaving every Heartless and Nobody that got in her way...?

So be it.

"What horrible musics to dance to." Zhimeng complained, "and people complained when I played the Violin, oh well"
Due to the fact that she had put on ear plugs as she is using a gun, the sound was horrible, but it didn't do much harm to her.
However, the shockwaves did managed to blast her a few steps back, but as her martial artist, she stomped down her legs onto the floor with a rather stable horse riding stance and balanced herself.

"That was rather powerful," she commented on the wind, then she heard the instruction, "So we have make a wish to these things to open up the doorway to the enemy HQ?" she said, looking at her two key blade while kicking away a few Shadows. "Oh well… so bet it."

"I plead, with all my heart," She speaks as she points Sky Flare at the gate while swinging Blazing Heaven to fight off Shadows, "I wish that the Great Tao will prevail and the world becomes democratic. Let the virtuous and capable be leaders; and let trust be promoted and goodwill be cultivate. All shalt loves and respects his or her own parents and children, as well as the parents and children of others. So that the old shalt be cared for and protected till they leave; the able-bodied shalt have work and the youth shalt be nourished and educated. And therefore the widows, widowers, orphans, the childless, the loners, the disabled and the sick be cared and provide for."

She stopped a while to kick a few Shadows, and continued, "I plead that every man and woman can find their role in the family and society, and all shalt be sorrowful to see natural resources and wealth wasted on the land, yet it need not be kept for oneself, all shalt be sorrowful for not creating wealth with one's own labor, yet it needs not benefits oneself. And so conspiracies shalt not thrive and robberies, thefts and criminal activities shat cease. So that doors needs not be locked during day and night. This is called 'The Great Unity'. With this, I plead.'" As she completes her wishes, Zhimeng fused the flames of Blazing Heaven with Sky Flare, and pointed it towards the gate, like what a few others are doing. "Let the world see Love, Light and Hope!"

LOLWUT?

That was Jen's initial reaction when Star relayed to her what Lavender had passed down to her fellow Arcadians - that the Keyblade and one's wishes will open the way to a world that doesn't exist, which is supposedly where the Nobodies call their home base? How could she possibly accept that? It didn't make sense to her at all! At best, it sounded like one of those paradoxes and riddles from Zen teachings. Unfortunately for Jen, while she excelled in technical subjects, theology was one subject she acknowledged that she was a total failure in. Just what was Lavender thinking? Already Jen could feel her respect towards the leader of Arcadia going downhill.

"Whoa Star, steady there..." Jen replied, a growing tone of sarcasm in her voice. "Like I'm going to just say 'open sesame' and a door to the Nobodies' world will appear or something?" The purple-haired girl wished that she knew where the Nobodies came from, but she wasn't about to acknowledge something as ridiculous as merely wishing her way there. She wasn't about to accept that, not in a million years!

Jen paused momentarily to retrieve her crowbar - Gordon Freeman's crowbar; what with the lambda symbol and 'Property of G. Freeman' engraved on its handle' - to cave in the head of a Shadow who got too close. Such was the unusual case that is Jennifer Chase, a girl who straddles the gap between cynicism and naivety. A girl of science and logic who demands reason and facts, yet at the same time a hopeless romantic and daydream believer. After all, it wasn't like she had any proof beyond the lambda symbol and the words 'Property of G. Freeman' that her crowbar really once belonged to Gordon Freeman. She just believed.

Despite her skepticism triggering a somewhat cynical behavior, Jen however still remembered to have the courtesy to allow Star to finish, not interrupting the other girl any further. "If you think about it, it makes sense," Star continued, eliciting an quizzically raised eyebrow from Jen. "Since our keyblades come from our Hearts and Hearts seem to be linked to emotions. So I guess if we all feel like we want it enough, something might happen. Anyway, no harm in trying, right?"

"Well, darn... I never thought of it this way..." Jen replied sheepishly as she scratched the back of your head. It does make sense - what was it that drives Jen's insatiable thirst for knowledge? Was it not also the belief that she could make a difference in this world? Was it not due to her wishes of being someone who could work for the betterment of humanity? If said wishes and beliefs had gotten her this far, anything is possible. "It... it just bugs me though... because I have no idea how it works," Jen sighed as she threw her hands up in resignation.

"I don't like it... but I guess I'll have to adopt the mindset of 'I don't care how or why it works, I'm just glad it does'. Let's just see what happens, shall we?" Jen took a deep breath; I can't believe I'm doing this... she thought as she held aloft her crowbar as if attempting to transform into She-Ra, Princess of Power.

"Show me the way!" Jen declared, wishing upon all her heart that she would hold in her hands the key to the World That Never Was. The results were instant, and spectacular...

Posted Image

An electrical aura of purple light surrounded the crowbar, and suddenly the crowbar transformed...

Posted Image

into Jen's very own Keyblade! "Yes, this is the Pathfinder that will guide me..." Jen mused as she swung it around to test its weight and balance. Being a manifestation of her wishes, it was tailored to fit her needs perfectly as a weapon, and for that Jen was clearly impressed. Jen looked at another girl nearby, Yumi, whose face she recognized from the Open Mic night. She looked so different from the last time the purple-haired girl saw her, and it didn't take her much guessing to know she must've taken a severe emotional blow; it must have had something to do with the death of this Jameson that Lavender spoke about. They must have been close... Jen thought; she could tell from her hollow expression that the other girl's will had been broken, turning her into a person who had nothing to live for.

"The other girl worries me, Star," Jen said in a concerned voice, referring to Yumi. For someone who excelled at repairing things, Jen had to admit this was something that was beyond her ability to fix. The heart is such a fragile thing; so easy to break, yet so hard to put back together. Yet it is also what gives humanity its strength in the form of hopes and desire. Jen remembered what The Architect had once said in The Matrix, that hope is the foundation of all human strength as well as the source of all human weakness. And so she shall draw upon the foundation of her strength.

"I wish for the power to repair that which has been broken, to give back what was lost... to find hope even in the abyss of despair, let the gate be opened!" Jen hoped that this would work, or else she'd just make an idiot out of herself.

"Listen everyone!" Lavender relayed to the Arcadians still at the gates to the Third District. "The final assault has begun... follow my instructions; summon your Keyblades! Use the power of your beliefs and wishes to open the gate to the Nobodies' realm!"

That was word enough. It was time for Quin and his fellow Arcadians to do work.

There was certainly something going on there in the Third District. Quin knew anyone would suspect as much, and sure enough the suspicions turned out to be true.

Upon entering the Third District, Quin was greeted with a sight he had not expected. The last time he was in the Third District, he survived a brutal skirmish alongside Jameson and Junpei. There were hundreds of heartless that time, but most of them were just shades.

This time, there were thousands, and a large portion of them seemed to be wyverns, large bodies, and other stronger ones.

But Quin knew the difference was greater. This time around, the forces of light and dark were many, and they were all very strong in their own right. He knew these heartless were no longer a threat, and were just fodder for eliminating boredom.

Everywhere he looked, he saw people, and he saw leaders. He saw them taking action, preparing for what was to come.

The confirmation came from higher up. There was a gate present nearby, and only through the collective willpower of all the fighters would that gate open to the rumored world of nothing. Quin had no knowledge about the world other than what he had heard from fellow students, but surely it existed. Otherwise, the leaders of the assault would not have gathered and Hiro would not have had mobilized them.

Quin, along with dozens of other students, wished in his heart for the gate to open.

Look at his little dance
Erin followed along with the group. He wasn't really sure what they were doing but he was part of it whether he wanted to be or not. He shouldn't have come. He knew that he wouldn't be very much help but... He was here and he was going to fight.

He clenched his fists. Yeah. He would fight and win. He did that too often. He always had to convince himself he would survive. He didn't have the confidence to just go in without doing that. He looked at the Heartless surrounding them. Well, there wasn't really any other choice. His keyblade formed in his right hand. He could make two but... He liked using just the one. Using two was awkward for him.

He moved forward, the Keyblade knocking away anything that came too close to him for comfort. There was no need to try to defeat them all. Even with this many fighters that sort of thing wasn't likely to happen. They had to focus on going forward.

He hoped that everything would work out. It was the desire that had driven him lately. In the worst of times things had to just work out. That was the goal. It was always the goal. Things had to work out and everything get put right. It was his wish. They just had to be able to do what needed done and everything would work out.

Taking a spot above the place where the other students were fighting, Roz listened with her sensitive hearing what the others were talking about.,..

Wishing? a frown crossed her face..

"Mama.. what's wrong?" the small voice from her side said

Roz spoke softly "Concentrate.. view the gate before us.. and deeply wish within our hearts for the gate to open"

Both stood there with their eyes closed wishing for the gate to open... to the land of the Nobodies..

Netto E. Takashi

Netto: ...hmph.
Catching Gospel's Fang after its final throw, Netto points it forward at the gate.
Netto: Keyblade, unlock the gate to non-existence!
While Netto's command was made in a firm voice, in his mind, he lacked conviction. He had encountered so much in his travels across the multiverse. His homeworld had been destroyed, yes, but this wasn't the first time he'd been forced out of his home, and if restoring things to the way they were meant he would be unable to leave his own world...it wasn't a decision to be made lightly.
A voice rose up in Netto's mind, attempting to get him to focus. "We must show Organization XIII what it truly means to be whole...and what they must do to become whole again." Netto closes his eyes, trying to work out what he truly wishes for.

Randy, however, is well aware of what he wants. Pointing VariableBlade at the empty gate, he wishes with all his heart that the means to restore EXE be revealed, that the Nobodies who can still reform be made to see the light, and that those gathered here would have the strength to defeat the Nobodies that cannot. In the back of his mind, he also wishes that more people from EXE were here. Come to think...didn't Netto say Ed was there when the world fell into darkness? Randy quickly shifts this thought aside and focuses on what he desires. His Keyblade fills with the green light that usually remains only within the blade, and a beam of light shoots forth, flowing right past the Heartless army and stopping in the empty gate.

Even Spectrum gets in on the act, appearing in hologram form on Randy's shoulder. He pulls out a Keyblade of his own, steeped in darkness and tipped with the pulsing, demonic heart of a Heartless. This Keyblade, known as "Heart of Darkness," had the power to augment Spectrum's Dark powers, having been made through examination of Heartless data. It was much like the DarkLicense program, but in weapon form. The downside to strengthening Spectrum's Dark powers was that the Keyblade's usual damage boost against Heartless had been severely dampened, to the point where it would be difficult to tell that it was doing any extra damage at all.
Spectrum had learned to command the Heartless in an attempt to make himself stronger, but what good was all that power if he couldn't protect his NetOp, let alone his homeworld? How could he defeat Kain once and for all when the EXE world was engulfed in darkness? Through a deep understanding of the Heartless, he knew that he would not be able to simply have them give up the World Heart. If there was any way his world could be restored, it was through that empty gate. That gate that led Nowhere. Not even in the Undimension (which Netto and Randy frequented) was there a path to the World That Never Was...but if this World didn't exist, then where were the Heartless' hearts all going to? Firm in his conviction, Spectrum focuses his thoughts on opening the Dark Corridor within that empty frame and allowing him and all his friends to enter it. The "Heart of Darkness" Keyblade is surrounded by a sort of twilight energy, and a beam of darkness shoots forth to meet with Randy's beam of light, in the center of the gate.

Through all of this, the swarm of Heartless stands at the ready, sniffing the air and gorging on the scent of fresh hearts to harvest...but strangely, they do not advance, almost as though they're waiting for something...

What? We must go fight the Nobodies and Heartless in their home land?
        Isn't... isn't that rather dangerous?
Oh... I should have stayed in Gensokyo!
And now what? We have to wish for the gateway there using the key blade thing?
Those two identical thing that appeared on my hands for no good reasons just a while ago?
Oh great, and we are suppose to name them?
Whatever, I am not really interested.

Alright, I guess this is it, I think I am really going to look stupid.
"I wish..." Wait, what should I wish for?
Hmmm... Don't really have an idea.
        Oh, forget it.
"Please give me my normal high school live back as soon as possible!" I yelled.
That has been about the one small wish I have ever since I came to Hyakuji. And fate has always been cruel as to not even grant such a small, humble wish to me. I am really an unfortunate little girl.

Illist gave a deep disappointed sigh as he finally arrived at the epicenter of the potent sound wave he'd felt on entering the area. Taking a moment to catch his breath in the relative seclusion of an alley way on looking the showdown taking place, he'd almost forgotten that having a 'stride of purpose' was bloody exhausting to maintain across a whole town. Especially one those alley ways and cobbled roads seemed to turn upon one another like spaghetti. Noticing the soon swarming shadow shapes around him, it's clear to see why city planning wasn't on the top of the list in this district.

"Oh for the...I really don't have time to deal with this" The Heartless seemed to loom in every darkened doorway and window. Just beyond, a true battle seemed almost certain to break out at any moment. More and more would be heroes mounted their assault of what appeared to be wishful think against the barred door behind the Organization member, which beckoned curious investigation. As did the sudden influx of key blade owners. Evidently new energies were at work, and he toyed with the idea of taking of one of the weapons apart. It was a chance of fat that he could never own one, his own heart spread across so many planes his own blade would require a chain to hold them all. Besides, what use are keys to a man that knows no doors?

A small Heartless fainted an attack on Illist as he finally got the wind back in his lungs, only to have a hand with sword like fingers grip it's head and crush the creature like a ripe melon in a vice. shaking off what remained of the little monster from his hand as it returned to it's at-rest state, Illist could help but wonder if he too needed a key blade to unlock the Nobody home world. Surely a being of infinite planes would be allowed entrance...perhaps their world is barred to my kind in some way. His eyes glinted over the unfolding events as he stepped out into the main square, an unfamiliar contender. While he did not believe a collective wish was going to work; his desire to remove the Nobodies and Heartless was as deep as desire as any present. He added his own collective will to those pushing against the barrier between this world and that of the Nobodies; that same force that allowed him to travel between worlds. He added his voice to the rising choir as he strode out from his vantage point.

"It is imperative that door be opened and these undesirables be removed, their world ravaged, their goals crushed. " His voice rasped out over the clash, empty eyes at the door more then the Nobody before the gathering crowd. He considered the Nobodies and their plan an affront to his own Grand Experiment; something that must be removed before it could taint everything with compromise. Six Remnants surfaces again from their master's coat, fanning out with claws at the ready to defend Illist from the Heartless, and whatever else would be coming out from the swelling dervish events were promising to become.
