Meteor On Ready?

Garleon was unexpectedly large to say the least. Her attacks had certainly made a dent in the big guy's armor, but that only served to piss him off more and pull out a move she hadn't really expected--he whirled about to hit her with his massive tail. Since she hadn't quite seen it coming--he sure turned quickly for a massive beast--and had no way to fly out of the way, it struck her full on. The brunt of the strike was absorbed by the Faiz armor, but as was typical with the Gear, the sudden shock knocked the belt right off of her and sent it flying. When she finally crashed against the side of one of Dark City's many skyscrapers, she'd reverted right back to her normal self. Which, as anyone who had fought with her before knew, pissed her right the hell off. "That... that bastard...! I'LL BLOW HIM APART!" she yelled, dragging herself back to her feet. Sure, she could've spent time looking for the Faiz Driver and transformed back into Kamen Rider Faiz... but that would take time. This had to end. Afterwards she could leisurely locate the Gear and proceed. So instead, she made a mental note of her crash site and dragged herself back to her feet. It was time to break free of her limits. Even if it meant at the cost of her sanity... hopefully that effect would be nullified when this all ended. Giving the mightiest yell she could muster, Ayane released every bit of energy surging through her Dark Heart. Briars of Decay were too small and ineffective against a large target, so she focused entirely on producing two things. One, an army of Invader Heartless a hundred strong. Two, nearly half as many Dark Orbs as she had Invaders on the field. All were aimed once more at the arm points she'd fired at earlier and unleashed hell. Though while they were combining firepower into pinpoint destruction, her mind was being eaten away. The more power she used, the more of her 'self' slipped. Fond memories, feelings of love and caring, all that was positive in her past life just fizzled into darkness. And even though with every blast she could feel herself becoming just a tool for revenge and cruelty... ...it felt... pretty good. |

Aisia flinched as Garleon whipped Ayane into a nearby building, knocking her out of her Faiz form. However, that quickly turned into horror when she saw Ayane unleashing the darkness from her heart and turning them into weapons aimed at decimating Garleon once and for all. But she knew what that meant. Ayane... could be siphoning away her entire heart just for this. She wanted to stop her. She really did. But that promise still hung over their heads. If we're working towards the same goal, I can't be allowed to stop you, and neither must you allow yourself to stop me. We're not allowed to help each other... either. "Ayane!..." Then she remembered the other half of that promise. The only time we can fight each other is if... if either one of us feels that the other is going too far. After all, being on opposite sides... one might know something the other doesn't. We just have to trust each other when that time comes. Aisia clenched her fist in anger. This... to her, this was going too far. But if she stopped her now... She shook her head. She knew that this was exactly what she needed to do. She released her Skygrasper, letting it flit away as she transformed back into her original self. She needed as much Light as she could, and the Strike Form only took away from it. She then teleported herself to Ayane's side... But instead of hitting her, she held her left hand with her right. Almost immediately, Aisia was engulfed in a sea of pain, her body unable to handle such close proximity to Ayane's Darkness. And still, she held on. She had to. She needed to be the Light that shone as a beacon that surrounded Ayane's Darkness - a reminder to her that Darkness cannot exist without Light to cast a shadow, nor can there be Light without a Darkness to validate its existence. She shone with a great light as she collected the Oath of the Wand on her free left hand and aimed it at Garleon's knees! "Ayane! I'm sorry... I can't keep our promise... but please, forgive my selfishness and let me help you!" As Ayane let loose with her Dark Orbs, Aisia followed it up by letting loose with a single giant ball of Light! Garleon was about to find out what happens when the Light follows the Darkness! |

"Looks like everyone is giving it everything they've got." Lavender said to herself as she watched as Aisia and Ayane let loose with what appeared to be a potentially-suicidal all-out attack on Garleon. "In this case, I'm not holding anything back either!" Lavender summoned up all her energy as a massive cyclone whirled around her, creating a dust devil which all but obscured Lavender from view. With a sudden, sharp howl, the wind suddenly changed direction - a blast wave emanating outwards in all directions, blowing a cloud of dust all around. As the dust cloud died down, Lavender was standing in the heart of the storm with her eyes closed, having activated her Drive Form, clad in a white form-fitting armor and billowing blue dress, her Keyblade now transformed into a rune-covered broadsword.
Lavender opened her eyes, staring at Garleon with a steely, resolute gaze as the winds once again picked up, while a halo of white light surrounded her body, rays of light bursting from her back, gradually forming into the shape of a pair of white feathered wings. Lavender flapped her wings, and although the movements were gentle her wingbeats stirred up a powerful vortex of wind around her, as Lavender was surrounded in a violet sphere of high-velocity winds. With a shout, Lavender thrust her blade forward, and in an instant the winds changed direction as the aeromancer unleashed a cyclone in Garleon's direction, the winds picking up speed and compressing itself at the end, taking on the shape and consistency of a drill as it blasted towards Garleon's chest! |

[SOUND CUE: Counterattack] Despite being only a handful, their powers grew stronger with every passing moment, and Garleon could even see that he, the Beast of Destruction might not last much longer under the combined effort of these challengers that dared to oppose him. His radiating Destruction aura prevented any form of telekinetic touch to touch his form, and Karsus’ attempt to divert his limbs, both joined and disjointed to turn on him was useless, and he was better off using that power on something else beside everything that was him. Miyuki’s attempt to co-ordinate their attacks were slowly working, and while the hail of finger missiles he was launching at her were barely hitting her, her returning powered up shots found their mark easily on him, granted he was a big presentable target seeing as that he was four meters tall and all. Garleon grunted audibly to each shots that hit, and the two gunner was keeping him busy rather well. Well enough in fact, for Kouta to be able to land a drop kick on him, despite Garleon being able to see him coming. The kick connected with the upper chest right above his lion chest plate, and it sent him reeling back and crashing into a nearby building: there were now cracks on his chest and lion face chest plate. And before he could even get up, a combined assault of Light, Dark and a bit of Wind at the same time from Erin, Ayane, Aisia and Lavender hit him in his most vulnerable state, and while the blasts and tearing wind hits his limbs, the cracks on his chest plate grew longer and larger until with an almighty shattering noise, it broke. Parts of the lion head fell from its place and onto the concrete floor, leaving a gash in his chest from which dark inky liquid bled out, and Garleon roared in pain like never before. To think that he was being bested by the likes of them was inconceivable, he wanted to lash out even more now, and there were few things he could do so with. With a whine of actuators and motors from his battered joints, Garleon stood back up and raised his hands on either side. “Gemu… Giru…” He began to chant an ancient spell, and the air around them all grew colder and the surrounding light grew darker than it was previously... |

It seemed to be working. Her mighty army was cracking away Garleon's armor. Her sadistic grin only grew the more her attacks struck away. With right hand extended, she continued to siphon away power from herself to realize it as a Dark weapon. She was on the verge of becoming exactly the existence she fought against when Hyakuji was real--a being consumed by a dark heart, giving freely to all the negative emotions humanity had to offer. Were this Hyakuji instead of a broken nega-universe, a paranormal frequency would have turned her into an Invader by now. Even so, none of it mattered. Her goal was being accomplished in spectacular fashion. Once Garleon was out of the way all she had to do was gather her gear again and take out Xenmas. The thought of rending him limb from limb was exhilirating-- Suddenly, there was a flash of pink light and a squeeze of her left hand. Almost as quickly as she felt the contact, Ayane let out a pained scream as Aisia Asakura's equally powerful Light washed over her. It was strong enough that it made her stagger back a step and falter in her concentration, some of the Invader Heartless losing their physical form as their creator lost the energy required to keep them corporeal. "A-Aisia...! Wh..what are you...!?" 'What are you doing!? You made me promise not to help or hurt you!' is what she wanted to say, but the feedback was too strong. Though Aisia looked like she was suffering quite a bit herself, the other girl managed to stay steady and focused. Her purity was beginning to undo the damage Ayane had done to herself. Though it also meant that her Dark power was dwindling and more Heartless were merely disintegrating, it also meant her sanity and self were returning. "Ayane! I'm sorry... I can't keep our promise... but please, forgive my selfishness and let me help you!" Aisia yelled out, focusing her Light into energy similar to the Dark Orbs Ayane had been using. Though it was still painful as hell, Ayane nodded and decided to change her focus. Closing her eyes and concentrating as hard as she could, she erased the Invader Heartless from the field and instead focused all the energy she could muster into the preparation for one massive blast. "Okay... Aisia. Let's do this... together," she said weakly, grinning past the pain and pulling back her right hand while turning away from Aisia, her hand back far enough to reach straight behind. The fingers of her other hand still intertwined in Aisia's right, she nodded to her and urged that the other girl do the same. Once together she'd put as much Dark energy as she could into a single sphere that formed in the palm of her hand and grew. If Aisia followed, then the orb would find itself joined by an equal force from Aisia's end. Rather than nullifying one another, however, lightning would crackle about the surface of the chimera sphere as it instead multiplied in strength. Once there was nothing more to give... it was time to let go. Everything they both had, together, in one strike! Ayane yelled a battle cry and snapped her right arm back to the front, unleashing her end of the power they'd gathered at Garleon's chest! |

When his kick connected, Kouta flipped back and ended up being caught by the ever trusty Gouram. It was...quick to recover from whatever beatings it took and immediately it began circling around, putting distance between itself and Oxkito...because what would come next required a lot of room. If his kick didn't work...it just meant he needed to kick it even harder. So, the path was set and the Gouram began flying straight at Garleon, picking up speed with each second. All the while Kouta had charged up his kick again...building up whatever he had left. He was running on guts right now, but that hasn't failed him before... And with that, the Gouram stopped, and ended up slingshotting Kouta off it's back and at the Garleon. It was another, power Amazing Mighty Kick, this time with a lot of extra momentum behind it! |

Look at his little dance
|
After his cut went through he nodded satisfied. As he stumbled back a few steps he heard Garleon start chanting. Keh... What's he trying to pull now? As the world got darker he gritted his teeth. He stepped back as Ayane and Kouta came down with their attacks. He didn't want to get in the way of that sort of strike. Not that he wasn't willing to go in for his own attack. Stepping in Erin swung his sword of light around and went for Garleon's neck, the blade swinging as fast as Erin could move. His full weight was behind the attack, but he didn't really expect it to work. "GYAH!" |

She only had enough AP for a single card. But at this point, the 'flow' of the battle was firmly in their favour, and it had to be ended before the quicksilver nature of combat could again assert itself and turn the tables. With that one card... [BULLET] The Rouzer counted down to 0, and she took aim. Taking care to avoid the others, Garren continued to spray even more gunfire into Garleon, concentrating on disabling the other arm this time. |

Aisia indeed followed through with Ayane's suggestion, glad that the other girl wasn't about to argue the point. As such, she continued to fuel her part of the Light that was creating the combination attack. She had to be careful though; too little and it would be overpowered by the Darkness, and too much and it could overpower Ayane's attack. So, she concentrated. Making sure that she let out as much as Ayane did. Not overpowering her, nor letting herself be overpowered too. "Okay... Aisia. Let's do this... together," Ayane managed to say as she pulled her arm back. It seemed that she wanted her to do the same, so she did, and a ball of Light formed on her left hand. She put as much as she could in it, but also tried to gauge how much Ayane put into hers - and she could tell that she was putting EVERYTHING in it. Aisia just hoped that what Light energy she gave was enough as she launched the combined mass of Light and Dark energy at Garleon's chest at the same time Ayane did! |
