Yumi listened attentively as the man on the stage began to speak. She was a little frustrated, however, as he had begun before Lavender had had a chance to answer her question about Jameson. Yumi had been hoping to catch him before the official part of the meeting started, but apparently it was not meant to be. Resigning herself to the inevitable, she settled in to absorb the man's words.

So this was Hiro Tsukasa? She had heard him spoken of many times by other Hyakuji students, and she even thought she might have seen his name on the timetable she had received on the first day of school. Unfortunately, however, she had never had a chance to see him until now, seeing as how Hyakuji was destroyed on the very day the girl had arrived.

Listening to him speak, Yumi felt a growing respect forming in her for this man. His words were wise and unifying, full of hope. She felt an uncomfortable twinge of panic, however, at his mention of deaths. Someone from Arcadia had died?! Yumi glanced quickly from side to side, scanning the crowd once more. Who was present? Who was absent? It was impossible to tell with such a swollen mass of people. Any death was awful, but when it was someone you knew... someone you had worked with... personalising it just made it so much worse.

The girl found it difficult to follow Hiro's words after that, not least because she was not fully informed about the Nobodies and this Xemnas character. After all, she had missed most of the crucial fights in which the explanations had been given. In the end though, she understood enough to realise that a fight was coming. A huge one. Possibly the one decisive battle that would control the fate of all of them in the future. Yumi really didn't want to get involved in another fight, not after the disastrous outcome the last time. At the same time though, she didn't like the sound of this Xemnas character having access to any wish he wanted, and by the same token she hoped they could use the wish themselves to bring Hyakuji back.

She was torn. Hiro was asking for their commitment, but Yumi found herself unable to speak. Luckily, at that moment Lavender began briefing the Arcadians present with a speech of her own. Yumi listened gravely as her commander spoke of failing in her duty to protect them. So it was true. One of their number was dead, gone. The girl felt all the muscles in her body tensing up. The suspense was driving her insane. Who? Who was it? Who had they lost? But when the answer did finally come, she would have given anything to remove the words from her memory.

"The enemy has dealt us a dire blow, and we have lost one who is dear to us - Jameson," Lavender proclaimed.

Jameson. She stood, frozen in shock. Jameson. The word did not seem real. How could it? There had to be some mistake. It's not like her mentor was the type of person to throw himself headlong into battle and sacrifice himse-

Her face crumpled, her legs buckled beneath her. A terrible wailing sound erupted from within her. Could it really be true? Jameson! How could he be gone? Her first friend in this confusing world, her only true friend. Her mentor, her teacher. The man who chased after her with his limp and his cane, who bought her pretty dresses and nice clothes and took her out for meals. How could he be gone? It was impossible! A man who was so full of life - he loved living! But he loved justice more, Yumi reminded herself.

Slowly, slowly, she began to accept the truth of it. But it was difficult. Oh, it was difficult. Somehow, she had found the loss of her family easier to bear. Perhaps because she had never been so close to them, or maybe because they had had a proper farewell. It was impossible to know. All Yumi really knew for sure at that moment was that her dearest friend was dead, and he had died without her having a chance to mend their relationship. The cruelty of fate was truly awful. Yumi would regret their last parting forever more.

The question was, what was she going to do now? The girl felt numb, drained of all energy or purpose. Somehow, a world without Jameson in it didn't feel like a very worthwhile place to live. Lavender, however, was still speaking.

"...now is the time for neither tears, nor mourning. Instead of being saddened by how he died, let us be inspired by how he lived - let us stand together as Arcadians; for Jameson, for our lost loved ones... for Hyakuji."

To Yumi, it seemed as good a plan as any at that moment. She was uprooted, drifting aimlessly through the world - if Lavender told her that she should fight for Jameson's sake, then that was what she would do. Somehow, dying didn't seem like such a bad option anymore either. So she would fight. Hopefully, her contribution would count for something. Hopefully, they would be able to win Hyakuji back. Nothing else matter anymore. She would fight, or die trying.

Both options sounded quite appealing.

The Devil Pig is here!
Trystan's memory was triggered as Hiro introduced himself by name to the crowd, his memories flooding into his mind. Images of Hiro flooded into his mind, of his sensei teaching various classes, of laughing along with the students, and of him living a quiet life. However, alongside these memories were vague glimspes from his other personalities, of a terrifying amount of magical ability, of a tremendous combat potential, and most importantly, of an indomitable spirit. With this newfound knowledge and insight of the person named Hiro, Trystan shifted his stance; this certainly was a man worth listening to, not only due to his position as his teacher, but also as a man worthy of respect. However, Hiro's next words took Trystan by complete surprise, knocking him with a rabbit punch below the belt.

"However, in truth it doesn't matter who I am... I'm merely giving you a name to attach to this face... what's important is the message I have to deliver. Xemnas lied to you all."

His insides started churning in a very familiar, and still very unpleasant manner. He could feel it in his guts, and he really didn't want to hear what was coming next. It probably wasn't just him either - the atmosphere in the crowd had changed entirely. There were some who had been relaxed, thinking it was just another routine call to duty. There were others who had been slightly nervous, everyday citizens who needed to know if there was news of their world, if perhaps it was safe to go back to where they truly called home. There were even others who had been giddy at the thought of having more Heartless to kill, those who made it into a game of scorecards, averages, and math. However, these varied feelings in the air had changed. Even these people could feel it coming. This was a feeling that he hadn't felt in awhile - pure and simple dread. His arms wrapped around his stomach, trying to calm his nerves. Damn it, it hurt; it still hurt after all this time. The scars on his body that was the result of his overall decreasing inter-demensional stability were aching, aching everywhere. Nina placed a hand worryingly over Trystan's own, her eyes looking upwards, seeking Trystans, silently inquiring about his condition. Smiling slightly, but still trembling, Trystan indicated that he was still fine, that he wanted to hear what was next.

"Two people died, one a valued member of Arcadia, to get this information back to us. I don't know what exactly he seemed to have told most of you ages ago after that first massive Heartless attack, but it was an equivocation. For those here from Hyakuji you should know he's been holding our Principal captive claiming her to be the 'key' to Kingdom Hearts. For those not from our world while the people might not hold personal meaning the fact this man has killed companions and holds others captive against their will should be cause enough. All this time...All this time... you've been working and fighting so hard to find an end to the Heartless and perhaps some sort of salvation for the worlds lost to them. However, all you've really been doing all this time is finishing Kingdom Hearts for Xemnas to use for his own wishes. We know he's kept things hidden from his subordinates as well as granted them some odd stone with powerful abilities but dangerous consequences they themselves were not informed of. However, for the time being it's assumed their loyalties generally lie with him."

As Trystan took this information in, his head started swimming. He knew some of this, but didn't know it in the detail with which Hiro was revealing his information. He had known the Principal had been missing, but had had no idea that she was with Xemnas. He did not know what Kingdom Hearts was, though it was almost used like an everyday term. It was the sort of word which one would use, completely unaware of what it really meant, and yet everyone around you assumed that you did know. If one were to ask, one would be ridiculed, and would learn to never ask again. Kingdom Hearts - the ability to grant a single wish; who didn't know? And yet at the same time, what could anyone know about a thing so powerful it could grant any single wish you had without experiencing for themselves? Because of this, one ends up never really finding out what it really is, and works with a running definition of it that would change at any time. The words being spoken started to swim along with his vision of the world, undulating in and out, with only few key terms really coming through. The Fuse was resonating heavily, trying to get out, trying to force its way back into the inter-dimensional pocket it had come out from. Even it had a place it wanted to return to.Nina supported his much heftier body as well as she could as he started wobbling. However, she herself was on the verge of collapse. Her earlier thoughts came back in full force, threatening to overwhelm her.

"But that doesn't matter. It doesn't matter who sides with this Monster or who gets in our way. We need to mount a full scale assault and finish this before he has a chance to activate Kingdom Hearts. It's not just about Arcadia anymore... or BOARD... or The Order... or Hyakuji... or any one specific world. This problem has become something larger than any single person or group gathered here right now. And it will take all of us, together to resolve it. A lot of you don't know me... those that do might resent my absence in the recent months, but it's not about me or you... or any of us. This is about all of us... every world, all life that exists across the Multiverse. I'm not asking anyone here to fight for me. I'm suggesting something we all do and stating my desire to fight alongside each one of you here. If Kingdom Hearts is the power to grant any wish then we cannot allow Xemnas to have it. We should go to this Kingdom Hearts ourselves, collectively, and see who holds the strongest desire. Our will to defeat the Heartless and restore the lost worlds or whatever this Xemnas fellow's selfish wish is."

Trystan's mind slowly started to focus as Hiro continued speaking, as both the Fuse and the crowd calmed and centered their energies upon Hiro's speech. By this point in time, Hiro had stepped down, and started mingling along with the crowd. As his vision started to clear up, he started to feel a strange sensation from his chest. It was a warm sort of glow which expanded outwards, surging with a sudden, intense heat. He knew, and yet at the same time, didn't know what was happening. It seemed natural and right that it would occur this way. However, it was still a foreign sort of feeling, hesitant, but willing. As soon as it started, the feeling recided, leaving a large set of rosary beads around his neck, with a single dangling key tying the whole thing together. Turning to look at Nina, he was surprised to see that she too had gotten a random accessory, taking the form of a small key tied onto a choker around her neck. Just what exactly was happening? Trystan turned back towards the source of Hiro's voice from at the front of the crowd as he started speaking again.

"Will you fight with me? We're all here right now. If we mount an attack with a force this size I have no doubt in our success. The only problem remaining in our path is simply that the information gathered suggested The Organization resides in a unique location... The World That Never Was... a world which no Warp Gates have access to. But... surely... with all of us together... if you're all willing to take this fight to Xemnas with me, I'm sure we can discover the way... Please?"

Trystan turned back instinctively towards Nina, trying to catch her eyes. However, though he tried, Nina was uncharacteristically averting her eyes away from him. Putting his hands on her shoulder, Trystan tried to turn Nina so he could see. As he did this, Nina merely shrugged his hands off, then turned her back towards him, walking off towards an unoccupied bench. Even with no words exchanged, the two both more or less knew what the other was thinking. Nina was upset, she didn't want him to fight; Trystan wanted to fight, and felt the need to uphold his Justice. Scratching his head and sighing, Trystan stood where he was, looking on as Nina, even while sitting on the far away bench, turned her back towards him. After thinking for awhile, Trystan walked to where Nina was, then sat down next to her, leaning his back against hers, his head leaning back and bumping gently with her own. He could feel the shivering in within the small shoulders which were already shouldering so much. The fear and uncertainty within her was almost tangible to him; it left a bitter aftertaste in his mouth. They sat there in silence, sharing the warmth in the still-chilly morning air. Before Trystan could speak, Nina broke the silence first, her voice still trembling. He could see her face in his mind, struggling to keep her composure, but lower lip slightly quivering.

"D-Don't say anthing, Master. I already know what you think of the situation."

"...Then please don't stop me, Nina. This is not only about you and me, this is about -"

Suddenly whipping around, Nina's small fists beat down as hard as she could against Trystan's back, her face a wet mess, and her head lowered in frustrated anger and sadness.

"Why can't it, Trystan?! Why can't it be just about us? Why can't we just...stay here...a quiet life..."

Her voice trailed off into a soft sobbing, punctuated occasionally with small hiccups.

Turning around as well, Trystan pulled Nina into a deep embrace, his arms tightening around her small body. She had always seemed so strong emotionally, always there for him when he needed it, a pillar of towering conviction in his mind. It was only today, here, for the first time, that he honestly felt that he was truly the most useless man alive. He was unable to help the woman he cared for the most achieve the happiness that she wanted. He was unable to provide for her when she, in turn, needed him the most. He was a failure of a man, his Justice that had served him well until today had completely failed him. This woman, Nina, she was too good for him. However, exactly because of this, he needed to fight. There was no telling what would happen if a man like Xemnas utilized Kingdom Hearts to further his own means. Though his Justice was utterly incomplete, he would exert it to his full strength in order to protect this woman. His own voice trembling slightly, Trystan tightened his embrace even more, two slight beads of silent tears trickled down his face.

"I'm sorry, Nina...But I promise you...I'll definitely be back, so wait for me. So long as you need me, I will come. I've never broken a promise yet - I don't plan on breaking any anytime soon...Dakara, nakanaide kure....Onegai...Nina..."

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
"Now that I think of it, Master....if we can dual weild Keyblades now, will we be able to use four keyblades in Cross-fusion? Like General Grievious?" Kyra pondered, staring up at the sky as if looking for a sign of a keyhole.

"Nah, the risks are far too big if we do something like that. Not to mention the chance that I might turn cannibalistic again." SH shook his head in disgust, beads of sweat on his brow. How long exactly did he have to hold the Keyblade up in the air? He was only human after all, and not many can keep their arm raised for a half hour or more. "What's with the flour, btw?"

"This?" Kyra eyed the sacks for a moment before shrugging with a smile. "Nothing too major, I just figure that at least one of the Organization members has the power to turn invisible. Or I could use them as projectiles against Xiroh to blind him so I can tear off his head."

"That could work, I suppose. Unless Xiroh has been holding on to that Z Saber, the chances of his real world swords being effective will diminish." SH nodded in approval, his other hand over his PET. Tango, being held captive once more, snoozed blissfully inside of it mumbling about world conquest. "I can't want to see the look on his face. Still, you should get your own Keyblade out."

"Do I look like I want to let those weasels loose? You know all too well their pervertedness." Kyra chuckled, recalling the time when she summoned her Keyblade, only to see SH stark naked seconds after his clothing was ripped to shreds. Her face went beet red as a cherry upon seeing that and kicked her Master out the window with a scream of terror.

"That I do, that I do." SH grumbled, his face still rather sore from the incident. "That's why I'll have Snowflake defend me when you sic the weasel triplets on the Nobodies."

".........." Snowflake 'said' in reply, even though there was no words to be said.

Being the obedient one, Hajime sat and listened quietly to the information that was coming from this Hiro Tsukasa who the general consensus was a teacher from his old school which he couldn’t remember of. Try as he might, he couldn’t sense deep anything about the man from inside him other than the belief that he is who he and everyone claims to be.

That said, his revelation on this black cloaked group was startling, surprising and just downright shocking to Hajime who had somewhat accepted them as the good guys with a different cause. The few encounter he had with them pretty much looked that way to him, but if this information was right, if they were playing and leading them around from the start, then he demands some answers.

Worse, what if all this happened because of them? What if, his amnesia was just something they had a part in? The thought of the possibilities burned inside him and his determination for a solution or maybe even a closure for his unwanted condition was hotter than ever. Looking up after the speech has ended; Hajime’s face was a mask of tranquil fury.

“I’m burning.” Hajime said calmly, standing up on Machine Tornader. “My heart is burning. I want answers about my amnesia, and if this will be how I’ll get it, then so be it. Count me in!”

---

Oxkito turned briefly to see Xephiroths appear behind him and acknowledges the other Nobody before turning back to the gathering. “Very well.” Ox replied, stepping forward and materializing a long trombone rifle which he then lifted up and peers through the scope, and trained the rifle straight at Hiro and just simply pulled the trigger, sending a single sonic round at the high school teacher’s head.

While he wasn’t aiming to kill, the shot in itself and the target he selected would kick up the hornet’s nest just nicely for them, and Xemnas would have no choice now but to carry on with whatever his plan is with Kingdom Hearts in a rush, which would give them some time to intervene and take it away from him.

At the same time, the gathered people would find Shadows of all kinds suddenly popping out of the ground and without warning, attacks them all. And somewhat clearly and quite obviously, a familiar black hooded figure made his escape towards the Third District...

NICE DRIVE!
It came out of nowhere suddenly. And though Hiro Tsukasa didn't have the time to look for the source he easily recognized the faint sound and sudden pressure on his ears signaled some form of sonic-based attack. Letting a familiar smirk work its way across his face he held forth his right hand and mumbled a few odd sounding phrases as a vibrant pink-colored barrier formed deflecting the sonic round as it crashed into the ground nearby and proceeded to blast a large chunk out of Traverse Town's earthen floor rather than out of Hiro's face.

"Nice aim," Hiro taunted as the barrier vanished and he looked up to just make out the form of an Organization cloak rushing off towards the Third District, "Too bad really. If they'd set all this up around a month earlier I'd have no means to stop that and would be having to listen to Jameson go on and on chewing me out for dying early."

"Everyone," Hiro cried out as he took off running in chase after the black cloak, "They're going to the Third District. It's as good a chance as any, maybe we can follow them back! Leave the Shadows in the city to Fairy Tail!"

"AYE!" the entire Mage Guild shouted in unison in answer to Hiro's suggestion.

Do the right thing...
JP didn't know what was happening, at first. He couldn't be sure whether he saw the deflection of something in front of the teacher's face, or the emergence and attack of a seemingly massive amount of Shadows.

"They're going to the Third District. It's as good a chance as any, maybe we can follow them back! Leave the Shadows in the city to Fairy Tail!"

Whatever hesitation he had vanished at the last sentence. Not that he would have taken any particular measures to act against the Shadows anyway (for which he felt didn't so much as threaten him as block his way). At first, he attempted to run in the direction the hooded figure was moving, but found that his choice of placement in the middle of a massive crowd worked two ways. It limited his risk of receiving an attack from the surrounding Shadows, but hindered his means of escape.

Localized Spacial-Anomaly Maneuvering...duh!

Crouching a little, JP began his move into the mirror of Traverse Town, running everytime he appeared in the light world, and gaining speed everytime he went back to the dark version of the chase. To anyone watching, it would look like a boy was erupting in a black-purple burst, and re-appearing somewhere farther ahead. Normally, he would have wanted to remain unseen, but he could only move so far with a given "maneuver", and so he did his best to pursue the hooded figure, having moved past the surrounding line of Shadows with ease (along with other civilians in the area).

Somewhere inside him, he could feel that following this person would be the key to change. Something was going to happen. He had to be part of it.

"Let's go!"Ryo said as he charged off to the Third District.

"Aren't we going to Merge?"Model S asked.

"Not yet. We will save that for our last resort,"Ryo said. He followed behind Hiro.

"Master, we won't be using the Pile Driver yet. We'll save it for the big guys,"Django said running after Hiro.

"A month earlier you wouldn't have been the target."

Eiji's deep voice came from behind the Magician. His hands were unusually in his pockets as he stood there, relaxed, his hair flowing in the wind as he looked at the rushing flash-mob rushing after the Nobody, his back was turned to Hiro. They didn't usually looked at each other on those rare occasions they actually talked... as if they didn't want to admit they could get along even slightly.

Yes, Hiro had become a threat overnight and the organization had to rush and try to stop him before he did the same to them.

"I don't resent you leaving, Hiro... in fact it's been awfully nice without you around all this time. Gave me a chance to... well, run my business."

Eiji smirked slightly knowing Hiro wouldn't be too happy to think of what Wo Shing might have done this whole time.

"But still, as usual... "

He ran a hand through his hair as he started to walk away, the other still in his pocket.

"...when it comes to 'saving the world' you do come in handy."

Eiji walked away, satisfied to know Hiro was back on his feet and this madness would finally come to an end.

"See you there."

And he was gone.

It was an obvious trap. Far too obvious. Provoking, and then escaping, causing an enemy to follow you into a position more advantageous to you. It was a feint so obvious it would only work on those unschooled and undisciplined masses who knew nothing about combat above the level of individuals.

...It was unfortunate of course, that such a rabble group consisted of... unschooled and undisciplined masses who knew nothing about combat above the level of individuals.

She swore to herself as she held on to Kouta. She knew he'd have the urge to go and chase, especially with Hiro's words. This was far too rushed, far too disorganised. And while she acknowledged that man's abilities, she detested his inability to plan and properly value the people he sent to fight with him.

"I know what you want to do." she started "Don't. It's too obvious. There will be a way to do this but a mindless mass rush isn't it."

As for BOARD, it may have seemed unwise to actually deploy everyone at once, every single combat capable Rider was out here and waiting for the signal to be deployed, but at the same time...could they really just leave everything to just Fairy Tail? It was a big risk to take, what point was there to restoring their homeworlds if a large number of them weren't even alive to be there?

"It's good to see you guys..." the voice was powerful despite the panic, and yet it came from such a weak looking man: Leo Emmerich, president of BOARD. Something was different about him however, as he seemed to be wearing a belt much like the Faiz and Kaixa Drivers but that wasn't all. He was being escorted by a number of men clad in black suits...

"Taking care of all of you...is part of our jobs." Leo continued, pulling out a cellphone akin to the Faiz one...except the mission memory on it bore the letter: Ψ. He'd flip the phone open and hit a certain number sequence before flipping it back closed and raising it high.

[3][1][5]
[ENTER]

[STANDING BY]

At the same time, the dapper army pulled out their own belts, simple ones with red straps a single black buckle with the BOARD logo on it, the buckle itself seemed to function like the Faiz/Kaixa Phone docks, needing to be slid down in order to....

"HENSHIN!"

[COMPLETE]

In an orderly fashioned the staff of BOARD was transformed, Leo himself appeared to be a new Rider, white with blue photon streams and a purple "eye". equipped with what seemed to be a jetpack of sorts. The dapper army had been transformed into...what appeared to be Mass Production Faiz's, only their armor was bronze and the notable lack of Photon Streams with a simpler helmet design all in all: BOARDs new weapons: the Riotroopers.

"We'll handle things here too, now go!"

"Let's go Kotaro, we don't have time to waste!" Kazuna stated seriously, pulling out her Blay Buckle and sliding the Change Beetle card inside. She then held it in front of her waist in order to let the belt form around it, before assuming the usual pose she did.

"HENSHIN!"

[TURN UP]

Her hand moved down and flipped the switch, causing the card window to turn around and reveal the Spade emblem while at the same time the blue transformation screen bearing the Change Beetle's image shot forth, knocking away any Heartless that may have tried to attack before running right into it: transforming into Kamen Rider Blade!

[AP: 5000]

She'd soon make a dash for where she parked the Blue Spader before mounting and starting it: it was time to head to the Third District and find their way to the Nobody Stronghold!

"...fine, if you say so." Kouta cursed, clenching his fists. He had a score to settle with Oxkito, he was this close to just pushing Miyuki aside and transforming himself but had to contain it for now.

Tensa Zangetsu
The Black Reaper
Duo winced as the start of the sonic attack hit them out of nowhere. Immediately, the rest of his suit slid over him, incasing him in the nigh impregnable mech suit. The microphose built into the suit instantly compensated by reducing the reception volume until Hiro erected some sort of barrier to block the sudden assault on their ears. It seemed he had been prepared for something like this, which seemed to emphasize that he knew what he was doing in this whole situation.

As Hiro called for everyone to give chase, the computers in his suit immediately predicted the high likelihood of a trap. "Trap or no trap, its time for the God of Death to send a few souls straight to hell!" With that he took off in the direction of the Third District, quickly overtaking those stuck on the ground below. He drew his scythe from his hip, the glowing green blade igniting ferociously.
____________________________________________________________

Ganta covered his ears as the sound hit it, caught off guard by the sudden noise. Fortunately his discomfort was relieved by the creation of the barrier and the fleeing of the one responsible for the surprise attack. He grimaced as the barrier was lowered and everyone charged forward to begin the fight. "Finally, time for some real payback, and a chance to burn some Heartless." He took off in the same direction as the others, both his hands already engulfed in flames.

Meteor On Ready?
Ayane didn't need to be told twice. Shrugging off Saito's hand, she reached into her jacket and retrieved the trusty Faiz Phone, now in its final revision. Or rather, as far as she knew there was no more equipment to be had for the Gear. Though she still couldn't fathom what BOARD was thinking by letting her remain Kamen Rider Faiz even after the Shinya events, Leo never once witheld the Gear from her.

This time was no different.

[5][5][5]
[ENTER]

Keying the transformation code in, she held the phone high much like Leo had with his own device, declaring the very same "Henshin!" and slamming the phone down into position in the exact same form.

[COMPLETE]

The familiar red Photon Blood jetted from the sides of the Faiz Driver, surrounding Ayane's body and forming the Faiz Armor. It didn't look any different from any of the other times she'd used it, except that an observant person who had seen it before might notice the fact that there were weapons attached to either side of the belt, and there was an odd-looking red watch attached to the armor's left wrist. They weren't exactly large changes, so overall there was no change to the Gear itself.

Without so much as being called, Autovajin hovered down from the skies into the crowd, settling onto its robotic legs beside Faiz. Faiz then reached back and rapped the back of her fist against the Faiz symbol on Autovajin's chest, causing the robot to transform back into a motorcycle--like a boss.

It was on that robotic motorcycle that she tore through the crowd on the way to Third District.

Of course, Taiga had it much easier. She owned a frickin' superdimensional train, for heaven's sakes! She merely had Ryuuji take control of the train to point it towards Third District, transforming right then and there on the balcony.

[ALTAIR FORM]

Now she was ready. This was the final decisive battle. Spending a Card was well worth it if it meant seeing this through to the end! She had to... after her failure in AC/DC Town, she had been depressed to the point of not going on any missions whatsoever, shutting herself away in the ZeroLiner. Only with the promise of an end to all this madness did she bother to go outside, bother to fight.

Which was exactly what worried Ryuuji as he flew the ZeroLiner into battle. What if this didn't end things? What if they lost again, like back in the EXE world?

No, I can't think that! I've got to believe in Taiga and see this through!

Due to his close proximity to Hiro, Nickle could was pretty aware that the shot had fired. Nickle gritted his teeth and formed the second of his keyblades, The Road to Dawn. If the Organisation were wanting to take pot shots, then so be it. While the mod rushed around him, this way and that, Nickle closed his eyes and let his wings form behind him in a quick burst of light.
If they were heading to the third district, then all the more reason to get there as soon as possible.

Rather than taking Traverse Towns many twists and turns, he would fly over them! Somehow, he was smiling at the prospect of charging towards battle. He chalked it merely down to the adrenalin that was pumping through him now. There was going to be nothing enjoyable about this battle. For it very well just might end with himself dying, and a man with his face, living on in his place. With a raising push of his wings and a gust of air, Nickle was off, soaring over the crowds, keyblades in hand.

So, after all I did for you to try make you feel like your own person, it still comes down to you needed to do it your own way. The problem is, this time, you took it for granted that I wouldn't intervene.

His blues eyes looked towards the horizon and he became a blue, winged bolt, rocketing towards the Third District.

Lavender nodded as she observed the reactions of the assembled Arcadians. It appeared that all those present made their choices clear - they would stand together as a team in this final assault. Together they would stand, and together they would fall. Of course, Lavender certainly didn't hope for the latter - she'd failed in her duty to keep these kids safe, and she certainly didn't wish to fail again; but the aeromancer wasn't about to kid herself when it comes to the extent of her abilities - this was one promise she knew she wouldn't be able to keep. With the Arcadians assembled and ready, all that was needed was a strategy, a battle plan. First things first, they would need to discover how to access the world that the Nobodies were based in.

"I just want to get this straight," Lavender addressed the Arcadians once more, both using her voice and over the Arcadian link. "I have no intention of turning this into a suicide run, but chances are we won't be speaking to one another again until this campaign is over." Lavender folded her arms across her chest, pausing momentarily to gather her thoughts.

"So I say this to all of you," The aeromancer scanned the assembled Arcadians. "If you have any last wishes or thoughts upon your minds you wish to speak of, feel free to do so. You know, anything you wish to get off your chests, or something you want to confide in with your friends, all the works." Lavender's gaze swept across the ranks of Arcadians, but appeared to rest momentarily upon Yumi, as if singling out the girl from amidst her fellow Arcadians.

"Anyway, I-" Lavender's rhetoric was cut short by a sharp burst of sound followed by an explosion on the ground near where Hiro stood. It wasn't so much of a missed shot as Hiro managing to block the shot with a magical barrier.

"Whoa! Whoa! Chill out!" Jen cried out, but found her voice getting drowned out amidst the fever pitch Hiro apparently whipped the crowd into a fervor with the order to pursue a black-cloaked figure on the run towards the Third District who was apparently responsible for the earlier attempt on the teacher's life. "Has it ever occurred to any of you that this could be a possible trap? A crafty diversion attempt to draw the lot of you into a situation where the enemy forces might hold an advantage?" Jen stood dumbly when she realized that no one seemed to pay her any heed.

"Verdammt es!" The purple-haired girl tugged at her hair in frustration, before realizing that Shadows have appeared. As a Shadow lunged at her Jen responded swiftly with an open-handed strike to its chest, smashing the heel of her palm into where would be the solar plexus on a human, her strike knocking the Heartless off its feet and onto its back. It was a death punch used by practicioners of Ninjitsu, Jujitsu, Krav Maga and several other martial arts the girl had read up on - a rather simple trick really, a powerful blow to the chest compresses the opponent's ribcage and squeezes the heart within, which has the possibility of stopping the heart and leading to death. Of course, Jen had no idea what Heartless biology was like, so she didn't know what effect the blow would have.

"You heard the other leader," Lavender relayed to the Arcadians as she shot upwards into the air on a blast of wind. "We give chase! However..."

"I suspect a possibility of the enemy planning a trap for us - only half of us will give chase; the remaining half of us will remain on standby outside the Third District and await further instructions from me." That being said, Lavender took off after the cloaked figure.

For Selene, her option was to follow Lavender and Hiro. "I summon... Wyvern!" Selene drew her ritual dagger and drew blood from her hand, painting a set of runes for a Circle of Summoning. With a roar, a Wyvern emerged from the center of the glowing spell circle that appeared, jumping onto the summoned drake's back. "Anyone need a lift?" The Briton offered as the Wyvern flapped its wings, warming itself up for flight.

Something she wanted to get off her chest...?

She thought about everything that had happened, everything she'd done, everything she was fighting for, and thought about which one of those she would want to be remembered for, if she died in this battle today. She took a deep breath, about to say something when a shot rang out through the area. Chizu looked up, all those thoughts lost as she saw Hiro block the shot. Her fists clenched as she looked around for the would-be assassin.

There!

She watched as a figure in a black cloak ran for it, just as the Heartless started popping up. Chizu cursed out loud in both English and Japanese, and probably would have added in a third language if she knew one. She held out her left hand, summoning her second keyblade. Chizu's arm moved through the air in a quick arc, the keyblade bisecting a Shadow that was stupid enough to jump for her.

She took off towards Third District at a run, and was already a few feet away from the rest of the Arcadians when she heard Lavender issue orders.

Chizu, it's probably a trap, said Aether as she ran.

I know.

You're running right into it.

Figured that out all on your own?

So what if it was a trap? Either way, she was going to fight her way out of it. Besides, she didn't see any other way they were getting to the Nobodies. She ran, her body a black and white blur as she bent down against the wind, extending her hands behind her. She was still visible, though. The speed she had gained after the fight with Kinclex was only good in short bursts--like say, in a fight. And she wasn't going to waste it here.

Oxkito wasn't the fight she was looking for.

"Hey," she said over the Arcadia connection as she ran. She hadn't forgotten Lavender's earlier question. "...I spent two years trying to get revenge for someone or another. My sister. My boyfriend. It took me to some pretty dark places. That's not going to happen again."

--------

Something to say? Star really didn't have that much to say about herself. Nothing she wanted to confess, and when it came right down to it, she didn't really have anything she really wanted to be remembered for. But...last words? How dramatic. If she could help it, she didn't want to think about the possibility that she might die here. But it was a possibility. Jameson had proved that. Ein had proved that. And whoever the other dead guy was had proved that as well.

Fortunately, she didn't have to think about it, because that was the moment that someone decided to take a shot out of Hiro. Star's eyes widened. "Oh, now that's just cheap!" she said, lowering her keyblade as the Nobody ran away. Wait a second! She glanced towards the Nobody suddenly, her eyes widening.

"Lavender!" she said, "I think that was Nine!" Which just went to show that when people said that they didn't have Hearts, they couldn't be trusted. She listened to Lavender's orders and nodded, watching as Chizu charged ahead, as usual, before Lavender could even finish talking. She turned towards Selene.

"We do!" she said, waving her hand in the air as she summoned her second keyblade and ran over to the Wyvern. She nodded at Meglumar. "We'll wait outside Third District," she told Selene as she climbed on. "Just drop us off there." She realized she had neglected to ask Meglumar what he wanted to do, so she turned around to face him, the look on her face telling him that if he wanted to join the fight without her, it would be okay.
