NICE DRIVE!
Bells resounded throughout Traverse Town signalling that something important was happening. It was times like these that all interested denizens of the city would converge in the center of the First District at the town square for whatever the matter was; usually it was the Heartless ravaging another world.

However, this time it was different. Those that would arrive to answer the bells' call wouldn't find a Gate already set to another world in need of aid nor would they find someone from the Order, Neo-Arcadia or even the Fairy Tail Guild Hall. Instead, they would find a small makeshift podium raised from the ground so that one might speak to a large crowd and still be heard and leaning on said podium was none other than Hiro Tsukasa.

To many he would simply seem a random single man that had never been seen before in the city or perhaps glimpsed from time to time passing by in another World. To those from Hyakuji they would reconize him as their long missing Teacher of Supernatural Studies as well as the former leader of Arcadia. Hiro was sure that anyone from Hyakuji that arrived would be curious to hear where he had been, but it was hardly a focus on his mind.

He had reviewed the files Lavender Smith had given to him. Organization XIII; they were truly powerful. Though it wasn't yet clear how much even its members knew of whatever this Xemnas fellow was plotting Hiro still knew they would prove a formidable road block on the way to finding the truth to what was going on.

Now that he knew everything Hiro wasn't content with the idea of everyone waiting around any longer. It was one thing before. Before it didn't really matter how long they played around in whatever game Xemnas had cooked up. However, now people had died because of it; no more games.

"This is gonna be a mess," Hiro mumbled to himself as he let out a soft sigh. People would start arriving soon probably in droves. Fairy Tail was already coming in the distance having been informed directly from the Guild Master, Lavender had surely called out to all those in Arcadia by now and Hiro knew that soon the rest of Traverse Town's residents would gather as well.

It was time; time for the truth to be revealed and time to mount a final stand against Xemnas and Organization XIII.

This was it.

Standing at the center of the quickly-growing crowd was a man Taiga knew not and Ayane resented. He was the first enemy she'd made on her first day in Hyakuji, a man who she simultaneously hated and respected. He was Hiro Tsukasa, both her homeroom teacher and the Professor of Supernatural Studies. Not shockingly, he too had survived the dimensional tears and now stood before everyone. Was he trying to play cool amidst this chaos? Why was he trying to be a leader? She didn't know that much. Unlike others of Hyakuji, she had never been deep enough in the school's twisted politics to truly understand what a figure Hiro Tsukasa was.

However, there was one thing both she and Taiga felt. Regardless of the powers in their Hearts or the lack thereof, this was the last step. Everyone here felt it. Ayane could tell that while the majority of people standing in this city center were enLightened, there were a decent number who resonated with her own impurities. She was not the only one who had chosen the Darker path, though merely walking the same path didn't mean their intentions were the same.

For Ayane, this feeling... this was what she'd been waiting for. This was what all the suffering, all the sacrifice, all the Heartbreak, all the injuries... this was what she would receive in return. A chance to follow through with her plan, a chance to take all of her Darkness and stab the Heart of the being who took Hyakuji away with it. A chance to destroy everything that created this horrible world-that-should-never-have-been and restore it to the great city it once was. More than ever, she was confident in her powers. For a third time, she would have a hand in saving Hyakuji from ultimate destruction.

No... more than that. She would bring it back from the grave, revive it like a great Phoenix! And maybe... just maybe... she and I may walk the same path even with differing Hearts, Ayane thought, clenching her fist to keep the twisted blade within at bay. Aisia... maybe this time, we can finally fight together. Finally... we can fight for the same thing.

Meanwhile, there was someone who wouldn't join the growing mass. She stood on the balcony fitted to the back of her dimensionally-travelling train, staring from afar at the makeshift podium and the unfamiliar man standing atop it.

"Are you sure it's okay not to be with everyone else?" Ryuuji asked, merely a spirit form standing behind her. As long as he remained onboard the ZeroLiner he could retain a physical form... but lately it was wearing down. He wasn't fully solid anymore.

"It's fine," replied his charge, who stood with an unreadable expression holding her trusty bokken over her shoulder. Was she angry? Depressed? In thought? That's what made it unreadable. There was no answer in her face or her words. "I'm not... one of them."

"We're still going to help... aren't we?"

Taiga Aisaka looked away from the crowd, staring down at the railing. "Of course. It's our duty, isn't it? And we'll get home when this is over, won't we?"

Ryuuji furrowed his eyebrows and said nothing.

"...I've been thinking," Taiga started, leaning into the railing now. "What if when everything is set right... we can't get home? What if our world wasn't supposed to exist?"

Once more, Ryuuji stayed silent, though his fists did clench.

"It sounds silly... coming from someone who travels through time and space, doesn't it...

"I'm sorry, Taiga..."

Taiga chuckled once and shook her head. "It's fine. I didn't expect you to know. Guess we get to find out the hard way, eh?"

No more would the two lost time travellers speak. They instead gazed back out into the plaza waiting for someone else to speak for them. What would that man say? Where were they going? To the past? To another dimension? Or... back to the future?

The tolling of bells in the centre of a town was never a good sign in times like these, and today would be no different. Where the usual hustle and bustle of the suburban streets would echo with laughter and gossip, it was now replaced with screams of terror and the pounding of feet as people either rallied to the square or ran to the hills. It was towards the source of this commotion that Saito Hiraga ran, coming to a halt next to a very familiar tiny girl wearing glasses with his sword already drawn.

"Well, Isuzu, never thought I'd see the day, but here we are. What do you think's going on?" he said with raised eyebrows, gesturing towards both the podium and the tired-looking man leaning on it. It wasn't every day that someone rang the bells without an actual Heartless attack or counter-attack going on, so finding out just what the situation was was the first order of business.

Even if it did mean talking to Ayane.

The bells. They were ringing. Cassandra Evers, formerly level 3 Esper from Academy City, cracked her knuckles and ran towards the sound with a fanged grin. She had no idea...no recollection of how much time had passed since the first step she had taken in this world and now, but she had used every moment of that time to its fullest. Her powers, once only useful to form mundane ice sculptures and move water around, were a lot more powerful now...a lot more deadly. And when she was able to return back home, she would bring back her friends and set herself up as one of the strongest espers in Academy City. The surging feeling in her heart...that was her destiny calling to her. Fame, glory, and the refreshing feeling of stamping a defeated foe's face under your foot.

She wondered what the problem was this time. Another Heartless invasion? Some sort of alert? Whatever it was, it meant trouble...trouble that could hopefully be easily annihilated and bring her one step closer to her goal. She would have many stories to tell her friends back home.

However, when she arrived at the spot, she only saw a man standing behind a podium. She skidded to a halt, blinking in surprise and clenching her hands into fists. 'Dammit, I was hoping for something actually...fun. Useful. Anything. Not this loser behind a podium. How is he supposed to help me?'

Still, there had to be a reason why they rang the bells. She would be patient and wait. And if whatever he said didn't satisfy her...well, there were always other Heartless to kill. She smirked and folded her arms, waiting for this big announcement.

---

"Ari! We have to hurry! People might be in trouble!" Miku Hachune said frantically as she tugged on her Mistress's hand. Running through the streets of the First District in Traverse Town, the songstress and her robot had just finished patrolling the Second District. Using their martial abilities as well as a song or two, they had pretty much cleaned out any Heartless they came across. It was their job to do such things, after all.

"Stop pulling so hard, Miku! You're going to tear my arm off!" Arietta protested as she tried her best to keep up with the hyperactive android, stumbling slightly on the cobblestone road. Even with all the time that the two had spent together, Arietta never got used to her Vocaloid, the machine she had piloted for years as an agent for Crypton, was the same human-sized android that currently had a look of worry on her face. She wondered if Miku would be the same when they returned back home. Perhaps this world's effects would fade...

It was a saddening thought. She had gotten used to being able to talk with the AI and her childish nature, now slightly more tempered with knowledge and wisdom, was refreshing. She privately hoped that the AI would still maintain that sense of innocence...although how an AI could even achieve that sort of feeling was still mysterious.

The two arrived on the scene with hundreds of others who had answered the call of the bells. Finding themselves in the middle, they both strained to look at who was standing behind that podium. Arietta noticed the man first, pointing him out to her friend. "Hey...isn't that Hiro?"

"The former leader of Arcadia? He certainly looks like Hiro..." Miku pulled off her ribbons, forming them into a holographic screen that displayed a picture of the renowned leader. "Yeah, there he is...He was a very great man according to the Arcadia officers. I wonder why he's doing this."

"Well...all we can do now is just watch and wait." Arietta heaved a sigh. "And hope that nothing bad is happening."

Looks like you need a lil' sense knocked into ya. I'd be happy to help.
The chime of the bell was something had quickly grown used to, meaning a heartless attack on another world or something. He usually stayed out of it but for some reason this certain gathering had called to him, as if it was something he needed to attend for the betterment of something. And so, he set off from the Tavern basement he was staying at, telling Yuki, ordering her to stay behind where it would be safe if anything bad were to happen. Grabbing his Bokudo and his hoodie Adam set off in a dash towards the center of the first district.

The clacking of converse echoed noisily down the alleyway shortcuts as he slipped his hoodie on, pulling the left arm sleeve down over his arm as he approached the gathering mass. As he pushed through into the group to get a better view of the in front of the his eyes cocked a bit, "Isn't that..." He muttered under his breath, continuing the statement within his mind, 'Isn't that... A teacher from Hyakuji?'

Did that mean this guy was trying to gather up the students and teachers in the area. Was something going to be done to try and get back what was lost? He calmed his mind a bit, taking in a deep breath. Whatever it was he'd join in, Mike would kill him if he found out Adam had the chance to do something right and only did nothing.

Zander adjusted his glasses from atop a nearby roof. He sat, both legs hanging over the edge, looking down on the people Jameson had deemed worthy of driving himself to the brink of death for. He knew that these people were going to take action against the nobodies but he saw no reason to involve himself. They'd surely win with or without him, even the nobodies only had so much power...

Even so he had showed up, to evaluate Hyakuji and determine what kind of people there were. Not only that but he was interested in how well they worked together. Arcadia was Jameson's dream.. He wanted to see if that dream had any reality under this leader. That was the reason he had come.. As Zander Winston. That was the logical reason.

However, on some level the Oliver within him just wanted to not be alone at this time. Jameson's death meant the one island of familiarity he'd expected in Hyakuji was gone. He was isolated beyond anything he'd ever felt before. Even sitting apart, by being here he felt less alone than he had for a while.. "Hyakuji..High.." He said to himself. "Why were you more important to Jameson than his own life..?"

"Wow, it sure is busy today huh?" Jennifer Chase, aka. Jen mused amid the tolling of the bells. The purple-haired girl knew what this meant, having heard this alarm before - there at the center of the town would be a gateway leading to a world under siege from the Heartless, ready for emergency response from the various heroes who'd taken up residence in Traverse Town. Now this was going to be exciting; Jen didn't know why, but this one felt different from the other previous times the alarms went off. Of course, she wouldn't know why unless she checked it out.

Wearing an enthusiastic grin on her face, Jen put away the spare parts and locked up the kiosk she'd set up in the First District where till now she had been provided repair services for the town's various residents. Packing up her bags with her gizmos and gadgets, Jen followed the crowds who were heading for the town's center. She was mildly surprised to find that instead of a gate, there, standing on top of a makeshift podium was a man. "So... you're going to hold a public rally or something?" Jen asked before looking around.

"Well, look who's here too!" The purple-haired girl exclaimed in delight as another girl with purple hair stepped forth, it was none other than Lavender herself!

Lavender smiled and nodded to acknowledge Hiro's presence, giving him a salute to let the sorcerer know that she had arrived on the scene. The aeromancer's expression became more serious as she stood quietly waiting for what Hiro had to say. She'd more or less gotten over the shock and pain of learning of Jameson's apparent death at this point, and knew full well what needed to be done. Or rather, she knew that while the dead would be suitably honored after battle, now was the time for neither tears nor mourning.

Lavender wondered how many of her Arcadian operatives would respond to the call she sent out. For now, only time will tell. The aeromancer took a deep breath to steady herself - all her training, all her experience, will it all be enough? To have come this far, to play a hand in the salvation of the multiverse - one thing Lavender knew at this point, she had no regrets.

"Selene Frostfire, reporting in!" A redheaded Briton stepped up next to Lavender, her flowing lilac and white Arcadian field uniform rustling with her movements as Selene joined the assembly, eliciting a nod from the aeromancer as a response. That was a good start, but Lavender knew she'd need more than just Hiro, herself and Selene. For now she continued to wait and see if more Arcadians would arrive.

"Tsukasa-sensei!" Selene exclaimed as she gazed up upon the man who stood at the podium. While she attended Takeshi-sensei's home room, Hiro was the one who taught the supernatural studies classes, as well as the leader she was under in Arcadia, before mysteriously vanishing along with Hyakuji in the wake of the world's destruction. It was certainly an inspiring sight to see Hiro standing tall and proud above the crowd. In this time of darkness, he'd returned as a beacon of guiding light, a ray of hope.

Selene scanned the crowd in search of more familiar faces - who else might be here along with her? Anymore people she'd known from Hyakuji? It had been such a long time since Hyakuji survivors had such a mass gathering, since that time in the hotel... but it felt strange, and Selene soon realized why - where was Jameson? This whole event certainly appeared important, and if the original and current leaders of Arcadia were here, where was Jameson? Was he not the co-leader along with Lavender? More importantly, if Hiro had returned, who would be the one now in charge?

"Saito-san! Ayane-san!" Selene called out as she noticed Saito in the crowd, waving as she left Lavender's side to walk towards the two of them. "It's good to see you two again!" Selene broke into a run as she approached, covering the gap between them.

Do the right thing...
That's funny. I swear to God I recognize that guy. Isn't he...a teacher?

JP now stood amongst the crowd, scanning about with his Planar Combat Visor. He was here by mere coincidence (or at least, he figured he was), but was indeed glad he showed up. If anything were to happen in regards to Heartless, now would be it. The first district was supposedly safe (in a manner of speaking. Heavy incursions were rare, if any). But would a portal show up here? Hopefully not?

The tolling bells made him feel excited. That was for sure. A part of him felt that being in the crowd was dangerous, but another part told him that it was actually the safest to blend in to. An attack might land there, but otherwise, he would go unnoticed. Again, he understood nothing about these other people's allegiances, so he didn't want to take any extra risk.

Miyuki was never the sort who liked crowds. They were occasionally useful when a need to get away arose, blending into one and silently slipping off, but they weren't really something she liked being part of.

Of course, being able to see and hear better than most people also alleviated the need to be in the crowd in this case, sitting on a rooftop abreast of the podium. She could still hear it clearly enough through the noise of the crowd, with the benefit of not having to actually be WITHIN the crowd and thus having to deal with that cacophony close up.

"Calling for everyone like this... how typical of him." she mused, talking to her companion on the rooftop. "He certainly hasn't changed has he, Kouta?"

The soft chink chink sound of Kaneryuu banging gently against Nickle's back was drowned out momentarily by the loud gongs of Traverse Town's bells. The electromancer was not at the Town Center, but he had been wanting to take that route as a shortcut to the Second District. He ahd dressed for combat. Thick ash-grey boots that closed via zippers, that ended mid-way of the shin. His loose blue cargo pants were tucked inside the boots and held in place by his belt. The belt itself was a thick brown piece of leather and the buckle was simply a large semi-circle with patterns on it.

Nickle normally didn't wear anything like this, but he had felt that maybe he'd like a change of style. He was wearing a sleeveless, blue, turtleneck top and ash-grey shoulder armour that was held in place by brown suspenders. It was rather an odd site, what was more odd is that he had decided to style his hair differently today, as it was now spiked backwards with only a small fringe falling over his forehead.

His attire aside however, his sapphire eyes were now concerned as he looked at the bell tower. Who was calling a down meeting?

Breaking into a short run, Nickle arrived at the town square in a matter of moments, only to see a familiar face upon the speaking podium. Nickle took a shallow breath, releasing it a second later. If Hiro-senpai was going to be the one to speak, then he had a feeling that it was going to be a lot more than just a feel good concert...

Looking around, Nickle then spotted a familiar purple haired esper amongst the crowd. He moved over to Lavender, tapping her gently on the shoulder in greeting. "What's this all about?" Apparantly Nickle had been ignoring his Arcadia link altogether.

"Heh, you got that right. It's good seeing him again though...proof that a number of people were to escape Hyakuji is comforting." Kouta mused, spotting a couple of familiar faces in the crowd (using binoculars of course, not actually having the better senses his partner had) that was showing up. Still, it was proof that it was Hiro at least: no other man was able to actually grab so many people with name alone, it was something Kouta actually respected him for.

However, unlike his partner he wasn't observing from atop a roof. Instead, Kouta was sitting cross-legged atop a giant, flying mechanical beetle: Kouta's faithful ally/pet, the Gouram. While Kouta actually didn't mind crowds, part of him was just afraid a certain someone would be there and he wasn't quite willing to actually attempt making amends with said person just yet.

Unlike a certain pair of Riders on the rooftop, Kazuna was down below amongst the crowd. It was amazing how many people showed up at the mere mention of Hiro's name. Either way, she ended up finding herself lost in the sea of people around, not particularly able to recognize anyone but at the same time she at least knew where some of the other Riders were.

"...Maybe I should go Jack Form and meet up with Kouta and Miyuki-sempai..."

Now, let's play together...under the clearest of blue skies.
"It's Hiro...!" Erin said in amazement. She hadn't seen him for months. It really is him... Erin didn't know what had happened that had made him come out of hiding, or what it was that made him go into hiding in the first place. But she was glad that he was back. Lavender and Nickle are here too...and some other people... She didn't recognize everyone, though a lot of people she had at least seen once before. When you're running around between a dozen or so worlds, it's hard to keep up with your contacts. Erin put her arm way above her head and waved hello to Hiro, hoping he would see her.

Well it was about time.

Damon walked out, hooded cloak on as always. With any luck this was going to be an assault on those damned Nobodies. At first he was hesitant to include himself in Chizu's bias, but after ONE battle with them, he agreed wholeheartedly with her.

He was silent as he arrived, watching on. So the old supernatural studies teacher, and former leader of Arcadia, had indeed returned. This was going to be an interesting turn of events. So many people were coming. It seemed that this was likely the case.

Goody.

~*~*~*~*~

Meglumar took a deep breath as he arrived. This wasn't good. All of Arcadia being called in and the bells ringing now? Was this another attack on worlds? He didn't know. Not for sure. He'd been distracted due to the constant battles and the like.

His sword and Ein's former sword were on his belt. The Skydragon Emblem being worn like a belt-buckle. The Z-Saber R in his pocket. He focused and changed into his Neo Arcadian garb, looking on. He saw someone he recognized. One of the Hero persons. Of which there were, like.....5000. Or at least that is what it seemed like to him, having seen him or his alternates or whatever.

Look at his little dance
Erin's Skyboard skidded in through the air as it brought him near the center of town. He was just coming back from outside the city, through one of the Chaos Gates. It didn't really seem like a good idea to be anywhere right now. He felt pretty good, but... He didn't really know what was going on. It was probably something important. The message hadn't been very specific. He just knew he was supposed to be here.

Pulling the board up under his arm Erin Sansai took a deep breath. It was time... Something big was about to go down and he had to be here for it. He really didn't think he wanted to be here. Well, he was here and he had to just move forward. That was all there was to it. He strode toward the others.

He saw Hiro and a grin cracked across his lips for just a moment. Alright. Things were looking up. If that guy was here then they would definitely be alright. He nodded to himself. "Yeah, we're gonna be alright." His hands balled into fists. He was just nervous because he didn't know what was going on. He uncurled them.

He looked around and saw quite a few familiar faces, though he couldn't help noticing Jameson's absents. Well, that guy was strong as hell so he was probably fine. It was a big crowd after all.

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
"So....it has come at last. And I thought we would never be able to get into this area." SH said coolly, moving with the crowd of people upon entering the First District. For some odd reason, whenever he attempted to meet with the leaders of the other rumored organizations in this town, he was immediately teleported into an unknown location for a few days. Which was troublesome considering he had vital information about the Nobodies that he needed to discuss, as well as the deal that the ONB made with one of them.

"I'll say. Even the trash is rich in taste." Kyra cheerfully exclaimed, consuming a garbage can filled with rotten, fly-infested food and discarded electronics. Even though she was a navi, her virus side insisted on eating junk.

"Excuse me, pardon me, coming through." SH apologized and ordered bluntly, attempting to make his way through the people. In his left hand was a heavy tan suitcase, which had a video projector with a AA battery inside.

Even before the bells rang out, he and a bunch of Techies shipped from Netopia were hard at work at the Third District Encampment Site. Which incidentally, was a ONB Hot Zone designed for the sole purpose of exploring the worlds and bringing aid to it's people. Netto and Randy had done a superb job of gathering information on the Nobodies, all the names and faces were now lined up accordingly. But what was most important was the anagramming of each name, without the X.

If this assembly brought the leaders of the hidden organizations out, he'll be able to present his findings to them as well as the plan for 'remerging' the two halves. From what he heard from those two 'alien' girls in his world, many of the people here were just kids from a school-oriented world which was taken by the Heartless. Which meant that if the ONB assisted in getting them back home, the EXE world will 'annex' Traverse Town and it's portals as a Colony Nation. The thought of unlimited resources and access to untapped, highly advanced technology would spur his world into a new age of prosperity and peace.

However, there was still no intel on the Heartless. Even though he was just an observer, searching for whoever leads the Orgaizations, he would make a point of asking the person on the podium about where the Heartless come from and how to turn them back into humans again. There was no room for theories right now, SH needed the facts for a successful mission.
