Zander walked slowly into the bar. His eyes darted around the room. Since the clusterfuck of an attack that was now formally known as the "Hiro Calamity" had resolved itself Hiro had been less hidden. However Zander still felt the man was rather undeserving of Jameson's last written document. He couldn't imagine what the man had done to be so revered. As far as he could find from his research he was just a lecherous art teacher with a knack for spells. Well, there might be more to him than Zander could uncover, but he somehow doubted it. 'Or Perhaps that is just you being an asshole because your two favorite people just died?' Oliver pressed forward into the crowd. His eyes focused on nothing in particular. Instead he was just scanning the room. However very soon he found the man he'd set his sights on. Well, this wasn't his preferred venue for such a thing but he dealt with what he had. At least bars were loud enough that surveillance was practically impossible. 'Not that it's necessary or relevant, yeesh, paranoia will destroy-ya'.' Zander moved quickly towards the man, easily gliding through the crowd. He was adept at maneuvering in crowded places, one of many skills he had learned through the years. He took a moment to hang back, inspecting the surroundings. When he was satisfied everything was clear he moved in. "Tsukasa..?" |

"And so then.... DRAGON SLAVE!!!" Hiro Tsukasa proclaimed loudly as Zander pulled near the table he sat at with Hiro speaking mid-story. Several loud laughs echoed through the Guild Hall as everyone crowded around the table roared in enjoyment; several slapping the table loudly in enjoyment. The two women on either side of Hiro laughed in unison each leaning in closer to the Sorcerer. "What then?" A Fairy Tail Mage across the table asked in sincere curiosity as he leaned in closer on the table. "Well," Hiro began slowly but then paused as the unfamiliar person that had approached the table called out his last name, "Errr, hold on everyone... someone else take a turn, I can't be the only one with tall tales." As a few aww'ed in disappointment Hiro Tsukasa excused himself from the group, rose from the table and approached Zander slowly. "I don't think we've met," Hiro began in a friendly tone, "But can I help you somehow?" |

"I was asked to deliver this message from Jameson..." He said reaching into his pocket and retrieving a piece of paper that had been folded into a tiny square. He handed it over to Hiro and let out a long breath. "I have to reach the leadership of Arcadia. I have important news regarding the circumstances surrounding Jameson's... Jameson's presumed death and the Nobodies.." He turned to face Hiro. "Jameson asked me to give you that as his last action. I hope you appreciate that in some way. I hope whatever it says it means something to you." He said leaning forward. "Sorry if I interrupted your merrymaking with the real world full of real trouble going on around you." He said with a glare. The note read as follows.. To Hiro Zander eyed the man, folding his arms. "I guess I'm done here. I've got to go speak with the leader of Arcadia.." He said turning and heading towards the exit. "Enjoy you drinks.." He said idly as he walked away. |

Hiro Tsukasa frowned in slight annoyment at Zander's accusing tone. He didn't know what Hiro had just been through; it was barely his first time in public again in ages, the merrymaking was well deserved. However, the mention of Jameson and death troubled Hiro. Who was this person before him? Was it a joke? Jameson was too tenacious to fold in to death that easily. Quickly Hiro snatched the letter from Zander and began to read slowly:
Hiro crumpled up the letter sloppily almost as if clutching it desperately; his eyes had teared up but he held his head low to mask this from the crowded Guild Hall. Why? This wasn't how things were supposed to be. He'd finally come to terms with things and one of the many things Hiro had wanted to do was apologize to Jameson and make things right between him. The letter sounded like he'd reach much of the same conclusions Hiro had, but it still wasn't enough.... Hiro wanted him to know from his end as well; not just an assumption. And why did he have to die? He was still young and had a future. Nobody should have to die for the situation to be resolved but it was too late. It was almost too much for Hiro to grasp; Jameson was really dead and he'd never get the chance to make amends with him like he'd wanted. Hiro Tsukasa knew what he had to do now. "Wait," Hiro called after Zander as he took off after him catching up quickly as he pushed past several Guild Members, "I'm the Leader of Arcadia. And I'm coming with you to speak to the interim Leader." |

"...." Zander sighed, "What, am I forming a ragtag band of misfits here..?" He said in a dull monotone. "Fine fine, come on." He said motioning for the man to follow him. "I can't believe you were sad over his death. Jameson always called you the worst sort of ass, and a coward, and a lecher, and a self-absorbed nihilist, and..." Several minutes later they had ascended the tower. "He said you sense of fashion was a bit askew, that one I found odd, he claimed you were a pedophile, He said you had sex with students, and he mentioned once you were ... and I quote here, 'A total failure as the leader of Arcadia and as an instructor of children.' I mean to sum it up he hated you quite a bit... Or rather he got really intensely mad at you.." He trailed off... "I wonder what he expected from you anyways?" He said. "Sorry if my opinion of you is quite soured because of this, but Jameson was a good friend.." He laughed. "I guess I'm being nostalgic.." He said before knocking on the door to Lavender's office. Inside her office, Lavender leaned back in her desk as she surveyed the multiversal map on her computer's monitor, displaying the status of the various worlds thus far. Shinya had been sealed off, Niwa was sealed off, Florencia was destroyed - clearly, they were all part of bigger things to come. And then there was Jameson's report about a new realm being discovered. Lavender had wished she could be there to lead Jameson's scouting mission to that world, but due to circumstances beyond her control the aeromancer ended up leaving the detective to handle it on his own. She hadn't heard from him since, and Lavender was getting a little edgy at this point. What had Jameson discovered? His report was long overdue, and all attempts to reach him via the Arcadian connection had been unsuccessful. Lavender took a sip of tea from a ceramic mug on her desk. What if he ran into trouble? When she took up the reins of leadership in Hiro's absence she'd vowed to keep the children of Hyakuji safe until their home could be reclaimed - or die trying. She didn't want to think even for a moment she'd failed in keeping her vow. Should she summon the rest of Arcadia over? Should a search and rescue operation be attempted? Lavender looked up at the door to her office upon hearing a series of knocks. Who could it be? Was Star coming over to bring her usual round of crazy antics? Or is it Damon submitting the latest batch of reports? Or is Jameson back? Taking a deep breath, Lavender straightened her tie before replying, "Do enter." |

"Nah, that sounds like him," Hiro smirked with a slight laugh as they reached the door, "Black and white to a fault; I wouldn't have it any other way." Moments later a voice beckoned them to enter in reply to Zander's knocking and Hiro cocked an eyebrow slowly in curiosity. Hadn't he mentioned going to the leader of Neo-Arcadia alongside Jameson? But it was a woman? Hiro opened the door slowly and entered holding it open for Zander to follow through as he turned his head to gaze at the source of the voice. Neo-Arcadia's surviving Leader wasn't just a woman; she was a beautiful woman! No, even that was an understatement; she was breathtaking! Hiro had no clue who the woman was, but he easily guessed she wasn't from Hyakuji's World. It seemed save Fairy Tail that the only others who'd be spared the world's fate were in Hyakuji and he knew he'd remember someone like her even if it had been but a glance. "Ah," Hiro began with a bit of a nervous hint to his voice as he introduced himself, "Hiro Tsukasa, Miss. And this is..." Hiro's words trailed off slowly to allow Zander to introduce himself. Truth be told the man that brought the letter from Jameson had yet to give a name for himself so even if he'd wanted to he had no name to give for his companion. |

"My name isn't Relevant." Zander said matter-of-factly. "I guess you can call me Zander Winston. I have come from The World That Never Was on Jameson's behalf.. I was trapped there since the world's collapsed. I have been hiding out in secret and recovering small scraps of information. That is until today when I made my move on the Tower of Naught... "It seems... The tower has a prisoner. Miss Ayumi, she is the principle of your school, no? Well she told us Xemnas is keeping her hostage as she is the key to the kingdom hearts. He keeps this information even from the other nobodies and was going to kill me. And that's when Jameson and the nobody of my former mentor, Cypriss, arrived. It seems Cypriss had recovered the destroyed Arc Angel Dimension Driver and opened a gate here from their world. While no dimension driver can form a gate to the nobody world, having a gate on both sides was enough to open the way. It seems Cypriss had lured Jameson to that world in hopes of slipping the information.. My... My.." He looked down at the ground, grinding his teeth. "My sudden intrusion ruined it all though and revealed us. The two told me and my partner to come here and leave them behind to hold him off. As we were leaving I felt Jameson's powers wavering. I hold no false hopes of his survival.. Zander stared at the woman. "Xemnas is at the heart of all this, and Kingdom Hearts is not being used as he told you it was.. What you all do with this information is your concern, I have delivered it as requested.." He stepped back. "This seems like a conversation for you two. If there are no more questions I'll excuse myself and wait in the hallway.." He was an agent, a subordinate, he had debriefed his superiors to the best of his ability, now it was their time to put it all into place. |

Lavender's eyes widened briefly as one of the men inside her office introduced himself as Hiro Tsukasa. "Hiro... Tsukasa..." Lavender smiled and nodded at Hiro, slowly rising from her seat as she did so. Standing before her was none other than the man and the legend. She didn't know much about him, however, aside from some Arcadians' accounts and archived files from the Arcadia mansion. "It's an honour to meet you, Tsukasa-san. I am Lavender Smith, and as you may have heard by now, I am leading Arcadia in your absence. It pleases me to see you back here in these halls." That being said, Lavender gave Hiro a salute - more of a GLADIUS practice than an Arcadia one, but Hiro could probably tell from the tan-colored dress uniform worn by Lavender that the aeromancer came from a military background. There was a slight pause as Hiro allowed the other man to speak. "My name isn't relevant," The other man began. "I guess you can call me Zander Winston. I have come from The World That Never Was on Jameson's behalf.. I was trapped there since the world's collapsed. I have been hiding out in secret and recovering small scraps of information. That is until today when I made my move on the Tower of Naught..." "..." Lavender was struck speechless as Zander mentioned what became of Jameson. The aeromancer felt her knees go soft after the initial shock. Lavender continued to put on her calm and professional demeanor, although her fists balling up betrayed how she felt on the inside. She had failed. It was her worst nightmare come through. The aeromancer didn't really catch the part about the Arc Angel's dimension driver, so busy was she at being haunted by painful flashbacks from the past. And suddenly she was back in 1999, a little girl once more, still crushed from the revelation of her father's death in the terrorist bombing incident. And her memories flashed forward to the sight of herself looking at Achilles-sensei in his sightless eyes, resolve and determination painted on her tear-streaked face. "Please, let me join the GLADIUS corps!" She heard herself say. From that day on, she made it part of her life to ensure that those she cared about would not go through what she went through. And it happened. Again. Jameson, more than just a colleague, he was a friend. And he had been snatched away, just like her father. And worse, what of those in Arcadia? Erin, Yumi, and others... he was dear to them, weren't they? How could she possibly face them? "Xenmas is at the heart of all this, and Kingdom Hearts is not being used as he told you it was.. What you all do with this information is your concern, I have delivered it as requested.." With his intended message delivered, Zander stepped back. "This seems like a conversation for you two. If there are no more questions I'll excuse myself and wait in the hallway.." With Zander gone outside, Lavender was left alone with Hiro. "Jameson and I..." Lavender fought to find her words. "We led Arcadia in your absence... we've braved many dangers and stared in the face of certain death... and I can't believe he's gone." It was such a difficult thing to say. "Tsukasa-san... in this time of darkness, Arcadia needs you," Lavender said weakly as she slumped into her chair. She knew she should summon the Arcadians, to warn them about the ruse behind Kingdom Hearts and formulate a plan to engage the Nobodies in a decisive campaign for the fate of the multiverse and all those in it. She couldn't even find the ability to cry, for all intents and purposes Lavender felt emotionally paralyzed as she sat down, staring forward and even though Hiro was standing before her she wasn't making eye contact with the sorcerer or paying him attention. |

"Lavender Smith," Hiro mumbled softly as she introduced herself; her very military-esque salute forcing a grin to his face. Normally, he would've most likely made some quip about the gesture, especially to one so beautiful, but now wasn't the time for it. As he listened to Zander's story Hiro felt little surprise. Though he'd only been directly in the loop of things for a short time since regaining his Magic, Hiro instantly felt there was something more to this Organization than was let on. Moments later Zander bid them farewell and went to wait outside as Hiro glanced back to see Lavender very obviously tore up about everything. Should he comfort her? He had only just met, perhaps that was too soon. No, in truth, it wasn't the time for that. Even though he shared the very same pain and wanted to help the beautiful woman Hiro knew there was something going on now bigger than any of them and their own pain. Clenching his right hand tightly into a fist Hiro Tsukasa marched forward to Lavender's desk and slammed a hand down onto the tabletop. His eyes staring directly at the woman's whether her gaze would return the sentiment or not Hiro began to speak, "It's bigger than Arcadia now. Everyone has been working so hard all this time because they thought they were accomplishing something for the benefit of all, but in truth they were just doing the grunt work for this Xemnas character. And now, because of this guy's will, one of our own has died." "It's unforgivable," Hiro raised his voice as the first obvious notice of hurt could be seen in his visage, "Miss Smith, I know we don't know each other very well but to have worked with Jameson leading Arcadia in my absence I have to believe you're a good person. If you're willing I'd like you to keep helping me lead Arcadia; so that we never lose another member ever again." "But that can wait," Hiro spoke faster almost cutting himself off, "We'll handle the details of Arcadia another time. Xemnas knows we're going to have this information and that probably means he's expecting us. Maybe it's walking into a trap, but we have to end this. Not just Arcadia, all of us." Letting out an angered sigh Hiro turned from the desk and began to walk towards the door as he spoke in sheer determination, "Please, rally all the Arcadians and tell them to meet at the center of Traverse Town. I'm going to speak to Fairy Tail and everyone else I can and assemble all those that have a stake in this. It's time to end this." |

THUMP! Lavender snapped back to her senses at the sound of Hiro slamming his hand on the desk, the aeromancer blinking twice before making eye contact with Hiro. "It's bigger than Arcadia now. Everyone has been working so hard all this time because they thought they were accomplishing something for the benefit of all, but in truth they were just doing the grunt work for this Xemnas character. And now, because of this guy's will, one of our own has died." Lavender took note of Hiro's expression - it was clear that he'd experienced pain and loss just as much as she had to learn of Jameson's death. "I sensed something was fishy right from the start back at Shinya when Xenmas revealed his plan for Kingdom Hearts," Lavender nodded in agreement. "It's unforgivable. Miss Smith, I know we don't know each other very well but to have worked with Jameson leading Arcadia in my absence I have to believe you're a good person. If you're willing I'd like you to keep helping me lead Arcadia; so that we never lose another member ever again." Lavender worked up a faint smile at Hiro's offer - GLADIUS was only offering its backing to Arcadia for this particular incident involving the Heartless; Lavender had indeed grown close to Arcadia and its members - with or without the sponsorship of GLADIUS, she'd certainly be happy to be on the helm alongside Hiro; but that was another issue for another time. At present, the two of them had bigger issues to contend with. "But that can wait," Hiro continued. "We'll handle the details of Arcadia another time. Xemnas knows we're going to have this information and that probably means he's expecting us. Maybe it's walking into a trap, but we have to end this. Not just Arcadia, all of us." Giving an angered sigh, the sorcerer turned from the desk and headed for the door. "Please, rally all the Arcadians and tell them to meet at the center of Traverse Town. I'm going to speak to Fairy Tail and everyone else I can and assemble all those that have a stake in this. It's time to end this." Lavender nodded. "That will be done, however..." Now was as good a time as any - the aeromancer removed a key from one of the pockets on her jacket, unlocking a chest of drawers underneath her desk to remove the envelope the late Thifax had handed to her during their last meeting. With a flick of her finger, Lavender opened up the package with a tiny Saber Gust, reaching inside to remove its contants - a file. Flipping briefly through the contents of the file Lavender couldn't help but muster another smile - they were intel data; information Faith had gathered on the other Nobodies in Organization XIII, save for Xenmas of course. And along with it, a subtext on the Zodiac Stones and the Lucavi - little information exists on it, but what exists seems to point that they were a last resort weapon used to summon demons. "Tsukasa-san," Lavender called out as she left the desk and stopped next to Hiro. "I figured you might want a copy of this information," the aeromancer said as she showed the file to Hiro. |

Hiro paused as Lavender approached with the file and took it gently from her grasp and thumbed through its contents quickly. It seemed to be everything Arcadia had gathered so far on the enemy so it was sure to be useful; especially for Hiro personally as incidentally he was the least informed about the Nobodies and their abilities. "Thank you," Hiro said sincerely, "This is really impressive. I'll be sure to go over it thoroughly." Nodding Hiro Tsukasa gave Lavender a reassuring grin and then reached the door opening it slowly. He'd visit Fairy Tail first and confer with the Guild Master while at the same time review the file for his own knowledge and ultimately for the information to be disseminated to everyone else. "And one more thing," Hiro spoke as he paused just before stepping through the doorway, "We might not speak again before there's fighting. If so, I should say... be careful. It's rare to see a face as pretty as yours and I'd like to see more of it in the future." Smirking in that way only Hiro could he nodded a final farewell and stepped through the door passing on down the hallway giving Zander a friendly nod as he moved towards the main hall in the guild; he'd have to ask to speak to the Guild Master now. There was no time to waste. The time to strike back had come. |

"Thank you," Hiro said sincerely, "This is really impressive. I'll be sure to go over it thoroughly." The sorcerer gently took the file from Lavender. Before he left however, Hiro gave one last word to Lavender. "And one more thing," he said, pausing at the doorway. "We might not speak again before there's fighting. If so, I should say... be careful. It's rare to see a face as pretty as yours and I'd like to see more of it in the future." Lavender smiled warmly at Hiro's statement. "You too, Tsukasa-san." Lavender took a deep breath after the sorcerer left her office to meet up with the Fairy Tail guild. She wondered if she could call upon GLADIUS resources for this one? Focusing her thoughts, Lavender changed into her Arcadia field uniform. The final showdown was underway, and there was no force in the multiverse that could stop them. Lavender broadcast a message to all Arcadian everywhere. "Arcadia, This is commander Lavender. Gather at the center of Traverse Town, the time has come." |
