This place didn't seem so bad... despite the creepy feeling running up Adam's spine, and the random scattering noises that always had Adam whipping around in different directions. He had wondered through here on accident actually while he was trying to look for a few familiar faces. The place was quite, aside from the heartless he had tried to fight but had to end up running away from. His attacks with his Bokudo just seemed to go right through them as if they were just ghosts. And if a hit did manage to make contact they'd just recover from it even when Adam put his stored up resonance behind the attack.

He sat down for a moment on the steps of a building, panting a bit with his head dropped, this was getting annoying how he had to run away from those things. He never really ran away from anything and here he was taking the coward's approach. But then again Mike's words from way back when began to play in his head. In fact the entire moment played out in his head but it was the words that struck him the most.

"Adam, if I teach you anything when we're here it should be that whenever you take on an opponent... you'd better be sure you're gonna win if you wanna stay. If you're not sure, then get the hell out of dodge. There's really no honor or pride in death..."

Adam simply shook his head for a moment staring down at his monster like arm. His cousin's words made since, but it didn't make him feel any better... For a moment he was lost in thought before a noise alerted him. Faster that he'd ever been in his life he raised to his feet and already had the Bokudo pointed in the direction of the noise as he dropped into a ready position with the wooden sword.

Chizu wasn't an idiot. She didn't go into Third District on most days unless she could help it. After Florencia, though, there was something to be said for boredom and the frustration of not being able to do anything. She supposed making sure that people weren't getting torn apart by Heartless while in Third District was as good a use of her time as any. She could do without the constant paranoia, but so far all the Heartless that had come after her had been weaklings.

She sighed and locked her hands behind her head, tilting her face upward so that she could look at the sky. It was always night at Traverse Town. She was beginning to miss the good old fashioned day and night that Hyakuji had. Not enough to move to Niwa, though. Damon would never allow it, and without him funding it, she really didn't have any legal way to live. Her job at the Abenobashi wasn't exactly something she could make a living on.

She kicked a stone out of the way, watching as it skittered down the street.

Chizu stepped out from around a corner and turned to face Adam, blinking when she noticed that he had gotten into a stance and a wooden sword was pointed at her. She placed her hands in front of her, palms outward, in the universal 'I'm not armed' gesture. Not that it would be very comforting if he knew what her powers were, but it was the thought that counted. "Relax," she said, "I'm not gonna hurt you."

Alright, so it wasn't a heartless... that was a relieve at least. He dropped his stance and moved his demonic looking arm behind his back. "Can't be too sure anymore..." He shook his head a bit before returning to sit down on the step and pulled out an old bandage like wrap and began to diligently wrap up his 'Le Angry Arm' as one of his friend's once called it. He probably knew the question that would pop up eventually and figured he'd get it out of the way sooner rather than later.

"Name's Adam... and as for why I'm here... well..." If there was an anime moment, a shadow would be hovering over Adam's head with a large sweat drop rolling down the back of head. "I got lost..." He said simply and straight forward. What was the point of making up some excuse of how he was here hunting heartless. Especially when he was getting his ass stomped by them.

He was almost done wrapping up his arm, all that was left was his fingers, but that was simple, he put a glove on over the wrapped up portion of the hand and voila; the arm looked natural... ish... "So, you got a name?" He spoke as he turned his gaze towards her. Hopefully if she had seen his arm she wouldn't freak... that would be really annoying...

Adrenaline. Jennifer Chase could feel it surging through her as she stopped against the wall of a nearby building to catch her breath. She had to admit - it was pretty exciting, in a gut-wrenching terror as she stared at impending doom sort of way. Still, if those Heartless thought she was a potential victim - they would be mistaken. "I guess here's where you'd say, 'tag you're it!' - if you guys could talk?" Jen mused as a dozen Shadows showed up, half a dozen coming from around the corner of the building and another half a dozen slinking out through the windows.

The purple-haired girl smirked as the Shadows attempted to move in to cut off her escape routes, reaching into her bag as she did so. When it comes to being crazy prepared, Jen was literally a poster girl for the trope as she removed what appeared to be a stick of dynamite; it was a homemade mixture of potassium nitrate - saltpeter, and magnesium. A flare. Taking out a Zippo lighter from her pocket Jen lit the fuse before throwing the stick to the floor, raising a hand over her eyes as she did so.

A dull explosion was heard as the contents of Jen's homemade flare exploded, brightly illuminating her surroundings with a blinding white flash. The Heartless moaned as they cowered under the light that seemed to burn and blind them, allowing Jen to make good her escape. Turning down a narrow alleyway and then making another turn into a main street. As Jen ran down the street two human figures began to draw near from the distance, and as she neared the purple-haired girl smiled upon recognizing one of them.

"Chizu-san!" Jen called out cheerfully as she slowed down to a jog, then a walk, before finally stopping next to the guy and girl. She'd gotten acquainted with the aeromancer when she first met her in the Arcane Sanctum, and knew how capable she is as a fighter during the Florencia, and the both of them were among those who survived the world's destruction. "So what brings you to the Third District? And did you make a new friend today?"

Just why am I doing here?
Oh well, just my big mouth.
Why did I had to volunteered to help?
Looks like that Mad Woman's absence has really make me let my guard down.
Ah! Commander Lavender! Why do you have to ask me to patrol this place?

Ah! Heatless! I just knew it!
Help!!!
The only thing I can do now is run.
Hay! There's a few people over them, perhaps I can go join up.
It's always safer to be with people.

"Hello everyone, sorry if I am interrupting, can I join in?" I asked, as I kicked that stupid heartless that had jumped towards me away. Stupid black creatures, just what in heaven's name are they?

Chizu nodded and relaxed as well, placing her hands down as she watched him. She glanced once at his arm and looked away, turning her attention back to his face. It was a testament to how long she had stayed at Hyakuji that she could look at that arm and say that she had seen much stranger things. "It's Chizu," she said when the guy introduced himself as Adam. She raised an eyebrow at him at the reason he was here. "You didn't see the signs that said "Heartless here, turn back"?!?" Chizu sighed. "Well, never mind. You've still got your Heart, so no harm done. I'll take you back to First Distr--"

"Chizu-san!"

Chizu looked up suddenly as Jen approached. She didn't know Jennifer Chase very well. The only times she had ever really spoken to the girl were during the Florencia fiasco and in the library that one time. From what she knew, the girl was really...um...energetic. Sort of like Star in personality, and since Star was currently living with them, she felt like she had enough randomness to last a lifetime. She tried not to take it out on Jen, though. "Yo," she said, "Nothing much, just making sure people aren't getting killed. Like this guy," She inclined her head towards Adam. "Got himself lost, apparently."

Chizu ran a hand through her hair. Jen might notice that it was much shorter than it had been in Florencia. Back then, it had fallen almost to her waist. Now it was a few inches above her shoulders. She turned around as another girl approached them, flicking her wrist towards the Shadow that was chasing her. A blast of wind came towards it, smashing it against the wall.

Shadows were pretty easy to defeat, thankfully. "Sure," she said, shrugging as the girl asked if she could join in.

He just stood there for a moment, a twitch in his eyebrow every now and then. There was a sign? "I don't remember seeing one." He muttered under his breath before this other girl showed up. He was going to respond to her question before another person showed up after wards, My wasn't he around the popular people today... "Suite yourself I guess." He shrugged towards the new comer's question. One question lingered in his mind right now, one question that formed into words. "So what do we do from here?"

"Yo," Jen grinned broadly and waved as Chizu returned the purple-haired girl's greeting. "Nothing much, just making sure people aren't getting killed. Like this guy; got himself lost, apparently." the aeromancer continued as she tilted her head in Adam's direction. Jen looked at the white-haired guy who was with Chizu. At a first glance, one could almost mistake the two of them as siblings. And speaking of which... Jen raised a quizzical eyebrow as she noticed Chizu's hair, which was a good deal shorter since the last time the two girls saw each other in Florencia.

"Say Chizu-san, you got a haircut?" Jen commented, still wearing her sweet as cotton candy, so cute it's sick grin as she circled around Chizu to get a good look at the aeromancer's hairstyle. Last she saw Chizu, her silver locks reached close to her waist, much like herself - now it was above her shoulders. "But it looks pretty epic nonetheless - gives you that cool big sis look, y'know?" The purple-haired girl giggled with her left hand over her mouth.

Jen was about to ask Adam about himself, when the arrival of another girl interrupted her. "Hello everyone, sorry if I am interrupting, can I join in?" Jen looked at the small-framed girl in a high school uniform and long dark brown hair tied back in a single high ponytail, and said girl paused to deliver a kick to one of the Heartless - a Shadow - that had been harassing her. Chizu was quick to intervene with a wind blast, blowing the Shadow away and smashing it into a nearby wall.

"Sure," Chizu replied coolly with a shrug in response to the newly-arrived girl's request to join up with them.

"So what do we do from here?" Adam asked.

"So... uh, I think I missed out on your introduction for coming in a little too late," Jen looked in Adam's direction. "The name's Chase. Jennifer Chase! But you can call me Jen!" Jen pointed to herself with her thumb. "And how about yourself, Mr. Suave? And how about you, Miss Ponytail?"

Oh great, these people seems to be rather good at what they are doing!
Compare to little useless me... oh well.

Let me see, there's this guy with a wooden sword whom seen to be just a bit better then fighting then I am, I really wouldn't trust him to do much.

Then there's this two other girls, one looked rather serious and capable, she helped me blasted that stupid heartless away, what a nice girl! And the other one looked rather cute and sweet, but at the same time, very trustworthy.
I thank the gods [which, includes Kanoko-Sama and Suwako-Sama, but not Haruhi-Okasama.] that I have the fortune to meet these two girls. It seems that with That Mad Woman always, my luck has finally taken a turn for the better.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Suzumiya Kamu, you can call me Mu-Chan", I introduced myself to them, fortunately, there's no one whom know me, I am not going to let them know that stupid 'Kyonka' nice name, it's just dumb. Baka! "I am with Arcadia, and I was sent here to look for survivors, to be honest, I think I am the one who will need help, and not the survivors I might find. My combat ability is close to zero, and I aren't smart at strategy either."

Chizu flushed a little when Jen mentioned her haircut. "Uh...yeah..." she said, scratching the back of her neck. She could do that now, since her hair was no longer in the way. "It kinda...got burned badly in a fight so I decided to just go ahead and cut it all off." She was almost glad when the other girl showed up. Chizu never really liked being stared at that much. It made her feel uncomfortable.

She stared at the girl in the ponytail for a moment. Seriously? If she couldn't even handle herself, then why go out to Third District at all? She raised an eyebrow, but she didn't say anything. What the girl did with her life wasn't any of Chizu's business.

"Kamu, huh? You're in Arcadia? I don't think we've met. I'm Yamamura Chizu. Jen, that's Adam, and Adam, Jennifer Chase." She placed her hands in her pockets and looked around at the ragtag group that had assembled in the middle of the Third District. "We should probably head back. It isn't exactly safe here." The opposite, actually. If there was an absolute opposite to the word "safe" it was probably Third District.

She glanced around, but no giant Heartless had jumped out on them yet.

"Mr. Suave?" He cocked an eyebrow at the title but he didn't pay much attention to it before the two began to talk about hair and stuff. He heard his name and noticed Chizu was introducing him. Did he even give her his name? She prolly had freaky mind powers, or he forgot that he did. Either way he didn't care really, he just waved halfheartedly towards the other two. He just hoped they didn't start calling him stuff like Adam-Chan or anything. Sure he knew if Japan was formality but the Fan-girls who thought they were Japanese really aggravated him with that stuff.

He sighed for a moment looking around as he put a hand in his pocket. "I guess, not much around here anyways. The few things I fought weren't in any large number or nothen' But, whatever I'm just along for the ride anyways." His free hand, the one holding the Bokudo raised up as he positioned the "blade" of the bokudo on his shoulder. "Well, if either of you know the way then by all means."

"Uh...yeah..." Chizu replied unsteadily, scratching the back of her neck as she flushed slightly at Jen's comment. "It kinda...got burned badly in a fight so I decided to just go ahead and cut it all off."

"Kamu, huh? You're in Arcadia? I don't think we've met. I'm Yamamura Chizu. Jen, that's Adam, and Adam, Jennifer Chase." The silver-haired aeromancer tucked her hands into her pockets after the round of introduction.

"Well-met, Kamu-san and Adam!" Jen turned her attention next to Kyonka. The purple-haired girl gasped slightly in surprise as Kyonka mentioned her affiliation with Arcadia. "Arcadia? Cool! That means you and Chizu-san are a team then!" Jen giggled slightly.

"We should probably head back. It isn't exactly safe here." Chizu chimed in, eliciting a nod from Jen. That would be an understatement; they were literally in the middle of enemy territory. Who knows how many more Heartless were already converging on their position, seeking their hearts?

"Yeah, you know what they say about wearing your heart on your sleeve? I prefer to keep mine where it naturally belongs, inside my chest," Jen couldn't resist making a pun. "But you're right, we better get out of here pronto."

The purple-haired girl scratched her chin thoughtfully as Adam asked for the way out. "I think I've got the way back memorized - it shouldn't be too hard to retrace my way back to the Second District." Despite the twists and turns Jen made to throw the Heartless off her tail she had committed the alleys and paths to memory. The only problem is that they might have to fight their way through more Heartless.

"Oh well," I replied to Chizu, "I am usually with Zhuge Xuanmeng, you know, that Mad Woman? Our former Warfare Advisor, I had the bad luck of becoming her secretary." I sighed, "So I really don't have the chance to meet everyone else. Luckily, she has gone back to her world for now."
And then that nice purple-haired girl said she knows the way out.
    That's great.
"So we will be getting out of here? That sounds good."

Suddenly, sounds of gun fire can be heard.
I looked at the direction where the gun fire is, and saw a girl dress in what looked like a modified Hanfu, a Han Chinese dress which looks like Kimonos, well actually I should say our Kimonos looked like the HanFu since our Kimonos is based on the Chinese Clothing during the Tang Dynasty. However, she has shorts instead of the usual long skirt, so it's seems that Yume-Chan is not the only one who likes to go around in those ancient clothing.
Out of curiosity, I decided to take a closer look at the girl.
    Wait... wait a minute, isn't... isn't that Yume-Chan?
I... have finally found her after so long... just where has she been all this while?
Had she been losing her way around again?
Anyway, it’s so nice to see her back again.
"Yume-Chan!" I called out to her. "Here! Come over here quick!"

"What? Ka... Kamu-Chan?" She replied, as she kicked a Heatless, causing it to fly crushing towards a rock. Hay... she called me Kamu! Not Kyonka! This is a great improvement!
"Why are you here? Did our good strategist Xuanmeng sent you here to help as well?" Hay! And she is using simple Japanese instead of ancient Japanese, so she has finally been enlighten! So my good friend has also joined Arcadia? This is really awesome!
"Anyway, I need to find my way to the Arcadia building?" She asked, strange? Don't she already know, isn't she part of Arcadia already? "I need to meet up with Commander Lavender, Military Advisor Zhuge has some new information for her. So, Kamu-Chan, have you also lost your way? Or have you found the building that houses Arcadia?" As she fired a shot at a heartless, using a revolver and it's a rather nice one, but strangely has a much longer cylinder then a normal one, it seems that it made for rifle cartridges rather then normal handgun rounds, the bullet hitting it's head...
    Wait.
Hay! What is she doing with a gun? And why is her aim so good, is it because of the scope attached to the gun? Strange.

"Alright, then. Jen, you can lead us ba--what the HELL?" Chizu looked up as gunshots rang through Third District, her posture going rigid as she turned around in that direction. She pulled her hands out of her pockets, just in case she needed to fight. It turned out not to be Heartless or someone attacking them, just some trigger-happy Chinese girl.

Why were there so many people in Third District today? Seriously, was there some "let's all smash Heartless" party that she hadn't heard of? She nodded once at the girl, watching as the Heartless began to assemble again. It looked like they were going to have to fight their way out, judging from the masses of roiling shadows around their area. Just her luck.

"Guys, I don't know about you, but I'm getting out of here," she said, not turning to face them as she glanced at the Heartless. "We can talk later. On the count of three? One...two..." The wind began to circle her as she stood there, facing the Heartless ahead of them on the way that most likely led back to Third District.

"Three."

The wind in front of her suddenly moved, a blast of wind heading outwards from her and cutting through the masses of Shadows. Chizu ran forward, extending her hand.

The Chizu person had the right idea to get the hell out of dodge. When she said three he had already taken off and caught up with Chizu only staying behind behind her a few feet to leave her some combat room. For right now he didn't care anymore whether or not people saw his left arm as he pulled it from behind his back and held his Bokudo down in a reversed grip on it. His left arm was beginning to glow, well, the inner part of the arm anyways, the part that the shell of his arm seemed to be covered over.

The Ki it had created was beginning to transfer to the wooden sword, the "blade" part primarily as blue astral flames encompassed the blade before sinking into it and the blade began to shine and it looked similar to a katana-shaped light saber. She probably didn't need and help, but getting his weapon ready was more of a way keep himself at a peace of mind in case another heartless had gotten through her defenses.
