Traverse Town Chizu propped her head up in her hand as she sat at the table, tracing the designs on it lazily with a finger. She had been at home for the better part of five days, and just before she decided she was about to go crazy and break something, Leon had called and invited her out. Any other day, Chizu might have refused but today what she really wanted to do was get out of the house before she killed someone. Besides, both Nickle and Star had been pushing her to give people a chance, and it wasn't like Leon had been absolutely horrible to her the first time they met. She leaned back in her seat, wondering what exactly she was supposed to do. She and Coryn had never really had a "first date", by the time they had what was their first date they were already together. Before that, Chizu had never really had much of an interest in anybody. In fact, growing up most of her friends were boys, and no one had ever really seen her as a girl, so she was a little at a loss. On Damon's advice, she had at least tried to make herself presentable. She wore jeans and a shirt that hadn't been mangled by the Heartless in some fashion and had her newly short hair clipped back on one side by a red hair clip. She hadn't worn make-up, but really that was too much to expect from her. She didn't even own the stuff. She ran her fingers along the edges of her hair. It had never been this short in her life, so the feeling was new to her. She wondered how it looked. |

"So, you had spend our Munny on tailor made, 1920s gangster clothes? The good restaurant? Seriously?" the green Navi uttered in annoyance at his NetOperator's insistence to spend their hard earned munny on looking fine and all divine for a woman who is clearly going to use him as the rebound. "Listen, I think she's alright, lay off it." Leonardo replied to his good navi buddy who seemed to have their best interest at heart. Leonardo walked through the First District in a grand stride, he was a firm believer in the 'Walk like a god and your goddess will come to you' belief, meaning he had a proud and powerful walk to follow it. His Cosa Nostra look was rather ironic because in his own world he was a Police Officer, maybe he picked up their style? Striding down the stairs that, this was basically the Entrance of Traverse Town and made it a real popular spot. Surprisingly, he spotted Chizu from afar because the Prancing Chocobo was an open air restaurant, although he wondered what the hell was a Chocobo, but digressing what made it far more surprising and easier to spot was her short hair? Her more casual attire compared to his also made him blush but he'd play it off... "Hey, if it isn't the lovely Chizu. Cute hair cut." Leon greeted her as he came closer to her table. This was one detail he didn't overlook, as most men got in trouble for a lack of eye for detail. Edited by Zero, Feb 9 2010, 07:17 AM.

I told you to wear the skirt... Huh? asked Chizu, looking up at Aether's comment. Leon had arrived and the moment she saw him, Chizu realized exactly what Aether was talking about. When she left, she thought she looked alright but now she felt severely underdressed. Her cheeks turned red as she looked away suddenly, embarrassed. She pulled her hand away from her hair, the current situation enough to make her stop messing with it. "Ah, thanks," she said, then frowned. "You should have said something. I would have dressed up more." Well, this evening's off to a fine start... she thought, more than a little bit sarcastic. I told you-- Eff you, Aether. Swearing at a thousand year old wind elemental probably wasn't the smartest thing she had ever done, but it wasn't the first time she had done it either. She looked up at Leon again, remembering that it was supposed to be polite or something to reply with a compliment in kind. But what was she going to say? "What's with the hat?" didn't exactly sound like "giving people a chance". "Uh...you look nice too," she said. |

"I know what that means. Your thinking, look like the Chicago Outfit lost some dumb muscle recently." Harpuia said as he popped into the scene from his Hologram once again. "Good evening, Miss Chizu. You look lovely." Harpuia added in. "Another ball game to hand off to Harpuia, huh?" Leon thought to himself as he chuckled, "Thanks, same old Harpuia, right?" Leon stated as he took off his hat, revealing his sandy blond hair. Placing it onto the table as he took his seat, "So, what's up?" Leon asked her. |

Chizu grinned slightly at Harpuia's comment, wondering if there was a way to say "my thoughts exactly" without being rude. Considering most of Chizu's comments could be considered rude in one form or another, she decided there wasn't. "Got my keyblade," she said when Leon asked her what was up. It was one of the things that had happened lately that she was proud of, among others. "Lost most of my hair in the process though, as you can see," she said with a small grin, gesturing at her new haircut. It wasn't exactly something she had wanted to do, but she found that there were some advantages to having short hair. It wasn't forever getting in her face when she had to fight, for one. But her hair had been one of the things about her that actually made her look like a girl and she wasn't inclined to start wearing pink or dresses just to compensate for it. She thought back to before she fought with Kinclex. "Oh and I got a job," she said, "At the Abenobashi Arcade." She wondered whether he'd been there before, thought of her uniform, and decided that she wasn't sure she wanted him to go there in the near future. "And that's about it..." she said, deciding to leave out that whole mess in Florencia...or what was once Florencia. It wasn't something she was proud of. "You?" |

Leon began taking off his jacket, revealing a black vest yet his attention was still on Chizu. A Keyblade, that certainly was interesting. They were awesome but he preferred Harpuia's trusted Valkyrie Sabers. they were certainly were enough for him. But it was an effort to be proud of, recently he had heard about that Order of Keyblade knights helping out the community and fighting evil. Holding a Keyblade, made her a Knight...was she part of their organization? Her hair cut was very cute, but he wondered what would've sparked her to do it? He remembered that cutting hair for girls is usually a big deal? Finally working at Abenobashi was sweet! He had been there before, and those hard working gals wouldn't give him the time of day but their uniforms were...something ;]. Sending it back at him, he wondered what was up with him. "Me? Working in the EXE world really, trying to help their officials and stuffs with my experience from my own world, you know keeping their leaders from making our mistakes and leading them in Heartless battles. Sorta gives me nostalgic feeling working there though." Leon replied. While he seemed good, you could see from the little details that his face was getting pale, his hair was lightening and his eye color was doing too. You could say it was overworking, but was it? |

"Oh, cool," said Chizu, leaning back in her seat. She was starting to relax now and it was visible. The tension had left her neck and shoulders, her posture wasn't quite so rigid, and she was no longer carefully filtering her words. Her earlier embarrassment about her state of dress was more or less gone. Nobody else really seemed to be looking at her anyway. Besides, she could have worn her Arcadia uniform for all anyone cared. It probably would have matched better. "I've just been...being kept up to date by Arcadia and all that. But it's been boring. They haven't given me any work since the Florencia disaster, and I got more time off from them after I got injured...a bit." A bit was probably not the best way to put it. A better way would be "looked death in the face and somehow managed to get away". But that wasn't something anyone really needed to know. Besides, she always downplayed her injuries. She frowned for a moment, her eyes narrowing slightly as she studied Leon. From this angle, the light was better and she thought she saw something she hadn't noticed before. He looked...tired. She wondered how many hours he was putting into this thing at EXE and was surprised to find that she was actually a little concerned. "Hey, you don't look so good," she said, "How much work are you putting into this EXE thing again? Maybe you should take a break." Granted, coming from her it was like the pot calling the kettle black. |
