Mayu managed to form one of the pillars into a defensive shield against gunfire from Lavender - that the aeromancer was expecting; she wouldn't expect anything less from an opponent of this caliber. Seizing the distraction provided by Erin-boy's cloud cover, Lavender gathered the wind beneath her feet, synchronizing her move with Erin-girl's as the older aeromancer also prepared to take to the air to fight Mayu, Keyblade raised in one hand and MP7A1 in another - while Erin took one side, Lavender would flank Mayu from another - it all seemed like a well-planned and calculated move, however the Heartless had tricks of her own.

Using her prodigious mastery over the element of Earth, Mayu reshaped the shield of rock to wrap around the pillar she was standing on, before spinning rapidly in a move not unlike Lavender's own cyclone desperation attack. The aeromancer detected, just a fraction of a second before its coming a powerful air current, and not from aeromancy, but from the sheer force of Mayu's spinning strike as the pillar shrank in size, with the female Heartless slicing chunks of rock right off the pillar, bringing her back to ground and in the process sending a cascade of sharp-edged rock fragments at her attackers!

"Projectiles incoming!" Lavender shouted, which pretty much meant 'defend oneself to the best of one's ability', as she summoned her telekinetic barrier, the shimmering violet sphere of force and light surrounding her person and causing the fragments to shatter on impact. If anyone were right behind Lavender, they too would probably be spared of the worst of this stone rain.

As for Kinclex, it appeared the tactic of using suppressive fire to keep him busy didn't work as planned - but that guy was a literal speed demon, that was hardly surprising. As the Nobody closed in to join the fray he would find himself cut off by a sudden wall of black flames.

"Leave Kinclex to me. Concentrate on the Heartless." A voice buzzed in Lavender's mind. No doubt the others would find the voice unfamiliar, but Lavender knew full well who it belonged to - Thifax, once known as Faith, an Arcadian like herself and those here fighting the forces of darkness. Lavender smiled inwardly - looks like she was right to have invested her trust in Faith; once Arcadia, always Arcadia - that was what could be said of Faith.

"Do as the voice says," Lavender broadcast to the other Arcadians present. Although what happened next didn't exactly leave them with much of a choice, as two huge domes of energy appeared, trapping underneath one of them Kinclex together with Thifax, and under the other one, Mayu along with the forces of Arcadia. "All right, now we're even!" Lavender said as she slung her submachine gun to throw two Saber Gusts at Mayu. "Everyone, assume flanking positions!" Lavender gave the order as she made the first move, shortly after unleashing her blades of wind the aeromancer rocketed forward on a blast of air, swinging her Keyblade in a horizontal arc at Mayu!

"YOU THINK I'LL ACCEPT THAT!?" James roared.

"This shitty movie-esque final duel... you think I'll accept it?!" James roared. "Separating us... Trying to kill her now that she's our ally, self-sacrifice.. ISN'T THERE ENOUGH OF THAT WITH JUST ME?!" James slammed his swords into the barrier. "Kids.." He teared up, frustrated beyond words. "Kids shouldn't have to die... No more kids should have to die...!" He said roaring as he wailed on the barrier.

'James..' Mason said...

'Heh.. I like that spirit James!' Jameson said. 'I like.. that over confident part of me that wants to protect everyone! LET'S SWITCH!'

'...?' James nodded in agreement.

"PSYCH CHANGE! JAMESON!" James' eyes glowed blue as his entire posture, attitude, and aura shifted.

"Just like James said. Even if you make the conditions for this fight I won't agree to them." Jameson said firmly. "I'll reach Thifax... I'll reach her heart! When an Arcadian fights they never do it alone. Not now, not ever. The only one who sacrifices themselves all alone in this world should be idiot adults like me. Kids should.. stop acting like brats and enjoy their youth!"

"If you're resolved to die for your sins Thifax.. Do it at my side, as a proper Arcadian!"

"FUSION SPELL!"

Castor and Pollux turned back into light, shifting and swirling, forming a mass of light and power. Their energies swirled together, compounding... and then... It all flooded back into Jameson. Jameson roared in pain, his eyes emitting a bright light as his entire body was flooded with power. His back arched in pain as he howled out, roaring with twin voices, his own and that of a being far greater than him.

He raised the evoker to his skull.

Subconscious fear, he knew it all too well. But this was no longer a fear of pulling the trigger. To say that he had pulled the trigger long ago would not be inaccurate. No, this fear was the fear of what would happen if he didn't pull the trigger. It was a fear that was unselfish. The fear of a ruler whom protected his subjects, a guardian and their ward. It was the fear of kings. The fear of Emporers.

He pulled the trigger.

Light errupted once more from his skull, forming and changing into a new persona. The figure that formed was a towering behemoth. His massive frame dwarfed the battlefield.

"Thou art I, I art thou."

"Leader of men, triumphant of a thousand battles."

"CAESAR!"

"........ GALACTIC.... STRIKE!" Jameson roared, All the power of creaser roared through his body. he exploded forward swinging his sword which had grown to enormous size under the power of Caasar, impacting the barrier with enough force to knock an object into space. "AN ARCADIAN.. IS NEVER ALONE!"

Now, let's play together...under the clearest of blue skies.
She's ignoring me... Erin thought, as the projectiles sailed in all directions. Am I not enough of a threat...? Using the air to redirect the trajectories of the projectiles, Erin ensured that she wouldn't be hit. But the heartless hadn't even looked at her once during the whole fight.

The girl landed safely, but the determination she had started the battle with was dampened. This is my best...it has to be enough...right...? Erin renewed her grip on her two swords and ran towards Mayu again, but the wind swirling around them had faltered. She was no longer confident that she would be able to match Mayu in melee.

Who the hell was THAT? Damon had never heard this voice before, and over the arcadian link? He was fairly sure he would have known of another person who was on the ship for this mission. Before he could even react, Lavender told them all to obey the voice, so he turned. Fine. He'd focus on the heartless for now.

His gun blinked as the charge was refilled by the ambient darkness. He couldn't fire off the grenade shot, though. Too many people around the heartless girl. He had to keep his distance. He took aim and fired off a normal shot at her, taking care to avoid hitting anyone else.

The show must go on, people! Even though my computer already ate this entire post ONCE.

Come into my parlor, said the spider to the fly...

Thifax's expression never changed as Kinclex cut her off from the others, her face remaining smooth and deadpan even as he faced her. She wasn't afraid. She wasn't even intimidated. She wasn't capable of feeling those things and affecting them would make no difference. Her eyes focused on him as her mind raced. Thought. Logic. Something totally unlike she once was, but then again, it was who she was now.

She could hear Jameson shouting from the other battlefield. She couldn't go to them, but she could definitely hear them. He didn't accept the terms. Why? Did he think he could save her? Did it matter?

Thifax closed her eyes. It was only for a moment, almost a blink, but in that time, she tuned everything else out. The world around her didn't matter anymore. Kinclex, the sounds of battle, nothing mattered. In the end, all she could hear was her heartbeat. Funny, how she still had that. She had her biological heart. She didn't have the one that mattered. But in the end, that wasn't important here. She opened her eyes, watching Kinclex again.

Thifax sighed, the breath of air crossing her lips.

"Jameson. Do you honestly think I'd die that easily?" she said over the Arcadia connection.

As she sighed, a small black spark left her lips, falling to the ground. In that moment, all pretense of defeat was gone. So was all pretense of repentance. The Thifax that looked up at Kinclex now rested one hand on her hip, the corners of her lips turning up in a smirk. No emotion behind it, but she felt it was fitting. The spark continued to fall.

"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here," she quoted as the spark touched the ground.

It burned. An inferno of black flame rose up from that spot, surrounding Thifax and spreading outwards in an instant. Black flames twisted around her, forming a storm of fire as she stood in the center of it, unaffected by it all. These were her flames, and they wouldn't hurt her. The flames would spread as far as the barrier allowed them, twisting and turning. They were darkness and chaos. They burned and consumed, and she felt that even the Arcadia group would be able to feel the heat.

She wondered if it had ever occurred to Kinclex that trapping himself in an enclosed space with an enraged--or what passed for enraged among the Nobodies--pyromancer was not a good idea. But that didn't matter. The inferno raged.

She would let him taste hell.

OoC: Thought I already posted. Oh well.

iC: Erin nodded at the order to flank. There were still way too many around Maya. Jumping in with a sword wouldn't help anyone. He stabbed both of his swords into the ground and snapped his fingers on both hands as his eyes tracked the attackers.

However right as he began he saw what Jameson was doing and stared in awe. It was an immense power and one that made him pause. He couldn't do anything like that. It was something not just anyone could manage.

He turned away and lifted the blades back into his hands. A large cloud formed over his head. It flashed and glowed with a brilliant light. With a flick of the wrist the light-infused cloud across the ground, low and thin to the ground, only about a foot deep. The glowing mass rapidly approached Maya's feet. It wouldn't do anything to his allies, except get them a bit damp, but it might be pretty effective against a Heartless.

Unfortunately for Cypriss, Thifax was alone. It may have been revealed now that she may be an Arcadian at heart, but unfortunately that heart is conviniently vacant. While the Galactic sword was swung, Mayu had ust been recovering from her spinning attack. The Heartless Bounce barely had time to regain her footing, before she was forced to dig her heels as Lavender's sabre gusts were flung towards her.

Mayu raised the Axe-breaker with her right hand, pushing against the back of the katana with her left hand, allowing it to withstand the force of the sabres gusts and also acting as a block for when Lavender swung her keyblade. It was at about this time, that the Galactic sword completely shattered the dome that Kinclex had created. However, as valiant and highly impressive as the move was, Thifax was Kinclex's now. Kinclex smiled, watching as gigantic blade came swinging towards his own dome arena.

"So long my little rabbits." With that, a dark portal opened up beneath the dome and it was swallowed into the darkness. As quick as the portal had opened, it closed. Both Organisation members were no gone from view. By this time, Erin-girl was making a charge at Mayu and due to her already being locked with Lavender in combat, the heartless woman had no choice but to jump backwards to avoid them both. As a precaution, she swung the Axe-breaker out in an arc while she jumped back, ensuring some breathing space, while also causing the rubble on the ground to be shoot out 3 pieces of sharpened rock at the two aeromancers.

However, Mayu was now dead in the water. It was at this point that Damon had fired his shot at her and she had not landed in time to dodge it, nor could she swing Axe-breaker to dispel it. The shot impacted and sent the woman careening and tumbling onto the ground. Mayu was breathing heavily now. Although it was a shot of darkness, it still hurt and her right side of her torso was now smoking.

As Erin-boy sent his cloud flowing along the ground, it did not necesserily harm Mayu, but it did add to the atmosphere as she got up. It was a slow movement, where she stabbed her sword into the ground and slowly pulled herself up. She looked out at the Arcadians through thin yellow slits. Now she was angry. She stabbed the Axe-breaker into the ground, while drawing from her pocket a pack of cards. She slowly held them out before free hand moved and threw two cards at each of the Arcadians.

The thing was, that Mayu's powers were not terramancy, but shape manipulation, which originated from finding the sharpest angel of any object. So needless to say, these cards were going to give one hell of a paper cut if they hit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Kinclex let his slowly positioned himself into a ready stance, his grieves making a small scrapping sound along the floor as he did so. Both he and Thifax were surrounded by the Dark Corridor. They could see in it perfectly, every Organisation member could, but the swirling purple and black shadows still added an air of malice to the arena and the combatants alike.

It was then that Thifax spoke of abandoning hope. He watched as she created her fire-storm. It was impressive, but he'd dealt with many a pyromancer in his day. He doubted she'd surprise him. Before engaging he spoke, "The Organisation functions as one. We are a single chain and each one of us is a link that holds our plans together. For you to act as you have is unforgivable. So now, I shall terminate you with extreme prejudice."

Kinclex's 4 ghost hands suddenly were each forming a large ball of lightning in each of their palms. Maelstrom bombs. "For Xemnas!" Kinclex then vanished, appearing in front of Thifax and her flames. They did not scare him, nothing did. Kinclex performed a blistering 5 hit combination move in the following sequence. Right straight punch to the chest, left elbow smash to the chin, right knee to the stomach or groin area, pivoting on the left foot the knee attack would move into a backward spin kick with the heel aimed to strike Thifax's head from the left and finally once the leg touches the ground again, a right upper cut.

On another note, Kinclex's ghost hands were floating periously close behind him, each one still holding an electrical bomb.

"We're doing well thus far," Lavender assured the Arcadians fighting Mayu. While the enemy was still undamaged thus far, neither had anyone on their team taken any significant injuries. While Jameson sought a way to attempt to bring down the barrier that kept them separated from Thifax, Lavender and the rest were still locked in battle with the Mayu Heartless, and it was a closely-fought battle so far with neither side gaining any ground. "I will attempt to keep Ms. Heartless occupied; rest of you take advantage of any openings that present themselves!"

Not surprisingly, Mayu defended against the incoming Saber Gusts, and responded swiftly to Lavender's advancing slash as she blocked the aeromancer's Keyblade, jumping back just in time to avoid a flanking assault from Erin-girl. For their troubles, the Heartless responded by making a spinning slash upon jumping back, sending three chunks of sharpened rock flying towards the aeromancers.

"Erin-girl, watch and learn!" With her telekinetic shield still in cooldown phase, Lavender improvised by using defensive aeromancy as she waved her free hand, sending a powerful blast of wind towards the incoming stone projectiles. While it couldn't stop the rocks, it did create additional drag and air resistance that served to alter - albeit subtly - the projectiles' trajectories, making them easier to avoid. Lavender flinched as she took a glancing hit from a stone missile, the jagged edge cutting across her upper arm, grazing her limb. Lavender only managed to divert two of the three projectiles, however, and the remaining one would be up to Erin to guard against to the best of her ability.

Score one for the Heartless?

It appeared that for all her power and skill, even this elite Heartless has her limits, and Arcadia finally scored one as a shot from Damon hit Mayu dead-on. As the female Heartless rose, the smoking wound indicated that she took a hit on the right side of the torso. While damaged, it only served to infuriate their enemy - who still remained dangerous. Lavender found the reaction interesting; was she angered? Nobodies had no emotions due to the lack of their metaphorical hearts, and the Heartless were more or less similar due to their animal-like mindset. This one acted in a manner that was almost human.

Lavender had no time to wonder, however, as the female Heartless quickly recovered and threw playing cards, two each, at her and her teammates. The combat-experienced Lavender could tell this much from the way the projectiles flew was that those things will hurt if they hit; they were more like shurikens, really. Being more aerodynamic that the rocks from earlier meant that their trajectories are harder to redirect. Instead, Lavender used a more simple method of evasion - duck!

The aeromancer threw herself to the ground, narrowly avoiding the shuriken-like cards. Lavender blinked as she noticed some purple hair slowly falling to the groud; instinctively touching her head, the aeromancer realized her bangs were shorter than before. Talk about a close shave! As she hit the dirt, Lavender propped herself up on her Keyblade before raising her MP7A1 at Mayu, this time emptying the rest of the magazine in the direction of the female Heartless!

Cards cut through the air coming toward Erin. Fortunately for him he had taken to assuming that everything was there to kill him. They'll probably explode or something. He slammed himself to the ground, face first, avoiding the attack. He looked over his shoulder. They didn't look very explosive, but they weren't anywhere near him anymore.

The cloud Mayu had stood up from slowly began to precipitate water and discharge the light it had been charged with. That was almost how lightning worked really. It was a shame it was on the ground since the chances of any of the light actually hitting Mayu's feet in the random discharge wasn't that great.

Erin rose to his feet. I guess I could just rush in... He wanted to, but he knew that was probably not the best plan. He tapped his foot for a moment. Well, he couldn't just stand there being dead weight. He twirled the blade of light in his hand. It was worth a shot. He pulled it back over his shoulder and sent it flying across the field toward Mayu. She would block it. There wasn't much doubt as far as that went but it would be a distraction from Captain Lavender's attack... Or maybe that would be a distraction for his attack. Well, he assumed something would get through.
