Selene followed the White Mage and the others as they approached the castle, pausing at the gate as the guard addressed the party formally, and once the formal proceedings were done with, they were shown into the castle halls, only to be addressed by another guard. So there was more to this story than just the Heartless? Now, this can't be good... Selene stifled a sigh as she heard the guard's story. A traitor knight and a group of renegades leading the Heartless and a kidnapped princess? Not good. But together, we will prevail! The Briton thought as she looked at the others who were summoned to this realm. There was her fellow Arcadian, Meglumar - even if they have yet to establish much rapport between the two of them she knew the swordsman was someone dependable in a life-and-death situation. Then there was Miyuki - if there was someone who knows just what to do, it had to be her. As for Kouta and Django, she wasn't sure what to make of them, but if they were summoned for this task, they had to be pretty capable, right? Past the castle halls, the group arrived in the throne room, apparently interrupting a cloaked wizard in the middle of a rant. "Tell, his Majesty that you are the Phoenix Force?...Or you come up with a name...which the Order of White Mage's brought forth to help the Light Warriors, I'll be back later..." Selene heard the White Mage whisper to her before the lady in white took off, much to the Briton's puzzlement. "I am Selene Frostfire, a summoner," The Briton replied to the white-haired mage's question, bowing politely before the royalty as she did. "We are the Phoenix Force, brought forth by the Order of White Mages to assist the Light Warriors." |

Otenko bowed then nudged Django who also bowed. "I'm am the embodiment of the sun in another Dimension,"Otenko said. "And I'm Django. I've slain many a vampire, immortal, and creature of darkness in my travels. I wield the bright destructive fury of the sun,"Django said drawing his Solar Blade. |

Terra Margrace bowed his head walking to the side of his Knight, Meglumar, "And I am Sir Terra Margrace, Lord Commander of the Order of the Cardinal Skies. It is an honor to meet and serve your majesties." Terra spoke nobly. It had been a long time to since he had served and spoke to a member of Royalty, he himself was part of Nobility with his home land as a part of the famed Margrace family. "What kind of sissy Knights call themselves the Phoenix Force?!" posed the question as he began to laugh. "Of course, the sissy prissy hippy mages would name you guys something like that...seriously get a new name." Black Mage added through attempts ending his laughter. "What are you talking about? Jean Grey's Phoenix Force makes her the most powerful mutant ever, plus Phoenix is undying so they must be awesome." Fighter responded by defending his new friends in nerdy fashion. Queen Jayne stood forward, motioning towards a Knight of her's and having him give her a sword, "I dub this Phoenix's Force, as the Dawn Knights and Elite Special Forces of Cornelia. Sir Terra, you shall take command of these Knights leading them on their mission to defeat the Heartless of the Kingdom and help the Light Warriors on their quest to defeat Garland and his company." Queen Jayne proclaimed, as Terra simply nodded raising his own Keyblade before turning to the Light Warriors. "Can we haz Reconzs pwease?" Fighter asked wondering now where Garland actually was..."Hey, we shouldn't expect that either Fighter," Thief smartly remarked. ![]() "Can we expect weapons and armor then?" asked Thief, "Maybe spells, now?" Red Mage added in but King Steve simply retorted a "Nope," and Queen Jayne having to finish it with, "We apologize, it's just that our armories and magic facilities have been destroyed by Garland, we're lucky we still have the few lowly ones we still have that had the rather basic things. I'm sure that nearby nations will have better equipment...," "That's why..." ![]() "I was going to reward you guys with the Bridge known as King Steve's Kickass Bridge, but you guys seem to really need some help...Anyways, they probably got armor, magic and weapons superior to ours, but vastly inferior to what you'll inevitably find in your travels but they're shiner cause, it has no history and is fresh made...Only the best for the Light Warriors!" King Steve stated as he seemed excited about the fact he could build his 'Kickass' Bridge to Prontera. "Yes! We do need those! Lots of shiny swords, please." Fighter said gleefully. ![]() "YOUR MAJESTY!" cried the Mage dressed in a strange turban, "We have heard that Prontera has sent a Machina to destroy the new Bridge, also the sacrifices for summoning out patron Eidolon must be made" the Mage declared, "Then send them there at once Minwu! After I ask the Thief a question though..." ![]() Having been sent a few feet away from the gates of King Steve's Kickass Bridge by Minwu's Magic, for some reason there was burning...probably for their Eidolon's sacrifce nothing more right?...Well meddling in World affairs wasn't their place anyways, they were there to defeat the Heartless and nothing more. ...Terra looked at his Dawn Knights taking off his helmet revealing the brunette of spiked hair and blue eyes, "It is an honor to be leading you all, but this is a team. As such, in truth, I will always allow you to state your opinion and always have a say in matters." Terra told them, "Heh, who would've thought we actually have someone noble near us other than Fighter, who just a loveable...idiot?" Thief said. Before they could walk a few steps more though, WHAM! ![]() Also summoned with them, Six Shadows apparently awaiting the Phoenix Force/Elite Special Forces of Cornelia or Dawn Knights..."Well, I guess this won't be too hard, these are easy enemies..." Black Mage said taking out a magazine called 'Nintendo Power...

Meglumar was slack-jawed beneath his helmet. This....this king was stupid. I....I have a bad feeling about this. He thought to himself, with a sigh. A bridge. Well that was brilliant. Not. They ended up being warped away and walking off from the kingdom, Meglumar still rather silent. How could such a stupid man rule? Eventually they were faced with enemies. He unsheathed his sword to go along with his keyblade and charged at the heartless, slashing at one of them with both his sword, now engulfed in light, and his keyblade. |

Idiotic leadership aside, Kouta just shrugged a majority of it off, largely dozing off as King Steve went on his little spiel on everything while dealing with the Light Warriors. He was just here to help face the threat of this world, not meddle with its inner workings. If they were lead by a moron that was their problem. Regardless, by the time he was awake there were now faced with a random encounter. There wasn't much to say on this matter...it certainly was random. Either way, Kouta assumed his usual stance, before dashing forth, leaping up and coming down at one of the Imps with a powerful, right-handed punch. |

And monsters! That meant fighting, of course. That certainly felt better than the earlier shenanigans in the castle at any rate; Selene was wondering how much more she could've taken back there before she was driven crazy. So even though she didn't quite expect the party to run into a combat situation so soon after setting forth on their mission, this was considered a refreshing break. Not that Selene was one who relished combat and lives in the thrill of a slaughter. The Briton reached for her ritual dagger as the enemies closed in, contemplating on summoning her Valkyrie into the fray. At the last moment however, she reconsidered her move, letting her hand drop to her side. It was as good a time as any to try out what she had recently obtained... ![]() Motes of light appeared and gathered in Selene's outstretched hand, and with a brilliant flash, Selene's Keyblade manifested itself, floating briefly in the air before the Briton gripped the handle, flourishing the weapon a bit before standing with her Keyblade in a two-handed grip typical of European swordfighters when using a Zweihander or other similarly large-sized swords. "Well then, have at thee!" Selene announced in English as she stood her ground, anticipating an enemy attack. |

"Django!"Otenko alerted Django to the monsters. "I'm on it. I may not have the same light as everyone else, but this should be good enough,"Django said as he drew his solar sword and Gun Del Sol. He rushed into the fray slashing at one Imp aiming to slash it across the chest and light it on fire while bringing his solar gun to the forehead of another imp and fired off a shot aiming to put a scorching hole through its skull. Well honestly, things could have gone better, but Miyuki didn't care at all. Interfering with a world's affairs wasn't something she cared about. She was here to deal with a specific threat and to keep Kouta from doing anything stupid, and dealing with random monsters with no relation to their objective was not part She simply stood behind and crossed her arms, waiting for other people to expend their energy dealing with it. "You really are too nice, Kouta." she sighed to herself as he charged into the fray. Unless she had to defend herself, she wasn't going to waste precious energy on such trivialities. |

Terra's Keyblade suddenly extended into a whip with a angel wing-like ending, it became imbued with the pure force of light as it slammed down unto a couple of Shadows, like all whips the multiple cracks heard was the tip breaking the sound barrier. The other Dawn Knights also destroyed the Imps, numbers would appear above the heads of the Imps showing how much damage they did. Kouta was able to land a -60 Damage hit while Django landed the mere -8 Damage needed on each one to kill the Imps. Even the Shadows were showing these as Terra landing three -50 Damage hits with his KeyWhip while Meglumar's attacks hit with a -25 Damage each for his direct hits onto the Shadow. More Heartless began to appear as the sudden amount of multiple Keyblade wielders had come to three. This was rare for the Heartless of this world, as such it called to them to have some fun. Neo-Shadows and Soldiers really, this was foreshadowing a darker force which was controlling them, attempting to the destroy the Kickass Bridge it seemed. "Another barrage, brace yourselves, I sense these are stronger!" Terra warned. Towards Dame Knight Frostfire, a Soldier and Neo-Shadow went towards her attempting to get at her with their kicks and claws, respectively while another pair of Soldiers and another Neo-Shadow would begin to head towards Miyuki. The Light Warriors would be stuck with the new Imps and Ghosts. "Well, I'm not wasting my MP right now, it'll waste the Versatility I have..." Red Mage told his comrades as Thief nodded, "Contract dictates that I can stand out whenever I want to..." Thief responded as Black Mage and Fighter came to look at each other with more Imps or rather Goblins, showing up to greet them...as such... ![]() ![]() But suddenly down the Bridge came walking mechanical wonder which would leave the world to tremble at it's feet. Black Mage suddenly read his Nintendo Power, rapidly skipping pages and to his shock...It was the WarMECH! IT'S A SUPERBOSS?! This early?!! "Says hear, it only has 2000 HP..." Black Mage said in a very calm manner, trying to keep collected.. "Only 2000?!!! We're gonna die!!" Red Mage cried out as he looked towards everyone fighting. "I got a plan! Red Mage, Wall-All and then Haste-All! Black Mage cast some Black Magic, Thief and I get some swordplay. Physical Dawn Knights, take care of the one controlling them all, the WarMECH." Fighter said as he drew his swords once more. Thief sighed, "This is going to be annoying..." Thief sighed once more. "Roger!", "Fine...since when does Fighter make plans..." Black Mage begrudgingly acted to Fighter's accord. The Mages began charging their spells... But WarMECH would send the first attack as red lasers took aim at Miyuki, Kouta, Meglumar and Terra. Just as quickly the Machina, sent a four missiles aimed directly for them, taking no prisoners at all. This WarMECH was certainly built with War in mind, it was going to cause as much anarchy as it could. Leaving destruction in it's wake, it would even use Heartless accomplish his goal as there were two Neo-Shadows and a Bookmaster defending too. Another four lasers would be sent in the direction of Selene, Django, Fighter and Thief...foreshadowing the next attack.

"Django, hold them off. I'll summon the Pile Driver,"Otenko said. Suddenly, a magic circle covered in runes and markings began to form on the ground beneath Otenko. Django nodded. He would need to by Otenko time for the big attack. He jumped out of the way of the targeting laser laser and rolled on the ground to get back up. He brought up his Solar Gun and a large sphere could be seen sticking out of the barrel. He launched the charged shot at Soldier 1. "Another barrage, brace yourselves, I sense these are stronger!" The orders were clear - they would have to defend the bridge from the incoming Heartless at all costs. As more Heartless appeared Selene readied herself; two enemies moved in to attack - a Soldier, which she was by now all too familiar with, along with an enemy she hadn't quite face before, a Neo-Shadow, a strange creeping shadow on the ground. Before the Briton could make her move however, a flash of light drew Selene's attention to the newly-arrived WARMECH, which was firing a laser weapon at her and her friends! Throwing herself to the ground, the Briton rolled aside just in time as the beam passed over where her head once was, rising onto her knees to take a look at her enemies. Planting her keyblade into the ground, Selene drew her ritual dagger and drew a trickle of blood from her free hand, painting the runes for her summoning circle. With a flash, glowing magical lines appeared on the floor, connecting with the glowing runes and forming a summoning circle. "Now we're even." Selene commented as the Shining Valkyrie was summoned into existence. Selene moved forward to meet the attacking Soldier head-on, swinging her Keyblade in a two-handed downwards slash at the Soldier's head, while the Valkryrie waited for the Neo-Shadow to attack before seizing the opportunity to attempt a horizontal slash with her light-infused claymore, aimed at its midsection. |

.... Well that was bothersome. Miyuki sighed. Somehow, evertime she has ever attempted to avoid a battle, she somehow always got dragged into it. On 1 hand, she disliked fruitless battles. On the other, she was also abit of a warmonger. Despite liking competition, Miyuki wasn't the type that aggresively desired conflict. She's the kind that would join once a fight started and if she is going to join, she'd aim to be #1. If they had left her alone, there would have been no issue. However, now that she was irrevocably involved, there was no helping things as she drew three cards, and rouzed them. [AP: 5500] The 2 of Diamonds That increased ranged attack power. [BULLET] [AP: 5100] The 4 of Diamonds That increased rate of attack. [RAPID] [AP: 4300] And the 6 of Diamonds that added a flaming property to the attack. [FIRE] [AP: 3300] "Everyone. Head's down. Now." she called out, somehow sounding deadpan even in a loud command voice. [BURNING SHOT] The combination was processed. It was simple enough to set a pattern of bombardment that would encompass the desired targets. The targets that were heading towards her. The missile barrage. The warmech that fired the barrage. Everything really. She took aim with the pistol like device with a single hand, and pulled the trigger. ![]() The world was interrupted as if it were a cg scene from a visual novel, and the Earth shook as the barrage erupted from the barrel. What would follow would best be compared to artillery bombardment as it filled the area with a massive barrage that whistled through as they cut through the air. A term for such a thing was a MAP Attack. Mass-Area Attack Power. Not so much an attack to strike a target, as much as it was a attack that encompassed the entire area and would blow away anything within that area that was dumb enough to not take cover as if struck by a mass of incendiary artillery shells. Well...this was troublesome. Kouta would have been surprised at a mecha showing up as a random encounter in an RPG world, if not he had not been through the Endless Frontier. Then again that world was already a giant mess so when you see enemies such as killer whales armed with bazookas, you kinda just get used to all kinds of weird things. "Man, fighting mechs on foot reminds he of the days with Aledy and Neige..." Kouta couldn't help but quip to himself, before he called forth the Fenrir. Everyone seemed content with using weapons so he decided to use his own...but he had other ideas on how to use it. "CHOU HENSHIN!!!" ![]() With a quick palette swap and minor changes to his armor, Kouta was now in his blue Dragon Form, and the Keyblade had changed to his trademark Dragon Rod....though since Miyuki had decided to bombard everything, getting in close was out of the question. As such, he ended up jumping as high as he possibly could, before focusing light into the polearm...! "Take this! FLYING SPLASH DRAGON!" he cried out as he hurled the weapon at the mech's head. The situation seemed to be similar to Miyuki's, an interruption in the form of a CG...!

"...Oh crap oh crap oh crap." Meglumar yelled out as he jumped back from the laser. THEN he saw the missile, which barely got through the Kamen Rider's very impressive and very scary barrage. " STUPID....MACHINES!" He yelled out, swinging his keyblade up under the missile, actually causing it to spin in midair for a moment. Beneath his helmet, Meglumar gained a devious look in his eyes. "You dropped something!" He said before spinning around and smacking the spinning missile BACK at the Warmech. If the attack was good enough for him, it was good enough to be returned. A sort of gift that keeps on giving. Edited by Captain, Feb 28 2010, 12:02 PM.

They had heeded Terra's warning but apparently there was someone who would not contain themselves or their abilities for the more powerful foes they were probably going to meet. Selene seemed very promising as a Keyblader, Django was trying his Solar abilities, Miyuki apparently wanted to end WarMech from existence, Kouta had become an Awesome Dragoon who knew the arts of being a Dragon Knight very well, finally Meglumar backfired the Missile to WarMech somehow which was rather impressive? Terra quickly looked over to the Light Warriors to see what they had set in motion as this happened as well, unknown the combination of attacks and WarMech's most impressive attack of all, would end up destroying the ground they were standing on. Black Mage suddenly casted a Flare, how the hell did he get the strongest normal Black Magic?! and all, while Red Mage doublecasted All-Haste and All-Wall, giving the party improved speed and both magical and physical defense. Fighter and Thief were given the extra power to fight off the evil WarMech. All the Heartless were destroyed as the Lance was suddenly sent to the WarMech, with an Artillery Shell usually reserved for Anti-tank warfare, one of it's own Missiles even a blast from Flare and to combat these attacks ...WarMech used it's strongest attack known as Nuclear...Splitting an Atom into two, it was basically a Non-Nuclear Mine or Bomb from Neon Genesis Evangelion, except without all the radioactivity and all of the KABOOM! Fighter and ran to try and take some stabs at the Warmech, knowing what was coming next... ![]() "...Aw...fuck..." Black Mage declared knowing it was possibly the end of the Party... ![]() They had been blown away towards Prontera while WarMech fell like a rock straight to the waters below them. ![]() Apparently everyone was floating in the air enough time as they fell to begin talking to each other. ![]() ![]() With quick and sudden moves, Fighter had took hold over everyone with the speed and help of Thief of course, those who could stay flying or simply stayed in the air...weren't safe. But Fighter certainly did the impossible. ![]() ...Acting as if it was nothing, they all got off of Fighter. "Wow, thats was pretty awesome there...I didn't think we would survive that," Red Mage stated, "Well, It would've worked out either way...my Insurance poilicies on you would've kicked in." Thief retorted with a smile. ![]() "ARRR! Ye mateys are coming with us! Ye Trespass on our turf, ar!!" A Pirate declared to them as they became surrounded by a bunch of other Pirates...
