The world of Legacy was one that was hard to tell if Heartless were attacking it or not, simply because it was a world more content with attacking itself rather than falling to the foes of darkness, well, the Heartless in particular anyway. Legacy was a world that had it's own foes, it's own beings with the thirst for destruction...but their goals never coincided with the Heartless, the World Heart? There was one thing that this group wanted before they completely took control of the world.... Location: ??? ![]() "Brocken! Ashura!" Within the a giant room at an undisclosed location stood a single man, standing atop a black gear, one much like the many floating around the vast room. The moment he called out those names, two giant screens would open up, each of the figures pictured giving the blue man a resounding salute. ![]() "Dr. Hell, this Saluud and Baron Ashura are ready to move on your command." the hybrid man/woman known as Baron Ashura responded, each half of it's body taking turns speaking. It stood within Saluud, a massive yellow Submarine that was moving towards the shoreline. ![]() "Ashura step aside, only I, Count Brocken and the Guul are needed for this job! Dr. Hell has no need for a failure such as yourself." Brocken taunted with his head in his right arm, laughing heartily as he did so. High in the sky the aerial fortress known only as Guul flew, waiting for the moment to strike. Ashura seemed to ignore Brocken's taunting, though visibly showed signs of frustrations. "Why is he here anyway, Dr. Hell!? I have been your loyalest servant, I and the Ashura Corps are more than enough for this!" "FOOLS! Do not forget your goal here! Put aside your differences, as today we are going to destroy Atami and claim the Photon Lab for ourselves! Now go forth my minions! Destroy everything and retrieve it! Retrieve the Japanium Ore and that blasted Photon Energy!" Dr. Hell barked, causing both Brocken and Ashura to stiffen up, though it was clear they were still agitated about working together... Location: Atami, Japan. A city that was freshly rebuilt...one that housed a power that many thought nothing of: Photon Energy, fueled by a mineral located underneath the soil of Mt. Fuji: Japanium Ore. Such was gathered and used at the Photon Power Laboratory that stood at the mountain's base. However, the normally quiet and peaceful Lab was in for a rude awakening... Because the giant Saluud would crash onto the shoreline of the city closest to the Photon Lab: Atami. Immediately, it would open it's hatches and lowered a ramp for those onboard to exit. Numerous soldiers wearing golden helmets marched forth, both mounted and not, and advanced towards the city...but they were not the only things onboard. Standing atop a risen platform Baron Ashura pointed his Staff of Bardos forward and issued a single command: "GO FORTH ASHURA CORPS! AND GO FORTH MECHANICAL BEASTS!" ![]() ![]() ![]() "GARADA K7!" "DOUBLAS M2!" "KINGDAN X10!" The giant beasts lumbered forward, but that was not the end of it, high in the sky the second General of Dr. Hell's army, Count Brocken and the Guul flew high in the sky, and began it's descent. Much like Ashura, Count Brocken had ordered his own compliment of Mechanical Beasts to deploy, along with his winged variants of the Iron Mask troops. ![]() ![]() "GARUDA C3! FANGAS B7! ONWARDS TO THE PHOTON LAB! WE CAN JUST IGNORE THE CITY!" Brocken cackled, using the flying advantage he had over Ashura to get ahead. He would claim the Photon Lab quickly and return to Dr. Hell, further proving that Ashura wasn't needed to begin with. "It's Dr. Hell again? Deploy the Mazinger Army!" the man known as Professor Yumi ordered as alarms around the Lab's premises were blaring. This was the first time they had to deal with such a large scale assault...their current forces were just not enough, and it seemed the Lab's patented Photon Barrier was not ready in time. Suffice to say, a call for help, across all worlds, was sent... ![]() And in the midst of the chaos, a lone black man stood, hidden within the forests of the Photon Lab, moving his hands in strange ways, chanting in a language long forgotten...and around him Heartless were spawning...but they were also acting very oddly, well, even odder than their normal movement patterns. Whatever it was, it was bound to be...trouble. |

![]() “So, this is Legacy no Sekai huh?” Hajime commented to no one in particular as he gently soars the sky of this relatively unknown world with Mazinger Z, the invincible castle of the sky that he had obtained from some time ago. Its pristine black and white Chogokin Z alloy armor reflects the morning sun unerringly. “It sure is; brings some memory back even though it’s a different world completely.” On one of the many cockpit panels inside the cockpit, the small holographic image of Grandpa stood crookedly, ‘watching’ the sky as well. “Your world was the same as this huh? Wonder if I can visit it one day when all the worlds are restored.” Hajime wondered happily: over the time since obtaining Mazinger Z, Hajime had build a close rapport with the super robot’s AI, and had looked up to it like a real grandfather he can call his own… “Heh, maybe. But first we got to save this one first. And if it’s anything like my world, then you’re in for another one Hell of a fight kid.” Grandpa said, turning to face Hajime. “You have the machine, but it’s in your hand, so use it to your heart’s content and don’t falter.” “’Cause I alone can decide if I can turn Mazinger into a God or Devil, right?” Hajime quipped in with a wink. “Damn Straight!” “Yosh.” Hajime then said, his foot ready on the throttle. “Hajime Go, ready to go, Count Zero!” With that, he floors the accelerator and sends Mazinger Z rocketing downwards towards Atami City where a giant yellow submarine had already surfaced and began deploying soldiers and more dangerously, monstrous beast like robots that sends slight shivers down Hajime’s spine. Still, he steeled his resolve to fight and protect this world as much as he and others had done in other countless worlds they’ve been on: this shouldn’t be any different. Mazinger Z descended down onto the ground and after righting itself up, Hajime touches down gently on to the ground, albeit digging and carving up a line in the tarmac in the road. Hajime would have set down near a group of the oddly helmeted soldiers, and looking down at them from the safety of his cockpit, Hajime braces Mazinger Z slightly as it lifts its head in position while also grabbing hold of a lever to his left. “All of you, shall not, pass!” Hajime declared boldly, pushing the lever up a notch and shouted, “RUSTO HURRICANE!” And from the grills on its 'mouth', Mazinger Z blows out a powerful wind laced with acid at the foot soldiers as the first counter against this fire war! |

![]() Soaring high in the skies near Atami is a giant dragon. A giant spaceship dragon that is, not the mythological ones. Inside the dragon is an old man, his beard showing his age. "Mitsuki, are you really sure that you want to do this? We don't even know where we are!" he said while opening up the communication link to another part of the ship. He was still confused, as a few hours ago, he was in space, on the way back to earth, and now, he is back on earth that isn't really his earth. "Dad, you know that we can't just leave these guys alone! If there are people who needs our help, we must go and help them!" replied the girl he was talking to. This girl is his daughter, and she has actually saved the earth once. And now, she is sitting inside the head of the Daikuumaryu, the space ship he built a few years ago. At first, it was intended to be used as a space exploration ship that will allow people to stay in space for a prolonged amount of time, but during the conflict with the Dark Horror Army, the Daikuumaryu acted as Mitsuki's support and mobile base. "I mean, I'm also worried about the people in Darius and my friends on earth, but right now, these guys need our help!" the girl continued. Deep down, she was really worried about the safety of everyone back on earth and Darius, but the current situation is more pressing, and because of that, she will do her best to help out the people here, and then find out where exactly she is. Even though they have just arrived in this world a few hours ago, the Daikuumaryu actually received a distress signal coming from this area. Mitsuki, who was about to go out and find out where they are quickly rushed back to the main bridge, and asked her dad to actually find out where the distress signal is coming from. The computer quickly processed the signal in order to find out proper coordinates for the problem, and the Daikuumaryu's autopilot was able to quickly get them there. "Mitsuki, I'm seeing a large source of energy surrounded by a number of smaller energy sources nearby." the professor said to the communication line while paying close attention to the radar in front of him. "Well dad, let's do this! We must help these guys!" Mitsuki replied back. For some reason, Mitsuki was actually excited. Her heart was beating quicker and quicker as they got closer to the area. This feeling of excitement help lessen her worry about the Earth and Darius, because for now, what really matters is helping out those who are in dire need. When the huge ship got to Atami, a smaller black robot with red wings have already started fighting the invading army. "Dad, I think he might be an ally, let's help him out!" said Mitsuki, with her fingers already in the panel that controls the ship's weapons. "Alright Mitsuki, lets use the Dragon Cutters!" answered her father who was currently in the process of opening a communication link to the black robot. "To the black robot over there, this is the Daikuumaryu, we will assist you!" With her dad's permission, Mitsuki quickly pressed a button while shouting "DRAGON CUTTER!", and the ship's front wings opened up to reveal a pair of gigantic blades before launching it to attack the group of masked footsoldiers! |

"You are certain you received warning signals from around here?" Arietta asked Miku Hachune uneasily, looking around this new world they found themselves in. Having spent enough time in Traverse Town, the both of them had decided that it would be good to explore the other universes for some hint of answers. They had just arrived at the Gummi Ship dock when Miku's twintails had started spinning rapidly and she claimed that there were unknown mechanical signatures coming from the World of Legacy. Which is why they were here right now. "Miku's sensors are never wrong!" The android hmphed, stamping its foot. They had arrived safely and everything...seemed to be in order. There was an uneasy feeling in Arietta's gut, but she wasn't willing to go on what could be a massive goose chase. Suddenly, Miku's eyes widened and she tugged on Arietta's arm. "I found the source of the signal! It's from a place called Atami! If we hurry, we can make it in time to find out what it is! Maybe they can be friends!" "Okay, let's find an empty spot first, though." Arietta nodded and let her android friend carry her outside of the town. In an open clearing, Arietta pulled out a thin cylindrical key from inside one of her pockets, the polished steel flashing in the sun. With a nod at Miku Hachune, the android clasped its hands together and began chanting softly to herself. With a flash of light, Miku Hachune no longer stood in front of Arietta but instead a massive robot at least three times her size. It was humanoid in appearance, looking more like a massive robotic woman than an actual weapon of war. It bent down, offering a hand to Arietta, who eagerly climbed on top of it. Several runic circles surrounded the singer before she was teleported directly into the cockpit, sitting down in a plush leather seat with her hands holding the controls. The cockpit was mostly standard layout, with many of the features you would see on any other giant robot, besides the low-hanging microphone and several sound and computer systems positioned behind the pilot's chair. Arietta took a look down at her radar screen, surprised to see that there actually were tens...maybe even hundreds of those unknown mechanical signals. "I wonder what they could be...can't be Heartless." She mused to herself as she and her Vocaloid flew towards the unknowns. Two new signals appeared on her radar as well, both registering as unknown. Not a surprise. She sighed and shook her head. She should have realized that her world wouldn't be the only one with mechanical...beings? "Get us there faster...Sonic Boosters to max power." "Right away, Ari!" The AI chirped out happily as even more power was diverted to the foot-based thrusters, the Miku Hatsune traveling at over 150% of its normal speed. It wasn't long before she arrived at the scene, the Boosters sparking from overload as it slowly settled down to the ground. Miku gave a whining sound. "Don't overload them so much, Ariiii...it hurts..." "Sorry, Miku." Arietta said with a faint smile. "I wanted to get here as fast as possible, that's all..." She looked at the scene before her. A massive horde of evil-looking mecha beasts versus what appeared to be a giant dragon-shaped battleship and another robot with giant red wings. Arietta really had no clue who they were or where these people came from, but it seemed obvious which side to go for. I mean, even if you ignored everything else about the invasion...the enemies clearly looked evil. "Well Miku...I think we've already chose sides. Let's start things off nice and slow...make sure your weapons are in perfect shape, okay?" She said softly as she gripped her hands on the controls. "Let's do the needles, okay?" "Right away, Ari!" The Vocaloid positioned itself on a higher outcropping to get the best view of the incoming invasion, its massive green twintails pointing straight at the enemy. "Twintail Nadeln, firing at max speed!" Suddenly, thin green needles of energy burst out from the twintails like a shower of arrows coming to skewer the footsoldiers like pincushions. |

Meteor On Ready?

Back at BOARD HQ, an alarm had sounded that there was trouble brewing on another world... the World of Legacy. Not only was there inner conflict surging, but the Dark levels had also spiked. If left alone, the world would surely collapse on itself and be devoured by Heartless! All active members were of course sortied, having been warned ahead of time that unlike the other worlds, Legacy was very... different. It was based upon a world overrun by technology, where rather than fighting hand-to-hand, conflicts were won or lost by piloting giant mecha. As such, anyone entering the world would likely find themselves pilots whether they liked it or not. Taiga Aisaka and Ryuuji were prepared. Their encounter with Zorc had taught them exactly what they needed to know about giant opponents, so together they had come up with a plan should any similar situations arise in the future. This particular mission would be the first time the refits to the ZeroLiner had been tested, but as far as taiga was concerned, it was the perfect reason to do so. As the ZeroLiner crossed the dimensional border into Legacy no Sekai, its driver was already in Zeronos Armor, sitting in the cockpit of the train. All right, Ryuuji! Do it! "YOSHA!" KING ZERONOS, DRIVE IGNITION! HEN...KEI! KING ZERONOS, DRIVE IGNITION! HEN...KEI! The train suddenly contorted in midair, separating into two parts that then expanded out entirely new sections which seemed to defy the laws of space. Where had those sections been stored!? How could a train that size suddenly become twice as big!? It didn't matter. What mattered was it had now recombined to become...! ![]() KING ZERONOS! Ryuuji! Enemies, 12 o'clock low! "Got 'em! LINER--!" --NAGINATA--! "--CUTTER!!!" What used to be the rotors of the ZeroLiner's helicopter form spun about on King Zeronos's left arm, the arm then winding back and thrusting forth to send the spinning blade whizzing through the air towards Brocken's flying soldiers like a massive boomerang! Of course, Taiga and Ryuuji weren't the only ones who jumped on this opportunity. Despite facing unspeakable outcomes in her previous missions and deciding to lay low for a while, Ayane Isuzu could not resist one more sortie. Not when they had finally found the portal she hoped against all hope would not exist. When she had arrived in Traverse Town and discovered the other world fragments, there was always a lingering thought that one of the fragments would be that of Legacy. In her travels for BOARD, though, she never found any portal leading there. This changed everything. The world's location had been revealed. She had to go. So she suited up, hopped aboard AutoVajin, and allowed it to take her right to the portal into Legacy. If it was anything like the other worlds, then as soon as she passed through the rift, she'd emerge on the other side not on a motorcycle, but in-- [BGM OVERRIDE: Shutsugeki! Impulse] --a mecha! Specifically, Ayane found herself in the cockpit of what she knew as the Core Splendor, the cockpit section of the Impulse Gundam. While it wasn't her favorite mobile suit by any means, she couldn't help but smile at the irony of being its pilot here. It was as if the world had read her mind and given her a tool tailored specifically to her intentions. "Well, then. Let's give this a shot. CHEST FLYER! LEG FLYER! FORCE SILHOUETTE!" Pressing the docking switches on her console, Ayane pulled the Core Splendor into a fully vertical ascent, ejecting the Core Splendor's external energy tanks and folding it into docking mode. Right on cue--but from where she had no idea--the torso, leg and backpack parts of her mobile suit arrived, guided by the Core Splendor's docking lasers into position and locking in place with a healthy CLANG each time. With all parts in place and systems checking out, she activated the Variable Phase Shift Armor and extended her shield! ![]() "Impulse, Ayane Isuzu, heading out!" Strike wasn't anywhere on radar, for now. So in the interim, she'd at least pretend to be helping out here. She, like the King Zeronos, targeted the airborne flying soldiers and let loose with blasts from her beam rifle! Come out, Strike... I know you'll be here! And when you arrive... I'll be the one to defeat you. Today! RIGHT HERE! |

A train whistle pierced the air as the Denliner finally made its appearance into the scene. "... are you sure you're going to be allright here, Aisia-chan?" Otoha asked as Aisia put her belt and Skygrasper on. "... Yeah. I just... wasn't expecting to go back here so soon," she said gravely before sighing at something else. "... That aside... WHY DID YOU LET NAYUKI-SAN HAVE THAT ATROCIOUS ROBOT?!" "She didn't have a mecha! We have an extra one!" "That doesn't even make any - never mind," Aisia sighed. "I don't have time for this crap." "Just promise me you'll stop when things get rough." "... Shouldn't I ask the same of you?" With that, Aisia leapt out and transformed into Kamen Rider Strike, except, just like in that strange world of Hiros, the Strike Gundam grew back to its normal size. ![]() "... Aisia Asakura! Aile Strike Gundam! Launching!" "Now that she's gone, we should deploy in the Giga Den-O! Ready guys?" Otoha announced. "... And you want ME to pilot it?" Liz sighed. "Of course." "Ehhh? What about our passenger?" Misuzu asked. "It's totally fine. He can launch from the Kingliner's mouth." ![]() Meanwhile, outside, Nayuki was kind of still trying to figure out how to use this strange machine that Otoha lent her. As a result, she was kind of lumbering about on it. "Waaah! What lever does what?" Nayuki panicked even as she slowly pushed the levers every which way. She wasn't even transformed as Kiva at the moment, she was just trying to pilot the damned thing. "Try this one!" Kivat suggested, pointing to a button emblazoned with an eight note on it. "... For all we know it's just the music player!" Nayuki sighed. "Who the hell would install something like that?" "This is her we're talking about... oh well, we haven't pressed it yet anyway, so..." Reluctantly, Nayuki did press the button, and... BGM: Magical Overdrive - H2O Footprints in the Sand OST 31 "... I KNEW IT!" Nayuki cried, but to her surprise, the giant Ototaku Meister raised its arms up in the same position a Mazinger would if it was using breast fire... and it roared! It was using the Spirit Roar, a sound attack meant to debilitate the enemy's movements, and she aimed it at the Garada K7! "... Are you sure she'll be allright?" Liz sighed as she took a seat at the controls of the Denliner, which was namely the motorcycle. "Yes. Anyway! Giga Den-Oh, GATTAI DA!" Otoha said from the red DenLiner train as it and the other four trains flanked the Kingliner. "... Somehow, I'm actually excited at see what's going to happen," Liz chuckled. "ALLRIGHT GUYS! LET'S! VOLT! IN!" BGM: Voltes V no Uta "... Isn't that the wrong-" "WHO CARES!?" Eve and Misuzu's trains formed the legs, while Otoha's and Kanna's trains formed the arms. Then a train emerged from the top of the Kingliner, serving as the Super Robot's head! ![]() "GIGA! DEN! OOOOOOOOH!" "... Hey, I'M the pilot! I'm supposed to be yelling that!" "Oh, my bad." Liz sighed as she lifted her right arm and aimed it at the Doublas M2! "BIRDIE MISSILE!" she yelled as various panels opened on the arm and unleashed a volley of missiles at the beast machine! Meanwhile, Aisia decided to take the fight to the air, unaware that Ayane was waiting for her in the wings. "I won't let you pass here!" Aisia yelled as she took aim with her beam rifle and fired upon the Fangas B7! Edited by Pikachu_Fragger, Feb 14 2010, 08:22 AM.

Even if one discounted the entire 'bunch of time-travelling trains turning into a goddamn super robot' business going on, there was still something quite odd happening inside the KingLiner's chest cavity, now turned into a miniature hangar. For once in his life, Saito Hiraga was utterly lost for words. In front of him was something that shouldn't have looked...no, felt so damn familiar. Gundam Exia. Even from the fleeting glimpses when he slept, there was no doubt. This orange and gray beast sleeping in front of him, the blurry figure in his dreams...they were one and the same. Not that that would stop him from climbing into the cockpit and beginning launch preperations, grinning like the Cheshire cat the entire time and giggling like a giddy schoolgirl. "holycrapholycrapIcan'tbelievethere'saGundamandI'mabouttopilotitmanthisisgonnabeawesome-" Which annoyed the hell out of his partner, the somewhat trashy-looking (and behaving, Saito would probably argue) sword hanging from his back on a worn leather strap. Taking matters into his own hands, Del decided to intervene and shut his owner up before he had to resort to 'accidentally' ejecting him into the ocean. "Yo, aibou!" "What!?" "Shouldn't we, uh, you know....actually launch?" "Bah, shut up, you're no fun!" There was something wrong about this battle. Miyuki and several other riders had been dispatched due to activity that threatened the existance of this world, and yet... ...The battle was nothing extra-ordinary. While large scale battles between mecha would seem ludicrous in other worlds, for this place, while not exceedingly common, neither was it particularly rare. So what was it about this that would trigger an alarm and cause a dispatch? A sensor malfunction? It was a remote possibility, but about as likely as Xenu showing up and bombing the planet from orbit. This is why she was instead on foot, having left the Falken she had arrived in some distance behind. It would have been too conspicuous to use it for what she intended, and instead she'd decided scouting for the cause of the alarm without it was the better way to go. As far the mecha battle, she'd let someone else deal with it. Intervening in the natural events of the world wasn't her business, nor did she really care if it wasn't connected to her objective. For now, it was simply searching and observing for whatever the hell brought them here. |

The screams of pain and anguish the Iron Mask troopers let out as they were horribly decimated in various ways would have been unsettling to most, as they were either vaporized by beam fire, cut in half by giant metallic projectile blades, impaled by mecha sized needles or slowly disintegrated by the corrosive properties of the Rust Hurricane, but in the end, the Iron Mask Troops were nothing but machines, androids mass produced for Dr. Hell's invasion plans. Still, while they were but ants to the small army of mechanoids, they were still a force to be reckoned with by the sheer number of them, as such the the number of soldiers merely regrouped and began spreading out, opening fire upon all the mecha: the ground troops dealing with those grounded and Brocken's flying corps dealing with airborne ones. A mix of rockets and handheld lasers began filling the skies around Atami, and while limited, they were clearly going to make things up with number. The Garada K7 seemed...largely unimpressed by the loud roar, merely stepping back from the force of the roar, but otherwise it was still standing. In retaliation, the skeletal mechanical beast pulled off the two blades attached to it's head and hurled them at the GaoGaiGar knockoff! The Doublas M2 two pairs of eyes lit up the moment the volley of missiles were launched at it: the right head fired a sweeping blast to shoot them down, while the second head fired a concentrated blast at the Giga Den-O! The Fangas B7 merely barrel rolled out of harms way, before sending off a powerful sonic shockwave to counter the Strike Gundam's volley of beams! If that wasn't enough, the Garuda C3 would back up it's flying comrade, launching missiles at the Strike Gundam to compliment the Fangas B7's attack! Last, but not the least however, the KingDan X10 charged through the lines to engage none other than the fortress of iron that soars in the sky: Mazinger Z! With it's sword brandished, it let forth a powerful downwards cleave, aiming to cut the machine in two! "Heh, that ship thinks it can get away with that so easily? All hands! Prepare to assault that giant dragonship! We will show it why this Guul dominates the skies!" Brocken ordered simply enough as the Guul turned and moved to engage the Daiku Maryu. The first step was to unleash a large volley of missiles, and at the same time...the eyes of the flying fortress seemed to start glowing...it was charging up something dangerous! "Yes...engage them directly Brocken...while I, Baron Ashura, prepare to take care of all of these insects in one fell swoop!" the half man/half woman laughed to itself as it returned inside the Saluud, while it didn't appear to be part of the main attacking force, Baron Ashura appeared to have something planned and had merely returned to the Submarine's hangar...where a rather large mechanical beast was slumbering ever so peacefully. The strange black man's chants continued as the Heartless continued to move strangely, almost as if they were being tortured by the man's spells, but otherwise they appeared they weren't ready yet...regardless, he was now giving off a fairly strong magical signature as he prepped his spell...but he wasn't completely defenseless. Numerous figures were moving about the forests and making their way to the Photon Lab... One of the machine's not joining the front lines was a certain blue mecha known as the Gran Kaiser, piloted by none other than Kouta Azuma himself. While none of Dr. Hells army have broken through yet, he didn't pursue going to the front lines...on request by his "girlfriend" of sorts, Miyuki Takamachi. It was discovered shortly after the incident with the Hiro's that the Gravion took an enormous strain on the pilot, more so when only one person is operating it rather than the recommended six. Because of it, Kouta was out due to injury yet again for a good time, and even though he was here and piloting once more, he was still reeling from that time. But...he wouldn't stay behind, more so because it was -this- world specifically, the one that had become his second home. He wouldn't let this one fall. As such, the blue machine remained guarding the lab while it attempted to raise it's Photon Barrier, a large array of weapons laid out beside the Gran Kaiser should it have to use them... Along with the Geo Divas combined into the G-Gladius flying overhead. He was warned not to combine into Sol Gravion but if worse came to worse... |

"Oh yeah, reinforcements!" Hajime exclaimed as soon after he began attacking the foot soldiers, more people soon joined in all shapes and sizes with varying degree of firepower one wouldn't normally expect in them. "Appreciate the help, these guys are just too many and spread out!" "Oi, boy! Watch out, we have incoming!" Granpda warned as Kingdan approaches towards Mazinger "Woah!" Hajime yelped back in surprise at the charging horned giant. "ROCKET PUNCH!" He then shouted, launching both of Mazinger's upper arms hurtling straight towards Kingdan's chest. |

Taiga nodded approvingly as the Naginata Cutter returned from its flight and slammed back into place on the left arm, having torn through dozens of the flying soldiers on its way. I'd say that's a successful test. Let's waste 'em! she whooped, to which Ryuuji--and by extension, the body of Zeronos Vega--merely complied, turning the massive super robot towards the Guul. It was by far the most dangerous-looking opponent in the skies, and if their simple cutter was enough to take out that many grunts, they should have enough firepower to take on their mothership directly! "Okay, Taiga! This time... KINGZEROGASHER...!" ...FIRE!!! King Zeronos raised its massive weapon skyward, seeming to gather lightning from the heavens itself into the tip of the massive crossbow-looking weapon before taking aim at the Guul and letting loose a blast of energy! Ayane's mouth twitched into a small smile as her rifle felled various flying soldiers without any trouble at all. They weren't even putting up much of a fight compared to her mech, and judging from the attacks of the others, they wouldn't be much of a threat to the 'heroes' either. That, and for whatever reason the enemies seemed to be ignoring the smaller foes and going after the larger ones, ignoring Ayane completely. Which was all the better, because it gave her more time to scan the battlefield without being distracted by incoming fire. Which was why she immediately caught the appearance of the Strike Gundam, though it apparently hadn't detected her yet. Either that, or it had and its pilot simply paid the Impulse no mind. "A mistake you'll only make once, Aisia," Ayane said to herself, pressing two switches and calling out into the same private comm line she'd used on arrival. "Blast Silhouette!" Ejecting the Force Silhouette, her Gundam's color faded briefly before the Blast Silhouette arrived, docking in place where the Force had just been. As soon as the connection completed, the colors of the mobile suit changed to match, finishing Impulse's change into Blast Impulse! ![]() Looking down upon Strike, Ayane activated her targeting sensor and pulled it over her visor, tracking the Strike's movements. "Now then... let's see how long you can afford to ignore me. Blast Impulse, Full Burst!" Blast Impulse Gundam unleashed all its weapons at once upon the Strike Gundam, with plasma blasts, railgun shots and missiles all heading right into the other Gundam's current trajectory from above! |

"Uwaaah!" Nayuki gasped as the blades slammed into the shoulder blades, sending the Ototaku Meister stumbling backwards into a nearby building. "Oi! What the hell are you doing, Nayuki!?" Kivat groaned. "This thing has a barrier! Why didn't you use it!?" "It has a barrier?" "..." Kivat had to resist facepalming at that point. "Oi, you really should be more careful with that thing! It's not even yours!" "Sorry..." "Anyway, what else do we have?" "I think we have a rocket punch!" With that, she let loose at the Garada M7 with her twin rocket punches! She wasn't done though apparently... "Eh? What's this?" Nayuki asked as she pulled a lever. With that, a pink beam of energy started to take shape in the giant robot's mouth before unleashing itself at the Garada M7! This was the Spirit Beam! "Ahhh! Dammit, I just had that repainted!" Otoha groaned as Liz dodged the beam. It wasn't easy, given that the damn thing was pretty large, but it wasn't ungainly. "Hey, YOU lent it to her!" Liz admonished Otoha as she unleashed a beam of energy from the Kingliner's mouth and aimed it towards the giant Doublas M2! "IZAKUCHI CHEST CANNON!" Liz roared as she sent the beam cutting across the ground and towards the mecha, aiming to decimate the foot soldiers below before it raced towards the kikaiju! Aisia paid no mind to the gunfire from below. Phase Shift Armor was more than enough to deal with normal physical gunfire, after all, though some of the laser fire could prove problematic. Still, she couldn't figure out why there were so many of them at once- And suddenly alarms flashed. It wasn't the incoming ones that she could see that worried her - it was the ones from above! She pulled her machine to the right away from both the incoming missiles from the giant machines and the Blast Impulse's own beams and missiles. The Blast Impulse's attacks (the beams anyway) might actually hit the foot soldiers below her as a result. As to the sonic shockwave, she had to raise her shield to block it, but it sent her hurtling back into the air some before she managed to right herself and stare at the one who attacked her. A Blast Impulse Gundam. ... Immediately she knew who it was. "Ayane. So... you're here too..." Aisia clenched her shield as she let loose one shot at Ayane's Impulse, aimed for the bulky cannons on her back. "So you've come here too, Ayane... Why!? Why do you keep doing this!?" She still couldn't understand why... |

It seems that killing the masked grunts using the Dragon Cutter has caused the other flying battleship to notice the Daikuumaryu, and launched a volley of missile at it! Of course, with a body made out of Zolmanium, the Daikuumaryu can handle simple attacks like these, and because of that, it just floated there while taking all the missiles shot at it. "Mitsuki, I think the missile volley is just their way of saying hi. I'm detecting a large energy building up from inside that flying fortress!" Dr. Tsuwabuki knew that the Daikuumaryu could handle simple missiles and because of that he focused on actually analysing the other ship. And it doesn't look good. An energy blast of that caliber could potentially do quite a bit of damage to the Daikuumaryu, and this is taking into account its tough Zolmanium alloy. "Well then, let's hit them first before they can hit us! ZAUL GEYSER!" shouted Miyuki as the Daikuumaryu's eyes shone blue and red, and a pair of spiralling energy chain was shot at the Guul! "Ignore me, will you? That's fine...just pretend I don't exist while I blast your army to pieces!" Arietta shouted challengingly as she saw the results of her work, her Vocaloid's needles destroying the opening ranks of the incoming mecha army. But even with her attack joining the others that swamped the enemy, they still tromped forward mindlessly. Gritting her teeth, she aimed the Vocaloid's arms towards the one of the groups of foot soldiers, the rainbow colored reactors within starting to glow with energy. Before she could fire, however, she heard a massive blast behind her and she spun, afraid of a counterattack. Instead she saw two of her supposedly allies attacking each other, both of them probably too caught up in their personal conflict to worry about the giant enemy robot army that was advancing. Arietta gritted her teeth. They were supposed to be working together, not suddenly fighting each other! "Ari...what should we do?" The AI asked. "Concert mode, Miku. You can handle the piloting for now, right? Song repository is loaded?" Arietta murmured, looking down at the console where the chibi figure of Miku Hatsune waved and nodded. "Understood! Concert mode, activating! And don't worry, Ari, I'm sure your feelings will get through to everyone! We're supposed to be here protecting others from harm, after all~" There was a brief flash as Arietta stood up, her pilot's seat sinking into the ground as a microphone dropped down in front of her face. Standing the expanded cockpit, Arietta grasped the microphone with her hands, closing her eyes as she prepared to sing. The Vocaloid's sleeves billowed out, large speakers appearing within the shoulders of the mech. "Concert mode, 100% ready! Knock 'em dead, Arietta!" "Right!" Arietta cleared her throat into the mic as the speakers blasted her message out at full power. "This...This is Arietta Blanc, pilot of the Miku Hatsune! The robot with the green hair! I don't know...any of you, actually, but together I'm sure we can defeat the enemy! So please...for now, let's try to work together!" Her message finished, she took in a deep breath and began to sing at her allies, hoping to use her soothing voice to inspire them to greater heights. The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
|
A green blur of motion. That was the first and last thing that a bunch of low-passing Fangas B7 saw on their radar and scopes, as multiple spreads of 40mm bursts were fired towards them with high-velocity shotput. It was going into a spiraling, erratic barrel roll, as several tail guns popped out to burst rapidly at any of the attacking Garuda that might try a attack from behind. Of course, one can assume that whoever was driving such a weird looking airplane that looked like a prehistoric bird of prey had to be a genius at piloting. Truth is: He always crashed in Flight Simulator games. "This thing better be worth it, Kyra. I didn't have enough cash to buy a parachute." SH grumbled, pushing down on the red buttons on the control panel which switched on the auto-reloading sequence for the 40mm cannons. "Worth every zenny, Master. It was nice of Princess Pride to bring this thing out of storage, since it was gathering dust since World War 3." Kyra replied with a smile, as she showed up on a holo-screen next to the monitor. "It's said that Kingland found this craft lying in a junkyard and reverse-engineered it, since the technology was unknown at that time. It's possible it flew out of one of the transdimensional portals." "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I get it, this so-called 'Raynos' is the combined effort of advanced mechanics. Yet why the heck did we come here?" SH said, disgusted that he had to shoot down the bats, since the Garuda might have shielding equipped. "You are here to do your duty as a ONB. After what we determined in that broadcast once it reached our world, we now know that this world has access to Protonics. Even though their technology is not as advanced as our world, they have made significant strides into robotics." Was the President of Netopia's reply, his image replacing Kyra's screen. "Indeed. Even though we had outlawed robotics after what Dr. Wily did, save for Copyroids, we had not gained enough research on Protonics. Should you succeed in driving the enemy forces away, proceed to copy all files related to the projects that this world has been doing over the last 10 years, no matter how small it may be." Now Princess Pride's image overlapped the President, her yellow hair being combed briskly by Knightman. "Roger that, I'll keep it in mind. SH, out." SH switched off the vid screen and two-way camera, awhile selecting a automated turret for manual control. "How utterly annoying, it always comes down to politics." "Isn't most things though, Master? In any case, some of those newer models appear to be exchanging fire amongst themselves.Should we assist?" Kyra asked. "Negative. Unless the pilot him or herself contacts us, we are to run silent and fought off the invasion." He replied cautiously, foreknowing that the number of enemies vastly outnubered the good guys. And if there was in-fighting, he would have trouble handling the humanoid mechs if they could top his maximum speed. "Just remember the plan, we need to capture one of them intact."
