It was like any other work day for Kouta Azuma, jumping from job to job, working his hardest to make people happy. Of course, it was of note since his little relationship fiasco with Miyuki, he had been pushing himself a little harder than normal. The fact of that matter was, she had been avoiding him lately ever since his impromptu confession and at this point he had been doing whatever he could to get her off his mind, even if it meant returning to his old self. Regardless, he had finally returned home and didn't bother changing out of his work clothes, this time a butler uniform from the cafe he was working at. There wasn't much to be done at this point as he just plopped into his bed. Since he had a dayoff tomorrow he simply hoped that he'd be able to catch up on sleep for once... |

It wouldn't last. With almost impeccable timing, just as he'd finally let himself relax, his phone would ring. Even if he ignored it, it would simply continue without cessation until he answered. |

Karappo no hoshi jidai wo zero kara hajimeyou... And so, because he was too lazy to set his cellphone to silent, Kouta would be in for a rude awakening as he slowly began moving to answer it, grumbling incoherently as the strange song continued to play. Densetsu wa nurikaeru mono... Ima, akuseru wo tokihanate! "I'm coming I'm coming jeez..." he grumbled, cursing the fact he had set the phone to be on ascending, so his continued slowness only made the song play louder. Kuuga! Atsuku yomigaere! Kuuga! Hokori no enajii! Kuuga! Tsuyoku aru tame n- "YES! You have reached the phone of the man of one thousand and nine-hundred ninety skills, please hurry up with your message before I pass out." Kouta answered the phone finally, not bothering looking at who was calling. |

The voice on the other end of the line seemed almost startled by the greeting, but then considering his tendency to overwork himself, she really wasn't surprised. "Oh, you're tired then." the voice noted "I need to discuss something with you. Meet me at garden at the earliest possible convenience. It can wait for awhile." |

... Well that was unexpected. Without so much as waiting for a reply, Miyuki hung up. Which, in Kouta's mind meant that even though she said to come at his convenience, meant that he should be there as soon as possible, as it was most likely work related. So...he rolled out of bed, fixed the suit he was wearing as best as he could and began dragging himself to the designated meeting spot. He figured if he was tired, all he would do was crab a can of coffee from one of the vending machines and be on his way. Whatever it was, he had a feeling he was not going to like it. |

"Decided not to rest?" she asked from her seat. She'd chosen the garden primarily because nobody else ever went her, except Hajime to tend to his plants. It was also because she didn't have to worry about this place being used for work, and so didn't mind dropping the topic of work here. |

"Considering you hung up right away I had no choice but to come here right away." Kouta answered simply enough, crushing the now empty can of coffee he was holding it and tossing it in a nearby wastebin. It was obvious he rushed his way here and was taking a moment to catch his breath before speaking again. "Pretty roundabout way to call me for a job, in a rather remote place too..." Kouta mused, simply leaning against the wall. |

"It's not for a job actually." she said idly "If you remember what you told me some weeks ago, since tomorrow is your day off, I thought perhaps you may want to go somewhere. A rendezvous of sorts." Without changing her expression or tone of voice, she calmly spoke just to test the waters. |

"...you're kidding right? There's probably a catch to this." Kouta stated simply, not really missing a beat. "I'm guessing you lost a bet with Yukari or something? Should I be expecting someone with a hidden camera to come out?" Given how she'd been treating him ever since that time he had every right to be skeptical. |

"No. No strings attached, it's just that." she assured him. She couldn't really blame his skepticism. "It's just what it is. No catch." |

"So...why the change of heart? For the past few days you wouldn't even give me a single second of your time and even had other people sub in for my training sessions." Kouta stated simply. He still wasn't buying it, more so since she just called him out like this like it was nothing at all. |

"I thought you'd like a change of pace." she said, not really looking at him. "You don't have to accept if you don't want to. If you had other plans, or simply don't want to, that's understandable as it is your day off." |

So, in the end, her attitude wasn't any different. If Miyuki was trying to tell Kouta something, the message wasn't going to get through and as such, he pushed himself off the wall and turn to leave. She was in her business mode the entire time, which left Kouta to one conclusion. "I see, you're just trying to justify me working on a day-off. If it's for Undead hunting, sure. I take it I'm the only one left or something?" he too wasn't giving her any eye contact, and it seemed he only had the patience left for one last inquiry. |

"You must be tired. I'll just send you the details later, you should rest for awhile." she said without looking up. "If you had other plans, you don't have to come." |

"...ugh, the way you keep saying that leaves me with no real choice." Kouta groaned. What was she trying to pull anyway? A guilt-trip? Now of all times? "Fine, just tell me where and when, preferably soon, I'd like to set my alarm before I fully crash." Kouta finished as he finally began moving. "See you tomorrow." |
