Elysse had continued to fire at the horde, starting to retreat slightly as it neared. Had there been air support, a few cluster munitions would've decimated this entire horde. But no. She started to run when she felt an odd rumbling in the ground, and saw cracks and waves of earth heading towards them.

Waves and shit of ground.

"Oh hell." She said, as she started to hustle to safety. She'd take pot shots at the horde as well as killing anything in her way, but for now, this was too much. She'd need...well, had she been in charge of a few things she'd had called in an artillery strike.

It was then that the Matador appeared to have teleported with them. Elysse was a btit off, having moved to avoid the Bapho-made Earthquake, and was able to see the thing in question. Letting one hand and a sling hold the weight of the machine gun, she raised one other hand, index finger pointing up, and a few ball bearings floated near her hand. The Matador was still within view, and sent the ball bearings to strike at the Matador at hypersonic speeds, before taking aim once again with the Mk. 48 and firing at the Matador.

"Come on, kid!"DSM yelled from atop the frog which grabbed Django with its tongue as it jumped into the air to avoid the shattering earth and the sword. It landed safely and Django took aim at the Matador. "Don't bother,"DSM said watching Django's attempt to aim. "Black Fire Ball!"DSM made a few hand signs and then the giant frog launched a huge black fire ball at Baphomet (which would also torch the more flamable enemies it passed on its way) while DSM threw a Dark Kunai at the back of the Matador's head aiming for a stealthy kill shot.

Now, let's play together...under the clearest of blue skies.
The laws of this world are different from the laws of my own. But this creature is not. Reasonable assumption that all calculations will apply.

Baphomet is casting a spell with a noticable cast time. High probability that it is Earthquake. Have determined that Baphomet is the normal version as "Great Demon Baphomet" lacks the Earthquake skill.

Baphomet is Demon and Shadow 3. Flee required 276. Hit required 253.

Viable defenses: Aesprika, Deviling, Ghostring, Golden Thief Bug, Raydric, Alligator, Horn, Alice, Angel Wing, Angelic Guard, Exorciser, Hyegun Hat, Khalitzburg, Medusa, Phantom Spear.

Viable defenses possessed: None.

Earthquake is level 5. Not dodgable by flee. Damage will be 3 hits of 1000% ATK. Damage incurred will amount to roughly 84600 divided by the number of total targets hit.

Earthquake's damage is split evenly amongst all targets. Due to the enemy army being within the AoE range, damage will be reduced significantly. However, Earthquake damage is calculated individually for each hit. The first hit will wipe whatever rabble of the enemy army is within range in return for making the damage of the first hit negligible. Calculating only two hits, will sustain 56400 divided by the number of targets hit.

Total allies present: 11. Will amount to an estimated 5120 damage recieved. Estimated damage constitutes 17% of maximum HP.

Conclusion: Damage is sustainable.

Vielle's Aura Blade reforms. However, it is not the anti-army version from before, but the usual sword-bound version. While Vielle dodges the Matador easily, doing so blocks off an opportunity for another anti-army attack. The Lord Knight ignores the Matator and rushes Baphomet.

Wielding a high-tier magic weapon, Vielle is confident that her sword will not break when meeting the demon's scythe. She runs straight through the Earthquake, taking the brunt of the blows but not slowing down. Raising her sword, she engages the demon Baphomet in melee.

"Adam." Vielle references the priest calmly over the cracking earth, "I would respectfully request the following: Heal, Increase Agility, Blessing, Aspersio, Impositio Manus, and Assumptio."

She briefly debated reaching over and hitting Ganta over the head. Briefly. But she decided against it, because now really wasn't the time. Besides, he looked like she was concentrating, which is what she should have been doing. She opened her mouth, about to reply, when she shut it instantly and went rigid for just a moment.

The wind moved.

She didn't know how she felt it, but she did, and Chizu had been in too many fights before not to rely on her instinct. It had come through for her where strategy had not. So the moment she felt the sudden shift in the wind, she decided it was time to get out of wherever she was. She quickly jumped forward and out of the way, feeling a sword cut through the air at her back as she hit the ground. She pushed off the ground with her hands and flipped.

Turning her back against the enemy army was usually a bad idea, but she felt that this time it was probably the best thing to do. She felt the ground shift beneath her feet and stumbled, trying to keep her balance while somehow facing a huge enemy and not get crushed by moving rock. When this was over, she would have words with whoever it was that said fighting didn't require brains.

They would not be pleasant words.

Chizu let out a shout and extended her arms sharply, two blades of wind following along with them. The blades would fly at the Matador, spinning end over end until--she hoped--they would hit him. "I'm listening!" she said to Ganta. He said he had an idea, after all.

"So...we're playing Dungeons and Dragons now?" Lavender glanced briefly over her shoulder at a blond woman decked out in military gear - BDU shirt and pants, along with a load-bearing vest in green/drab olive, as well as a ballistic helmet; she certainly looked geared for war, looking at the equipment she was packing - the aeromancer's eyes went over to Elysse's Mk 48, a heavier version of the Mk 46; chambered for 7.62 instead of 5.56 mm, hence packing a bigger punch; especially in regards to how it dwarfed her own MP7A1. And as if the blond woman had read her mind, she even made a comment on that. "You sure a PDW is gonna be useful against something like them?"

"Well, gotta make do with whatever I'm issued with I suppose," Lavender replied. "Besides, mixing it up close and personal happens to be more my style anyway," the aeromancer smiled wryly. While Elysse was outfitted like a frontliner, Lavender was more of a covert operative - and for all intents and purposes small arms like pistols and submachine guns suited the nature of her missions... except this was no GLADIUS mission. There was no subtlety or covert operations to speak of, it was a frontline battle, not unlike the open battlefields of medieval Europe, or the trenches of the World War 1. It was in moments like these that the aeromancer wished she had the foresight to requisition more dakka from GLADIUS - certainly an assault rifle or light machine gun would've been handy.

The first salvo of attacks unleashed by the group made their mark on the advancing horde, but there were more from whence they came as monsters and undead continued to press forward. "Massive seismic activity, incoming!" Lavender shouted, while at the same time broadcasting to her fellow Arcadians before levitating to avoid Baphomet's earthquake attack. A sudden rush of air, which feels like something was being swung through it at a great speed caught Lavender's attention as the Matador suddenly appeared in their midst, swinging his sword in a wide arc in an attempt to strike multiple combatants.

A sudden blast of wind from Lavender sent her backwards, away from the Matador's scything blow - had her response been any slower, the aeromancer would've found one of her legs lopped off instead of a nick along her right leg, landing on the ground after her evasive maneuver.

"Concentrate your fire on dem bones in the Matador outfit!" Lavender thrust out her right hand, sending a pair of aerowhips in an attempt to trap the Matador's sword arm and restrain the skeletal entity in place for the rest to take their shots at the creature.

Adam watched the Horde start to rush in toward his and the others position now. There were a lot of them and the massive attacks from the others had seemed to thin them out for a few seconds until more holy creates took the place of the fallen ones. It was clear this was going to be an uphill back all the away. Adam sighed, how he get dragged in to this. His arms pointed up aiming his guns at the approaching enemies and without a word he began to open fire.

Shot after shot rang out form his twin .454 Casull caliber handguns in rapped succession. The shots were not bullets but compacted holy energy that looked like white bolts of light as they flew from the guns. Each shot had the impact power of a .454 Casull caliber round and the purifying effect to destroy creatures of darkness. Adam Fired upon any orc or skeleton that came near, aim for ether their heads of chests.

Adam began to say a prayer again as he continued to fire his guns. ”Father who are in heaven , I ask you for the light of your grace to” The ground suddenly started to shake as the monster the behemoth caused and earth quake. Adam was forced to stop his Pray as he began to jump from sections of earth that were up rooted and pushed in to the air by the earth quake the Behemoth caused .
Leaping from the last bit up heaved earth Adam spun in the air firing off his guns at more orcs and skeletons while saying his pray again. “Father who are in heaven, I ask you for the light of your grace to banish darkness” He landed, as he was about to finish, a few feet from the matador, was attacking the others and in returned being attack by them. A magical circle quickly expanded several yard out form where Adam had landed. The Circle encompassed the spot where the matador was. Not missing a beat Adam finished his prayer as the circle expanded out “from this earth in your name. Amen.”

As the word Amen came out of Adam’s mouth the magical circle on the ground stopped grown and suddenly glow a bright white color, what followed next was a rather intense blast of light the filly area of the circle and shot upwards as a massive pillar of light that could be seen across the battle field. The light in fact was a purification way with enough holy energy behind it to obliterate many unholy and dark begins with in its field. Adam hoped to catch the Matador and any orc or skeleton that wondered within the circles while he was casting it with in the light.

The pillars of fire ceased rising, red-hot craters all that remained. Ganta started to reply to Chizu, but was silenced as the sword of the skeletal Matador swung at him. He raised his arms, and the blade sparked across the enchanted steel of his gauntlets, knocking him away from the rest of the group. Ganta landed several yards away, shaking the shock out of his forearms. "Pretty strong for a guy with no muscles." He muttered as the ground began to tremble. He lept back and formed another hand sign as the earth itself seemed to attack him. Jets of flame shot from Ganta's feet, hurling him into the air and avoiding the massive quake. That Matador and Baphomet were going to be trouble if they weren't dealt with quickly. It seemed most of the others were starting to focus on one or the other.

"Chizu, gimme a hand with a little crowd control." He flew over and landed next to her. "I need you to make A steady stream of wind and fire it at the front line. I'll throw in some fire and it'll make it twice as effective. This will probably be the last chance before things move into close quarters combat." Her wind would be able to add strength to his flames, and hopefully they could make a decent dent in the enemy numbers. "I'll start, just put as much wind into it as you can." His hands moved quickly to form the seals he needed. He finished, then stuck out his fists and launched a torrent of flames that made the best of flame throwers look like a cigarette lighter by comparison. The raging inferno tore into the encroaching horde, hungry flames devouring whatever they touched. "Anytime you're ready." he quipped as the flames left his hands.

Oh hell.

Meglumar raised his sword up to block the blow, the steel connecting with other steel and knocking him back. The blows was strong though, and it hurt BAD. It was like his entire skeleton was shaking. His hands HURT to hold the sword, and he ended up having to drop it.

This stupid thing in front of him... He HATED not being able to stand up to it, but the fact of the matter was, really, a boy with a sword was no match for this. He reached into his coat, and removed a bottle of water, getting all too used to using his magics. It seemed to be his greatest asset he had these days.

He aimed at the Matador and unleashed a quick, full strength stream at it's face, infusing it with light as the contents flew at it. One of these days he was going to have to find a way to improve his magical skills.

Wut?
Life got up and looked over his orcs smiling as they stood unwavering. "Good now that I have a squad to defend me and some life in reserve I can assess the fight and choose which side im fighting for." The orcs braced themselves as the oncoming horde bared down unsure if they where friend or foe, but they would not strike first. Life looked up as the matador materialized above him and smiled. "Now this is interesting and I think I know which side im on." Life pointed his bat at the matador and yelled up to it. "Hey if ya want an ally here just tell me what to do, but make a move to attack me and ill destroy you." Life lowered his life bat and started taping the ground absorbing its life.

Her fireball went through the undead, only to get replaced by more..

"damn it all to hell!" Roz cursed

A small voice at the side of Roz reminded her of her little charge.. "Mama.. you swore.. 5 coins into the swear bin when we get back" you hear the smugness in her child's voice..

Oops... again Roz wanted to mentally slap herself.... but. didn't... "Sorry Lexi... but anyway... everytime we attack... they just replenish.." she muttered.

Looking towards the crowd of ever growing undead.. Roz unleashed 10 curved arcs of fire out in every in a 180 degree radius of her being..

hopefully they would slice through the undead for a .. while..

Not to far off considering he went along with the ground troops. Sephiroth manage to decided to go along with the group and join in by attacking the Matador.

He stood clear of Meglumar's stream of light that aim for the being. That wasn't it either, as Sephiroth caught the eye of Adam's symbol being formed on the ground, he gradually jumped off into the air backwards so that when he touched back onto the ground he'll be without reach. Looks like to many of them was aiming at this one being, and it was making it harder for him to get in close without being hit by enemy fire.

"Hadouken!" Before he actually got out range, he made sure to leave something behind this teleporting bull fighter. A flare of flames exit out of Sephiroth's hands in the direction of the Matador, and they were no way tamed so everyone within his range that was caught by his surprised attack might find themselves caught in the blast if they didn't moved.
