NICE DRIVE!
god helps the ones that can't help themselves
this is the beginning
may be too late as far as I can tell
this is the beginning

we think we've come so far
on all our lies we depend
we face our consequence
this is the beginning of the end

Things looked quite bleak for the Nadesico. Now in the sky and facing off against its opponent the crew on the bridge was finally tallying up the severity of the issue. There were several hundred Mobile Dolls assembled who carred no actual designation but were clearly a model well reconized from the history books, Virgo II:

Posted Image

"Everyone that came aboard report to the mobile suit deck immediately and board whatever you can and get out there," Commander Tsukasa barked over a speaker from the bridge, "What do we know?" These final words lodged to the rest of the bridge crew as the comm link was cut off.

Posted Image

"There are several hundred Virgo II present," Megumi began as she continued checking the display, "No vital signs are detected so they are using AI instead of pilots. We're also detecting the energy reading for a larger suit or a mobile armor but there's a lot of interference in the area. We can't detect where it is or if it's just an error."

Posted Image

"The Nadesico's usual pilots have already launched," Aya began picking up where Megumi left off, "They'll hold back and protect the Nadesico so everyone else can focus on fighting. The Distortion Field is at 100% and we've begun charging the Y-Unit as well."

"Alright, I'm counting on all of you. I'll be heading out now as well," Hiro (AITW) spoke in an urgent voice as he nodded in confirmation of the information given. As Hiro (AITW) began to depart from the bridge to join everyone else in battle Nanako Tsukasa, Captain of the Nadesico, turned and stopped him by grasping at his arm.

Posted Image

"Hiro," she spoke in a soft half-pleading tone, "Please be careful? You know who has to be behind this. There's only one way the enemy would have mobile dolls like that with them."

Smiling a little Hiro (AITW) stopped and came back hugging his wife tight against his own body as he kissed her passionately. "I know," Hiro whispered softly, "But because it's him that's why I have to fight. I have to put an end to this once and for all. Please see the Nadesico through this?" Smiling, Nananko nodded in agreement and kissed him once more wrapping her arms around him as if she never wanted to let go.

However, he had to go. Pulling away Hiro (AITW) Tsukasa left the bridge and began to rush towards the mobile suit deck. Others had already launched by this point and he would join them soon. Meanwhile, the endless wall of Virgo II's pulled closer towards the Nadesico.

((OOC: As a heads up Chapter 2 will be divided into several threads. If you wish to pilot some sort of giant robot and fight here this is the thread for you. If you've got a suit already approved for L's world then assume its here. Otherwise, launch in whatever you want but please don't pick anything broken. If you launch in some broken mecha I will edit your post and give you a Leo from Gundam Wing so please use your head. I'll be posting the other 2 areas next so if this isn't your thing then just wait cause there'll be two other areas to fight in.))

The Nadesico, a marvel of mechanical engineering and holder of a machine they have been wanting to use for a long time. With that set, three would follow the Hiro who commanded the Nadeisco. An idea shared in the minds of three individuals, and they would choose against fighting in their area of expertise, to simply get the chance of fighting in a Mobile Suit or what would be preferred by the actual creators, Knightmare Frame.

"Excuse me! Ada you bitch! I WANNA FIGHT THOSE WORTHLESS EXCUSE FOR DEMONS! THEY SEEM LIKE FUN!" Lilith cried to Ada but Ada seemed unmoving. This was going to be her training at piloting a Mobile Suit, so that she could show that she could take control of Wo Shing. Eiji might think that he was, in power but at the moment he wasn't paying attention, she would take his place. That was how politics worked, that was how everything in the world. worked. Ada walked up to the Mobile Suit which seemed to almost call out to her. It's golden, black and red armor made it appear as marvelous as the Nadeisco and it's illustrious size compared to the others made her anxious to see how it worked.

Entering the cockpit of the Mobile Suit, it was very spacious , a Key sitting on the bottom seat as it was a two seater which seemed a surprise. Ada connected her PDA into a USB which she surprisingly found and took the key and started up the Mobile Suit. Flaring up came the start up screen of the Knightmare's the interface, it stated this was Holy Britannian Empire's Royal Knightmare Frame IFX-V301, the Gawain. The five panoramic displays of the Knightmare displayed the information from the outside sensors and cameras, showing her on deck. Looking over to her PDA, it told her the Knightmare was controlled by the dual control joysticks which she went up to the upper seat and had to take down to the lower seat. Following this it told her the uses for the instruments, this few studying bits allowed her to take quick control as she burst out of the deck outside. Looking over files on the interface, she began to see what exactly were the weapons. It held a system known as the Druid System, which plots the trajectories of incoming projectiles, allowing the pilot the best prediction of how to best avoid an incoming projectile or defend against it. It's fingers held miniature Slash Harkens which can be launched as wired missiles, and it features a pair of shoulder-mounted Hadron Cannons, which can emit continuous streams of destructive energy over prodigious ranges which have been improved by a Gefjun Disrupter added on, finally that it was invisible to Radar making it a stealth mobile as well. She began to assess strategies in her head how she would use her machine to perfection, as was always required for herself. "Come and get some." Ada whispered with a smirk. While it was a slow Knightmare Frame, in terms of physical combat, it held powerful defenses and worked well as a Commander Unit or the best at providing the best backup for the other units. She liked the idea.

Leonardo quickly entered the bridge and seeing the battle was at hand, his eyes quickly began to shift from Suit to Mobile Suit, to find which machine would fit him and his Navi, who would probably be interfacing with the Mobile Suit to improve his battling. Finally his eyes catch glimpse of it, a blue and white Mobile suit with a large horn on it's head. Leonardo ran to it, after seeing Ada run behind into the Cockpit of the Gawain. This cockpit was different to the Gawain holding simply one seat, more like the others. Seeing the Key and creating a Jack in Port by finding by some miracle a USB, Leonardo jacked Harpuia.EXE into the Mobile Suit after turning it on with the Key.

The Interface sprung onto screen, 'This is the Holy Britannian Empire's Advanced Special Envoy Engineering Corps Knightmare Frame Z-01b, the Lancelot Club.' "Harpuia get me specs on how to work this thing and get us out on the field now!" Leonardo declared, "Roger that. This thing is operated by the Joysticks on the sides, these panoramic displays are what we see outside. We have information displays on enemy units amongst other things which should be beamed from the ship and video communication feeds as well." Harpuia responded beginning to start up the Air Float system. "The Lancelot Club is equipped with two forearm mounted Slash Harkens, which are wired missiles, as well as two short sword-type Maser Vibration Swords that can combine to from a larger longsword. Also a, Custom Type Assault Rifle with a Grenade Launcher attached. A bit of ammo in it as a first resort. Added to that a Variable Ammunition Repulsion Impact Spitfire (VARIS) particle rifle that is in here, which is best used with the specific 'Sniper-mode' feature for best accuracy. Design features include Blaze Luminous shielding, which are energy shields activated at the forearms to defend from attacks but should be used sparingly as it seems to use a lot of energy, a cockpit ejection system for your safety, Factsphere sensors on the shoulders which a very, very good camera systems, Landspinner Propulsion which is like wheels to make this thing go great on ground and landing gear I guess and the Float System." Harpuia finished as he explained and showed it to his NetOperator. "Alright, Sage Harpuia, Megaman of the Skies, let's terminate this threat." Leonardo declared as they burst outside to the scene flying out into battle with the Assault Rifle, close up it would be Harpuia's blade skills. A combination of Artificial Intelligence and Human Intelligence, this was a force to be feared.

The Nadesico’s hangar was busy and full of personnel and other pilots scrambling to prepare and board the numerous machines that were house here. Hajime was among them, and after given the authorization to make use of whatever they can find in the hangar to help in the upcoming battle, he was now looking around, finding a machine he can ride into battle with.

His eyes rested on a gaunt and black humanoid giant, with red wings spread out on either side of its impressive frame. Hajime wasn’t sure why he had the impression of an invincible steel castle when looking at it. But it was enough for him to decide to use it, and he eventually got up to the cockpit on the thing’s crown.

Posted Image

Settling in the cockpit, Hajime was in the middle of looking over the control systems when a small ring of light on console panel appeared and from it, a figure of an ugly yet frightening looking old man in a lab coat appeared. Besides being small, the figure was also sporting a tail like cable with a twin power plug for a tip.

Posted Image

“Who are ya and what’re ya doing on my machine?” It demanded rudely, pointing a finger at a stupefied Hajime.

“Um, I’m-“

"Don’t bother, I don’t need your name.” It cut off before Hajime could finish. “What’s going on? Are we needed? Are there some asses that needs some righteous kicking? Don’t just stare there and look stupid boy, say something!”

Regular folks would have been instantly turned off by something so small yet rude, but Hajime seems to pay no mind to the thing’s harsh words. “Yeah, you bet. We’re all going to launch now.” He replied confidently.

“Is that so eh?” The old man said thoughtfully. “Then ya’ve boarded the right machine! This is my pride and joy, Mazinger Z! And I’m this machine’s AI, Ultra Gorgeous Computer, Grandpa, built in by the same guy who made this masterpiece of a super robot: me!”

“So, you’re the designer of this thing and uploaded an AI of yourself into it?” Hajime asks, poking the figure which turns out to be a holographic image: his fingers went through and out on the other side of it.

“Of course I am, I already said so! Pay attention will ya! Kids these days, sheesh.” The AI said condescendingly.

“Sorry.” Hajime tried to apologize.

“Now’s not the time for that, we gotta move! I already got a confirmation from the ship’s computer. So, first thing first, do you know how to ride a bike?” Hajime responded with a nod. “Good, then you won’t have much trouble controlling Mazinger here; I designed the controls to be almost similar to riding a bike.”

“Okay, let’s see where this goes!” Hajime replied enthusiastically, finally going somewhere with this.

Grandpa laughed heartily. “Good, I like you boy. Now, let’s get this moving…”

---

Moments later, after some fumbling about and well learned lesson, Hajime finally launches out with Mazinger Z, wings full open and arms outstretched to the enemy filled sky beyond.

Posted Image

For a short while, Hajime was trying to get use to the flying controls and once he mastered with Grandpa’s good word that he would, Hajime landed on the round and large ‘Nergal’ symbol on the Nadesico’s Y-Unit.

“That… that was cool!” Hajime exclaimed with a smile on his face and a ‘glint’ in his eyes.

“Isn’t it? It’s my masterpiece after all, and ya’ve only just scratched the surface of its awesomeness. Listen, it’s all up to you now, boy. I’ve only made the machine, and you’re to pilot it. I didn’t just make this super robot just for the hell of it. But in your hands, you can become god, or the devil itself. Show me what you got boy, and maybe I might consider you to be its rightful pilot.”

Duo watched as mechs and Mobile Suits launched from the hanger, headed out to face down the massive enemy force outside. He leaned against the back wall and shook his head, wondering how this would all turn out. He hadn't meant to come here, actually he hadn't even realized what was going on. One second he was entering a gate, and the next he was standing on top of this ship, the crew scrambling to get him inside. He had gotten a quick run-down of what was going on. It sounded like a heck of a brawl was coming, and he couldn't help but get involved.

He sighed and looked at all the mechs were much larger than his Deathscythe armor, but he was confident his scythe could cut through the armor of any of the other mechs there without any trouble, which meant the enemy would be no problem. He sighed and stretched. "Oh well, no helping it I guess, time to get to work." he said, grinning as he took off sprinting down the hanger, pilots staring at him in disbelief as he threw himself out of the ship and into the darkened sky. "WOOOOOOOOHOOO!!"

His ponytail whipped around behind him as he activated his armor, the metal plates and emerging till he was fully covered, the wings wrapped around him at first, but quickly spreading outward, and he swung up and around to join his new compatriots as they faced down the enemy. He pulled out his scythe, the long green blade erupting from the tip, as if eager to carve a path through anything that stood in their way.

The DenLiner was now flying alongside the Nadesico as they approached the incoming Mobile Dolls. They could have gone up with everyone else in the Nadesico, but Otoha couldn't do that, not with the terrible thing they were about to unleash. Not to mention there were probably a lot of people deploying from the Nadesico to begin with, so this would have to do.

"... Otoha, you had better not be doing what I think you're doing," Aisia sighed. "This is a completely different universe with a completely different set of rules! You don't know what this could do!"
"Ehhh, but I want to use it here!" Otoha whimpered. "Besides, I'm sure the other girls would be willing to pilot it too!"
"But why not use Giga Den-O!?"
"... That would be boring."

Aisia sighed. It seemed that there would be no stopping Otoha from doing this. "Fine, but if you cause someone headaches because of this, I'm blaming you."
With that, Aisia opened the DenLiner's door and jumped out into the air, but not before slapping her Skygrasper onto her belt. If this world was just like Legacy's, then it should work!...

BGM: Strike Shutsugeki - Gundam SEED OST

"DEROOOOO! STRIIIKE!"
[CAST ON | CHANGE AILE STRIKE]

But instead of simply transforming into Kamen Rider Strike, she completed the transformation and the armor expanded to its original size around her, the dull gray of the armor suddenly gaining color as the Phase Shift Armor was activated.

Aisia was no longer using just the Kamen Rider form of Strike. This was now the original GATX-105 Aile Strike Gundam!
"Aisia Asakura! Aile Strike! Launching!" Aisia yelled as she blasted off towards the Virgo IIs. This Strike was now fundamentally different in one aspect...

Code:

OOC: Basically, this is the same as the Strike Gundam, but instead of needing to return to the Nadesico to swap packs if need be, she can just swap packs immediately ala Gundam Versus Gundam.

"Yosh. Girls, you ready to do something awesome?" Otoha grinned to herself as she inputted something on her computer:
Code:

>>/R/ MAGICAL OVERDRIVE PLOX - INSERT KEY, RECEIVE GATTAI

"... We're really doing this," Liz sighed.
"Of course! Oh, and I'm possessing you for this one."
"Of course."

MEANWHILE IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FORUM

Posted Image "... Insert key, receive gattai?"
Posted Image "Oh. She wants us to deploy... THAT."
Posted Image "<3"

Summon Phase:
Unit summoned: Ototaku Meister
Unit unsummoned:

"And you guys better stick with me on this one!"
"Nihahaha... I'm actually kind of excited about this, so you can string me along," Misuzu chuckled.
"Let's make them cry!" Kanna grunted.
"And let's defeat them, okay? I won't be listening to them!" Eve said.

With that, all of them were absorbed into Liz, who had Otoha take over her as they leapt out after Aisia!

BGM: Final Fusion - GaoGaiGar

Suddenly, a portal appeared and out came a giant robot lion (that had black and white ribbons with eight notes on its head for some reason) that swallowed the falling OtoLiz, followed by a flying drill, submarine, and plane!
"YOOOSHAAA! From start to finish, let's make this a Climax! MAGICAL MAGICAL OVERDRIIIIIIVE!"
A column of magical energy covered them as they continued transforming... no, combining together! The drill machines split up and became thicker armored legs with drills for the white lion's kneecaps, while the twin-hulled submarine split as well an became the upper arms and shoulders for the robot. Finally, the plane descended on the machine's back, and the large turbine-like cannons became the lower arms and fists!

What emerged from the magical pillar of light was a new hero, a machine of magical courage and strength! A terrible machine to protect the humanity and culture of this dimension! This robot's name was...

"Charara!~ SPIRIT ROBOT OTOTAKU MEISTER, KAREN NI SANJOU!"

Before he became a Rider, Kouta took pride in one skill...the ability to pilot a giant robot. Of course, the problem lied in one thing: the robot he piloted was lost in the space between spaces. That did not stop him from joining the Nadesico crew on the grounds of being able to use a giant humanoid weapon...the trick was finding something he himself could use without trouble.

Not to mention feelings from another battle he had in a different mecha were bugging him: was he cheating on his partner, the Compatikaiser, by using a different mecha? It was odd, but the bond he shared with his mech was that strong. For him, a mecha was not a tool, but an extension of his body, both he and the mecha were always one.

Of course, Kouta would not mope about this in the hangar long. A single mecha caught his eye, one that felt so eerily familiar to the Compatikaiser but yet completely different.

Posted Image
Posted Image

It was called the Gran Kaiser, and stored with it were four machines: The Geo Javelin, a drill tank, two fighters known as the Geo Stinger and Geo Calibur and lastly, a bomber known as the Geo Mirage. Kouta was drawn to this particular team of units and ended up boarding the Gran Kaiser. According to the mechanics the component pieces were loaded with a Phantom System, which allowed Kouta to control them from the Kaiser.

The Gran Kaiser would launch out with the Geo Divas following shortly after. Immediately, Kouta would know what to do, somehow feeling a sense of familiarity from the controls as he shouted a single command.

"ELGO FOOOOOOOOORM!"
[BGM: Enou Gasshin: Sol Gravion]

The machines would soon be encased in a green tornado created by Graviton energy, as the machines began flying in formation: Gran Kaiser in the middle, the Stinger and the Calibur behind it and the Geo Javelin splitting in half and flying in front of it. The emblem of G would form as the Geo Mirage flew ahead as Kouta began the next step of the combination.

"ENOU GASSHIN!"

Moving his arms and making a pose the machine's followed his orders as the combination began. The Gran Kaiser's arms folded back into it's shoulders while the Geo Javelin docked into the sockets, each hand folding out the moment they connected. The Stinger and the Calibur would attach to the legs to become the machine's feet and finally, the Geo Mirage would descend and cover the robot's upper torso. Finally, two sides of a helmet would attach to the Kaiser's head, as the green eyes the machine bore flashed.

"KOURIN! ENOU GASSHIN! SOL GRAVIOOOOOON!"

The cores began glowing as the final touch, the faceplate closed, the combination was complete and the Flame Emperor, Sol Gravion was born!

And so the Pendragon makes her maiden flight on SHHS.

Selene didn't know why she chose to be here, on board the Nadesico to join the sky battle instead of the ground engagement below. The Briton couldn't quite put her finger to it, but she felt compelled to be here - it was as if an unknown force called out to her. And that was when it caught her eye. "Cor blimey..." Selene gasped in amazement as she looked up at the mecha that stood before her.

Spoiler: click to toggle

The young Briton blinked in surprise as she stepped towards the mecha, designed in the likeness of a female knight. She'd only seen the design blueprints of the thing in Frostfire Industries' database, who'd have thought that somewhere, in another world - someone actually built the thing? It was totally beyond her imagination, as Selene reached out to touch the mecha's foot with an outstretched hand, and for a moment felt a rush of emotion overwhelm her. But more to the point, she felt something different about this one; perhaps it was designed to be a mere machine on the blueprints, but her magically-attuned senses picked up something more to it.

"Miss Frostfire, Gundam Pendragon is ready for launch," A mechanic at the mecha bay called out to the Briton, snapping her out of her reverie, and as Selene looked up, the man gave her a thumbs up. For a second Selene looked blankly, wondering how he knew her name.

"Come on, there's no time for spacing out; time to get out there and sock it to them!" The mechanic continued, gesturing towards the Pendragon's cockpit.

"There must've been a misunderstanding... nevermind," Selene shrugged as she climbed up the boarding ramp and into the Pendragon's open cockpit. The interior was almost identical to what was presented in the design blueprints, which were pretty intuitive to grasp for the most part as the Briton started up the Pendragon, booting up the operating system and running the diagnostics. With a hiss, the cockpit mechanisms engaged as Selene hit a switch, closing the Pendragon's cockpit and pressurizing the interior.

"GF1-001UK, Gundam Pendragon. All systems green." The readouts on the main console displayed the MS' status. Selene took a deep breath before strapping herself into the seat; she wondered what kind of mess had she just gotten herself into. As soon as her hands grasped the control handles, the Briton recoiled slightly as she felt as tingling sensation on her right hand. Instinctively raising her right hand, Selene was surprised to find a glowing symbol appear on the back of her right hand, remaining there briefly before fading away. But Selene recognized that symbol - it was a command seal, the sign of a contract between a Magus and a Servant. Just what was going on?

Posted Image
"Greetings, Master," right in front of Selene's eyes, the spectral visage of a blond woman with a regal air about her and clad in armor appeared before the Briton, bowing slightly to acknowledge her master's presence.

"Master?" Selene spluttered.

"Yes, Servant Saber - at your service," Saber replied, although the heroic spirit's answer only elicited a confused look from Selene. "But enough talk for now - our enemies await." The visage of Saber vanished, leaving Selene alone inside the cockpit as a display window popped up on the screen, warning the Briton of an impending launch.

"Selene, Selene... just what have you gotten yourself into this time?" Selene sighed as the Pendragon launched from the Nadesico, ready to join the fray!

Shortly after the Pendragon launched, pilot Selene Frostfire arrived at where her MS was docked, only to find that the Pendragon was gone. "Excuse me, where's the Pendragon?" The Briton asked as she approached a mechanic, only to have him look at her with a puzzled expression.

"You're here again?" The mechanic gawked. "But that couldn't be... you came here just now and launched..." his voice trailed off. Come to think of it, there was something amiss, seeing how the other girl who looked like Selene came up in a flowing white dress instead of an Earth Federation pilot suit, but he didn't give much thought to the girl's choice of outfit, until now. And so, a mechanic received a punch to the eye, while a Selene Frostfire from an alternate universe stomped her foot in frustration.

Randy felt really out-of-place, piloting a Gummi Ship against a horde of humanoid mechas. He barely had a week's worth of piloting experience, and the ship itself hadn't been fully decked out by far. The Blackjack was still using a rather basic frame, with just a pair of Thunder-G for weapons and a pair of Fire-G for engines. He hadn't had a chance to properly customize the ship, and even if he had, could he afford the upgrades? He really didn't know.

In any case, Randy found himself flying up to the swarm of Virgo IIs and firing two continuous streams of electrified pellets at them. It slowly dawned on him that he had been rather hasty in choosing to use the Blackjack here, but now that he'd made his decision, he would stay by it. A miniature hologram of Spectrum stands atop the control deck, keeping Randy informed of pertinent information, such as incoming attacks from enemies. Randy remains silent the whole time, his full attention being focused on the enemies at hand.

((OOC: Gonna kinda half-ass this for now since only one person attacked so far))

The stream of energy fire from Randy's Gummi Ship smashed into one of the lead Virgo II's utterly destroying it from the repeated fire. As the smoke of its small explosion rose out clouding the area a little the other Virgo's sprung into action all suddenly breaking their tight formation and kicking off the battle.

Breaking off into small squads of three the Virgo II approached each unit that had launched separately. Positioning themselves properly each three-Virgo II Squad surrounded their targets in a triangle pattern and all in unison began firing volleys from the beam rifles they carried. However, this would not be the only concern of the pilots there. As the greater mass of Virgo II's still advanced all drawing their weapons and firing at random making an endless volley of constant beams to either dodge or block or at least keep aware of enough to stay out of their paths.

All around those fighting would feel an odd pressure almost as if something were being pressed against their forehead though for the time it might not quite be clear what this was. Some might attribute it to nervousness at such a large scale battle with such a high stake. However, this was merely the warning of something far worse to come.

====

Meanwhile, aboard the Nadesico a Gundam was suddenly positioned and cleared for launch. Sitting in the cockpit Commander Tsukasa exhaled slowly and grasped the controls.

Posted Image

"Hiro Tsukasa, Gundam Limited, let's end this!" He cried out in eagerness as the eyes to Gundam Limited flashed green to life and suddenly the mobile suit was launched out. Wasting no time Gundam Limited blasted forth at top speed easily catching up with those that already launched as Hiro hailed the other units.

"Everyone be careful," he spoke in a concerned but commanding tone, "We're at a huge disadvantage so don't let yourself become isolated from the sight of others or they'll pick us off in waves." Just in that moment as Hiro closed the comm link he felt a sudden flash of mental energy; his newtype senses had picked up another pilot still hidden from the battle. "Here's here," he mumbled softly to himself, "Kusanagi..."

"...Heh, the hard-on for mobile dolls seems to be commonplace in the Universal Century." Kouta quipped, gripping the controls and activating the thrusters on the Sol Gravion. He knew he wouldn't be able to dodge everything, the Flame Emperor was far too large to do so, but at the same time, it's size and armor wouldn't be able to take a full volley like that...it didn't really help the firing pattern was completely random, so it was hard to setup a proper defense.

He wasn't making fancy movements to dodge as such, just the minimal needed by moving out of the way, but even then he'd be caught in the crossfire as beam after beam passed by, and occasionally collided with the mighty robot, the beam cannons easily piercing through the armor, melting areas and taking chunks off....but even then, the machine stood firm.

"Tch...they're not gonna let up so I'm going to have to counter before I get myself killed out here..." Kouta muttered, bracing the mech as the green chest gem and the barrels of the cannon began glowing, charging up a large amount of Graviton energy, all of which began focusing in a lens right before the machine.

"Sol..." the lens was providing a makeshift shield, but he was still performing the attack under fire, but soon enough, a massive blast of energy would fire out as Kouta roared out the attack. "GRAVITON NOVA!" The purple blast shot forth, aiming to tear apart as many of the Virgo IIs that were in front of the Gravion as possible.

It was of note Kouta seemed to be struggling within the cockpit, not just from the strange "pressure" that the battlefield possessed...but something that came simply from using this unit. His stubbornness paid no attention to it, however. Absorbed in the heat of battle, he was simply trying to aid everyone in their advance.

Duo grinned as the Virgos started to break off into groups to take them all on. Such pitiful suits weren't going to be slowing him down, not while he had Deathscythe. The dolls were never even going to know what had hit them. He mentally activated his Hyper Jammers and Active Cloak, essentially causing himself to vanish from radar and visual spectrums. The first group that had been heading for him halted as the computers piloting them tried to relocate their missing target. As the suits hovered back to back, Duo slipped inside the gaps between them. In the next instant all three of the suits were decapitated, their now limp bodies falling before exploding. "Three down, another few thousand to go." He said as he turned to face the oncoming forces.

The next few groups opened fire immediately, trying to overwhelm him with blasts from their beam cannons. Folding his wings over his body, Duo nimbly dodged every shot that came his way, glad to be piloting such a small target as he watched some of the larger mechs get peppered with enemy fire. He extended the scythe blade as he drew closer and one by one started slicing the Virgos in half, deflecting a shot with his armored wing. Duo had noticed the strange pressure against his forehead and had set the health monitors and life support systems to keep a watch on any changes in his brainwaves or overall health.

For a few seconds Selene was just mystified by the marvel that was the Pendragon, a fusion of technology and magic. However, now was not the time for the Briton to be awestruck as a transmission came in over the communications channel, followed by a green blip appearing on the radar, indicating the arrival of another friendly unit.

"Everyone be careful," A young man who strangely bore a resemblance to the Hiro that Selene knew flashed onto the video feed, speaking in a commanding yet concerned tone. "We're at a huge disadvantage so don't let yourself become isolated from the sight of others or they'll pick us off in waves."

"So... just what can this one do?" Selene asked as she tightened her grip around the control handles, looking at the mass of red blips on the radar map, before glancing over at a display window showing the Pendragon's weapon status and available weapon systems. "All right, activating Excalibur," Selene said to herself as her left hand let go of the control handle and tapped on the holographic projection of the Pendragon's sword.

The Pendragon unsheathed Excalibur, the replica of the servant's sword humming as the energy field powered up, causing the sword to take on a ghostlike, semi-invisible quality as the knightly Gundam entered a ready stance, sword held in both hands.

Following the Sol Gravion's Graviton Nova attack, Selene saw this as a cue to bring the Pendragon forward as the knightly Gundam fired up its own thrusters - the Briton had no idea how that was possible; the design specifications of the Pendragon showed that the thrusters were merely there to provide stability; perhaps Saber had something to do with it, but really, there was no time for speculating.

With thrusters now at full blast, the Pendragon barreled forward as it charged into the fray, keeping in pace with the Deathscythe as the Pendragon swung Excalibur in wide arcing blows, looking to slice into as many Virgos as possible.

[CUE BGM: Code Geass Battle Theme]

The Druid system worked it's magic on-screen suddenly, as the incoming projectiles and their projected paths were shown. Ada had to think on her feet quickly as the three enemy Virgo IIs surrounded her in a Triangular formation and attempting to catch her but taking a cue from another fighter, Ada would most likely catch the AIs by surprise by first holding out the arms of the Gawain to then shoot the Ten Slash Harkens from the tips of the Gawains fingers at the two Virgos at her sides before turning off the Air Glide system of the Gawain as the shots were not going to get her from what was projected if she did this. A short drop in altitude happened before the Air Glide system was up again, as this happened the Gawain would begin reeling the Virgos for their upper bodies at least to be in the sights of the Gawain's Hadron Cannons with the body pointing at the final Virgo. Firing the destructive Hadron Cannons holding the best chance at destroying the three completely all at once and she would maintain the Hadron Cannons to blast the enemy Mobile Suits from far away, destroying whoever were still arriving to them in formation.

The pressure was attempting to overwhelm her, but she would perfect her piloting to overcome it. That was simply her nature.

"Activating Blaze Luminous Shields! Locking onto Virgo's and suggesting paths!" Harpuia yelled as the two Blaze Luminous flared up defending the Lancelot Club from incoming projectiles as Leon and the Club locked onto the targets on screen. "FIRE!" Leon yelled as his Assault Rifle shot out with a blast from it's Gernade Launcher, before quickly turning and shooting at the next one as well, before firing at the final one before turning off the Air Glide System temporarily, the Lancelot Club would begin to fall rapidly towards the ground thanks to the beauty that was gravity. "Returning power to Air Glide system, turning off Blaze Luminous Shields, taking out Maser Vibration Swords from holsters, opening Rifle holster." Harpuia stated to his Net Operator as the Club began floating once more although lower in altitude.

Quickly Leon had the Lancelot begin putting away the Rifle and taking hold of the Maser Vibration Swords before flying towards the Gawain, "Providing cover Gawain, over." Leon said through the Communications link, the Lancelot Club would provide a good close combat defense for the more long range and towering Gawain. Leon felt the pressure of it all, but tried not to get into it much. Really Harpuia did not feel it too much but noticed Leon was acting a little slow, really he needed Full-Synchronization with Leon and he hoped Leon would get in the game now.

Otoha merely grinned as the three Virgos surrounded her and opened fire. "Hehehe. You have no idea what my mecha and I can do, do you?"
The Super Robot merely raised its two palms out towards two of the beams, taking one of them straight in the chest but not flinching from the blow. Super Robots were made of tougher stuff than that to be easily taken down by a beam attack!

"Well then, let me show you then! Wanna know what happens when a beam attack is deflected by my barrier?"
Sure enough, the two other beams were stopped by some kind of invisible barrier that stood in front of the giant robot's hands! But it didn't stop there - the energy was being gathered up into a ball before forming some kind of eight note shape!
"PROTECT SHADE!"
With that, the beam energies were shot back at the Virgo II's on her sides! As to the one in front of her...
"Hey! I ain't done yet! KURAE! SPIRIT BEAM!""

Suddenly, a pink beam of energy collected itself on the mouth of its chest before shooting itself at the Virgo II in front!

"... Oi. Do you EVER do anything in moderation?" Aisia groaned as she too defended herself from the incoming trishot fire from the Virgos, albeit much less flamboyantly as her Super Robot partner. She just flew up and away from the center of the crossfire.
"Tch... Virgo IIs," Aisia murmured to herself. "At least they're AI controlled and dumb enough to just fire whatever and however they like..."
Her Aile form isn't going to cut it against any of these things, especially with just her beam rifle. She was going to need something more... close up.
"IKE! SWORD STRIKE!" Aisia yelled as she pulled a lever on her control panel to change Striker Packs!
[CAST OFF|CAST ON|CHANGE SWORD FORM]
With that, Aisia propped her Schwert Gewehr sword in front and rushed the first Virgo II in front of her, slashing down onto its shoulder!

All the while the two pilots (Otoha in particular, since she's... kind of like a fourth-wall-breaking-Newtype herself? Who knows) felt something heavy in the air, like some kind of pressure was forming. Indeed, it did give the impression that these Virgos were just the start...

“Looks like it started. Go on now, spread its wings and let Mazinger Z soar! We can take them all head on!” Grandpa shouted cockily, to which Hajime only responded with a nod in agreement and sent Mazinger Z back into the skies.

“What weapons does Mazinger have anyway?” Hajime then asks the holographic Grandpa.

“Hah! You only need its fists to beat pretty much anything you want!” Grandpa gloated. “But if you must know, one of them is right over there.” He said, pointing to a lighted up trigger on the control stick. "Use the helmet’s targeting system and take aim, and once you got a lock, pull it, and shout ‘Rocket Punch’! Do it, do it now!”

“Alright!” Hajime replied enthusiastically, painting a target on the nearest Virgo II which the on board computer then confirms as locked on. At the same time, Mazinger Z shifted its form and righted itself, while holding out its right arm braced by its left hand.

“Take this! ROCKET PUNCH!!”

And with an almighty explosion, the entire freaking right forearm up to the elbow launches forward, flying straight towards the Virgo II!

Posted Image

At the same time, Hajime took aim and launches another Rocket Punch at a second unsuspecting Virgo II.
