Aisia gasped as Gwang suddenly released some kind of gas. Whatever it was, she didn't want to get caught in its grip, so she flew once more into the air, sparing her from the spikes that went to impale her. She was about to call out again to Ayane when she realized that... the spikes, nor the gas, were harming either of them.

"He's... protecting them!?"

BONK.

Aisia's head rattled against something invisible, but solid.
Barrier!? He's keeping the gas in!
Thankfully, Aisia's rider form did have a mask that more or less acted as a biohazard suit as well, protecting her from even magically charged bioweapons like these... but she wasn't sure how long it would last, if it did. The presence of the Darkness alone was suffocating as it was.

It was at that point that she saw Kazuna assisting Gwang as well and using her Thunder to charge the spikes with electricity!
"Well... looks like Kazuna-chan's made her decision. How about you, Aisia? Will you save Hyakuji... or this pitiful excuse for a world?" Faiz yelled as she leapt into the air with her Faiz Edge on hand, sending it crashing down on Aisia even as she hovered in the air!

CLANG.

The Faiz Edge would find itself parried by a keyblade!
"BOTH! No world is worth sacrificing one for the other!!! There has to be another way, that way everyone-"
... can be happy.
She stopped herself from saying those words. Somehow, being in front of Ayane like ths and facing the total destruction of one world to replace another, it didn't seem right...

"IDIOT!"
Den-O slashed away at the Heartless who hit Agito with both her Dengasher and her Keyblade.
"Pay attention, dammit! They're not the only Heartless running around!" she angrily yelled at Agito. "Do you want to get yourself ki-did you just call me Otoha?"

That stopped her for a moment. She had only met this rider once or twice, and she hadn't really paid much attention to who was who in BOARD. So why did he know who she was?
... And why was his voice so familiar?
It was nagging away at her and irritating her to the point that she didn't realize that some kind of black spike was forming from the ground!

Otoha, below!
"SHIIIII-"
Almost too late, Otoha jumped back from the attack. The spike thrust up against her chest armor and caused sparks to fly, as well knocking her back further and sending her tumbling on the ground.

Oi! Otoha, pay attention!
Shut up! I am!
No you're not! He's distracting you! Not to mention that this gas, whatever it is... I think it's starting to get to us a little!
Well damn, let me switch with her then! I'm bored and I wanna fight too!
...

Despite how much Otoha hated to admit it, Eve was right. Not to mention that she couldn't fight them as she was at the moment, and there were quite a bit of targets to deal with.
"Fine, asshole! Just make sure not to get us killed!"

[GUN FORM]

Den-O started to spin in place, almost as if in an effort to blow the miasma away from her for a brief second. But that wasn't all! As she spun, she also unleashed a few light-infused shots from her Dengasher, aimed at the spellcasters above as well as the Soldiers that were attacking Lavender!
"Heyyyy~ Someone get this gas away somehow, it smells pretty gross~" Eve whined as she finished spinning. It would seem that whoever wasn't badly hurt from Gwang's earlier attack would have to go after the wannabe ninja themselves for the moment.

"Oh, damn..." Lavender cursed as Gwang summoned from the darkness a massive sword. Things had taken a turn for the worse when one of the Kamen Riders - the one whom Aisia addressed as 'Ayane' actually sided with Gwang, summoning Heartless to attack all those who fought the vampire general! But that was just the tip of the "oh damn" iceberg - as Gwang next proceeded to release a cloud of foul-smelling gas, a demonic miasma; the effects were instant as Lavender could feel her energy seeping from her with every breath.

"Gods, it smells awful!" Lavender gagged at the putrid stench. The Arcadian leader would've summoned winds to keep the cloud of miasma away from her allies, but her concentration was broken as she rolled aside to narrowly avoid a spike that shot upwards from the ground, escaping impalement by a fraction of a second. A blur of movement within the noxious fog caught Lavender's attention, and as the first Solider came in with a kick to the aeromancer's midsection Lavender swiftly responded with a defensive maneuver, blocking the incoming kick with her forearm before seizing the Heartless' kicking leg and knocking it to the ground with a back leg sweep coupled at the same time with a palm thrust to its chest. Being flanked from multiple angles and weakened by the gas, Lavender took two good kicks to the head and legs, knocking the aeromancer onto her back.

Rocked by the blows she took, Lavender nonetheless retained enough clarity to roll aside to avoid any possible attempts by the Soldiers to claw out her heart, and bringing her laying prone, right next to where she dropped her submachine gun. Seizing the weapon, Lavender let out a defiant shout as she rolled onto her back and raised her MP7A1, puling back the trigger and hosing the attacking Soldiers with bullets just at the same time Den-O fired upon the Heartless that were menacing the aeromancer.

"Thanks Liz, you and your friends!" Lavender relayed her thanks over the Arcadian link. With a shout, Lavender thrust out her arms, creating a sphere of moving air around herself as the aeromancer rose into the air, the winds generated by the Arcadian leader keeping the clouds of miasma right at the very edges of Gwang's barrier. "You can all breathe easy for now - but watch my back, okay?" Lavender asked - she would keep the miasma at bay, but unfortunately it required her constant focus and pretty much makes her a sitting duck.

((OOC: New comers are welcome yes? I wonder how this'll turn out ^^))

Ryruki found himself in a strange place. He didn't remember anything about getting here. In fact, he was in Transverse Town naught but two seconds ago. He looked around and felt a little nostalgic. Where that feeling would originate from, he had no idea nor did it seem that he would ever find out. He walked around, quite perplexed. But then, he heard the sounds of conflict, and not long after that, dark beings he recognised from exploring Transverse town started going around and killing.

Ryruki growled. No such mindless soul should ever be allowed to take life from another. His right arm shifted and the blade extended before he ran towards the closest heartless he could see. He dispatched them with quick and efficient ease, they were no challenge. Though their weight of numbers could prove troublesome as Ryruki was quickly reminded. He backed up and found himself against a wall.

This somewhat helped him. No attacks to the back helped. The heartless tried but failed and as Ryruki started off again, he looked back to the wall. There was nothing there. He frowned in confusing before his breathing betrayed him and allowed a vile scent of death to enter his lungs. He coughed, quickly covering his nose with his hand. This air is tainted and although within his blood was evil, he best be careful not to breath too much in just in case.

I must find the source for such evil intent, Ryruki thought to himself as he started off in search for the ones responsible.

As Ryruki proceeded, the fog got thicker. He was getting closer, he knew it. Before he could see anyone or anything which looked as if they were the source of such foul play, the fogs were blown away by a continual gust of wind. Ryruki let down his hand and quickened his pace. The bread crumbs were removed and so, he better double his pace.

Heartless after heartless fell under his blade whilst he tried to find the battle. He was getting closer though, he knew it. He turned a corner and he saw it! 9 combatants in total? Ryruki didn't know but he had to figure out which side he was going to be on. He saw a woman floating in the air. Ryruki can only guess she was the source of the winds. If he defended her, then he could find out which ones were friendly, which ones were not. He made up his mind and ran over to the woman, doing the best he can at avoiding the combat for now.

The ribbons of light fell away just as Hajime finished slashing through them, and Star took a deep breath and fell back. She had always known that she could but this was the first time she had been forced to use the same attack twice in one day, and it was more tiring than she thought it would be. Still, Star knew her limits, and she knew that she could still fight here without pushing the envelope, as long as he didn't do something like release some sort of power-suppressing gas.

...Oh, just her stupid, rotten luck.

Star gasped and jumped back as a spike flew out of the ground below her, fast enough to avoid getting skewered, not fast enough to avoid the spike cutting into her arm on the way up and leaving a deep gash on her forearm. Star let out a small scream from the pain, then fell on her knees and coughed at the effects of the gas. The light she had summoned to her fingertips shattered and dispersed when she could no longer hold it--the sun's light didn't seem to come through the cloud and touch her.

Her hands scrabbled on the ground, she nearly gave way to panic. Nearly being the operative word. Suddenly, the gas was gone, and Star was breathing fresh air and feeling the sunlight again. She looked up at Lavender, nodding once as she pushed herself to her feet. Her hand was covered in blood from holding onto her wound, and blood was running down her arm.

She could worry about that later. "You got it, boss," she said in her typical cheerful tone as she grinned and stood behind Lavender. Light flared up around her as two circles hovered in the air around Star. She wasn't sure how much she could fight, but she knew that she would do her best to protect Lavender, because as long as Lavender held the mist back, everyone else could fight.

If Lavender was looking, she would notice Star's eyes shift from violet to gold for a second, and then back.

Whatever had happened that caused him and Den-O to pause for a while in the midst of danger, it would have to wait as there were other pressing matters to attend to at the moment, such as staying alive: spikes shot up immediately from the ground and too late to do anything, Hajime was struck in the chest, causing a loud exploding sound from the impact and electrical sparks to fly from Kazuna charging said spikes with electricity, all eliciting a pained and shocked scream from Hajime.

He was still not down however despite the combination attack, but he was kneeling down on the ground, using his Flame Sword as support again. This was getting a bit too much even for him, and despair threatens to ground him to the ground if not the throbbing headache.

It was at this moment that the three Soldiers he had completely forgotten about made their move, the first one spin kicks his back, sending him sprawling forward before lethargically turning to raise his sword to slash at the offending Soldier, after which he was kicked by the remaining two Soldiers which now sends him flying back onto the ground and kicking up dirt. When he finally stopped, the blue parts on his armor vanishes, and he reverted back into the black and gold ground form.

For the moment, he was content to just lie there unmoving, wondering whether it will all end if he just let it be. But the noise of the battle around him wouldn’t go away, and the sight of Kazuna turning on them with her back to one person she cared about more burned in his eyes.

“No.” He was losing someone he cared about again, that much he can understand.

Not again. Not again. Not again. Not again. Not again. Not again. Not again.

Why not again?

Clenching his fist, Hajime suddenly screamed, probably in frustration at the situation, and suddenly, new images flooded his mind in a flash…

Flashback

"... Drill-senpai," Otoha said flatly.

"Allright, Drill-senpai, GET!"

"Stop hurting him! He still has as responsibility to Hinata-chan's dignity and heart, so until then, I won't have you killing him like this!"

"Feeling better now, I hope? My name is Otoha, by the way. You'll... probably see me later during tonight's mission, and it would be rude if we weren't introduced properly before then."

“I remember. Otoha, huh? That was a nice name.” Hajime muttered softly at first, probably not audible enough for everyone, while with some almighty effort and strain, he pushes himself off the ground to stand back up again, and staggered where he stood.

“I remember, Hyakuji.” Hajime said again, this time a bit louder. “I remember the city I was born in, the school I go to, the people I love, the people I lost.”

He then looks up, and though his face was masked, there was a fresh wave of new found determination in that simple movement. “I remember now, the city I swore to protect back then no matter the cost.” He paused, trying to form more words to say what he was thinking which was hard, since he’s not that of a talkative person nor good with words to begin with. “But that city won’t be the same city if it’s built on the corpse of another. I won’t live, to know that the city I have grown to love is built by sacrificing something that doesn’t deserve to.”

Another pause, this time collecting his breath, and with both of his hands, he pressed the two buttons on either side of his belt, elicited a more louder whining sound than usual at this new combination. His belt began to glow and brighter by the second.

“Because as long as we are around, no world is going to be lost like Hyakuji. We will not have it. On the memory of the loved ones we lost who live on still in our heart, I will not let you, or any so called God taint that memory like this. I swear by it, or my name is not Hajime Go of Hyakuji!”

The light and whining sound finally reaches the climax, and in an instant, Hajime’s arms began to change color again to take on another form. But instead of just one, this time, both his arms changed colors. The right arm covered in the red armor of the Flame Form and the left in the blue armor of the Storm Form: this, is the Trinity Form!

New Form Unlocked~!

There were still some unfinished business, and Hajime at the moment, isn’t about to forget what transpired just moments ago. The familiar blue shaft of the Storm Halberd emerged from a ring of light around his belt buckle, and Hajime pulled it out and quickly expanded it to its full length, and spins and slashes at the two remaining Soldiers that had kicked him earlier that led to this point.

“Kazuna!” Hajime called out, using his free, right hand and points his index finger at the young girl. “Don’t be fooled, I know you can hear me! Believe in me, who believe in you, to make the right choice, please! If you don’t, then I’m going to have to beat some sense into you, once we deal with him.” He finished, using the Storm Halber to point at Gwang, who stood behind the two Riders.

"Hmph.." Gwang's eyes rolled slowly from the chaos to focus on the aeromancer gathering the poison above her head. Well, that was fine with him. It made her immobile and his strongest attack was really suited for just such a foe. It'd either hit her or someone who moved to protect her. Either way he won. Unless she released the gas, poisoning everyone. So yeah, win again.

He just needed to get rid of a pest first. He slashed forward with his right arm. The weight of the massive Dark Bishamon rushed forward as if it were light as air. It's razor sharp edge cut the very wind itself, and the air around it crackled with life. The winds, now honed into a blade by the cutting force, and vampiric energies rushed at trinity form Agito in the form of a tight ball of cutting power that would consume the targets energy if it touched flesh.

But that was a distraction for the main event. Spreading his wings wide he gathered raw power into his right arm. It was time for something special. The target... Was Lavender!

He held a hand out in front of him. From the hand a massive beam, three times the size of the large winged creature exploded out enveloping everything in it's path. Draining their life force and adding it to his own. This was one of his most devastating vampiric abilities.

"In this world we must compromise to attain happiness." Gwang said forcefully. "Those who, when confronted with the winds of change, do not bend will surely break." He said mournfully. "Take it from a man who learned about mortality the hard way.."

For the moment, Hajime's attempts at convincing Kazuna fell upon deaf ears. Her expression didn't change in the least but...a slight pause was noted before she sprung into action once more. Part of the real her was indeed still in there, but it'd take a little more than words to bring that out. Regardless, the small Rider's targets were set on the newly appeared Den-O Gun Form, one of the other Riders not occupied yet.

[TACKLE]

[AP: 2600]

Another card drawn and rouzed, this time the image of the Tackle Boar card imbuing it's power on the small girl as she picked up into a sprint in an attempt to tackle Den-O hard, of course given her record with the card the chances of this actually succeeding...

Ayane frowned behind her mask as her Heartless attack squad was finally wiped out, her Faiz Edge also parried by Aisia's Keyblade. That blasted weapon!

"BOTH!" Aisia cried out from behind the Strike mask in reply. "No world is worth sacrificing one for the other!!! There has to be another way, that way everyone--"

Then, she stopped. Which was quite well, considering that her words were sickening Ayane's stomach once more. "You fool. You still think there's a way to make everyone happy, don't you? A way to save Hyakuji without sacrificing anything? I had higher hopes for you." Pushing away from her, Faiz landed firmly on land and watched as Kazuna ran to attack Den-O. It was time to send some help once more.

"Aisia... you of all people should know there's no way for perfection to exist. These worlds... they were never meant to exist! They replaced Hyakuji! If you want our world back... then they need to be destroyed. If you aren't willing to make that sacrifice... then I will." Another snap of her fingers, and this time a much larger pool of shadow appeared beneath her, oozing out Shadow upon Shadow. No need to spawn the magic-users or soldiers. Shadows were simple creatures, able to be brought forth quickly, replaced as quickly as they were destroyed.

For Lavender, Star, Ryruki and Hajime, five Shadows per person would zig-zag their way over and try to latch on! They'd jump from different heights, each trying to subdue their target and tear their way into that person's Heart!

For Den-O, though, something quite different happened. Ayane had instructed the Shadows going after that Riders not to consume her, but instead to just hold her at bay. Keep her steady. Hold her down, pin her feet, bite her ankles... Whatever it took to make sure that her Kazuna-chan's attack succeeded. Strike, though, was out of range for now... so while Ayane wanted to use a similar tactic, it would have to wait for a better opportunity.

"If this is what it takes to make you see the truth, Aisia... then so be it!"

[EXCEED CHARGE]

The Faiz Edge surging with crackling crimson energy and imbued with Dark power, Ayane made a running jump towards Strike, intending to slice her Rider System apart with a Crimson Slash...!

DANGER! That was what Lavender felt as the Mentor's Stone began to vibrate on its own accord, the stone giving off a brilliant white glow that shone through the fabric of her Arcadian uniform as Gwang pointed his right arm at the aeromancer, gathering energy before firing a massive beam, even bigger than himself right at Lavender. "Shit..." Lavender thought; there was no way she could take a direct hit from an attack of this magnitude - and to attempt to evade would mean allowing those demonic vapors to flood back to the ground and weaken everyone on the scene.

With an audible whooshing noise, Lavender redirected the winds that had previous been keeping Gwang's miasma at bay to propel herself out of the way of the beam, taking a graze from Gwang's beam for the trouble - instead of a searing heat as the aeromancer was originally anticipating, she instead felt an intense chill as the beam nicked her shoulder, her strength fleeing her body as Lavender dropped limply to the ground, landing with a dull thud.

Still feeling woozy from having her energy drained, Lavender rose shakily to her feet, taking a few wobbly steps forward; looking up only to find five Shadows leaping towards her, claws outstretched and ready to attack. Grunting, Lavender seized the nearest Shadow by the arm and shoulder, using the Heartless' momentum against itself to throw the attacking Shadow into one of its comrades.

"Get off me!" Lavender growled as three of the Shadows seized her, ripping and clawing. Snapping her head backwards, Lavender delivered a headbutt to one of the Shadows which had its arms wrapped around her neck from behind in a choke. With the Shadows still grabbing onto her, Lavender began to spin around in circles, transforming into a human cyclone as the winds swirled around her, growing more and more intense until the aeromancer was effectively surrounding by a storm of wind blade, shredding the Shadows attacking her.

Groaning, Lavender dropped to a knee, drained, battered and bloodied, panting heavily from the exertion - she barely had time to recover from Gwang's draining attack, and now using such an exhausting maneuver had clearly taken its toll on the aeromancer. "I don't know how much longer I can keep at this..." Lavender thought as she tightened her grip on her MP7A1, raising the submachine gun to fire a short burst at the Shadows headed for Star in an attempt to keep the Heartless away from the photomancer.

"You fool. You still think there's a way to make everyone happy, don't you? A way to save Hyakuji without sacrificing anything? I had higher hopes for you," Ayane grunted.
Aisia stared at Ayane from behind her mask in shock as she landed once more to the ground. Was she right?...

"Aisia... you of all people should know there's no way for perfection to exist. These worlds... they were never meant to exist! They replaced Hyakuji! If you want our world back... then they need to be destroyed. If you aren't willing to make that sacrifice... then I will."
"In this world we must compromise to attain happiness. Those who, when confronted with the winds of change, do not bend will surely break. Take it from a man who learned about mortality the hard way..." Gwang spoke in the background as Ayane rushed her with the Crimson Slash. Those very words struck a chord in her... but probably not the way the dark lord had intended.

"... Wrong."
The flash of the Faiz Edge on Ayane's hand ran towards her and threatened to destroy her if she didn't move or damage her heavily if she decided to just block it with her shield, but she was still thinking on what he just said just now.
And it made her very, very angry.
"YOU'RE WRONG!"
[CAST OFF | CAST ON | CHANGE SWORD]

She didn't ignite the beam on the sword, and instead threw her Keyblade at Gwang like a boomerang and held her Schwert Gewher with both hands like a baseball bat!
"It's true that we have to find our own happiness... and maybe we do need to change. But if that happiness comes at the expense of others, then that isn't true happiness at all! There IS a way to save all the worlds..."
With that, she side-stepped to the left to dodge the landing slash... and swung at Ayane's abdomen with her sword like she were trying to strike a baseball!
"AND I WILL FIND IT!"

Meanwhile, Den-O struggled with the Shadows who came to pounce on her , shooting them off of her legs as she did to free her from Kazuna's incoming attack!
... That voice...
Eh?
Switch with me!
Ehhhh!? But I just got-
SWITCH. WITH. ME!

[SWORD FORM]

Den-O resumed Sword form and this time, with both Keyblade and Sword Dengasher in hand, spun to slash at the shadows and free herself! But she had one other thing to do...
"Sorry, idiot, but I'm going to..."
She spun in place, barely dodging Kazuna's Tackle. But she wasn't done.

With a gentle nudge, she kicked Kazuna's little derrière and nudged her to go after... GWANG!
"... Point you in the right direction!"
With that, she rushed at the other shadows that were attacking Hajime in order to keep them from landing their attacks on him!
"Hey... What the HELL did you just call yourself!?" OtoLiz yelled behind the mask as she slashed like a whirling dervish, cutting down any Heartless in her path. "Did you just call yourself Hajime Go!?"

Ryruki watched with bug eyed surprise as he bore witness to the gargantuan blast of unholy power extended from the winged one's arm, almost consuming the aeromancer. He didn't even know such power was possible. Unfortunately, from this display, it seemed that the winged one was an evil being, possibly the cause of the poison fog. Never the less, Ryruki rushed over to the kneeling aeromancer, defiantly shooting at the heartless threatening her ally.

"Are you alright?" he asked as he reached her, keeping his sword arm ready at his side, "What exactly is happening here? The brief version will do."

He tried to deduce which combatant was on which side but it was very difficult. It didn't help that a couple of them wore armour, two of them already showing the capability of armour change during battle. He was no use to anyone attacking any he saw and so he hoped that this one could shed some light on which are friends and which are foe.

Star's eyes widened as Lavender moved away. Realizing that if Lavender did, she might want to as well, she immediately threw herself towards the left. She landed on the ground as the beam erupted. She could feel its heat sear her leg, even if it wasn't a direct hit, but she didn't have time to look around and care about that right now. The cloud fell around them again. Star covered her nose with her arm and coughed as the foul smell entered her nose and burned its way down her throat. She looked up to see five Shadows heading through the fog towards her. Star's eyes narrowed and she reached for the light. The light in the fog was fragmented, not as clear as direct sunlight had been, and she couldn't seem to control it all that well, but she could control it somewhat, at least.

Which was good, given how she knew her light affected Shadows, a little bit of control was all she needed. As the Shadows neared, Star's entire body began to glow, the glow radiating outwards suddenly before retracting back inwards towards her. The light would hurt Shadows, but no one else, another thing Star liked about being a photomancer. She coughed again and turned towards Ryruki, pulling herself to her feet.

"Long story short. Us versus him--," she pointed at Gwang, "--and them" she pointed at Kazuna and Ayame. "But mostly him. Us, saving the world. Them, destroying it. Take your pick." Out of character for her to say so little, but she didn't really have time to say more than that. She raised her hand and the orbs of light that had surrounded her earlier flew towards Gwang. There were around six of them, which hopefully would cause some damage...except Star felt as if she was hitting a rock with a toothpick at this point.

Come on... she thought, I need more power than this...

Gwang's wing moved in front of him, the spheres ripped into the wings but he didn't care. He was close to winning this. He took the sword in one hand. The blood spilled on the battlefield flowed into the blade. It's hunger wasn't abated though. It grew slightly larger. Gwang spread his wings, his eyes fixed on the combatants. It's time for all this to end.." He muttered moving towards Lavender.

"Boy.." He said to the new arrival of Ryruki. "This fight is lost. If I were you I'd run." He raised the sword before bringing it down on the concrete. The ground exploded in a path out from the blade towards Lavender and the new boy who was with her. If he was wise he'd abandon the girl and run. If he was foolish he'd stay and be crushed with the force. Either way Gwang didn't care. He raised the sword again and swung it towards Star, sending a second shockwave towards the girl.

"I don't have time for drama, Ayane. Do you need my aid to finish her? I don't want to loose my supporter..." He said blocking the incoming blade with his own sword. It's light power carved into the sword blade carving a chunk out of it with it's light power. His tattered and bloody wings spread out behind him. He would have simply done so but there were times in battle where outside meddling was more harm than help.

Only instead of heading towards Gwang as Den-Otoha had intended, Kazuna just seemed to...fall flat on her face. Even when under the influence of a higher power, there were some things about Kazuna that would never change, even in life or death situations it seemed.

Because when she got up the blank look in her eyes was back to being the normal expression, albeit dirty thanks to the faceplant. "M-meanie..." she said simply enough rubbing her behind while she got back up. The Blade hat's expression had also changed with Kazuna's though it appeared to be crying rather then the anger(?) Kazuna had right now.

...Still it seemed that she was just caught in the middle of what side she really was on, part of her was there, part of her wasn't...but for now it seemed a bit more of a push in the right direction was needed. She brandished her blade once more and headed for Den-O, ready to slash her from behind since her attention was elsewhere!

Ryruki nodded to the girl who answered his question and looked over to the man he was to fight. He was confident in his victory, very confident. The sword went up, Ryruki's blade retracted and the force was released. Ryruki only just managed to reach out and try to push the wounded girl out of the way before he got hit by the attack.

He did his best to roll with the shock, ending up quite a distance away and struggling to get up. His mind was spinning, body was aching, a single attack took a lot out of him. He tried to pick himself up before collapsing again as he felt the searing pain of broken ribs shoot up from his lower chest.

Damnit! Ryruki could only think as he tried again, succeeding this time, Never did fight such a powerful foe

The blade extended again as he wondered how he would bring down such a man. The fog had rolled back in again which didn't help at all, left hand going up to mask his mouth and nose. Ryruki stepped to the left and kept strafing with his eyes on the adversary. He'll wait for an opening, but he'll keep in motion.
