Kouta jumped up and over the incoming tail swipe, but did not use the full extent of Dragon Form's ability to jump, and instead limited himself so he could grab onto it, and once again Kouta would opt to change forms once more as he yelled out "CHOU HENSHIN!", dispelling his Keyblade, which had reverted to normal after exiting Dragon Form. Once more, Kouta was back in the red Mighty form, fist powered up with light and the energy from the Arcle... "MIGHTY PUNCH!" a powerful right punch into one of the centipede's many sections...! |

A roar of anger drew Lavender's attention to the gigantic Pot Centipede that Nine was fighting, diving to the ground to avoid a tail sweep from the Heartless, almost too late in fact, the aeromancer hurriedly putting up her telekinetic shield to stop the attack - so great was the force put into its tail sweep, even with her protective barrier Lavender was sent flying backwards and slamming into a nearby wall, leaving behind a decent-sized impact crater. "Yep, almost felt that one," the amethyst-haired aeromancer commented as her shield dissipated, wobbling about on her feet from the aftershocks before standing back upright. “Need some help over here.” Nine spoke over the din of the battle, his voice surprisingly calm and composed - being a Nobody without the ability to feel emotions helps. "I can't take on it alone." "Keep the smaller ones off our backs," Lavender addressed Star and Meglumar. "I'm going for the big one!" As Kouta went in for a punch to one of the Pot Centipede's sections, Lavender raised a hand and released a horizontal light-infused Saber Gust at the Pot Centipede's head, the aeromancer joining in Nine and Kouta's combined assault on this elite Heartless! |

"Ma'am, yes, ma'am!" said Star, straightening up as Lavender asked them to keep the smaller ones off their backs. She reached out mentally, trying to see if she could find the light in the surrounding area. J had been trying to teach her to make use of other light sources before she left. This much, at least, she thought she could do. She thought she could feel the light, but it was a subtle feeling in the background. Nothing at all like the overwhelming power of the sun. But all light was derived from sunlight...starlight, technically, in the end. In a pinch, it might do. "Well, Meglumar, you heard her," said Star, glancing around at the Pot Spiders as she stepped just a little bit closer to Meglumar. Star began to glow, the light pulsing outwards from her for one instant. It covered a large area, with the effect being greater the closer it was to her. After that instant, the light faded away, leaving Star standing there. Hopefully that would thin the numbers enough. |

"Understood, Ma'am." Meglumar responded as Lavender issued her orders. He kept his sword close, and began to glance about. There were a lot of these spiders. It would be unwise to just strike them down one at a time. He'd need to use broad slashes, take down as many as he could with each swipe. "Well, Meglumar, you heard her." Star said to him as he too stepped closer to her. "Indeed. Let's make this quick, partner." He said, as Star unleashed an area effecting light attack. A good thing they had a photomancer on their side. Meglumar raised his blade, the light from his heart powering it as he made several quick, broad slashes at the remaining heartless. This was hopefully just going to be clean up. |

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
|
"Meeeeeooooow!" (GAAAAAAH!) Tango fell backwards, rolling a bit on his side (and accidently squashing a few Pot Spiders that got in the way), the collision with the tail actually managed to deal some damage. Not enough to kill, but he now sported a rather odd red bump on his forehead. One that was swelling red with intense fury. "Meow." (B-bastard! You ruined my beautiful fur with that Tail Swipe! BURN!!!!!) With that he spewed forth another long-range burst of Fire Breath awhile standing on his hindlegs, this time causing the floor to become liquid magma beneath his and the Pot Scorpion, and any unfortunate Pot Spider that got too close. But he didn't mind the small damage, as a red buster formed around his right arm which he positioned to aim closely with his left paw.
"Meow." (Time to murderize ya!) With that, a vast stream of boiling lava poured out to engulf the Pot Scorpion, amplified by the Lava Panels which slowly vanished one by one to fuel the geyser of death. |

The Pot Centipede would find Nine’s slashing attack a slight distraction, as it swung its head into Nine’s side and smashing him away. Nine grunted in pain and hit one of the pillars in mid air before falling down onto the floor. Nine struggled to stand back on his own to feet while cursing mildly at the Pot Centipede’s tenacity. By infusing Light into his weapons, R Spectrum would find his attacks more effective now, and his blades cut through the dark-flesh of the Pot Scoprion like hot knife through butter. It thought it could retaliate some more but the damage was done, and the Pot Scorpion vanished into thin air, leaving its pot shell broken on the ground in pieces. D Spectrum’s attempt to gain the Pot Centipede’s attention seems to have work, and while the shots seems to literally bounce off its pot armor, the centipede’s head turn to face him and started shooting lightning bolts at him. Netto would find more Pot Spiders swarming towards him, being now considered a threat more or less by them; several of them even jumps into the air to smash on top of his head! Kouta’s change into Mighty might have worked, but as soon as his punch connected and destroyed several pieces of the Pot Centipede’s Pot Spider segments, they were quickly replaced by other Pot Spiders: attacking its body might not work out on the long run when the place it literally overwhelmed with replacement parts. But Lavender’s light-infused gale attack at the Pot Centipede’s head seems to aggravate it to end, and it reeled back in pain before it reorients itself and practically lunge its entire head towards the wind user, hoping to smash her into a bloody pulp! Star’s sudden glowing worked rather effectively, and the sun light made the mass of Pot Spiders around reel away from her before disintegrating completely. When earlier there were a mass of Pot Spiders standing around her, now there was a big empty space around her instead. Any of those that managed to survived Star’s light attack would find themselves die under Meglumar’s light-infused sword strikes; this invariably keeps them away from the main group and focus on the two instead. The empty space would soon be filled with more Pot Spiders, but not as much as earlier as their numbers seems to be dwindling… Tango would find that the strange glowing rocks the whole tomb seems to be made of is unaffected by mere heat, as the fire breath attack seems to just only make the floor very hot to touch. While another Pot Scoprion dies by the intense heat of the fire breath, the Pot Centipede would only roar in pain, as it seems to be very resilient to the heat, and it responded with another tail smash directed at Tango again. --- Meanwhile, a pair of eyes watch the fight going on in the chamber with curiosity, wondering what it should do next, plotting its next best course of action...

"...heh, I figured just breaking one wouldn't do." Kouta mused, still trying to remain on top of the Pot Centipede as it moved about. It seemed he was in the clear for now so it was time to do what he did best: improvise. Summoning up his keyblade with his right hand, Kouta hurled the black Fenrir at the Centipede's head. "CHOU HENSHIN!" Kouta shifted back to Dragon Form so he could jump off the Centipede without much need of leg room, the form increased his leg strength enough for it, though obviously it wasn't as high as it could normally go. But once airborne he would immediately yell "CHOU HENSHIN!" again and shift back to Mighty! "ORYAAAAA!" Only to come down for his trademark flying sidekick, right foot ablaze with the fire of the Arcle, should the keyblade connected, Kouta would have tried to drive it further in with his kick...! |

Lavender smiled faintly as her light-infused Saber Gust connected with the Pot Centipede's head - with Star and Meglumar keeping the Pot Spiders at bay she could give the big one her undivided attention. She didn't fail to notice how upon destroying segments of its body would cause the Pot Centipede to regenerate itself, as nearby Pot Spiders moved in to replace the destroyed segments of the Pot Centipede's body. "All right monster, bring it on!" Lavender said as the Pot Centipede reared up before lunging headfirst at the aeromancer, obviously looking to smash her with a charging attack! Before Lavender could make her move however, Kouta attempted a keyblade throw followed by what appeared to be a leaping kick, the two moves almost in unison. Rolling aside, Lavender emptied the clip from her MP7A1, raking the length of the Pot Centipede's body with gunfire as she sought to destroy as many segments as possible - that should reduce the number of Pot Spiders in the chamber and ease up the pressure on her comrades. |

Well, this was going splendidly. For once Star and he were in a fight and neither one of them were being horribly maimed! This was going to have to be something to be celebrated later. He continued his assault on the pot spiders, keeping up with his heavy, wide swings as the light continued to emanate from the sword. It looked like the others were doing just as well against THEIR foes. Who knows? Maybe, just maybe they'd get out of this without any new scars. That would be a fantastic change of pace. He was getting tired of getting cuts across his chest, and having to disinfect them. |

Netto: ...well, that's that. Netto sheathes his spear and generates his Keyblade instead. Its blade was a bit short, especially compared to the spear he was just using, but its power was greater than the average Keyblade, and it was a weapon the Heartless would be vulnerable to. He's able to combine slashes from this weapon much more effectively with his GunDelSol, slashing back the Pot Spiders that try to leap on him and firing shots at those that don't. All the while, he backsteps toward the opposite pillar, trying to remain in range of the Pot Centipede and remaining Pot Scorpion for as little time as possible. D Spectrum, having grabbed the Centipede's attention, proceeds to...watch as someone ELSE damages it. With a sweatdrop, D Spectrum aims both his guns at the Centipede's face specifically and lets out a pair of shots. The lightning from the Centipede passes harmlessly through him, as he is still incorporeal (Shadow lasts a LONG time). R Spectrum, having successfully killed one Pot Scorpion, decides to try his luck at killing the other one. Infusing both AirSwords with Light once more, he dashes over to the one remaining Pot Scorpion and performs a double-slash as he slides past. If the blades themselves weren't strong enough, there was a good chance the Pot Scorpion would be air-tossed by them, making it easy to finish the job. Like with D Spectrum, R Spectrum ignores all the other attacks around him, as they cannot affect him in his current state. Netto's Custom: FULL Netto's Chips: GunDelSol1 (blue gun; CrossD. Spectrum's left hand), GunDelSol2 (red gun; Netto's left hand), GunDelSol3 (yellow gun; CrossD. Star took a step back so that her back was touching Meglumar's back, a grin on her face as she faced off the advancing Pot Spiders. The grin was mostly for show. She was starting to get a little worried, not so much about this as about what could be further up. She hoped it wasn't much worse. Star took a deep breath and let out another pulse of light. The light spread around her and outward with hopefully the same effect as the first one. Hopefully it would thin the crowd long enough for the others to finish up what they had to do. "You guys hurry up!" Star shouted back to the others. "We can't keep this up forever!" And we really don't want to have to...so move it! she added silently in her mind, sincerely hoping that that was not just the Arcadia mental link she sent her thoughts to. |

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
|
"MEOW!" (YOU FREAKING MORON!) Tango roared, quickly leaping to the right by 6 feet with the jumping grace that all cats possess, skidding 360 degrees before facing Netto with a scowl. Opening his mouth, he fired off a high voltage lightning bolt to fry the Pot Spiders getting too close between him and R Spectrum.
"Meow." (Pay attention, will you? Only use that thing on the World Heart, not the Heartless (Although you could test it on this Nobody to see what would happen). You might as well cover yourself in steaks and go into a kennel filled with rabid dogs, since that thing only marks you as a target. With Shadow active, just cut off the legs and attack the weird tattoo that it has, okay? This Heartless may have a Ninja Putty mechanism into that spot.) He growled, then began to gather hairballs into his mouth, his cheeks puffing out and expanding like balloons, now targeting the Emblem the Centipede had. Custom: 4 |

After being thrown bodily into one of the support pillars, Nine recuperated for a short while before standing back up again, and this time materializes a tuba like apparatus and places it on to his shoulder while a pipe where the mouthpiece should at the end was directed to his lips under the hood. “I hate bugs.” With that, he buzzed into the mouthpiece, and from the tube, there came an almighty sound and wind directed at pretty much everything in the chamber; even our heroes! What they would find however that save for the wind blowing in their face, it was quite harmless to them. But the same cannot be said of the Pot Spiders littered about the room as their pot shells crack and break at the noise, killing and making them vanish once their shells were breached and leaving only broken pottery. Despite the sudden appearance of the big brass instrument, the Pot Centipede was still okay; what dark powers it hold manage to keep its form stable and safe from the noise but one thing for sure is, it won’t be regenerating its ‘body’ parts anymore. “Now! Hit it hard and hit it fast!” Lavender’s peppering the Centipede with gun fire distracted the insectoid Heartless to a degree that it noticed too late the trio of Kouta, Netto and Tango attacking its head, to which it then summarily explodes. With its head gone, the rest of its ‘body’ died, and all the pots fell with a resounding crash and kicking up a lot of dust. Once it was cleared, there were only broken pieces of pottery littered all over the place, and a large glowing floated upwards from the remains before it vanishes completely before anyone could comment on the strange sight. “Very good,” Nine said calmly, surveying the area to make sure nothing was up and moving about again other than themselves. “Now that that’s taken care of, we better move on. The report says we should be almost there.” Nine then said, walking over the alcove at the far northern end of the chamber where there was a passageway leading downwards and looked into it. There, there were a flight of stairs that leads down into a dark passage that was filled with water. Stepping down as close as he can to the waterline, he noted that they now have a new obstacle which was in the report he got. “The water is almost up to the ceiling with room to spare.” Nine commented with a hint of annoyance in his voice. “We’ll have to swim to get to the end.” He then turned to the others and asks, “Who here doesn’t know how to?” |

Lavender heard a low bass sound and a powerful gale blowing as Nine summoned what resembled a tuba and began playing the instrument. While it seemed harmless enough to herself and her allies, the effect on the Pot Spiders was immediate and devastating. The pots that made up their shells cracked, and once they broke the Pot Spiders died, their bodies vanishing and leaving only broken pottery behind. Although the Pot Centipede managed to withstand Nine's weapon, the death of the Pot Spiders meant it wouldn't be able to regenerate its body parts once it got damaged. Distracted by Lavender's fire, it fell quickly to a combined assault from Kouta, Netto and Tango. “Very good,” Nine said as he surveyed the area to make sure there weren't anymore nasty surprises. “Now that that’s taken care of, we better move on. The report says we should be almost there.” Lavender nodded as she removed the now empty clip from her MP7A1, taking out a fresh magazine to reload. It was good to hear that they were approaching their quarry. The aeromancer followed Nine to the north of the chamber, stopping at an alcove with a passageway leading downwards. There was a flight of steps leading down, but the chamber below was filled with water. “The water is almost up to the ceiling with room to spare. We’ll have to swim to get to the end." Nine reported. Lavender frowned slightly as she looked down, confirming what Nine just said. Now that was more than a little troublesome for the aeromancer - her firearms don't work while underwater, and on top of that the potency of her aeromancy is also significantly reduced while underwater. “Who here doesn’t know how to?” Nine asked. "I have no problems swimming, but I don't like the looks of this," Lavender muttered as she tried to shine a light from her submachine gun's illuminator into the water. "Who knows what surprises these waters have in store for us? But, it doesn't look like we have a choice. I'm going in first." With a thought, Lavender made a subtle alteration to her Arcadia field uniform - the overcoat vanished, leaving behind the boots, trousers and sleeveless shirt underneath. Lavender waded up to her waist into the water, sweeping the surface of the water with her gun sights to keep a lookout for enemies. The aeromancer was thankful that her Arcadian outfit - based on her GLADIUS field uniform - was made of a weather-resistant fabric that allowed her to stay relatively comfortable. "Looks like the coast is clear," Lavender announced. |

"...Chou Henshin." Kouta stated calmly, shifting from the Red Mighty form to the Blue Dragon form. What better state to assume than that of the spirit of water? Regardless it was time to take a dip and as such Kouta entered the water without much hesitation. He...wasn't actually sure how well he'd fair if they were to fight in water but hey...there was a first time for everything. |
