It all started with a dream within a dream, Rozanny and Kinclex shared happy moments together, she was in a place where they were raising their daughter together... Everything was so happy, Hiro, the lovable Hiro, her master and teacher, her child's one and only god father.. everything was swell.. till the Heartless arrived..

Jerking awake.. Roz woke up laying facedown in sand..

------------------ 3 hours earlier ------------------------------

Roz and Alexia had fled the Fairy tail Guild hall in the middle of the night, everything was going fine till Roz had to stop when a freak wind sent her crashing into the side of a building.

Alexia who was fast asleep was oblivious to what was going on.,, slightly stunned and whatnot... Roz slid down the wall and using her wings lessen the fall, she landed on the roof of a nearby building to catch her breath.

Exhaustion slowly ebbed into her vision... as tears of frustration clouded her vision..

Pain erupted from her wings.. shuddering Roz took a deep breath and winced as she willed the pain away..

If only I can make it out of this horrible city... she thought noting how her wings protested when she flapped them. If... only things were different....

Whimpering softly her grip on Alexia tightened, walking to the edge of the roof top Roz looked for the closest Portal..

jumping off the rooftop, Roz spread her wings and flapped gasping painfully as she felt something rip, stubbornly ignoring it.. ROz headed for the closest portal

A blinding flash of light filled her vision... then darkness

----------------------- present time ------------------------------------ Alexia's POV

Small blue eyes looked worriedly at Roz's body.. everything seemed torn and stiff.. Alexia had woken in the burning hot sun a few feet from her Mother's body, remembering the night before... her eyes widened.. what had happened after they left the Fairy Tail Guild hall? What happened to her Mother... that resulted in her body being so torn up...?

She had tried to wake her mother.. with no response so.. here she sat occasionally prodding her mother.. to see if she could rouse her..

"Mama... Mama come back to me..." Alexia had managed to turn her mother onto her side.. wincing when she noticed fresh blood pour down the thin bones along her mother's wings...

"Mama... please" her whisper was soft and thick with unshed tears

----------------- Normal POV ----------------------

Wind breezed over them.. Roz was still out cold.... and Alexia was failing to hold in the tears..

Who would save them?.. Something like this always happened... when they went to a city and her mother was always the one to end up hurt and unconscious...

It was hot; too hot.

Hiro Tsukasa let out an exhasperated sigh as he collapsed onto the side of the current dune he'd been scaling. The rise and fall of the sand dunes in this particular area of the desert seemed to flow up and down almost like it was a series of ocean waves frozen in space.

Letting out another sigh Hiro took a deep breath and grabbed the bundle of clothes at his side grasping the balled mass with his left hand and rose again marching onwards.

Posted Image

It was just too hot. This was what Hiro had concluded after a random gate ended up dropping him out in the middle of the desert. He'd gone for a good while but eventually the heat was starting to become a hindrance and this led Hiro to his current state stripped down for the sake of keeping as cool as feasably possible. He wasn't entirely sure of his direction but his instincts seemed to feel he was at least headed in the right direction.

Rounding the top of the dune he let out a soft sigh unhappy to find that he could merely see more desert. However, his eyes widened in surprise as he glanced down to the bottom of the other side to the current dune he stood atop. Rozanny and Alexia, here? Hiro thought to himself in surprise as he began to run vaulting down the side of the large dune and towards them. Rozanny seemed injured, like usual, and that meant they were both left very vulnerable to who knows what lurks in such a desert.

"Alexia! Rozanny! What happened?" Hiro called out as he got closer.

A large circle of fire sprung up encircling them slowly, Alexia's eyes widened as she watched her mother seem to revive slightly, her breath came in shallow pants and Roz seemed to be in some sort of pain.

Wind picked up around them forming a small wind tunnel, the momentum of the fire died down when Hiro called out to them..

Alexia got up and ran to Hiro, latching onto one of his legs.. "Hwiro! Mama's... something's wrong with Mama...she wont wake up!"

Roz's control on her demon kitten form seemed to be slipping as her wings twitched then began to shudder violently..

Alexia started to freak out.. this had never happened before.. she had never seen this sort of strange reaction just only located with her Mother's wings.. something... something must have happened after they left Fairy Tail Guild Hall.. but Alexia didn't know.. she had been asleep.

Unlatching herself from Hiro, Alexia ran back to her mother's side.. and placed a hand on her mother's head.. but retracted her hand as if it burnt her.. which it did. Staring at the now small blisters appearing on her hands then back at Roz.. then back at her hands.. she whimpered.. "Mama...Mama... you got to wake.."

Roz still being dead to the world or looked like she was, sucked in a breath and her whole body started to convulse... the fire circle that had appeared moments ago sprung back to life and its momentum increased

Alexia took this moment to flee heading back towards Hiro and attempting grabbing his arm or the closest thing possible to pull him away.. she saw the signs, the signs that her mother was struggling against her demon kitten form... whilst unconscious..

Roz's body started to glow.. as the fire around her sprang up like a pillar engulfing her in flames and sand.......

Sighing softly Hiro gave Alexia a comforting pat on the head as he pushed past her and strolled closer to Rozanny and called back to her daughter, "Your Mother has a knack for getting into trouble, she should be more careful with you around..."

Closing his eyes for a moment Hiro darted them open as his Persona Simon was called forth and hovered above him keeping pace with his own movements. As he got closer to Rozanny he did his best to keep his ground despite all the insanity going on. Simon pulled forth and held a hand over Rozanny's body as both spoke in unison, "DIARAMA!"

A pale green light of magical energies began to flow from Simon's hand and envelop all of Rozanny's body healing her slowly. Hiro wasn't quite sure how a healing effect would work since he wasn't sure exactly what was going on but it was best to start ruling out what he could before things got more dangerous.

"that she does... but thats Mama.. for you"

Rozanny growled in anger as her eyes spied a male.. she was so fed up right now about it.. everything had to revolve around a male.. everything..

"DIARAMA"

the shout was heard by a partially changed kitten Roz roared out in fury as she felt the healing powers try to calm her... from the fire pillar holes began appearing on the side of the column closest to where Simon was..

Alexia stood back.. way......... back from what she could see as an explosion waiting to happen... She didn't like the looks of the holes appearing in the fire column... it was like something was coming out..

the moment the holes in the fire stopped spreading fireballs shot out towards Simon, as some impacted the sand, Alexia sat on the hill chomping away at some nut bars watching the fireworks..

Its best I leave them to fight it out.. Mama's been wanting to let loose for a while now.. Sighing, Alexia covered herself as some sand rained down upon her from the force of Roz's attack...

Hackles rising, a long hiss was issued as Roz charged at Simon

Sand… -- Insert Adolf
Current Setting: Umbrella factory, Outside Münich
******

It was a cold night made worse by the fact that it was raining sheets of rain and sleet. Adolf remained was outside under an awning outside the Motor Pool building instructing subordinates regarding a transfer of equipment. There had been an accident at a facility a few kilometers away at a neighboring compound and his squad was being ordered to check it out.

”Come on troops. Hurry it up, get the lead out!”

Men were scrambling to load up vehicles with firearms, ammunition, computers and other essential supplies. The weather, meanwhile, continued to worsen. Adolf took this as a bad sign as he closed the passenger-side door to his jeep signaling the driver to rollout, becoming the lead vehicle in the convoy.

The compound the team was heading to was Dachau, the same Dachau that was a prison camp little more than half-a-century ago. The unsuspecting public was told that Dachau had been set up a place of remembrance for the atrocities that had been committed by the Nazi’s, and in truth there was such a ‘Dachau.’ But that ‘Dachau,’ was just a ruse set up by the government at Umbrella’s behest. The Dachau to which Adolf’s team was heading was the real deal, the same place where many Jews and other ‘undesirables’ had been literally worked-to-death. The Umbrella Corporation had purchased the facilities in the late 1960’s after the last of its inhabitants who’d refused to leave after Allied liberation were forced into comfortable apartments within the city. Umbrella believed the property to be a prime location to start the organization within Deutschland and even helped fund the phony ‘attraction’ in compensation for maintaining secrecy. Regardless, the place to which the team was headed gave Adolf the creeps; and he was sure some other squad mates were feeling it too.

As the convoy neared its destination, driving up to the iron gates, lightening lit the skies revealing the words “Arbeit Macht Frei” forever locked within those very same bars. The gates were constructed to act as two gates within one. The outer gates could be opened to let vehicles through while, when shut, had an inner, single gate through which personnel could pass. As it so happened now, the inner gate was swinging loose, creaking some. Eerily things were silent as Adolf instructed his driver to turn on jeep’s spotlights while, at the same time, getting on a PA system.

”Alright, let’s get some folks on foot. Get those gates open while you’re at it!”

As soon as these words left Adolf’s lips some men were scrambling out of transport vehicles and taking up positions around the entrance while a few other men struggled to open the gates allowing the convoy to continue into the facility’s courtyard -- almost immediately hitting a dog.

”All right, hold it. Let’s check things out. Go into the buildings!” At this point Adolf nodded to his driver as they both exited the vehicle. Adolf stayed near the jeep’s door scanning the scene while the driver went to check whatever they had hit.

”Sir, you may want to take a look at this. It’s a hound all right but there’s no way our jeep did this. It looks like it’s flesh is burned off; and if that’s the case, it’d be a miracle the thing would be able to move at all!”

”Hmm? What do you mean?” Adolf moved to meet his driver at the front of the jeep kneeling down by the mangled body of the animal. Adolf leaned his G36C up against the jeep’s fender. ”I’ll be damned…” Adolf reached out with his gloved hand touching the animal. He’d seen some creepy things Umbrella had done before including a test of a dog’s reaction to one of the many viruses Umbrella had been researching -- its skin reacted as if to ‘melt’ off the body over a period of a month or two, this must be related.

Just then, gunfire lit up windows as several men ran out of what used to be SS Administration building, now what served as a sort of ‘Front Desk’ while concealing a service elevator and one of many stairwells to the ‘underground’ built under the former prisoners’ barracks. (The barracks themselves now serving as storage units, low-end employees’ housing, or having simply been torn down to make room.) The men who ran out screamed of zombies while after them hobbled indeed the zombified body of what had once been the secretary to the facility’s overseer. Several of the soldiers immediately opened-fire and the body toppled over, incapacitated.

”So it’s finally happened,” Adolf muttered, ”A large-scale outbreak’s come to fruition. Damn those scientists and all their carelessness.” Indeed Adolf had taken care of a few small-scale biohazard situations, usually within laboratory environments; but while he had trained for large-scale outbreaks, this would be the first, and it would need to be contained…

However, as these thoughts were going through his mind, a rumble echoed underground. Something was up. ”Fall back! Something’s about to blow!” Indeed one of the large tanks underground did rupture and explode; however, it was due to a massive sinkhole formation. The ground literally fell out from beneath Adolf as he clung to his jeep for dear-life managing to climb inside behind its wheel as it rolled forward into the nothingness of the underground abyss eventually passing out of consciousness. From there, who knows? Whatever happened, he wasn’t at Dachau anymore…

”Arbeit Macht Frei,” And yes, that’s me

When Adolf awoke, thankfully his jeep was still upright. Where he was, however, he did not know. Wherever he was, whatever had happened -- had brought part of Dachau with him. Indeed he was staring straight at the crumbled mass of the old SS Administrative Building, except now it looked as if it had been built as a ‘split-level’ instead of a standard, structural building. He looked to his left and saw several body’s obviously dead; to his right he saw an Unimog upside-down some of its contents spilling out. Quickly Adolf jumped out and transferred everything he feasibly could from the Unimog to the back of the jeep. (His armory, etc…) From here Adolf jumped back into the jeep’s drivers’-side and started the engine, miraculously it started like a charm allowing him to drive off, over Dachau’s steel gate, now unhinged and laying on the alien ground.

After about an hour driving in one direction Adolf noticed some bright lights in the distance. At first he thought it simply mind tricks -- he still wasn’t convinced that where he was, wasn’t simply his mind and he was in a coma -- but as the lights grew brighter he realized he was getting nearer. Soon he could make out several figures, some obviously engaged in some sort of ‘duel.’ Adolf changed gears on the jeep as the vehicle slowed some, the dust cloud that had been trailing behind him shrinking some. He didn’t really know what to make of this, everything was way to bizarre, even for what he’d witnessed working for Umbrella. Adolf continued to slow the vehicle down, each time causing the dust cloud to get smaller and smaller until the jeep finally came to a stop a good several blocks away from the commotion. He wanted to wait to see what happened. He wanted to monitor what he was seeing from afar, partly because he wasn’t quite sure if he’d finally snapped or what. Regardless he waited; if he hadn’t snapped and indeed all of this was real, it probably wasn’t smart if he made the first move as he wasn’t sure of what these ‘beings’ were capable of…

Hiro began to laugh as the balls of fire shot forth rushing not at his own body but towards his Persona. The flickering mass of flames all reached Simon and then effortlessly passed through him smashing into the sand beyond the duo. Shaking his head slowly Hiro stepped to the side as Rozanny charged and lunged at Simon passing directly through him and landed with her back to them.

"You should know better," Hiro scolded at her, "You were in Arcadia. Persona is merely the spiritual manifestation of power from the User. You attack the User not their Persona." There was no avoiding it now, he'd at least have to exert some level of harm to calm down the situation.

"ZIONGA!" Hiro and Simon shouted in unison as powerful crackling bolts of lightning shot forth from the Persona's hand all arcing out in various directions moving swiftly to strike Rozanny; and with any luck might render her paralyzed momentarily and unable to take further action. It was very vague but in the distance Hiro thought for a split second he heard the sound of a car's engine... but how could such a thing have reached the middle of the desert?

After lunging through him, she began to growl more as fire threads arced up around her forming a loose barrier of thin fire threads much like a spider web, this caused the transformation of her eyes to more like a cats eyes... an eerie gold colour... her teeth lengthened much like razors...

Some of the fire threads shot out towards Hiro as she turned and ran to the side before dashing off towards Hiro.

"ZIONGA!"

the word bounced off her as lightning bolts arced towards her, growling in frustration, her irrational side took over.. it became reckless as she charged head on through said lightning bolts..

Alexia, sat on the hill sat watching the fight grew a little worried when she say her mother lose more of herself.. "Mama... Mama... be careful.." Alexia turned her head as the rumble of an engine distracted her.. mumbling to herself she said..."now.. why is there a car here?"

Adolf had been watching these people from afar through a pair of binoculars he’d found on the passenger-side floor of the jeep. However, as he watched them, they seemed to have become aware of his presence.

”What the hell is happening? These people can create fire and lightning out of thin air! I must be dreaming, Shit! Have I been spotted?”

Adolf put the jeep again into gear, but a low one, allowing the vehicle to slowly move towards the group of unknown. As a precaution, Adolf readied the Korth revolver, concealing it under the wheel below their fields of vision while he flipped on the jeep’s external loudspeaker; steering the vehicle and using the receiver with the same hand.

Speaking in English, he started, ”Attention. I mean you… People… No harm. I am simply very lost. I come from a… distant land…” Adolf obviously had no idea really what to say, as he’d never been in a situation such as this before, despite some of his strange encounters. As the vehicle came closer, he was within several meters from the group, but still far enough that if things turned ugly he could attempt and probably manage an escape at high speeds -- under normal conditions. ”I’m coming to a stop now, and would appreciate a few answers. Then I will happily leave you all be.”

"Just go down before this hurts you," Hiro mumbled softly as he stood his ground and continued volleying more lightning bolts via Simon, "ZIONGA!!!" He didn't want her to become brutally injured so trying to stun her was his best choice. As more bolts rushed forth Hiro could hear the loud voice being broadcasted towards them.

He was unsure if the person could hear them as well but Hiro looked in his direction hoping maybe at least he could sight read his lips if nothing more and shouted out to the man, "I'll be glad to help you, there's no real danger here but my friend has currently lost her self-control... and that comes first. If you could help restrain her in a non-lethal manner I'd appreciate any help."

Perhaps it was dangerous calling upon a total stranger for help, but at the same time Hiro could detect a hint of unease in the man's voice; clearly the fight going on before him was something spectacular and beyond the ordinary for him. Knowing this Hiro suspected he'd be more likely to keep a cautious attitude and thus not do anything drastic or dangerous towards Alexia.

Alexia started panicking as Roz suddenly stopped in her tracks and turned slowly almost prowling like towards the newcomer (and her location).. her fire net parrying at Hiro's lightning bolts

Must... Kil.l... Roz's irrational side thought as the fire net surrounding her doubled in size and started to spread out... towards the jeep

Unleashing a load roar, Rozanny summoned about 5 or so soccer ball sized orbs whihc she threw in the direction of the jeep whihc to ROz at that moment looked like a green elephant..

Adolf could not total make out what the male stranger was explaining; though when the female stranger hurled several energy-like somethings at his vehicle, he more-or-less got the gist of things. Quickly, Adolf changed gears and accelerated kicking up a huge plume of dust and smoke as the wheels spun briefly on the desert floor before Adolf managed to swerve the jeep out of harms way. Exiting out of the vehicle he emptied the loaded HK 69 (a 40mm grenade pisto, then loaded with a regular 40mm grenadel) via firing it in her direction but as an obvious miss as a makeshift distraction. He left the G36C in the jeep and holstered the Korth revolver while making his way to the rear of the vehicle. Opening the rear hatch hastily grabbed his Saiga 12K shotgun along with an empty magazine (as the shotgun was already loaded with live/lethal ammunition). As fast as he switched magazines in favor of the empty mag, while tossing the “live” magazine over his shoulder aimlessly. Among the equipment he’d salvaged from the wrecked Unimog were several crates of “less-lethal” ammo. Instead of picking and perusing his possible choices he simply knocked one of the crates onto the ground to take what he could, as he could always clean up later, the mess also meant he wouldn’t have to rely so much on the jeep for ammunition as he could now simply grab what he’d scattered onto the ground. Adolf spotted a belt of 40mm flash-bang rounds, slinging it over his shoulder, while grabbing a mixed handful of 12gauge rubber slugs and beanbag rounds field loading them through the Saiga’s open receiver into the empty magazine as he ran for further cover. With the five shells he’d grabbed loaded, he’d cock the weapon in a second; he slung the Saiga over his other shoulder while loading one of the 40mm flash-bang rounds into his grenade pistol, stepped out of cover, and fired at the raging female. Adolf quickly reloaded the Grenade pistol, still running, this time towards the other male, and fired again.

”What the hell?” he yelled, ”Does she do this every month?”

"Good joke," Hiro called out to his sudden companion in battle, "But just be careful. While we have the reason to not use lethal force she's out of control..." Despite the volley of fireballs the newcomer seemed more than apt at protecting himself; this was fortunate. Seeing as Alexia was also still safe this meant Hiro could keep his focus on subduing Rozanny.

"ZIONGA!" He could feel his brain began to take the strain of casting so many spells as he shouted once more in unison with Simon. More crackling bolts of lightning shot forth rushing to strike a distracted Rozanny as Hiro could feel a powerful surge of pain like a splitting headache.

He could only keep up such powerful and quick casting for just a bit longer. Due to this it was probably a blessing that this newcomer had just happened to arrived. He'd owe him thanks, as well as an explination since he seemed lost, but first Rozanny had to be handled... somehow...

Yup she was distracted alright, the moment her feral looking eyes landed upon Alexia who was waving frantically to get her attention, she froze only to get hit by Hiro's and Simon's Zionga barrage... causing her fire to go out..

Yelping in pain as her body went strangely non-responsive, her legs and whole body gave up.. the force of the barrage pushed her head first into the sand.. while her fire slowly died..

her body seemed to be slowly transforming back to original as her wings lost the partial transformation of fur..

As the battle drew to its close Adolf made his way back to the jeep; it was a little dinged up, but nothing too serious. Casually he set his weapons to safety, laying them in the jeep’s rear as he righted the box he’d dumped over. Adolf scoured the immediate landscape placing the various rounds he’d spread around back into the box from which they were flung.

While trolling the nearby desert for the different rounds, Adolf caught random glimpses towards the strangers. He still didn’t know what to make of everything that had happened as he carried on his own business. With things more or less picked up, Adolf finished repacking his various weapons into the jeep with the exception of the Korth revolver still to his side and the G36C laying against the jeep.

Leaning against the jeep, Adolf brought out a packet of cigarettes bringing one to his lips, lighting it.
