Kinclex nodded, "Yes, we're done. But as a courtesy." Kinclex then folded his arms as several black and white thron-vines appeared from the floor around him. "I'll let you get aquainted with your new found prowess." Two Hunter's and two Dusks had appeared and shortly after a dark portal appeared behind Kinclex. "Until next time Chizu. And should you come, make sure you bring help, cause trust me, you ain't seen nothing yet." He dissappeared into the portal, the darkness closing off and vanishing shortly after. The 4 servant Nobodies that remained floated and shifted in anticipation, having been given orders not to attack first, but not to let Chizu escape either. Although the knew their orders were a suicide mission, they couldn't comprehend that they would die. |

Chizu swore as Kinclex left. Really loudly and really colorfully. Since the Nobodies he left behind weren't attacking her, she figured she had the time. She looked up and faced them, folding her arms and glaring at them. They didn't attack, but they didn't move an inch either. Right, just what she needed. She unfolded her arms; they were beginning to hurt. She sighed and held up her hand. If she was going to do this... "One sec, guys," she said, slowly walking over to the tree where her things were. She could feel their eyes on her back, but since she hadn't technically left the area, they hadn't attacked yet. Chizu pulled out the water bottle and took a long sip, then set it down and picked up her cellphone. She flipped it open and pressed the speed dial. "Damon. I'll be late for dinner," she said. "Later than usual?" "Put it this way. I've got company, and they're being clingy." "Ah. Break them in half for me." "Will do." She hung up, lowering the phone and placing it back on the ground. Chizu turned around to face her enemies, the wind picking up speed around her again until it circled her. Her expression never softened. Her eyes were still as hard as they were when she first faced Kinclex. "...Now, where were we?" she asked. Chizu suddenly extended her hands, and the circling winds around her banked and focused, blades of wind soaring through the air at the four Nobodies. |

As soon as the air blades were thrown at the them, the Nobodies began to move. The Dusks swirled around the Hunters before each one of them was riding on one of them. The Hunter's had a much manueverability, typical of their master. And just like him, they had the power to use electricity. The Hunters floated above and around Chizu, firing off rapid gattling bolts. That was when Dusks began to move. They both jumped off their respective Hunter's back and landed on the ground, dancing around Chizu momentarily before aiming to slash at her with their arms. They seemed to be trained to move in a synchronized fashion when attacking, althought their attack patterns themselves were random. |

And they moved. But really, hadn't she already been expecting that? Chizu's eyes darted quickly from one side to another as the Nobodies began to float around her, seeing the lightning bolts almost the instant they were fired. She knew better than to use the wind to try and shield herself from them. The burns she had received at the hands of Kinclex had taught her that lesson. Her eyes narrowed in concentration. Let's hope that wasn't a fluke... she thought as she forced all her speed into jumping back. Nope, not a fluke. The lightning bolts hit the ground where she had been standing just a few moments earlier. If anyone had been observing, Chizu would have seemed to fade out of view for just a moment as she jumped back and landed in her present location. She jumped into the air again and went into a backflip, avoiding more of the lightning bolts. The other ones. Her eyes immediately darted to the side as the Dusks came at her, remembering something that Lavender had taught her. She dodged the first one, moving towards the second one. Chizu's left arm swung upwards in an arc that would hopefully force the Dusk's corresponding arm up and away. Her right arm swung in the same motion downwards, hopefully to accomplish the same thing, just in the opposite direction. If that worked, Chizu would use the wind between them as her weapon, sending it out towards the Dusk in an unruly wave of blunt force and blades. Her control wasn't as fine as she would have liked, but if that worked out, she would have to thank Lavender for teaching her to use a defense as an offense. |

Chizu's tactic worked very well, taking into account her injuries. Without them she would have been probably able to execute it perfectly. With that one action that Dusks were obliterated, vanishing in a shower of light, a direct contrast to the Heartless. However, the 2 Hunter's that remained wouldn't go down so easily. One hit would not destroy a specialized Nobody, not unless the fighter in question had an unruly power. The Hunter's weren't ones to let up. They were like their master, always ready to dodge, but not one to let an oppurtunity for a close range attack be missed. The one Hunter shifted its body into its ramming mode and aimed to slam into Chizu with an electric tackle while the other fired volleys around her to keep her from escaping from any direction. Kinclex was secretly watching the battle from the dark corridor, unbeknownst to Chizu. Aeromancers couldn't run from lightning forever. This was one of those moments. All she could really do was attack. He was kind of hoping she did, otherwise he would lose a little faith in the prowess she seemed to have gained. |

The tactic she tried made her arms hurt like hell, but it worked, and Chizu was willing to ignore the pain in favor of that. She winced as she pulled her arms away from the last Dusk as it exploded in a shower of light, turning towards the Hunters. Now that the cannon fodder had been taken care of, the fight could really begin. Chizu didn't have much time for thought as one of the Hunters started charging towards her and the other one sealed off her escape. She cursed mentally, since she didn't have time to open her mouth for it. Dodging was going to be impossible here. There was only one thing to do...and it was going to hurt. Chizu gathered the wind around her and let out a shout as she charged towards the Hunter as well, the wind in front of her forming a blade as the wind at her sides pushed her on. She made sure to gather the air not from behind her but from in front of her, between the Hunter and herself. Hopefully it would work the same way it had in Nickle's office and decrease some of the lightning. But even then, it was a risky move. But when the choices were between charge ahead recklessly or stand there and take it, her pride wouldn't let her choose the latter. |

The tactic worked however. Whether it was because Chizu was overcompensating due to the stress she was experiencing or because she had used her powers in just the right way, as the Hunter entered the void zone it's lightning fizzled out. Its eyes glowed in surprise, unsure of how it had actually happened. However, the wind blade sileneced any simple minded thoughts that it had as it too vanished. The problem with the table was, that it put all its energy into offense and left nothing for defense. The second Hunter ceased firing as it watched its partner get taken out. After a moment's observation it lowered itself down to Chizu's level, facing off against her and not moving at all. It was then that it spoke, a droning kind of voice, but one reminiscent of its master. "Is...that...all?" |

Chizu came to a stop, the wind falling away from her as she placed her hands on her knees, catching her breath. Her hair was plastered to her face by blood and sweat, and she could feel a sharp pain in her side with every breath. She had taken out three out of four opponents, but she had already been injured to begin with and had been injured and tired before that. If she won, it hadn't been without cost. She looked up at the last Nobody as it asked her a question, her face pale and drawn in pain as she faced it squarely. She wasn't about to give up, though. There was only one last opponent to fight, and it was this one. She felt around for the air currents. Her aeromancy was as tired as the rest of her, and it felt like she was groping in the dark, looking for the strength to keep fighting. She felt like she was about to fall over. Her whole body ached. And through it all, Aether's voice. She could hear it no matter where she was as the winds circled around her, preparing her for the last fight. What... he began, ...is the nature of air? Chizu frowned from the question. Old man... she replied, watching her opponent carefully. ...This isn't really the best time. This is the perfect time. The nature of air...She hated riddles. Hated people who spoke in them. But she had a feeling that this time, the riddle might be important. She didn't have time to think about it, though, so instead, she felt. She could feel the air around her, more keenly, she realized, than she had ever been able to feel it before. It was there. It was everywhere. Feeling it, recognizing it, it was as natural as breathing. It was breathing. And it...she realized with a sudden shock...was aware of her just as keenly as she was aware of it. Yes, Chizu. It called you. You answered. Today, if you have done nothing else, you have proven that you will become who you were born to be. She would have liked to clarify, but there wasn't any time because her opponent was still waiting for an answer. "No," she replied, and rather than attacking this time, she stood there and waited. It was unlike Chizu to go on the defensive when so much was at stake, but this time it felt right. She watched it carefully, waiting for it to attack. |

Kinclex had watched how she been fighting, there was a definite improvement, however he was growing tired of standing out. He decided he might as well leave her with a parting gift and let his Nobody attack her and end this. After sending it the order, Kinclex began walking along the paths of darkness and back towards the castle. He needed some rest actually, he’d been going around far too much apparently. Meanwhile the Hunter suddenly began to spin, its four limbs spinning then went parallel to the ground turning the Hunter into an electrical shuriken that began to fly towards Chizu in a zigzag pattern, and slowly as it got closer, it would began to charge more and more electricity. Kinclex smiled as he walked away. Had Chizu learned to spot the difference between powering up and a bomb? Only time would tell and she didn’t have much time to decided and choose. |

The Hunter came towards her now. She saw it as if it was in slow motion, as if everything she was, had ever been, and was going to be would be decided by this one moment. She could feel the ache in her legs, in her arms, and over her entire body. She was too tired to run. She was tired of running. She was tired of hiding. She was tired of being weak. Emotions, feelings welled up inside her as she faced the Hunter down. She could feel everything come to a peak, the light inside her coming to the surface with an intensity that seared. Kinclex, I hope you're watching this. This is who I am. I AM Chizu Yamamura. And I answer to nobody. Especially you. Chizu let out a shout and reached out her hand. The light formed into a shape as she ran forward, her eyes narrowed in concentration. A battle cry tore itself from her throat as she slashed at the Hunter, veering sharply to the left as she dodged the explosion. Light fell away to reveal what lay in her hand. ![]() Chizu straightened up, holding her keyblade in her right hand. She didn't turn around to watch the Hunter, keeping her eyes on the woods. The wind blew through her hair once before dying down as she straightened up, blood flowing from the wounds on her head and on her arms. Her mouth was set in a line as she looked ahead of her. |
