Netto E. Takashi

Netto and Randy were scanning the airwaves as their Gummi Ship, the Blackjack, soared above Traverse Town. Netto is the first to pick up a transmission, warning of an attack on EXE. Quickly realizing that this is referring to his homeworld of Terra, Netto curses.
Netto: Randy, take the wheel. I'm taking a shortcut.
Netto adjusts a device on his wrist, then presses a button on it, vanishing from within the Gummi Ship and warping back to his own world. Randy quickly shifts over to the driver's seat and grabs hold of the steering mechanism. He starts to turn the ship around and head back for Terra, but then his own PET picks up a transmission.
???: If you guys... ...busy...
Randy: Spectrum! Hold that signal!
???: ... ...Heartless in Third District. By the Black Tower.
Randy: Third District? ...aww, crap, don't tell me Opposite Armor's ready to play! Man, we just cleared out Guard Armor not too long ago!
A hologram of Spectrum appears on Randy's shoulder.
Spectrum: ...I can definitely feel the Heartless down below. They seem to be centered...right around...THERE!
Spectrum motions toward a certain part of Traverse Town--the Third District. Randy nods and guides the Blackjack in that direction.
???: Lavender acknowledging - I'll be right over!
Before long, the Black Tower comes into view.
???: Damon here. God damn, they just don't know when to lie down and die.
Randy notices a figure standing atop the tower--no, two figures. A second one had just emerged.
Randy: Hmm? There's a couple of people standing on top of the tower...
Spectrum: Hn?! That's--!! Randy, Crossfuse with me!
Randy: Ergh...and get all drained again? Thanks, but I rather enjoy my stamina.
Spectrum: DO IT NOW!
Randy: All right, if you insist...but keep that channel open. Whoever's on it is clearly an ally, and I want to be able to keep in touch.
Bringing the ship to a stop several yards from the Black Tower, Randy pulls out his Synchro Chip and slots it in. After a fancy transformation sequence, Randy is now wearing Spectrum's armor. R Spectrum lifts open his cockpit and sniffs the air.
Spectrum: ...plenty of darkness down below...and the tower itself has a faint scent of darkness as well. I smell the hearts of about a half dozen people below...but I smell nothing from the two atop the tower.
Randy: Our first encounter with Nobodies...let's make a lasting impression.
R Spectrum shifts the Blackjack to PARK, then leaps out of it. As he starts to fall toward the ground, air jets appear in his shoes, and he rockets back into the air. He lands atop the tower, glaring at the two Nobodies.
Randy: Hello, non-existent ones. Mind informing me what you're doing here? I find it a strange coincidence that Heartless are flowing out of the Black Tower while you stand calmly atop it.
Randy smirks, generating a ball of energy in his hand.
Randy: Almost as though the two events are linked...

Katerine was careful to avoid friendly fire, really. The other BOARD riders were there. And Side Basshar basically shot at any mass of heartless ahead of it. But that didn't mean it was immobile. It was moving around, squashing any heartless that got under its legs. Katerine took the initiative as well, and had her Photon SMG ready. She basically shot at any heartless trying to overwhelm her, which was quite a few, but they all met the same photon-beam death.

"Kouta! Hajime! Can you guys hear me?" Katerine yelled, hopping the other two riders could hear her, since she was effectively mute to outsiders, she hoped they were receiving her from whatever BOARD comm device Leo gave the two.

"I'm launching missiles, wide area pattern in 5....4....3....2....1...Firing!"

At that moment, Side Basshar launched 6 missiles, streaking over Kouta and Hajime's heads, before breaking into 8 missiles each, and in a huge spread pattern, exploded within a group of heartless.

"Heads up, here they come!" Lavender warned the Arcadians present, both over the Arcadian link and by voice as the Heartless forces began to make their move. As 8 Soldiers and 2 Shadows moved towards her, Lavender's right hand reached for a weapon slung over her shoulder - in the wake of the recent increase in activity from the Heartless the purple-haired Esper saw the need to be better prepared, and for that she had requisitioned additional weaponry from the GLADIUS headquarters back in Nova Oasis. Lavender unslung her newly-requisitioned MP7A1 submachine gun - given their sheer numbers she'd have to save up on energy for the weaker Heartless and refrain from using aeromancy as much as possible.

As the Heartless moved in, Lavender raised her weapon and fired, using quick presses of the trigger to regulate her fire in short, controlled bursts, using no more than 3 to 4 rounds per Heartless. Her movements were practiced and fluid; aim at nearest Heartless, pull trigger, aim for another, pull trigger; rinse and repeat. With any luck she should be able to destroy or at least damage half of their number before they got close enough for her to use her aeromancy, or so she believed.

What the hell? Lavender thought as out of the corner of her eye she saw Life amongst the masses of Heartless. It's that hippie I encountered in Shambala! What is he doing amongst the Heartless? However, he was of little concern to her at the moment - she had some Heartless to frag, and some teammates to support assuming she's done with the current group attacking her. Still unaware of the darkness inside Life's heart, Lavender shouted him a warning, "Hey! Get out of here, it's dangerous!" the purple-haired Esper hollered over the din of battle. Baka! BAKA! Just what is he thinking!? Lavender cursed in her thoughts - the last thing she needed is to have her hands full trying to protect some foolhardy civilian and leaving her flank wide open. The most she could hope for at this point is that he was actually smart enough to run for cover while the Heartless were occupied with her.

Apparently I am a real threat here. There was only one reason he could think of for why that was going on. If he was a threat then it was because of the Keyblade. He ducked under the roundhouse kick coming at him and slashed up and forward at the Sergeant.

Hopefully it would go down, but he couldn't really hope for that, could he? He had an immediate follow up. Erin thrust the Keyblade forward at the Sergeant's head. Crushing it would be a solid start to the fight. Of he killed one of these then he could push forward

He would destroy this heartless, then rush into the soldiers. Yeah... It wasn't a very good plan. He probably wouldn't do it. He was was a coward. At least he was thinking of doing something though. Hell, they would probably charge him...

Too slow!

The moment the twelve Soldiers surrounded her, the wind that had been swirling randomly around her arranged itself into focused points around her hands, forming blades. Chizu immediately ducked out of the way of the first kick, taking full advantage of the split seconds in between as she ducked and weaved her way around the rolling mass of darkness, slashing and stabbing where she could. Her movements were fluid and quick, so that she appeared rather like a striking snake.

The eighth Soldier to come in managed to kick her across the cheek, and Chizu let out a grunt as she fell to the ground. She quickly rolled over to avoid the ninth, jumping back to her feet and attempting to hack and slash at the Soldiers more with her bladed fists.

A little busy at the moment, she replied when Damon spoke over the mental connection. Even her mental voice sounded strained.

There were no words as Kouta was making the minimal effort to dodge the oncoming Soldiers and Shadows: sidestepping, ducking, that sort of deal. While his armor as Kuuga Mighty was enough to shrug off weak attacks like this, they had numbers and quality of hits didn't matter if you were hit enough. Regardless, as the Heartless passed by him, he'd back a counter punch and/or kick here and there when the opportunity was proper, else, he seemed to be fighting conservatively as he was in the battle for the long haul.

Even then, Kouta still didn't respond to anything, Life's statement was jarring but when one fought against forces like Dark Brain, one was used to seeing people serve Darkness. As such, his only option was to add him to the list of things he needs to beat the crap out of. But that would come later...fighting off the swarm was his priority.

But his power at the moment just...wasn't enough. Sure, he was strong enough that melee striking was enough to deal with lower tier Heartless but Kouta knew he needed the ability to survive this fight...he knew just avoiding hits wasn't enough to do so, the numbers were far too great to dodge them all, as evidenced by the few that managed to hit him, sending Kouta backwards just as Katertine launched her little missile swarm. Unknown to him the Arcle seemed to respond to his wish

"Against evil, his body clad in an armor of steel. Like a fissure, there exists a warrior who cuts them down."

It was the voice in his head from before, and Kouta just turned around in response and reached for the TryChaser's bike handle and pulled it out, before slowly walking towards the fray. He didn't understand why he did it, but just extended the mechanism into it's baton form...did he have something planned? Or was he just following his gut like always?

As a man jumped in front of the growing group of people and told them not to touch the heartless Zorander couldn’t help himself form staring. It was to be excepted that some humans and or intelligent beings controlled/followed the heartless hell Zorander himself most likely fell into that category. But a signal person jumping in front of the growing group of people; even with an army of heartless behind him seemed rather … stupid.

But Zorander’s thoughts were quickly interrupted as the first wave of heartless made contact. Zorander watched as the Shadows slid around the ground and quickly encircled him preventing him from hitting them all with his attacks because they were out of sight. Grimacing he braced himself as suddenly a powerful tunnel of wind shot forward from behind him. The wind was strong enough to pick up and throw the small heartless forward but not quite enough to knock Zorander over because he had braced himself.

As the little creatures went flying through the air Zorander struck at each of them with a wind blade as they came in sight. Unfortunately one of the small shadows did manage to connect with one of its claws on Zorander’s left shoulder before it was thrown forward by the wind leaving a shallow but long gash along it.

Life picked himself up and looked at the fighting around him watching as the heartless came close enough to touch. "All will end soon." Life spotted 3 key enemies to take out to effectively turn this battle permanently in the heartlesses favor. Lavender, Erin, and Katerine. That boy fighting the sergeant needs to be taken care of immediately. The other two can come in due time. Life hoped on top of the tiger and they ran past the battles around them heading right for Erin. As they came close Life leaped off the tiger swinging his life bat downward at his head. The tiger swung its massive paw with razor sharp claws at Erin’s midsection. "YOU WILL DIE HERE BOY!"

Rozanny had landed a tad far back from the heartless force and as a result, was not within attack range just yet. However, several plucky Soldiers, about 5 in total, had taken it upon themselves to make a charge for her and Alexia.

Rozanny stood at the base of the hill, whereas Alexia was on the midway point, as she watched her mother cast several fire orbs creating a huge pentagram around themselves.. this would alert her as to how many entered the area..

As the soldiers charged, Alexia was obilvious.. but as soon as the soldiers crossed one of the pentagram edges, Roz threw a soccer ball sized fireball at the first of the five soldiers.

Alexia jumped back and pushed her hands together attempting to create a lightning orb.. sparks formed aroudn her hands as she concentrated..

Rozanny jumped towards Alexia and swooped down.. and plucked Alexia out of the way, yearning a yelp from Alexia as her concentration broke..

"Hey! aww.." she looked at her hands..

Roz answered calmly... "Wait a sec.." attaching what looked like a fiery rope onto Alexia's clothing.. Roz now had a link with her daughter, the link would only fade.. should Roz die.. but that also meant Roz could use her daughter a mini ball on a chain..

"If I pull and you're concentrating just use the momentum to launch your attack, and ignore everything else.. its the only way I can not lose you during this fight.." Roz hugged the child before letting go.. "lets kick the butts, shall we?"

She grinned and summoned her..

The battle appeared to be going just as planned. The light wielders weren't taking too much damage thus far and if they kept hammering away at the Heartless like this, it would just be a matter of time before 'it' came out. After they defeated it, most of them would have outlived their useful state. They couldn't allow too many of them to become too strong, that was potential risk that went along with relying on the light wielders. No doubt, death could be the only reward for their triumph over the Heartless.

Rorxain had just shown up as well. "Everyone is here now. With everything properly in motion, we simply wait for things to fall into place..." Her tiny gaze shifted to Rorxain. He was integral to the plan as well. More even than their need to kill the light wielders, the Organization needed to be properly tuned. He was just the man to help balance the scales within the group. Suddenly, Noxi's finely tuned hearing picked up the sound of something moving in their direction from above. Rather strangely, a gummi ship was entering the world just above them.

The ship itself wasn't particularly large, so it didn't likely hold a large number of occupants. Inside, she could hear a heartbeat and sense the presence of a light wielder. Only one, it seemed. Attacking them by himself using a single ship seemed not only idiotic, but ill-planned as it seemed to just hover over them for a moment. Even more surprisingly, it slowly placed itself in front of them, on top of the tower. He wasn't even going to use the ship, he planned to fight them on his own. The man who emerged was less than intimidating, it wouldn't take one of them to eliminate him.

What's more, as he addressed them, it seemed clear that he knew exactly what he was up against. This was why emotional beings were so useless and easy to manipulate. They never really thought things through. Noxi tugged on Kinclex's coat and stood on her tip-toes to whisper into his ear. "This nuisance is not part of our plan, I have no doubt that you can handle him on your own, but I'll defend my onii-san from the sidelines. The quicker this anomaly is rectified, the quicker things get back on track." Noxi stepped away from her older brother for the first time since they had arrived.

"Usurper," she said, addressing Randy. "The Heartless are your enemies here as they are ours. The other light wielders down there could use all the help they can get. Fighting us would be pointless and dangerous. Please leave, I'd rather we didn't have to harm you." That much was true at least. She had no qualms killing him, but he was still useful. It would be a shame and a waste to kill him now.

A train whistle pierced the air above the Black Tower as the Denliner finally made its way to the battle area. Saito was now also there to help them out, ever since Aisia met him again. Unfortunately for Aisia, she... didn't seem to want to fight just yet, so only Liz could go for this sortie.

"Allright guys, let's go in and help out! This isn't going to be easy since the damn place is already a damn breeding ground for these things, but let's try our best!" Liz said as she opened the door of the train like it was some kind of parachute hatch.
"Hey... I smell something..." Otoha growled. "I can't quite make it out..."

"Either way, we better help out! Let's go, Otoha, Saito!" Liz said as she jumped out of the Denliner with her belt still on and pass on her hand.
"HENSHIN!"
[SWORD FORM]

She spotted something else out of the ordinary in this... why is there someone else also attacking Erin and siding with the Heartless?
"HEY! Nobody's dying here, you bastard! BOKU, KAREN NI SANJOU!" Den-O yelled as she flew down at Life with a boot to the head!

If OtoLiz was expecting an enthusiastic response from the young swordsman kicking back with his feet on the table and whetstone in hand, she'd be sorely disappointed. If that idiot wanted to jump out of a speeding train without any preperation, good for her. But Saito had other plans, none of them involving something so reckless.

"You know what this means, right? We're not equipped with shields, so buckle up!" he yelled to the sword hanging from his shoulder over the whipping winds coming through the train doors, a sole clank the only reply he needed. Almost instantly, the cool metal floor of the speeding train was replaced with solid and unyielding concrete that sent the youth sprawling as he hit the deck, pure momentum causing a funny little somersualt of sorts.

"Damnit Del, you suck! Jeez, maybe you could slow it down just a little next time?" A certain magical sword couldn't help but snicker as his owner slowly pulled himself to his feet and brushed off, sending clouds of dust flying from his uniform. At least he faired a little better than OtoLiz, who seemed to be aiming a flying drop-kick at some.......person attacking what looked suspiciously like one of the students Saito had seen back at the school.

The ground around the newcomer would start to take on a slight reddish tint as a wave of faint crimson light enveloped Del from point to pommel, flowing from the runes across his fist that looked as if though they were weeping blood. Satisfied that he was fully ready, Saito took off at a sprint after Otoha, sword firmly in hand.

The Third District quickly turns into a small-scale battlefield with a war going on between the large Heartless horde and what amounts as the few groups of fighters that can and are more than willing to prevent their dark intentions from becoming true.

Hajime watches carefully as Katerine's missiles streaks overhead and impacting into the mass of Heartless around them. Somehow, Hajime didn’t seem to hear anything at the moment, as if the sound of the world has cut off. Yet, he fought on in silence as if the unnerving silence he was subjected under were normal. Granted, it allowed him to focus solely on fighting and surviving.

As Hajime executed a spinning kick at a group of three Soldiers, he saw Kouta walking up slowly into the fray holding what he remembers was the baton of his bike, making Hajime wonder in silence at just what is his Kouta-senpai going to do.

Life's attack would never hit Erin. Life would also probably appreciate the irony of the moment. Isaac moved through the battle in his camo cloak, avoiding the minor heartless. He had originally intended to go for the black robed man but he had been distracted by the sight of Life. The healing wound over his left eye still stang from his last fight with the bastard. This was revenge. Isaac unseathed his blade and infused it with his anger, his hatred, his desire to cause pain to Life. The shining silver blade seemed to dull slightly and go a darker tint of silver whilst a purple smog engulfed the blade. Revenge.

Isaac charged at Life, his cloak was useless against Life, he knew that so he pushed the hood back. He pushed past a couple soldiers that stumbled and turned to give chase behind him. Isaac didn't care. Life wasn't riding his tiger. That didn't change anything now. Isaac charged at Life as he attacked with his bat. He slashed downwardly across Life's back, hoping he'd hit him with his corrupted blade. The two Soldiers split, one attacked Isaac and one attack Life. Isaac dodged monsters claws before kicking it away.

"Remember me you fuck!?" Isaac snarled loudly.

Rorxain looked to Kinclex. "Should I have the dark wielder eliminated?" He raised his arm as if to summon a few Knights when the gummi ship arrives. He halted the summoning process and all that could be seen a a flicker in the surrounding shadows. He addressed Randy.

"It really would be in your best interest to listen to the young lady. We have a common enemy in the Heartless. It would be a shame to see talent be wasted while fighting a friend, not a foe,"he said in his most convincing tone, knowledgeable, with just a hint of possible warning and threat.
