Bah! The blasted monstrosity was too fast to strike. Ah, but wait! It looked like the thing was slowed down thanks to Nickle and his quick thinking. This might just prove to be useful. He ran to the slowed beast's head, and raised his sword up. "Please work please work PLEAAAAASE work." He muttered hoping to end this creature.

He then brought down the sword at the beast's neck, aiming to try and make a major wound, if not outright decapitation. If not? Well.....At least he's trying, and that's what is important really.

Also Dodd, your invocation is denied due to Quirk's Exception: Intentional invocation of this so-called "Nazi Clause" is ineffectual. Or Navi Clause, as the case may be.

OoC: Bah, that exception only applies if I were using it right XP (and it was NOT intentional, btw, except in that I chose to mention it). I merely meant Godwin's Law in the looser sense of "hey look, someone mentioned Nazis!" :P

BiC:

Was there anything for Ed to do, IC...? Was it time to wake up? He couldn't recall... so he sleepwalked into the battle area and stood there watching with possibly-still-closed eyes.

Back to OoC: I'm not in any other Topics because I haven't joined any yet ;>.> Plus, still accustomed to that board with ONE topic at a time rules :P

Netto E. Takashi

OoC: Yes, ED, you're awake now.

BiC:
Netto jolts back as his spear dissolves from his hand, his armor vanishing from around him. With Gungnir gone, Netto found himself holding only its hilt--the Dimensionite Staff. This could hardly be considered a weapon, but it still inflicts a tiny amount of damage to Navis, and Magne had already been auto-hit twice. This third auto-hit, from Netto's staff slamming into Magne's Navi icon, manages to force Magne back to his PET, as per the rules of EXE.

Grasping his chest, Netto lets out a loud, pained groan. His eyes dart around the battlefield, looking for Spectrum. He had no idea how the CrossDimensional Fusion was broken, but his Navi should still be around...shouldn't he? A look of horror crosses his face as he realizes the truth: Spectrum's nowhere to be seen!

Netto: What...the hell...DID YOU DO TO ME?!
Netto's face turns red as he swells up with rage. He pulls out his Keyblade, right over top of his Dimensionite Staff, generating a Keyblade with anti-Dimensional properties. This weapon was unlike his normal Keyblade, having a blade five feet in length, and colored black with glowing yellow spots all over. The yellow spots fade from bright to dim and back again, giving the Keyblade a pulsation that makes it seem almost alive. A pair of white eyes adorn the tip of the blade, one on either side, and a sort of mane extends out over the hilt. The "teeth" of the blade are sharp and jagged, colored pure white. This gives the impression of a mouth ready to bite down into his opponent's face. Finally, the tag on this weapon is an odd-shaped stone with the same color scheme as the Keyblade itself. As Netto glares at the Behemoth, his intense fury actually manifests as a slight burning sensation in the air near him.
Netto: You bastard Heartless! BURN IN HELL!!
Netto throws his Keyblade, known henceforth as "Gospel's Fang," at incredible speed toward the Behemoth. It spins as it flies, making a howling sound as it rips through the air. The moment the weapon reaches the Behemoth, hit or miss, it flies right back into Netto's hand...but he's not done. No, far from it. As Netto catches Gospel's Fang, he allows its momentum to carry it back to a position behind himself, whereupon he throws it once more. Again, the blade howls through the air and attempts to take a bite out of the Behemoth's backside before returning to its owner. Not about to let up, Netto throws the blade again, and again, and again. Each throw had enough force behind it to leave a sizable mark on the Behemoth. On his sixth and final throw, Netto pulls back extra hard, then releases Gospel's Fang with twice the force of each of his previous throws. Though Netto was now without his Navi, he was proving to be far from defenseless...

Power Suppressant: Round 3/3

"You've got to be kidding me!" Selene lamented as the Behemoth moved like a bullet train, even with one injured leg! The Valkyrie missed her strike entirely, landing on the floor with her light-infused longsword sinking into the tarmac and leaving behind a small impact crater. Thankfully, Nickle managed to do some good as his chain tripped up the Behemoth, causing the Valkyrie's claymore to dig deeper into its chest and doing extra damage, with the Behemoth's wail of pain to show that the attack worked, along with Jameson's combined assault from his Persona.

"Now!" Selene shouted as she sent her Radiant Valkyrie towards the grounded Behemoth, the massive Heartless thrashing about in an attempt to dislodge the combatants riding on it. While Meglumar attempted what would be either a decapitating strike or an arterial slash and Netto let loose with his keyblade the Valkyrie jumped forward, sword raised above her head as she attempted a downward slash aimed at the Behemoth's spinal vertebrae. That punk is going down! Or so she hoped anyway.

Meteor On Ready?
Taiga's first thought as she watched the ZeroGasher's bolt slam into the Behemoth, who then fell and skidded towards them, was a scene from the movie Men in Black where the main characters shot down a spacecraft then stood still as it crashed right towards them. Ryuuji seemed to know what he was doing, standing perfectly still and watching as the massive Heartless skidded to a halt at their feet.

After all, the fight was over from them.

"That's... the limit," Ryuuji said, bowing his head in apology as the Zeronos Card in his hands finally fizzled out into nothingness. As soon as it vanished he reached down and hit the release for the Zeronos Belt, holding it aloft in his left hand as the armor glowed and collapsed down away from Taiga's body. What was left was Taiga, standing there in front of the Behemoth with her hand out--though the Zeronos Belt had vanished along with the armor, making it look like she was holding some sort of invisible glass.

She didn't feel any different. If she went back home and bothered to measure it'd be noticeable for sure, but at least right now, a centimeter didn't feel any different. It was worth it to protect this world... wasn't it? The problem was, the Behemoth wasn't dead. It was a problem Ryuuji knew even before the transformation deactivated, so Taiga's prediction as to his next move was right-on.

Taiga raised her hand to the sky and waited. Within seconds her bokken fell right into her hand, which she grasped with her other hand and pulled back over her right shoulder. "This is all I have left. It's not much, but it's all I have! This is for making me use a card, you damned monster!" Taiga yelled, then thrust the bokken right at the Behemoth's forehead with all her might!

"Let's end this..." Jameson said snickering at the sky. "Let's bring it all down! Let's drag it down!" He roared out in laughter. Castor stood before the beast. His chest was suddenly glowing reed before launching a red lance of fire which exploded. Jameson was clearly not bothering to avoid the other combatants with the flames, however the bulk of the attack was aimed at the creature.

"Zio!" Jameson roared, another lightning bolt falling and crashing towards the beast. "Hurm.. My limit.." He mumbled. The two moved into melee range. Pollux struck with his needle arm while Castor used his lance to spear the beast like he was jousting on his skeletal steed. Jameson, meanwhile, was recovering outside the main battle radius. This seemed to be winding down..

But there was still some time for fun~

Star quickly pushed herself off the ground as the Behemoth moved, moving out of the way as quickly as she could. It was bad enough that she was useless. The last thing she wanted was for her to get trampled, or worse somebody getting hurt because they had to move her out of the way. She clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palm. It hurt--Star had never been one for short nails.

"Damn it," she muttered, wishing she could just do something to bring the Behemoth down. She couldn't believe that earlier she had been celebrating just because they had managed to take down a Bolt Tower. Because they were the only group that had taken down a Bolt Tower. She looked down at her feet and noticed she was standing next to some rubble.

...Was she really that desperate?

Oh yeah.

"Just go down already!" she said, picking up a rock from the pile and tossing it at the Behemoth. She continued to do that with as many rocks as she could get her hands on. So...okay, maybe it wasn't the smartest of moves, but Star was desperate.

Emperor Dodd

Since Ed is apparently awake now, he stumbles out into view of what's going on combatastically. He looks on... and doesn't really see anything that tells him how he could usefully contribute, though he DOES see Netto Ars Arcanum-ing a Buggy/GreatBeast-looking beatstick (Keyblade) at a giant pink thing (he's familiar with Navis, Viruses and similar, not so much KH lore :P).

Also, it occurs to Ed suddenly that seeing NETTO here might mean Spectrum's NOT here, since Netto would be WEARING him, ordinarily... well, sort of. This worries Ed that the foes might have some ability that cancels out Dimensionalization and Crossfusion... Ed hurriedly notes that he, himself, IS still Crossfused. It must not be an area-of-effect thing that hit everyone, he infers.

"Um... anyone need, I dunno, an attack-strength boost? If we each can even still use our Main, um, Powers..."

Ed, still as GreatGrandGuyGaiden, notices an ally has resorted to throwing rocks at the beast. He points his giant bazooka-like gun at an almost vertical angle, braces it against the ground, and fires a stream of small, scalpel-like knives into the air. They stab into the ground in a circle of sharp things just far enough away from Star that they definitely won't unintendedly nick her hand on the way down, as Ed calls out to her.

"If you've resorted to throwing things at it, try these! They won't be any more effective than the rocks, but a cut from a FalseSwipe blade is guaranteed to hurt like hell! It's something, right?"

Nickle grinned. It actually worked! Hot dang things might just be taking a turn for the brighter! He couldn't believe he'd managed to hold on through all of that. But he didn't have time to start being jubilant after only just getting it down. As the massive, skidding Heartless finally came to a stop, Nickle knew he needed to deal damage to it right now alongside the others if they were going to beat it. So it was time to pull out the big guns.

It needed to be finished once and for all. Nickle released his grip on Kaneryuu and watched it fall to the ground next to the Behemoth. He could retrieve it later and any damage it sustained, well luckily he had a blade that healed itself. Nickle stood up ontop of the Behemoth. He couldn't do any jumps or fancy moves, so he'd have to settle for something more basic and direct.

Nickle did not yell out it's name, but in a flash of light, his golden keyblade appeared in his right hand. And then, in his left, light began to form in the shape of an orb, before growing and expanding into the shape of a blade. "You know what happens to a horse after it falls right? Well, same goes for you pal." Nickle stabbed both blades down into the Behemoth's head as far as he could.

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
Unfortunately, Kyra did not wake up. At least, not right away, as her dream was far too constricting to wrestle away from. Since she was a navi, she didn't really understand the concept of a dream and therefore snoozed on.

The three shadowy figures turned out to be gray weasels with black lightning bolt-patterns on their fur. The tallest (by 2 foot and a half inch) wore a silver eyepatch over his right eye, the second tallest (2 foot, and a quarter inch) wore his gold eyepatch over his left eye, and the runt (1 foot, 11 inches) who wore two black leather eyepatches over both eyes), all stared at her with slight interest.

"We're the Weasel Brothers, a physical manifestion of your very own keyblade." The big one said, bowing down his head towards her. "I'm Rip. My right-hand man is Shove, and the idiot who's not blind is Tear." The two weasels also bowed down, worshipping her. "We are big fans of your work. Once you call upon us, we will merge as one to slice your enemies to pieces."

"And if it's a beautiful lady, we mess around and have some 'fun'." Tear drooled in a perverted fashion, only to get knocked on the head by Rip and Shove.

"But why me? And why are you weasels? I always preferred Ermines." Kyra blinked, starting to feel the dream slip away from her.

"Who knows, doll? All you need to know is once you call for the WildWind, we will slice all foes apart with the power that is dormant within you, the power of hope." Shove grinned smugly, chewing on a reed in his mouth. "Just like Lady Snowflake is doing to your Master."

She turned to see SH then, being comforted by the woman who was no longer overshadowed. Instead, the woman was like a gentle, freeflowing spirit with pearly, white hair that flowed down her back and around her silver kimono. Her skin was pale yet smooth, the eyes gleaming jade green as she gave him a proper massage with her delicate hands. She had no feet to speak off, since a ghostly tail of mist was coming out where legs should be.

"Lady Snowflake can barely talk or fight, yet she's a purehearted Keyblade. Excelling in defense, she is a Ice-based Keyblade whose eternal beauty in battle dazzles all of us." Tear explained, watching Kyra's jaw drop in disbelief at how gorgeous and evenly proportioned she was. "Yet at the same time, she is powerless at this point. He has taken up the shield, and you the sword. That, Kyra....is the destiny between you two; human and navi. Go now, and destroy what the Nobodies have created."

"I understand. Thank you." Kyra nodded, glad to have met such useful friends as she slowly faded back to conciousness.

Fan Karsus

Karsus groans as he awakens and grabs his head. "Oww...my head...how long have I been out?"
"Not long, master."
"Hmph...long enough. Can't believe that house just blew up on me!"
"It was quite a surprise."
"...when did you become so talkative? I thought you said hardly anything when you didn't have a heart installed."
"..."
"...that's what I thought. Anyway, we've gotta--" Karsus stumbles and lands on one knee, clutching his head in pain. "Arrgh...you...you go on ahead of me. I need another moment to recover."
Lanceman nods and exits the building he and Karsus had taken cover in. He spots the Behemoth, which appears to have been tripped up by some sort of chain, and is now wriggling around on the ground. That made things easier. Dashing forward, Lanceman leaps into the air and pulls out his Kwan Dao, which, for some reason, deals him a bit of damage. He notices this, but pushes it to the back of his mind for the moment, diving down on the Behemoth and attempting to stab it in the backside.

[OOC: FUCK YOU CHROME FOR ERASING MY POST. Anyway, time to close this, sorry about that.]

Before everyone's attacks hit, the Behemoth suddenly glowed red and seemed to become... transparent! The Behemoth Quantized itself and reformed at a nearby safe distance away from everyone else.

Meanwhile, something else was happening to the world. The ground began to shake at Netto's use of his keyblade, and the tip suddenly shot a black beam of light at the sky, which caused a portal to open before revealing some kind of strange artifact inside.

It was the World Heart of EXE!

Seeing its chance, the Behemoth shot out a beam of light before anyone could react, and the portal exploded!....

And it was over.

The battlefield was now just a floating rock in some kind of black empty space, the remains of what used to be the EXE world. Everyone who fought in the battle survived it seems (except the obvious one who decided to get himself shot in the head with his own ki bullets), even the one who got stabbed in the back (yes, no matter what Netto did or what the rules in EXE are or whatever, the GM has decided to ignore that and keep Magne there).

"<Tch. I was too late.>"
Xaturoh sighed in frustration as she saw what happened. She tried to get to the world in time, but her natural penchant for completely screwing up the use of the Dark Portals struck again. She couldn't get there in time to stop someone from using his keyblade wrong.

She glared at Netto. "Fool! Using your keyblade like that and letting your anger get the best of you has cost you your home. Only because you couldn't be arsed to use your own power and relied too much on your toys. Nice job breaking it, Hero."

With that, she tossed something to everyone. It seemed to be a bunch of black USB Flash drives that had something written on it.
Posted Image

"Here. Something that I found from what remains of this world. I'm sorry I couldn't get here in time to save it. Perhaps... this will help you in future endeavors. And maybe you won't fuck it up next time like he has."
With that, she opened up a Dark Portal and left what was left of EXE.

... and of course, hoped that she would actually get somewhere relevant this time.

EVENT REWARD TIEMZ!

Name: Troll Gaia Memory
Type: One-Use
Event: Tranquility Lane
Description: A black flash drive that was left by the Heartless after they destroyed the world of EXE. It seemed that in their endeavor to destroy it, they've found a way to disable the powerful Chip Abilities of its Navi residents, bringing them all down a peg and forcing them to fight the Heartless toe to toe by themselves. This is all that is left of it, a final plea by the world itself so that those who fight for other worlds would not suffer the same fate.
To activate it, the user must press the USB socket against his or her wrist, causing it to say TROLL in a strangely deep voice that sounds like a Certain Disagreeable Dad who can't get over how his wife is dead. A barrier then appears before them (which looks strangely like an AT Field from Evangelion), allowing them to nullify any and all attacks being thrown at them for a single turn. This only applies to attacks being aimed at them though, and cannot be used to support defend someone else. As soon as the attacks are nullified, the flash drive overheats and breaks apart, rendering it unusable ever again, even as a simple Flash Drive. Truly a pointless device.

[OOC: Feel free to post an exit post, as this event is officially done. I would also say you should all get +1 to any Light or Dark attribute, but since we're also timeskipping anyway, it's kind of a moot point.]

"How... how vexing!" Selene clenched her fists as she stamped her foot in frustration as her Valkyrie missed her strike - again. The reddened Behemoth turned transparent, as if it were being unsummoned from existence, except that it wasn't gone. It merely reappeared nearby, out of the range of the attacks aimed at it. For something this huge, this particular Heartless was also one dirty coward who's good at evading!

The Briton's frustration wouldn't last long as she swayed slightly, fighting to maintain her footing as the ground beneath her quaked. "Oh no..." Selene mumbled as she beheld the sight of a portal opening up in the sky, revealing an artifact within. And then the Behemoth fired a beam of light at said artifact before Selene could do anything about it.

"Bollocks!" The Briton exclaimed as the portal and its contents exploded. This was bringing back some really bad memories of Hyakuji's final moments, something that she didn't want to relive.

How long had it been? Selene slowly opened her eyes; ACDC Town was gone, and so was the world they'd fought to protect. All that remained was a rock floating through a black void. The residents of the EXE world were gone, but somehow, she and the others survived, as Selene gave a cursory glance of her surroundings to see who were around before hanging her head sadly.

"Hinata?" Selene asked in surprise at the girl in black who appeared out of a portal; the last she remembered of her friend, she stayed behind to combat the Heartless while the others found the portals that took them offworld.

"Fool! Using your keyblade like that and letting your anger get the best of you has cost you your home. Only because you couldn't be arsed to use your own power and relied too much on your toys. Nice job breaking it, Hero." As Xaturoh berated Netto for the reckless use of his Keyblade that apparently exposed the world heart of EXE to destruction, Selene resisted the urge to simply step forward and throttle Netto. It was things like these, that made her take very seriously what her father taught her, that like all forces that meddle around with the finer workings of the universe, magic was something to be respected and used with great care.

The Briton sighed as she looked at her hands before lowering them - the denizens of the EXE world were done in by one man's recklessness, and as much as she felt he deserved a form of punishment, killing him wouldn't bring any of them back. If anything, they could only continue to soldier on - if they could find some way to reclaim Hyakuji, perhaps the same force could undo what happened to EXE.

Selene raised an inquisitive eyebrow as Xaturoh passed around flash drives. As the Nobody of Hinata/Hotaru left, Selene looked to Star, Jameson and Nickle. "So, what should we do now?" she asked.

Netto E. Takashi

Netto's eyes burn a bright red as he resummons Gospel's Fang, then hurls it one last time toward the Dark Portal. It fails to reach the portal in time to stop Xaturoh, but it was more an expression of rage than anything. How the hell was this HIS fault?! He'd already been using his Keyblade before, it just came out different this time. How was he to know that it would cause something so bizarre to occur?? Besides, that Behemoth had it coming!
Netto: If I ever see you again, Nobody, I'll make you truly non-existent!
There's a beeping sound from Netto's PET as his Navi awakens within. Netto is startled for a moment, then swipes his PET from his chest.
Netto: Spectrum?!
Spectrum: What the hell happened?? How did that Heartless log me out while I was under the effects of DarkInvis??
Netto clenches onto the PET tightly, Gospel's Fang turning back into his Dimensionite Staff. He closes his eyes and grits his teeth.
Netto: I don't know...but mark my words, those Heartless bastards will pay!
Putting away his staff, Netto grabs at a device on his wrist and presses a button, activating his Dimensional Transporter to warp back to the Blackjack, wherever in the multiverse it currently is. The Flash Drive thrown to him by Xaturoh is carelessly dumped in a pocket and promptly forgotten about.

Fan Karsus

OOC: LAME!

BIC:
"Hmph! How arrogant. She assumes that man HAS powers of his own, when in fact, such things are a rarity on EXE." The Flash Drive thrown to Karsus is redirected telepathically and lands right in his shirt, opposite his collection of hidden kunai. "I, myself, only gained these powers upon leaving this world, and I'm still developing them. It's only natural that this supposed 'fool' use his 'toys.'" He closes his eyes and crosses his arms. "That said, I cannot deny that the result from doing so was devastating. This...'Keyblade'...it is a truly dangerous thing." Karsus turns around and heads for the nearby vortex that leads to Traverse Town (which just happens to have sprung up in the place Karsus was living in at the time, hence him knowing its location). Anyone with no other way out of here should feel free to follow.

Lanceman says nothing the whole time, and simply returns to Karsus' PET as he leaves.
