OoC: So Kyra was attacking the wiring? Hm. Kinda thought I might have missed someone...but it's still true that no one else was yet trying to enter House 3. BTW, Karsus and Lanceman are now in House 3. Or...they will be by the end of this post. BiC: Fan Karsus ducks into the corner just outside the door as the Large Body emerges. He motions for Lanceman to hide in the opposite corner, which he does. Luckily for the two of them, the Large Body waddles right past without noticing them. As the Large Body gets out of the way, they spot a group of Shadows headed toward them, with a Soldier in front. Karsus points to the Soldier and says simply "Get him." Lanceman nods slowly and leaps forward, slashing at the Soldier with his halberd. As Lanceman deals with the Soldier, a kunai knife flips up from Karsus' hakama, into his free (left) hand. He then throws the knife at the nearest Shadow, putting great force into the throw and aiming right at the Shadow's forehead (which IS the largest target on a Shadow). He does this four more times, once for each Shadow. Although he's not left-handed, his recently-discovered telekinetic abilities allow for him to put as much force and accuracy into the throws as if he were using his dominant hand. Karsus then motions to Lanceman to head into the house, and Lanceman breaks off combat with the Soldier. They both enter House 3, at which point the two of them encounter the Bolt Tower and Strafers. "Oh dear." Karsus quickly discerns that the Strafers use highly accurate guns--the type that could pierce through Lanceman's Stealth effects. As the Strafers raise their guns to fire, he yells out "DODGE!" Karsus dives to the ground and somersaults in one direction, while Lanceman dives down and somersaults in the opposite direction. "We need to clear out the gunners ASAP. Try using Flood!" Lanceman nods slowly and spins his halberd around. Catching it with the blade pointed downward, he thrusts it straight into the ground, causing a burst of water to rise up. He then slashes the blade through the ground to either side, causing even more water to burst out of the ground. He then uses his kwan dao like a lever, pulling it out and shoving the water forward at the same time. The tsunami so generated is aimed such as to crash down on two of the three Strafers. Whether the water hits or misses, a large puddle (9x9 feet) is left in the area, which Lanceman stands on the edge of. Karsus dashes toward the one Strafer not targeted by the Flood, and slashes at it with his katana. Custom: Full Chips: None Program: Ninja Style - Elemental Ninjutsu active: "Flood" - Alignment Ninjutsu unused Heart: None Kunais used up: 5/20 Edit Didn't notice the Soldier and Shadows attacking me. >_> Fixed. AT HOUSE 2 As the big body past Ryme he almost attacked it but halted as it lumbered off. goo now I don’t have to fight it. Ryme ducked into the house, and was fired upon by the strafers. "Heh" Ryme dodge the first two but was hit in the side by the third laser. "That all you got!" Ryme threw all of his shards; the two water shards sent massive volumes of water taking out the shadows coming out of the computer and were still heading towards the strafers and the bolt tower. The three fire shards created a massive inferno setting the house interior on fire and boiling the water that was in the air creating a massive cloud of mist and fog. Ryme ducked back out and pulled out two more water shards and threw them in sending water at everything putting out the fires around the house and speed towards what was left of the heartless if there was anything left. Ryme grabbed his side and looked down seeing his armor melted and blood poring out of the wound. "I might just have to sit out the rest of this fight. Rymes vision started to tunnel as he drew in a deep breath. |

Netto and D. Spectrum reach the door to House 4, but are quick to duck to the side when a Large Body starts trying to cram its girth through the entrance. It's a very tight fit, but somehow said Large Body manages to squeak through the door without destroying the frame. That said, the door frame isn't entirely undamaged, and will require some repair work. Netto, having turned his back to the exterior wall of the house while attempting to avoid the Large Body's gaze, quickly notices the Heartless headed for him and his allies...but not, for some reason, headed for Spectrum. Noting that there are Soldiers leading the three groups headed in his general direction, he figures this is probably due to a shortage of Soldiers or some such. Netto: Hey, Spectrum, we've got-- Before Netto can finish his sentence, Spectrum dashes past the Soldiers, slashing at all three of them with his AirSword in an attempt to not only damage them, but also blow them back. Using his level 2 Dark alignment powers, he summons three of his own Soldiers behind himself, which attempt to direct the Shadows away from Netto, Star, and Meglumar. At the very least, the Shadows would be confused, and the coordination of their coordinated assaults would fall apart. Netto smirks. Netto: I see you noticed them, too. All right, what say we take a look inside? Spectrum nods, spins his AirSword around once and placing the flat of it against his back as thought sheating it. The AirSword then vanishes from his hand, and he dashes into House 4 ahead of Netto. As the first characters to be posted as entering, Netto and Spectrum enter before Meglumar and Star. Immediately upon entering, Spectrum finds himself being shot at. He dives to the side and fires an Ultra Ball at the middle of the three Strafers. Due to his use of AirSword, his SubType has been set to Wind, causing the Ultra Ball to suck in all four of the Heartless in the room before its very large explosion blows them all away in different directions. Sadly, in order to make his Weather Ball's explosion nice and large, Spectrum had to also make it very weak, so the Strafers and Bolt Tower will take very little damage, even if they ARE caught in the blast. Netto doesn't have quite the reflexes Spectrum does, but luckily for him, the Strafers' aims are thrown off by the aforementioned Wind-based Weather Ball, and their shots go awry, hitting the walls instead of Netto. Netto: Whoa! What are THOSE? Spectrum, having landing on his side as a result of his dive, quickly pulls himself to his feet. Spectrum: ...the three with guns are...Strafers. The other one's a Bolt Tower. Netto: Bolt Tower? As in lightning? As in extra damage to you when you're in AquaCustom Style? Even MORE damage on IceStage?? Spectrum: ...yeah, that sounds about right. Netto: ...well, crap. Guess we'll save the ice for later, then. Gotta deal with the Bolt Tower NOW! Netto dashes straight forward, focusing Light energy into the palm of his hand, which quickly materializes in the form of a Keyblade. Grasping the handle, he leaps a short distance into the air and performs a vertical slash on Bolt Tower's...side. Spectrum: No, no, no! Aim for the FACE! Netto: Ehh? After glancing back at Spectrum for a moment, Netto takes another look at the Bolt Tower, and sure enough, there's a rounded bulge on one side with a face on it. Netto: Oh. Spectrum sighs and readies his FireArm, thereby changing his SubType to Fire. He points it toward the first Strafer to recover from his earlier Ultra Ball and unleashes a torrent of flames. Netto: WAIT! YOU'LL BURN THE HOUSE! Spectrum blinks at Netto's words, then realizes what he means. By that point, though, it was already too late--the wallpaper had caught fire--so Spectrum just keeps his flamethrower-type weapon going. Netto: ... *sigh* Whatever. Realizing that the Bolt Tower and the other two Strafers won't stay down forever, Netto enters a defensive stance and prepares to block, dodge, or even counter whatever attacks they may launch on him next. Custom: 2/8 Chips: IceStage, FireArm (right hand), AirSword, Bubbler Programs: AquaCustom Style, SuperArmor Current SubType: Fire (also Aqua due to AquaCustom Style) |

Star followed Netto inside the door, stepping back just in time to allow the Large Body out. She blinked after it, already prepared to fight it if it turned around. "Well, someone's in a hurry," she told Meglumar when it completely ignored them. Star couldn't let herself think about who the Large Body would be heading for next. There were bigger and more important fish to fry. She ran into the house, already calling more light into her hands. The relative darkness inside the house cut her supply of light in about half, making recharging slower. Star was still at 100% and could probably keep that pace for about ten minutes before she had to slow down. So it was just mean of the Heartless to choose the indoors as their location. "I'll cover you, love," said Star, gesturing quickly at the Bolt Towers before firing two orbs of light at each of the Strafers. Meglumar was the better fighter, and it looked like the sooner the Tower went down, the better. |

His roar did not go unheard, as four Large Bodies honed in on his and several others who were in a diversionary position while the others take care of problematic houses. Tatsumi didn’t mind, as his battle lust slowly takes over, he was up for anything the world would throw at him: he feels invincible! He made a sound that part laughing part roaring, before charging head on at the first closest Large Body. Instead of punching it first though, Tatsumi opens his fists and with both of his palms, he hit it flatly at the Large Body’s fat tummy, intending to push back the fat lard with force before going in for a kill, maybe with a kick to its face. |

Unfortunately it had been Allegra’s day off, her twin brother already at the Official Base doing some rather plain paperwork. She just woken up inside their standard suburban home, the one they poised as a front for rather lucrative purposes. However their secrecy would prove to be a reward with today’s incident. While everything inside the house used the internet as a electricity substitute it had be used manually. No inputs, no computer, nothing that would seduce them to their more private hobbies which, for their job’s sake, could never be found out. Slipping out of her robe and into some more casual clothing she outfitted herself with her PET, guns, and today’s shopping list before taking a step downstairs. Due to the lack of a computer her house was left untouched from spewing out heartless. This gave her sufficient time to make sure she had everything she needed before starting up the cappuccino machine for her morning treat. Until everything just went batshit crazy. The warning signs of the heartless escaped her knowledge, the ACDC resident’s screams muffled by the frame of their houses. However the swarm of heroes to come had nothing to silence their rather loud arrival. The sound of a loud train pulling through the area certainly raped her attention as she pulled away from the brewing coffee to take a look outside. That’s not the metroline, that’s my wife! Well not really. Rather than the daily ACDC metroline, which was underground mind you, came various vehicles. Trains without tracks, battle ships, exploding cars, lightning bolts; it was quite the clusterfuck outside. But it was what attracted such a clusterfuck that made her wince. The viruses that the bases had told her about were being dimensionalized in to her area. Aside from her house all her neighbors were pouring out these lecherous black cockroaches. While the various insanities outside settled themselves with a clash of weaponry Allegra blew past her door and readied her trigger finger. Luckily for Taiga the first thing Allegra saw was her Net Ranger’s rip off costume jousting swords with a soldier. In an attempt to save her favorite afternoon cartoon hero she fired off one of her glocks at the soldier while it was busy locking swords. The slight ringing off her weapon didn’t distract her enough to ignore the loud crash of several doors. The Large Bodies made their presence known and with Altair Form busy dueling Allegra took her chance to be a hero, to her own not-really-the-hero-she-thunk-it-was hero. Taiga wished for aid from her comrades? She’d get it in the form of a new comrade from a case of mistaken identity. Allegra ran toward the Large Body that had aggroed Taiga and began firing. In mere moment she had emptied her clip, both her hands working in tandem to holster the empty gun and draw her backup. Within a few steps she had her second weapon drawn and hastily emptied another magazine of lead into the beast. With both her weapons used up she had to rely on her ace to fight whatever of the Large Body was left, and considering it wasn’t as small as the regular minion heartless it would probably be left standing. One hand strayed for her left buttocks while it slipped into the small pocket and whipped out her PET. With her free hand she pulled the synchro chip behind her ear and held it out. “C R O S S F U S I O N !” In one swipe she slid the chip in, causing the personal device to cause a bright flash. In moments Allegra was stripped of her clothing, her body draped in a bright light as pieces of armor began to take form. Thick black cottony fabric began to form around her naked body, each piece matching up and sealing tightly against her body to portray each and every curve. With her unbaggy sweatpants and hoodie formed the light began dulling into a grayer color. With a wink her hair flashed a brighter azure as her icon formed a few inches under the valley between her breast. Then she finished with a seductive sway of her hips, the gray light wrapping around the curves of her waist. Cracking the back of her hands the light began to take a Lolita lace design before whizzing around her ready to block any incoming attacks. With a final burst of light RHyperHymn stood in Allegra’s place, smirking at the Large Body with a cocky undertone. Not many viruses could stand up to a CrossFusioned Official. But these were Heartless, they were many, they did not plan, they did not discriminate. Holding her arms back she thrusted both hands, a volley of five light energy blast searing from her hands and gaining distance at the Large Body in front of them. Jameson lowered his barrier and pressed forward into the new house. As the heartless soldiers rushed him he slammed the door closed. He took a brief moment to deadbolt it and lock it. It might last a short time but.. He had enough to worry with for now, what with all these OTHER monsters right in front of him within this house. Speaking of which.. He turned and threw a barrier up. The lasers fired at him from the new little glowing heartless bounced of the barrier. He grabbed his cell phone out of his pocket and snapped a picture for his records. After that bit of pointlessness was done he turned his attention in full to the challenge before him.A bolt tower, though he was unaware that was what it was called, was powering a computer that was flooding heartless into this world. Meanwhile these little punks were guarding it... So, classic Hyakuji Scenario 2b. Kill the problem to death. He formed his sword and moved forward dispelling his barrier. He used his power, ESP amp, to increase his speed and reflexes. He needed to quickly take down these little imps. Swinging both swords powerfully e was aiming to slash right into them.. |

Hooray for Frustration!
|
"Eugh....Seems I've stumbled somewhere bad." Ein said, shacking his head and clearing away the dizziness in his head before standing up right. "I hate fighting...." Ein muttered to himself before taking up a stance. He saw the Large Bodies coming at him....Not like they were exactly hard to spot. "I hate hurting others, but I hate you things SO much more!" Ein said before throwing off his cloak to the side and charging straight at the incoming Large Body. Due to his small size yet high speed, Ein closed the distance quickly....Before sliding under the Large Body's legs. As he slid, he quickly flipped the sword around, which gave yet another slight pulse before it began glowing a gold color. It became imbued with the power of Holy energy, or more broadly put, light. "Go down!" Ein cried before pushing himself up quickly with his spare arm and slashing upwards at the Large Body's back with the Einherjar. |

Follow me for madness and fun!!!!

Kiru sighed as he pointed at the forehead of a large body. He focused his ki into his finger and launched it towards the Large body's head aiming to blow its head off right at the start. He readied his body to jump out of the way should it come too close without dying. |

Great. More heartless. And mechanical looking ones to boot. this was going to be a pain. He unsheathed his sword, running in with Star, eyes glancing about. Star pointed towards tall ones, while she assaulted some other ones. He nodded at the girl, moving towards them with caution, before getting ready to make a swing. He pulled his arm back above his head, bringing it down at one of the Bolt Tower's heads, before the sword spontaneously seemed to become engulfed by light as it came down. Meglumar didn't notice this, however, and as soon as the vertical cut was made, he made another horizontal slash towards it again. He then noticed the sword, glowing white with blue lines, as if the sword was being amplified by...light. "My thanks for the help, Star. A good way to enhance my blade! You get better with your light every day." he said, unaware that the sword was being given light by him. Edited by Captain, Nov 28 2009, 01:26 AM.

Meteor On Ready?

"God, is there no end to these things!? Even if we kill them, they just come back with five more!" Taiga complained, her ZeroGasher sword cutting through another group of Shadows as she made her way towards the closest of the homes. After all, if that's where they were coming from, it would be the best place to hit! ...Except that the Heartless wouldn't allow their plan to be interrupted so easily. As Taiga went to swing at another swarm of Shadows, she caught sight of a much more massive Heartless bounding right for her, its ungainly arms swinging along and pushing aside other Heartless on its thundering route. For a few moments, she just froze, staring in shock at the massive black faceless beast as it beared down on her... "TAIGA!" With another loud battle cry, Taiga snapped out from her awe and closed the gap between her and the Large Body, leaping skyward to bring the ZeroGasher down on its head before it'd have a chance to retaliate! They couldn't be stopped here... the more firepower there was inside those infested homes, the sooner this invasion would end! ...she hoped, anyway. Even though neither she nor Ryuuji wanted to think about it, there was that nagging worst-case scenario in the back of their minds where cleaning the infested homes wouldn't be the end of it. For now, though, they had to keep their hopes up and just attack! |

The Middleman (stubborn, yet relaxed)
|
"Blast it, they must have backups inside." Kyra sniffed in distain, sensing a weird, abnormal power source that seemed to be charging the terminal. "Oh well, just need to adjust this a bit." Fan was replaced with Wind, the battlechips swapping out for practical reasons. "If I had used that chip, I might as well ask them to come to me." "DYNAMITE KICK!" Without looking in back of her, she snap-kicked the wall awhile reeling the foot backwards, possibly striking one of the Soldiers behind her in the face and sending it crashing through the swarms of Shadows behind it. The result of the kick shattered the feeble outer plastic covering as well as the planks of wood and the insulated cloth and cotton, tearing open a deep gash into the wall for her to enter without much difficulty. The Heartless Shadows inside, however, leapt at her and were dispatched quickly with her specialized WindBox Obstacle, a battlechip that blows her opponents away with a heavy, yet powerful burst of wind. Since all the Strafers were busy, she pushed the large obstacle forward to shove the Shadows away from her out of the room, awhile analyzing for heatprints and any form of life. It was clear that she was in one of the bedrooms, but was uncertain which one was holding the terminal.
"I'm in, Master. Has the lockdown proceeded?" She asked, swiping at another Soldier that attempted to take her from behind with her light-covered mallet, ready to smash it hard into the chest. "Just about, the electrical grid for most of the houses is down, and I am working on turning on the firewalls. I have also sent a automated truck filled with Starch canisters just in case to your location, should 'they' show up." SH said on the other line, fiercely working on coding to reactivate the firewalls around ACDC Network to seal down the terminals in the cyberworld. |

OOC: Fan, you are not an Underlord and you KNOW THAT >:( The "javelin" that was sent back would have trouble hitting Magne, as he stopped it in its tracks in mid-air. He noticed how many large round "dark monsters" appeared and how he just hit one. It looked rather angry and was heading towards Magne. Stopping it would be rather easy, the bigger they are the harder they fall. He doubted it was smart, just like the rest of these things. If they were smart, they wouldn't attack a place like ACDC were barely any destruction or damage would occur. They'd logically want to attack somewhere like Sci-Labs or possibly the Hospitable in Beach. "Now listen carefully you, I am not the enemy, we have the same motives and I think that I can help ALL OF YOU attack something that would cause MUCH more damage. Now... if we join forces... everything will get done MUCH faster. What do ya say?" Magne would lower the metal bar shaped as a javelin in front of him horizantally at his feet about 3 - 5~ feet away. This was to set up a trap if it came any closer to Magne; it would trip. Magne would also look at the elementary school with the locked gate. If he had eyebrows, he'd raise 'em. |

OoC: I'm not an UnderLord yet on EXERPG, but not all the UnderLords from EXERPG have come here (to my knowledge), and I have issued a challenge to one of the current UnderLords (I'm an UnderKnight). This is an alternate universe version of EXERPG, right? Well, in this version, my character has already reached the rank of UnderLord. ...and developed telekinetic powers. |

Ed comes out of the closet--specifically, the coatrack in House 3, where Karsus is at. He flinches and stumbles backward upon colliding with the walls of text that posts around here consist of--very much not used to such volume all at once--but rapidly recovers. Having met Fan Karsus once prior to the Heartless attack, Ed recognizes him as a friend, and makes the immediate decision to assume that's still an accurate assessment. "I just got here. You, ninjurai guy, please catch me up to speed. The enemies are who or what? Our allies in the immediate vicinity...? I should probably CrossFuse, shouldn't I?" Ed does that last thing, CrossFusing, before even waiting for a response. As a result, he shall henceforth be referred to as RGGGG until further notice. That is not a typo. It's an acronym, but I'm not telling what it stands for. Wait, posts here are NOT all comprised mostly of padding? YOU LIE! (I hope o.o) |
