Trust a hopeless otaku to instantly be able to find the local arcade in a strange town, even if he's disorientated as hell and had no idea what in the world was going on. After all, it had only taken him the better part of two hours wandering around this cobbled-together place to find it, probably due to the crazy amount of distracting things running around. But the crazy faux-Victorian buildings, the people fearfully shuffling through the street, the fact that he had absolutely no idea where he was, none of these things mattered. All of Saito Hiraga's attention was focused on the rifle in his hands, eyes staring down the scope with sadistic glee as his fingers rebounded off the trigger again and again, people dropping to the floor in droves. Sure, having Del propped up against the side of the machine touching his arm was probably cheating, but he needed to blow off steam, and shooting digital people was a pretty awesome way to do it, even if the rifle was plastic. |

Aisia still had her reservations about entering Nickle's arcade. After all, this was the very place where she realized that somehow, Gundams were nothing more than just a figment of some creative writer's imagination who just happened to peek into the universe of Legacy. Still, Nickle was a friend of hers, and she still had that card he gave her that allowed her to play Gundam Versus Gundam for free. Maybe it still worked here. So here she was trying to find her way to the Gundam Versus Gundam machines when she saw a familiar face squinting his face at the sights of a plastic rifle attached to one of the game machines. "... Saito-san!?" she gasped. She was still leery of meeting him; after all, she now remembered fighting him back then when she was still using the Epyon. |

"... Saito-san!?" came the suprised gasp from somewhere behind the swordsman, causing him to hit his elbow on the rifle's metal bracket with a resounding clang as he spun around. "<God damn it, ow!>" he said with a small grunt as he rubbed it furiously, the frown on his face growing into a smile as he turned to face the small platinum-haired girl behind him. "Hey, Aisia, what's up? Why the long face? I mean, you don't have to jump on me or anything, but I don't recall doing anything that bad." The machine beeped loud sounds of alarm as Saito bent over and slung Del back over his shoulder, tilting his head and smiling back at Aisia. It was good to see a friendly face.....no, anything recognisable in this odd place. |

Aisia looked at him with a mixture of relief and confusion. Did he really not remember what happened? After all, didn't he end up going back in time in L and at some point became her enemy? ... Or maybe this was a different Saito altogether? No... why would he remember me, if that was the case? Perhaps it was just one of those weird things that she'd never understand with regards to traveling through time and space. "Ah... it's not you, it's just... I remember having wronged you at some point before, and I guess that still weighs heavily on my mind," she said. "But... I'm really glad to see you here!" With that, she gave him a quick hug before stepping back at arm's length. "So, how did you end up here? I was afraid that it would be a long time before I saw you again when the world collapsed, but... you're here somehow!" |

"Don't be ridiculous, you're one of the nicest people I know!" Saito said with a confused but happy look on his face, dismissing her concerns with a wave of his hand. "But the world collapsing? Now that's news to me. Then again, it probably explain what the hell I'm doing here..." Scratching the back of his head, the swordsman started walking towards the benches just outside the arcade, gesturing for Aisia to follow with his other hand. The smooth metal and stone of the bench felt nice and cool as Saito leaned back against it, staring up at the odd buildings surrounding them and the way they seemed almost slap-dash in the way they were designed. "Well, if we're both here......have you heard from Ayane? Shiki? Selene? Anyone? They should be fine, right?" |

"We came across Selene on the way here..." Aisia said as she sat down. "We also found Nickle-san. He... lost his loved ones to the Darkness apparently. Oh! Otoha-chan has a new host, somehow. It's... complicated. As to everyone else... I haven't found them yet. Sorry." She... didn't want to mention to him what happened between her and Ayane recently in DiKiDo Land immediately after their mission in Shinya. It was too painful an experience to talk about, and it showed in her face, though Saito might misinterpret that as her being sad at not having found Ayane yet. "So, what are you doing now? Surely you can't just be playing games at the arcade at a time like this..." she asked. |

"......I see. Well, they should turn up sooner or later..." Saito sighed as he stared at the people walking by, all of them with the desperate yet hopeful demeanor that seemed to permeate the entire town. As long as he didn't have to look at Aisia's sad face, anything was fine. It killed him to see anyone he knew be so down, but to have it happen to the nicest person he knew was een worse. There was no need for him to make it worse though. "But so what if I was sitting around playing games? I've got no home, no job, no idea where I am, and the only person I've met so far that I know is you. It's not like I have a full calendar." he said with a smile, stretching his arms out in front of him with the fingers laced together, the satisfying crack as they loosened running down his arms. "Unless you have any better ideas, that is. I'm more than happy to hear 'em." |

Aisia chuckled. "Always talking like a smart-ass. Well, you've always been like that, it seems, but your straightforwardness has its good points. As a matter of fact, I do have an idea." She turned to him and straightened up on her seat. "You could come with us! We have... well, a train of sorts. It's called the DenLiner, a train that can supposedly travel through space and time. We have no idea how it really works, but it gets us places for now. You usually need a pass to get in, but I'm sure I can ask Eliza-sama to get you one or something. Oh, and Eliza-sama's my... well, my Mistress of sorts, since I'm her maid. Otoha-chan seems to like teasing me about that whenever she possesses her though, and it can get on my nerves at times. But otherwise, she's still the same. I met her after I escaped the collapse of Hyakuji and ended up in another dimension called Oasis, and that's where the train ended up." Aisia chuckled uneasily. "I... hope that's not too complicated. But long story short, we brought some allies with us back here; a beautiful elf girl named Lavender Smith and a strict but kind nurse named Nozomi Kimishima. They've decided to make a group known as Neo Arcadia, based on an old organization that apparently existed in Hyakuji without us knowing about it. Some of the other Hyakujians are there too. You could join that too!" While she sounded enthusiastic about the idea of him joining their motley crew, there was something else that bothered her. "Hey... Saito-san, do you remember ever using a Gundam called Exia?" After meeting Ayane, she was now wondering if somehow, Saito was also sent back in time as well, because she remembered fighting him - or at least, someone like him - back in Legacy before she went to Hyakuji. |

".......space travel? Man, I'm really getting sick of all these god damn different worlds. Just when I find something I like, s'gone." Saito said with a frown, barely noticing the small piece of steel sneaking over his shoulder from the folds of his hoodie. "Did you say a beautiful elf girl and a [clank]in' nurse!? I'm [clank]in' sold!" Del managed to clank out before being rudely shoved back into his sheath, belt tightened to make sure he couldn't get back out. "Frickin' idiot.......honestly. Anyway, yeah, I use Exia all the time at the arcade. S'how I always kick Ayane's ass." A look of concern flashed across the swordsman's face as he continued, not sure whether he should mention it. Then again, this was Aisia, and if anyone could make sense of it, it would be her. "Since I got here, I've been seeing.....things. Flashes, little snippets. Piloting a real Exia, some carrier ship called the Freeden, this weird cat-headed thing. I have no idea what the hell that was supposed to be. Ayane's there, some people called Nemu and Jun'ichi, and some guy who claims to be Shiki but looks nothing like him. I don't know what it is, but it's......it just puts me on edge, even though they're probably just some weird-ass dreams. Does that count?" "Heh, it's probably nothing to worry about, just too much video games and not enough sleep again. Sure, this train thing sounds like less of a drag than just hanging out here. Plus, I bet Del wants to hang out with Otoha again, right?" A muffled grunt of what was either approval or terror came from the lump of metal on his back, but Saito ignored it. |

Aisia gasped at Saito's descriptions of his "dreams". It sounded like a description of Legacy before she stole the Strike and fled to Hyakuji. But what she didn't understand was why they were dreams to him. Ayane seemed to really have been there, but Saito seemed more... disjointed. He was there, and yet it was as if he was looking through the eyes of another Saito from that universe. "... Saito-san, you've just made a very accurate description of the world that I came from," she whispered. "I don't know how, but..." She bit her lip. How could she explain this, after all? How could she tell him that she met him before she even got to Hyakuji? Well, it might as well be worth a try. "... Perhaps you can help me figure out what the hell is going on here," she said. With that, she told him everything about her time back in Legacy. How she was once one of the Inspectors, and how she tried to fight against her friends and someone who acted like a very retarded version of Ayane. Well, she seemed retarded enough until near the end, when she seemed to have sobered up and asked to be sent back. She also told him how she fought someone named Saito as well, a skilled pilot who used the Gundam Exia. It was weird - the fact that she met him again in Hyakuji the first time bothered her, but she kind of thought they were alternate versions of the people she knew and never really gave it much thought. But now that she thought about it, the ones she met in Legacy somehow knew who she was before she stole the Strike. ... "Arrrgh, this is so difficult to understand!" Aisia groaned as she pulled at her hair. Doing so did however reveal a healing bruise on her cheek - one that Ayane gave her back in DiKiDo Land. Edited by Pikachu_Fragger, Nov 13 2009, 07:58 AM.

"...no, it makes sense. Sounds like the kinda stuff we'd do, eh Del? Maybe it's my doppelgänger? The whole 'time/space' anomaly thing is kinda old hat as far as I'm concerned, so don't worry about it." Saito brushed off Aisia's confusion as to the whole 'Legacy' thing, being far more interested in the somewhat large bruise on the side of her face. "...That bruise, on your cheek...Who hit you?" A scowl creased his brows as he studied the angry swollen skin of her cheek, eyes narrowing as they took in the details. You didn't exactly become a soldier without a few cuts and bruises, and you learned to tell pretty quickly what caused them. "That's way too targeted to be an accident. So, who was it?" |

Aisia froze a bit at that when Saito saw the bruise. She knew that the two were constantly at odds, but if he found out that Ayane hit her... never mind the fact that Aisia neglected to tell him that she met her, Saito might be even more furious at the fact that she hit her. "... I got hit by a Heartless," she coolly lied as she covered her cheek with her curly strands of platinum hair. "Bastard got to me before I managed to transform." Aisia realized that this could also be a way to steer the conversation elsewhere. "Oh, speaking of transforming! Remember how I used to transform into a Mecha Musume? Well, Eliza-sama somehow managed to help fix it and turned it into a completely different system. Long story short, I now transform not into a Mecha Musume, but into a Kamen Rider, so I really look more like a smaller version of the Strike!" she said. "It's even stronger this time too, and, well, less embarrassing without the short skirts and all that." ... She realized too late that "less embarrassing" also meant "no wardrobe malfunctions" like the time she, Ayane, and Selene became the "Streak Rangers". Hopefully he wouldn't bring that up! Then again, it would keep Saito from asking too many questions about that bruise. |

"A Heartless, huh? Still haven't had the chance to try Del out on one of those yet, they always seem to scarper off. Maybe they're as sick of him as I am already?" A weak smile spread across Saito's face as Aisia brushed her hair to the side, shielding her cheek from further investigation. It didn't exactly feel like she was telling the truth from the way she brushed him off, but it wasn't as if he could accuse her straight off the bat of lying. So instead, he decided to latch onto the later part of her story. "You got rid of the skirts? Awww, I actually thought they were pretty cute. Oh well, at least it'll prevent another Streak Ranger incident, eh? Not that I'm complaining, of course." |

"... Please don't remind me," Aisia groaned. "I don't need to remember having paparazzi taking pictures of us naked like that." ... To be fair, they're all probably Heartless by now, so its not like that matters, she thought sadly. "And you really should be careful with what you say. Those skirts may be cute, but Louise-san might not appreciate you saying that when they're worn on other-" Aisia stopped herself. Considering what happened back in that dimension, she didn't want to accidentally reopen old wounds, even if they were just dreams of his. "Sorry," was all she said. There was an awkward silence between them that lasted a few moments before she spoke again. "Saito-san, you're not... mad at me, are you? For being evil back then, I mean... I know they're just dreams that you might be seeing through your doppelgänger, but for me, it was real. I've... done terrible things back then, after all..." |

Saito felt like he'd been sucker-punched in the stomach the second Aisia mentioned Louise's name. So, in this place......she's there? Damnit! Sure, it was only his doppelganger, but there wasn't much he wouldn't give just to see her face again to apologise for leaving, just to make her smile. He wouldn't have time to mope though, considering how profusely Aisia was apologising for the things she'd apparently done to him in this Legacy place. It didn't really make sense to him how the innocent platinum-haired girl in front of him could be evil in any way, shape or form, but he went along with it. "You, evil? Psh, don't make me laugh! Sure, you could've been mislead, or confused, or brainwashed, or...something, but deliberately evil? You don't have it in ya!" came the swordsman's cheery voice as he patted the top of Aisia's head gently, wide grin firmly set. "Trust me, it may take a special kind of person to avoid those kinds of things, but I have faith in you. If you'd done something like that, you wouldn't want to walk these streets so openly. It's not a nice feeling." |
