Character Name: Katerine Wolff
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 144 lbs
Description or Image of Character Appearance:

A beauty of a girl, her amber colored eyes matches somewhat with her dark-brown hair. Nature has endowed her with a rather average bust, but people has remarked she's beautiful in her own way. She is perfectly toned, her frame giving off an aura like she's able to run a marathon or punch someone out. This is mainly from her living most of her teenage life as part of several sports clubs, as well as being the 'test pilot' for the SMART BRAIN Kaixa Gear System, led her to have a rather compact frame meant for running and simple hand to hand combat.

Occupation: B.O.A.R.D. Field Agent
Grade Level: N/A
Alignment: Light
Powers/ Abilities:

  • Green Belt - MCMAP, Modified:
As the main 'test pilot' of the Kaixa Development Team, Katerine spent a few months at Marine Corps Base Quantico (the USMC being the program's main political/financial backer) and was taught a modified program, focusing mainly on punches, kicks, throws, and improvised weapon and weapon combat, and less on ground-fighting.

  • Firearms Proficiency:
While training to be the 'test pilot' of the Kaixa gear, she also underwent training to be proficient with a pistol and the IMI Uzi submachinegun, which the Kaixa Blaygun was based from. Due to the fact the USMC does not have any qualification for the SMG, she was sent to Ft. AP Hill and taught there, eventually gaining Expert with the pistol and submachine gun at the end of her training period.

  • SMART BRAIN 913M Magnum Sidearm:
Outside of Kaixa or Henshin'd, Katerine makes use of this 12.7x39mm Handgun. Large (around 10.5 inches long), it fires .50 Magnum FMJ rounds accurately as fast as Katerine can pull the trigger. Advanced mechanical systems and Katerine's training allows her to properly fire the weapon even without the improved strenght that Kaixa provides.

  • Kamen Rider Kaixa - 9 1 3 Enter:
Entering this code allows Katerine to turn into Kamen Rider Kaixa when she inserts the phone into the belt's phone slot. This provides increased strenght and speed, as well as adding a considerable defensive capability, as well as giving her limited night vision and a HUD via the helmet.

  • Kaixa Phone Blaster:
Opening the phone and then locking it in Gun form allows Katerine to make use of the Kaixa Phone Blaster. Pressing 1 0 3 or 1 0 6 ad then Enter allows her phone to fire in single shot and burst modes.

  • Kaixa Blaygun:
An energy submachine gun, pulling the charging handle back charges the gun, while a switch on the side dictates either single shot or burst mode. By placing the Kaixa Mission Memory into a slot on the underside of the gun, the Lightsaber portion of the weapon is released. Even when in this form, the gun form can still be used granted the user is still wielding it on the gun portion. Inverting the Blaygun will turn it into a standard two handed sword.

  • Xeno Clash [Restricted - Proven Safe]:
Kaixa's only tested, yet still restricted final attack. After placing the Kaixa Mission memory into a slot on the Blaygun (which forms the lightsaber portion), Katerine can execute the Xeno Clash attack. By pressing 'Enter' on the phone that sends a burst of energy to the Blaygun, Katerine pulls the charging handle. A constricting energy net is then fired from its gun section, while simultaneously over-charging the sword section and temporarily increasing Kaixa's speed for a dashing strike. Even if it was deemed safe, Katerine has not used it until it the rest of her overdrive attacks were proven safe.

  • Gold Smash [Restricted - Proven Unsafe For Now]:
By placing the Kaixa Mission Memory into the Kaixa Pointer then mounting on her right power anklet, Katerine can perform the Gold Smash attack after pressing "Enter" on the phone, which sends a burst of energy to the Pointer. After that, a blast of energy impacts her target, forming into a cone, in which Kaixa attacks by dropkicking through the cone with both feet.

  • Grand Impact [Restricted - Never Been Tested]:
By Placing the Kaixa Mission Memory into the Kaixa Shot and turning it into an armored fist, Katerine can perform the Grand Impact attack by pressing "Enter" on the phone. This sends a burst of energy to the Shot, which is then held in place by Katerine, until she makes contact with the target, releasing a switch which then releases the stored energy from the Shot.

Equipment You Have:

  • Kaixa Gear:
The Kaixa Gear is a collection of seemingly normal items developed by the Smart Brain corporation based the Kaixa Mission Memory. A small metallic card key with the Kaixa symbol on it, the Mission Memory can be inserted into certain Kaixa Gear, turning the item into a powerful weapon. The Kaixa gear was built originally as a response from the United States government as a proof-of-concept set of power armor for their special operations personnel, namely for specialized United States Marine Corps teams, meant for non-humanoid threats. While not providing the same amount of speed as the original (Faiz), Kaixa has increased functionality as well as strenght. The belt and gear would often be placed in a secure B.O.A.R.D. suitcase, while the phone would always be on Katerine's person.

    • SB-913M Magnum Sidearm:

      • An large and robust sidearm, an offshoot of the Kaixa Development, it fires 12.7x39mm FMJ rounds and comes with Kaixa-specific upgrades. It was initially part of the running to replace the Beretta M9 pistol in the United States, and as such, numerous mechanical advancements by SMART BRAIN, Inc. - US Branch's Robert McLees led to the creation of a handgun capable of firing a .50 Magnum round with the same felt recoil of a .45 ACP+P.

This specific model was built specifically for the Kaixa project, with the Kaixa belt having a place for the holster, and seen as a last ditch weapon in the case the user de-Henshins and/or losing the Kaixa Blaygun. It features a robust and sturdy action, as well as a very durable integrated sound suppressor and compensator, and when linked to the Kaixa helmet's X-Finder feature, can basically smart-link with the helmet and provide a targeting reticule that allows the user to 'fire from the hip' or not aim down the sights.

The weapon was made by Misrah Armory, an independent company that was bought by SMART BRAIN, Inc. and turned into their Traditional Weapons Development Division. This is an upsized version of the SMART BRAIN M6C/S firearm, which is chambered in .45ACP and 9mm, and one created specifically for the Kaixa Development Team is called the 913M. (10.5in o/a lenght úpsized' compared to 9in o/a lenght 'standard')

    • Kaixa Driver:
      • The Kaixa Driver, designated "SB-913B" is a transformation device was developed by SMART BRAIN to transform the user to Kamen Rider Kaixa. The Kaixa Driver was designed for specific compatibility with the Kaixa Phone, generating the photon streams that form the Kaixa Armor when the Mission Memory is installed into the phone. If the belt is removed, the armor dissolves.

    • Kaixa Phone:
      • The Kaixa Phone, designated "SB-913P" is a sideflip "swing" cellphone device is the control unit of the Kaixa Gear, the primary storage place for a Mission Memory as transgenerator that powers the Kaixa Gear. When the phone is transformed into Phone Blaster Mode, it can be used for long range attacks with the Kaixa Pointer used to boost its abilities.
        Codes
        • 9-1-3 Enter: This code allows for the user to become Kaixa
        • 1-0-3 Enter: This code allows for Kaixa to convert the Kaixa Phone is turned into Phone Blaster and fire a continuous beam of Photon Energy for about 3 seconds. It has 12 shots until it must be recharged.
        • 1-0-6 Enter: This code allows for Kaixa to convert the Kaixa Phone is turned into Phone Blaster and fire 3 round bursts of Photon Energy. It has 4 bursts until it must be recharged.
        • 2-7-9 Enter: This code allows for Kaixa to give the Phone Blaster a five second recharge.
        • Enter: This code allows for Kaixa to execute a "EXCEED CHARGE" attack depending on the item he inserted the Mission Memory into, sending a burst of power from the Kaixa Driver, along the Photon Streams, to the weapon in question giving it a tremendous power boost, and in some cases extra abilities.

    • Kaixa Shot:
      • Designated "SB-913C", this digital camera-like device was developed by Smart brain as an added boost to Kaixa's punching attacks. The Kaixa Shot was designed for specific compatibility with Kaixa Mission Memory, transforming into an energy powered knuckle-duster that Kaixa can use her Grand Impact punch attack. It is currently locked away.

    • Kaixa Pointer:
      • Designated "SB-913B2", these binoculars were developed by Smart brain as an added boost to Kaixa's kicking attacks. The Kaixa Pointer was designed for specific compatibility with Kaixa Mission Memory, attached to the Power Anklet for Kaixa execute her Rider Kick called the Gold Smash, producing a yellow energy drill around her foot while executing the deathblow.

    • Kaixa Blaygun:
      • Designated "SB-913X", the Blaygun is a special weapon that is both a select fire photon SMG and a lightsaber. By default, it is in the shape of the Greek letter Chi "Χ", or an upside down "4". By inserting the Kaixa Mission Memory, a blade made of Sol Glass is extended from the bottom of the gun grip. This form may still utilize the SMG part of the weapon if the blade is held by the gun grip, though the weapon can be reversed to be used as a standard 2-handed sword. It can be used in the Xeno Clash attack, where a constricting energy net is fired from its gun section, while simultaneously over-charging the sword section and temporarily increasing Kaixa's speed for a dashing strike. It is important to notice that the blade of the Kaixa Blaygun does not cause damage by itself, but due to the energy that it discharges once in contact with the target.

  • Hayes Diversified Technologies, Inc. M1030-M2 Motorcycle, B.O.A.R.D. Variant:
    • While not being an transforming battle robot like Faiz's Auto-Vajin, it nevertheless is just as useful. B.O.A.R.D. took the standard HDTI vehicle, and gave it a simplified Undead Tracker, as well as attachment compartments for items such as common blanks, Katerine's Kaixa Gear, and a hidden holster in a compartment on the right side of the bike for the SMART BRAIN, Inc. 913M Magnum Sidearm. It is Black with Gold trim, and she uses this one mainly for everyday commute. But she is known to also use this in her line of work.
      [HDTI M1030-M2]

  • SB-913V Side Basshar :
The SB-913V Side Basshar (サイドバッシャー, Saido Basshā?) is Kaixa's support mecha, and can transform into either a sidecar-type motorcycle (Vehicle Mode) or a bipedal walker-type battle Mech (Battle Mode). Neither form offers any significant protection to the driver.

Like the Autovajin, the Side Basshar also has limited A.I. and is programmed to help and protect the user of the Kaixa Gear. On a side note, Side Basshar's A.I. seems less advanced than Autovajin's, as rare are the occasions where it is seen acting on its own.

The main form of the Side Basher is a sidecar-attached motorcycle as the name suggest. It rarely leaves this form during both the series and the movie. In this form, it can travel through rough terrain safely and its light can shine up to 50 meters ahead and make the road as clear as if is under the daylight. The side car can be detached from the motorcycle and move on its own. The tires are made of Sol Rubber (a stronger version of Sol Foam) and the main chassis and plating are made from a similar substance to that of the Kamen Rider Gears.

While saying "BATTLE MODE", the Side Bashar transforms into a walker-type battle Mech. The sidecar becomes the unit's legs, while the vehicle's wheels transform into arm-like appendages. The fork becomes the right arm; sporting the four-barreled Photon Vulcan, and the double pincered Heat Point capable of generating temperatures up to 2000°C during grappling attacks. The Swingarm becomes the left arm with the exhaust pipes becoming the X-zap Buster that can fire 6 Smart Brain multistage sidewinder mini-missiles, that in turn split into a further 8 micro-missiles (48 in total) with a range of 2400 meters. Despite the transformation of the forks, the handlebars remain connected to the main frame and become the mech's main controls.

Though surprisingly fast and mobile for a machine of its size and shape (it is seen jumping up onto a motorway overpass and leaping over an incoming missile barrage), the Side Bashar lacks maneuverability in Battle Mode. It has difficulty tracking more agile targets, and can only attack targets that are in front of it.

Katerine rarely uses this bike, preferring instead her normal bike. Makes no difference, as another M1030-M2 was the basis for the Side Basshar, and only uses it if she needs the added fire support. Ironic, considering she already has enough dakka. But then...the more dakka, the merrier.

Personality Description:
Katerine is somewhat introverted. Her upbringing as well as her initial job led her to only share her interests with other members of the Kaixa Development Team. She is, more open though now and outgoing. She's more reserved, but if someone does piss her off, she charges ahead with methodical craziness, looking ahead and making the person hell. But normally no one has truly done that. She has her little quirks, such as obsessing over some small thing or another, or proclaiming her love for the newest trend. She acts boyish at times, and had it not been for her figure, would've been mistaken for a rather effeminate male. One well known quirk she has is her often boisterous talk of rain and how much she loved it.

Personal History:

Katerine Wolff was a happy child. No doubt about it, bubbly, kinda headstrong, and trusting. She lived with her father in Virginia's branch of SMART BRAIN, Inc., before moving to Japan on her 10th Birthday due to her father getting a transfer. In time, she became an informal member of the development team her father was on, helping the team iron out kinks by offering some simple, common sense and non-technical 'advice'. It was that outside observation into her father's work that allowed him to explain to her his project, and that let him raise errors he and his team found just because they were focusing too intently on the an aspect of of the project.

This usually did not guarantee she was smart and a child prodigy, she was basically the 'tester' who was the 'idiot standard'. She was an average kid, picking up Japanese a bit slowly but by the time she started High School, can hold a good conversation, although not talking in the same speed as native speakers.

At age 17, she took up a job offer in her father's work, becoming essentially a tester for the Kaixa gear her father had been working on due to her familiarity with it. Apparently the design team had been working on the notes and templates of a previous gear by a man named Leo Emmerich, and when he left, he also took the rather expensive prototype which was built specifically for him away. Some time after that, with Leo gone, SMART BRAIN recieved funding to restart the program, and while they got most of the gear ready, there were things that still needed to undergo exhaustive testing.

One of these would be the Kaixa Pointer, Katerine, now 19, tried to jump attack a simple target, but upon entering the cone of light to attack, something went wrong as she made contact with the cone, and when she entered the cone, she disappeared.

She landed her jump in the middle of a large, unfamiliar executive building. The gear then malfunction, ejecting the pointer from her power anklet and the belt dehensining her. As her brain wrapped around what just had happened, she saw herself staring face to face with Leo Emmerich...which would've not been awkward if she wasn't wearing her test clothing, essentially a black, form-fitting jumpsuit.

In the month the followed, she explained what had been going on in the other world while she was briefed on what this world was. While she can go back to her world, she agreed with Leo that she was going to stay with BOARD for the time being, while also not going to mess with any untested equipment she managed to bring over to this world until Leo had a chance to run tests to see if everything was working properly. As a precaution, while her Blaygun and Phone were completely ok, he and Katerine both agreed performing the Xeno Clash attack is not worth it, even if it was done correctly before, who knows what the dimensional shift must've done to the attack.
