Occupation: Dimensional Drifter/BOARD Kamen Rider Faiz
Grade Level: Freshman
Alignment: Dark
Equipment You Have:

  • Cell phones/Laptop. Originally used as communication relays between herself and AEGIS, the loss of the entire AEGIS network thanks to the efforts of the Heartless make them but normal electronics. The laptop can still detect paranormal frequencies within a short range, but without the AEGIS network to supply power, the phones are no longer able to create Imitation Gates.
  • Faiz Gear [Incomplete]. As the Strike Ranger equipment built by Shiki Mizuno was lost after being flung to the world of Legacy, upon returning to this dimension, Ayane found herself back to square one, without any form of powered armor. Fortunately, this new world had a man named Leo Emmerich, who just happened to specialize in the very type of equipment she now found herself without. Though he had no equipment to spare her, she was given Leo's very first belt, the Faiz Gear, which was the basis for all of his current developments. It had been damaged somehow a long time ago, but at least the belt and phone functioned properly, allowing her at least the ability to transform. Assuming Ayane was a good fit for the old belt, repairs on the remaining pieces of gear would proceed at a future time.
  • M-Phone. While she has no clue what it does, this odd phone was the only item to survive interdimensional displacement, apparently mingling in with the rest of her cell phones.
  • AutoVajin. While Ayane doesn't care for vehicles, the AutoVajin is the motorcycle she was granted as a Rider for BOARD. While her dislike for vehicles (especially motorcycles, as they offer little by way of defending you from the outside world) would normally have her not using such a thing, this particular motorcycle transforms into a bipedal robot and also stores the Faiz Edge, her personal sword. Combine that with the fact that its AI allows the bike to effectively drive itself and she doesn't mind having it around at all. Though its penchant for taking independent action occasionally acts up...

Powers/ Abilities:

  • Gate of Gale. Ayane has the ability to "open a gate," which means that she can use wind-elemental magic from another dimension. However, she detests using this ability and will avoid using it unless absolutely necessary. In addition to her personal distaste of the ability, its use will slowly but surely rob her of her body. Extreme use will eventually kill her completely.
  • Gate Full Open. This is an extension of Ayane's Gate ability, but one which will bring every ounce of energy her body can handle into being for one strike. Rather than the relatively small gate created when she uses her normal ability, this one is much larger and more powerful. However, due to its very nature she can't afford to use it even in the most extreme of extreme situations. Its use would greatly reduce the amount of life she has left, and in its unpredictability could very well finish her off the very first time she opens it. Still... if the world were in imminent danger and she was the last line in the sand...
  • Minus Gate - Gate of Void. Another extension of Ayane's Gate Keeper nature. Though she knows of its potential existence, it is not available to her nor is it a power she seeks to create. It is merely a possible outcome of her Gate powers. If her mind were turned to pure rage, if she were placed on a stage against the world, if she felt that humanity no longer had any use for her... and if she desired to use her Gate to cleanse the world of everyone, it is possible that her Gate of Gale would convert to its negative form, the Gate of Void. Unlike the widespread destructive potential of the Gate of Gale, the Gate of Void works much more efficiently to remove her target from the space it occupies. Or, more accurately, it removes the space they occupy. Not a whole lot of beings out there which would survive that...

  • STANDING BY...COMPLETE. By inputting '555' and pressing 'Enter' on the Faiz Phone, Ayane can activate the Faiz Gear, which allows her to insert the Phone into the Belt and transform into Kamen Rider Faiz. Her transformed state boosts her strength significantly, allowing her to take and dish out much more than she would be able to normally.
  • Faiz Phone Blaster. Even when not transformed, inputting '103' or '106' into the Faiz Phone and pressing 'Enter' will switch the Phone into Single or Burst modes, respectively. The Phone's top half pivots to form a gun, which is able to fire single or a burst of energy shots depending on mode, up to 12 shots each. Once out of energy, it can be recharged by pressing '279' then 'Enter'.
  • Crimson Smash. Moving the Faiz Mission Memory chip from the Faiz Phone to the Faiz Pointer enables the Pointer to be used as a device for executing Faiz's Rider Kick, the Crimson Smash. Ayane places the Pointer onto her right leg, pressing 'Enter' on the Faiz Phone to send a burst of energy from the Phone into the Pointer. She then leaps into the air, firing a blast from the Pointer that locks onto her target and causes her to kick instantaneously through them. Performing this technique while in Accel Form allows her to either perform kicks from multiple angles on the same target, or one kick to multiple opponents as the Accel Crimson Smash.
  • Grand Impact. Moving the Faiz Mission Memory chip from the Faiz Phone to the Faiz Shot enables the Shot to be used as a device for executing Faiz's Rider Punch, the Grand Impact. Pressing 'Enter' on the Phone to send a burst of energy into the Shot, Ayane grips it over her knuckle and holds the activation switch to overcharge it. Once her punch makes contact with her target, she releases the switch, sending all of that energy into the target. Using this technique while in Accel Form allows her to either punch the same opponent multiple times, or punch multiple opponents one after another as the Accel Grand Impact.
  • Sparkle Cut. Placing the Faiz Mission Memory into the handle of the motorcycle AutoVajin activates the Faiz Edge, Faiz's personal sword. Pressing 'Enter' on the Phone overcharges the blade into something like a light sword, capable of slashing through opponents with ease. Using this technique while in Accel Form allows her to slash the same opponent multiple times, or slash through multiple opponents as the Accel Sparkle Cut.
  • START UP. With the Accel Watch equipped, moving the Faiz Accel Memory from the Accel Watch to the Faiz Phone alters the Faiz armor into Accel Form. In this form, pressing the red button on the Accel Watch begins a 10-second countdown, during which Ayane can move at near-relativistic speeds. Perhaps fortunately for her, those are ten real-world seconds, which last much longer in her altered time-state. This also frees up the Faiz Mission Memory for performing ultimate attacks.

Personality Description: Ayane is introverted, keeping to herself as much as possible despite being in a city surrounded by people. She will usually answer if talked to but makes no effort to make friends. Many people would consider her completely self-centered and freaky, but she doesn't care about her image either. While she would never admit it, Ayane has a proud streak a mile wide, and does enjoy getting praised for accomplishing something others would consider even mildly difficult. There is also something darker within her, an anger that burns behind her eyes when she is alone with her thoughts, but it's something she refuses to speak about if anyone were to ask.

Personal History:

Ayane had a bit of a troubled childhood. Well, you could call it that, or you could call it par for the course when it comes to a father who up and disappears at the ripe age of five, and a mother who's too busy crying about it to help out. Since she had no support from parents, Ayane became a self-reliant child, earning good grades, doing her own chores, even making her own food. As she grew older, she decided that she no longer really needed parents anyway. Especially fathers, who were especially useless. Perhaps it was thanks to having no role models that Ayane also grew to thrive on praise. Her good grades were much less a willingness to succeed, and much more a way to be praised by her teachers. Not only that, of course, but also that she had learned about being able to go to a private high school if her grades were good enough. A private school with elite students, and best of all, no more living at home? Ayane Isuzu was inspired.

Now, that's not to say that she grew up completely without support. When Ayane had about reached age 12, she was approached by a man who claimed to be related to her parents and had something he wanted to give to her. Now, under any normal circumstances, the "don't take candy from strangers" memory would kick into gear here, but she'd never been taught that. Fortunately, this particular stranger was much less interested in her undeveloped body and much more interested in making use of her family lineage. Ayane discovered that her bloodline contained the genes of "Gate Keepers," or humans with a supernatural ability to access powers beyond others' reach. She, too, was one of these Gate Keepers, and possessed the same gate as her father; the Gate of Wind. Mentioning the fact that she had gained the ability from her father was probably a bad idea, though, since from that point on she absolutely refused to make use of her powers. However, since her combat and reasoning skills were well above-average--and since AEGIS was practically a one-man crew at this point--it was decided that she be given new toys to play with. Ayane was supplied with a cell phone program which would connect to the AEGIS network and access a system of "Imitation Gates," or gate-like power sent over the air. With these Imitation Gates, Ayane would be able to carry out her role as an agent of AEGIS without necessitating the use of her own, personal gate.

One would think that learning about supernatural powers and aliens would turn Ayane around and make her energetic, but instead, she just became more introverted around others. She would attend class and answer anything asked of her to the best of her ability, but she spent more time researching Invaders (apparently some sort of alien) and Gates than making friends. As far as she was concerned, her peers were nothing. Scum of the Earth, right along with the planet itself. Learning the truth of the world tends to mellow things out for a person, it would appear. And now, Ayane Isuzu is 16 years old. She is a self-serving, introverted girl with supernatural powers and crazy electronic toys. And it's her first year of High School, attending a school known for its... odd community.

Previous Season Summary:

Since arriving at Hyakuji, Ayane has caused... chaos. On her first day of school, she blew up her homeroom in frustration and then was nearly erupted by her teacher Hiro Tsukasa, who then ended up being her first period teacher as well. She met Hinata Kagura, who despite constantly ruining any chance of making a good impression on Ayane managed to stay on the girl's good side. She experienced a strange battle against mysterious beings and something called 'Arcadia', and was dragged on a beach trip. The beach trip, while filled with embarrassing moments featuring less clothing than she was comfortable with, wrought one very important turning point in her life.

The advent of Aisia Asakura.

Who, to be fair, she nearly fried to a crisp in their first meeting. This girl who travelled dimensions was strangely attractive to Ayane, perhaps pulling at her curiosity about interdimensional travel, or her interest in Gundams. Whatever it was, Ayane felt close to Aisia even though they'd only just met. Upon returning to Hyakuji after the beach trip, she found to her surprise that Aisia had taken up residence as her roommate and had the same strange power Hinata had to pull her strings. Through a rather embarrassing event very soon after she also met Shiki Mizuno, and was introduced to the Strike Gundam in all its glory. And through another Shiki-related event, ended up confessing to Aisia, which while it was filled with an emotional rollercoaster of craziness, did work out. Much to the chagrin of their next-door neighbor, Ayane and Aisia became more than just mere roommates or friends--they were lovers.

Her one 'social' obsession, if you could call it that, was playing the Gundam arcade game in Majikku Mall. I guess it would be social, considering through the game she also met Saito Hiraga, who would be a thorn in her side from that point on. His extreme self-confidence would repeatedly trip her up, though she tries hard to seem like she doesn't care about his chides. On the other hand, she does acknowledge him as a worthy opponent, and in that, perhaps even a friend.

For Halloween she was once more dragged along by Aisia, convinced to attend the Hyakuji Halloween Party. Though she snuck in out of costume, she ended up dressing as Setsuna F Seiei from Gundam 00. This would turn out to be something she regretted, for that Halloween Party would end up turning its attendees into whatever they attended as. So for a brief time, her consciousness was replaced with that of a Gundam Meister, who worked alongside Saito--who had been changed into a SD Gundam Exia--to save Hyakuji from the Robot Masters. Most of her memories of it are fuzzy.

She's had her body exposed repeatedly to strangers, blew up bits of the school, dragged into a battle against Dark Brain, made into a Mecha Musume Ranger, fought to save Hyakuji from Mu, and got fired from AEGIS for a month. It wouldn't be a stretch to say she's been through the wringer, but she doesn't mind all that once she goes to bed each night. After all, the one she loves is always there. How will she handle the future, though? What trials and tribulations await her down the road? WILL SAITO AND SHIKI EVER LEAVE HER ALONE!?

Find out next time on SHIN HYAKUJI HIGH SCHOOL!

Pre-Current Season Summary:

As it turned out, there was no next time. In an instant, everything Ayane Isuzu knew was erased, replaced inexplicably with a world known as the Universal Century. Not only was she displaced in dimensions, but upon her head was--unbeknownst to her--a fragment of Otoha, her headband. This headband had a rather interesting side-effect, causing her personality to shift completely into something closer to her father, Shun Ukiya. She even announced herself with her father's last name, leading everyone she met on mind-numbingly reckless adventures through the mysterious world of giant mecha. Aside from not being able to remember much about why she was there or how, none of it really seemed that strange to her, either. She continued to live day-by-day in the Universal Century, sure that this was her place in life. Hotblood in one hand, Gundam in the other. Savin' the day.

That is, until the headband, with the same abruptness that brought Ayane to that world, vanished, causing her personality to suddenly return to normal, retaining every memory of all the completely out-of-character and disgusting things she'd done. Rather than blame the headband (as she still wasn't aware that it was the cause), she seethed to the core at the world she was in. She wanted to destroy it for everything it had made her do. Rather than carry out that will, however, she caught wind about what had caused the initial dimensional displacement. Apparently, Hyakuji had been destroyed by something called 'The Heartless', and her being teleported to safety in this crazy universe was a by-product of that event. Her rage quickly shifted directions, her desire to return to destroy them overwhelming. The only problem was, how would she get back?

Ayane wouldn't have to look far. Though it was not the same girl she'd fallen in love with moons ago, there was an Aisia Asakura by her side. A girl capable of the very sort of dimensional travel she needed. Using one final favor, she had that girl send her back... back to the lost world, the universe now belonging to the Heartless. What she'd find there was a world built from fragments, all very different and yet converging upon one another like ten jigsaw puzzles all smashed together and made to fit. The state of the world mattered little; she wasn't expecting it to be anything but destroyed. AEGIS was gone. Her family was gone. Her friends were gone. Aisia was gone. She had escaped the horrible disgrace that was the UC, but had arrived in a world she had no ties to. There was only one, single reason for her existence now.

She would erase the Heartless as viciously as possible. To this end she would do anything; she would join corporations based solely on their transforming armor technology. She would work under them enough to gain their trust, doing any job as long as it meant making their power hers.

For the power to erase them... she would even sell her heart to the Darkness so that she might walk the very same path they did. After all, how does the saying go?

Keep your friends close, but your mortal enemies beside your heart?

Mashed Potatoes?
The proof is in the pudding, and if you want to find it, I hear some guy named Owner hoarded it all.
