More than a Ghost on a Shipwreck
Evan quickly entered the room because it looked like class had already begun, so that was something that was a little new to him. The whole idea of being late was not a fun idea, and he was afraid of what the teacher might be like, and what being late might mean. Evan simple opened the door and looked up at the teacher, who already seem to hate him...for not following the rules lets say.

"Hey," he said, "the name is Evan, and I'm a tad bit late." He took out his notepad and sat down at a desk. This was such a great way to start off the day. He simply looked down at his desk for a moment and waited for the class to start with him, and not just without him.

He was more of man who enjoyed life to be legato and fortissimo, yet it was starting out to be a rather sticcato and pianissimo kinda day. Hopefully it would get louder, and in a good way.

OOC: Sorry, I missed your little note, I'm used to just entering a class room and not being late ya know?^^ Reposting it all now.

Brian looked at the student, Evan, who had just entered through the door, then at the list of students that are supposed to be here (not the one that was passed around earlier. This one's more of a cheat sheet).

"Evan....Krenchitz, I presume? Just find a seat and be ready to take notes, because I'm moving on" He quickly marked the new student as "LATE" and continued his lecture.

OOC: For the love of God, just pretend I was here the whole time. If I don't RP soon I think I'm gonna die X_x.

Zeke sat up straighter as the topic of alternative rock music came into light. Again, since taking after Ky, Zeke remembered what certain music types sounded like, but he didn't know any particulars about them.

"Did he have this class too?..." he asked himself, giving the room a quick glance. He had his eyewear off, but this wasn't really the time anyway. He remembered he was here to learn.

That being said, he really had no idea what the teacher was even REFERRING to when he said they were to learn about alternative rock. Zeke knew what an alternative was, what a rock was, and what music was, but he couldn't put the former nouns together cohesively. Sighing, frustrated at his lack of understanding, he decided to raise his hand.

"Sir? What does...erm...what does Rem, what does Rem sound like? Instrument wise? Do they sing?"

He wasn't exactly shy for doing that, but something, a sort of tugging feeling, made him want to resume his seat. He lowered himself a little, waiting for the reply.

"Sir? What does...erm...what does Rem, what does Rem sound like? Instrument wise? Do they sing?"

Brian paused for a bit and began to answer the student's question.

"Well....R.E.M. Give me a sec guys, lemme show you something."

Brian quickly took out his iPod and extracted a double-ended 3.5mm audio cable from his audio kit in his bag. One end hooked up to the iPod, while the other one went into a free input jack in the podium. This bank of A/V jacks were connected to the approprate A/V equipment in the room. In the case of audio, that went to speakers strategically placed throughout the room, the same ones that were projecting his voice just moments ago, through the supplied wireless earpiece. He then ran through the menus in his iPod until he found the track he needed.

R.E.M. - Losing My Religion

"This....is R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion", off their "Out of Time" album released back in early 1991. This is one of their most well-known works, partly because at the time, it seemed unconventional for them to pick such a song to release as this album's single.

After around 2 minutes in, Brian slowly lowered the iPod's volume until it was muted, then stopped play. He could now resume his lesson with that question out of the way.
