"We only have white chocolate."
|
(( OOC: I actually didn't remember that there was an actual Maid cafe when I said that my character cross-dressed at such an establishment as a part-time job. So! I hope it's ok that Aaron just...ah, works here? If it's a problem, I'll retcon it, but for now I'll try and make this as reasonable as possible. )) Aaron huffed as he blew an exceptionally long strand of blonde hair out of his eyes. Having been required to wear a specific uniform, he had to quickly adjust to wearing the maid's outfit. His entailed a rather short, billowy white dress with a rich blue trim. His apron was also a delicate, lacy material that came to tie itself into a bow on the back. The sleeves were long, and ended in a flourish that were also a light blue that covered his hands. Truthfully, the only revealing aspect of the uniform were the stockings that covered Aaron's thighs with the matching garter-belt. The sleeves took care of his toned arms which didn't reveal how masculine they were, and the top of his uniform was tied loosely so it gave the appearance of a small chest. Thus, only his strong legs remained of the boy that was underneath, but even those were somewhat feminine due to the grace and accuracy in which he walked. He huffed again, delicately balancing a few plates and cups in one hand as he smiled pleasantly at a group near one of his tables. With a small curtsy, he took their order and walked as carefully as he could in his shiny blue mary-jane shoes. Carrying the plates back to the counter, he gave the table's order to those working behind the counter and quickly scanned the room. It seemed like all of his customers were content for the time being, and so he made his way back to the front where he would greet any new guests. Blinking, he fought the urge not to rub where he had any make-up on his face, and he bit his lip. He hoped this job would prove to be entertaining. |

"Maid... Cafe..?" Asmodeus said, rubbing his chin in confusion. He'd never heard of such a thing until he had started reading manga in secret. O far he knew this, ion Japan fetishes could be called 'moe' and mangas appealed to this. As weird as it was in the end this cafe was just a fetishist place. Even so if the food was good then who was he to complain? Besides, the girls might be pretty attractive, and who could complain about that..? Still, as he entered he found the usual mix of otaku dorks which made him cringe a bit. Did he qualify as an otaku just by coming to this place? He HAD started reading manga.. But not stupid action manga and no anime and he wasn't obsessed with it. Besides, he didn't come to places like this and gawk like an idiot. Feh, like it even mattered if he was or wasn't. He played sports and got out of the house every once in a while and it WASN'T just to come to places like these! So clearly he was no Otaku! Probably.. |

Aaron shifted from one glossy shoe to another, waiting for a new customer to enter the cafe. He had checked on his customers repeatedly, but they all seemed content to just sit and linger at their tables for the time being. Turning his head back once more, he twiddled his fingers as he began to play with the lace on his sleeves. A few more minutes had passed, and he had almost lost hope that another customer would enter when his eyes caught a somewhat familiar figure. His lips quirked up in a bright smile as he watched the boy linger for a while, almost as if he was contemplating entering or not. Aaron nearly bounced up and down in excitement, hoping he would enter soon. When he did, he nearly danced and hoped the boy wouldn't recognize him right away. After all, where would the fun in that be? And if Aaron didn't mind saying so, he did look pretty cute today for a boy in a dress. "Hello, sir." Aaron walked right up to Deus and gently hooked his arm around his, "Is this your first time?" |

"I want a chocolate bar for dinner."
|
It was then that another boy stumbled into this strange new place. He had never been to a maid cafe before, and found himself just a bit curious about the whole experience. Plus, he couldn't deny the boyish side of him that longed to see some pretty women in cute outfits. He had to say, that was one of his weaknesses. Upon entering, however, he was met with a stranger sight than the one he was prepared for. A boy stood in the doorway, and helping him along seemed to be... that kid from before! Casey wasn't sure if the boy knew that the 'girl' in the dress had some extra equipment. Casey almost giggled. And then it struck him as odd. And then he wondered why the whole thing hadn't struck him as odd before he giggled about it. He made a confused face for a split second, before stepping forward to slightly intervene. "Um, excuse me, miss." He had to control the laughter so it came out as an 'ahem', "Do you mind if I share a booth with him?" And then he looked at Asmodeus, a friendly grin on his face, "It's no fun eating alone, even if you're only grabbing a quick bite. I'm Casey." He held out a hand for the other boy to take. |

"I'm fine." He said dismissively to the pushy maid person that greeted him. "Besides, isn't the greetings supposed to be "welcome back, master." Not just some simple hello." He said tilting his head a bit as he eyed the room. Not even looking at the person in question. He mostly found people in their entirety to be very annoying and so it was his goal in life to slide past life's obstacles without dealing with them where possible. It was a terrible plan. But it was his plan. He was about to move past when some high spirited tall boy invited himself to eat with Deus. Well, that was certainly annoying. He ignored the hand offered to him. He didn't ignore it outright, he looked down, saw it, and turned his head away never moving towards it. It was very rude, but then Asmodeus was a rude guy. He didn't like people, so it wasn't shocking that he was the type that was a bit anti-social. "Do whatever you want." He said this in an icy voice as he walked towards a table. And that so because even if he sat with Deus he'd find the distance between them was as vast as the divide of a canyon. |

Aaron smiled smugly to himself, but covered it in a pleasant smile. "You seem to be very knowledgeable about such matters, Master." The blonde whispered Master in what he knew was an enticing, breathy way. Just for funsies. Nodding to the other boy and sharing a knowing smile with him, he led the two over to a nearby table for two. "Should I be punished while you teach me how to greet you, Master?" Aaron bowed his head, and let his hair cover his face. "It seems that I may need a teacher." |

A slight blush crept upon Casey's face as he realized that this boy in drag was addressing them as 'master'. He hadn't realized that that was what kind of place this was. It was... like the maidboy had jumped out of an anime and into real life. Completely pushing aside the fact that Asmodeus snuffed him, he began to follow the rude boy, "Oi! Wait for me." The smile stayed in place as he jogged to keep up. There was a small bit of silence as he thought of something clever to say, "Welp, since you haven't told me your name... I'm going to call you... Snaps. 'Cause you're oh-so-witty." There was a sly grin as they approached an empty table. |

Ugh. This person produced that single thought in his head as in that attempting-to-be-sultry voice just ground on his nerves. What the hell kind of place was this? A maid cafe or a porn movie? Well, her hammy overacting didn't clarify it, that was to be sure. He glanced towards her as she bowed, obscuring her face. Which was fine since eye contact was sort of awkward for the guy who spent most of his time staring at his shoes or the sky. "Cheh.. If you think that's impressing me you're way off target." He said rolling his eyes and glancing to the other guy. "Maybe stalk-kun, here." He said pointing at him with a single finger. "And I named you stalk-kun because you keep following me around." He said in his deadpan way. It wasn't entirely clear if he meant that as a joke or was just being a jerk. But let's not kid ourselves, it was probably the jerk thing. He took a seat at his table and sighed heavily. Hoping he'd luck into a new waitress. |

Aaron bit back a laugh. From his previous encounter with the thorny boy on front of him, it was apparent that he was very irritable. Aaron was just curious as to why. He gave off a rather icy demeanor, but when it came to certain things he seemed so human that the blonde had a difficult time connecting the two. Interesting. The different facets of the boy's personality were starting to click together, and Aaron saved them all inside his head. From his bowing position he continued to speak to Deus in a cheery tone, "I apologize master. For now, is there anything I can fetch for you?" Lifting only his head up, Aaron remained bowing and looked the other boy in the eyes. With his bangs still swept slightly over his face, Aaron's lips quirked in a friendly and genuine smile. "Anything at all?" |

With a same grin still on his face, he sat down opposite of Asmodeus and looked over at Aaron. Once again, he completely ignored the boy's attempts to be rude to him and simply went along with whatever it was he felt like doing. Just because the guy across from him was a jerk didn't mean that Casey couldn't enjoy his first trip to this place. "What are your specialties, miss?" He said cheerfully, and then turned back to Asmodeus, "Or would you rather order first, Snapsy?" |

"Ah.." Well at least this person was being less annoying now. It wasn't like he didn't appreciate that small fortune. And it seemed stalker-kun was dead set on staying at the table. Well, it's not like he could complain really. He'd missed his chance to just tell the idiot to go away. Besides, stalker-kun wasn't too annoying, on the scale of annoying he was ranking pretty low for now. At least... Well at least for the time being. "Omurice.." He said lightly to the girl. ALL maid cafe's offered moe-moe omurice. Some stupid omelet with rice that had a phrase on it in ketchup. Deus liked omurice so it was the cheapest thing for him that he still liked.. Besides, how could a restaurant mess up something like omurice? It was fool proof. And since Deus naturally assumed people were fools, that was a nice factor for it. He glanced over to stalker-kun. "Pay for mine.." He said lightly. "I'm pretty poor, you know." He was also an unrepentant mooch. |

Aaron nibbled on his lower lip, desperately trying not to burst out into a fit of laughter. Smiling as pleasantly as possible yet again, he nodded at Deus. "One moment please." Fishing around in his frilly apron, he procured a small notepad made for taking down orders, and flipped it open to a new page. Just as he was about to right down Deus' order, he paused. Where did he put his pen? Patting himself down, he racked his brain trying to remember where he put his extra pen, and what the specialties of the day were. "Well sir-" Aaron patted down the extra fabric where his breasts should have been, "the Maid Cafe is well-known for it's various teas and coffee, as well as our deserts." His hands trailed down his sides, now searching through his extra pockets. "May I suggest our Peach Momotaro tea? It's made of white teas leaves and fragrant peaches, decorated with jasmine and chrysanthemum blooms." Trailing down even further, Aaron felt around the hem of his dress and exclaimed happily. 'Aha! That's where I put it!' Fishing out a pen from his stocking, he pulled up his hem just a little further before happily brining the writing utensil back to the pad. Smiling at Casey, he looked quickly back to Deus as well, letting the two think about their orders. |

"Ah! I'll definitely have that mango thing! What kind of dessert to you recommend to go with that?" He smiled politely up at Sparrow, completely ignoring Amadeus. He tried his hardest to crush the other boy's hopes and dreams by adding, "Oh, and I'd like a separate check for when we pay. Separately." Casey smirked in Deus' direction. |

Deus practically face palmed. "PEACH, peach momotaro, not mango.." He said rolling his eyes. "Seriously, you're not even in the same room as us are you?" He said in a monotone. He sat back upright and leaned back in his chair. Resting his arm on the back of the seat he sighed heavily towards the others. This guy was really annoying! He didn't even keep up at all. Even so he had taken a jab at Deus so at least Asmodeus could respect him a bit. Even so his wallet was already reaping. He needed a girl.. If there was a girl he could DEFINITELY get them to pay. It was his hidden talent to extort women. Not something most would be proud of but Deus wasn't most. Unfortunately this was more of a boy's place. His talents were useless here. |

"Hmmm..." Aisia Asakura merely watched Aaron from behind the counter as she evaluated his actions. Except, well, she had no idea "she" was a he. She had only passed Aaron once after he had finished changing and didn't get a chance to say hi, so she didn't really know who he was. As such, she only thought that Aaron was a new girl who just started working here at Cafe Mahou. Oh, if she knew what his real gender was, she might get a heart attack. Either way, she was quietly watching Aaron to see if he needed any help dealing with any customers. He seemed to be doing quite fine, even when dealing with unsavory types like Deus. It looked like things were under control for the moment, but all things considered, that could change really quick, so she continued checking on Aaron from afar just in case. |
