Len wasn't the best person when it came to shopping, he lacked the special "abilities" that some women had when it came to such things. Sporting a simple black t-shirt, with matching black and white shorts and simple slippers, it was obvious to tell that he needed new clothing. "Is is that hard to find a new set of clothes? God.." He mumbled to himself, clearly having an annoyance with this little objective that required completion. Sighing, he exited yet another clothing store much to his dismay, but the call of the tempting wooden bench beckoned for him to sit. Shrugging, he made a small journey to the wooden bench and promptly sat himself down. Sliding on a pair of white head phones, the bored teenager turned on his mp3 player and raised it to an audible amount for him to hear.

A few minutes passed, and the constant repeating of the song just influenced his boredom to a higher level. Not even bothering to slide off his head phones, he stood up and went back to his previous task of shopping for new clothes. Len walked around the mall for a bit with his hands behind his head, taking in the view of the casual shoppers and the occasional lovey dovey couple. His eyes caught the sight of one particular shop that was familiar all around the world. "A Starbucks, might as well get something to drink", he said to himself, and began making his way to the cafe. Pushing the glass door, the place wasn't as loud as he thought it would be. The woman behind the counter asked for his order, and course being the polite boy he was, he replied.

"Uhh... can I just get a tall green tea frappuccino?", while saying that, he couldn't help but wonder if today would be... eccentric to say the least!

If it was eccentric Len was looking for, eccentric was what he'd get.
"... Or was it a she? I haven't figured that out yet."
... Dammit Otoha, stop talking to yourself!
"Tch, fine."
"Otoha? Who are you talking to?" Hinata Kagura asked her stand.
"Oh, just thinking out loud~" Otoha chuckled back.

The blonde onmyōji and her persona were walking along the busy aisles of Majikku Mall, doing what most girls their age did best aside from talking about boys and swooning over boy bands; window shopping. It was certainly a way to alleviate their boredom, and it gave them an excuse to go outside (particularly for Otoha, who, if given the chance, would hole herself up in the dorms and play MMORPGs all day).
"Ah, this looks cute!" Hinata said as she pointed at a blue dress in one of the windows.
"Yeah, it is. I bet Hajime-kun would love to see us in that," Otoha replied.
"Eh... Hajime-san..." Hinata said, pressing her palms against her cheeks and blushing at the thought.
"... Or out of it," Otoha added.
"... Thanks onee-chan, you just killed the moment," Hinata sighed. "I'm thirsty. Want to go for some coffee?"
"Sure! Not like I could drink it, but sure," Otoha chuckled as they both went into the nearby Starbucks.

It was cold, so Hinata was wearing a wool sweater that day. And when she made her way to the counter, she brushed her hand against the metal lining of the counter.
ZAP!
Static electricity.
"Ahhhn~" Otoha moaned inappropriately from the jolt, but for Hinata, it was quite worse. Her hand jerked away violently from the counter, and... it made her lose her balance.
"U-uwaaaaahhhh!!!"
... And she was about to crash right into the unsuspecting blonde boy with headphones in front of her.

Sheba was a normal woman, with a normal job, and a normal "goal" in achieving her everyday salary that would probably be spent on something useless later on in her life time. But her job did not impose something that would happen next! She had just gotten the cold drink for the blond boy who ordered it, but her mouth could only gasp and form an "O" for what was about to happen. Len being as oblivious to the environment around him attempted a futile grab at his drink, before an impending doom loomed over him. The sound of a girl yelling (or was it screaming?) confused him, and momentarily he turned around and also yelled at the sight crashing into him. "Gaaaahh!", his own scream was only a 'reflexive' response, but what happened next was worse.

Hoping that he'd be able to at least prevent himself from falling, Len made the grave mistake by reaching for the cup of frappuccino, resulting in yet another mess. In an instant, the cap of the coffee snapped off by karma sheer luck, and the contents of the drink sloped downward bringing a cascade of green liquid to fall onto his black shirt. The sound of 'splat splat' from the coffee landing on his shirt alarmed him, and suddenly a silence dawned over the girl who crashed into him and Len himself. A fuse was lit within his mind, and Len was attempting to stop it from exploding by clenching his fists to reduce the stress that was overloading him. Pushing the girl who currently laid on him from the crash off him roughly, the blond stood up and gave a glare that could kill while speaking in a passionately pissed off voice.

"Hey, what the hell do you think you're doing, now I have tea all over me!"

"Oh Goddammi-"
WHAM.
Otoha sighed as Hinata crashed into Len and caused his green tea frappuccino to spill all over his black shirt, along with some spilling on Hinata's sweater. Thankfully, it was cold, so there wasn't any danger of burning herself with the beverage, but there was still the trouble of getting that stuff off of their clothes.
Len roughly pushed Hinata off of him, and was understandably angry. After all, you don't just get green tea frappuccino all over yourself and expect to be happy about it.

"Hey, what the hell do you think you're doing, now I have tea all over me!" the young blonde boy angrily yelled.
"I-I'm sorry!" Hinata tried to apologize as she managed to recover from falling back. She hurriedly brought out a handkerchief so she could try and wipe out the liquid, but Otoha was already one step ahead of her. She made her way to the nearest napkin dispenser and started wiping down the poor boy while helping him up, and Hinata was still kneeling on the floor trying to find her handkerchief.
"Hinata, you can stop trying to find your hanky, I've got this," Otoha said. "Oh, and sorry about my sister, she's... awfully clumsy. We're willing to reimburse your drink if you want..."

It might freak Len out though that he was being brought back to his feet by an invisible force.
... And a talking invisible force at that.

He was about to accept the girl's apology, and his mouth even opened up half way before she began to attempt to wipe the chilled green liquid off his shirt. He could have sworn that his eyebrows were twitching in annoyance on their own, since the handkerchief was hurting the situation even more by simply smearing the fluid all over his shirt. C'mon Len... just count real slowly.. take deep breaths and don't blow up... closing his eyes and ignoring her attempts to drain the liquid off his shirt, he began taking deep breaths and exhaled slowly two times. "...Its alright, I'm sorry for blowing up on your sister miss." The boy had calm down, and was going to stand up before a sudden force helped him up. He jumped in surprise, with an obvious display of confusion in his blue eyes.

"Oh... OH, that was you... I forgot people here... had err.. special abilities?" He shrugged, and patted the back of his head while he forced out a small laugh. Len stared at his shirt momentarily, and a heavy sigh escaped his lips upon realization that it was one of his favorite shirts. Seeing as he had a more then interesting "introduction" to the two sisters, he analyzed Hinata and came to an impression that she was a shy girl, but rather a bit klutzy. "Ahh.. I see, but what am I going to do about this shirt? I just moved here and this is one of the few pieces of clothing that I have." In all honesty, he was actually in a predicament, he did need clothing, and the ones he had had been reduced by a significant number by a simple clumsy action.

"Hey... since you two are girls, do you think you can uhh.. help me a bit with something?" Len didn't have the courage to look them in the eyes. A tint of red indicated he was blushing from embarrassment, it was often that he asked random people such a question. The silence was a bit unbearable for the teenager, and he fidgeted, wiggling his fingers nervously back and forth. Len managed to crack a forced smile, hopefully to further the point that he meant no harm. "Oh, if its too much by the way, I can just do it myself then." his tone was somewhat anxious, attempting to mask his own nervousness at the chance of a new friendship by lying his head on the palms of his hands that were suddenly behind it. ..Great Len, what a weird way to meet new people.

Thankfully, the boy was now a lot less angry than he was just moments ago. That and he was asking for help... mostly because they were two girls.
"... Ehhh!? But... but I already have Hajime-kun~" Otoha gasped. Oi, Otoha! I'm pretty sure he doesn't mean THAT kind of help!
"But... if my body is the best compensation for running into you..." Otoha continued, right before Hinata hit herself with a harisen and silenced the Stand.
"... I'm sorry about that. My Stand says a lot of strange and inappropriate things," Hinata sighed, and she was right about that. First off, what body was she talking about anyway? Hinata's?

... Actually no, don't answer that.

Well, Hinata managed to pick herself up from the floor herself and bowed apologetically to Len. "I'm terribly, terribly sorry! If there's anything we can do to help you, please, don't hesitate to ask! It's... the least we could do, after running into you like that," she sighed. "I'm Hinata Kagura. My Stand - or Persona, or whatever name goes for spirit companions these days - is Otoha, the one who helped you up. Long story short, she's a ghost, of sorts."
"Ah, let me guess... you need a new shirt," Otoha's muffled voice mused from the floor, her face still somewhat planted into the ground.

There reactions were more then a bit confusion, and the surprisingly innocent boy could only cock his head in confusion. Len was an advanced student yes, but at the same time it seemed he lacked the personal "wisdom" to contemplate what they meant. "...Body? How do you have a body as compensation..?" He mumbled to himself, shrugging his shoulders before the girl smacked the "stand". Of course, he was still nervous, fidgeting ever so slightly as the conversation pulled in waves of awkwardness. Len gave a forced laugh, in hopes to lighten the conversation without it having a detrimental affect on both sides.

A smile tugged at the corner of his lips when Hinata offered her help, listening to her introduction. "Oh, its nice to meet you Kagura-san, and... Otoha-san. My name is Len Yuzuki, its a pleasure to meet both of you, and Otoha-san guess correctly." Nodding, he pointed at his shirt to further clarify what he wanted help on. "If its alright, is it possible for you two to help me shop? I'm not sure what I should get for new clothing, since I came here with barely any clothing to be honest". The sight was still somewhat amusing, his boring day evolved into an "interesting" day with the first two people he met. Naturally he was a bit happy to meet new people, but he had a feeling they were merely acquaintances.

"Oh, its nice to meet you Kagura-san, and... Otoha-san. My name is Len Yuzuki, its a pleasure to meet both of you, and Otoha-san guess correctly. If its alright, is it possible for you two to help me shop? I'm not sure what I should get for new clothing, since I came here with barely any clothing to be honest," Len lamented.
"Of course, Yuzuki-san!" Hinata said. "It's the least we can do. Oh, that's right..." she also said, before concentrating a little bit... and making Otoha appear in front of him.

... and oddly enough, the Stand had a detective hat and a smoke pipe in her mouth, smoking something that looked like... bubbles.
"Hmmm. A young boy that we've never seen before. Your body language and speech seem to suggest that you don't encounter people like us that often. And the clincher... you ask us for help on shopping because you 'came here with barely any clothing'," Otoha said in a deep and ominous British accent.
"There's only one possible explanation. When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. You... ARE A NEW STUDENT AT HYAKUJI. Is that not right, mister Watson!?" she asked Hinata, who promptly facepalmed.
"Otoha, you're being rude to him. And second, why am I Watson!?"
"Elementary, my dear Watson."
"That's not even a proper answer!"

"Well, Len-chan, we'll be more than happy to replace that shirt and help you shop for all of your new ones. We're going to make you look fabulous!" Otoha cheerily said to Len, making Hinata sigh.
"Well, as long as you don't mind my Stand suggesting anything so... outlandish. I'll make sure she doesn't go overboard," Hinata said.
"Awww, but I've always wanted to dress up cute little boys~" the Stand whimpered as she floated behind Len and was obviously resisting the urge to hug him right then and there. "Seriously though, we'll help you get a killer wardrobe in no time! And since we're here... we should reimburse your drink."

She then turned to the girl at the counter. "Miss, I'd like to order two of whatever it was he just ordered. One for him, one for Hinata-chan."
Hinata sighed. "Again, I'm sorry about her..." she said to Len.

"Awkward", it was a simple word that could only describe how weird it was with the stand. Len was more then surprised when she pulled out her hat and a pipe with bubbles instead of smoke. Unconsciously, one of his blond eyebrows twitched, wondering what in the hell the girl was doing. Otoha's sudden accusatory tone with a (bad?) British accent surprised him again, instantly raising his hands as if he was asking for mercy in a war. "Y-yes.. I'm a new student here and--" Len was interrupted, and couldn't help but feel that he looked like a complete idiot standing there in the middle of a coffee shop. Inwardly he laughed, trying to lighten the conversation while rubbing the back of his head in complete confusion.

"Really, you'll help? Thanks you're the best!" a small smile graced his lips, and he gave a gentleman like bow to show his gratitude. Although the comment about dressing up cute boys peeved him ever so slightly. "Uhh.. I don't need a 'killer' wardrobe, if its alright I'd prefer something comfortable and practical instead of flashy." That was his only defense to a hopefully normal future with both of them shopping, although he had the foreboding feeling that something far from normal was about to happen to him. Accepting the drink from Otoha, he murmured a quick thanks before quickly taking a sip of the green tea goodness. Hinata's apology brought his attention to her, and at first he didn't know how to respond. "Ehh, its alright... its quite a change of scenery compared to where I come from... a much better change."

Momentarily, Len had a face of depression, fortified by the apparent grip his small hands had on the cup. A heavy sigh escaped his lips, but the boy replaced his display of sadness with a hardy, albeit forced smile. "Well then, do you two have a place in mind for a guy like me hopefully?" So far, his first impression of the two was simple, he liked them. It seemed that Otoha's antics amused him, and the way Hinata acted just acted as a form of comedic relief for Len. Walking past the two, he didn't even wait for their response and simply pushed the glass door of the cafe. On the outside of glass window, the teenager sipped happily on his drink while beckoning for both of them to come outside. Through all of that, a genuine chuckle still seemed to decorate his facial features.

Well, this is a start of a new life...hopefully.

"YOSHA!" Otoha cheered as they left the Starbucks and walked with Len in one direction of the mall. "We'll start by going for something conservative."
Hinata blinked. "That's... unusual. You're suggesting something conservative?"
"Of course. After all, it's always best to start with something simple," Otoha said.
"Well... it's just that you're always suggesting something outrageous all the time. It's very rare that you would suggest something that's relatively..."
"We're here."

Hinata stopped in front of the shop that Otoha was referring to.
"... normal?"
She blinked at the shop.
"... Hot Topic?"
"Eh?" Otoha asked.
"WHY ARE WE IN FRONT OF THIS!?" Hinata cried. "THIS IS HARDLY CONSERVATIVE!"
"Oh, not that shop. I mean the shop across it," Otoha said, pointing to a rather humble retail shop next door. That, in comparison, was pretty normal.
Hinata sighed and genuflected at that.

As soon as Hinata recovered, the pair led Len towards the shop. It was small, but it had all manner of shirts, pants and dresses. It was a fairly wide selection, to be honest.
"Well, take your pick, Len-chan," Otoha encouraged him as she pulled out a cute little sailor polo shirt from one of the racks. "Perhaps something like this would do?"

So far his impression of the pair was amazing, they were an interesting duo that entertained him to no end. Most of the time he remained silent, although he laughed softly at the pair's antics, mostly Otoha's of course. "Something simple...? Kagura-san, what do you mean by Otoha-san being uhh.. outrageous?" his innocent question was somewhat blocked by the two, but he didn't mind and could only shrug as he followed them to the store. The moment the three of them arrived at the store, Len had a feeling that his clothing was going to be "conservative", although only in Otoha's definition of the word. "H-hot Topic? I guess they have some clothing that are interesting.. but-" he attempted to say, only to hear the cry of Hinata.

Placing both of his hands in the pockets of his shorts, he followed both of them into the store and found a rather generous assortment of different clothings, some ranging from unorthodox logos to actual plain t-shirts. "Oh really? I guess I-... can, Otoha-san," for some reason he felt a bit awkward looking at the polo shirt. Nervously, he looked to Hinata for help, secretly sending out a vibe of "help me.. please!". Momentarily he glanced back to the stand, her encouraging voice making him somewhat 'fearful' of what clothing she'd choose for her in the future. "Well, I guess it won't hurt to try it on... I'll take it for now Otoha-san." The blond quickly extended his hand and grabbed the shirt from her holding onto it for later references. Curiously, Len began to browse throughout the shop, but a particular shirt caught his teal eyes.

His tongue was held between the corner of his lips, signifying that was trying to contemplate if the shirt would look good on him. "Hey Kagura-san, Otoha-san, what do you think of this shirt?" he called out to them from the left side of the store. If they heeded his call, Len would have been holding out a silky white shirt embroidered with a Japanese character translating into 'love'. Throughout the shirt, a Chinese dragon encircled around the shirt, as if to say it was the owner of the silk shirt. While displaying the shirt to them, he flipped and turned it around slowly so that the duo could get a better view of the shirt from different angles. "I think this shirt might be good with a black wristband, and maybe some matching shorts?" he concluded, but it was obvious that his fashion sense was a little bit obscured.

"I think this shirt might be good with a black wristband, and maybe some matching shorts?" Len suggested as he showed the pair a shirt that he found. Apparently Otoha reared back in surprise at the sight of the shirt.
"It was this display of overwhelming stylishness that stole my heart! This feeling... can only be called LOVE!" Otoha said in a dramatic fashion, and almost sounding like a certain GN Flag pilot from Gundam 00.
Hinata blinked. "Love!?" she looked at the shirt again, and facepalmed. "Certainly, the kanji on it says 'Ai', but-"
"But if you go beyond love, it becomes hatred! Just as people turn on each other when they take fashion failures too far!"

"... Otoha, THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE!" Hinata groaned.
"In any case, a pair of matching white shorts seems too monotonous. Not to mention shorts might make you look too childish," Otoha mused. "I think a pair of black pants would do. It would make you look a bit more mature and sophisticated. But, it wouldn't hurt to try out both!"
With that, Otoha then looked around and found two pairs of pants and shorts. One set was white denim like the shirt, while the other set was made out of black denim. "Here, why not try both on and see what you think?" she said as she showed Len the lower garments. "If you have something else in mind you want to try too, feel free to do so~"

Did he just regret having a shirt with the word love in it? No no he didn't, Len denied that fact and decided it was only a fleeting thought. However both of them were making him smile, and the urge to laugh out loud was killing him as he continued to shove it down his mouth. But he heard Otoha speak again, and couldn't help but pout rebelliously. "W-well, shorts can make someone look cool and err... older if you combine it correctly! Besides, I like shorts!" he stated matter-o-factly, but decided that he shouldn't go against someone who probably had a higher sense of fashion then him. Blinking at first, he poked the two denim shorts, wondering how it was possible to have an actual white "white" denim shorts.

"Err okay, let me find a dressing room first" he said, and quickly asked the clerk for the dressing room. The clerk was a gothic woman color wise, with strangely stereotypical black clothes and heavy black eyeliner that screamed a certain something. He followed the strangely normal woman and went into the dressing room. As soon as he entered his stall, the blond took off his stained black shirt and white shorts, and slid on the silky shirt with the kanji and dragon patterned design. Finally he slid on the white denim shorts and exited the stall and came outside. "Here I am, how do I look?" he asked, but didn't do a single pose. He stood there like an idiot, waiting for their responses, but he could clearly here the gossip of some people behind him, and could have sworn he wore the word "cute".

"Hmmm..." Hinata mused at Len, who was more or less posing for them in his all-white ensemble. "It looks okay. Otoha, what do you think?"
"Uoh! How dazzling!" Otoha said while... shielding her face from something.
"... what the hell is so dazzling?" Hinata sighed.
"I kid, I kid," the Stand recanted, then turned to Len. "But yeah... it looks good, but it's... white. Too white, too uniform. Not to mention white pants in general are kind of a no-no unless it's for something formal. For casual wear, if you really want to wear an all-light ensemble, a pair of khaki shorts would work better."

With that in mind, Otoha then rummaged through the shorts section again and pulled out a pair of longer khaki cargo shorts and a black belt to go with it.
"Here! Try these on too!" Otoha said. "We'd better not disappoint the audience backstage~"
"... What the heck are you talking about now?" Hinata sighed.
"Nothing~" Otoha whistled innocently.
"... That aside, Otoha's right. It certainly seems to look better if the shorts were of a different color instead," Hinata somewhat said as she agreed with her Stand.

"Too white? I guess its weird... but I liked the white..." he said, pouting rebelliously at first. Eventually he decided to give on, and accepted the khaki pants from the stand, although he felt the black belt might have been a bit too much. "If you two don't mind, I think I'm going to get some accessories in attempt to match something with the outfit," Len explained, throwing the khaki pants over his shoulder as his body shifted to the right where a plethora of accessories and other goodies stood. With a hint of curiosity, he rubbed the bottom of his chin as he contemplated the wrist bands that wound match with the shirt and the pants. Most of them were black, with an occasional wristband being an unorthodox color.

"Hey, Otoha-san, Kagura-san, what kind of accessory do you think will go with the clothing, maybe some kind of black wristband with a cool design on it maybe?" the blond shouted in their direction, hoping it would be loud enough for them to hear. One of his hands pointed to the rack of accessories, while his other arm beckoned for both of them to come look with him. "One of the wristbands has a matching symbol, something like a dragon that could probably match the shirt!" he gleamed, speaking in an energetic tone.
