What kind of lighting do you use? I like it. My favorite would be the first one, but I have to tell you I don't like the way you cropped this set, cutting off her feet, elbows, face, etc. The first photograph would have been perfect had you not cut off her foot and hand like that, which is a shame. Same goes for the second one. The third just doesn't do it for me though. On the plus side you're excellent at creating moods, which is something I'm actually not quite good at. You use good lighting, props, etc. And you seem to know exactly what you want to create in a photograph as well as having a good knowledge and use of the technical aspect and a good, personal style which reflects on all your pics. So there, just a few thoughts. In other, unrelated matters... you should really make just one topic to put all your photographs in and update it instead of making a new one every time you want to post new pics. Also... it'd be great if you like... started RPing soon ^^ |

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I appreciate it.I actually just use the lighting that's available. I usually like just natural lighting, but the light that was already set up was perfect. For the first to pictures, I didn't crop off her limbs, that's jsut how I took the picture. Now, that I consider it, I would've done that differently. :/ For the third, I was trying to put focus on the objects around her, and that she's touching. I'll admit it's not one of my best. Why thank you. Truly, I was a little afraid the pictures weren't goign to come out like I expected. ^^;Hahaaaa. I thought about that, but like, other roleplay sites I've been at, you can't double post and such. And sometimes I worry that even if I edit my topic, people won't look to check if there's new pictures. As for roelplaying, I'm working on it. Lol. A lot things are going on. But at least I'm still active~

I understand what you were trying to do, but next time instead of doing that try using a wider aperture to focus attention on whatever you want to show in the picture while keeping the model and the background blurred... say a 4 or 3.5 at least; but for that you need to have a clear subject, something that draws attention and in that pic the trolley only has junk in it, nothing special at all. That room full of junk and the well-dressed girl shopping for useless junk is an awesome concept for a photograph, so I think you could exploit that even further in another shoot and actually give your model something to do instead of just posing for the camera. I said I didn't like the third picture in a technical way but as a concept it has more potential than the other two. |

Yeah, agreeing with Eiji on the idea of using a wider aperture (or a closer lens?) to get the blurred background, especially with the third. I like the cropping on the third actually, its my favorite out of all three. I'm liking the composition of it, not so much on the first. I mean, you have the focal point of the model but at the same time there's so much going on in the room, and, while the lighting is wonderful for setting the mood, it also means you have no strong light source and have to do more the keep the photo centered on the model. I think if you just got rid of some of the objects in the first picture the flow of the image would be much better. Second is the least favvie for me, seems a bit more bland than the other two
