Celestial was engrossed in a game, her favorite in the whole arcade. It was a racing game, suitable for two but one seat was left vacant. She didn't seem to care as she raced through the third lap of the race, still strong in second place.

She was captivated, her body turning as her car did, which happened with most people when they played video games. She wasn't much of a gamer but because it was Nickle's arcade she spent most of her time off at the arcade with him.

She was dressed for the occasion, in a pair of cute jeans and a tank top with one of Nickle's hoodies on over it. She was comfortable, not really needing to impress anyone.

She sat back in the cushioned chair when the race was over, huffing and puffing because she was seconds from getting first place.

Generally, the arcade wasn't the kind of place a 6 and a half foot tall teenager who was subconcious about her height would show up to, but somehow Jun had made an exception for herself on this particular day. She had resigned herself to forgetting about the fact that she was not only taller than every last man, woman and child in the place at any given time, though the fact that she had to bend over to see the screens of all the games was a constant reminder regardless. Oh, and there was also the fact that she couldn't fit in any of those racing games... at all. She was dressed 'short' today, wearing a pair of flat sneakers, a pair of long jeans (to hide the length of her legs) and a t-shirt.

Whenever she saw people sitting in those relatively small (or normal I guess) sized chairs and turning in tune with the virtual wheel Jun always felt a small hint of jealous, though you wouldn't tell by looking at her. Speaking of which, one such person was sitting in a game as she strolled by; Jun was able to get a bird's-eye-view of the girl throughly engrossed in a particular race. It caught Jun's attention long enough to cause her to pause and view the end of the race, leaning her elbow on the top of the empty chair.

"Nice race," she said finally, noticing the girl in the chair was noticable strained, "don't think I've ever seen anyone put that much effort into a video game before."

Celestial had not noticed the exceptionally tall girl walk in, though it seemed a lot of the people did. She was still huffing and puffing when she heard a voice compliment on her game. She peeked out from the chair and saw her. She was really tall, but was still pretty. She giggled when she mentioned how intense she was and shrugged.

"Racing is serious business!"

She said, half sarcastically, getting out of the chair and stretching like she had just got done a long work out. She laughed and looked up at her. She wasn't uncomfortable, she was taller than normal girls, though not to the extent as the girl in front of her.

"Hi, I'm Celestial"

Serious business eh?

Jun slightly raised an eyebrow at that comment, apparently virtual racing was so serious a buisness that they failed to take into account that some people were, well, too tall to fit in their chairs without bending their knees into their own stomach. She knew that fact from experience; it was one that occured to her the first and last time she had bothered to try one of those racing games... after which her legs and torso staged a large scale rebellion against the rest of her body in the form of complete numbness and a subsequent faceplant when she tried to stand up out of the chair. Now, if you've never seen a person of her stature faceplant before... it was quite the sight to behold, but from now on you'd have to take Jun's word for it as she wasn't about to demonstrate.

"Jun," she replied, leaning a bit further onto chair to reduce the height difference a bit more. She was still a head taller than the girl in front of her (she'd have to bend pretty far to reach eye level.. and that would just look funny), but at least this was better than standing at full height and towering over her. So far so good though, unlike most people, the first words out of this girl's mouth hadn't been about her height, a successful first impression in Jun's book. She always felt like enough of giant without people reminding her about it all the damn time.

"You'd think you were a professional with all that effort you put into that race; you must practice a lot."

Celestial nodded when she told her her name. Jun. It was a name that didn't seem to fit her. She figured it'd be something a lot more exotic. She leaned against the chair as well, looking at her without straining to look up at her. She didn't bring up her height because she was pretty sure that she already knew how tall she was. She didn't have to call her out even more.

She laughed when she said that she must have practiced a lot. She did, Nickle did own the place, so she was here probably more than her own job. She wondered where he was, but didn't mind. She was fine with talking to this new girl, and didn't pay attention to the stares the girl was getting.

"Haha yea I do kind of spend a lot of time here. I'm practically a professional"

She said with a giggle, shaking her head as she said it.

"We are... the lonely drivers. NEE, TAKUMI-KUN!?"
The voice of a rather pathetic-sounding man echoed in one of the racing game pods.
"... Why are we here again?" a female voice asked.
"Because I was bored," came the answer, except it was also a female voice that said it too.

Hinata and Otoha exited the racing pod that they were playing in earlier. It was similar to the one Celestial was in earlier, except this one sported a different game: Initial D 4th Stage. And much to Hinata's chagrin, Otoha made them get a card for themselves too.
"... We're wasting money on something that's not even useful," the girl seemingly sighed to nobody in particular. That was because unless you could see spirits, all you really saw was Hinata talking to thin air. If you did, however, you saw a blonde girl with short hair and black ribbons cheerily chatting with her companion as she stood by her, like a Stand.
"It's fine, it's fine! It's not like we get to use these often anyway. Like, when was the last time we even played Gundam?" the stand chuckled.
"I'd rather not have to deal with that again, if possible," Hinata sighed.

They walked past the other set of racing pods where Jun and Celestial were, and somehow, Hinata couldn't help but stare at the tall girl. It wasn't a look of "HOLY CRAP SHE'S XBOX HUGE" but rather one of admiration. She was, after all, quite pretty.
"Holy crap, she's huge like our 360!" Otoha whispered in her sister's ear.
That certainly broke her out of her trance. "... W-WHY ARE YOU SAYING THAT!?" Hinata yelled, surprising a man who was passing by. That's when the chain reaction started. He threw his arms up in surprise, startling Hinata a bit, then causing the poor girl to stagger on her feet and fall back right into Jun.

Otoha blinked at that. "Oi , oi! Don't fall n-too late."
Hinata was falling right into Jun, and her Initial D card flew out of her hands and onto Celestial's lap.

"Yeah I guess so," Jun replied with a nod and a slight smile, "Have you considered entering some kind of tournament?" Jun wasn't even sure if they had tournaments for things like that these days... but then again if you could probably find a tournament for just about anything, especially when it had to do with video games. Her suggestion wasn't actually serious... but at least it would keep the conversation going somewhat. At least... until some random person yelled and fell into her.

"... W-WHY ARE YOU SAYING THAT!?"

"What the..?" Jun said outloud, falling forward after being hit from behind, which caused her to knock right into Celestial, essentially causing a domino effect of bodies next to the game machine. "Oww..." Jun finally spoke up again after a breif moment of silence; she was a little disoriented... but it only took a moment for her to realize she was on top of another person. Her face started to turn red before she spoke up, "Ah! I'm sorry," she said, trying to get up... which is made rather difficult by the person on her back, "Hey! get offa me!"

That was when she spotted it, a card sitting on the ground next to the two of them. It was one that she recognized from the game Initial D... the one racing game she had ever given the time of day (and had subsequently repaid her with cramps). Was this person on her back some kind of perverted nerd who had taken the chance to grope her while she was distracted?! This made Jun's efforts to get up double in strength; she whipped around, shoving whoever the bastard was off of her back and getting up to full height with her face full of a mixture of embarrassment and anger... until she realized...

It's a girl...?

Celestial nodded when she said that and smirked when she asked if she ever wanted to enter a tournament. She had never thought about it. She would have to ask Nickle if they did tournaments at the arcade. She was eying the people around them, before looking into Jun's eyes. One of her biggest pet peeves was when people were constantly looking around while talking to someone. It was just plain rude.

"I never really thought abou-"

She said before watching the chain reaction that seemed to happen in slow motion. She looked down at the card in her lap and picked it up, looking at it before realizing it was an Initial D card. Before she could hand it back to the person she was knocked over.

She gasped when she fell, Jun falling on top of her and it seemed that another person had fallen on her. She nodded when Jun apologized

"It's alright, what the?"

She said, peering out from under Jun, waiting for the people to react and move so Jun could get up too. Of course this had also caused a scene in the arcade that seemed silent, even with all the game music still playing idly in the background. The people were silent and no one made an attempt to move.

One of the workers that knew Celestial had noticed and was working her way through the crowds to see if everything was alright.

"Owwww..." Hinata grumbled.
"Oi, oi," Otoha sighed. "Pick yourself up, woman!" she said as Hinata tried to pick herself up.
"Hey! get offa me!" Jun yelled, causing Hinata to gasp at that. She was startled enough that she lost her balance again and sort of fell back down to the floor.

Ah! The card! she thought at some point, but then she remembered that she was now also on top of the tall and beautiful woman she was passing by earlier and she tried to pick herself back up again.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" she said as she kept bowing in apology. "I wasn't meaning to stare, honest!"
Geh... Well, I guess it can't be helped... Otoha sighed as she too helped Celestial get back on her feet. She was strong, so she would have that much of a problem with that. It was the part about Hinata staring that probably warranted some fixing at some point.

She also seemed to remember Celestial as one of the Arcadia members who showed up when Hiro first turned into a vampire, but she couldn't exactly address her as such. That and there was a more important issue at hand, specifically Jun's, as she still had the Initial D card that Hinata dropped.

Well this was just great; now the entire arcade was looking at the group of them; exactly what Jun had been hoping to NOT have happen when she walked into this place. It walways seemed that whereever she went, invariably everyone in the place ended up staring at her one way or another. Taking a quick look around, Jun confirmed this fact, which made her face instantly turn red with embarassment. It was bad enough that the girl that bumped into her had been staring at her in the first place.

"You may just want to watch where you're going next time..." Jun muttered, bending down to pick up the card that had landed right by her foot, "And not stare at random people..." That last part was spoken rather low, but if anyone was paying attention they may have caught it.

Celestial let the girl help her up, smiling as she did and nodding to Nickle's worker when she asked if she was okay. She looked at Jun who looked both embarrassed and still a tad bit mad and frowned. She knew the girl was used to getting stared at, and felt a little bad that this little ordeal had happened.

She looked at the girl that had knocked them both over in curiosity. She wondered how such a petite girl could cause this much trouble, but as she said she wasn't looking where she was going. She was wondering who she was staring at, not wanting to believe the obvious answer.

"Are you alright Jun?"

She asked, looking at the other girls as well. She didn't know either of their names so she couldn't ask if they were alright too. She smiled warmly, trying to diffuse the situation. People were finally starting to go back to their now over games.

"I'm sorry..." Hinata tried to apologize, bowing profusely as she did. This was further amplified when Jun sort of told her to watch where she was going and to not stare at random people. Not even Celestial's warm smile could keep Hinata from bowing over and over.

"Haaah... come on, Hinata, let's not worry too much about that," Otoha said as she ruffled her sister's hair and tried to pet her to calm her down. "Man, we just came here to say hi to Nickle-kun too..."

Now, there were two things bad about this. One was that they were talking out loud about Nickle in front of Celestial, the very person who was getting married to him. Second, if neither of them could see ghosts, especially Jun, then things were about to get a weird when Otoha realized that the tall girl had their Initial D card.
"Ahhhh! Our Initial D card!" she said rather loudly. It was an arcade, after all; one couldn't help but yell a little louder than usual.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Jun replied, shaking her head and clutching the card that had been in her hand a little tighter. She wasn't one to be a jerk by not forgiving people who clearly were sorry for what happened... but that didn't change the fact that she was a little embarassed... and certainly miffed by the whole thing. Oh well; she'd get over it... eventually.

"Ahhhh! Our Initial D card!"

"Eh?" Jun's eyebrow raised again at a second sudden outburst by the girl, wondering what could possibly be up this time. After a moment, she looked down at her hand and realized that she still had that card that had fallen on them in the chain reaction. "Oh. is this yours?"

Celestial watched as the girl bowed over and over again and then smirked when her sister tried to comfort her. She heard Nickle's name mentioned and looked at them more closely now. She wasn't jealous or going to attack them, but she had never seen them around before.

"I'm sorry do I know you two? Nickle is my fiance"

She said with a warm smile as she stood up and watched Jun ask if the card was theirs. She didn't know why it was so important but she didn't seem to mind.

She tried to hear their thoughts, she knew it was wrong, but she did it subconsciously sometimes.

"I'm sorry do I know you two? Nickle is my fiance," Celestial spoke.
Hinata blinked at that. "Oh! Wait... you are?" she said as she finally broke free from her cacophony of "I'm sorry"s long enough to address the other girl. For her, it seemed kind of... strange. This was an arcade, a place where girls didn't typically go, and yet here she was, in the presence of two really beautiful girls, one of them apparently being Nickle's bride to be.
"Ah... I didn't know he had a fiance. I mostly met him one time near the shrine and ended up helping him train him to sense spirits," Hinata said before bowing. "I'm Hinata Kagura. I'm... sorry for causing this trouble..." she sighed.

Jun was also giving the Initial D card to her. "Oh. Is this yours?" she asked as she handed it to Hinata.
"Oh! Thank you-"

Pluck.

"Thanks! Man, I'd hate to lose this on the first day we make it. So, wait, Nick-kun's getting married now? WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN!?"
These words came from Otoha, the Stand, who was still in her ghost form at this point (well, Hinata didn't materialize her yet), and was now holding the Initial D card in mid-air.

... Yeah.
