"All's well that ends well I suppose." Hongo said, his grin not wavering. He had since opened his bag and instead pulled out a small towel and tossed it over to Jean. "Good you're back among us young man, now wipe yourself off." he said, chuckling a bit. It'd probably be bad if the juice dried off and left him all sticky, so it was the least he could do.

"Didn't expect my first day here to be so...interesting." Hongo mused aloud. A battle between a bug-cyborg, a crazy clown and a girl with wings for ears, not something you'd see every day. Well, where he came from at least...okay not really, he did fight things like Devil Squids and what not, this wasn't much of a stretch.

"So how are you feeling?" he asked Jean, just to make sure. It was a hard hit to the head after all.

WHAT'S SO FUNNY?
Wah... woah! Things were coming at Jean from all directions now as he just didn't know what was going on! He awoke to find himself in a crater, his mask is broken, he may have peed himself, his head really hurts, and now Touka was crying! "There there." Jean said as he patted the girl's back as she surprised him once again with an embrace. She seemed like a nice girl and this was only their first meeting after all and look at that! Jean's hugging her! The clown smiled as he continued to answer Touka's embrace when he noticed something different about his body. His hands were white. Looking over Touka's shoulder, Jean saw as the white had faded into color on the back of his hands. What was that? Could it be that Jean did something that he shouldn't have? Did it have something to do with the power of the Pierrot? Jean gave the thought nothing more and disclosed it as a hallucination from his head injury.

"So how are you feeling?" Hongo asked Jean, as Jean's head turned to face the man he has yet to meet. With signs of still being dazed Jean softly spoke, "My head hurts. I can't seem to remember what your name was, mister. I've also seemed to have forgotten what you are too..."

Ah, it was apple juice! Jean rejoiced on the inside as his fears were cast away by the facts given by Touka. Jean looked like a mess. Apple juice had spilled all over him, dust and dirt seeped into his clothes, and his make-up was a mess. Thank goodness the Association wasn't watching Jean right now; he'd be an insult to all clown-kin.

The same carefree smile the girl had a while ago slowly had started to return. Perhaps it was because she knew Jean was alright, or just that she slowly had been released from that tense and uncomfortable feeling that had lingered in the air up till now. Despite the rather strange circumstances Jean had woken up in Touka barely seemed to had noticed, or just not cared for them. When finally Jean had responded to man who had helped her save Jean from the monster clown Touka turned her head slightly toward Hongo, her eyes suddenly displaying a hint of childish curiosity. It was true that his arrival was unexpected, be certainly very appreciated but only now she realized she didn’t even knew the man his name! Well when he had called upon the powers of that mysterious armor he did call himself by a name didn’t he? But what could it have been… It must had been because of the amazing way he had called upon the armor that had caused her to forget even such a detail! Well a lot of amazing things had happened in such a short period of time, things she never even expected to see in the human world!

“Umm… I think he called himself Ramen Raider or something, human names sure are weird… I heard this Ramen thing was famous in this part of the world but for someone to call himself a food type? He must had been a big fan~”

Smiling innocently at her own comment the girl gazed toward Hongo before she realized his armor had disappeared already. It was a pity since the crafter spirit within her wanted to ask him so much about it. What materials were used during its creation, what techniques he used, there were so many things she liked to ask! Yet rather than throwing a rain of questions toward Hongo the girl had suddenly stood up and bowed deeply toward the man. It was actually a bit strange in her opinion that people did this sort of thing to express their gratitude. Wasn’t it easier to just say “thank you” or something? Still she was in the outside world now so perhaps she should grow used to those weird customs.

“Thank you very much for saving Jean mister Ramen Raider~ If you weren’t here I wouldn’t know what would have happened back there. Still to be able to submit that mocking monster to your will and calling forth that armor… You must be a hero!”

Happily clapping her hands in delight for meeting a hero the girl truly seemed to had shifted her behavior as often as a chameleon changed his color. Still once more she had caused some misunderstandings didn’t she? What mysterious secrets would the Ramen Raider have in store for her and Jean?

"It's...Kamen Rider, actually...or Masked Rider if you prefer." Hongo mused, laughing a bit at the mispronunciation. The other girl seemed so...interested in him, but not the kind he was expecting...she expressed a childlike interest it seemed. The one that wants questions answered when they see something different from what they are used to. It was the kind that would have pained him that if he tried to lie about it, he'd feel guilty.

"And that's actually because I haven't introduced myself yet. The name's Takeshi Hongo and I was just doing what any one would have done to help." He said, introducing himself with a friendly grin on his face. "And I'm nothing special, I have a few friends who are able to do just the same." he added at the end, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head. This was the truth after all, he was just the first, he knew about...ten others just like him.

Somehow...it felt odd being called a hero again after all these years, even over something as small as this. Not once has he ever stuck around long enough to be praised...it was kind of nice.

Wait what? Jean was saved? The thought traveled through the farthest corners of Jean's mind as he searched for some sort of explanation of what had taken place. "Saved?" Jean asked as another thought overrode the previous one. "Wait... Ramen Raider?" For a moment, Jean imagined that he was a damsel in distress in a flowy pink dress with a magical tiara, followed by the tyrannical laughter of some forsaken villain whose name escapes Jean's imagination. Things exploded and the sky went black when suddenly, a ramen bowl comes soaring from the sky in pirate attire... wait what?

"Ohh... Kamen Rider." Jean said, as if running into a masked transforming hero was commonplace let alone the knowledge of the masked hero's identity. "Yeah... a Ramen Raider would be outrageous!" Jean joked, patting Touka on the back lightly in such a manner. The young man once again caught another glimpse of his hand. The white had completely faded... he would have to check that out later.

Jean stood up and decided to talk a few steps forward to shake the hand of his supposed 'saviour,' but what followed was his collapse. As soon as Jean took his first step forward, it was as if his legs disappeared. The cost of his higher level form was paid for dearly by his fragile and limited human body. It was then that his muscles began to ache, his limbs starting to get heavy. He bit the pain, then he bit the floor. Just from the look on Jean's face, Touka and Hongo could tell that he was trying his best to restrain the pain.

“B-But they are real! I have heard that long, long ago a great disaster had befallen the outside world. It was so horrible that nearly everyone was plunged into poverty thanks to that disaster. It had caused a great chaos among the population of the many different countries and states to the point some people discarded the laws and rules of their sociality and did everything they could to live a bit more comfortable. Among those people was a band that was so scary its name alone already caused great dread in the people who heard it. It was said that the people of that band always were very, very hungry and like tomb raiders pillaging the treasures and relics of the death those people robbed every sort of food they could find! It was because their favorite victims were Ramen restaurants they became known as the Ramen Raiders! The old book I had read told me so…”

Nodding her head slightly at her own explanation, pouting her cheeks at the amusement that Hongo and Jean felt of her earlier mistake. She truly felt like a child who was trying to tell her friends a fascinating story that she had experienced, just to have them disbelieve her. Well their amusement was not wrongly placed, for the story Touka had told actually was a comic inside her back. Yet of course she was obvious to the fact the contents of that comic were much less realistic than historical books would have been. It just shows how complicated human sociality was wasn’t it? Yet even Touka herself had started to have some doubts. How could this man have been a dreadful Ramen Raider if he was actually a hero? That just didn’t make any sense at all! When she finally had understood Hongo’s explanation.

“Oh a Masked Rider? Like Zoro and his black horse! But what would you ride then?”

Tilting her head toward the side Touka her mind had quickly returned into her broad imagination as she pondered the endless possibilities of what mount the masked rider would use. A horse somehow sounded impossible. Sure a prince or a knight used to ride on horses but a mysterious hero like him would have a different mount right? Maybe those giant lizards like back at her home? They were awesome to see and kind of impressive, or maybe a winged Pegasus? A mighty hero of the old Greece legends used to ride on one right? Or maybe even a dragon! Yet she was quickly brought back from her imagination when she heard Jean response again. So the man was called Takeshi Hongo? That did sound like a more human-like name. Still in the end all her playful thoughts would soon be replaced again by concern when she saw Jean collapsing in front of her. Her eyes instantly filled again with fear when she saw Jean’s expression Touka quickly leaned forwards, trying to give him a arm for support as she spoke with a voice that betrayed both her concern and sadness.

“Uguu… I didn’t hit him that hard… Hongo-san, humans aren’t that fragile to be hurt so easily right? I heard from my dad that humans were less sturdy but not like twigs! He won’t break right? If Jean breaks we can’t fix him!”

He couldn't help but chuckle a bit as Touka told her story. She looked like a teenager yet she was so...childlike. Well, no matter it was rather cute and he paid no mind to it. Instead he pulled out his wallet when Touka asked what he rode, and took out a simple photo from it, showing it to the girl. It was one of his fonder memories from his rather long life.

It was from a few years back when the Riders gathered to celebrate the fall of the Crisis Empire, all eleven of them were gathered in this photo each in their human forms and on their motorcycles. When they wanted to celebrate they did what they usually did when they were all together: have a race on old man Tachibana's track.

"I ride a motorcycle, same like the rest of my friends." he answered simply, before turning to the somehow exhausted Jean. "That isn't good. Well, whatever the cause he needs help." he stated before looking around a bit. "We should take him to the hospital...but since I just came in I have no idea where it is."

Still a bit shaken up, Jean regained his balance and helped himself back up on his two feet. As much as he adored attention, he could feel that this kind of attention would eventually turn negative. He shrugged off the pain as it passed and smiled with excitement. "Eheheh... I'm sorry, I haven't been eating as many veggies as I used to. Been feeling a bit tired since the change in my diet~" It was a blatant lie, but Jean was hoping that his weird personality and habits could pass it off as a convincable one. The longer he remained standing on his feet, the more he realized how physically drained he had become. He was a man with pride, but being a clown who usually gets targetted and embarrassed on a daily basis, it didn't hurt Jean so much to take up Touka's offer as he latched onto her arm as a slight crutch.

It felt nice as Jean's grasp turned from one of necessity to one of... hell, she was a girl and he was a boy. Jean enjoyed this strange feeling of happiness that had come to him--a kind of happiness he hasn't experienced much of since his days working for H.A.H.A. When talks of going to the hospital came up, Jean immediately interrupted to change the subject. "You ride a motorcycle!? Really!? I've got a bike of my own and I'm always looking for people to start a little bike gang with!" Jean said this without realizing that his ride was a tricycle, something that Takeshi would probably feel a bit uneasy riding with. "Ohhh... so you're new in town? Where're you heading? Maybe we can help you out!" Jean said with a smile, looking to Touka for agreement.
