Takeshi had to double take for a moment, seeing the boy suddenly transform like that. Was he some new form of Rider? Either way he took a moment to adjust to the sudden change. He couldn't sense any cybernetics from him so he left it up to the fact that clowns were weird and mysterious. His expression remained neutral, and only quirked an eye brow when he was asked if he liked pie. Of course he did, what kind of hero hated pie? But he sensed something...not danger but just something. He couldn't quite place his finger on it but pies and clowns had some sort of relation...he just couldn't remember what. But before he could place his finger on it, the girl seemed to have ducked behind him, seemingly afraid of the clown, thinking Jean was a monster. He chuckled a bit, a fear of clowns? Not surprising, in his travels he did find a many a child who was afraid of such, and there was always one way to remedy a fear of a clown...play along with them to get the scared person smiling. As such, he gave Jean a wink, a signal that it was time for a little show to aid the scared girl, before moving his arms in a fashion he got used to. "Rider....HENSHIN!" throwing his right arm at a diagonal to his right then rotating it clock-wise until it was a diagonal to his left, then he retracting it to his waist and thrusting out his left arm at a diagonal to his right. After that pose Hongo leapt into the air where the wind-pressure activates his transformation. Soon enough, his belt appeared, the Typhoon generator spinning as the energy built up, in a flash he landed before Jean, with Touka still behind him, posing properly as his scarf flowed in the wind. To Jean, this just may have looked as another act, a very elaborate way to don a costume. "It seems the little lady is afraid of you, fiendish clown! As a Kamen Rider, it is my duty to protect her!" he shouted, feeling a little cheesy. He was hoping he didn't need to transform but hey. "Stand back fair maiden! I shall not let this clown eat you in a pie!" Edited by Yosuke, Jan 29 2009, 04:18 PM.

WHAT'S SO FUNNY?

Aghhh!! Misunderstanding after misunderstanding! Jean wanted to tear out all of his hair after seeing the girl react the way she did. Jean was more than aware that there were a select few who were actually afraid of clowns--the beings whose sole purpose is to bring out the happiness of others! It was preposterous. Just when Jean took out the big guns, the plan had backfired. He was labeled as the creepy villain in this sad sad drama. What is a clown to do?! The old man winked at Jean and proceeded in another flashy performance to don a costume. Jean made sure to keep an eye out on the details because it was in fact a very flashy way to change costumes. He would have to take mental notes of what this guy does and maybe apply it to Jean's own technique. Life is learning, and Jean's eternal quest for the pursuit of perfection continues on. He was winked at. Jean had a feeling as to what the guy was winking at, but he didn't want to accept it. The older man even transformed and still Jean refused to accept it. Watching the girl cowering in fear, then seeing this man transform in front of her. No, please no. "It seems the little lady is afraid of you, fiendish clown! As a Kamen Rider, it is my duty to protect her!Stand back fair maiden! I shall not let this clown eat you in a pie!" On the inside, in his heart, Jean cringed as he wanted to simply yell "No! This is all a misunderstanding!" but no, he had to keep on the act. In the world of entertainment, there is no room for a cry baby... unless you work for a soap opera but besides that, no! None of it! Clowns were trained to suppress their inner feelings and emotions all for the sake of the people. Jean froze in place, still twirling his pie but in his eyes one could see Jean's hesitation. It was a conflict of interests... but Jean knew what to do--the right thing to do. He turned around and tampered with his make up a little bit and when he turned around, the lovable and fun-looking face of his had transformed into a yellow-teethed demonic and wretched clown look. "Please forgive me, my comrades." Jean thought to himself as he lost a bit of his soul while performing the act. He slouched a bit more and positioned his arms to look like they were claws. For the sake of Touka's happiness, Jean would have to play villain. There was no other choice. "Co....come here little girl! I'm going to eat you!" With every word, Jean felt a needle prick his heart sharper and sharper. He began to make his way closer to the two, slowly putting one foot in front of the other, calmly walking ever closer. "Get out of the way, masked man, or deal with the same fate as she!" Jean wanted to cry. He wouldn't stand looking in the mirror after this. He felt dispicable. He would constantly steal stares at the young girl's face in hopes that his efforts were not in vain. Let this masked warrior defeat Jean, just so Jean could see Touka smile, for that is the true victory in being a clown. It doesn't matter how, as long as the people are happy. |

There was a weird feeling that nagged in the back of her mind when she peeked back from behind the back of the monster rancher. She couldn’t describe why exactly but she somehow felt that the face of the clown had changed a bit, looking weirder than a moment ago! When suddenly she saw the man outstretch his above her the girl rose her head in response, her eyes curiously tracing the path the man his arm took with her gaze. Was it going to start?! Would that monster rancher reveal his special abilities that even made the mocking machine submit to his will? Following the strange pattern of movements he made with his arms the girl suddenly saw the monster rancher leap into the air when a strange phenomena appeared. Her eyes blinking for a moment in surprise she dazed toward the flash curiously when all of sudden the monster rancher landed in front of her, yet different than how he had leapt into the air a moment ago. His jacket replaced by a green colored made from a metal she didn’t recognize, something that made her even more curious and interested than the fact a armor suddenly covered the man his body while a red scarf continued to blow in the air, its path closely followed by the gaze of the girl. “A blessing of light bestowed a armor on him? There was such a thing as a hero?!” Her own voice filled with childish excitement the girl continued to gaze toward the hero who called him Kamen Rider. Wait wasn’t a Rider someone who rode on something? Then what was a kamen, a monster of sorts? Then shouldn’t he call himself a Monster Rider? So even human heroes had strange names… This truly was incredible fascinating but complicating at the same time. When she had heard the clown monster once more threatening to eat her the girl quickly resumed to shelter behind the now armored monster rancher hero while she heard him tell that he would protect her. Could it have been that she finally found it? Rather than searching for help to save her kin it was the danger she faced that had called forth a hero! Could it have been that he was the same sort of hero her father was? Someone who fought for the safety of his beloved ones, defeated mean monsters and inspired people to great deeds? So the humans had heroes too! Nodding her head toward the armored hero the girl bolded up her hands into small fists when all of sudden she smiled brightly and yelled something that most likely would surprise both the Kamen Rider and the clown monster. “P-Please defeat him and bring back Jean! I still want him to taste my apple juice and talk more about the weird soda geysers! So the clown monster has to spew him back out!” |

"As long as evil exists, there will always be a hero to protect the people. That is a Kamen Rider!" Takeshi said to the confused girl behind him, who was utterly surprised by his sudden appearance. It worked better then he thought...but somehow something felt wrong, he sensed something coming from Jean...pain? Ah, yes. Much like how his duty is to protect, a clown's duty is to bring smiles...playing the villain must be a horrible experience. And so, it all started with him staring down the clown before him, assuming his usual fighting stance...all the while using all his willpower to support the powers he had while he was transformed. He was not meant to use his abilities in such a showy fashion, after all. He'd get scolded by Tachibana if he heard this story...with Hayato probably giving him a pat on the back. "Worry not young lady, I will bring back this Jean to our world, he has to still be in there somewhere, keep calling out to him, maybe he can fight the monster from the inside with your cheers!" he told Touka with a smirk from beneath his mask, before turning back to Jean. "Prepare yourself...!" he exclaimed, moving his right leg for his opening "attack". "Rider..." moving his arms, some form of energy was building up from his belt as the center piece began spinning, the energy soon built up to his right leg. He had enough control just to produce the glowing, the actual power behind the kick would not exist. "POINT KICK~!" He'd launch his foot towards his "enemy's" gut, but had held back at the last second, it would look like it would hit from Touka's angle but for Jean it'd touch him barely. "Now! Spit him out!" |

“P-Please defeat him and bring back Jean! I still want him to taste my apple juice and talk more about the weird soda geysers! So the clown monster has to spew him back out!” The words ran past the distance, behind the make-up, through Jean's skin, coursing all the way into his heart. Just as how Touka's words of hate blew holes in his heart, her words now did more than put band-aids on it. His wounds were healed, and his eyes ran heavy with tears of joy. She didn't hate him! He could still bring happiness to her! Beneath the make up and in Jean's mind, he was dancing with utmost joy, enough joy to burn some couches on the sidewalk! (Think of how happy you must be to do something like that) He clenched his fist and looked at it with rejuvenated spirit. "She doesn't hate me... I didn't make her upset..." Of course, Jean always has that habit of getting a bit too wrapped up in the moment and exaggerating. "She's..." Takeshi prepared his "attack" and Jean nodded, understanding what was to come. The Kamen Rider dashed at Jean with intense speed. "Sweet Touka is..." The kick was flashing a blinding light as Jean himself had a hard time keeping track of where it was. "POINT KICK~!" Kamen Rider shouted as he held back at the last minute. It was now up to Jean to follow up on the act and take the hit... "SHE'S ROOTING FOR ME!" Jean muttered in a near-demonic tone as he strained his muscles, pivoted off his front foot, and proceeded to ram the pie in his hand at Kamen Rider's face from above. The speed that Jean launched the pie in caused a small tail of smoke trailing from the end of the pie. "Pierrot level three... ACTIVATE!" Calling it ironic just didn't seem to do the situation justice. |

It must had been the outrageous weird way the events had developed, events that she was without her own knowledge for a majority part of that had caused her to lose her grip on reality quickly. Yet even that might had not been the case at all for what Touka might had found reality for her was already questionable enough on its own. It was strange how easily she was dragged into believing the seriousness of the situation in front of her. Did she really believe that clown was a monster? Did she truly believe that the stranger she had asked help for had secretly been a hero just waiting for the cry of aid to get into action? The way how slowly she started to forget the direness and importance of her true purpose and how for a moment that face smiled so cheerfully, so warm and so innocent, the burden of reality having lifted from her for just a moment. She true was like a naïve child, the cheerful excitement and the honest way she was expressing her feeling, maybe she was even more like a newborn existence yet to be influenced by the outside world. If only such a thing could have been a reality… “B-Be careful!” Yelling toward the armored hero in concern she smiled brightly when she heard his response about bringing back Jean. She truly seemed to had believed everything that was unfolding in front of her, for in the end this was a entire different world for her right? When finally the scene was about to begin Touka truly must had felt like a child watching their favorite hero in action. Her eyes following every action as she made small yelps or other soft sounds when the battle took a sudden twist. With the armored hero opening the ‘epic’ hero versus demonic clown battle the girl made a loud cheer as the hero kicked toward the side of the demonic clown who had reacted by smacking a pie into the hero’s direction! Suddenly raising her own arms over her head as she ducked slightly, seemingly somehow having the fear that she would have secretly fallen victim to a pie attack also she suddenly recalled the words the hero had said to her a moment ago. She had to find a way to ‘reach’ Jean? But how would she be able to do such a thing? If her fears were to be confirmed the poor soul would have been eaten by that wicked clown! Yet the hero said that perhaps Jean would be able to fight the clown from within? “G-Give him back! Jean you can’t become a pie, you wouldn’t taste good as one! Pies are made from apples not from people! You can also use other things but people are a big no-no!” Suddenly shouting her cheers, somehow combined with instructions of how she believed someone would need to make pies the girl tried to do whatever she thought could help out the situation. Yet it seemed that her childish comments were slowly taking the situation to the other side for the same people who were pointing toward Jean a moment ago had somehow decided to watch the ongoing scene, some even laughing or smiling as here and there even children were seen asking their parents if that armored man was really a hero, or if the clown would turn them into pies if they behaved badly. |

Takeshi was feeling a little nostalgic now. Even if it wasn't a serious battle, the fact that he was protecting someone was always a nice feeling. Even then Touka seemed to be really getting into it, which made this all the more easier to do. His smirk turned into a broad grin. "Stand back young lady!" Takeshi soon cried out as the pie came in, he took it square on, he couldn't dodge lest the pie hit the person behind him. The impact didn't phase him much and made his helmet creamy as he pulled of the tray, trying to wipe some of it off (not seriously though). "Fiend...resorting to exploiting the fact she's behind me." he said simply. "And now I'm blinded thanks to this delicious weaponry!" he exclaimed. He actually could still see very well, but wanted to make this as dramatic as possible. As such merely waited in his stance. "Young lady...I'm going to ask you to be my eyes. Keep calling out to the man all the same! We'll get him back together!" he said sternly. |

WHAT'S SO FUNNY?

Crack. Crackle.... Sizzle... Those were the sounds of Jean's sanity. His higher form of Pierrot had almost immediately began taking a toll on his body and general well-being. Jean's mask had already began fusing with his face as the lines that which display the edges turned a bit hazy. It was becoming his second skin. With a wild chuckle and ten pies on his fingertips, Jean prepared his next salvo against Kamen Rider. The masked avenger was blinded by Jean's earlier pie, good. "Wahahahahaha!!" Jean began taking the common villain's patient walk towards Kamen Rider. "Silly silly silly silly goose! Silly. You'll have more to worry about than that girl!" In a moment, a sharp pain ran throughout Jean's entire body. It was a cold pain, running through his burning body. "RNNNGGHHHHHH!!!" Jean dropped his pies as his hands immediately went to contain the insanity from escaping his skull. Jean's shrieks of pains, higher in pitch than humanly possible, slowly shifted to shrieks of laughter. The clown's gloves began to expand and the rest of his body began bulging out of their humanly boundaries. Jean was turning rabid! His vision turned red as he hunched over. Darting his eyes left to right--his head remained still--Jean looked for a target... Touka. Touka... TOUKA!!! "TOOOUUUKKKAAAAAA"Jean lost it. There was very little reasoning and rationality left in the hollowed shell of a clown. Jean rolled his head around with his tongue out. He looked at Touka and smiled... smiled real hard. "Touka! Touka! Touka! Touka! Touka!" and with that, Jean dashed for his newly-met friend. Perhaps Jean did need to be saved. |

For a moment the girl gazed toward the ongoing scene in a daze, surprised that the armored hero was caught by the surprise attack of the clown. Could his words have held some truth? Was he unable to dodge or even fight back because he had to shield her? Was it all her fault? Something within her clearly said she had been the main reason everything had went off-scale. If only she didn’t approach Jean back then he wouldn’t have be eaten by that clown nor would that armored hero have to deal with those mocking attacks, unable to fight back because he had to focus on protecting her. It had all been her fault… Despite the encouraging words of the armored hero the only thing she could do was stare in front of her in disbelief. How did he expect her to save Jean if she couldn’t even protect herself?! If she had such a strength he wouldn’t even had to let himself been hit by the pie! Yet her fear would only be strengthened with the changes the clown had been undergoing. The sudden shrieks of pain had caused Touka to avert her gaze from the armored hero when suddenly her gaze was struck with shock. “J…Jean?” When the clown suddenly dropped his pies, his hands holding his head as he screamed in agony the girl could have sworn that for a moment that despite all the make-up that served as a mask for the clown she could have clearly seen Jean, and he looked as if he had to endure some terrible pain. Was it just a illusion? No… It must had been the close ties her kin had with the spiritual aspects of the world that made her sense the pain Jean’s soul had to endure. Suddenly hunching over like a beast Touka saw the enraged clown search his surroundings like a predator that was about to determinate his next prey. When she finally saw the clown lock his stare on her Touka found herself crawling back, as if to make some distance between him and herself while she started to shake her head, her eyes once more gathering with tears. “N-No.. S-Stay away… NO!” Suddenly screaming with enough strength to turn the entire station deaf something had caused to make it look as if time itself had come to a halt for everyone beside the armored hero and the clown. Was it because their sense of reality had broken down also? No it was nothing on their side, rather it seemed like someone else, once more had to carry the burden of responsibility. Where previously had been only thin air to separate Touka from the clown something, or rather someone had decided to become a obstacle for the clown. “To see you cower in fear… This is not the way you are Touka, nor the way you were raised to be…” As a low masculine voice spoke a tall clad in a brown armor and a overlaying red coat was seen standing in front of the girl. Despite the elderly sound of his voice or the grey color of his hair the man seemed to had been a hardened warrior for his body was sturdy and muscular and a eye-patch over his left eye seemed to had been hiding traces of past battles. Still the most remarkable feature he contained must had been the winged ears on the side of his head, a pair of ears that closely resembled Touka’s. “In the past you would have wielded your sword even against your friend, yet now you are even too scared to fight? Is it because you fear killing him?” “B-But…” Lowering her gaze at the harsh tone she was spoken to the only thing the girl could do was remain silent, as if she was being scolded. He couldn’t have expected for her to wield a sword here right? Not only would it scare everyone if a stranger started to swing a sword but even more she would end up harming Jean! Yet there would have been no need for her to speak any words for the old warrior suddenly spoke again. “Did you forget already? A sword is not just a weapon… For you it is a part of your body. Command it to cut your foes and so will it obey, command it to protect and so it will obey. If you do not wish for me to kill him they command me to save him!” When the man suddenly yelled his final words a bright flash illuminated the area before it cleared away, revealing a long katana within the hands of the eagle girl who stared at it in surprise. How could she have forgotten the purpose of her Aquila Vesica? It was not just a weapon, it was her way to display her determination to save her people and to protect those she cared about. So why did she not think about it before? If she couldn’t protect herself… If she couldn’t save Jean herself… Then she should let the Aquila Vesica do it! Suddenly smiling softly at her own foolish behavior the girl slowly stood up as she brandished her sword, making a single swipe with it before taking on her stance. There was no way that she could just stay back and hope for some sort of miracle to happen! Even if she didn’t realize that everything up till now was a act she did realize it had caused Jean a lot of pain so she had to end it quickly! “I’m sorry but I’m afraid words alone won’t help Jean… This might hurt but bear with it because… I’m going to whack you until you're back!” Turning her katana sideways the girl prepared herself for the clown to enclose the distance between them both. She no longer needed to worry about the people around them for her powers had enabled her to temporary drag this place into her own mind, yet it would prove to be quite difficult to explain to the armored hero or Jean how exactly she did it. Yet it was necessary for her to be able to act and so without any hesitation she jumped upwards, swiping down the blunt side of her weapon toward Jean’s head. While her sword wouldn’t cut it still would give quite a headache if the attack connected. Also she had forgotten that on terms of physical strength humans were different that Beastkin but… mistakes happen right? Edited by Touka Aquila, Feb 1 2009, 06:37 PM.

He...had gone mad! One strange thing after another kept happening the moment he stepped off the train...but there wasn't much time, he was growing more and more unstable, if his screams were any sign at all. He'd have to actually put effort into this...throwing away the act of being blinded, he would charge into action to put a stop to this madness...! He'd have to do whatever he could to keep Jean from reaching Touka. Or not. Much to his surprise the meek girl behind him had suddenly yelled out, causing Hongo to stop for the moment...before she herself suddenly took action, a sword drawn. He could only watch for the moment, before coming back to the reality...he wouldn't be out done like this. As such he stepped back and took a stance. If Touka's attack didn't work he'd have to charge in at the right moment and give one of his own! |

WHAT'S SO FUNNY?
|
Jean circles his arm back and forth, as if preparing for one of the most glorious softball pitches in the history of mankind, but in this case he was winding up for one big strong sucker punch at Touka. His hands and fingers had already tripled in size at this point, pulsating with the mysterious power of Auguste. As he let his punch loose, Jean felt a sharp sensation for a brief moment. His inner self trying to get a hold of his current self for one moment. On the outside, Jean had hesitated for no less than half a second but on the inside, it was a battle that lasted an eternity and was brought with much intensity. As he hesitated, time stood still for just a moment. He had regained a brief moment of his consciousness back... his sanity. "What... where am I? What am I doing? Wha--" Jean's thoughts were cut off as he looked in front of him to see Touka with a katana drawn... actually no. It was a katana in motion, going down for a swing. Jean panicked, his heart rate rising fast, pumping blood and adrenaline. He saw the form, he saw the path, he knew the way the sword would swing, yet he could not change a thing about it. He couldn't dodge it! Thwack. ... Crack! ... Jean's fist remained in front of Touka's face without any signs of strength and tension in it. After fixing one's gaze, one would see Touka's katana making its mark on top of Jean's forehead. It was wedged half a millimeter deep into the thick make of his mask, which began to peel off of Jean's face. His vision was blurred but his sanity clear. With the last bit of his strength, Jean muttered "Tou...ka..." and collapsed onto the floor, his mask then falling off his face. He fist opened up into an open hand and it reached for Touka's cheek but brushed it lightly as Jean fell to the floor. As for the floor, it was more like a crater. That beastkin really did a doozie on Jean. The floor around the young clown had burst under the amount of force applied by Touka's katana. |

Maybe it was because the girl had been so used to wielding, let stand carrying a sword that any signs of hesitation had faded away as soon as her fingers had gripped hold of the hilt of her weapon. When she saw the monster clown leaping into her direction like a enraged beast she had already realized that in this sort of situation hesitation wasn’t permitted. Just like making a error would cost her life so would any error derive her of the chance to save Jean. Not only would her actions affect herself or her well-being but hesitating here could also mean she would become unable to save Jean. She had to do it! While the swing only lasted for a moment it felt for her for a eternity. Slowly the blunt edge of her katana descended down the air in a delicate arc before it had hit its target head-on. Maybe it was her own imagination but something had felt different from the way she usual wielded her weapon. Maybe she unknowingly had held back a little but when her katana had hit the head of the monster clown Touka felt as if her weapon had been replaced by a toy hammer, so strange did the impact of her attack feel. For a moment the eyes of the eagle girl remained narrowed in a cold stare, as if she had taken away her own hesitation by deriving her mind of any emotions, yet that only lasted for a moment because all of sudden the girl blinked her eyes before noticing the fist that was propelled toward her face, yet never reaching its target. Instantly the girl closed her eyes again as her body made a small shiver, as if the brave warrior-like attitude was replaced by the meek and innocent girl again. After a few seconds, when she finally realized the fist would never reach her Touka finally opened her eyes, just to see the mask of the clown peeling off, revealing Jean’s face bellow it. Slowly, as if awakening from a dream the girl started to realize what had happened and when finally she heard her name being muttered by Jean, soon followed by a soft brush against her cheek the girl saw him collapse onto the floor, or what was left behind of it.. “Ara? Oh no! I-I did it again… I forgot humans were a bit on the fragile side… Nee~ Jean-kun open your eyes… Don’t fall asleep… Don’t run after the white light! You can’t die!” Suddenly kneeling down beside Jean Touka her hands grasped the shoulders of the boy as she shook him lightly. Yet when she found him not reacting instantly she suddenly started to rock him harder in a fit of panic, and unaware of herself did it with such strength she might had accidently knocked his head deeper into the ground. What did she need to do? Actually what would she do back home?! Well nobody really fainted in front of her before so maybe she should do it the way humans would do? What did they do again… “Water… Water… Oh!” Suddenly focusing her eyes on the large wooden flask that she had dropped near her the girl quickly picked it up and pulled off the top before holding it above Jean’s face… And turning it upside down! While it was not water she truly believed he would wake up if she did things this way! She had seen someone splash a person with water when they fainted so apple-juice should do the job also right? |

Cringing at the impact, Hongo simply dropped his fighting stance. Things ended quicker then he thought and it seemed Jean's momentary bout of insanity was mostly just for show. Well, no harm was done (well, to anyone but Jean, but details) and it seems were now back to normal...for now. As such Hongo willed his Rider suit away and the belt faded from sight...now he was just plain old Hongo again. "I think that was a little too much little lady." Hongo said as he scratched the back of his head looking at the fainted Jean. Well, it was effective sure, he could give her that. He was mostly impressed with her skill, he hadn't encountered many swordsmen before (Shadowmoon to name one), but he could at least tell she's was fairly proficient with the blade. "Welp, may as well wake him up...think I have some smelling salts in my bag somewhere." he mused. He was going to be a Gym teacher so he thought it'd be handy, and as such turned to walk to and rummage through his bag, of course Touka's panic caught his attention and he never really made it...then saw her dump the juice on his head. "...I guess that works too." he said with a slight laugh. |

WHAT'S SO FUNNY?
|
Jean opened his eyes to find himself in a winter wonderland. He was alone atop a lonely hill blanketed in snow, where plains and snow were all that the eye could see on the horizon. Jean had already collected a mountain of snowfall on his body, laying on the floor. When he first moved, it was as if his body had remained there for an eternity. The snow wasn't cold though, believe it or not. It was actually warm. Jean sat upright, his vision still blurry from whatever happened before--he couldn't think of it right now. ". . . J e a n . . ." ...an ominous voice echoed throughout the sky. The young clown shot his head straight to the sky in search for the source of this strangely familiar voice. Who was it? He couldn't recall, but it was so familiar. It was a voice he hears almost every day, every night, every minute he spends asleep and awake, but at the time he couldn't remember who it was. "Oh, here so soon??" ...the same voice cried, but with a different feeling attached to its sound. Jean turned his head the other way and off to another direction that he thought would lead to the source of this other sound. A voice that he did not hear as frequently as the last, but a voice that will always linger in his mind and in his heart. Even now, the boy still drew blanks. "Who is it!? Who's there!?" Jean cried, annoyed at the anxiety. It was one of man's greatest villains, the unknown. "You shouldn't be here." ...The clown threw his hands in the air in frustration and jumped from his laying position. He was in his school uniform. In the blink of an eye, Jean then was presented with a tall dark shadowy figure at his back. As if being held by gunpoint, Jean did not move a muscle once the figure's presence was known. "It seems that you're not strong enough yet..." Jean gulped as his memories of what had just happened ran through his mind. "I held back. I didn't want things to go as badly as they did. I wasn't myself, I was a--""A monster? A freak? No, you were far from that." The dark figure's silhouette was illuminated by a wide grin of beautiful white teeth that almost seemed a bit scary. His hand was brought to his chin as he smirked. ""A monster... If you'd like, I could... arrange it to--" "STOP!" Two beams of purple and green lights immediately imprisoned the dark figure, tossing Jean off the hilltop and tumbling into the warm snow. Jean turned his head to take a good look at the dark figure, still grinning and unphased by his entrapment. Jean looked at horror as the dark figure became distinguishable... It was like looking in a mirror. That dark figure was Jean. The ground began to shake as Jean tumbled even more from the loss of balance. The earth beneath him began to shatter and the barren plains began to fill with large cliffs and abrupt mountains emerging from all over. As Jean's eyes were eventually blocked off by tall earthly walls, the dark figure left his last words to the young man. "I'll see you soon, Jean. Heheh." Jean's vision began to blur as the ground continued to shake even more furiously than before. His first sight was Touka. His next was the floor. Rinse. Repeat. Touka had been shaking--no, that word doesn't seem to describe the immense power--Jean for a while, awakening him from his slumber. "Wha... where am--"SPLASH!Jean's slow recovery to consciousness was sped up tremendously as Touka poured her Apple Juice all over Jean's face. His make-up smeared even more as his natural skin tone peeked behind all the face paint. "What happened?" Jean looked around, trying to find hints of what had just happened. He noticed the crater on the floor, he noticed his cracked mask in his hand, but nothing connected. He darted his eyes, searching for an answer. He then looked up to Touka, then to Hongo. Then he realized it. "Does this look like I peed myself?" |

Something… There was something very nostalgic about the sight in front of her. Maybe she had forgotten the origin of the memory, or something had forbidden her from doing so but it made a unpleasant chill run across her spine and every second that passed just filled her with more fear. It must had been that fear that had made her panic so hard. Something in the back of her mind was warning her, telling her that if she didn’t force Jean awake quickly he might had drifted off into a slumber of which he would never open his eyes from. This… She couldn’t let this happen again! Her voice stuttering from the fear that had taken a grip of her she violently kept on shaking Jean’s shoulder while calling out his name before finally he had opened his eyes. It seemed that her trick had succeeded, or at least sped up Jean’s awakening process for only a moment after she showered his face with the apple juice from her flask he had already been brought back to reality. When Jean had started looking around, seemingly confused about what had happened Touka suddenly lowered her head a little, as if to secretly trying to apologize while escaping the blame of the creation of the small crater Jean had been in yet when he finally spoken his words had made Touka react in two different, entirely opposite ways. First a immense feeling of joy had overwhelmed her when she realized Jean had woken but yet at the same time something caused her to cry softly, as if she had just started to understand how lucky she had been. Jean didn’t share the same fate as the unknown memory she held. She didn’t knew what in the world that memory could have been but she was certain that the person inside it had suffered a worse fate than Jean, so perhaps it was a strange kind of happiness for her to be reassured that memory wouldn’t have been repeated. Of course when Jean had suddenly decided to speak, using some rather strange words for the conversation it had finally caused Touka to be unable to decide what way would have been the best to react with, and as a result had done both that had been inside her thoughts. Suddenly the eagle girl embraced Jean tightly, soft sobs being mixed with a soft laughter at the words the boy had just spoken. It was strange that despite having tears running down her cheeks the girl was smiling weakly and laughing gently at the ‘joke’ Jean had spoken. He… He didn’t die, he wasn’t eaten by the monster clown but more importantly he didn’t die when she attempted to save him, causing her to respond with a soft and slightly cheerful voice. “Hehe I never heard of people who can pee apple juice~ the thought alone would make me unable to ever drink it again. B-but I’m glad you’re back…” Whispering those final words in a tender and honest voice the girl finally broke her embrace and looked from Jean toward Hongo with a soft smile, it seemed things did end up alright, despite the huge mess… |
