The reapers deep black cloak floated out like fabric night, shifting and wavering as he moved. His skeletal fingers grasped the black hilt of the scythe. It's metallic blade caught and reflected the light of the moon as he held it. As his side was Morte. Sniffing along the trail of their target. However Deus had already felt it's presence. He dashed across the rooftop. Dragging the scythe blade behind him so it sent sparks flying in his wake. "CHRONUS!" He said in his skeletal voice that sounded like the howl of an ice cold wind. "Hai, Boss-Chan!" The imp said flying top speed on an adjacent roof. He leaped, and exploded out into a second grim reaper. Deus leaped and planted his foot in Chronus' back using it to spring across the gap between roofs. Even as he did so Chronus reverted and flew behind him. "This spirit is moving quickly. Let's do this in one go Reaper-Sama! My blade is itching for that feeling! Let us do it elegantly like men! Asmodeus' skeletal face couldn't grin, but if it could he would have. "Like men eh? That's really a lame thing to say Than!" "Deus! The spirit is directly ahead!" "Don't worry! I feel it!" He said leaping over the edge of the building and falling to the alley below with a force that would have broke his legs in human form, landing in front of the spirit. The ghost stopped and turned to run the opposite way only to have a second reaper block it's escape. "Good job Chronus.." He said spinning the scythe. "You ran quite a ways spirit.. But this is the end.." He tilted his head. "I hope your mind is at ease.." He raised the scythe over his head, allowing it to spin on the tip of his finger before he reached out grabbing it firmly and bringing it down with all his might and slicing the spirit in half. "Rest in peace.." He said as his scythe shrank down and faded into the green imp. "A good clean slice, Kero. Done in one Blow. That's a reap not even Reaper Dono can look down on..Kero Kero." "Wan! That's it for tonight, right?" Morte said cheerfully. "Tch.. I gotta say! That one was fun! I wish they'd all run like that! My heart's all doki-doki!" "Tch... It's a huge bother chasing them.. Most are bound to one spot.. I wonder why that one could run around.." He sighed heavily. "Cheh.. Either way it's over now.." Edited by Cypriss, Jan 19 2009, 06:09 AM.

Hello, Nurse!
|
The night was alive, unlike the spirit that Death had just so neatly severed from this plane. Within this living night was one woman who was new to town, long golden hair flowing and blue eyes curious as she approached the alleyway that the spirit and the others had gotten to. "Hello? Is someone thar?" She called in a soft Irish brogue. Lucy peered down the dark alley, heart pounding. Goosebumps rose on her creamy arms, and although it was a cool night and she'd forgotten to put on a jacket, she knew it wasn't the temperature making the hairs on her arms prickle. "It's all righ'... I woan' hurt ye..." her voice softened as she stepped into the darkness, a little foolishly. But she trusted her instincts, and she trusted the fact that she felt distinctly uncomfortable. If there was something mean and nasty down there, well! She would deal with that as it came up, until then... Her white heels clicking on the ground, she sank into the darkness between the two tall buildings, shivering in her fashionable white dress, honey hair swaying behind her and trembling a little with nerves. |

Asmodeus flung his wrist out. His black cloak turned into a mass of black that flowed over him covering him completely before shrinking and retreating away. After it retracted into a small charm on his wrist in the shape of a skull. It left behind a tall boy of European and Japanese descent. He had light brown air with crystal blue eyes that were not common among the Japanese. His skin was light and his face was handsome an d less angular than a European's. He had a slightly muscular build form baseball training but not exactly ripped. He might have been handsome if it weren't for his expression. Flat eyes with narrowed eyebrows that looked somewhat annoyed at all times. Lips pursed together and hands tucked deep into his pockets. He looked like someone who didn't give a crap about anyone. Which was close to true, he didn't like most people. Or to be more honest, he didn't like the problems and trials that people forced him to go through with their annoying personalities... A voice called out into the alley.. Asmodeus jerked himself to the wall of the alley way. Someone had seen him?! If anyone found out about his secret life as the reaper he'd be in big trouble. However they called out again asking if anyone was there. They wouldn't say that if they had seen him right? "It apppears to be safe, Asmodeus-Sama." Thanatos, a small muscular green imp said at Asmodeus' feet. Bowing his head towards the boy. He was a ghost and couldn't be seen by normal mortals. So he made no effort to hide. "yeah yeah booss- chan~ No need to hide like a little girl.." Chronus, a small blue winged imp said mockingly. Asmodeus sighed and walked down the path towards hte person with the accent. "Oi oi.. nothing here but me.." he said frustratedly.. "No need to yell like an idiot.." he was clearly displaying his bad attitude.. Edited by Cypriss, Mar 20 2009, 11:36 AM.

Hello, Nurse!

"Oy, who're ye callin' an idiot?" Lucy's voice had stopped trembling and now held a bite of annoyance as she came into view, squinting a bit against the darkness. She was rather lovely, even with her face screwed up as though it would help her see. "Wot on earth is ye doin' down here?" The woman sighed, suddenly catching view of the young man. "Murderin'?" Her voice had gone light and airy, as though she wasn't afraid at all of him, but her heart pounded in her chest, fear coursing through her veins. She knew she smelled of fear, she could sense it on herself. But that wasn't all. She could have sworn that she had been following a spirit. Her instincts were never wrong, and she just wanted to talk to it, ask it questions, all very harmless goals. Instead she stood here, trembling in her high heels and dancing dress, arms folded and glaring at someone who might just walk up and begin brutalizing her. Wait... what? What... was that? There was a flash of green near the young man's feet. It made the hair on the back of her neck prickle, but she stepped closer anyway. Her sapphire eyes widened as she looked down and took in a vague, flickering form. "Jesus, Mary and Joseph!" Lucy whispered fearfully. |

[sorry for the delay, spring break.. >_> ] Asmodeus smirked a bit. "Who am I calling an idiot..? .. there's only one person around.." He said in an annoyed tone. Clearly not overly interested in some conversation with a person who regularly investigated alleyways at night. Maybe this girl had a penchant for taking unnecessary risks, maybe it had more to do with her thinking she was a hero of some sort and trying to 'save' people in alleyways, either way it seemed stupid to him. But most things did, he tended to be a bit more negative than most. "I'm not murdering.." He scoffed, almost laughing because it was a funny joke but also because it was completely impossible for a person with Deus' hatred of fighting to 'murder' anything other than bugs. "I was just.. let's call it 'lost'." He said creating a false explanation for why he was wandering alleyways at night. She would probably realize it was a lie but at the same time he didn't care what she thought of him. So if she assumed he was doing bad things then so be it. And it was at this time she glanced down towards Chronus and gasped letting loose a small cry of shock. She had an accent from Ireland, just what this Brit needed, an angry Irish lady who could see ghosts. He stomped Chronus with his foot causing him to 'pop' meaning he returned to his charm. Morte and Thanatos both disappeared back into his charm bracelet as well. A bone shaped charm, an hourglass charm, and a scythe charm. The three spirits all returned to these shapes dangling from a small thin metal band around his wrist. "What is it? See a rat or something?" He said pretending not to know the ghosts had been there. Hello, Nurse!

(( Bah, no worries (: )) The woman yelped again as he stomped on the creature she could barely discern. Chest heaving, she backed up slightly. Oh, great. A Brit, and a cocky bastard at that. Just what she wanted to deal with when strange things were afoot! Bleedin' wonderful! "It weren't no rat, not th' way you woz stompin' onnit like that!" Lucy snapped, tossing her hair and doing her best to put on a brave front once more. However, it struck her as quite odd that this rather normal looking man was in an alleyway consorting with strange... things. Things that made the back of her neck prickle uncomfortably and strange colors swim in front of her eyes. She had sworn she'd seen something white and wispy earlier, but the green blob... Her eyes narrowed and she tried to stand straight and strong, although her heart pounded in fear. "It were yours, weren't it?" She accused. Of course, acting completely insane was the best way to make friends and influence people in this new place. She hadn't even been speaking Japanese! Luckily she was facing another person from the UK, even if he was English. Edited by Lucy Grey, Mar 24 2009, 04:03 AM.

"MIne?" He said idly. "'I've got no idea what you're talking about.." He said casually as she continued to get worked up. Well this might actually be an advantage for him, if she was more worried than he was she might make critical errors in judgment. Besides, it meant she was less focused on facts... It oculd work out to his advantage. "I was just wandering around and wound up here.. And I certainly don't know anything about this.." "Er. .how did oyu describe it? This 'not a rat' thing you're so afraid of.." He said tucking his hands deeper into his pockets and turning away from her. 'Now if you don't mind.." He said stepping back a bit from her. "I'm just going to excuse myself form this little 'crazy-town' party we're having." He said laughing confidently to himself. She really was coming off weirdly in all this. If he didn't already KNOW she was right she would seem like a complete nutter.. But he did know.. so she only seemed like a PARTIAL nutter.. |
